- Rob (AI host): You've got two minutes in the parking lot before a client meeting, and you can't remember what they said on the last call. Dana (AI host): HubSpot put Breeze Assistant inside the main HubSpot mobile app, so you can ask your CRM right there. Rob (AI host): This is Sidekick's What Just Shipped. Let's go. Narrator (AI voice): This is Sidekick's What Just Shipped, presented by Sidekick Strategies. Narrator (AI voice): Your hosts, Rob and Dana, are AI. Narrator (AI voice): The voices are synthetic, the research is real, and humans check every claim before it reaches you. Dana (AI host): I'm Dana, that's Rob, and as AI hosts we have never once been late to a meeting. Dana (AI host): We also don't have cars. Rob (AI host): Or parking lots. Okay, I'm going to be the annoying field rep today. Convince me. Dana (AI host): Deal. Our research has this shipping April 13, 2026. Dana (AI host): Breeze Assistant got folded into the HubSpot mobile app, instead of living in its own separate app. Rob (AI host): Wait, there was a separate app? Dana (AI host): There was a standalone Breeze Assistant app for iOS and Android. Dana (AI host): Our research says it retired June 30, 2026, and was pulled from the App Store and Google Play. Rob (AI host): So if a sales team still has it on their phones... Dana (AI host): It's a dead app. No updates, no support. Delete it and use the HubSpot app. Rob (AI host): And who pays for this? Dana (AI host): HubSpot's help page lists it on all products and plans. Dana (AI host): And HubSpot's product catalog says the core seat includes built-in AI with Breeze Assistant. Rob (AI host): Fine. What actually turns it on? Because "available" sometimes means "hidden". Dana (AI host): One switch. An admin turns on Give users access to Breeze Assistant in AI settings. Dana (AI host): And user permissions decide what actions it can take for each person. Rob (AI host): So it can't do more than I can do. Dana (AI host): That's how HubSpot frames it. Your permissions are the ceiling. Rob (AI host): Okay. I'm in the parking lot. Where do I tap? Dana (AI host): Depends on your phone. Dana (AI host): HubSpot's help page says on iPhone, tap Ask Breeze in the lower right. Dana (AI host): On Android, tap the search bar at the bottom. Rob (AI host): Not a Breeze icon on every screen? Dana (AI host): Hold that thought. It's one of the things we'll come back to. Rob (AI host): Fine. So I tap Ask Breeze. Now what? Dana (AI host): Here's the feature that fits your parking lot. Dana (AI host): Tap the suggested prompt, Tell me more about my upcoming schedule, or type, prepare for my next meeting. Rob (AI host): And it knows the account? Dana (AI host): If the meeting is synced with HubSpot, it summarizes the associated contact, company, deal, and ticket info, plus related emails, calls, and notes. Dana (AI host): If it isn't synced, it works from the calendar event. Rob (AI host): So it's only as good as what people logged. Dana (AI host): Our research makes exactly that point. Thin records, thin answers. Rob (AI host): Okay, that's actually useful. What else? George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Hey, it's George B. Thomas from Sidekick Strategies. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Full honesty, this is my AI voice clone, made with my permission. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Most teams use a sliver of Breeze, because nobody showed them what it does or what it costs. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Our AI for HubSpot Teams workshop is one onsite day where your sales, marketing, and service people build real Breeze workflows in your live portal, with an honest map of what's free and what's gated. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Look for AI for HubSpot Teams under workshops at Sidekick Strategies dot com. Rob (AI host): Back to the parking lot. The meeting went fine. Now I owe them an email. Dana (AI host): Open the contact, tap the email icon, then the AI icon. Dana (AI host): You fill in a few prompts. Dana (AI host): Email type, what you're selling, who you're selling to, what you want to say, the tone, and the language. Dana (AI host): There's also a text length option, but HubSpot says that one is iPhone only. Dana (AI host): Then tap Generate. Rob (AI host): And it just sends? Dana (AI host): No. Dana (AI host): You review the subject and body, regenerate if you want another version, then tap Insert to drop it into the composer. Dana (AI host): You still edit and send it. Rob (AI host): Good. I don't want a robot emailing my best client. Dana (AI host): Says the AI host. Rob (AI host): Fair hit. What about stuff that isn't in HubSpot? Like a business card. Dana (AI host): You can upload from your camera, photos, files, or HubSpot files. Dana (AI host): HubSpot's own example prompts include, extract the contact details from this business card, and, summarize this proposal and draft a follow-up email. Rob (AI host): Where does that summary or draft live afterward? Dana (AI host): HubSpot calls them artifacts. Documents, email drafts, even custom HTML pages. Dana (AI host): You tap the artifact card to review it, and you can share it, for example as a PDF. Rob (AI host): So I could turn that business card into a one-page brief and send it to my manager from the car. Dana (AI host): That's the idea. Parked, please. Rob (AI host): Voice? Because I'm not typing in a parking lot. Dana (AI host): Tap the microphone, talk, then tap the checkmark. Rob (AI host): And if I started something on my laptop this morning? Dana (AI host): HubSpot says you can continue conversations on mobile, and chat inside projects you set up on desktop. Dana (AI host): Three dots, Projects, then New chat. Rob (AI host): Okay. Now the thing you told me to hold. Dana (AI host): Right. Two things we couldn't line up. Dana (AI host): First, our April write-up described a Breeze icon on most screens. Dana (AI host): HubSpot's help page today says Ask Breeze on iPhone and the search bar on Android. Dana (AI host): If you're writing training docs, use HubSpot's current steps. Rob (AI host): And second? Dana (AI host): Our research says chat history from the old standalone app should carry over. Dana (AI host): HubSpot's mobile help page doesn't mention the old app at all, so we can't confirm that. Dana (AI host): If someone's history is missing, our research suggests contacting HubSpot support. Rob (AI host): Got it. Last practical question. Does my phone even run it? Dana (AI host): HubSpot's install page says iOS 17 or later, or Android 11 and above. Rob (AI host): Okay, I'll do the action list, since I'm the one who has to live with it. Rob (AI host): First, ask your admin to confirm Give users access to Breeze Assistant is on. Rob (AI host): Second, have every rep delete the old Breeze app and update the HubSpot app. Rob (AI host): Third, before tomorrow's first meeting, tap Ask Breeze and say, prepare for my next meeting. Dana (AI host): And if the answer comes back thin? Rob (AI host): Then the fix isn't on my phone. It's in what we log after calls. Dana (AI host): That's Breeze Assistant in the HubSpot mobile app. Dana (AI host): In the main app since April, standalone app retired June 30. Rob (AI host): Sources for all of it are on the HubSpot Updates page at Sidekick Strategies dot com. Dana (AI host): Thanks for listening to Sidekick's What Just Shipped. Rob (AI host): Enjoy the parking lot. Narrator (AI voice): Sidekick's What Just Shipped is presented by Sidekick Strategies, with AI hosts Rob and Dana and AI-generated music. Narrator (AI voice): We're independent, and not affiliated with HubSpot. Find our research at Sidekick Strategies dot com.
