Mega Edition: Jeffrey Epstein And His Reinvention After Conviction (8/6/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

0:00
Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Over at Fortune dot com, they have a
0:08
Speaker 1: new article out and in that article, they're diving deep
0:11
Speaker 1: into how Jeffrey Epstein leveraged his friendship and his ties
0:17
Speaker 1: to Bill Gates and the un to help control the
0:20
Speaker 1: women in his orbit. And this is a pretty extensive article,
0:25
Speaker 1: so we're going to do it in a couple of parts.
0:28
Speaker 1: So with that said, I'll keep my winging to a
0:31
Speaker 1: minimum and we'll dive right in. This article was published
0:34
Speaker 1: by Fortune dot Com and the headline how Jeffrey Epstein
0:37
Speaker 1: leveraged a prestigious, un affiliated nonprofit and the Gates Foundation
0:42
Speaker 1: to control women and keep them in his orbit. This
0:46
Speaker 1: article was authored by Jessica Matthews. On September twelfth, twenty fifteen,
0:52
Speaker 1: more than three dozen health experts and diplomats assembled at
0:55
Speaker 1: the Palace the Nations, the United Nations European headquarters in Geneva,
1:01
Speaker 1: for a day long conference on preparing for pandemics. The
1:05
Speaker 1: biobook for the event, hosted by the International Peace Institute
1:09
Speaker 1: and acclaimed think tank affiliated with the United Nations that
1:12
Speaker 1: works to settle and prevent armed conflicts, and was run
1:16
Speaker 1: by one of the key architects of the Oslo Accords,
1:19
Speaker 1: was a who's who of health experts and policymakers. Scheduled
1:23
Speaker 1: attendees and speakers included the Director General of the World
1:26
Speaker 1: Health Organization, president of the Institute of Medicine, the President
1:31
Speaker 1: of the National Academy of Medicine and associate director of
1:34
Speaker 1: the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and a senior
1:38
Speaker 1: executive from the Gates Foundation, the philanthropic institution that at
1:42
Speaker 1: the time made up some of twenty percent of IPI's contributions.
1:47
Speaker 1: So as you can see a very very formidable force,
1:53
Speaker 1: a group that has a lot of sway, a group
1:56
Speaker 1: that has a lot of pull, and a group that's
1:58
Speaker 1: backed by a lot of powerful, rich people. And that
2:03
Speaker 1: was the exact kind of environment where Jeffrey Epstein thrived.
2:08
Speaker 1: Among the attendees that gathered that morning at the palace
2:12
Speaker 1: for the discussion was Feltlana puss A diva who, by
2:16
Speaker 1: her own admission, had no expertise in epidemiology or foreign aid.
2:20
Speaker 1: Puss A diva, a former Russian model who was then
2:23
Speaker 1: thirty one, had been so called assistant to Jeffrey Epstein
2:27
Speaker 1: for about five years. She had shown up to the
2:29
Speaker 1: event wearing a dress Epstein had bought her in Paris
2:33
Speaker 1: and instructed her aware, and that was his ZMO right.
2:37
Speaker 1: He would have these women show up at these conferences,
2:40
Speaker 1: these science fairs, whether they were accompanied by him or not,
2:44
Speaker 1: and the hook would be set. The only question would
2:48
Speaker 1: be who was going to take the bait, And unfortunately,
2:51
Speaker 1: for a lot of these scumbags, they all did. I mean,
2:54
Speaker 1: the number of these people that were in business with
2:56
Speaker 1: Epstein is absurd. The number of people that we taught
3:00
Speaker 1: talk about that should have been caught up in a
3:01
Speaker 1: Rico case absurd. And I'm never going to stop talking
3:05
Speaker 1: about it, because if it was you or me, or
3:08
Speaker 1: anyone you cared about Rico, forget it. Under the prison
3:12
Speaker 1: sending you to Florence, that's how serious they take it usually.
3:18
Speaker 1: I mean, for wire fraud alone, you're looking out what
3:20
Speaker 1: a twenty piece And of course they were committing wire
3:24
Speaker 1: fraud on a regular basis. Never mind the structuring, never
3:27
Speaker 1: mind the immigration fraud. If you don't even believe the trafficking,
3:31
Speaker 1: what about all that other stuff, What about all of
3:34
Speaker 1: the other criminality that was occurring in Jeffrey Epstein's orbit
3:38
Speaker 1: amongst all these people. Does that not matter? Because I
3:41
Speaker 1: assure you it matters to me. In an interview with Fortune,
3:45
Speaker 1: Posadaiva said that Epstein had told her she would be
3:48
Speaker 1: working closely with both the International Peace Institute and the
3:51
Speaker 1: Gates Foundation to orchestrate the whole event. I'll be in
3:54
Speaker 1: the middle of it, helping coordinate the whole project. That's
3:57
Speaker 1: how he positioned it to me. She said, Well, yeah,
4:02
Speaker 1: Epstein's going to sell you rainbows and sunshine, but what
4:04
Speaker 1: he delivers is nothing but a storm, and on paper
4:09
Speaker 1: that seemed true. Terry Rod Larson, who was then CEO
4:13
Speaker 1: of IPI, would go on to sign a personal recommendation
4:16
Speaker 1: letter for a POSA Divas via application, a copy of
4:19
Speaker 1: which emerged in the Epstein files earlier this year, stating
4:23
Speaker 1: that she held an active and lead role coordinating follow
4:26
Speaker 1: up meetings for the event and that without her extraordinary efforts,
4:30
Speaker 1: the fundraising would not have reached the levels it reached.
4:33
Speaker 1: Immigration fraud, that's all it is. That's all it was,
4:36
Speaker 1: that's all it ever will be, And nobody talks about
4:39
Speaker 1: it like it's no big deal. But it's one of
4:40
Speaker 1: the key elements of trafficking. So for all the people
4:43
Speaker 1: out there that don't believe it was trafficking, sit down
4:46
Speaker 1: and shut up already. In fact, why don't you do
4:49
Speaker 1: us all a favor and go talk about the new
4:51
Speaker 1: shiny object aliens. You know, the same people who don't
4:55
Speaker 1: believe the Epstein stuff all of a sudden believe that
4:58
Speaker 1: the aliens or demons and their com here from another dimension.
5:02
Speaker 1: Fuck out of here with all of that you want demons,
5:04
Speaker 1: We're talking about him right here. And this is about
5:06
Speaker 1: what the tenth fifteenth time that there is proof that
5:09
Speaker 1: there was immigration fraud going on that nobody ever cared about,
5:12
Speaker 1: nobody ever investigated, nobody ever went to prison for. How
5:16
Speaker 1: was Epstein able to manipulate that? Who in the government,
5:19
Speaker 1: the State Department was helping him out? I guess we'll
5:23
Speaker 1: never know, right, because we're just gonna move on. Hey,
5:25
Speaker 1: have you heard about the four foot green men that
5:27
Speaker 1: came here from planet Neptar? In hindsight, pos A Diva
5:31
Speaker 1: now sees the IPI job Epstein routed to her as
5:35
Speaker 1: one of the hooks he used to keep me around,
5:37
Speaker 1: yet another promise of career opportunities she could only obtain
5:40
Speaker 1: through him. That ultimately never materialized. Pos A Diva's experience
5:46
Speaker 1: was part of a larger pattern. Yet that's how they
5:48
Speaker 1: controlled things. How many people have to come out and
5:52
Speaker 1: tell you that. How many more people have to come
5:54
Speaker 1: forward and say, yeah, this is what was happening. He
5:56
Speaker 1: would take our passport, they would take our you know,
5:59
Speaker 1: immigration paperwork, and we'd be basically slaves. Epstein introduced IPI
6:06
Speaker 1: to the Gates Foundation in twenty thirteen, closely advising IPI
6:10
Speaker 1: employees on what to say and how to obtain the
6:13
Speaker 1: initial five million dollar donation to IPI, and working beyond
6:16
Speaker 1: the scenes with an advisor to then Microsoft chairman Bill
6:19
Speaker 1: Gates to stimulate interest and speed up the process. Remember
6:24
Speaker 1: when Bill Gates said he had nothing to do with
6:25
Speaker 1: Epstein and that the only kind of contact they had
6:28
Speaker 1: had to do with philanthropy. Now, I know this is
6:31
Speaker 1: going to come as a shock to you, but Bill
6:33
Speaker 1: Gates is a liar. He lied then and he's still
6:35
Speaker 1: lying now. The Gates Foundation would become extraordinarily significant donor
6:43
Speaker 1: relationship for the next three years, with the IRS record
6:46
Speaker 1: showing that donations from the Gates Foundation made up more
6:49
Speaker 1: than twenty percent of IPI's annual donations between twenty thirteen
6:55
Speaker 1: and twenty fifteen. And I'm sure that all of that
6:58
Speaker 1: money was coming from legitis. I'm sure that none of
7:01
Speaker 1: that money came from laundering or human trafficking or insert
7:05
Speaker 1: scam here. And it's wild to me that Bill Gates
7:07
Speaker 1: actually thought that he could get away with it, that
7:10
Speaker 1: he could just you know, rewrite history and try and
7:13
Speaker 1: rebuild and rebrand his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein when the
7:16
Speaker 1: evidence is right here. Epstein would also be involved in
7:20
Speaker 1: gifts totaling nine hundred and fifty thousand dollars from private
7:23
Speaker 1: equity titan Leon Black to IPI. In return, Epstein used
7:27
Speaker 1: leverage he garnered with IPI's leadership to offer jobs or
7:31
Speaker 1: secure US visa recommendation letters for at least four women
7:34
Speaker 1: in his orbit. And I'm sure he was just bringing
7:36
Speaker 1: them over because he's a good guy, right, just wanted
7:39
Speaker 1: to help them out. I'm doing this for the betterment
7:42
Speaker 1: of humanity. I'm just an altruistic guy, and I want
7:45
Speaker 1: to make sure that everybody has a shot. Emails released
7:49
Speaker 1: by the Department of Justice earlier this year, alongside Posadiva
7:53
Speaker 1: and another assistance personal accounts show while Epstein used and
7:56
Speaker 1: leveraged the brands of a respected thing tank and one
8:00
Speaker 1: of the most important philanthropic institutions in the world as
8:03
Speaker 1: instruments to control and traffic women, all while he was
8:07
Speaker 1: already known to be a registered sex offender. Except where
8:10
Speaker 1: otherwise noted mentions of emails, text messages, and documents refer
8:14
Speaker 1: to items released publicly by the DOJ. So nothing's going
8:19
Speaker 1: to happen, unfortunately. But there's ample evidence of a large
8:23
Speaker 1: scale immigration fraud operation, and nobody's ever dug deep into that.
8:29
Speaker 1: Nobody's ever looked into that with the sort of rigor
8:31
Speaker 1: that it deserves, And anytime you talk about it, all
8:35
Speaker 1: you get is a half assed answer, Oh, well, you know,
8:39
Speaker 1: it wasn't a ricocase, so they didn't even look at that. Well,
8:42
Speaker 1: that's part of the big problem, right, that it wasn't
8:44
Speaker 1: a RICO case from the very beginning. How many more
8:46
Speaker 1: elements do we need to see to prove to everybody
8:49
Speaker 1: out there that this was a criminal enterprise. Again, even
8:53
Speaker 1: if you don't believe that Jeffrey Epstein was involved in
8:56
Speaker 1: large scale blackmailing of people, large scale you know, trafficking children,
9:01
Speaker 1: how can you deny the criminality of the empire that
9:04
Speaker 1: he was running, and the fact that people are so
9:06
Speaker 1: willing to overlook that to try and push a narrative
9:08
Speaker 1: that Epstein's a hoax. It's very telling. After his two
9:12
Speaker 1: thousand and eight conviction for soliciting an underage woman for
9:16
Speaker 1: prostitution a child, Epstein began recruiting young looking foreign women
9:20
Speaker 1: over the age of eighteen who were abroad or already
9:23
Speaker 1: within the US. Remember how I told you that he
9:27
Speaker 1: changed it up. This is what they're talking about. Epstein
9:30
Speaker 1: wasn't a dumb person, vile, disgusting, gross, not dumb, not
9:36
Speaker 1: when it comes to this shit. Bro knew what he
9:38
Speaker 1: was doing and he was good at it. But the
9:41
Speaker 1: thing is he couldn't do it alone. He needed help.
9:44
Speaker 1: And all those people, vast majority of them, are still
9:47
Speaker 1: roaming the streets free. Epstein began recruiting them on the
9:51
Speaker 1: promise of jobs, education, and career opportunity, a pattern documented
9:55
Speaker 1: by women, and there are personal accounts in several lawsuits
9:58
Speaker 1: in the years since. Died by suicide, allegedly in a
10:02
Speaker 1: jail cell, often referring to them as his assistants. Epstein
10:06
Speaker 1: helped them to obtain visas and pay for their accommodation, clothing,
10:10
Speaker 1: and education, later demanding gratitude and obedience to his commands
10:15
Speaker 1: and conveying that they owed him for his generosity. If
10:18
Speaker 1: that's not a human trafficking ring, I don't know what is.
10:22
Speaker 1: So can we dispel the myth that Epstein wasn't doing this?
10:26
Speaker 1: He most certainly was, And as much as we've talked
10:29
Speaker 1: about it, the scale is so much larger than we
10:33
Speaker 1: even know. Sometimes he would pay for or demand that
10:38
Speaker 1: they recruit other women. Many of these assistants were from
10:41
Speaker 1: Russia or Eastern Europe, some of them poor and still
10:44
Speaker 1: learning English, and they became dependent on Epstein for visas, housing,
10:48
Speaker 1: and money. Several of the assistants, including Posadaiva and another
10:52
Speaker 1: who shared her personal account with Fortune, say they were
10:55
Speaker 1: repeatedly sexually abused by Epstein during the course of their
10:59
Speaker 1: time in his work. That was part of the job.
11:03
Speaker 1: Oh I'm gonna hook you up, but you got to
11:05
Speaker 1: do X, Y and Z for me and maybe my buddies. Hey,
11:10
Speaker 1: go see leon, Hey, why don't you come over and
11:12
Speaker 1: give so and so a massage? Oh you don't want to, Well, maybe,
11:16
Speaker 1: just maybe I'll lose your immigration paperwork, and then what
11:19
Speaker 1: Epstein had complete control of these women over every decision
11:24
Speaker 1: they made, whatever they did, wherever they went, it was
11:27
Speaker 1: up to Epstein, and all of it was rooted in
11:29
Speaker 1: fear of what Epstein would do if they said no.
11:33
Speaker 1: Epstein's regular engagement with politicians and tech executives, and his
11:37
Speaker 1: affiliation with prominent institutions like the International Peace Institute or
11:41
Speaker 1: the Gates Foundation, legitimized Epstein, according to Posadiva, and made
11:46
Speaker 1: her hesitant to question whether the career opportunities he was
11:49
Speaker 1: offering were real or not. That certainly played a part.
11:53
Speaker 1: And when we talk about refurbishing and building Epstein's reputation up,
11:57
Speaker 1: this is what I mean. If all these quote unquote
12:01
Speaker 1: legitimate people are around them, accepting them and being part
12:05
Speaker 1: of his little crew, then some foreign girl from Russia
12:09
Speaker 1: or insert Eastern European country here isn't going to know
12:12
Speaker 1: any better what we were gonna blame her. It was normalized,
12:16
Speaker 1: she was groomed, she was brought over, and this is
12:19
Speaker 1: supposedly the way that life goes if you're one of
12:21
Speaker 1: Epstein's people. Meanwhile, what was happening issue was kept in
12:26
Speaker 1: human captivity. And I know people don't want us hear it,
12:29
Speaker 1: but it's the truth. Being able to meet tech executives
12:34
Speaker 1: or prime ministers when you come from a small country
12:37
Speaker 1: or from Russia or Ukraine, it changes your perspective. She says.
12:41
Speaker 1: If someone like this comes to Epstein's house, maybe it's
12:44
Speaker 1: me who doesn't understand something here. And that's what it
12:47
Speaker 1: comes down to. When it's normalized by everybody around you,
12:50
Speaker 1: then it's normal. Another former assistant, who Fortune is referring
12:55
Speaker 1: to as Marna, in an effort to protect her identity
12:57
Speaker 1: from becoming known, pulled Fortune in an interview that Epstein's
13:01
Speaker 1: proximity to important people and witnessing him leverage those relationships
13:05
Speaker 1: as if they owed him something, made the threats he
13:08
Speaker 1: made or the stories he told all feel equally true.
13:12
Speaker 1: For a foreign woman in her twenties with limited English,
13:15
Speaker 1: that framing was very powerful. She said it made him
13:18
Speaker 1: seem untouchable. In response to the comment for this story,
13:23
Speaker 1: an IPI spokesperson said in a statement that the think
13:26
Speaker 1: tank continues to be very troubled by the documents released
13:29
Speaker 1: recently by the US Department of Justice relating to Jeffrey Epstein,
13:34
Speaker 1: and that in joint with those around the world who
13:37
Speaker 1: have expressed solidarity with the survivors of Epstein's wrongdoing. Yeah,
13:41
Speaker 1: the crimes and wrongdoings that you helped perpetuate. That's what
13:45
Speaker 1: you're talking about, because that's what happened. People like you
13:49
Speaker 1: giving Jeffrey Epstein credibility and this veneer of armour that
13:53
Speaker 1: led directly to Epstein doing what he did for so long.
13:57
Speaker 1: IPI is aware of the connection that once existed between
14:00
Speaker 1: Epstein and IPI's former president, Terry Rod Larson, a connection
14:04
Speaker 1: IPI acknowledged in twenty twenty when it announced mister Larson's resignation.
14:10
Speaker 1: IPI no longer has contact with mister Larson or his
14:13
Speaker 1: executive staff, the statement said. The Gates Foundation said in
14:17
Speaker 1: a statement that the harm Epstein inflicted on women and
14:20
Speaker 1: girls was horrific and no one should ever have to
14:23
Speaker 1: experience what they did. It's deeply troubling. Without our knowledge,
14:27
Speaker 1: Epstein used the Gates Foundation's name the further his agenda.
14:31
Speaker 1: What did you think was going to happen? You didn't
14:34
Speaker 1: come into this blind. This man was already a convicted
14:37
Speaker 1: sex offender. Why are you at his house? Why are
14:41
Speaker 1: you looking for charity from him? Why are you doing
14:43
Speaker 1: anything with him? There's been no evidence suggesting that Rod
14:48
Speaker 1: Larson was personally involved in abusing any women himself, nor
14:52
Speaker 1: that he was aware that Epstein was abusing the women
14:54
Speaker 1: he helped procure jobs and visas. Four Okay, sure if
14:58
Speaker 1: you say so, law firm representing Rod Larson pointed Fortune
15:02
Speaker 1: to statements it's issued in recent weeks on Rod Larson's behalf,
15:07
Speaker 1: including from his lawyer John Christian Elden, who said earlier
15:10
Speaker 1: this year that Rod Larson has previously expressed regret for
15:14
Speaker 1: his association with Epstein and has clearly distanced himself from
15:18
Speaker 1: Epstein's actions. He has expressed deep sympathy for those affected
15:22
Speaker 1: and acknowledges that, in hindsight, he should have exercised greater caution.
15:26
Speaker 1: A representative for Black did not respond to Fortune's requests
15:30
Speaker 1: for comment. All right, folks, we're gonna wrap up episode
15:33
Speaker 1: one right here, and in the next episode, we're gonna
15:36
Speaker 1: pick up where we left off. All the information that
15:39
Speaker 1: goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
15:43
Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
15:45
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to pick up
15:48
Speaker 1: where we left off with a Fortune article talking about
15:52
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, the un and Bill Gates once again. This
15:57
Speaker 1: article was authored by Jessica Matt. It was Jeffrey Epstein
16:02
Speaker 1: who first introduced the Gates Foundation and IPI. Epstein VIA's
16:06
Speaker 1: friendship with its president. Rod Larson had already been tied
16:10
Speaker 1: to IPI for a few years. By twenty eleven, Rod
16:13
Speaker 1: Larson was visiting Epstein's house in New York City and
16:16
Speaker 1: had stayed in his home in Paris and visited the island.
16:20
Speaker 1: In twenty thirteen, he personally borrowed one hundred and thirty
16:23
Speaker 1: thousand from Epstein, as was first reported by the investigative
16:27
Speaker 1: outlet DN and later confirmed in DOJ emails. Emails released
16:33
Speaker 1: earlier this year by the Department of Justice showed the
16:36
Speaker 1: extent to which the relationship was professionally intertwined. Yeah, it
16:41
Speaker 1: was a very deep relationship. Now. I know Terry Larson
16:46
Speaker 1: wants to lie here and say that that's not true,
16:49
Speaker 1: but we have the evidence to see for ourselves, and
16:52
Speaker 1: nobody's writing those kinds of emails back and forth if
16:55
Speaker 1: they're not buddies. Rod Larson regul Lee turned to Epstein
17:01
Speaker 1: for fundraising advice and sent them private IPI documents or
17:05
Speaker 1: exchanges to review. Several other IPI employees, including the director
17:09
Speaker 1: of its Vienna office, corresponded with Epstein via email. Epstein
17:14
Speaker 1: sponsored a fellowship with IPI in twenty twelve, and an
17:18
Speaker 1: email shows that IPI was trying to arrange payment to
17:21
Speaker 1: Epstein for serving on IPI's Mongolian Presidential Advisory Board, where
17:27
Speaker 1: Epstein and a group of others gave direct advice to
17:29
Speaker 1: the then Mongolian president. I can't even pronounce this guy's name,
17:34
Speaker 1: something something Elba Gorge, no idea, but like, what's Epstein
17:39
Speaker 1: doing in Mongolia? I thought he was just a loan predator,
17:43
Speaker 1: just a guy with some messed up proclivities who you know,
17:46
Speaker 1: might have targeted a couple of people, but that's it. Meanwhile,
17:50
Speaker 1: this m effort is in the middle of all kinds
17:52
Speaker 1: of crazy shit, whether it's the promised software, whether it's Africa,
17:56
Speaker 1: whether it's Mongolia, whether it's Afghanistan. There's no so far
18:00
Speaker 1: flung province that Epstein wasn't interested in. By the time
18:04
Speaker 1: that Epstein introduced Bill Gates to IPI senior leadership in
18:08
Speaker 1: March of twenty thirteen, around the time of a meeting
18:11
Speaker 1: at the residence of then Nobel Committee chair for Burn Jaglind.
18:15
Speaker 1: Epstein had already been working behind the scenes to secure
18:18
Speaker 1: the donation, and he'd also been working to try and
18:20
Speaker 1: get Bill Gates that Nobel Peace Prize. Remember, that's what
18:24
Speaker 1: Bill Gates wanted, That's what he was chasing, and he
18:27
Speaker 1: was trying to use Epstein to get there. He had
18:30
Speaker 1: been corresponding with Boris Nikolch, Bill gates then advisor and
18:34
Speaker 1: someone who regularly interfaced with Epstein about IPI, sending him
18:38
Speaker 1: information about the institute and its work to eradicate polio
18:42
Speaker 1: for Nicolch to relate to Gates at the end of
18:45
Speaker 1: twenty twelve email show. Over the next several months, Epstein
18:49
Speaker 1: would work meticulously reviewing and editing emails to Gates Foundation
18:54
Speaker 1: employees and pushing Nickeolch about the donation. I thought he
18:59
Speaker 1: wasn't that close to them. Isn't that what Nikolitch told us? Meanwhile,
19:04
Speaker 1: Nikolich was one of the backups when it comes to
19:06
Speaker 1: executors for Epstein's will. And Nikolich is another dude that's
19:10
Speaker 1: out here talking about Oh, I hardly knew the guy.
19:12
Speaker 1: You're not going to be made the executor of a
19:14
Speaker 1: will of somebody that doesn't know you. Over the next
19:18
Speaker 1: several months, Epstein would work meticulously reviewing and editing emails
19:22
Speaker 1: to Gates Foundation employees and pushing Nikolich about the donation.
19:26
Speaker 1: In a statement to Fortune, a spokesperson for Nickolach said
19:30
Speaker 1: as the email showed discussions between IPI and the foundation
19:34
Speaker 1: focused on expanding polio vaccine access in underserved areas. Declining
19:39
Speaker 1: to comment further, Bill approved the five million. Epstein wrote
19:43
Speaker 1: to the head of IPI's Vienna office when giving her
19:46
Speaker 1: advice about an upcoming conversation with the foundation, ask them
19:50
Speaker 1: if they read your analysis of the situation. He said
19:54
Speaker 1: Epstein's efforts were fruitful. In twenty thirteen, the Gates Foundation
19:59
Speaker 1: committed five million dollars to IPI to support polio eradication,
20:03
Speaker 1: and Epstein himself emailed Nikolicch the wiring instructions for the money. Oh,
20:08
Speaker 1: I'm sure it all went to polio. I'm sure nobody
20:11
Speaker 1: patted their pockets. Do you really think Jeffrey Epstein didn't
20:15
Speaker 1: get pieced off? Of all people? You already know that
20:18
Speaker 1: Epstein made some money on that deal. It wouldn't stop there.
20:23
Speaker 1: Over the next seven years, between twenty thirteen and twenty twenty,
20:27
Speaker 1: the Gates Foundation donated more than eight and a half
20:30
Speaker 1: million to IPI. Public records from the foundation show and
20:34
Speaker 1: I'm sure all of it's on the up and up right.
20:35
Speaker 1: I'm sure none of it came from ill gotten gains,
20:38
Speaker 1: and I'm sure all of it was routed exactly where
20:41
Speaker 1: it was supposed to go. Oh wait, that didn't happen,
20:43
Speaker 1: got it at the onset? Emails released by the Department
20:48
Speaker 1: of Justice showed that Nikolitch was trying to speed up
20:50
Speaker 1: the grant making process, which he said in an email
20:53
Speaker 1: typically took six to nine months. We're trying to accelerate,
20:56
Speaker 1: he wrote in an email to Abstein and the head
20:58
Speaker 1: of IPI is Vienna All in August of twenty thirteen.
21:02
Speaker 1: Within one month of that email, several IPI staffers flew
21:06
Speaker 1: out to Seattle to meet with Gates Foundation, and in
21:10
Speaker 1: October the five million grant was awarded and two and
21:13
Speaker 1: a half million was wired to IPI. And boy, I
21:16
Speaker 1: wonder where it went from there? Do you really think
21:18
Speaker 1: it went to people who needed polio vaccines in Africa
21:21
Speaker 1: or whatever? Highly doubt that at least one employee of
21:25
Speaker 1: the Gates Foundation was surprised by the speed with which
21:28
Speaker 1: the Foundation moved forward with the IPI. A former employee
21:32
Speaker 1: at the Foundation at the time who worked on the
21:34
Speaker 1: organization's polio eradication strategy recalls running into someone from IPI
21:39
Speaker 1: approximately a month after they first heard about the talks
21:43
Speaker 1: and was surprised to learn that the person was already
21:46
Speaker 1: laying the groundwork for it. I thought it was rather
21:49
Speaker 1: quick for a higher level grant. What employees at the
21:53
Speaker 1: Foundation did not know is that Epstein had been using
21:56
Speaker 1: multiple channels and personal connections over several years to try
22:00
Speaker 1: to influence Bill Gates. As Fortune has detailed in earlier reporting,
22:05
Speaker 1: Epstein would get involved lining up another donor to IPI
22:08
Speaker 1: two In twenty fourteen, the private equity scion Leon Black
22:13
Speaker 1: made two personal donations totaling nine hundred and fifty thousand
22:17
Speaker 1: dollars to the think tank donations. Epstein was corresponding and
22:20
Speaker 1: asking about email show and the recent things move so
22:24
Speaker 1: quickly is because it's not on the up and up.
22:28
Speaker 1: Everything's decided and everything that comes after is performative. As
22:32
Speaker 1: it turns out, there would be some favors Epstein would
22:34
Speaker 1: want from IPI in return for his generosity. What if
22:38
Speaker 1: I told you about Epstein. The guy didn't do things
22:41
Speaker 1: out of the kindness of his heart. He did it
22:43
Speaker 1: because he thought he could benefit. And when it comes
22:45
Speaker 1: to the IPI, United Nations or anywhere else, that certainly
22:49
Speaker 1: was the case. In August of twenty eighteen, Marna, the
22:54
Speaker 1: foreign assistant in her twenties at the time, texted Epstein
22:57
Speaker 1: that she had heard back from the Swiss embassy in
22:59
Speaker 1: Washington as she was trying to secure her student visa,
23:02
Speaker 1: her papers had not been approved. Within fifteen minutes, Epstein
23:07
Speaker 1: had message Rod Larson, who had previously agreed to help
23:10
Speaker 1: with the visa. Rod Larson responded to Epstein within five minutes,
23:15
Speaker 1: saying he would reach out to an ambassador and ask
23:17
Speaker 1: him to speak to the Console General. Soon after Epstein
23:21
Speaker 1: and rod Larson had apparently come up with a solution,
23:24
Speaker 1: Epstein texted Marna. You've been working for International Peace Institute
23:28
Speaker 1: Terry Larson, he wrote. Marna, seemingly confused, asked if the
23:32
Speaker 1: message was meant to her. Yes, if you get a call,
23:35
Speaker 1: that's the story. You need to tell Immigration fraud just
23:40
Speaker 1: like I told you now there's proof of it and
23:43
Speaker 1: just another clue that we're on the right track. Once
23:46
Speaker 1: we sniff something out around these parts, chances are it's true.
23:50
Speaker 1: And when it comes to immigration fraud, I don't know
23:52
Speaker 1: how anyone could deny that. Other women, however, had more
23:57
Speaker 1: direct connections to IPI, while in exactame tale of women
24:00
Speaker 1: in Epstein's orbit who worked for IPI couldnt be learned.
24:04
Speaker 1: Fortune confirmed two of Epstein's assistants, including Posadiva, held roles
24:09
Speaker 1: as staff at IPI, and additional email exchanges reviewed by
24:13
Speaker 1: Fortune showed that Epstein either floated IPI as a potential
24:17
Speaker 1: career opportunity or a means to secure a VIASA application
24:20
Speaker 1: for at least two More so, who was approving all
24:22
Speaker 1: of it and whoever approved it? Those are the people
24:26
Speaker 1: that need to be looked at, who signed it and why.
24:30
Speaker 1: Epstein's numerous attempts to leverage the connection he had secured
24:34
Speaker 1: for Rod Larsen's organization would ultimately capture the attention of authorities.
24:39
Speaker 1: In December of twenty nineteen, liaison prosecutor from the Norwegian
24:43
Speaker 1: Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a memo to the US
24:46
Speaker 1: Department of Justice. According to an email exchange within the files.
24:51
Speaker 1: This was several months after Epstein had died by suicide,
24:54
Speaker 1: allegedly in New York after being arrested by the Department
24:58
Speaker 1: of Justice. The memo included testimony from an IPI employee
25:02
Speaker 1: saying that the individual had been asked on more than
25:05
Speaker 1: one occasion to attend a very short term trainees from
25:08
Speaker 1: Eastern Europe during their time working at IPI between twenty
25:12
Speaker 1: fourteen to twenty sixteen. These trainees were all young, beautiful
25:17
Speaker 1: females and without the education required to work at the
25:20
Speaker 1: think tank, the memo read, adding that some of the
25:23
Speaker 1: women took pictures at the un that were later sent
25:26
Speaker 1: to Epstein. Look, I think we can put the debate
25:28
Speaker 1: to bed when it comes to Epstein being a trafficker
25:32
Speaker 1: or not. It's obvious what he was doing. Now, if
25:35
Speaker 1: you want to discuss the scale, you want to discuss
25:38
Speaker 1: just how large ranging it was. Cool, we can discuss that,
25:43
Speaker 1: but you can't show up to the conversation without admitting
25:46
Speaker 1: the facts. And the facts are Jeffrey Epstein and his
25:49
Speaker 1: buddies over at IPI we're trafficking these girls. Well incorporated
25:55
Speaker 1: into our investigation and or follow up as appropriate, the
25:58
Speaker 1: Assistant US Attorney General for the Southern District of New
26:01
Speaker 1: York wrote in a response to receiving the information from
26:05
Speaker 1: the Department of Justice liaison prosecutor, who passed it along.
26:09
Speaker 1: In a January twenty fourteen exchange with a woman whose
26:12
Speaker 1: name is redacted in the records, apart from her initial
26:15
Speaker 1: m Epstein offered up work at IPI as one of
26:19
Speaker 1: his many ideas he had for her. Also Peace Institute
26:23
Speaker 1: in Vienna sounds like a great idea, and responded to Epstein,
26:26
Speaker 1: please tell me more details. I still received my options
26:30
Speaker 1: from my booker, but modeling is not my goal anymore.
26:33
Speaker 1: Thank you for the great offers and aid. Oh yeah,
26:36
Speaker 1: I'm sure it was a great offer and great aid.
26:38
Speaker 1: What he's really doing is hustling this girl to get
26:40
Speaker 1: her to do what he wants her to do. Posidiva
26:45
Speaker 1: had a degree from the Moscow State Institute of International
26:48
Speaker 1: Relations and had been modeling for a European fashion brand
26:51
Speaker 1: before meeting Epstein, who had helped her secure US visa
26:55
Speaker 1: and secure our housing. As The Wall Street Journal first reported,
26:59
Speaker 1: pos Adiva would work at IPI on and off between
27:03
Speaker 1: twenty twelve and twenty sixteen. She recalls emails she shared
27:07
Speaker 1: with Fortune show notes she took from a meeting she
27:11
Speaker 1: sat in with Iserbaijan President Ilam Aliev, as well as
27:16
Speaker 1: attending a trip to Kazakastan. Posadiva was also included in
27:21
Speaker 1: logistical correspondence regarding a trip that former US Treasury Secretary
27:25
Speaker 1: Larry Summers took on behalf of IPI. I felt like
27:29
Speaker 1: I was so out of place, she told Fortune about
27:32
Speaker 1: her time attending the pandemics conference. People were making comments
27:35
Speaker 1: that I've looked very young and yo. Knowing everything we
27:38
Speaker 1: know about these people, are you really comfortable that they're
27:41
Speaker 1: the ones that are holding pandemic conferences? Pretty terrifying if
27:46
Speaker 1: you ask me. A separate Russian model, an Epstein assistant
27:50
Speaker 1: named Ada, whose real name Fortune is withholding in an
27:53
Speaker 1: effort to protect her privacy, also got a job as
27:56
Speaker 1: a result of the Epstein IPI connection. She worked at
27:59
Speaker 1: IPI as an intern, a full time employee in a
28:02
Speaker 1: newly created external relations assistant position, then a volunteer due
28:07
Speaker 1: to her VISA status for more than two years. According
28:10
Speaker 1: to the woman's offer letters of employment, as well as
28:12
Speaker 1: an email to Rod Larson from an IPI employee that
28:16
Speaker 1: outlined the woman's role and how much she had cost
28:18
Speaker 1: IPI during her time at the organization. Total expense to
28:23
Speaker 1: IPI between October twenty sixteen and July twenty eighteen was
28:27
Speaker 1: an estimated seventy one thousand dollars, the employee wrote to
28:31
Speaker 1: Rod Larson. In February of twenty nineteen. Epstein confirmed in
28:35
Speaker 1: an email exchange with Ada that he was bankrolling at
28:38
Speaker 1: his salary at IPI himself. Didn't you give them one
28:40
Speaker 1: hundred k form my full time employment at asked Epstein
28:44
Speaker 1: in January of twenty eighteen. You're right, he responded. During
28:48
Speaker 1: her time at ipl Ada gave Epstein updates about her
28:51
Speaker 1: work at the Thing Tank and alerted them when she
28:54
Speaker 1: had co published an article about water conservancy on IPI's site.
29:00
Speaker 1: First piece on water published at a enthusiastically email to
29:04
Speaker 1: Ebstein in April of that year. She would go on
29:06
Speaker 1: to co byline another Q and A as well. In
29:09
Speaker 1: one exchange, Epstein even floated a job directly at the
29:12
Speaker 1: Gates Foundation. You could work for the Human Rights Commission
29:15
Speaker 1: in Strausburg, Gates Foundation in Ivory Coast, etc. He wrote
29:19
Speaker 1: in an email in January, twenty fourteen about a potential
29:23
Speaker 1: summer internship. IPI proved to be a particularly alluring opportunity
29:28
Speaker 1: to some of his assistants due to its affiliation with
29:31
Speaker 1: high profile institutions like the United Nations and the Gates Foundation.
29:36
Speaker 1: Those are some of the most respected international organizations in
29:39
Speaker 1: the philanthropic world, Pulsadiva said. Puss Adiva shared an email
29:43
Speaker 1: with Fortune that she had sent to her mother in
29:46
Speaker 1: twenty twelve, who was still in Russia, where she excitedly
29:49
Speaker 1: told her that Epstein had relayed that conversations with IPI
29:53
Speaker 1: seemed to be moving forward. Epstein dangled opportunities to perpetuate
29:57
Speaker 1: sexual abuse and recruit more women into the full The
30:00
Speaker 1: former assistant, Marna explains, Epstein would find something each of
30:04
Speaker 1: us wanted, something appealing, and use it as leverage. Sometimes
30:08
Speaker 1: he would actually deliver an internship at IPI, or a
30:11
Speaker 1: semester or a course at a good school, and whenever
30:14
Speaker 1: he did this for someone, he made sure to brag
30:16
Speaker 1: about it to everyone else. She said. He would then
30:19
Speaker 1: use the promise of providing something similar the mirage of
30:23
Speaker 1: it to continue the abuse, to keep the women tethered
30:26
Speaker 1: to them, and to pressure them into recruiting others. Wait
30:29
Speaker 1: a minute, I didn't think that happened. I thought this
30:31
Speaker 1: was just a lone wolf. Oh wait, it's not that
30:34
Speaker 1: such established institutions could end up so intertwined with the
30:37
Speaker 1: sex offender. Is now puzzling insiders who are never aware
30:41
Speaker 1: of the organization they worked for had any ties to
30:43
Speaker 1: Epstein until earlier this year. Oh give me a break.
30:47
Speaker 1: I've been talking about the IPI and the Gates Foundation
30:49
Speaker 1: and Epstein for years. Have a clue about Epstein, says
30:52
Speaker 1: the former employee at the Gates Foundation, who says they
30:55
Speaker 1: were shocked to learn that Epstein had been involved in
30:58
Speaker 1: the IPI grant and he corresponded with Gates. Since the
31:03
Speaker 1: latest batch of the Epstein files, Bill Gates issued an
31:05
Speaker 1: apology to foundation staff sharing a town hall in February
31:09
Speaker 1: over his personal correspondence and interactions with Epstein and the
31:13
Speaker 1: reputational risk it has posed on the Foundation's work, As
31:16
Speaker 1: first reported by The Wall Street Journal in March, the
31:20
Speaker 1: Foundation commissioned an external review to assess its past engagement
31:24
Speaker 1: with Epstein and to review its current policy for vetting
31:28
Speaker 1: and developing new philanthropic partnerships. That review is under way
31:33
Speaker 1: and we expect the board and management will receive an
31:36
Speaker 1: update this summer, the foundation wrote in a statement that
31:38
Speaker 1: was published in April to a little too late, and
31:42
Speaker 1: if I was anybody who was abused by Epstein and
31:45
Speaker 1: any of these institutions had any part in it, I'd
31:48
Speaker 1: sue them. Rob Larson resigned as president and CEO of
31:53
Speaker 1: IPI in twenty twenty, the same month that information of
31:57
Speaker 1: his ties to Epstein was first reported by the investmenttive
32:00
Speaker 1: outlet DN. In the week since the latest release of
32:04
Speaker 1: the DOJ documents from the Epstein files, Rod Larson's wife,
32:08
Speaker 1: Mona Jewel, resigned as Norway's ambassador to Jordan and Iraq,
32:12
Speaker 1: and Norwegian authorities of open corruption investigations into the two
32:16
Speaker 1: of them. Well, yeah, they were obviously corrupt. In statements,
32:20
Speaker 1: both individuals have denied the charges. Their son, Edward Jewel
32:24
Speaker 1: Rod Larson, whom Epstein mentored and left five million dollars
32:28
Speaker 1: in his will, died by suicide in April. I'm not
32:31
Speaker 1: going to really talk on that too much because I
32:34
Speaker 1: don't know enough about it, and I'm not going to
32:38
Speaker 1: dive into a topic like somebody taking their own life
32:41
Speaker 1: and say it's all about Epstein when I don't know,
32:44
Speaker 1: But what I will say is this, if anybody out
32:46
Speaker 1: there is contemplating doing that, there's options. Man, reach out,
32:51
Speaker 1: talk to somebody, send an email, call somebody, whatever it
32:54
Speaker 1: might be. You're not alone out there, and there's people
32:58
Speaker 1: out there that actually care about you. I know it's
33:00
Speaker 1: hard to believe, but there are people out there that care,
33:04
Speaker 1: and the world's a better place with all of you
33:06
Speaker 1: in it. The lawyer representing Rod Larson, John Christian Elden,
33:10
Speaker 1: said in a statement earlier this year, that Rod Larson
33:13
Speaker 1: is currently seriously ill and has recently suffered multiple strokes
33:17
Speaker 1: and is significantly cognitively impaired. This causes major difficulties for
33:22
Speaker 1: him in expressing himself, both in writing and orally, and
33:25
Speaker 1: it also complicates the legal team's work and establishing the facts.
33:28
Speaker 1: Elden wrote, I asked for calm and human consideration towards
33:32
Speaker 1: Rod Larson and his family at this time. YO. Look,
33:35
Speaker 1: I'm not gonna pile on, but there's questions that need
33:38
Speaker 1: to be answered, and I feel sorry for Rod Larson.
33:42
Speaker 1: You know, his kid doing what he did and his
33:44
Speaker 1: own health troubles, but that doesn't absolve you of the
33:48
Speaker 1: role that you played in helping Jeffrey Epstein spread his madness.
33:55
Speaker 1: At the IPI, there has been a reckoning over its
33:57
Speaker 1: ties to Epstein for several years now. After Rod Larson's resignation,
34:02
Speaker 1: the subsequent acting chief executive of the institute moved swiftly
34:05
Speaker 1: to address financial ties to Epstein that had begun to surface.
34:09
Speaker 1: The board commissioned an internal forensic audit and made those
34:12
Speaker 1: results public, But the audit focused squarely on the financial
34:16
Speaker 1: trail between Epstein and the think tank. It never mentioned
34:20
Speaker 1: that it was Epstein himself who had brokeered one of
34:22
Speaker 1: the institute's most important grannar relationships, and the IPI said
34:27
Speaker 1: that its review had found no evidence of Epstein deriving
34:30
Speaker 1: any personal benefit from IPI in exchange for his donations. Oh,
34:34
Speaker 1: I am sure he just did it for kicks, right,
34:38
Speaker 1: That's exactly who Epstein was. It didn't acknowledge that Rob
34:42
Speaker 1: Larson had helped secure visas for women in Epstein's orbit,
34:45
Speaker 1: nor that Epstein had placed women who work for him
34:48
Speaker 1: directly on the IPI payroll, and that some of its
34:52
Speaker 1: events or trips for those women, such as Posadiva, details
34:57
Speaker 1: of their presence at IPI were only just coming to light.
35:01
Speaker 1: Posit Diva says that since she has forgiven Rod Larson
35:04
Speaker 1: for his role, she went on to co found a
35:06
Speaker 1: venture capital fundraising platform and says she is proud of
35:09
Speaker 1: her current career, but she says that the IPI job,
35:12
Speaker 1: well impressive on paper, didn't help her in that effort.
35:15
Speaker 1: It was primarily used by Epstein to entice her to
35:17
Speaker 1: stay put. Despite Epstein's promises, pos Adiva obtained no real experience, work,
35:24
Speaker 1: or connections to start a meaningful career. She says. Indeed,
35:27
Speaker 1: the gaps in her resume seemed to widen the longer
35:30
Speaker 1: she stayed with him, and she felt trapped. I didn't
35:33
Speaker 1: see a way out for myself. And look, folks, I
35:36
Speaker 1: think that story is pretty common when it comes to
35:39
Speaker 1: Epstein and how he was running this hustle. But now
35:42
Speaker 1: we have people coming forward and telling you exactly how
35:45
Speaker 1: it went down and that Jeffrey Epstein was indeed trafficking women.
35:49
Speaker 1: And in a story that's full of doubt, there's no
35:52
Speaker 1: doubt about that. All the information that goes with this
35:56
Speaker 1: episode can be found in the description. Box Up, everyone,
36:00
Speaker 1: and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. When we talk
36:05
Speaker 1: about Jeffrey Epstein being a patron of science and being
36:10
Speaker 1: somebody who donated to a lot of these universities, we
36:14
Speaker 1: have to talk about Harvard. Now. Jeffrey Epstein donated a
36:17
Speaker 1: ton of money to the genetics research department over at Harvard.
36:22
Speaker 1: And because he was such a big donor, all of
36:25
Speaker 1: the people who he was associating with and all of
36:28
Speaker 1: the people he was donating to, they all knew that
36:30
Speaker 1: he was a sex offender. Yet they continued to take
36:32
Speaker 1: his money, they continued to meet with them, and they
36:35
Speaker 1: continue to accept his hospitality. Then when called out on it,
36:40
Speaker 1: all of them had the same excuse, right, the same denials. Oh,
36:44
Speaker 1: we had no idea what he was. All we were
36:47
Speaker 1: doing was trying to get donations for our department. Well,
36:50
Speaker 1: here's the reality. There's other people out there where you
36:53
Speaker 1: could have gotten those donations. All of you people chose
36:57
Speaker 1: to have a relationship with this dude, even after he
37:00
Speaker 1: was a convicted sex offender. So you have no one
37:04
Speaker 1: to blame but yourself when you find yourself the target
37:07
Speaker 1: in one of these episodes or one of these articles.
37:12
Speaker 1: Here's an idea. Don't hang out with people like Jeffrey
37:15
Speaker 1: Epstein if you don't want to deal with the blowback.
37:18
Speaker 1: Today's article is from NBC News and the headline Harvard
37:23
Speaker 1: science professors kept meeting with donor Jeffrey Epstein despite his
37:27
Speaker 1: offenders status. This article was originally posted on July twelfth,
37:32
Speaker 1: of twenty nineteen. The author of this article is Laura Strickler.
37:39
Speaker 1: Disgraced Hedge Fund manager Jeffrey Epstein was attending on campus
37:44
Speaker 1: meetings as recently as twenty fourteen with professors at Harvard University,
37:50
Speaker 1: a school he's supported with at least one multimillion dollar donation,
37:55
Speaker 1: even though the registered sex offenders ties to the school
37:58
Speaker 1: had already raised question, you see, that's what it's all
38:01
Speaker 1: about for these people. It's all about the money, right,
38:04
Speaker 1: How can you help me move my project forward? What
38:09
Speaker 1: everybody seemed to forget throughout this whole entire escapade was
38:13
Speaker 1: all of the survivors that were left in the wake here.
38:16
Speaker 1: What do you think they thought when they would look
38:18
Speaker 1: at the news and see that these donations were being made,
38:21
Speaker 1: or that Jeffrey Epstein was at this campus or that campus.
38:25
Speaker 1: Do you think that that made them feel good or
38:28
Speaker 1: that they can come forward and rat this dude out
38:31
Speaker 1: without any sort of blowback, of course, not so it
38:34
Speaker 1: all played a part in enabling this dude's abuse. For
38:37
Speaker 1: all of these years. Epstein, who donated six and a
38:41
Speaker 1: half million dollars the Harvard's Program for Evolutionary Dynamics in
38:45
Speaker 1: two thousand and three, had phone calls, meetings, and meals
38:49
Speaker 1: with members of the Harvard faculty at least six times
38:52
Speaker 1: in twenty fourteen, according to the online personal calendar of
38:57
Speaker 1: doctor George Church, a renowned geneticis who holds professorships at Harvard,
39:03
Speaker 1: Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Now
39:07
Speaker 1: we're talking about some serious science, right, Geneticists were going
39:11
Speaker 1: in there, and we're talking about gene therapy, changing genes out,
39:14
Speaker 1: transhumanism and all the rest of the weird shit that
39:16
Speaker 1: these people are into. Now, look, I'm not saying there's
39:19
Speaker 1: no place for it and science there most certainly is.
39:22
Speaker 1: But I have some concerns when Jeffrey Epstein is so
39:25
Speaker 1: interested in it, What was he trying to do? Why
39:28
Speaker 1: was he so interested in this portion of science, and
39:31
Speaker 1: what was he doing with information he might have been
39:34
Speaker 1: learning about these projects. On April twenty second, Epstein met
39:40
Speaker 1: with Church at the Harvard Medical Schools Genetics Department building.
39:44
Speaker 1: According to the calendar, The two had a phone call
39:47
Speaker 1: the next day. He had lunch with Church on June
39:50
Speaker 1: twenty first, according to the calendar. The entry for the
39:54
Speaker 1: note also includes the notation Martin Nowak's Institute. So all
39:59
Speaker 1: of these people are people we have talked about several
40:02
Speaker 1: several times already here on the podcast, and as we
40:05
Speaker 1: continue to make our way through some of the older,
40:09
Speaker 1: more important stories here, this one was certainly at the
40:12
Speaker 1: top of the pile because it just shows you how
40:14
Speaker 1: deep the rot went. It wasn't just business leaders, it
40:18
Speaker 1: wasn't just politicians, It was all of these scientists as well.
40:21
Speaker 1: So for me, being so cynical, I asked myself, why
40:25
Speaker 1: would he surround himself with all of these scientists. What
40:27
Speaker 1: was he hoping to gain? And what was he doing
40:30
Speaker 1: with the information that he was learning from these scientists.
40:34
Speaker 1: Was he just sitting on it or was he preparing
40:36
Speaker 1: it and selling it off to the highest bidder? Because
40:39
Speaker 1: we know he had no loyalties, wasn't It wasn't like
40:42
Speaker 1: he was loyal to America or anyone but himself, so
40:47
Speaker 1: he would sell whatever he had, is my guest, to
40:50
Speaker 1: the highest bidder. And what other reason would you be
40:54
Speaker 1: collecting all of this, compromount all of this information if
40:57
Speaker 1: it wasn't to sell it at some point or to
41:00
Speaker 1: use it against the people who you collected it from.
41:04
Speaker 1: So Epstein was on some other shit. And my question
41:07
Speaker 1: has always been, with these scientists, what else was going on?
41:15
Speaker 1: On April twenty second, Epstein met with Church at the
41:18
Speaker 1: Harvard Medical School's Genetic Department building. According to the calendar.
41:22
Speaker 1: The two had a phone call the next day. He
41:24
Speaker 1: had lunch with Church on June twenty first, according to
41:27
Speaker 1: the calendar. The entry for the note also includes the
41:30
Speaker 1: notation Martin Noak's institute. Noak, a Harvard professor of biology
41:35
Speaker 1: and mathematics, is the director of the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics,
41:40
Speaker 1: the project to which Epstein donated. So again, you can't
41:44
Speaker 1: get away from that. If you're a George Church and
41:47
Speaker 1: you're the Harvard Evolutionary Dynamics program, how are you going
41:51
Speaker 1: to get away from this? Well, all you can do
41:54
Speaker 1: is try to avoid it and act like it didn't happen.
41:57
Speaker 1: And of course they'll say, well, we had no idea.
41:59
Speaker 1: What Epstein wants and that's the defense. But it falls
42:02
Speaker 1: on deaf ears, especially considering this was happening after his
42:06
Speaker 1: first arrest. The program, which Novak runs from an office
42:12
Speaker 1: suite at one Brattle Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts, applies math
42:17
Speaker 1: to genetics to seek cures for cancer and other diseases.
42:21
Speaker 1: Epstein has represented himself as a co founder of the program.
42:25
Speaker 1: So look, these are their own words. They're associating with him.
42:29
Speaker 1: He's calling himself the co founder of the program. Nobody
42:32
Speaker 1: steps in to stop them, not till there was a
42:34
Speaker 1: bunch of fury over their relationship with them. So how
42:38
Speaker 1: can anyone look at these dudes and be like, oh, yeah,
42:41
Speaker 1: you know what. You guys were on your game. You
42:43
Speaker 1: just got bamboozled by this guy. Jeffrey Epstein a great
42:46
Speaker 1: con man. He conjur you, dudes. That's not the case.
42:50
Speaker 1: They all knew, at the very least they should have known.
42:53
Speaker 1: He was a sex offender, somebody that was busted for
42:57
Speaker 1: quote unquote soliciting an under for prostitution, meaning child abuse.
43:05
Speaker 1: On September twelfth, Epstein and Church had another phone call,
43:08
Speaker 1: which was followed by a teleconference call October twenty first
43:12
Speaker 1: between Epstein and Church that also included James Clement, an
43:16
Speaker 1: independent biomedical researcher who specializes in longevity. So that's all
43:21
Speaker 1: we need, right, Epstein being able to live for one
43:24
Speaker 1: hundred and fifty two hundred years. Pass on that please.
43:28
Speaker 1: On November thirtieth, the calendar lists a dinner with multiple attendies.
43:32
Speaker 1: Dinner with Jeffrey Epstein, Joi Edo, Reed Hoffman, and Martin Noak,
43:37
Speaker 1: eight pm, Martin Noak's Institute, one Brattle Square, Sweet six, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
43:44
Speaker 1: The address matches the address for the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics.
43:48
Speaker 1: So you have all the information you need here, the
43:51
Speaker 1: ties that bind all these people together. The question is
43:54
Speaker 1: who really cares? Obviously nobody, because these dudes are still
43:58
Speaker 1: doing what they're doing. Edo is an entrepreneur and journalist.
44:03
Speaker 1: Hoffman is a venture capitalist and the co founder of
44:06
Speaker 1: LinkedIn Church. Itto, Noak and Clement did not respond to
44:10
Speaker 1: requests for comment. Church did not respond to questions about
44:15
Speaker 1: who else might have attended the meetings and whether Martin
44:18
Speaker 1: Noak's institute refers to the program of Evolutionary Dynamics. Hoffman
44:23
Speaker 1: declined to comment. See this is the thing, the problem
44:26
Speaker 1: that I have all of these declined to comments, declined
44:29
Speaker 1: to comments, declined to comments. Why why not just come
44:33
Speaker 1: out and say, what's what? Look, I had no idea
44:35
Speaker 1: what was going on? I was invited to this meeting,
44:38
Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. But when you say, oh,
44:40
Speaker 1: I have no idea, nobody told me I didn't know
44:44
Speaker 1: how to tie my shoes. I mean, do they really
44:46
Speaker 1: expect us to believe this nonsense? All the meetings were
44:51
Speaker 1: presumably related to genetics research. It is not known whether
44:55
Speaker 1: any of the participants were aware of Epstein's status as
44:59
Speaker 1: a registered Section defender. Oh what a likely excuse. Oh
45:02
Speaker 1: we had no idea. Yeah, it wasn't all over the
45:04
Speaker 1: news or anything. And again, the smartest people in the
45:07
Speaker 1: room were talking about the most bright minds in the
45:11
Speaker 1: whole entire world. Right, but they're too stupid to know
45:14
Speaker 1: that they're breaking bread with a child molester. Come on,
45:18
Speaker 1: that is a bridge a little too far. Epstein is
45:23
Speaker 1: now facing separate federal sex trafficking charges in New York.
45:26
Speaker 1: Lawyers for Epstein did not respond to request for comment.
45:30
Speaker 1: Church's twenty fourteen calendar, which was attached to his personal website,
45:35
Speaker 1: was temporarily removed from the Internet after ABC News made
45:38
Speaker 1: inquiries to Harvard. It was then restored to the site,
45:42
Speaker 1: but in a less prominent position. The calendar link on
45:45
Speaker 1: the site now defaults to a current twenty nineteen schedule.
45:49
Speaker 1: You see what they try and do. They always try
45:51
Speaker 1: and hide this shit. They always try and you know, obfuscate,
45:55
Speaker 1: and then they act like people are crazy when they
45:57
Speaker 1: ask questions. But the proof is here. All you have
45:59
Speaker 1: to do is go back and put the pieces together.
46:02
Speaker 1: Take the time to do it. A Harvard official told
46:07
Speaker 1: NBC News the university does not control whom faculty members
46:11
Speaker 1: meet with or whom they talk to. In two thousand
46:14
Speaker 1: and six, after the public learns of state and federal
46:17
Speaker 1: investigations into Epstein's alleged sexual contacts with minors, a Harvard
46:22
Speaker 1: spokesperson told a reporter for the campus newspaper that the
46:25
Speaker 1: university would not be returning Epstein's six and a half
46:29
Speaker 1: million dollar gift. Imagine the audacity of this place. As
46:33
Speaker 1: much money as they're bringing in from students as it is,
46:36
Speaker 1: they don't want to return the six and a half
46:38
Speaker 1: million dollars. The Harvard Crimson article also noted that when
46:42
Speaker 1: Epstein made his initial donation, he had agreed to consider
46:45
Speaker 1: raising his total contribution to thirty million dollars after a
46:50
Speaker 1: review of the program's progress. As of two thousand and six,
46:54
Speaker 1: According to the Crimson article, the university said that review
46:57
Speaker 1: had not occurred. Epstein touted his affiliation with Harvard long
47:02
Speaker 1: after agreeing to federal and state plea deals, pleading guilty
47:06
Speaker 1: to a single state charge, and registering as a sex
47:08
Speaker 1: offender in two thousand and eight, So that right there
47:11
Speaker 1: should preclude him from having any relationship with Harvard or
47:15
Speaker 1: any other university. A bio published on the web in
47:20
Speaker 1: twenty fourteen by Epstein's foundation said, mister Epstein is the
47:24
Speaker 1: founder of the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics at Harvard University.
47:29
Speaker 1: The program has developed critical mathematical models of how viruses
47:33
Speaker 1: and cancer cells evolve. You know, what's the deal with
47:36
Speaker 1: all of these billionaires thinking that they're virologists and doctors
47:40
Speaker 1: and shit, here's an idea. Go work on your stupid
47:43
Speaker 1: money programs, and Bill Gates. You can go and work
47:46
Speaker 1: on computer programs. Not everybody's a doctor, okay. In a
47:52
Speaker 1: two thousand and three Vanity Fair article that referred to
47:55
Speaker 1: Epstein the Epstein Program from Mathematical Biology and Evolutionary Dynamics
48:00
Speaker 1: at Harvard. Epstein said he was reluctant to have his
48:03
Speaker 1: name attached to the program, but Harvard President Larry Summers
48:07
Speaker 1: persuaded him again, mister Summer's name. You see a trend?
48:11
Speaker 1: Hear yet the earlier article, this article. Yeah, we're gonna
48:14
Speaker 1: be talking a little bit more about mister Summers. A
48:18
Speaker 1: Harvard source said the program for Evolutionary Dynamics has never
48:22
Speaker 1: borne Epstein's name. Yeah. Sure, he used his money though, right.
48:26
Speaker 1: Epstein's press releases have repeatedly referred to a thirty million
48:30
Speaker 1: dollar gift he made the Harvard in two thousand. A
48:33
Speaker 1: Harvard source familiar with Epstein's donations was unaware of any
48:37
Speaker 1: significant gift to Harvard other than his initial six and
48:40
Speaker 1: a half million dollar donation in two thousand and three. Yeah,
48:44
Speaker 1: as if six and a half millions just peanuts, right.
48:47
Speaker 1: A Harvard spokesperson said the university does not comment on
48:50
Speaker 1: specific gifts. Harvard declined comment in December twenty eighteen when
48:55
Speaker 1: The Crimson asked again if the school would return Epstein's money. Epstein,
49:00
Speaker 1: who has been photographed wearing Harvard, Gear did not attend
49:03
Speaker 1: the university. He attended Cooper Union and New York University
49:07
Speaker 1: without graduating. See, I won't hold that against him. I
49:11
Speaker 1: don't think that you need to be a college graduate
49:13
Speaker 1: to be a successful person. But what I will say
49:15
Speaker 1: is this guy was fronting and flossing so hard that
49:20
Speaker 1: it is almost laughable. He wanted to be smart so
49:24
Speaker 1: bad that he was willing to pay top dollar just
49:27
Speaker 1: to be associated with these people. And then on the
49:30
Speaker 1: flip side of that, what else was he doing with
49:33
Speaker 1: all of the information he was garnering from them? See
49:35
Speaker 1: that for me has never been answered. He wanted to
49:38
Speaker 1: collect scientists, but what was he collecting them for? And
49:41
Speaker 1: still we don't have too many answers as far as
49:44
Speaker 1: that goes. But there you have it again, folks, just
49:46
Speaker 1: another example of how Jeffrey Epstein's stench permeates every level
49:52
Speaker 1: of our society. If you'd like to contact me, you
