Tragic Road Accident in Co Cavan | Cork News
A heartbreaking tragedy struck Co Cavan last Friday when a ten-year-old girl died after a fatal collision between a car and a flatbed van on the R162 near Shercock. Her mother, who was driving, also died at the scene. The girl was airlifted to Temple Street Children’s Hospital in critical condition but succumbed later that afternoon. The community is reeling from the loss, as investigators seek witnesses or dashcam footage from between 4:15 and 5 PM to piece together what happened.
