  Speaker 1: think is prayer. I think prayer helps us in so

  Speaker 1: many ways. But right now, what I want to do

  Speaker 1: is I want to show you how prayer pays off.

  Speaker 1: for you. Even me, I use it every day, and

  Speaker 1: the days I don't use it, I feel it that that,

  Speaker 1: you know, the days that I go, you know, without

  Speaker 1: talking to him as much, I notice it. I feel it.

  Speaker 1: I feel a certain kind of way. You know, those

  Speaker 1: that doubts starts slipping in again, that uneasy feeling of

  Speaker 1: uncertainty slips in again, that wondering what I'm gonna do

  Speaker 1: start slipping in again. Happens to me, happens to everybody. Man,

  Speaker 1: I think, I really, really do you know, if people

  Speaker 1: would just keep it real with each other, stop being

  Speaker 1: this Christian this superman, because you ain't you ain't. There's

  Speaker 1: scripture that says that's none perfect, no not one. That's

  Speaker 1: I think we're a little too hard on each other

  Speaker 1: how prayer pays off. It's called it all eye and money.

  Speaker 1: People got money, call it all eyes. So return on investment.

  Speaker 1: People always looking for a return on investment. You know, nobody,

  Speaker 1: nobody in business really gives you money without understanding the

  Speaker 1: return on investment. They don't even give money to charities

  Speaker 1: unless they think it can do something with the bottom line.

  Speaker 1: A lot of companies work like that. I found out

  Speaker 1: out myself. Sad, but it is true. So since everything

  Speaker 1: is expected to work on a return on investment, I

  Speaker 1: assume because we're human beings. So since we are human beings,

  Speaker 1: whether you're in business or not, you still in the
• 4:26
  Speaker 1: business of living. I think when you pray, you should

  Speaker 1: expect a return on your investment. You talk to him,

  Speaker 1: you spend time opening up to him, You bowed your

  Speaker 1: head to him, you humbled yourself, you got on your knees.

  Speaker 1: I mean, but really we talking God here. So really,

  Speaker 1: what you doing ain't really about nothing. Be honest with you.

  Speaker 1: A little bit that you do do on his behalf,

  Speaker 1: it just pays and compareson with what he does. But

  Speaker 1: So you're gonna tell me how to do it. And

  Speaker 1: you've all heard this right here. If you want to

  Speaker 1: make God laugh telling me or playing, well, that's what

  Speaker 1: I did. And that's how we pray. A lot of

  Speaker 1: times we pray, and we pray. In the prayer, we're

  Speaker 1: telling him how to work it out. Well, here's the deal.

  Speaker 1: This is what I've learned. Prayer pays off in different ways.

  Speaker 1: There's a different return of my investment when I pray. See,

  Speaker 1: sometimes when I'm praying for something, a situation to dissolve
• 6:25
  Speaker 1: itself or go away, sometimes I get courage out of
• 6:29
  Speaker 1: the prayer Prayer provides me courage. That's just to go
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: on and look at it. I guess face it.

  Speaker 1: Sometimes when I'm praying about a situation, sometimes prayer gives

  Speaker 1: me hanging power. Sometimes, man, it just I look up

  Speaker 1: and I'm just handling it better. Sometimes prayer gives you

  Speaker 1: laugh at off power. Sometimes, man, you just got to

  Speaker 1: laugh at off whatever. Man, you trip it? Do you

  Speaker 1: know what that is? If you could do that? You know.

  Speaker 1: Sometimes it gives you a show of strength power. Sometimes

  Speaker 1: prayer allows you to have the appearance that you got

  Speaker 1: it all together. Nobody got to know the world winning

  Speaker 1: the tornado, the hurricane that's swirling in your life, you
• 7:26
  Speaker 1: standing over that like the eye the hurricane, you just
• 7:28
  Speaker 1: and it's all swirling around you. But you standing there
• 7:31
  Speaker 1: like the eye, you just as calm. That's what prayer does.

  Speaker 1: So when you pray, man, it builds up a lot

  Speaker 1: of things in you. You know what it's done for me.

  Speaker 1: Prayer has built up character in me. It's made me
• 7:44
  Speaker 1: have more character because I'm able to stand stronger on

  Speaker 1: the things I say because I've been praying, because I've

  Speaker 1: been asking God for all of those return of investments.

  Speaker 1: I've been asking God for courage. I've been asking God
• 7:59
  Speaker 1: for hanging that. I've been asking him to give me
• 8:01
  Speaker 1: the power to walk away. I've asked him to give
• 8:04
  Speaker 1: me ignored power. I've asked him to help me laugh
• 8:07
  Speaker 1: it off. I've asked him to show me strip. But

  Speaker 1: you know what I was doing, I was really praying,

  Speaker 1: not really for them things be real with you. I

  Speaker 1: was asking him to help me, Lord, help me. You

  Speaker 1: ever done that? You have asked God for help, and

  Speaker 1: then all of a sudden, the list of these things

  Speaker 1: show up. See, sometimes how you want the problem to

  Speaker 1: be solved ain't the best way. There's a lesson to

  Speaker 1: be learned when we make mistakes. And sometimes you got

  Speaker 1: to stay in that fire and you got to learn

  Speaker 1: that lesson. But guess what, though, when you come out

  Speaker 1: of it, you're gonna be better for it. You gonna

  Speaker 1: know more about it. Come on, y'all, pray. He's solid.
