- 0:49Speaker 1: Everybody happy Monday. I hope you had a great weekend
- 0:55Speaker 1: and you're ready for a great week. Monday's Monday, and
- 0:59Speaker 1: meet today, so I hope yours is going much better.
- 1:03Speaker 1: I am Terry True Crime and welcome to Midday Missing,
- 1:06Speaker 1: where we highlight current missing person cases that need more attention.
- 1:12Speaker 1: And if you are new here, Midday Missing is part
- 1:16Speaker 1: of TCWT Media and the whole point of Midday Missing.
- 1:21Speaker 1: We are dedicated to raising awareness for missing person cases
- 1:26Speaker 1: every Monday and Wednesday at noon Central. However, for the
- 1:31Speaker 1: next six to eight weeks potentially on our channel, we
- 1:37Speaker 1: have lama Is live streaming the Karen Reid trial, so
- 1:41Speaker 1: Midday Missing will go live when they go on lunch break,
- 1:45Speaker 1: so it'll be any time between noon and one Central.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Just wanted everybody to know that, so don't come at
- 1:54Speaker 1: us if we're a little early or a little late.
- 1:57Speaker 1: The best thing to do is hit that notification button
- 2:00Speaker 1: because it will notify you when we go live. Okay,
- 2:05Speaker 1: so be sure to hit the like button because apparently
- 2:09Speaker 1: there's this thing called algorithm math and by you hitting
- 2:13Speaker 1: the light butting or chatting in the chat somehow maths
- 2:18Speaker 1: to do something good. I don't math. We all know that,
- 2:22Speaker 1: So let's just go do it and know that it's
- 2:25Speaker 1: going to work now. As always, our cases that we
- 2:30Speaker 1: cover on Midday Missing are truly heartbreaking, and I can't
- 2:35Speaker 1: say that we've covered one yet that didn't just rip
- 2:38Speaker 1: my heart out. Well, guys, guess what today is no different? Okay,
- 2:43Speaker 1: So first up, Jeremiah George Hugger was just four years
- 2:49Speaker 1: old when he vanished without a trace on a summer
- 2:53Speaker 1: afternoon in nineteen eighty five. Guys. He lived in the Bronx,
- 2:58Speaker 1: New York with his grandmother, who she had legal custody
- 3:02Speaker 1: of him. But despite grandmother having legal custody, Jeremiah remained
- 3:08Speaker 1: close with his mother, who visited often and stayed deeply
- 3:13Speaker 1: involved in his life. Okay, so it's not like she
- 3:17Speaker 1: just pissed appeared on him. And yes, I said pissed appeared.
- 3:21Speaker 1: It's my word now. On June twenty fifth, nineteen eighty five,
- 3:26Speaker 1: it was just an ordinary day in the Twin Parks
- 3:30Speaker 1: Housing Project, which is a sprawling set of apartment buildings
- 3:34Speaker 1: that are tucked into the busy city. If I had
- 3:37Speaker 1: to guess, guys, I want to go on a lemon
- 3:39Speaker 1: say seven hundred square feet. Okay, but that could just
- 3:42Speaker 1: be me mathing again. Now, Jeremiah was wearing a light
- 3:46Speaker 1: blue shirt, dark blue shorts, and white sneakers. That afternoon,
- 3:52Speaker 1: Jeremiah was playing in the sand lot behind his grandmother's building,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and it was a familiar and seemingly safe place, and
- 4:02Speaker 1: it was visible from the third story window. Now, his
- 4:06Speaker 1: mother had watched him from above, checking on him as
- 4:10Speaker 1: he played with friends. A little later, she left the
- 4:13Speaker 1: apartment briefly with the male relative to go shopping, trusting
- 4:18Speaker 1: that Jeremiah would be safe among familiar faces. Now, around
- 4:24Speaker 1: four point thirty PM, while Jeremiah played in the sand,
- 4:28Speaker 1: witnesses other children from the building later recalled seeing something chilling.
- 4:35Speaker 1: A man approached Jeremiah. So black man who seemed to
- 4:39Speaker 1: know him, called Jeremiah by his name. When Jeremiah responded
- 4:44Speaker 1: and went towards the man, he picked the boy up,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and then they were both gone, guys, just like that,
- 4:55Speaker 1: gone without any screaming, without fighting. Jeremiah was taken away
- 5:02Speaker 1: and he has never been seen again. Now. At first,
- 5:07Speaker 1: when Jeremiah's grandmother noticed he was missing from the playground,
- 5:11Speaker 1: she assumed he had gone off with his mother. It
- 5:14Speaker 1: wasn't until his mother returned from the shopping trip without
- 5:18Speaker 1: Jeremiah that panic set in. They searched everywhere that they
- 5:23Speaker 1: could think of, calling out for him, looking under stairs,
- 5:27Speaker 1: behind bushes, checking with neighbors. Guys. They were frantically doing everything. Okay.
- 5:35Speaker 1: When their frantic search turned up nothing, they contacted the police. Now,
- 5:41Speaker 1: the investigation moved very quickly. At first, officers canvassed the
- 5:46Speaker 1: Twin Parks complex in nearby areas, hoping someone had seen something,
- 5:53Speaker 1: But the only eyewitnesses were children, and they were only
- 5:58Speaker 1: able to give a general description of the man, a
- 6:01Speaker 1: black male who knew Jeremiah's name. No solid leads emerged, guys,
- 6:07Speaker 1: and despite their best efforts, authorities could not find a
- 6:12Speaker 1: clear trail. I mean, there was no CCTV footage in
- 6:18Speaker 1: nineteen eighty five. Okay, there was no forensic breakthroughs waiting
- 6:23Speaker 1: just around the corner. There was just this heavy, unbearable
- 6:28Speaker 1: silence that falls when a child disappears. Now, as always,
- 6:35Speaker 1: rumors and theories begin to swirl. Okay. Some believe Jeremiah
- 6:40Speaker 1: had been abducted and sold, which is unthinkable, But guys, sadly,
- 6:48Speaker 1: that is not unheard of Okay in that error and
- 6:52Speaker 1: in today's time now her mother had His mother had
- 6:56Speaker 1: her own suspicions. She believed that in an abusive form
- 7:00Speaker 1: or boyfriend who had once threatened to take Jeremiah away
- 7:03Speaker 1: from her, was responsible. But despite her suspicions, no arrest
- 7:10Speaker 1: were ever made, no suspect has officially been named, and
- 7:15Speaker 1: no trace of Jeremiah. I mean, not a shoe, not
- 7:19Speaker 1: a toy. There's not been a single scrap of evidence
- 7:23Speaker 1: ever found. In the decades that followed, Jeremiah's family carried
- 7:29Speaker 1: unimaginable grief. Guys, I still don't know how these families
- 7:34Speaker 1: do it. His disappearance shattered their lives, his mother struggling
- 7:39Speaker 1: with the pain that old personal demons, But later she
- 7:44Speaker 1: did find her way to healing and recovery, always clinging
- 7:48Speaker 1: to the hope that her son might one day be found.
- 7:54Speaker 1: And guys, I have to agree with mss. Look at
- 7:58Speaker 1: that adorable little thing. Those cheeks. I just want to
- 8:02Speaker 1: squeeze those little cheeks, so adorable. Now today, nearly forty
- 8:08Speaker 1: years later, Jeremiah Georgia's Hugar's case remains open with the NYPD.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Now an age progression photo created by a forensic artist
- 8:20Speaker 1: shows what he might look like today at forty one
- 8:24Speaker 1: years old. I mean a grown man who should have
- 8:28Speaker 1: had a life filled with milestones, birthday's memories. Instead, it's
- 8:34Speaker 1: a life that's been stolen away. Authorities continue to urge
- 8:40Speaker 1: the public if you know anything about the disappearance of Jeremiah,
- 8:45Speaker 1: no matter how small the details, please come forward, even
- 8:50Speaker 1: if it's a rumor. You've heard someone who's passed away
- 8:54Speaker 1: and they told you something years ago. You don't understand
- 8:57Speaker 1: every little piece of information is important. Okay, Now you
- 9:02Speaker 1: can contact the NYPD Missing Person Squad and their numbers
- 9:09Speaker 1: on the screen. I forgot to write it down. I
- 9:11Speaker 1: can't really see it. I think it's eight hundred five
- 9:14Speaker 1: seven seven tips. If that's wrong, read what's on screen,
- 9:18Speaker 1: not what I just said. Now, Jeremiah's story is a
- 9:22Speaker 1: reminder of how quickly a life can vanish, and how
- 9:27Speaker 1: vital it is that we keep speaking the names of
- 9:31Speaker 1: the missing, even after decades. Someone knows what happened that day. Guys,
- 9:40Speaker 1: I want you to think about those children who are
- 9:42Speaker 1: out there playing. Think of how this has impacted their life.
- 9:48Speaker 1: They have to live with the knowledge they just sat
- 9:52Speaker 1: and watched it happen they were children, But can you
- 9:55Speaker 1: imagine what that would be like? I cain't so. Guys,
- 10:03Speaker 1: if you know of or you have a loved one
- 10:06Speaker 1: missing and you are interested in having their story featured
- 10:09Speaker 1: on an upcoming episode, or maybe join us for a
- 10:13Speaker 1: live interview, contact Amy, our assistant producer, by emailing Amy
- 10:19Speaker 1: at tcwtmedia dot com, or you can send us a
- 10:23Speaker 1: DM on our Facebook page or reach out to me
- 10:27Speaker 1: Terry Truecrime on social media anywhere. Now, because we like
- 10:34Speaker 1: to stay where we're at, we are going to just
- 10:37Speaker 1: stay in New York, Okay. Our next case is the
- 10:41Speaker 1: story of a young woman who disappeared from New York
- 10:44Speaker 1: City under very unsettling circumstances. Guys, her name is Cassandra
- 10:52Speaker 1: Brianna Ramirez. I love that name, and her case remains
- 10:57Speaker 1: open and it is surrounded by some very troubling questions.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Cassandra Rameres was born on March fifteenth, nineteen ninety three.
- 11:08Speaker 1: She was twenty five years old when she went missing,
- 11:11Speaker 1: and she was standing between five foot two and five
- 11:15Speaker 1: foot three, and I'm going to say she wants to
- 11:17Speaker 1: push it more to the five foot three, and she
- 11:19Speaker 1: weighed between one hundred and one hundred and thirty pounds.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Cassandra had brown hairs, brown eyes, and a strong vibrant personality.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Look at that side eye. I have to tell you
- 11:34Speaker 1: I like Cassandra sideye she I. I'm here for it.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Cassandra Now. She had several distinctive tattoos, including the pisces
- 11:44Speaker 1: astrollical sign on her hip, a tribal design on her arm,
- 11:49Speaker 1: and the words Jay Jaden Aziah eleven sixteen twenty ten
- 11:56Speaker 1: to eleven twenty eight, twenty ten, a tribute to her son.
- 12:04Speaker 1: She also had numerous scars from past injuries, including a
- 12:09Speaker 1: a sisesarean section scar, and scar from eight previous stab wounds. Okay, guys,
- 12:17Speaker 1: you heard me, eight previous stab wounds. This Cassandra oh. Now.
- 12:26Speaker 1: And she had a unique birthmark on her abdomen that
- 12:29Speaker 1: was shaped like Puerto Rico. Okay now. Her ears, tongues,
- 12:35Speaker 1: and naval were pierced, and she spoke both English and
- 12:38Speaker 1: Spanish fluently. Now Her family and friends called her Cassie. Now.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Cassandra lived in the Bronx, New York, and had recently
- 12:49Speaker 1: secured a new job that she was excited to begin.
- 12:53Speaker 1: She was working hard to rebuild her life for her son,
- 12:58Speaker 1: and despite facing pass hardships, including periods of homelessness, Cassandra
- 13:04Speaker 1: had graduated from culinary school and was determined to have
- 13:09Speaker 1: a better future. Guys, I want you to stop and
- 13:14Speaker 1: think she lost her son eight stabloom stars scars. She
- 13:23Speaker 1: got past that and graduated culinary school. She's a fighter now.
- 13:28Speaker 1: On the night of September nineteenth, twenty eighteen, Cassandra left
- 13:33Speaker 1: her home on Melrose Avenue at around eleven forty pm.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Now surveillance footage captured her descending the stairs, exiting on
- 13:43Speaker 1: to Melrose Avenue, and walking towards East sixteenth Street. Now.
- 13:48Speaker 1: She told her family she was going to meet her
- 13:50Speaker 1: ex boyfriend, John Keilo O'Brien. I really hope Kilo is
- 13:57Speaker 1: just a nickname and not his middle name. I don't
- 14:01Speaker 1: know why I feel that, but I just do. She
- 14:04Speaker 1: took her iPhone with her, but she did not have
- 14:06Speaker 1: her driver's license, credit cards, a passport, or a vehicle
- 14:12Speaker 1: and Guys, after this, Cassandra has not been seen again. Now.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Her absence was immediately alarming to her family. She stayed
- 14:23Speaker 1: in regular contact with her loved ones, and her disappearance
- 14:28Speaker 1: was one hundred percent completely out of character, especially with
- 14:34Speaker 1: her son's birthday coming up just days later. Now, her
- 14:39Speaker 1: family was adamant Cassandra would never willingly abandon her loving child.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I mean. Investigators quickly discovered more troubling facts. Okay, Just
- 14:50Speaker 1: one week before she vanished, Cassandra had bravely testified before
- 14:56Speaker 1: grand jury about a rape she had endured. Her testimony
- 15:01Speaker 1: had led to a suspect being indicted on seven felony charges. Now,
- 15:08Speaker 1: after Cassandra's disappearance, the case was dropped. Guys, sus sus sus. Okay,
- 15:18Speaker 1: maybe I'm in the true crime world too much, but
- 15:20Speaker 1: I know lady and Gray is sitting there saying the
- 15:23Speaker 1: same thing to the monitor right now. That is suspicious. Now,
- 15:30Speaker 1: it remains unclear whether her testimony and her disappearance are connected,
- 15:36Speaker 1: but the timing raised serious concerns. And Terry here with
- 15:42Speaker 1: my brain, I'm extremely suspicious of that. Now. John O'Brien,
- 15:47Speaker 1: the ex boyfriend Cassandra planned to meet that night, did
- 15:51Speaker 1: become a person of interest. His accounts of that evening
- 15:55Speaker 1: were inconsistent. Now. At one point, he claims she never
- 16:00Speaker 1: showed up. Later, he said he had met with her
- 16:03Speaker 1: and dropped her off at Hunter's Point train station in
- 16:07Speaker 1: Queen's and no evidence has ever been found to support
- 16:13Speaker 1: either versions of those events. Okay, Now, after giving these
- 16:20Speaker 1: conflicting statements, O'Brien disappeared himself. Guys, as of now, we
- 16:29Speaker 1: could not find any information on O'Brien. That just is
- 16:36Speaker 1: more suspicious to me. Okay. Now, Cassandramier's case is classified
- 16:42Speaker 1: as an endangered missing person under suspicious circumstances. Can I
- 16:49Speaker 1: just say captain obvious people? Can I just say that
- 16:52Speaker 1: I'm a little snarky today? The New York Police Department
- 16:55Speaker 1: continues to investigate, but no arrest have been made. Now,
- 17:02Speaker 1: I'm going to need to know more about the trial.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Who that suspect was and it got dropped. I need
- 17:09Speaker 1: to know if they investigated him, did he have ties
- 17:12Speaker 1: to something? I got questions. Now. Her family has fought
- 17:17Speaker 1: tirelessly to keep her name and story alive using the
- 17:20Speaker 1: hashtag hashtag find Cassandra Ramirez. They have organized search efforts,
- 17:27Speaker 1: held visuals, and they demand that her case not be forgotten. Okay,
- 17:33Speaker 1: Cassandra was a young woman trying to build a better life,
- 17:38Speaker 1: fighting through hardships and trauma. Many people cannot imagine. And
- 17:45Speaker 1: above all, she was a devoted mother who loved her
- 17:48Speaker 1: son with her whole heart. Now, as of today, Cassandra
- 17:54Speaker 1: remains missing. If you have any information, any information, guys,
- 18:01Speaker 1: I don't care if you think it is slim as
- 18:05Speaker 1: a piece of string, you are urged to call NYPD
- 18:09Speaker 1: Crime Stoppers at one eight hundred five seven seven tips.
- 18:15Speaker 1: You can also help by sharing her story, posting her flowers,
- 18:19Speaker 1: and using the hashtag hashtag find Cassandra Ramara's on social media.
- 18:26Speaker 1: She is not just a missing person. She is a mother,
- 18:30Speaker 1: a daughter, a fighter, and she is someone who deserves answers.
- 18:36Speaker 1: She did the right thing by testifying to the grand jury. Okay,
- 18:42Speaker 1: that takes guts to do that. So we need to
- 18:47Speaker 1: get the word out. She needs to be found. Okay,
- 18:52Speaker 1: she needs to be found. So please share the flyers
- 18:56Speaker 1: for Jeremiah and Cassandra that we have posted. Please share them. Okay,
- 19:02Speaker 1: Now I do have Terry's tips for today. I had
- 19:07Speaker 1: to rewrite my tips for today. Okay, I have to
- 19:10Speaker 1: just I always try to be honest and transparent, and
- 19:15Speaker 1: I won't go into decount detail with you guys, but
- 19:18Speaker 1: I want to give you tips on how to get
- 19:20Speaker 1: over a weekend of indulgences. Okay, because look, we've all
- 19:26Speaker 1: been there. One glass of wine turns into three, or
- 19:30Speaker 1: a whole bottle, one slice of pizza turns into well,
- 19:34Speaker 1: we're not going to count. Okay, but here's how to
- 19:37Speaker 1: bounce back like a pro that I've been told no
- 19:41Speaker 1: guilt required. First and foremost, hydrate like your life depends
- 19:48Speaker 1: on it. Okay, water is your new best friend. And
- 19:53Speaker 1: if water feels born to you, toss in a lemon slice,
- 19:56Speaker 1: some cucumber, or look what I've like me, I was
- 20:01Speaker 1: double fisted in the water a while ago with liquid IV. Okay,
- 20:04Speaker 1: pretend you're at the spa and put that cucumber in there,
- 20:08Speaker 1: because your body and your future self is gonna thank you.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Because if you overindulge on food, drink all that carbs.
- 20:18Speaker 1: If you ate too much pizza, that water is gonna
- 20:20Speaker 1: help flush it out it. Also, if you drink too
- 20:23Speaker 1: much is gonna help. Hydrates are really good for your skin. Okay. Now,
- 20:29Speaker 1: you also need to move your body, even if it's
- 20:32Speaker 1: just a little wiggle. I mean, just do a little wiggle. Okay.
- 20:35Speaker 1: You don't need to run a marathon. In fact, don't
- 20:38Speaker 1: run a marathon unless you are feeling inspired, in which
- 20:43Speaker 1: I'm going to say, I'm not sure we can be
- 20:46Speaker 1: friends because anyone who would want to go run a marathon,
- 20:52Speaker 1: whether you've indulged or not, is not me. Okay. Also,
- 20:57Speaker 1: don't punish yourself. Okay, nourish yourself. Skip the I'm only
- 21:02Speaker 1: gonna eat celery sticks today. Okay. Give your body good
- 21:07Speaker 1: stuff okay, Colorful veggies, hearty protunes, and foods that make
- 21:12Speaker 1: you feel energized, not deprived. Do not punish yourself for
- 21:17Speaker 1: having a good weekend. Hey, Kelly P. Welcome to the show.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Not crazy today. So I'm crazy, but the show is not.
- 21:29Speaker 1: But guys, nourish yourself. Don't punish yourself now, Guys, sleep
- 21:36Speaker 1: it off. I mean seriously, Sleep is like hitting the
- 21:40Speaker 1: reset button. Aim for a solid seven to nine hours,
- 21:44Speaker 1: even if it means saying goodnight to Netflix a little earlier,
- 21:48Speaker 1: or it means putting your phone down and not watching
- 21:52Speaker 1: our restreams. Okay, your future will wake. You will feel
- 21:57Speaker 1: much better tonight. I am shooting for nine to ten
- 22:01Speaker 1: hours because two nights in a row of two hours,
- 22:06Speaker 1: I'd be looking like this. Okay, now forgive and forget Okay,
- 22:11Speaker 1: forgive yourself. Your weekend was fun. You lived a little,
- 22:16Speaker 1: or in my case, I lived a lot. I wanted
- 22:19Speaker 1: to be twenty one again, and there is no shame
- 22:22Speaker 1: in that game. Guys. So today Monday is not for
- 22:26Speaker 1: punishing yourself, Okay, It's just for gently steering the ship
- 22:29Speaker 1: back on course because we are honestly all human and
- 22:35Speaker 1: we are doing just fine. Excuse me. And if you
- 22:39Speaker 1: want to know more about the craziness last night and
- 22:42Speaker 1: why I look like this, feel free to go over
- 22:46Speaker 1: and watch the replay of the Zizzians. But if you do,
- 22:51Speaker 1: please know I apologize to you guys for saying things
- 22:58Speaker 1: out wow that I sat out wild. Okay, I apologize,
- 23:03Speaker 1: and it's now out there in the universe. I can't
- 23:07Speaker 1: take it back. Just know I will leave my bean
- 23:11Speaker 1: out of all conversations in the future. Okay. So I
- 23:15Speaker 1: do want to thank you all for joining me today.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I look forward to seeing you again on Wednesday for
- 23:20Speaker 1: our next episode. And remember the time's gonna be a
- 23:24Speaker 1: little iffy. We're gonna put twelve fifteen. But just know,
- 23:27Speaker 1: depending on when Bev over the judge for Karen Reid,
- 23:32Speaker 1: whenever she calls. Lunch is when we're gonna pop on here.
- 23:36Speaker 1: If you're not joining Lama and her group streaming this trial,
- 23:42Speaker 1: you need to. You need to go and join Lama
- 23:45Speaker 1: over on the couch. You can even wear your pajamas, okay,
- 23:49Speaker 1: or you can wear your birthday suit. It's okay, you're
- 23:51Speaker 1: not on camera, but you need to see the Karen
- 23:54Speaker 1: Reid stuff because I have a lot of feels on it.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I am gonna honor y'alla notchon all the time because
- 24:01Speaker 1: I have so many feels. Okay, So you want to
- 24:04Speaker 1: do that now, don't forget. You can join our Facebook
- 24:08Speaker 1: group for Midday Missing. That's where we post all missing
- 24:11Speaker 1: person posters as well as share other missing person cases
- 24:17Speaker 1: that we verify because people there are spams out there. Okay. Now,
- 24:23Speaker 1: if you want to hear more about my insanity that
- 24:28Speaker 1: gets posted, you're gonna want to go to Terry True
- 24:30Speaker 1: Crime Social for that. I still want to be posting
- 24:33Speaker 1: about my being there either, Okay. Double H would probably
- 24:37Speaker 1: be calling a divorce attorney, so that will not be happening. Okay,
- 24:42Speaker 1: but don't forget. True Crime and Wine Time will be
- 24:46Speaker 1: on Thursday nine at eight pm Central. This week, guys,
- 24:51Speaker 1: we are covering the case of Wine, Wealth and Murder,
- 24:56Speaker 1: the Robert Dahl horror. Guys, let me tell you this guy. Oh,
- 25:03Speaker 1: I have so many things for this guy to say
- 25:07Speaker 1: that there will be profanity. So Thursday night you want
- 25:12Speaker 1: to join us? Okay? Now, definitely, like I just said,
- 25:16Speaker 1: go join us over on the couch court with Lama.
- 25:19Speaker 1: She is streaming live on TCWT excuse me, True Crime
- 25:24Speaker 1: and mind Times Channel every day. There's a few opinionated
- 25:29Speaker 1: co hosts that pop in. Guys. They are breaking it
- 25:33Speaker 1: down and they have snacks and they are causing my
- 25:37Speaker 1: scale to increase instead of go down. And if I
- 25:41Speaker 1: didn't love Lama so much, I would make her pay
- 25:44Speaker 1: the price. Okay, And just so you know, if any
- 25:48Speaker 1: of you are local in the Austin area, JT and
