- 0:00Speaker 1: There's that many of you in the same town. It's
- 0:02Speaker 1: one more thing.
- 0:04Speaker 2: I'm strong and more.
- 0:10Speaker 1: And by yeah, I mean mostly unhinged. People got a
- 0:17Speaker 1: lot of flak during the radio show for calling Wooster
- 0:21Speaker 1: mass a small town. I guess it depends on your
- 0:23Speaker 1: definition of small I grew up in like really small towns,
- 0:26Speaker 1: so to me, small town means two thousand. But I've
- 0:28Speaker 1: tried to adjust my sales over the years because I
- 0:31Speaker 1: realize a lot of city people call a place like
- 0:33Speaker 1: Wooster mass a small town. It's two hundred thousand people.
- 0:36Speaker 1: It's not a giant city, but it's two hundred thousand people.
- 0:40Speaker 1: So you see, they're one of the big forty eight
- 0:42Speaker 1: hours or something. There's a murder that was this in
- 0:45Speaker 1: Scott City, Kansas.
- 0:46Speaker 2: That was their big feature.
- 0:47Speaker 1: No, I'm going to catch that.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Scott City was on the map this past couple of weeks.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Really, I'll have one of the big procedure. There was
- 0:53Speaker 1: a murder there. Yeah, that might be the first one,
- 0:57Speaker 1: and maybe ever, I don't know. That's where I'm from.
- 1:02Speaker 1: So this is Worcester, Massachusetts, and they were they voted
- 1:05Speaker 1: last night to become a sanctuary city for transgender and
- 1:09Speaker 1: gender diverse people, even though sanctuary from one from Trump.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I guess you'll it'll be clear when you start hearing
- 1:18Speaker 1: all these people come to the microphone and make the
- 1:22Speaker 1: argument for why it needs to be a transgender city.
- 1:26Speaker 1: And this goes on for a long, long, long time.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I don't know how many minutes of this we're going
- 1:29Speaker 1: to do, or how often we're going to interrupt and comment.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I wish you could see the visuals, because the visuals
- 1:35Speaker 1: matter a lot. It ranges from people that look just
- 1:38Speaker 1: like the guy you're gonna hear, who say I get
- 1:40Speaker 1: misgendered every day, just looks like a regular forty year
- 1:43Speaker 1: old dude. And what am I supposed to do? I mean,
- 1:49Speaker 1: if if you go by a different pronoun than he
- 1:53Speaker 1: and you look in dress like that, am I supposed
- 1:56Speaker 1: to ask every single person I meet?
- 1:57Speaker 3: Well?
- 1:57Speaker 1: I guess that is their argument. You are supposed to
- 1:59Speaker 1: ask every person you meet well.
- 2:02Speaker 2: And remember, with the neo Marxists, the critical theory, the
- 2:05Speaker 2: radical gender theory, people, the point is not the sex.
- 2:08Speaker 2: The point is your submission to run them.
- 2:11Speaker 1: But my point was the visual is a lot of
- 2:14Speaker 1: a lot of crazy colored hair and a lot of
- 2:17Speaker 1: really weird clothes and a lot of piercings and tattoos
- 2:20Speaker 1: and that sort of thing. But anyway, here we go.
- 2:23Speaker 4: I need the city to protect me because the federal
- 2:26Speaker 4: government won't. And if you think you're afraid of Trump,
- 2:30Speaker 4: you should see how afraid of Trump I am. Yes,
- 2:35Speaker 4: I can. If you say that you're afraid of Trump,
- 2:38Speaker 4: and that's why you don't want city to be the
- 2:40Speaker 4: city to be a space, save space for trans people,
- 2:43Speaker 4: you better prepare for trans people to make this a
- 2:46Speaker 4: very unsaved space.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I'm shaking right now. I don't want to be here.
- 2:54Speaker 5: I'm sorry. I'm not taking too long pleading for my life.
- 2:58Speaker 5: You remember how many children I have? How many? And
- 3:00Speaker 5: that two of them are trans?
- 3:03Speaker 6: I speak as both the B and the T in
- 3:06Speaker 6: the LGBT.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Okay, can we start there, Michael.
- 3:09Speaker 7: There's so much already, oh yeash, so much mental illness.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Right and desperate need to be afraid in the victim
- 3:19Speaker 2: because that gets you social currents.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I'm sorry, am I taking too much time pleading for
- 3:23Speaker 1: my life? Your life is at risk. Meanwhile, you'll talk
- 3:27Speaker 1: about it.
- 3:28Speaker 7: The only threat that's been posed was the girl speaking
- 3:30Speaker 7: before him.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Excellent point. The only threat that has actually occurred around
- 3:34Speaker 1: The trans issue came from a transperson that we will
- 3:37Speaker 1: make this an unsafe space if you don't make Wooster
- 3:39Speaker 1: mass a sanctuary city for trans whatever the hell that means.
- 3:44Speaker 1: But the woman, I'm trans and my two kids are trans, Okay,
- 3:48Speaker 1: all right?
- 3:49Speaker 2: Like we said on the show, trans children are like
- 3:52Speaker 2: vegan cats. We know who's making that decision.
- 3:58Speaker 5: I'm multiply just.
- 4:00Speaker 4: I have Ellers Danlos syndrome, which is a connective tissue
- 4:03Speaker 4: disorder that causes me immense physical pain. I'm on the
- 4:08Speaker 4: autism spectrum, and I have NARCOLEPSI, and I couldn't drive
- 4:12Speaker 4: myself here, so I had to hide from my driver
- 4:15Speaker 4: that I was in drag, which is not an easy
- 4:18Speaker 4: thing to do.
- 4:20Speaker 5: I do not want to be here. It's my day off.
- 4:23Speaker 5: I do not want to be in your dms.
- 4:25Speaker 4: I do not want to be in your email in boxes.
- 4:28Speaker 7: I do not want my creativity writing disc tracks like Kendrick.
- 4:32Speaker 8: I don't want to spend an hour applying glitter on
- 4:36Speaker 8: my face so that you will hear and see me.
- 4:40Speaker 5: I want you to listen to me.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Let us remember that the Nazis burned the books that
- 4:46Speaker 3: the Nazis burned books on gender sciences first. Now the
- 4:51Speaker 3: administration has villainized and margulized migrant workers, trans lg LGBT people,
- 4:59Speaker 3: and even special needs, denying life saving and a firm
- 5:03Speaker 3: and care.
- 5:04Speaker 1: It's justin true. Poor guy had his moment, just couldn't
- 5:13Speaker 1: get through that. You were shaking your head at one
- 5:14Speaker 1: of those, Katie, I don't remember which one it was,
- 5:16Speaker 1: the violently.
- 5:18Speaker 7: It was the first of all, the chick that said.
- 5:19Speaker 1: I don't want to be putting glitter on my face.
- 5:22Speaker 6: You would.
- 5:22Speaker 7: You would absolutely be doing that every day. It's part
- 5:25Speaker 7: of you who what your holes stick?
- 5:27Speaker 1: So, yeah, that's gonna happen. And the other force to
- 5:30Speaker 1: be seen you have to put glitter on your face. No,
- 5:32Speaker 1: I think you kind of like putting glitter on your face.
- 5:34Speaker 7: This was a very well constructed glitter beard. She's done
- 5:37Speaker 7: it before. And second of all, they all sound like
- 5:40Speaker 7: they're having temper tantrums.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Yeah, one of them. It's like the coin of the realm.
- 5:44Speaker 1: For whatever reason, you have to be Yeah, you have
- 5:47Speaker 1: to be on the verge of losing it, like a meltdown.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Well, it reminds me of even certain brands of verbon politics.
- 5:54Speaker 2: You must be shouting indignantly and waving your finger to
- 5:58Speaker 2: be taken seriously. It's oh, the ridiculous glitter beard, not
- 6:02Speaker 2: a terrible banded name.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Do a lot of you do YMCA and in the
- 6:10Speaker 1: Navy and all those songs, a lot of covers. The
- 6:13Speaker 1: poor woman listing off her many many ailments and then
- 6:17Speaker 1: how she can't drive because of her narcolepsy. And I'm
- 6:20Speaker 1: in drag so it's that much more difficult to get
- 6:22Speaker 1: a ride here. Okay, Wow, I don't know. I don't
- 6:26Speaker 1: know what to do. I don't know what to do
- 6:29Speaker 1: to some of you have so many issues, real or imagined.
- 6:33Speaker 7: That part of me wants to be insensitive and say
- 6:36Speaker 7: you can't get a ride because of something self inflicted.
- 6:38Speaker 2: If that's a right, don't then right, I am gonna
- 6:43Speaker 2: drop a truth bomb on you. This is not unexploded
- 6:46Speaker 2: and ordinance. It's gonna go off in your braying baby seriously.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Now take this seriously, mister and missus America. At various
- 6:56Speaker 2: times in their life, particularly very young life, everybody, Hanson,
- 7:03Speaker 2: sorry to make you bleep this, every fucking body wanted
- 7:08Speaker 2: to be somebody else. It's what we go through as
- 7:12Speaker 2: human beings. It doesn't mean you are somebody else. It's
- 7:16Speaker 2: just something we go through.
- 7:21Speaker 1: We got more of this here we go.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Oh goody, I mean tell me how many of my
- 7:24Speaker 4: friends need to die before you do anything me.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Okay, we're all gone here, suggs.
- 7:35Speaker 5: Of course we need to continue celebrating Black History Month
- 7:38Speaker 5: because in spite of what's coming down from Washington, we
- 7:42Speaker 5: all know that we all exist and we all need
- 7:45Speaker 5: to be recognized for our existence.
- 7:47Speaker 9: But be aware that you are a guest in my
- 7:51Speaker 9: house when you come, and when you come, know that
- 7:55Speaker 9: there are strong queer and trans people in my classroom
- 8:00Speaker 9: who will collect you with the quickness.
- 8:03Speaker 4: My name and drag is Dedie Delight, and my name
- 8:08Speaker 4: out of drag is Dewey cosgrovatiansa.
- 8:12Speaker 8: Gladdie Laruge he the and Drag District III. My legal
- 8:16Speaker 8: name is Olivia Danbrosio. My public name is Livy Scanlon.
- 8:21Speaker 8: My wife and I own a home in the Canal District.
- 8:24Speaker 6: I speak as someone who is always misgendered, like all
- 8:28Speaker 6: the time people will refer to me as sir, when
- 8:32Speaker 6: I prefer it to be referred to as ma'am. I
- 8:36Speaker 6: speak as someone who is afraid to use public toilets.
- 8:41Speaker 6: I speak as someone who is member of this community
- 8:46Speaker 6: and is a queer person.
- 8:48Speaker 1: So the interesting thing about that guy again is is
- 8:50Speaker 1: he presents he's a dude who presents as a dude
- 8:54Speaker 1: and dresses dude clothes. He just looks like he looks
- 8:57Speaker 1: like any like forty something dad who walked away from
- 9:00Speaker 1: his kids soccer practice to the city council meeting. And
- 9:02Speaker 1: then he does the whole I get misgendered. I'm afraid
- 9:05Speaker 1: to use public toilets. Yeah, we ain cat, why about it?
- 9:09Speaker 2: But yeah, you're a dude getting the dudes, John, I'm
- 9:12Speaker 2: a woman, call me moman. No, you don't get to
- 9:13Speaker 2: tell me what to say.
- 9:14Speaker 1: The poor guy's screaming, how many of my friends need
- 9:17Speaker 1: to die before we do this. I'm guessing none of
- 9:21Speaker 1: your friends are died, or if you do have a
- 9:22Speaker 1: friend who committed suitside, that's horrible.
- 9:25Speaker 7: But what And also just for a visual that the
- 9:29Speaker 7: glitterbeard chick was the one that said he they from
- 9:33Speaker 7: District three.
- 9:34Speaker 1: So oh, how about the little drag name thing. I
- 9:39Speaker 1: was unaware of that. So you have a drag name
- 9:41Speaker 1: and then your regular name you need to drop to
- 9:43Speaker 1: my drag name is you know, sir Francis a Lot
- 9:47Speaker 1: or whatever, and then uh, then you give your real name.
- 9:50Speaker 1: That's interesting. I didn't know that.
- 9:52Speaker 7: And for what it's worth, all of us are scared
- 9:53Speaker 7: to use public restaurant.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Yeah for the wind.
- 10:00Speaker 1: That that is less than half of the thing we got.
- 10:03Speaker 1: We weren't gonna play more of it because I think
- 10:05Speaker 1: he got the gist. But as somebody tweeted afterwards, and
- 10:08Speaker 1: I think this person was a hateful bigot, but I'll
- 10:10Speaker 1: I'll just repeat their tweets. You know what kind of
- 10:12Speaker 1: person is out there?
- 10:14Speaker 2: Brace yourselves?
- 10:15Speaker 1: Why are there so many mentally ill people? Now?
- 10:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no kidding. My drag name is Screwedolph the
- 10:23Speaker 2: red nosed brain Deer, and I prefer my pronouns. Are
- 10:29Speaker 2: they it?
- 10:32Speaker 1: Well, find some glitter, I guess that's it.
