- 5:22SPEAKER_00: Oh, to the NBA We go and wanna show.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: But hold up! Wait a minute! I gotta put a shout-out in it! The shout-out goes to all my Facebook friends! Oh, if your team is in it, I hope they win it to the NBA We go for that conference championship show in Oklahoma City.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: Oh, the Thunder played house to the Minnesota Timberwolves and gained five of the Western Conference Finals with the Thunder up three games to one.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: The Timberwolves had to win it to stay in it.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: And it did not happen.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: The game of beat down a fair in the first quarter.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: The Thunder led it by more than 17,000 points.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: So it seemed after the first quarter, the Thunder led it 26-9.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: And I could tell then by the look in their eyes, the beat down affair was in full effect.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: And it continued at the half.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: The score shot the basketball world.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: Oh, the Timberwolves and their fans! Wow, the Thunder and their fans loved it! The Thunder led it 65 to 32! Who would have thought?
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: Wow, what a first half beatdown that was! Yes, I expected the Thunder to win it.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: Now check this.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: During the record season, they boasted the best record in the NBA.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: Oh, they were 68 and 14.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: And at home, they were 35 and 6 on the season.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: Wow, it didn't get any better than that.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: No doubt about it.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: Well, that's no excuse for the Timberwolves to be uncompetitive in a conference championship series.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: It's disrespectful to their fans.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: The basketball world as a whole.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: The coaching was a joke.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: And it showed the Timberwolves coaching staff could not come up with the right team chemistry to put on the court at any given time.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: And even when their star player, Anthony Edwards, was double teamed.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: They had no answer for that.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: For some reason or another, they didn't seem to understand that there would be an open shooter on the court.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: If that shooter couldn't make a shot, there would be other shooters on the bench, might hit a shot, and that would be like throwing gas on the fire.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: But what a coaching blunder that was.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: And let me add this: I think the owners of the Timberwolves could have done a lot better if they had not accepted losing.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: Maybe if they had shopped around and hired some high school coaches, things may have been a little bit more respectful.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: They certainly couldn't have done any worse than those highly paid coaches.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: Or could it be that the Timberwolves owners don't know what they need to know when to hire and when to fire?
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: So let me say this.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: I don't know what that was other than a beat down affair.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: The owners are fans just like me.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: They love the game, and the only difference is their bank role is long and distinguished, and I'm on my way to Walmart for it doesn't get any better than that.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: Oh! The Oklahoma City Thunder, all over the Minnesota Timberwolves, 124-94 and advance to the NBA Finals! Well, take on the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals! And tonight it's game five in the Eastern Conference Finals live at Madison Square Garden.
