- 0:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna steal this. I think that's yours anyway, this
- 0:11Speaker 1: ain't mine.
- 0:12Speaker 2: No, the slaves and it's a it's Christmas I want. Yeah,
- 0:17Speaker 2: but it's like a dinosaur on a sleigh. Oh it
- 0:19Speaker 2: says that slays. Yeah, Big, that slays. I don't know, man,
- 0:23Speaker 2: Big with your marketing. I'm a little confused. Still, I
- 0:26Speaker 2: still think I've stole that from you. Really, I steal
- 0:29Speaker 2: a lot of lighters from your house. I don't know
- 0:31Speaker 2: if you notice that. Well, I don't do it on purpose.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I just forget that I have them. I did notice
- 0:34Speaker 2: at one point last week that I had like one
- 0:36Speaker 2: working lighter.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Hence, look at the one that I'm using.
- 0:39Speaker 3: It's a little teeny tiny little yeah mini one.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Speaking of marketing schemes, there are big lighters with that sleighs,
- 0:46Speaker 2: which makes no sense. You know when I told you
- 0:48Speaker 2: that the mister good, mister good what's his name, mister clean,
- 0:52Speaker 2: mister clean, mister good, mister good, mister goodbar. That's a
- 0:56Speaker 2: chocolate thing, right, Okay, no, no, no, he was supposedly retiring,
- 1:01Speaker 2: he was going away, and I said, this reeks of
- 1:03Speaker 2: a marketing scheme. Sure enough, Well it was announced last
- 1:06Speaker 2: week that mister Clean loves cleaning so much so he
- 1:10Speaker 2: had to come out of retirement because he was too bored.
- 1:12Speaker 2: And now he's going to be unveiling some new cleaning products.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Oh god, well you're looking forward to it, all right?
- 1:19Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:20Speaker 2: I will say though again, I just discovered recently how
- 1:22Speaker 2: magic the magic erasers are. Pretty magic, pretty mad again,
- 1:26Speaker 2: pretty mad, pretty magical, magical. You're having a hard time
- 1:29Speaker 2: talking today, not just today. I'm the same way. I'm
- 1:33Speaker 2: always getting my words all blah blah blah blah blah blah.
- 1:35Speaker 1: What about you? Dominic?
- 1:36Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:37Speaker 2: Yeah, fine, he's better than us. You know why, because
- 1:40Speaker 2: you're sober today, right, your sober guests? I am, yeah, okay,
- 1:44Speaker 2: And I don't I don't like when we associate with
- 1:46Speaker 2: the weed, smokegage with the s word of sober. You know,
- 1:50Speaker 2: that makes it sound bad. You're not stone with us.
- 1:54Speaker 2: That sounds worse than that. I don't know how that sounds.
- 1:57Speaker 1: How I fixed it? What do I ask the guy?
- 1:59Speaker 3: I don't know? Do you smoke? We know actually I can't.
- 2:03Speaker 3: I have a problem with my esophagus that I can't
- 2:07Speaker 3: now irritate my throat.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Here's the thing. Yeah, that story that happened and how
- 2:11Speaker 2: you found that out is tragic. It's traumatic. Is it
- 2:13Speaker 2: something we can share on the show?
- 2:14Speaker 3: We can do?
- 2:15Speaker 1: You just want to get to the point and say,
- 2:16Speaker 1: you choked on a hot dog? I did like a
- 2:21Speaker 1: hot dog? D like hot dog at the Eagles. At
- 2:24Speaker 1: the Eagles game. Oh yeah.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Not only that, though, you had to be taken away
- 2:28Speaker 2: via ambulance.
- 2:30Speaker 3: I was down in the in the link, met the
- 2:32Speaker 3: med bay I allowed to laugh. Yeah, okay, he's fine.
- 2:36Speaker 3: That's all that matters is here today I was like
- 2:38Speaker 3: almost five years ago.
- 2:39Speaker 2: My first question though, before you tell the story, how
- 2:41Speaker 2: much you pay for that hot dog?
- 2:42Speaker 1: It almost killed you? Your umber? Like a twenty dollars
- 2:45Speaker 1: hot dogs close? Yeah geez. And then the hospital bill
- 2:49Speaker 1: it worse. Yeah.
- 2:50Speaker 3: My ambulance ride along was like two grand oh just
- 2:53Speaker 3: you know. And then it was at the Eagles game.
- 2:57Speaker 3: So I went down. I would start choking. It was
- 3:00Speaker 3: I took the hot dog and our friend that Mike,
- 3:02Speaker 3: you know, our friend Rich was with me. He know
- 3:05Speaker 3: what was going on. He thought I was just throwing
- 3:06Speaker 3: up because you know, we'd had a couple of drinks
- 3:08Speaker 3: throughout the day, you know, earlier in the day it was.
- 3:10Speaker 1: An afternoon game. Yeah, we're partying.
- 3:12Speaker 3: By the time I got to the pen Medicine, I
- 3:15Speaker 3: threw it up and that was it. And the girl
- 3:17Speaker 3: and the ambulance told me, She's like, if you throw
- 3:19Speaker 3: it up, make sure you throw it up in this
- 3:20Speaker 3: bag and show them so they could see it. And
- 3:22Speaker 3: I did that, and the girl the nerves there at
- 3:25Speaker 3: pen Medicine like, free it to me. She goes, ew,
- 3:27Speaker 3: why are you showing that to me? So the girl
- 3:29Speaker 3: and the ambulance told me to Like, I was kind
- 3:31Speaker 3: of pissed at that turns out to how something which
- 3:33Speaker 3: that's called eosinophilic esophagitis, which means there's ten times fast,
- 3:40Speaker 3: but it means there's immune cells or like white blood
- 3:43Speaker 3: cells building up in your esophagus, which causes inflammation, which
- 3:47Speaker 3: makes it kind of hard to swallow.
- 3:48Speaker 2: So that's what made you discover that you can't smoke weed, Yeah,
- 3:51Speaker 2: because you have a esophagite eosinophilic esophagitis. How long to
- 3:56Speaker 2: take you to memorize. Seriously, you practiced that. Yeah, I'd
- 4:01Speaker 2: have to make myself flashcards, sir.
- 4:03Speaker 1: What do you have?
- 4:03Speaker 3: Oh?
- 4:04Speaker 1: Hang on, let me look, I sound it out?
- 4:06Speaker 3: What is it?
- 4:07Speaker 1: Eosinophilic esophagitis. I'm never gonna remember that.
- 4:10Speaker 2: He his photosynthesis of vocforditis.
- 4:13Speaker 1: That's the one.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Yeah, you enjoy the occasional gummy So Dominic, our guest
- 4:18Speaker 3: today doesn't just choke on hot dogs for fun. He
- 4:21Speaker 3: also hosts his own podcast, Right, and what's your podcast called?
- 4:24Speaker 3: It's called WTF Did I just did? I just watch?
- 4:27Speaker 1: And WTF obviously means yeah, what the what the fuck?
- 4:30Speaker 3: What the fuck?
- 4:31Speaker 1: That I just watch?
- 4:32Speaker 3: And it's a podcast that I do with my friend
- 4:35Speaker 3: Rich who I've known since middle school and that Mikey
- 4:36Speaker 3: also knows. And I bust out some obscure movies out
- 4:40Speaker 3: of my collection that I've had, you know, since I
- 4:42Speaker 3: was a teenager basically.
- 4:45Speaker 1: And it's movies, by the way, Joe, that you'd hate.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Yeah, just really you don't like most movies you don't see,
- 4:50Speaker 3: like A level movies.
- 4:51Speaker 1: He loves b C level movies.
- 4:54Speaker 2: He speaking of awful BC level movies I just saw
- 4:58Speaker 2: on Amazon Prime now streaming is the Millennia movie.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Anybody have plans to watch it?
- 5:03Speaker 3: I've never heard of it? Anybody you never heard of it?
- 5:06Speaker 1: Answer? It's about the first lady. I'm tempted to.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Watch it, you know. But I did bring a couple
- 5:12Speaker 3: of movies that we've reviewed on the podcast that I
- 5:14Speaker 3: can actually show you so you can look and see.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Yeah, bring them out for these DVD's.
- 5:19Speaker 3: There are DVDs and a VHS in here as all
- 5:21Speaker 3: and a Blu ray Oh wow. Okay, all right, cool,
- 5:24Speaker 3: I got you that bag, didn't I you did. I
- 5:26Speaker 3: did some revibes today kind of feels like summer. So
- 5:32Speaker 3: the first one is Tammy and the t Rex. You
- 5:34Speaker 3: can kind of Tammy and the t Rex with Denise Richards. Okay,
- 5:38Speaker 3: I know the name Denise Richards, right, who's Denise Richards?
- 5:41Speaker 1: Why do I know her?
- 5:42Speaker 3: He's from Wild Things?
- 5:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:43Speaker 2: I mean that's the most notable I say for people
- 5:46Speaker 2: our age and our generation.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I don't know, Denise. Now, you're a little too young
- 5:49Speaker 1: for that, right, you know.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I know I've seen like three movies in my life,
- 5:53Speaker 2: Toy Story, Monsters, Inc.
- 5:54Speaker 1: And Titanic. Those would be about the three the three t's.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Yeah, and uh, you know, like the Goonies, I said three,
- 6:04Speaker 2: not all of those. What other movies have I seen that?
- 6:06Speaker 2: I like, I'm just not a movie guy. You know
- 6:08Speaker 2: my rule for movies too. I've said it before, I'll
- 6:10Speaker 2: say it again. I'll die standing on this hill. Ninety minutes, man, Yeah,
- 6:14Speaker 2: got an hour and a half.
- 6:15Speaker 3: I agree with you.
- 6:15Speaker 1: A lot of these are short.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:17Speaker 2: So you see that the title Tammy and the t Rex.
- 6:20Speaker 2: What do you think this movie's about, Joe? What do
- 6:22Speaker 2: I think it's about? Just glancing at the cover, well, gee,
- 6:24Speaker 2: if I had to guess, maybe it's about a t
- 6:26Speaker 2: Rex and maybe some woman who could be named Tammy.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Yeah, we're off to a good start with a shot.
- 6:33Speaker 3: It's actually I'll give you a brief synopsis. Paul Walker's
- 6:37Speaker 3: in the movie. He gets eaten by lions at the
- 6:39Speaker 3: zoo and his brain gets put into an animatronic t
- 6:43Speaker 3: Rex and he starts communicating with with Denise Richards.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Sound like a movie you'd be into, Joe Hi.
- 6:49Speaker 3: He visits her at her house and a giant t
- 6:52Speaker 3: rexes comes to her house and then she just believes
- 6:54Speaker 3: it's him.
- 6:54Speaker 1: She goes, it's you. I knew it was you.
- 6:56Speaker 2: It's like when people come back and or you know,
- 6:58Speaker 2: they say they come back.
- 6:59Speaker 3: This one came back as a t rex, you know what.
- 7:01Speaker 2: And this comes on VHS from Dominick's collection and it
- 7:04Speaker 2: says color approximately eighty two.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Minutes, so it has a chance.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I bet you'd get smoked up and
- 7:10Speaker 2: watch that movie. I bet you'd enjoy it.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Is it supposed to be a comedy or is it
- 7:14Speaker 3: supposed to be like serious? And it's supposed to be serious,
- 7:17Speaker 3: but it turned out more like a comedy. It turned
- 7:18Speaker 3: into a cult classic. Basically, have you seen this movie, Mokey?
- 7:22Speaker 3: I don't think so. The uncut Gore edition is on shutter.
- 7:25Speaker 3: I believe there's another addition that has more blood in
- 7:27Speaker 3: it that's on shutter.
- 7:29Speaker 1: What else did you bring? Okay?
- 7:30Speaker 3: All right, here's another one that we did.
- 7:32Speaker 2: All right, all right? This movie is called Frank Hannah
- 7:39Speaker 2: Lotter's Franken Hooker.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Yep.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Is this not like a porno?
- 7:44Speaker 3: No?
- 7:44Speaker 1: It's not. Now what do you think that movie's about?
- 7:48Speaker 3: Joel?
- 7:48Speaker 1: Okay?
- 7:49Speaker 2: This also is eighty five minutes? All right, I liked it.
- 7:52Speaker 2: They put right on it. How long it is?
- 7:54Speaker 4: Ye?
- 7:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Maybe this dude makes instead of making Frankenstein in his
- 7:59Speaker 2: basement like a hooker.
- 8:01Speaker 3: You're close, You're close. This girl actually gets chopped up
- 8:04Speaker 3: by a lawnmower and then all her and then her
- 8:08Speaker 3: head and then gets sewn onto a bunch of prostitutes
- 8:11Speaker 3: body parts, and he makes a basically like a Frankenstein hooker.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I love Joel's face right now. It seems like another
- 8:20Speaker 1: tough sell.
- 8:22Speaker 3: It sounds great to be what else Mikey has seen
- 8:25Speaker 3: this one? This is my favorite movie of all time.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Oh man grudgingly watched this one.
- 8:29Speaker 2: So for years they would talk about this movie right,
- 8:31Speaker 2: and I had no interest in watching it. I really
- 8:33Speaker 2: didn't want to see it right. So they tricked me.
- 8:36Speaker 2: They brought me on their podcast and the movie that
- 8:38Speaker 2: they feature because they keep it, you know, a secret
- 8:40Speaker 2: for the guest. They put this movie in, and that's
- 8:42Speaker 2: how they got me to finally watch this movie and honestly, wow,
- 8:45Speaker 2: So you don't remember what it's about.
- 8:46Speaker 1: You record the.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Podcast as you're watching the movie, and you comment on
- 8:50Speaker 3: the movie. Not a watch along we do. We basically
- 8:53Speaker 3: do an intro in the beginning, and then we take
- 8:56Speaker 3: a break. We grab our food whatever, we sit down
- 8:58Speaker 3: and watch the movie, and then we record our thoughts
- 8:59Speaker 3: out afterward, like our review.
- 9:01Speaker 2: And sometimes the ones we've done in the past, I
- 9:03Speaker 2: feel like we pause during the movie for some commentation,
- 9:05Speaker 2: you know, quick like sometimes we're in the middle of
- 9:07Speaker 2: this movie and here's.
- 9:08Speaker 3: What we think. Really, you know, Actually this movie is
- 9:11Speaker 3: called Ricky. Oh yeah, the story of the story of Ricky.
- 9:15Speaker 2: From the cover, it looks like it's like a karate
- 9:18Speaker 2: kid type flick.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's one of the bloodiest martial arts movies ever made.
- 9:23Speaker 2: But yeah, mister Miyagi, no, uncle Ricky's uncle his uncle.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Yeah, he's an old, older gentleman that he dreams about.
- 9:32Speaker 3: And what's his name, Ricky's uncle, that's what he doesn't
- 9:35Speaker 3: have a name in the movie now. Uncle Ghost is
- 9:37Speaker 3: the subtitled name boy. They refer to this on the
- 9:40Speaker 3: back cover as a cult classic. That seems like a
- 9:42Speaker 3: like a yeah, that's what state.
- 9:44Speaker 2: That's basically what they do is they watch these cult
- 9:46Speaker 2: classic movies. Yeah, you know, very specific audience space.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's part of the Mad Scientist Party our podcast,
- 9:52Speaker 3: which is a from front and this is actually the
- 9:55Speaker 3: shirt I'm wearing, right now, shutty, that's right there. I'm
- 9:58Speaker 3: a friend Kevin that went to college with and then
- 10:00Speaker 3: their friend Jeff, and then they have a Patreon, Patreon
- 10:04Speaker 3: dot com slash Matt Science Party Hour, and that's where
- 10:07Speaker 3: our podcast lives on there.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Cool.
- 10:09Speaker 3: So yeah, if you want to check it out, we
- 10:10Speaker 3: have some available on the five dollars tier. There's also
- 10:12Speaker 3: a ten dollars tier as well. This is a fun episode.
- 10:15Speaker 3: I think it's it's a movie season. I think the
- 10:17Speaker 3: Oscars are coming up this Sunday. You excited about the Oscars, droll.
- 10:20Speaker 3: I had no idea that.
- 10:21Speaker 2: I mean, I knew that the Oscars were coming because
- 10:24Speaker 2: it's award show season. But is Oscars movies or TV
- 10:27Speaker 2: movies obviously?
- 10:28Speaker 3: Right?
- 10:28Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, okay, just making sure do you care at
- 10:30Speaker 1: all about the Oscars? Which one's the TV one?
- 10:33Speaker 2: Golden Globes not the Grammys, the Golden Globes, Yeah, Golden Globes, yeah.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Right, and they have the Actors Awards.
- 10:40Speaker 2: That means too, that means yeah. Anyway, it's award season,
- 10:44Speaker 2: it's movie time. I figured it'd be cool to have
- 10:46Speaker 2: some guests that have movie related themes in their life. Yeah,
- 10:50Speaker 2: you can try to sell me on some more movies later.
- 10:52Speaker 2: But man, I wasn't Blockbuster. I don't know if I
- 10:54Speaker 2: go for these three. Nope, we should press the open button.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Episode forty two, Let's do it. I said, let's do it.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I know.

- 12:01Speaker 1: That's right.
- 12:01Speaker 2: We had this there's this video online at one point
- 12:03Speaker 2: called Barney's Book of Diseases or something like that, and
- 12:07Speaker 2: it would be Barney, like a fake Barney reading a
- 12:10Speaker 2: book of diseases and we used to mimic it a lot.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Yep, like Love Barnie Man.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Spina, Yep, that was the one.
- 12:22Speaker 2: The funny thing is, while you were making photo Barney,

- 12:57Speaker 3: What's the first song you put on the juke box
- 12:58Speaker 3: when you take over the jukebox? Usually three eleven? I
- 13:04Speaker 3: don't know I mean all mixed up and down. Those
- 13:06Speaker 3: are their well most well known songs. But what about
- 13:08Speaker 3: Amber WHOA, that's a good one.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Good one over here? Right?
- 13:14Speaker 3: Energy energy, same thing hair energy. Yeah, either that or incubus.
- 13:19Speaker 3: I'll throw some inkybus like Megalomaniac on or talk shows
- 13:23Speaker 3: on mute, something like do you like three eleven? Joel?
- 13:25Speaker 3: They're okay? How many times have you seen three eleven
- 13:29Speaker 3: in the twenties, let's say upper twenties?
- 13:31Speaker 1: Oh, you know three eleven is one of those cult
- 13:33Speaker 1: following bands. Yep. You know another person that's very into
- 13:37Speaker 1: three eleven?
- 13:37Speaker 3: We do. Yeah, it's nothing.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Wrong with three eleven. I mean I don't need to
- 13:42Speaker 2: hear them all the time, but it's cool. I have
- 13:44Speaker 2: the greatest hitch on vine All. I pop it on
- 13:46Speaker 2: every now and then. Dominic, you've listened to our podcast,

- 17:13Speaker 1: a wrap it round.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, he's trying to get to clock moving here.
- 17:15Speaker 2: It's missed that last one, mister Becker. I'm glad you

- 17:19Speaker 1: At Queen. You're getting there.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Thanks, You're welcome progress. We have questions for each other. Yeah,

- 17:36Speaker 2: we skipped over a feature completely.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Yeah, welcome to the show, blazed and confused random thoughts.
- 17:44Speaker 3: All right.
- 17:44Speaker 2: So I discovered today that I can't do anything in
- 17:48Speaker 2: regards to my professional life with even a little bit
- 17:51Speaker 2: of marijuana in my system.
- 17:52Speaker 1: I just can't do it. I can't do it. I
- 17:54Speaker 1: had a call today.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Just after I might have, you know, in maybe like
- 18:00Speaker 2: a tad because I thought that my day was over.
- 18:02Speaker 2: And then you know, my phone rang and I had
- 18:04Speaker 2: to have like a big boy conversation, not a bad
- 18:06Speaker 2: big boy conversation, but anyway, I went to go leave
- 18:10Speaker 2: this phone call like hang up, and I wanted to
- 18:13Speaker 2: say okay, sweet thanks, and it came out okay sweetie.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Oh and then we hung up and then we hung up, and.
- 18:23Speaker 2: I thought, Dad, I just call her sweetie. So now
- 18:28Speaker 2: my question is do I go to and be like, hey, listen,
- 18:30Speaker 2: the other day when I hung up on you, I
- 18:32Speaker 2: accidentally called you sweetie. It's because I was stone out
- 18:34Speaker 2: of my freaking mind. I meant to say sweet yeah,
- 18:37Speaker 2: sweet I would clear it up and say just like
- 18:39Speaker 2: that on a call.
- 18:40Speaker 1: HR on me, please, I just started. I'm new.
- 18:44Speaker 2: You know, I was in Philadelphia this past weekend and
- 18:46Speaker 2: I got a parking ticket right my meter it ran
- 18:49Speaker 2: out at four thirty five pm. Guess what time I
- 18:52Speaker 2: got my freaking parking ticket? Four thirty six pm? One
- 18:56Speaker 2: minute later? How is that full playing?
- 18:58Speaker 4: Right?
- 18:58Speaker 2: They were sitting there waiting, They probably had access to
- 19:01Speaker 2: the app and they could see the things winding down.
- 19:03Speaker 2: They were just standing there, but one minute after it expired.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Come on this, Philadelphia, Yeah, you think I should dispute that?
- 19:09Speaker 2: Or do you think it's a lost cast now? Worth
- 19:11Speaker 2: like it's a city against me? Right, they're gonna be like,
- 19:12Speaker 2: we're gonna take your twenty six dollars.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Oh it's twenty six dollars, but stih my god, absolutely,
- 19:17Speaker 3: what are you talking about?
- 19:18Speaker 2: No, twenty six dollars, Mikey. We the world we live
- 19:23Speaker 2: in right now. Unless it's like one hundred dollars, it
- 19:26Speaker 2: don't fucking matter, all right, I mean so it sounds
- 19:28Speaker 2: stupid that maybe not that, but you know what I
- 19:30Speaker 2: mean I sort of understood.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Yeah, they just got rid of the penny.
- 19:33Speaker 3: That's the way life is moving a fair enough, right, Yeah,
- 19:36Speaker 3: twenty six dollars, I might I don't know. That's pretty
- 19:39Speaker 3: screwed up though.
- 19:40Speaker 2: One minute after I got there, I mean one minute
- 19:43Speaker 2: after it ran out. It don't you got to like
- 19:44Speaker 2: go down there and go to court. I could just
- 19:46Speaker 2: do it online. They have like virtual court. Now you're
- 19:49Speaker 2: gonna do that for twenty six dollars? It seems a
- 19:51Speaker 2: little coarnty rights are right, I'm not gonna do it.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Yeah. It's at the Allentown farmers Market this weekend. Paid
- 19:56Speaker 3: cash for some food and the guy's like, hey, you
- 19:58Speaker 3: want the relic back? It was like one cent that No,
- 20:01Speaker 3: you keep it. It's all good.
- 20:03Speaker 1: See pennies absolutely now.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that pety's probably worth like fifty thousand dollars.
- 20:08Speaker 2: See that sounds bad, bad at me to say, listen
- 20:10Speaker 2: to one hundred bucks don't fucking matter.
- 20:12Speaker 3: But like I don't know, twenty six dollars. I know,
- 20:14Speaker 3: on the grind scream of things, twenty six the principle
- 20:17Speaker 3: of the matter.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Yeah, believe me, I'm the king of spending my money
- 20:21Speaker 2: on dumb shit. But then when it comes to like groceries,
- 20:23Speaker 2: I get the cheapest of cheap and then regret it.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Most of the time you're telling me about this ninety
- 20:28Speaker 2: nine cent sauce you bought. Oh yeah, it's a store
- 20:31Speaker 2: bread pasta sauce. Why should it be more than ninety
- 20:34Speaker 2: nine cents? I'm looking talk about expensive, man, I'm looking
- 20:37Speaker 2: at canned sauces. Yeah, which I guess if you're a
- 20:39Speaker 2: real cook, you make your own. I'm not a real cook, okay,
- 20:42Speaker 2: but I'm looking at canned sauces. It goes up to
- 20:44Speaker 2: like eleven dollars. Who the hell's spending eleven dollars on
- 20:47Speaker 2: a can of sauce?
- 20:48Speaker 3: Not me?
- 20:49Speaker 2: I usually do if I'm gonna make something. What Yeah, oh,
- 20:52Speaker 2: come on. Inflation's fine, it's under control the process.
- 20:57Speaker 1: I'm trusting the process. No, gas is up eighty cents.
- 20:59Speaker 2: We didn't enough to meet the press, I know. I
- 21:03Speaker 2: just don't want to talk about it for a second though.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Last week we're like the news. This week, yeah, I
- 21:07Speaker 2: can't even go there.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Yeah. Oil prices are through the roof too. It's like
- 21:11Speaker 3: we just bought a house last year. It's like never
- 21:13Speaker 3: had oil before, and I was like, of course, time
- 21:15Speaker 3: I buy a house with oil. Now the oil's skyrocketing
- 21:19Speaker 3: and the bombs bursting in.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Air, Yeah about it, and the bombs bursting in air? Yeah,
- 21:27Speaker 2: when's the line after that gave proof? No, no, no,
- 21:30Speaker 2: there's another line and the bums gave proof too. Then no,
- 21:34Speaker 2: no no, but there's another line before them. Oh yeah,
- 21:36Speaker 2: you're right, and the bombs and wait, we got the
- 21:39Speaker 2: bombs in the air.
- 21:40Speaker 3: I we used to get the Grandmam from Christmas vacation. Yeah,
- 21:43Speaker 3: it's really good. Oh say, can you see by the
- 21:45Speaker 3: Dawn's early life? What's so proudly we hailed at the
- 21:49Speaker 3: twilight last? Who's broad stripes and bright stars through the
- 21:53Speaker 3: perilss fight or the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
- 21:59Speaker 2: And the rock gets red? Glare right, I'm right, bombs burst,
- 22:04Speaker 2: you're right, get proof roof that our flag was still
- 22:09Speaker 2: there there, Oh say, and all the rest of the words.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Yeah that's enough. I feel just patriotic enough.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Any guys like your cheese steaks? Uh, cheese whiz? Never no,
- 22:23Speaker 2: cheese wiz never never.
- 22:24Speaker 3: No.
- 22:25Speaker 2: I don't want to know cheese sauce on my cheese steak.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I want white American cheese. I want a cheese steak
- 22:30Speaker 2: the Lehigh Valley way. You like it with sauce, sauce onions, pickles,
- 22:33Speaker 2: hot peppers.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Do you like the sauce thing?
- 22:35Speaker 3: No, I go whizz and onions. Actually get I do
- 22:38Speaker 3: get red sauce on the side. They like dip it
- 22:40Speaker 3: in sometimes, but you usually go whizz and onions. I
- 22:42Speaker 3: just never liked it with sauce. I know it's a
- 22:44Speaker 3: very Lee High Valley thing to do. But you got
- 22:46Speaker 3: a Philadelphia, they don't have that down there. I mean
- 22:48Speaker 3: they have it at a option. Call it a pizza steak.
- 22:52Speaker 1: That's what I call it. A pizza steak, Cooper Sharp
- 22:54Speaker 1: on a seated roll.
- 22:56Speaker 2: I went to Philly and I got the this this
- 22:58Speaker 2: place went viral recently and with the help of that
- 23:00Speaker 2: guy from Barstool Sports, he like blew this place off. Yeah, anyway,
- 23:07Speaker 2: so he went, you know, he made this place very popular.
- 23:10Speaker 1: And uh.
- 23:11Speaker 2: It gets served on a seated roll, which was like
- 23:13Speaker 2: kind of like grilled, a little bit a little crispy,
- 23:15Speaker 2: so I had some crunch to it, and they scoop
- 23:17Speaker 2: out some of the bread in the middle to make
- 23:18Speaker 2: room for more meat. And it was Cooper Sharp, Cooper
- 23:21Speaker 2: Sharp and onion. It was fantastic. It was the best
- 23:24Speaker 2: cheeseteak I've ever had in my life.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Saw the video. I looked super delicious. Just cheese and onion,
- 23:29Speaker 3: and that's it for me.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Yes, But like the seasoning on the meat and stuff,
- 23:34Speaker 2: Oh my god, dude, it was like every every bite
- 23:37Speaker 2: had like so much flavor. Angelo's Pizzeria, South Philly sponsors sponsor.
- 23:43Speaker 2: I was in Philadelphia doing those things, not just getting
- 23:45Speaker 2: a ticket, but I got some cheese sticks and some pizza,
- 23:48Speaker 2: not going to pen medicine via ambulance, and we didn't
- 23:51Speaker 2: go to the No one choked on anything. My esophagus
- 23:54Speaker 2: is I guess not.
- 23:55Speaker 1: He doesn't have a what's it called again, eosinophilic espaitis, yeah,
- 24:01Speaker 1: flash cards. Just study that.
- 24:02Speaker 3: And I haven't been back since. I would like some redemption.
- 24:05Speaker 3: I'd like to go and survive and come home and
- 24:07Speaker 3: not have you know, and just say I went back.
- 24:10Speaker 3: I redeemed myself.
- 24:11Speaker 1: You haven't.
- 24:12Speaker 3: You haven't been back to Philadelphia since the hot dog incident. No,
- 24:15Speaker 3: I haven't been to an Eagles game since I've been
- 24:16Speaker 3: wanting to go. The prices are just too much. I mean,
- 24:19Speaker 3: I've never been to a football game. You've been to
- 24:22Speaker 3: a professional football game many many? We should, Yeah, for sure,
- 24:27Speaker 3: we've gone together, dude, It's so much fun. When we
- 24:30Speaker 3: saw Drew Brees freaking pick us pick the Eagles apart
- 24:32Speaker 3: in the playoffs in early January, I think it was
- 24:35Speaker 3: like twenty third what was it, twenty jan twenty sixteen,
- 24:39Speaker 3: out there in the cold, in the snow, and you
- 24:40Speaker 3: pay for that. We was like negative something negative.
- 24:44Speaker 1: So cold, count me out out.
- 24:47Speaker 2: That's just like when I have friends who are like, hey,
- 24:49Speaker 2: you want to go camping, It's like, no, absolutely, is
- 24:52Speaker 2: there running water?
- 24:53Speaker 1: No?
- 24:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I remember, I get that too.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I like, I like to go if I can, like
- 24:57Speaker 2: go camping, and I'll do the actual camping if we
- 24:59Speaker 2: really have to, I prefer air conditioning and you know, somewhere.
- 25:02Speaker 2: But anyway, if we have to do that, at least
- 25:03Speaker 2: the next day, I need to be able to use
- 25:05Speaker 2: a bathroom or shower, you know what I mean, Like
- 25:06Speaker 2: I need to have access to that.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Camping in a tent.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Yeah, my coachin or a boyfriend like hike some national
- 25:12Speaker 2: park and then like you know, backpack and sleeping.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Who's doing that the not me?
- 25:18Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 25:19Speaker 2: So people in the movies, Yeah, that was a brutal.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Speaking of movies, our mutual friend and your longtime friend

- 25:46Speaker 3: to bring back the R rated comedies like Grandma's Boy,
- 25:49Speaker 3: stuff like that and like super Bad. Yeah, so it's
- 25:53Speaker 3: an R rated like stoner comedy. So if you like
- 25:55Speaker 3: those kind of movies like Grandma's Boy, like the one

- 26:41Speaker 1: start with movies.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Since we're all talking about movies today, I got a

- 26:45Speaker 1: Here we go, question number one.

- 27:13Speaker 2: did the dude say he was once a roady?
- 27:20Speaker 3: I don't know who the dude is either. I've never
- 27:22Speaker 3: seen the movies. Came from a trivia But it's the
- 27:24Speaker 3: main character Bridges.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Who do I know him? What else is here? Jeff Bridges?
- 27:29Speaker 2: I want to say the Eagles. For some reason I
- 27:36Speaker 2: can't remember.
- 27:37Speaker 1: He was in a movie called Crazy Horse. Yeah.
- 27:39Speaker 3: I think it was crazy Yeah, Crazy Horse.
- 27:41Speaker 1: It was about a crazy horse.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Crazy Yeah. Oh man, I don't know. I'm going to
- 27:48Speaker 2: say the Eagles. I think it's the Eagles all right.
- 27:50Speaker 2: In the movie The Big Lebowski, for what legendary band
- 27:52Speaker 2: did the dude say he was once a roadie the Eagles?
- 27:56Speaker 1: Did I get it?
- 27:57Speaker 3: No?
- 27:58Speaker 1: Sounds skinnered? Is it now? Correct?
- 28:00Speaker 2: Answer is Metallica? Oh shit, Metallica. That was a good question.
- 28:05Speaker 2: What's The Big Lebowski even about? I have no idea.
- 28:07Speaker 2: It's about this guy who's just kind of like real
- 28:10Speaker 2: leg stoner.
- 28:11Speaker 1: He's like, everything's fine.
- 28:12Speaker 3: He's the dude.

- 28:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 28:37Speaker 4: Question two?
- 28:40Speaker 1: All right, music, another music related question.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 28:45Speaker 2: In the spring of nineteen eighty five, around forty one
- 28:49Speaker 2: years ago, the number one song in America was Don't
- 28:53Speaker 2: You Forget About Me? Of course, from the soundtrack of
- 28:56Speaker 2: The Breakfast Club. I have seen that movie. Add that

- 45:33Speaker 2: non movie watchers.
- 45:34Speaker 1: No, no, no, let me clear that up.
- 45:36Speaker 3: So essential to non movie watchers total recall Arnold Swartzenegger.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Maybe I have heard of that Sharon Stone. That's about
- 45:43Speaker 3: That's an essential movie. It's basically a guy who he's
- 45:48Speaker 3: kind of living a lie.
- 45:49Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 45:50Speaker 3: They chant implant a chip into his brain that gives
- 45:53Speaker 3: them different memories, and he goes through and live these
- 45:55Speaker 3: memories and he doesn't know what's real, what isn't real,
- 45:58Speaker 3: and he just takes a voyage to Mars and all
- 46:01Speaker 3: kinds of crazy stuff.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Now many time, it's pretty cool.
- 46:04Speaker 2: Maybe you have me until he went to Mars.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Now it sounds lame. I was interested until that.
- 46:10Speaker 3: Why does he have to go to Mars.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Another one is Big Trouble in Little China with Kurt Russell.
- 46:17Speaker 1: Never heard of it.
- 46:18Speaker 3: It's awesome.
- 46:19Speaker 1: I've heard of Bill, Bill Russell, Kurt Russell, Kim Katrol. Oh,
- 46:25Speaker 1: I know her.
- 46:25Speaker 3: She's in Checks in the Shitty right, yeah, Bill Bill
- 46:28Speaker 3: who Kurt Russell Hurt? Yeah, yeah, Jesus sorry, who's she? Do?
- 46:36Speaker 3: I know him?
- 46:37Speaker 1: He's very famous.
- 46:38Speaker 3: You know he's from Escape from New York. Thing is
- 46:41Speaker 3: Goldie Hans's husband. No, I'm Overboard. It's from Overboard as
- 46:46Speaker 3: well with Goldie Hans.
- 46:48Speaker 1: You don't know Goldie Hans.
- 46:50Speaker 3: No.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Big Trouble in little China. Yeah, what's that about.
- 46:55Speaker 3: It's it's another like it's martial arts, kind of supernatural.
- 47:01Speaker 3: Kurt Russell goes he finds like an underground like like
- 47:05Speaker 3: Gang it's basically like Gang Wars in China. But he
- 47:07Speaker 3: goes on like this underground layer to fight monsters. And
- 47:09Speaker 3: then this guy who kind of is like a magician
- 47:12Speaker 3: that's kind of like Shang Sung for Mortal Kombat. He
- 47:15Speaker 3: goes and fights him, and he captures Kim Katral and
- 47:18Speaker 3: he goes the Saver and there's monsters involved. So it's
- 47:21Speaker 3: all kinds of crazy stuff happening.
- 47:22Speaker 1: That also sounds like a tough sell. I've never heard
- 47:25Speaker 1: of that.
- 47:25Speaker 3: Do you think that's essential for non movie watchers? I
- 47:28Speaker 3: think so yeah, I think so.
- 47:30Speaker 1: All right? What else?
- 47:32Speaker 3: What about you? You have any input on this? Are
- 47:34Speaker 3: you gonna give me your own list?
- 47:35Speaker 2: I think everyone should watch True Lies? I love True Lies.
- 47:41Speaker 2: Arnold Schwarzenegger another Arnold movie. Well we grew up in
- 47:45Speaker 2: this time where this he was a you know, big
- 47:47Speaker 2: star and it was actually yeah, awesome back and then,
- 47:51Speaker 2: to be honest with you, I didn't realize that Arnold
- 47:53Speaker 2: Schwarzenegger was in more than like the Terminator.
- 47:58Speaker 3: About Conan and the Barbarian never familiar. No, never heard
- 48:01Speaker 3: about red Sonya.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Never heard of it anyway.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Arnold Schwarzenegger teams up with Roseanne Barr's ex husband.
- 48:08Speaker 3: What was this his name?
- 48:10Speaker 1: You know? Yeah?
- 48:12Speaker 3: That guy?
- 48:14Speaker 2: All right, he's like Arnie in the show Tom uh
- 48:18Speaker 2: Tom Arnold, thank you, thank you. They're cops and like
- 48:21Speaker 2: they they're like spies and stuff, and they keep their
- 48:24Speaker 2: lives away from their families. True lies. Yeah, all right,
- 48:28Speaker 2: that sounds okay. Does he go to Jamie whatever? Emi
- 48:31Speaker 2: Lee Curtis is in it? No, Jupiter Vision, No, they're not.
- 48:34Speaker 2: They're on Earth the whole time.
- 48:35Speaker 1: Okayo.
- 48:36Speaker 2: Yeah, very good movie, very fun movie. And it's pretty
- 48:38Speaker 2: funny actually. But it's an action comedy comedy.
- 48:42Speaker 1: What else? Never never ending story, never end. It's a
- 48:46Speaker 1: great one. Yeah, did you see that.
- 48:49Speaker 3: It's about a kid who reads a book and he
- 48:51Speaker 3: basically the book kind of comes to life, like he's
- 48:53Speaker 3: reading the book as himself and the story, but he
- 48:56Speaker 3: realizes throughout the story they're actually talking about him, and
- 48:59Speaker 3: he getskind of brought into this world and pretty cool.
- 49:03Speaker 2: It's kind of like what's it called the Notebook? That's
- 49:05Speaker 2: another good one. Never ending story. Never ending story. Don't
- 49:08Speaker 2: sound like it's ninety minutes or less, but okay, it's
- 49:12Speaker 2: it is.
- 49:13Speaker 3: I believe never ending story. I'm going to say, yeah,
- 49:17Speaker 3: it's never ending. Now it took you a while to that.
- 49:20Speaker 3: I'm going to say eighty seven minutes. Google it pretty
- 49:24Speaker 3: sure it's eighty seve I'm gonna say eighty six. Man.
- 49:26Speaker 3: I could bring it up on my letterbox d app,
- 49:28Speaker 3: which I log every movie I watch. So every time
- 49:30Speaker 3: I watch something, I log it, I give it a
- 49:32Speaker 3: star rating or thirty four. Wow, our thirty four.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Look at you, man, you're getting better with numbers by
- 49:39Speaker 1: the week.
- 49:40Speaker 3: This is great. I'm so proud of you. Yeah, do
- 49:42Speaker 3: you have any other questions? What are we? What are we?
- 49:43Speaker 3: Where are we at?
- 49:44Speaker 1: In the show, we were.
- 49:45Speaker 3: Just bullshitting about movies that I should watch.
- 49:47Speaker 1: It probably won't.
- 49:48Speaker 2: I can't believe you say, like you have The Godfather,
- 49:50Speaker 2: I've never seen that. I've tried, man, I never.
- 49:52Speaker 1: Seen it either.
- 49:52Speaker 2: I haven't seen so they had they had like a
- 49:54Speaker 2: fiftieth anniversary like screening at the Movies recently, and he
- 49:58Speaker 2: found out that it was over three hours long, and
- 50:00Speaker 2: he was like, I'm not gonna go.
- 50:01Speaker 1: To that.
- 50:03Speaker 2: Three hours. Who has three hours of shit and watch
- 50:07Speaker 2: a movie. It's a piece of art for its time. Listen, listen, listen,
- 50:10Speaker 2: But I understand you don't have to watch it. I
- 50:13Speaker 2: think it's very slow moving for my taste. And isn't
- 50:15Speaker 2: there like seven of them is a bunch of them.
- 50:18Speaker 2: My problem is my my attention span is just not there.
- 50:21Speaker 2: You want to hold my attention, it's gotta be good
- 50:23Speaker 2: music or somebody getting murdered. That sounds bad, but it's
- 50:26Speaker 2: the truth I need, like true crime or a good soundtrack, not.
- 50:29Speaker 3: A psychopath at all.
- 50:32Speaker 1: It's time for you, all right, We're gonna eat my
- 50:38Speaker 1: favorite snack of all time.
- 50:39Speaker 2: The first and only snack you've contributed, by the way
- 50:43Speaker 2: to the mounchy minute.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Better late than never.
- 50:45Speaker 2: Yeah, we talked about this. I think was it two
- 50:48Speaker 2: episodes ago or last episode? I forget but.
- 50:52Speaker 1: Nutella and club crackers.
- 50:54Speaker 2: But like the brand name club crackers. Yeah, like the
- 50:57Speaker 2: good stuff. They're the buttery like they're like buttery right,
- 50:59Speaker 2: very yeah?
- 51:01Speaker 3: Are they a little seasoned? To my wrong about that?
- 51:02Speaker 2: I got the original ones, so no, that's fine. But
- 51:04Speaker 2: they have like seventeen flavors. Now, do you like new.
- 51:07Speaker 3: Teler I do. I've never had it with the Club
- 51:09Speaker 3: crackers before, but I've had it with those Lotus Bischoff biscuits.
- 51:12Speaker 3: I've ever had any tellow with the Bischoff biscuits. Is
- 51:14Speaker 3: that how you say Bischoff Lotus? Like Eric Bischoff from WCW.
- 51:18Speaker 3: That's always caught. But I also brought a couple of
- 51:21Speaker 3: things for the for the MUNCHI minute, What did you bring?
- 51:24Speaker 3: My wife and I went to the Eastern PA Home
- 51:27Speaker 3: show at the Agriplex and they randomly this weekend, they
- 51:30Speaker 3: randomly had a vendor selling fudge and these cashoes or
- 51:34Speaker 3: Buffalo Ranch cashoes. So if you guys like cashews, give
- 51:39Speaker 3: those a try, thank you. And we made some brownies
- 51:42Speaker 3: over the weekend. So these are just regular brownies, chocolate brownies,
- 51:46Speaker 3: just brownie brownies. Yeah, yeah, if you guys are interested,
- 51:50Speaker 3: they're the chewy fudge brownies.
- 51:52Speaker 2: Oh that looks great. They look really good. Bad, I
- 51:54Speaker 2: don't know what I want to eat first. That's dessert
- 51:56Speaker 2: for me. I'll take one of those after we try
- 51:58Speaker 2: some other stuff. All right, what do you want to
- 51:59Speaker 2: do for Let's do the nutella with the club crackers.
- 52:02Speaker 2: I want to try some of these nuts. So here, here, here,
- 52:04Speaker 2: here's the nuts in you. He's so like when you
- 52:08Speaker 2: do so all right, this is one of your favorite snacks, right, yeah,
- 52:11Speaker 2: So tell me what is your process? Like everyone eats
- 52:14Speaker 2: snacks a different way, in a certain way, and you
- 52:15Speaker 2: can just be honest. How do you literally take a
- 52:17Speaker 2: little sandwich? I buy the little thing of nutella. No,
- 52:19Speaker 2: not even I take two club crackers and I do
- 52:22Speaker 2: like a quick dip so that it's just the top.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Of them and it's kind of in the middle too. Right, yep,
- 52:26Speaker 1: that's what you do. Just like that.
- 52:27Speaker 2: That is so good. Told you, Oh my god, told you.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Oh more of that. It's like a homemade kick cab bar.
- 52:33Speaker 2: Right yeah here, Lucy, if I give you a club cracker,
- 52:37Speaker 2: go the hell away.
