Transcript
- 0:09Hello, welcome back to another episode of wanted laurencelle.
- 0:11For today's episode, I want to talk about the Nigerian
- 0:14election. He Niger, Nigeria is preparing
- 0:17for its presidential election and Company's ongoing, you can
- 0:22see a lot of people online, especially the youths
- 0:25campaigning talking about. There are so many videos on
- 0:28YouTube talking about, Especially Nigerians in diaspora
- 0:32are the ones even like campaigning online online?
- 0:38Labels, it that way online because they won't change,
- 0:43because I think they've seen what good governance can do.
- 0:47They have seen what a good leader or a good presidential
- 0:52candidates? Can bring to the table.
- 0:55You do you see? Nigeria are just they are just
- 0:57tired although they want they don't want a You don't want PDP
- 1:01when we talk about the answers incidents that happened.
- 1:05All the recommendations that was made.
- 1:08None of the men were talking about a hippie.
- 1:10See, this is the ruling party. No, none of these we implemented
- 1:15before even the APC came into Power P.
- 1:19BP was there and the state for over many tender and they didn't
- 1:23they didn't do anything. So that was why the kind of
- 1:27climate for change in 2015 to say, okay, Key, we need
- 1:30something different, and when I PC came in, I mean things got
- 1:34worse at the fact that they were not even ready to implement
- 1:39certain changes to make people or to reassure the people.
- 1:43That's okay. Things are going to get better.
- 1:46So the youth are not even interested.
- 1:49Everybody is Jack, my and youth. They've lost hope in Nigeria.
- 1:52They'd rather you do somebody that is is working and living
- 1:58comfortably in Nigeria can decide.
- 2:00To go to the travel house and just do any job just for them to
- 2:07be like, okay, I left Nigeria. That is how bad it is, nobody's
- 2:12making plans. They just want to get out of
- 2:14that country. It makes it even more difficult
- 2:17for people to people, that can, you know, make that change
- 2:22possible and not even there to do that.
- 2:25And then you seen insurance industry, because they've lived
- 2:27there for a very long time. They have Have.
- 2:30I mean, I was listening to a radio program and they were
- 2:34talking about how some desperate scalding.
- 2:38I was talking about how they pay taxes for everything, how cold
- 2:42weather, you know, they complained about so many things
- 2:44and they said, if only Nigeria could be better, they will all
- 2:48come back to Nigeria and you do live attacks.
- 2:52Really like these are what some of the reasons why Nigerians in
- 2:55Desperate. They are really, really
- 2:57campaigning, not just for Peter. Be bold because they feel that
- 3:03The Usual Suspects of a PC and PDP we don't because they have
- 3:07not offered us anything. So let us try something
- 3:09different. Let us try something new.
- 3:12This is why everybody shouting Peter will be bought if you peel
- 3:15back the layer of Nigerian problem.
- 3:18It's not just the president, it's not just the vice
- 3:21president. It's not just it has to do with
- 3:25everybody elected in government the House of Assembly, the
- 3:29Judiciary. Three, your Governor, your
- 3:32vice-chairman, your Senators, your counselors diesel, Nigerian
- 3:38people. And these are people that every
- 3:40day, they're going to get into their office.
- 3:42The average Nigeria mindset is that this is our national cake.
- 3:45We're just going to go in there, still as much money as we can,
- 3:49still move this money offshore and then just sit down there and
- 3:54enjoy keep money for my children.
- 3:55And for my grandchildren, this is the average Nigeria.
- 4:00So even those like industrial saying that they want to come
- 4:04back down to why do they want to come back?
- 4:06They do. You want to come back because
- 4:09they don't want to pay taxes. They are shouting.
- 4:11That's okay. They earn money and thirty.
- 4:14To forty percent of that money is used is collected as taxes
- 4:19and they have to pay for insurance car insurance, they
- 4:23have to pay for a multi. Somebody does for a listed all
- 4:26these things and say that that is the problem but you nothing.
- 4:30That's okay. If Nigeria actually implement
- 4:32the system start charging for all these things.
- 4:36They mean, if you have a good governance because at the end of
- 4:40the day, still boils down to good governance because if you
- 4:43look at the diaspora you have councils Council charged, all
- 4:47the take all this money and then implement it has nothing to do
- 4:51with the Prime Minister. Yes.
- 4:53Prime Minister oversees, the Affairs of these things, but
- 4:57still down to the local government.
- 5:00Counsels, they have their role to play.
- 5:03So when we talk about the Nigerian election and we were
- 5:06talking about, oh my God, we want BtoB or some people saying
- 5:11that they want PDP something that they want a PC or listen,
- 5:17the presidency is not the problem.
- 5:20The average Nigeria, the average mindset of a Nigerian, is the
- 5:25problem you do business with somebody.
- 5:27That doesn't take the money and disappear, If you're back, we
- 5:32take money from your accounts and claim that they don't know
- 5:35what happened. While maybe is one of the staff
- 5:39in that bank that Claire do account and you're thinking,
- 5:44okay, the bank, the bank will tell you, they don't know
- 5:46anything about it and they cannot do anything about it.
- 5:49That person is left hanging that is not your president.
- 5:52That is your back. That is one of your brother's
- 5:55working in a bank. That did that in a bank, you go.
- 6:00To buy something in the market. You go to buy a less a phone.
- 6:04Somebody said in a phone, if you know, check the food and you
- 6:08said that's okay. This is an iPhone.
- 6:10I like it. You pay for it when you get
- 6:12home. Maybe during when a person is
- 6:15trying to put the whole phone packages, they will change it.
- 6:19You get home you see technology o inside an iPhone case.
- 6:25These are the issues. This is not the president.
- 6:29You see there was a video of a child like to show you how bad
- 6:34things have gotten those, the video of a child who went to a
- 6:37party, not even a party club. This child is about 11. 10 11
- 6:42years old, he went to a club and people were collecting money,
- 6:45spraying money. This child collected of about
- 6:49400,000 from somebody that was exchanging money.
- 6:52I don't even know how that person gave that child.
- 6:55That money, but maybe they felt that's okay, too.
- 6:59Because he attached himself to a certain group of people.
- 7:03So they thought that the child was with them, this boy
- 7:07collected, over 400,000 and was praying people just to just to
- 7:12spray. I wonder where asking him.
- 7:15Why would you do that? It's not like he collected that
- 7:18money to better his own life know.
- 7:21His job is so it's about show off.
- 7:23He wanted to show he wanted to do like everybody else was to
- 7:27win. This is the issue.
- 7:30So regardless of anybody that comes in right now, they have
- 7:34seen what people before them have done.
- 7:36They are most likely going to do the same thing because you
- 7:40cannot find the system president muhammadu buhari.
- 7:43And the wife always talked about the cabal, the cabal in Abuja,
- 7:47the Kabbalah natural rock and people are saying ìwhat
- 7:50Kabbalah, you know, the president's can't you do
- 7:51something about it. It is not a military regime.
- 7:54You cannot just go and arrest people.
- 7:56You cannot just go and do anything that you want to do.
- 7:59Just because cause you're the president, you still need to
- 8:01surround yourself with certain people that will make that
- 8:06governance to work. But if you put controls in
- 8:10place, this controls are lessee, your ministers.
- 8:15The House of Assembly members, your Senators, your counselors
- 8:18and these people learn is have been dispersed them and they
- 8:22are, they just pocketed everything.
- 8:24They are not paying teachers, they are not paying lecturers.
- 8:26I mean, Nigerian University have been on strike for God.
- 8:29Who knows how long and it's not. Like this money's are not being
- 8:33paid or somebody sitting down somewhere just took the money
- 8:37and swallowed it they will tell you that a snake swallowed
- 8:41money. Monkey, it's money.
- 8:44Tom might devote money. This is not a precedent.
- 8:50This is not a precedent, these are your brothers and sisters
- 8:54that are put in place to make sure that things are working.
- 8:58These are the problem. So, regardless of whether Peter
- 9:01becomes in the issues, wants to, the average Nigeria mindset is
- 9:07to see if the national National Cake is to have a share of that
- 9:13National Cake is. They feel that to steal the
- 9:17government money is their Birthright.
- 9:20This has nothing to do with the president, whether it would, it
- 9:24is Peter will be whether it is tunable.
- 9:28Weather is such a horrible worker, because these people
- 9:31cannot just come in flinging magic wand and then everything
- 9:36magically becomes. Okay, let's even take, for
- 9:39instance. Now, the Labour party with the
- 9:42electron beta will be becomes the president of Nigeria.
- 9:46Who are those people? He's going to surround
- 9:48themselves with all the aapc and PVP members will drop into the,
- 9:53this was what happened in 2015. All the PPP people jump back
- 9:58into a PC and the whole dark cycle continues, if Labour party
- 10:04wins this election, all the whole a PC and PDP members are
- 10:09still going to enjoy Liberal Party.
- 10:11And that continues is the mindset, the mindset.
- 10:16Each individual in Nigeria, that is that needs changing.
- 10:20We just 2023 election. I just want us to think outside
- 10:23the box, I don't want it to be like, okay, it is just a
- 10:27present. All our hope is on the
- 10:29president. It's just like a family where
- 10:33one person is successful and then everybody just relax and
- 10:37say this person is the savior of my life.
- 10:42This is the person I am waiting for help me.
- 10:45If you don't help me, I will die.
- 10:47But that person is not going thinking.
- 10:49Okay, how do I help myself, maybe?
- 10:52Yes, this person. I'm looking up to this person to
- 10:54give me 30 money. Maybe to start a business or to
- 10:58do something that I am hoping on this person.
- 11:01No. But in the meantime, how about
- 11:05me starting? One or two things?
- 11:06So now we're not money. Come in.
- 11:08I can use it to kind of expand what I am already doing pornos,
- 11:13you're waiting for that person. This is the problem of Nigeria.
- 11:18Nigeria is in every family that you turn to Angela is not
- 11:23Nigeria. Nigeria, is individual people.
- 11:26Everybody you see walking on the street in Nigeria, is a problem.
- 11:30These are the Shoes. These are the issues.
- 11:35It's not about the president's. It's not about the vice
- 11:38president, the fuck the Nigerians in that spur are
- 11:42calling in to complain. They are busy clamoring.
- 11:46If you go to YouTube, you see videos of Nigerians and diaspora
- 11:49say shouting, Peter will be Peter be if you ask them, why is
- 11:52the bottom piece of be? They will tell you, they want to
- 11:54come back. Why do you want to come back?
- 11:56You tell you how I pay my taxes about the intensity percent.
- 12:01And I pay like Bill, I pay gasps.
- 12:03I pay TV license, I pay insurance monthly by the end of
- 12:09the day. I don't have anything in my
- 12:10account. Nigeria is not like that.
- 12:12This is what I want to come back.
- 12:15How about putting those things in place?
- 12:19Even in Nigeria. Yes, we still need good
- 12:22governance for that work. But the reason why you want to
- 12:26leave Nigeria is because you want to go to a system that
- 12:30works for you. Having that same mindset and you
- 12:33come to wear, whatever you are going to use to be complaining.
- 12:38You see be complain about taxes. You still complain about the
- 12:42abuse that you're paying, because you feel that everything
- 12:48should be given to you. So, it is a change of mindset
- 12:52that will help our country. It has nothing to do with a PC.
- 12:55Has nothing to do with PDP, he has something to do with paid
- 12:58Labour party, it has nothing to do with active, Till you do or
- 13:02Peter will be, it has nothing to do with these people.
- 13:05It's about each individual each and every one of force.
- 13:10What do it even want change? Do we even want change?
- 13:16If you're getting tax, you say, ah, why I work for this money?
- 13:21Why are you taking it from me? So, it is better for me to watch
- 13:24their National Cake. To.com Soldier, go back, you
- 13:29know, good dry. You know, Google Drive you.
- 13:33So anyway, thank you very much for watching.
- 13:36Today's episode, please like like, like and share.
- 13:38Thank you very much. Bye.
- 13:39Bye.
