Latest / The Vault: The Epstein Files / Why Won't The BOP Or The DOJ Offer Any Clarity On The Ghislaine Maxwell Transfer?
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. As the days tick by, it's become relatively
- 0:07Speaker 1: apparent that the government is not going to tell us
- 0:11Speaker 1: a single thing about what motivated the Glen Maxwell transfer.
- 0:15Speaker 1: You'd think that a move involving a woman that was
- 0:19Speaker 1: convicted of trafficking children to Jeffrey Epstein and abusing them
- 0:23Speaker 1: would come with full transparency. Right well wrong. The DOJ
- 0:27Speaker 1: won't say a word. The Bureau of Prisons quiet as
- 0:30Speaker 1: the morgue. They have zipped their lips tighter than the files,
- 0:33Speaker 1: they still refuse to unseal. And that silence, that vacuum
- 0:37Speaker 1: of honesty, isn't because they don't know what to say.
- 0:39Speaker 1: It's because they don't want to say it. And that's
- 0:41Speaker 1: because it's the establishment staring straight at the public and
- 0:44Speaker 1: saying we don't respect you. They think you'll accept this
- 0:48Speaker 1: like you've accepted every other insult to justice that's come
- 0:51Speaker 1: before it. They don't think you're sharp enough to connect
- 0:54Speaker 1: the dots. They assume you won't notice the transfer. This special, unexplained,
- 0:58Speaker 1: hush hush arrangement fits neatly into the same old pattern
- 1:01Speaker 1: of cover, protect and I repeat They believe that if
- 1:05Speaker 1: they stay silent long enough, if they feed the public
- 1:07Speaker 1: just enough scraps of vague official language, we'll get bored
- 1:11Speaker 1: move on. But they're wrong, because let's not forget what's
- 1:15Speaker 1: really happening here. There are no other cases, none where
- 1:18Speaker 1: a convicted human trafficker of miners gets this kind of
- 1:21Speaker 1: pampering from the Bureau of Prisons. None. People who do
- 1:24Speaker 1: half of what Maxwell did are rotting in concrete cells
- 1:28Speaker 1: without sunlight or privileges. And yet somehow, this woman who
- 1:32Speaker 1: supplied children to predators walks a gentler path through the system.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Ask yourself why, Because it's not about safety or logistics
- 1:41Speaker 1: or prison management. It's about power. It's about who she knows,
- 1:46Speaker 1: what she knows, and the people who want to keep
- 1:48Speaker 1: all of that silent. So when the DJ stays quiet,
- 1:52Speaker 1: when the BOP refuses to answer basic questions, when the
- 1:55Speaker 1: so called most transparent administration in history hides behind press
- 1:59Speaker 1: releases and bureaucratic fog, understand what they're really saying. We're
- 2:03Speaker 1: still protecting her, We're still protecting them. The same government
- 2:07Speaker 1: that told you that Epstein killed himself and expected you
- 2:10Speaker 1: to swallow it whole is now asking you to believe
- 2:12Speaker 1: that there's nothing to see here again. And what makes
- 2:16Speaker 1: it worse, they genuinely believe that you're gonna buy it.
- 2:20Speaker 1: They think you'll shrug, scroll past and forget. They don't
- 2:23Speaker 1: respect you, They don't think you're smart enough to realize
- 2:25Speaker 1: that this is another act in the same sick play.
- 2:29Speaker 1: The only thing more insulting than the cover up itself
- 2:32Speaker 1: is there a confidence that you'll let them get away
- 2:34Speaker 1: with it, because in their eyes, you're not a citizen
- 2:37Speaker 1: to be informed, You're an audience to be managed. And
- 2:40Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell's transfer, that's not just a story. It's the
- 2:43Speaker 1: latest reminder that the system isn't broken. It's functioning exactly
- 2:48Speaker 1: as they designed. Today's article is from Alternate and the
- 2:53Speaker 1: headline Prison's massive Maxwell cover up came from the White House.
- 3:00Speaker 1: This article was authored by Leslie A. Bravenel, a federal
- 3:06Speaker 1: prison consultant, has revealed to The Deli Beast in a
- 3:08Speaker 1: piece entitled prison is running massive Glenn Maxwell cover up
- 3:12Speaker 1: for Trump that Glenn Maxwell, cohort of the late Jeffrey Epstein,
- 3:16Speaker 1: was moved to a country club prison after an order
- 3:19Speaker 1: came from well above their heads. That sounds very likely
- 3:25Speaker 1: because we had all this time where Glenn Maxwell was
- 3:28Speaker 1: in tallahassee, right, there was never any thought or talk
- 3:31Speaker 1: about her being moved. Then all of a sudden she
- 3:34Speaker 1: has her little chat with Todd, baby Billy Blanche, has
- 3:37Speaker 1: her little Chick fil A session, and then all of
- 3:40Speaker 1: a sudden she gets moved to the biggest club fed
- 3:43Speaker 1: in the country for women. Why how come Glenn Maxwell
- 3:48Speaker 1: gets this privilege and somebody else doesn't. What about your
- 3:52Speaker 1: aunt or your cousin or whoever, People that didn't commit
- 3:57Speaker 1: violent crimes, people that didn't deliver children to monsters, They're
- 4:01Speaker 1: not getting moved. They're told to suck it up, They're
- 4:04Speaker 1: told to deal with it. They're told that this is punishment.
- 4:07Speaker 1: You've been convicted. Now, that's just the way it is.
- 4:12Speaker 1: But somehow, some way, we're supposed to sit here and
- 4:14Speaker 1: just accept this, except that Gallaine Maxwell is getting all
- 4:18Speaker 1: the special privilege that Glainne Maxwell is able to be moved,
- 4:22Speaker 1: and they don't owe us an explanation as to why
- 4:25Speaker 1: not even a halfway decent explanation, right, nothing, And then
- 4:29Speaker 1: on top of that, to call you crazy for wanting
- 4:32Speaker 1: to know the answer, to call people not loyal to
- 4:37Speaker 1: the administration or to MAGO, whatever that means, because they
- 4:41Speaker 1: want answers here. The whole entire thing's garbage. And if
- 4:45Speaker 1: they think we're just gonna sit here and not ask
- 4:48Speaker 1: any questions and demand any answers about Glainne Maxwell's transfer,
- 4:51Speaker 1: they got another thing coming. They need to remember who
- 4:54Speaker 1: pays the bills around here, and it's not them. They've
- 4:57Speaker 1: forgotten that. Their employees. They think they're the is, you know,
- 5:00Speaker 1: minor kings running around these bureaucrats and they can make
- 5:04Speaker 1: whatever decision they want and nobody's ever gonna hold them accountable.
- 5:07Speaker 1: And that's because for all this time nobody has. But
- 5:11Speaker 1: not this time around. You're not getting away with transferring
- 5:14Speaker 1: a child molesting, human trafficker to club Fed and not
- 5:18Speaker 1: giving us any answers as to why. And look, I'm
- 5:21Speaker 1: not saying I won't accept the answers that they give us.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I don't know, we haven't heard any yet. But what
- 5:27Speaker 1: I won't accept is complete silence. That is completely unacceptable
- 5:32Speaker 1: and it's not even negotiable. Sam Mangle, a former inmate
- 5:36Speaker 1: turned prison consultant for high profile names like Steve Bannon
- 5:40Speaker 1: and Peter Navarro, told The Daily Beat podcast at the
- 5:43Speaker 1: Bureau of Prisons said that in Maxwell's case, they disregarded
- 5:48Speaker 1: protocol to MOVERR two fancier digs one hundred percent. They'll
- 5:52Speaker 1: say it with security, and that's gonna be the excuse.
- 5:55Speaker 1: But who's buying that. She was already in the honor
- 5:57Speaker 1: dorm at Tallahassee all of a sudden moving her over
- 6:01Speaker 1: to Brian is going to make things much safer for
- 6:05Speaker 1: in reality, it's just costing the taxpayer more money, had
- 6:08Speaker 1: to beef up security, bring in more staff, the whole thing.
- 6:11Speaker 1: They're not set up to deal with somebody like Maxwell.
- 6:15Speaker 1: According to The Daily Beast, they took the rare step
- 6:19Speaker 1: of waiving the public safety factor related to her sex
- 6:22Speaker 1: crime conviction to overcome a very severe restriction that would
- 6:25Speaker 1: have prevented her transfer to a minimum security prison in
- 6:28Speaker 1: Texas from a federal prison in Florida. Like what, why
- 6:34Speaker 1: in the world would you do that? There is no
- 6:36Speaker 1: explanation for it. She didn't give you any actionable intelligence.
- 6:41Speaker 1: So what it looks like is that Glaine Maxwell was
- 6:43Speaker 1: leading the dance. Her and her lawyer said, look, we'll
- 6:46Speaker 1: talk to you, but we need compensation. You're gonna need
- 6:49Speaker 1: to move us to a better facility as we battle
- 6:52Speaker 1: for Glaine's release, And if you do that, then Glaine's
- 6:54Speaker 1: gonna be candid with you. Meanwhile, everybody knew Glane wasn't
- 6:59Speaker 1: going to offer up shit, and that's why I say
- 7:01Speaker 1: it's just another act in the long running cover up.
- 7:03Speaker 1: The Supreme Court declined to hear Maxwell's appeal, meaning, minus
- 7:07Speaker 1: a coveted pardon from President Donald Trump, the former socialite
- 7:11Speaker 1: will serve twenty years in Brian the Texas Federal prison
- 7:14Speaker 1: camp or privilege that Mangle says is unheard of, well
- 7:18Speaker 1: until a new president gets elected. Then if arbitrarily they
- 7:23Speaker 1: can move Glenn Maxwell to this facility, then the new
- 7:25Speaker 1: president and their DOJ can move her out of here
- 7:28Speaker 1: right and put her in I don't know, medium security.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Why not if that's the game that's going to be played.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Anything involving a sexual act is the most serious or
- 7:38Speaker 1: one of the most serious public safety factors someone can
- 7:41Speaker 1: have on them, and that specifically precludes an individual from
- 7:45Speaker 1: serving their time in a camp. Mangle told The Daily
- 7:47Speaker 1: Beasts podcast host Joanna Coles. I've helped thousands of people.
- 7:52Speaker 1: They will not waive that public safety factor. He said
- 7:55Speaker 1: of the BOP, So getting your transfer to a camp
- 7:59Speaker 1: is crazy one thousand percent. I've talked to many, many
- 8:03Speaker 1: people who have a lot of experience in the federal
- 8:05Speaker 1: prison system, and this is something that is so out
- 8:09Speaker 1: of bounds, something that's so not right that it's almost
- 8:13Speaker 1: hard to quantify. Somebody who has been not accused convicted
- 8:19Speaker 1: of what Calayne Maxwell is convicted of should not be
- 8:22Speaker 1: moved to some camp. In fact, if anything, she should
- 8:26Speaker 1: be moved to a higher security facility. Other inmates sharing
- 8:30Speaker 1: dorm like accommodations in the camp are former Real Housewives
- 8:33Speaker 1: cast members and the rano's fraud star Elizabeth Holmes. Most recently,
- 8:38Speaker 1: reports have seen a very relaxed Maxwell heading to yoga
- 8:41Speaker 1: class within the camp. Must be nice, huh. Nice and
- 8:44Speaker 1: relaxed running around at your little getaway camp. Now. Look,
- 8:48Speaker 1: it's a long way away from the lapse of luxury
- 8:50Speaker 1: that Maxwell was used to, but it's also a long
- 8:53Speaker 1: way away from where Maxwell should be at. She shouldn't
- 8:57Speaker 1: be getting yoga classes and shit, she should be assigned
- 8:59Speaker 1: some menial task within the prison, cooking food, cleaning, laundry,
- 9:05Speaker 1: something like that. This is a woman who needs to
- 9:07Speaker 1: be taught some humility. The August transfer of Maxwell from
- 9:12Speaker 1: a federal correctional institution in Tallahassee, Florida, came following an
- 9:16Speaker 1: unprecedented hours long interview with Trump appointed Deputy Attorney General
- 9:21Speaker 1: Todd Baby Billy Blanche. That move, Mangle said, was well
- 9:25Speaker 1: coordinated and came from inside the White House one thousand percent.
- 9:29Speaker 1: And the whole idea was to try and blunt the
- 9:32Speaker 1: optics and try and kill some of the criticism by saying, look,
- 9:35Speaker 1: Laine Maxwell says that so and so isn't guilty. The
- 9:39Speaker 1: only problem for the White House and the people who
- 9:41Speaker 1: thought that was gonna work is that Glaine Maxwell is
- 9:44Speaker 1: a notorious liar. So why should I believe anything Alaine
- 9:48Speaker 1: Maxwell has to say, especially when she's benefiting from the lies.
- 9:53Speaker 1: So if you want to believe a convicted child trafficker,
- 9:56Speaker 1: that's on you. Me personally, never gonna happen, Mangle said,
- 10:02Speaker 1: Trump appointees BOP Director William Marshall and deputy director Joshua
- 10:06Speaker 1: Smith really tried to clean everything up, get things moving
- 10:10Speaker 1: in the proper direction. So it's my understanding that the
- 10:13Speaker 1: directive to move her to a minimum security camp. Brian
- 10:16Speaker 1: came from well above their heads, he said. Mangele said
- 10:20Speaker 1: that whatever Maxwell promised Blanche was well rewarded and protected.
- 10:24Speaker 1: What exactly did she promise them? We didn't get anything
- 10:27Speaker 1: from it, So it's a bunch of whoey. It was
- 10:30Speaker 1: all about giving Maxwell accommodation. That's what it comes down to.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I truly believe that once she started cooperating the Bureau
- 10:38Speaker 1: of Prisons at the mover, he said, it was the
- 10:41Speaker 1: only solution for the Bureau of Prisons if their goal
- 10:43Speaker 1: was to keep her safe and alive. If they moved
- 10:45Speaker 1: her to another low security facility, they would have had
- 10:48Speaker 1: the same challenges. Speculation that Trump would pardon Maxwell has
- 10:53Speaker 1: been swirling, despite the President denying he even remembers Maxwell,
- 10:57Speaker 1: but Mangle said that Trump likely has given Maxwell a
- 11:00Speaker 1: lot already and that he may just be the beginning.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I have to imagine that getting her to Brian was
- 11:06Speaker 1: the starting point to getting her out of custody, whether
- 11:08Speaker 1: through commutation or pardon. It just seems to me that
- 11:11Speaker 1: if you don't move somebody to that type of facility
- 11:14Speaker 1: with this kind of protection and precautions, if you're not
- 11:16Speaker 1: overly concerned about her safety and what she has to say,
- 11:20Speaker 1: and offer Mangle said. So my guess and purely speculation,
- 11:24Speaker 1: is that at some point she will receive some form
- 11:26Speaker 1: of clemency. Well, who knows, I mean, does anyone really
- 11:31Speaker 1: put it past Donald Trump at this point? I don't
- 11:34Speaker 1: Who the hell knows what this guy's gonna do. What
- 11:36Speaker 1: I do know is this, Glenn Maxwell being moved was
- 11:40Speaker 1: not a good idea. I don't buy the whole security nonsense.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I think that Tallahassee would have been more than suitable
- 11:48Speaker 1: for Glenn Maxwell's security, and I think that moving her
- 11:51Speaker 1: to Brian is a slap in the face to everybody
- 11:54Speaker 1: but the survivors especially. And that's the part that sticks
- 11:58Speaker 1: with you, isn't it the air the absolute audacity of
- 12:02Speaker 1: a system that still thinks it can gaslight the public
- 12:04Speaker 1: into believing that this is normal. Klainne Maxwell, a convicted
- 12:08Speaker 1: human trafficker, a woman who enabled abuse of children, is
- 12:12Speaker 1: being treated like some misunderstood socialite and witness protection. Meanwhile,
- 12:17Speaker 1: every agency that's supposed to stand for justice is hiding
- 12:20Speaker 1: behind the curtain, pretending that moving or around like a
- 12:22Speaker 1: chess piece is just procedure. But let's call it what
- 12:26Speaker 1: it is. This is in procedure. It's protection. It's the
- 12:29Speaker 1: final layer of insulation around the network that should have
- 12:32Speaker 1: been exposed years ago. The DOJ knows it, The Bureau
- 12:35Speaker 1: of Prison knows it. Hell, everyone in DC knows it.
- 12:40Speaker 1: They just don't care that you know it too. They
- 12:42Speaker 1: think this ends with a shrug, with the public tuning out,
- 12:45Speaker 1: with headlines fading, and the cover up cemented in place,
- 12:49Speaker 1: because in their minds, you're too distracted, too tired, too
- 12:52Speaker 1: beaten down to keep asking questions. But here's the thing, people, remember,
- 12:57Speaker 1: people talk. You can't quietly relocate a monster like Elaine
- 13:01Speaker 1: Maxwell and expect the world to just nod along, not anymore,
- 13:05Speaker 1: not after everything. So when the government hides behind silence,
- 13:10Speaker 1: when the most transparent administration in history can't give a
- 13:13Speaker 1: straight answer about why a child trafficker is getting white
- 13:15Speaker 1: glove treatment, remember this. That silence is the sound of guilt.
- 13:20Speaker 1: It's the sound of a system protecting itself, not you.
- 13:23Speaker 1: And the message they're sending couldn't be clearer. They don't
- 13:26Speaker 1: respect you, they never did, and they're betting you won't notice.
- 13:30Speaker 1: But maybe, just maybe, this time, they're wrong, because people
- 13:34Speaker 1: are watching, people are connecting the dots and if there's
- 13:38Speaker 1: one thing this story keeps proving, it's that no matter
- 13:41Speaker 1: how hard they try to bury the truth, the rot
- 13:44Speaker 1: always finds its way to the surface. All of the
- 13:48Speaker 1: information that goes with this episode can be found in
- 13:51Speaker 1: the description box.
