- 0:00Speaker 1: Silver bells, silver bells, soon it will be Christmas Day.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Hello, everyone. And you know what? I don't care if
- 0:17Speaker 2: that woman killed her husband. It's Christmas. I don't care.
- 0:20Speaker 2: I don't care. It's Christmas. And I'm forgiving everyone... And
- 0:30Speaker 2: I'm happy to be here with all of you because
- 0:34Speaker 2: we're about to start a new year and it's a
- 0:38Speaker 2: time for hope. And we don't want to get mired
- 0:44Speaker 2: in the past. We want to go forward to the future.
- 0:49Speaker 2: And this turning point kind of abomination that the right
- 0:55Speaker 2: wing of this country has turned into like a bad
- 0:58Speaker 2: reality show. And it's all of the fault of everyone,
- 1:04Speaker 2: by the way. It's the fault of everyone speaking and
- 1:07Speaker 2: everyone attending. There's nobody that gets up. Everything about this
- 1:14Speaker 2: is weird and uncomfortable for everyone. And obviously, I'm not
- 1:20Speaker 2: saying she killed her husband or knew about it or whatever.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I'm saying the guy got shot three months ago and
- 1:31Speaker 2: she walks out to a pyrotechnic display and then she goes,
- 1:36Speaker 2: we're going to elect J.D. Vance. It's weird that that's
- 1:42Speaker 2: where her head is at. It's difficult for many people
- 1:47Speaker 2: to relate to. It's not relatable. For people that talked
- 1:52Speaker 2: about how Hollywood isn't relatable and Hollywood is out of touch,
- 1:58Speaker 2: this looks a lot like Hollywood to most people. And
- 2:04Speaker 2: to go out through a stream of fireworks and sparklers
- 2:11Speaker 2: and stand there in a glittering pantsuit and talk about
- 2:15Speaker 2: electing J.D. Vance three months after your husband was killed,
- 2:23Speaker 2: many people feel that there is something off about that.
- 2:28Speaker 2: And we're starting to see that political people are the
- 2:34Speaker 2: exact same thing as the Hollywood elites that they all
- 2:41Speaker 2: love to dunk on. And We all look at this.
- 2:46Speaker 2: This is Megan Thee Stallion twerking at the Kamala rally.
- 2:51Speaker 2: This is deeply unsettling to a lot of people. It
- 2:56Speaker 2: feels like you're being played. You feel it. It seems off.
- 3:05Speaker 2: You feel like this is a coordinated and choreographed spectacle
- 3:13Speaker 2: so that you are played. They want your money. That's
- 3:18Speaker 2: what they got mad at Candace about. They're like, why
- 3:20Speaker 2: are you telling people not to give us money? She's
- 3:23Speaker 2: also saying you killed the guy. Why are you mad
- 3:27Speaker 2: about the money? They're just mad that they're not getting money.
- 3:33Speaker 2: They want your money. And they want to be celebrities.
- 3:39Speaker 2: You know, and okay, some of them are. But it
- 3:43Speaker 2: just feels odd. This is everything they hate, that they
- 3:48Speaker 2: don't like, that they're not about. They're not about this stuff.
- 3:52Speaker 2: They believe in the sacred family and tradition and blah-biddy-blah-biddy-blah.
- 3:57Speaker 2: And the women are in the house with the kids
- 3:59Speaker 2: and what? What part of the traditionalism is the pyrotechnics
- 4:07Speaker 2: and the fireworks and.
- 4:10Speaker 2: It feels really weird. I mean, let's take a listen
- 4:16Speaker 2: here to her. Yeah, I just, you know.
- 4:24Speaker 2: And the woman's been through a lot. And I know that...
- 4:30Speaker 2: you know, people are going to accuse me of being insensitive.
- 4:38Speaker 2: But she feels like she's handling this death better than
- 4:44Speaker 2: anyone I've ever seen. I mean, and by the way,
- 4:50Speaker 2: kudos to her strength. I've never seen a human being
- 4:56Speaker 2: bounce back like this. Talk about a bounce back. I've
- 5:03Speaker 2: never in my life. I've, I know people that have
- 5:07Speaker 2: lost cats and dogs who couldn't, who couldn't do this
- 5:12Speaker 2: in the timeframe that she has done it. I, I
- 5:16Speaker 2: give her, her flowers. Okay. Like God bless. You are
- 5:23Speaker 2: killing it. It just feels to people, again, I have
- 5:30Speaker 2: no investment in shitting on the woman. I don't care.
- 5:36Speaker 2: I don't agree with a lot of these people. This
- 5:40Speaker 2: organization means nothing to me. I don't think it's a.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Evil thing or a good thing. I'm looking at this
- 5:52Speaker 2: like a reality show that has gone off the rails.
- 5:57Speaker 2: A reality show where someone, one of the producers of
- 6:02Speaker 2: a reality show, because that's the way reality shows work.
- 6:05Speaker 2: There are producers who get the women drunk, put them
- 6:10Speaker 2: in a restaurant and go fight. And we got to
- 6:13Speaker 2: film it. And the producers are the ones on the
- 6:18Speaker 2: reality show that arrange the storyline of what you're going
- 6:26Speaker 2: to hear and see. One of those producers here needs
- 6:31Speaker 2: to whisper in somebody's ear, hey, I don't know what
- 6:37Speaker 2: this storyline is. But we think there's a high likelihood
- 6:43Speaker 2: that this is going to turn a lot of people off.
- 6:47Speaker 2: That a lot of people are going to see this.
- 6:49Speaker 2: The constant begging for the money. The constant J.D. Vance
- 6:54Speaker 2: of it all. We're going to elect J.D. Vance. The
- 6:57Speaker 2: election's three years away. There's something deeply unsettling about this spectacle.
- 7:05Speaker 2: It makes Mamdani and AOC look great. The far left
- 7:12Speaker 2: in this country, the Graham Platners, they've been, and again,
- 7:16Speaker 2: a lot of their policies I wouldn't love, but they
- 7:19Speaker 2: seem mature and dignified.
- 7:23Speaker 6: Truly.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Because this has become like a weird quasi-religious like undertaking
- 7:37Speaker 2: that involves glittering sequined gowns and appeals for more and
- 7:45Speaker 2: more money. And it doesn't feel, it feels righteous gemstones.
- 7:53Speaker 2: It has it's righteous gemstones coded a little bit. You know,
- 7:57Speaker 2: I don't, I don't get it. I don't know what
- 8:01Speaker 2: this was supposed to be. Maybe this is what it's
- 8:05Speaker 2: supposed to be. Can we listen to a little bit of,
- 8:09Speaker 2: of friend of the show, Erica Kirk here at Turning
- 8:16Speaker 2: Point USA. Let's play, do we have the clip where
- 8:19Speaker 2: she's talking about Vance? Let's play that.
- 8:22Speaker 4: We're going to ensure that President Trump has Congress for.
- 8:26Speaker 2: All four years.
- 8:32Speaker 3: We are going to get my husband's friend, J.D.
- 8:35Speaker 6: Vance, Elected for 48 in the most resounding way possible.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I just feel... I cannot describe to you how
- 8:47Speaker 2: if you were a normal human being, this gives you pause.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Your spidey senses go off. You feel... odd.
- 9:00Speaker 7: Odd.
- 9:02Speaker 2: If you're a normal human being, you look at this
- 9:04Speaker 2: and you go 90 days after this guy tragically gets assassinated,
- 9:11Speaker 2: this has become a very, very grotesque display of the
- 9:21Speaker 2: quest for raw power led by his widow. It's like
- 9:28Speaker 2: odd to a lot of people. It's odd. There were
- 9:33Speaker 2: things about it that were, you know, I'm sure nice.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I'm sure they did a memorial. I don't know, whatever.
- 9:40Speaker 2: But this politicizing of her, I'm the CEO, I'm carrying
- 9:48Speaker 2: his message, that leaves a lot of people feeling odd.
- 9:55Speaker 2: And fine, whatever. And I'm sure there's a lot of
- 10:00Speaker 2: people that love it. There's a lot of people that
- 10:03Speaker 2: love it. But every speech that I watched, I only
- 10:13Speaker 2: watched a few, was a speech that And I watched
- 10:20Speaker 2: Shapiro and Tucker. This is descending into a movement about personalities.
- 10:32Speaker 2: About personalities, about people. Not really about ideas. It's kind
- 10:39Speaker 2: of become about people. And it's kind of become boring.
- 10:46Speaker 2: And it's not to say that there aren't important... issues
- 10:51Speaker 2: at stake. But it feels weird when you're watching it,
- 10:58Speaker 2: that all these people have personal grudges and they're airing out,
- 11:03Speaker 2: you know, things. Listen, there are people that I don't
- 11:06Speaker 2: get along with that may not like me. And it's
- 11:12Speaker 2: not even that I don't get along with them. They
- 11:13Speaker 2: just may view me in a negative light because they
- 11:18Speaker 2: are They have an impression of me that is negative.
- 11:24Speaker 2: And I may feel the same way about other people.
- 11:31Speaker 2: The minute you start engaging in this kind of back
- 11:37Speaker 2: and forth and banter, it feels very small. The thing
- 11:42Speaker 2: kind of degenerates into a very small... Petty. And even
- 11:47Speaker 2: the Trump stuff, it's not as fun. It used to
- 11:50Speaker 2: be very fun. Now it's dark. The Rob Reiner stuff,
- 11:54Speaker 2: it gets dark. I was at a party in Silver Lake,
- 11:58Speaker 2: the east side of LA, where the artsy people live.
- 12:02Speaker 2: And there were people there that probably don't love me.
- 12:05Speaker 2: But I was there for a Friends special release party
- 12:09Speaker 2: and everyone there was really, really cool. And maybe some
- 12:14Speaker 2: of them didn't like me. And I have no problem
- 12:17Speaker 2: with any of them. I'm judging based on, you know,
- 12:23Speaker 2: an idea that some of the people there may have
- 12:27Speaker 2: hated my guts. But I don't know. But did, probably.
- 12:34Speaker 2: But it was a lovely event because nobody really talked about...
- 12:44Speaker 2: Anything that would be controversial. You know, nothing came up.
- 12:52Speaker 2: It was very, and I don't care if people leave
- 12:59Speaker 2: and hate me or, you know, I leave and hate them.
- 13:04Speaker 2: And I don't think anyone's really hating anyone. But I
- 13:07Speaker 2: think like maybe there are people there that are like,
- 13:09Speaker 2: I don't know about that guy. And that's fair. But
- 13:13Speaker 2: we didn't get into it on any level, nor would
- 13:17Speaker 2: we ever because, you.
- 13:22Speaker 6: Know, I.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Feel like there's nothing to be gained from that. You know,
- 13:34Speaker 2: especially if you can look at somebody who you disagree
- 13:38Speaker 2: with in some real profound ways. But say we're both
- 13:45Speaker 2: rich and successful. And many of the people at this party,
- 13:53Speaker 2: they're not. And even though you may not love some
- 13:58Speaker 2: of my ideas and I don't love some of your ideas,
- 14:01Speaker 2: I respect the fact that you are rich and successful.
- 14:07Speaker 2: And I just want that respect from you as well.
- 14:12Speaker 2: And I got it. It's actually lovely. And we can
- 14:16Speaker 2: have a very fake, superficial, good time at this party
- 14:26Speaker 2: because that's what life's about. That is what life is about.
- 14:34Speaker 2: It's not about getting to the bottom of it, lies. Lies.
- 14:41Speaker 2: It's not about burying a hatchet. What hatchet? What? It's
- 14:48Speaker 2: not about mutual understanding and it certainly ain't about mutual respect.
- 14:56Speaker 2: It ain't about any of that. What it's about is
- 15:00Speaker 2: a surface level acknowledgement That we can simulate. This is
- 15:11Speaker 2: a simulation. And in this simulation, at this moment, we're friendly.
- 15:19Speaker 2: And we are. And no matter what happens, you leave
- 15:24Speaker 2: and you can go on social media. That fascist pig,
- 15:27Speaker 2: it's okay. It's okay because when it mattered, we both
- 15:35Speaker 2: showed up. And whoever it is, whoever these people in
- 15:40Speaker 2: the world are that you have issues with, you can
- 15:44Speaker 2: show up to be a fake version of yourself. You
- 15:58Speaker 2: can be a hollow version of yourself. You can come
- 16:05Speaker 2: and make small talk And build on that. You can
- 16:11Speaker 2: build on nothing and build more nothing until you have
- 16:19Speaker 2: castles of nothing. And that's where we can all live,
- 16:26Speaker 2: in castles of nothing. Why would we argue about anything?
- 16:33Speaker 2: We can just... We're human beings. People are human beings. Okay?
- 16:41Speaker 2: That's my point. I was at this party and I
- 16:44Speaker 2: was like, Harvey, fuck, I keep saying, I don't know
- 16:48Speaker 2: why I'm saying this. And I keep saying Rob Reiner,
- 16:51Speaker 2: but instead I'm saying Harvey Weinstein just because it's LA
- 16:55Speaker 2: and it's like such a bad, you know. At the party,
- 16:59Speaker 2: we found out that Rob Reiner was killed by his son,
- 17:01Speaker 2: a tragic event. We've all wanted to kill our parents.
- 17:05Speaker 2: We don't do it. You don't do it, okay? It's
- 17:10Speaker 2: the holidays. Now, you realize in that moment, when he
- 17:18Speaker 2: is killed by his son, you realize that life is short.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Not for him, he lived a long life. But you
- 17:29Speaker 2: realize that life is precious. Why argue about nonsense? He
- 17:41Speaker 2: was at Conan O'Brien's party having an argument with his
- 17:45Speaker 2: parents the night before. When you hear that, you realize
- 17:51Speaker 2: Conan O'Brien at a party you weren't invited to. That's
- 17:55Speaker 2: what I realized. And I thought about that. And people said,
- 17:59Speaker 2: it's horrible that that man lost his life. And I said,
- 18:02Speaker 2: where was that party? And they said, it was horrible.
- 18:07Speaker 2: He stabbed his mother and his father. And I said,
- 18:08Speaker 2: is it in the Palisades house? Cause he still has
- 18:10Speaker 2: that house. It didn't burn down. And they went, well,
- 18:14Speaker 2: the kid had been schizophrenic his whole life. He's been
- 18:16Speaker 2: in and out of rehab. And it was like a
- 18:18Speaker 2: really big, and I go, who, who, who gets to
- 18:20Speaker 2: go to that? Is it like people he handpicks or
- 18:25Speaker 2: that's what's important. Do you know how much better this
- 18:30Speaker 2: episode would have been if I was at the Conan
- 18:33Speaker 2: O'Brien Christmas party? Do you know how much more worthwhile
- 18:36Speaker 2: this whole thing would have been had I been a
- 18:39Speaker 2: witness to that? But I was not invited. I was
- 18:43Speaker 2: not invited because there's an idea in this town that
- 18:46Speaker 2: I'm not a team player. simply because I have trashed
- 18:52Speaker 2: people publicly and privately and the directors of huge film
- 18:58Speaker 2: franchises and agents and managers and business managers and my colleagues,
- 19:04Speaker 2: other actors, politicians, members of the judiciary, my family, personal friends.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Because of that, I am blacklisted from events that I
- 19:17Speaker 2: would be fucking great at. So I'm forced to be
- 19:21Speaker 2: in a Silver Lake backyard, okay? Making peace with whatever,
- 19:29Speaker 2: like people, instead of being, okay, Emmy winners, a few,
- 19:36Speaker 2: one or two, total respect, shows I like and watch.
- 19:42Speaker 2: But I'm not at other things that I should be at.
- 19:45Speaker 2: I literally should be invited to every party in this town.
- 19:49Speaker 2: And when you hear that somebody was stabbed to death
- 19:53Speaker 2: by their child in their house. And before that, they
- 19:57Speaker 2: were at a huge party that you weren't invited to.
- 20:01Speaker 2: The first instinct you have is why? Why? Why was
- 20:06Speaker 2: I not invited? Why? I've said nothing negative about Conan.
- 20:09Speaker 2: I love him. I love Irish people. He's brilliant. Whatever.
- 20:15Speaker 2: So many people ask me, what is the perfect holiday gift?

- 21:31Speaker 2: this man, this legend of comedy, Rob Reiner and his wife, Michelle,
- 21:35Speaker 2: tragically meeting their end. And you think, I never met him.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I was never invited to his home. There's so many
- 21:47Speaker 2: people I have not met that I deserve to meet.
- 21:51Speaker 2: And that's what you really start to think about. You
- 21:53Speaker 2: start to think about the people you haven't met, the
- 21:57Speaker 2: parties you haven't been to. The things you haven't done.
- 22:02Speaker 2: That's what the holidays are about, the real stuff. And
- 22:08Speaker 2: the fake superficial but lovely chats you could have with
- 22:17Speaker 2: many people that have a myriad of views and they
- 22:24Speaker 2: don't have to agree with you. You're at a party
- 22:28Speaker 2: and they're at a party. You know, that's the whole thing.
- 22:34Speaker 2: And if this guy, and can I say something now?
- 22:38Speaker 2: Can I just say a thing? Because I have this
- 22:41Speaker 2: platform and it's all I have because I've been robbed
- 22:44Speaker 2: of everything else. They've taken everything else from me. But
- 22:47Speaker 2: can I say one thing? And I don't, and I'm
- 22:51Speaker 2: not throwing shade at anyone at that party. I'm certainly
- 22:54Speaker 2: not throwing shade at Conor. I'm not throwing shade at
- 22:56Speaker 2: any of these people. I think Bill Hader is a genius.
- 22:58Speaker 2: I love Barry. People took a photo of him. I
- 23:01Speaker 2: don't even know why. I don't even know why. Can
- 23:04Speaker 2: I say one thing? Am I allowed on my own
- 23:07Speaker 2: platform to say one thing? Had I been at that
- 23:09Speaker 2: party and had I spoken to Nick Reiner, Rob Reiner's alive.
- 23:15Speaker 2: He is. No, he is. No, he is. So I'm
- 23:18Speaker 2: not trying to guilt anyone. I'm not trying to make
- 23:20Speaker 2: anyone feel bad. But if I was at the Conan party...
- 23:24Speaker 2: Not even invited. If I was at the Conan party
- 23:28Speaker 2: and I could have grabbed Nick Reiner and took him
- 23:30Speaker 2: outside and given him a Marlboro light and chatted with him,
- 23:34Speaker 2: he's probably a fan of this show or other shows
- 23:37Speaker 2: I've done. And Nick Reiner, medication for schizophrenia. Yeah, definitely
- 23:43Speaker 2: watches this show. Definitely a podcast fan. I would have
- 23:47Speaker 2: been able to convince him with my charm, with my wit,
- 23:52Speaker 2: with my personality. I'm quick on my feet. I would
- 23:55Speaker 2: have been able to say, hey, don't do this. Hey,
- 23:58Speaker 2: don't do it. So I'm just saying, the people that
- 24:03Speaker 2: don't invite me have blood on their hands. Okay, and
- 24:10Speaker 2: I don't mean to say, I'm not trying to be difficult.
- 24:12Speaker 2: I'm actually not. It sounds like I am. I'm not trying,
- 24:18Speaker 2: but if you have not invited me to a party
- 24:20Speaker 2: in LA and a schizophrenic, my mother's a schizophrenic, I
- 24:24Speaker 2: actually know how to handle them. I know how to
- 24:27Speaker 2: handle them. First of all, the first thing you say
- 24:29Speaker 2: to a schizophrenic is you're right. You don't argue with them.
- 24:33Speaker 2: When I read they were arguing with this schizo at
- 24:36Speaker 2: Conan's fucking house, which I believe is actually beautiful. I
- 24:39Speaker 2: wouldn't know. They're arguing with this schizo. You don't fight
- 24:44Speaker 2: with a schizo. When my mother said something, I went,
- 24:48Speaker 2: you're right, hon. Lock her up. You don't argue with
- 24:54Speaker 2: a schizophrenic. You put them in a home. Now, so
- 24:59Speaker 2: I don't know what the fight was about. I don't
- 25:01Speaker 2: know what it was over. I don't know if it
- 25:02Speaker 2: was political or whatever the case would be. Can you
- 25:05Speaker 2: show the picture of Rob and the son? Because the son, no, no, no,
- 25:10Speaker 2: not that one. You know the one everyone's sharing where
- 25:12Speaker 2: you can see that the son has some problems. And
- 25:14Speaker 2: by the way, it's a tragic thing that happened. And
- 25:17Speaker 2: it didn't have to happen. Had I been there, it
- 25:19Speaker 2: wouldn't have happened. I mean, I don't know what to say.
- 25:21Speaker 2: I know people don't want to hear that. They're going
- 25:23Speaker 2: to be upset. This is going to be another thing.
- 25:25Speaker 2: I won't get invited to another thing. Did you hear
- 25:27Speaker 2: what he said? He said he would have saved Robert. Well,
- 25:30Speaker 2: I would have. I know how to deal with schizophrenics,
- 25:34Speaker 2: especially in a mansion. My mother was living in a
- 25:38Speaker 2: bungalow and we dealt with her. I would know how
- 25:42Speaker 2: to deal with a schizophrenic in a mansion. That's actually
- 25:46Speaker 2: what I'm designed for. Can you imagine me and a
- 25:50Speaker 2: schizophrenic in a large kitchen? It would work. He would
- 25:56Speaker 2: leave that house, and he would go, that's a great
- 25:59Speaker 2: guy I met, and I'm not killing anyone. But instead,
- 26:04Speaker 2: we had the other thing. I don't know. It's not
- 26:06Speaker 2: that one. It's another one. But you can edit that
- 26:08Speaker 2: one in or whatever. It doesn't matter. The guy had problems.
- 26:11Speaker 2: The guy had drug issues. I don't pretend to know.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Play this a little bit, please.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Out front now, Alan Horne. He's a longtime friend of
- 26:26Speaker 4: Rob Reiner. They were dear friends for over 50 years.
- 26:28Speaker 4: They co-founded Castle Rock Entertainment together. Alan's currently a consultant
- 26:32Speaker 4: for Warner Brothers Discovery, parent company, of course, of CNN.
- 26:36Speaker 4: And Alan, I am really, it's hard to even find
- 26:41Speaker 4: words to say, you know, sorry for this shocking.
- 26:45Speaker 2: By the way, can you stop that? This is a
- 26:46Speaker 2: pet peeve of mine. What do you mean it's hard
- 26:48Speaker 2: to find words? You work at CNN. Your literal only
- 26:53Speaker 2: job is to find words. No one is asking you
- 26:56Speaker 2: to do anything else except find words. Just find the words. Say,
- 27:01Speaker 2: I'm sorry for your loss. That's what you say. They
- 27:05Speaker 2: all do this. I can't even find the words. Here
- 27:09Speaker 2: they are. I'm sorry for your loss. Those are the words.
- 27:15Speaker 2: And why was Tim Dillon not in the party to
- 27:19Speaker 2: defuse the situation? And then that guy would go, who
- 27:23Speaker 2: the hell is that? And then she would go, you're
- 27:25Speaker 2: part of the problem. There's a generational problem here in
- 27:29Speaker 2: media and entertainment. Okay. By the way, the podcast awards,
- 27:34Speaker 2: they don't nominate Rogan or Theo or Matt and Shane
- 27:38Speaker 2: or come town. I mean, they should even post posthumously,
- 27:41Speaker 2: you know, it's not around anymore, but they don't nominate
- 27:45Speaker 2: the Tim Dillon show. They don't nominate bad friends. They
- 27:47Speaker 2: don't nominate any of these shows, flagrant, whatever. They don't
- 27:50Speaker 2: nominate any of these things. They nominate none of those shows. Yet,
- 27:55Speaker 2: those shows are the most powerful shows in the world, supposedly,
- 27:58Speaker 2: and elected the president, but none of them got nominated.
- 28:01Speaker 2: That category has no credibility. And I like some of
- 28:03Speaker 2: the people in that category, Amy Poehler, Smartless, whatever, but
- 28:07Speaker 2: you have zero credibility if you're not nominating a few
- 28:11Speaker 2: of the shows that I talked about. Not even mine.
- 28:12Speaker 2: You don't have to nominate mine. Let's hear this, please. Um....
- 28:19Speaker 4: This is your dear friend, one of your dearest friends.
- 28:22Speaker 4: And for anyone watching, I mean, this is a man
- 28:25Speaker 4: that is with you on the day your daughter was born.
- 28:30Speaker 2: On the day, right?
- 28:32Speaker 8: Your daughter, Cody.
- 28:34Speaker 4: Rob described you as like a big brother to him.
- 28:38Speaker 4: How do you even process the fact that this has
- 28:43Speaker 4: just happened?
- 28:46Speaker 2: Well, Erin, First of all, are they going to get
- 28:50Speaker 2: to the thing? Yeah, we can't watch five minutes. Are
- 28:53Speaker 2: we going to get to the spot where Bill Hader
- 28:56Speaker 2: tried to get him kicked out of the party or
- 28:58Speaker 2: something based on what he said? The couple's youngest son
- 29:03Speaker 2: attended the comedian's party on Saturday with Rob 78 and
- 29:06Speaker 2: Michelle 68. He was brought to the party so that
- 29:08Speaker 2: his parents could keep an eye on him. Sources told
- 29:11Speaker 2: Rolling Stone, um, While there, however, Nick interrupted comedian Bill
- 29:17Speaker 2: Hader with a series of unsettling questions, according to the
- 29:20Speaker 2: Wall Street Journal. Nick allegedly asked Hader and several other
- 29:23Speaker 2: guests the same set of questions. What's your name? What's
- 29:27Speaker 2: your last name? Are you famous? By the way, fair.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Nick allegedly asked Hader and several other guests the same
- 29:39Speaker 2: set of questions. What's your name? What's your last name?
- 29:41Speaker 2: Are you famous? I thought he was threatening to kill
- 29:44Speaker 2: his parents at the party. Are these people angry that
- 29:48Speaker 2: he questioned their fame? Maybe they were like, maybe they
- 29:53Speaker 2: were standing there and he's like, are you famous? And
- 29:55Speaker 2: they're like, what are you, a schizophrenic? I'm very famous.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Rob and his son got into a heated argument during
- 30:01Speaker 2: the party with one guest alleging that Rob told his
- 30:05Speaker 2: son that his behavior was inappropriate. Another guest told the
- 30:07Speaker 2: New York Times that Nick seemed anxious and uncomfortable through
- 30:09Speaker 2: the night in a way that deeply unsettled them. A
- 30:12Speaker 2: guest similarly revealed to people Nick was freaking everyone out,
- 30:15Speaker 2: acting crazy, kept asking people if they were famous. Nick
- 30:21Speaker 2: eventually was asked to leave and the bodies were found
- 30:26Speaker 2: less than 24 hours. It's sad.
- 30:30Speaker 2: This is tough. I get it. This is a tragic thing.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Titan of comedy. Horrible. Not good. I should have been
- 30:39Speaker 2: at the party. I would have been able to help. Again,
- 30:43Speaker 2: I don't want to make it about me. I don't
- 30:45Speaker 2: want it to be like, oh, it's about me. Not
- 30:47Speaker 2: about me. I was at another lesser event in Silver Lake.
- 30:52Speaker 2: God help me. Lovely people. Lovely people.
- 30:56Speaker 5: Okay.
- 30:57Speaker 2: I was at this party. And it was lovely and
- 31:01Speaker 2: they had latkes and it was a Hanukkah thing and
- 31:03Speaker 2: there was comedy special and it was lovely. It was nice.
- 31:08Speaker 2: It was a rental in Silver Lake where I was
- 31:11Speaker 2: at a rental while there was someone who needed care.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Someone who needed care in the Palisades and I could
- 31:19Speaker 2: have been there to help, but I was not. Something
- 31:23Speaker 2: to think about in the future, but whatever. Um, the, the, um,
- 31:35Speaker 2: the Barry Weiss town hall with Erica Kirk flopped. Unfortunately
- 31:39Speaker 2: it didn't do well. Um, and then Barry's now pursuing, uh,
- 31:43Speaker 2: JD Vance for a town hall. That's going to be
- 31:45Speaker 2: a barn burner. And then Elon Musk, those are the
- 31:48Speaker 2: two names she wants. Um, yeah, it's not good. It
- 31:56Speaker 2: wasn't good. It was very boring. The town hall was
- 32:00Speaker 2: very boring. It was just not fun. It was like terrible. Barry, honey, lovey,
- 32:15Speaker 2: lovey dove, get off the air. Get into the back room.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Get off the air. Nobody wants your pout. She pouts, Barry.
- 32:28Speaker 2: She has a pout. It is not what people want
- 32:32Speaker 2: when they turn on the tube, is to see your pout.
- 32:36Speaker 2: It's not, it's like a disappointed mom energy. We don't
- 32:41Speaker 2: want it off. Does it work? So that flopped. The
- 32:49Speaker 2: Epstein files, they said they were going to come out.
- 32:52Speaker 2: They're not coming out, or they're coming out, but they're
- 32:55Speaker 2: heavily redacted. Um, 500 pages in the Epstein files were
- 33:01Speaker 2: entirely blacked out. It's very obvious to everyone that Jeffrey
- 33:05Speaker 2: Epstein was an intelligence agent that was working on behalf
- 33:08Speaker 2: of Israel and the United States to a degree. But
- 33:14Speaker 2: this is why the files are not coming out. They're not,
- 33:19Speaker 2: it's not because Trump is protecting billionaire friends that he's
- 33:22Speaker 2: never cared about. He's not falling on the sword for
- 33:27Speaker 2: his friends. That's not the Trump we know and love.
- 33:31Speaker 2: The Trump we know and love is throwing people in
- 33:35Speaker 2: front of a car so that he doesn't get hit.
- 33:39Speaker 2: That's why people in this country elected him. That's the
- 33:42Speaker 2: character of an American. The character of an American is
- 33:45Speaker 2: someone who throws their wife in front of a fire
- 33:49Speaker 2: to give themselves another few minutes to get out of
- 33:52Speaker 2: the house. That's because America is about survival. It's about survival.
- 33:59Speaker 2: It's not an emotional country. Like we're all psychotic, but
- 34:03Speaker 2: it's not an emotion. Like when people call me a
- 34:05Speaker 2: nihilistic sociopath, like they do all the time in the press,
- 34:09Speaker 2: I'm simply telling people what it is and no one
- 34:13Speaker 2: wants to hear it. So they get all angry. Yeah. Yeah.
- 34:18Speaker 2: The idea that this is like a deeply spiritual country
- 34:23Speaker 2: of loving people, it's like psychotic to believe that. Can
- 34:27Speaker 2: you imagine believing that? That this country is full of
- 34:30Speaker 2: heroic people, heroes? Heroes just walking around every day? giving
- 34:37Speaker 2: of themselves for their communities and families, that you couldn't
- 34:42Speaker 2: convince someone of that. You couldn't convince Nick Reiner of
- 34:46Speaker 2: that on whatever the hell he was on. So.
- 34:50Speaker 2: This idea that Donald Trump is falling on a sword
- 34:57Speaker 2: for other billionaires that he doesn't want them to be
- 35:04Speaker 2: seen in a bad light doesn't make any sense. Let's
- 35:07Speaker 2: throw that explanation out. Okay? Explanation number two, the Kash
- 35:13Speaker 2: Patel explanation. There's nothing there. There's thousands of pages of
- 35:19Speaker 2: documents that have been redacted by the CIA and the FBI,
- 35:23Speaker 2: but none of them say anything because nothing even happened. Remember,
- 35:28Speaker 2: that was how this all started. Pam Bondi and Kash Patel,
- 35:32Speaker 2: the Keystone cops, were like, this thing's not even real. So, like, what?
- 35:36Speaker 2: It's a hoax. It's fake. It's been grossly exaggerated, and
- 35:42Speaker 2: none of it... He was a pervert and a freak,
- 35:45Speaker 2: but there was no accomplices. He didn't do anything. They
- 35:48Speaker 2: said that. There were no accomplices. There's 15 pictures out
- 35:52Speaker 2: right now of Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, and this guy
- 35:56Speaker 2: windsurfing or whatever, and apparently this guy... You know, nothing
- 36:02Speaker 2: was ever happening or going on because this was just
- 36:04Speaker 2: like a weird rich guy, a weird pervert. And, you know,
- 36:12Speaker 2: by the way, it's funny you see these photos. This
- 36:14Speaker 2: is the only time you've ever seen any of these
- 36:16Speaker 2: people having fun. So that was explanation number two, why
- 36:26Speaker 2: they're not coming out. Explanation number three, which I find
- 36:31Speaker 2: more plausible because I have gotten rid of explanation one
- 36:35Speaker 2: and two. And to review, explanation one, Donald Trump feels
- 36:42Speaker 2: really bad for like other people and wants to protect
- 36:46Speaker 2: their image. That was explanation number one. that Donald Trump
- 36:52Speaker 2: is hung up on the idea that a buddy or
- 36:57Speaker 2: two of his might go down here. And he's like,
- 37:01Speaker 2: that bums him out. So he's going to fall on
- 37:06Speaker 2: the sword and basically take the heat for other people
- 37:15Speaker 2: in an act of selflessness. he was going to throw
- 37:19Speaker 2: himself in front of the bus because other people might
- 37:25Speaker 2: be inconvenienced by this, to say the least. Explanation number two,
- 37:32Speaker 2: none of this ever happened None of these people ever
- 37:36Speaker 2: did anything wrong. There was no trafficking ring. There were
- 37:40Speaker 2: no accomplices. Nothing, nothing even happened. Now that was explanation
- 37:46Speaker 2: two given to you by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
- 37:51Speaker 2: That was their response. Remember, that was option two given
- 37:57Speaker 2: to you by who? Your aunt? No, the Federal Bureau
- 38:03Speaker 2: of Investigation. Now option three, a reason that many people
- 38:09Speaker 2: don't think it's coming out is because Jeffrey Epstein was
- 38:13Speaker 2: working on behalf of intelligence agencies in Israel, America, maybe
- 38:22Speaker 2: he was working with the Brits, maybe the French, maybe
- 38:27Speaker 2: he got around. And what he was doing was he
- 38:31Speaker 2: was a conduit between powerful people People that were current
- 38:38Speaker 2: government officials, former government officials, you know, corporate leaders, you know, whatever.
- 38:48Speaker 2: The jet set, as they call them. And Jeffrey Epstein
- 38:51Speaker 2: was finding ways for all of these people to make
- 38:55Speaker 2: money whilst blackmailing them and videotaping their liaisons with underage people,
- 39:07Speaker 2: their illegal, immoral, disgusting, evil acts, and then keeping the
- 39:12Speaker 2: tapes or selling them to the highest bidder or using
- 39:19Speaker 2: them as leverage or whatever the case may be, but
- 39:22Speaker 2: that would require, option three would require like a... pretty
- 39:31Speaker 2: like big public fallout when and if that information became
- 39:40Speaker 2: public that our own government or an allied government was
- 39:47Speaker 2: blackmailing And when I say our government, I mean factions.
- 39:52Speaker 2: I don't mean everybody. I don't mean your aunt who's
- 39:56Speaker 2: the cop troller in New Jersey. I mean deeply powerful
- 40:01Speaker 2: factions of our intelligence community blackmailing congressmen, senators, presidents, prime ministers. Okay?
- 40:15Speaker 2: Morgan & Morgan's a law firm. Did you slip on
- 40:18Speaker 2: the butter? was left out you're eating french fries at
- 40:22Speaker 2: the beach and you want to take a quick dip
- 40:24Speaker 2: in the ocean you put a seagull on watch that's
- 40:26Speaker 2: not security it's catering for the seagull i've read that
- 40:29Speaker 2: so many times i have no idea what that means
- 40:32Speaker 2: there's a reason you wouldn't trust a seagull with your
- 40:34Speaker 2: fries just like there's a reason you wouldn't trust insurance
- 40:36Speaker 2: companies with your case oh i get it now because
- 40:40Speaker 2: when people show up whether it's for help or answers
- 40:42Speaker 2: or justice they deserve somebody who's actually on their side
- 40:46Speaker 2: Hire Morgan & Morgan. I love these guys. They've been

- 42:30Speaker 2: also find Neuro at CVS and Amazon. So that seems
- 42:34Speaker 2: to be option three of why it hasn't come out. Like,
- 42:37Speaker 2: for example... You don't really have to know much about
- 42:41Speaker 2: anything to know right now that it seems very likely,
- 42:48Speaker 2: and I've talked to smart people who believe that there's
- 42:53Speaker 2: kind of a civil war within our intelligence community in America.
- 43:00Speaker 2: One faction of our, and by the way, there's multiple
- 43:03Speaker 2: factions in the intelligence community. It's not like one and
- 43:10Speaker 2: then another and then that's it. But I'm going to
- 43:12Speaker 2: talk about one of the divides that I have talked
- 43:15Speaker 2: to smart people about. One of the divides is between
- 43:19Speaker 2: a group of people in the intelligence community who believe
- 43:23Speaker 2: we should get out of the Middle East. We should
- 43:28Speaker 2: not support Israel in attacking Iran. We should divest from
- 43:34Speaker 2: Russia and Ukraine, and we should prepare to fight China.
- 43:43Speaker 2: There are people in the national security establishment who believe that.
- 43:48Speaker 2: This guy Briggs Colby, who you could bring him up.
- 43:53Speaker 2: I want to say he works at the Department of Defense.
- 43:56Speaker 2: I don't exactly know the position offhand. He's one of
- 44:00Speaker 2: the people... whom advocates that point of view, that we
- 44:07Speaker 2: need to position ourself for a potentially inevitable conflict on
- 44:17Speaker 2: some level with China, and that getting bogged down with
- 44:22Speaker 2: Russia or the Middle East, these kind of endless foreign wars,
- 44:27Speaker 2: regime change wars, You'd also put, like, Tulsi Gabbard in
- 44:32Speaker 2: that group, even though I'm disappointed with Tulsi about a
- 44:35Speaker 2: lot of shit. Not that I don't like Tulsi Gabbard
- 44:39Speaker 2: or that I don't think she's good at Tough Mudders
- 44:41Speaker 2: and I like people from Hawaii or whatever, you know,
- 44:45Speaker 2: whatever she does. I don't, you know. I like that.
- 44:49Speaker 2: But I'm a little disappointed by the fact that, you know,
- 44:56Speaker 2: I don't know, the gas lit. people and they continue
- 44:59Speaker 2: to do so when they when she came out and
- 45:01Speaker 2: was like yeah all these people are doing this say
- 45:04Speaker 2: their names what are you you know like what are
- 45:06Speaker 2: we stupid you know there's something going on because joe
- 45:10Speaker 2: kent came out and asked kash patel i want to
- 45:12Speaker 2: look into potential foreign intelligence in the kirk assassination and
- 45:17Speaker 2: kash patel's like fuck you you're not getting any of
- 45:20Speaker 2: these files and and so you have tulsi gabbard and
- 45:23Speaker 2: joe kent kind of on one side of this, going,
- 45:26Speaker 2: I want to look at foreign intelligence, whatever, whatever happened
- 45:30Speaker 2: or didn't happen, we just want to see the files.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Kash Patel's like, it's an ongoing investigation, you cannot see
- 45:37Speaker 2: the files, and fuck you. So right there is a
- 45:42Speaker 2: public rift of that war that I'm talking about, that
- 45:46Speaker 2: kind of, you know, underground conflict between factions in our
- 45:55Speaker 2: intelligence community.
- 45:57Speaker 3: You have the FBI, you have Kash Patel, you have that,
- 46:04Speaker 3: the Bureau going, don't compromise our investigation.
- 46:07Speaker 2: You have Joe Kent going, we want to know about
- 46:13Speaker 2: what happened with the oversight of Here. So here is Colby.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Pentagon policy chief's rogue decisions have irked U.S. allies and
- 46:25Speaker 2: the Trump administration. This is a political hit piece, right?
- 46:30Speaker 2: So this is a political hit piece, okay? And this
- 46:36Speaker 2: was written in July, I believe, right? Yeah. Yeah. So
- 46:40Speaker 2: this is a faction of people and this guy is again,
- 46:44Speaker 2: not like the highest level guy, but he's pretty high level.
- 46:47Speaker 2: And does it say exactly what his position is?
- 46:51Speaker 5: I think there's a part here about his position on Ukraine.
- 46:54Speaker 2: No, his position in the defense department.
- 46:57Speaker 5: Oh, I think he might be like the undersecretary.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Yeah. He might be undersecretary. I believe that's what he is. Um,
- 47:07Speaker 2: since joining the second Trump administration as a Pentagon's top
- 47:10Speaker 2: policy chief. Okay. So that's a faction. Okay. That's clearly
- 47:19Speaker 2: not the only faction. There's another faction that wants more
- 47:23Speaker 2: interventions that believes that the power vacuum in the middle
- 47:29Speaker 2: East gets filled by China and Russia and And that
- 47:32Speaker 2: faction of people is more aligned with neoconservative people in
- 47:38Speaker 2: those departments. And they want Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio.
- 47:44Speaker 2: And the Colby faction wants JD Vance. And the Tucker faction, Colby,
- 47:48Speaker 2: not the Tuckers, the CIA, but Tucker clearly has a
- 47:51Speaker 2: preference for Vance and for that foreign policy position prevailing.
- 47:58Speaker 2: That we should not be in... embroiled in in the
- 48:03Speaker 2: middle east although he does like qatar he didn't because
- 48:07Speaker 2: we're not fighting wars he would say we're not fighting
- 48:09Speaker 2: wars on behalf of qatar um those are factions get
- 48:13Speaker 2: up the joe kent stuff with uh with um tulsi
- 48:19Speaker 2: and kash patel these are different factions that are fighting
- 48:23Speaker 2: for control of whatever comes after trump And this is
- 48:29Speaker 2: kind of a, it's a conflict that smart people know about.
- 48:34Speaker 2: And I'm not saying if you know about it, if
- 48:36Speaker 2: you don't know about it, you're not smart. I'm just
- 48:37Speaker 2: saying like, whatever, you're not reading, you have a life, right?
- 48:41Speaker 2: So you're like have a family and a job. So
- 48:43Speaker 2: you're not reading all this crap that I read and
- 48:44Speaker 2: you're talking to these crazy people. It's all I do
- 48:46Speaker 2: all day is talk to crazy people. They're interesting to
- 48:48Speaker 2: a degree, but they're insane. And you know, they're, they
- 48:52Speaker 2: have very interesting positions all over, you know, in media
- 48:55Speaker 2: and government or whatever. And they're interesting and they're nuts
- 48:58Speaker 2: and they believe X or Y or Z. And you
- 49:00Speaker 2: really don't know who's who or who works for who
- 49:02Speaker 2: or who's why anyone believes any thing and who's getting
- 49:06Speaker 2: paid and whatever. It's an odd world. Um, but these
- 49:09Speaker 2: are the factions that are, that are lining up and
- 49:12Speaker 2: it's all about control of money and control of power
- 49:18Speaker 2: and who gets their friends in? Who gets their people in?
- 49:23Speaker 2: Who's able to go in with their crew and staff
- 49:28Speaker 2: all of these agencies and try, because again, these agencies
- 49:32Speaker 2: are not always going to be responsive to the incoming administration.
- 49:40Speaker 2: They've been trying to fire that guy forever, by the way.
- 49:42Speaker 2: A lot of people want that guy fired. That's why
- 49:44Speaker 2: Politico wrote that hit piece. He tried to stop arms
- 49:48Speaker 2: shipments to Ukraine. His position on this stuff is kind
- 49:53Speaker 2: of known, but a lot of people don't want that
- 49:56Speaker 2: guy in. Counterterrorism nominee Joe Kent, under scrutiny, has emails
- 50:04Speaker 2: show he pushed for edits to intelligence articles. Okay, this
- 50:09Speaker 2: is not... But here, just to show you who he is.
- 50:14Speaker 2: Emails obtained by CBS News show Joe Kent, who currently
- 50:16Speaker 2: serves to the chief of staff to director of national intelligence,
- 50:20Speaker 2: Tulsi Gabbard. So that's what he does, okay? He is
- 50:26Speaker 2: the chief of staff to director... Tulsi Gabbard, the director
- 50:32Speaker 2: of national intelligence, whatever, it's kind of a fake job.
- 50:36Speaker 2: they're trying to do the best that they can, I guess,
- 50:38Speaker 2: trying to figure out what the hell's going on. But
- 50:41Speaker 2: he asked Kash Patel to see the files that they
- 50:47Speaker 2: had on the Charlie Kirk case. And the request was
- 50:52Speaker 2: flat out denied. They're like, no, we're not going to
- 50:55Speaker 2: show you what we have. It's an ongoing investigation. I
- 50:59Speaker 2: don't know why it's ongoing. I thought they got the
- 51:02Speaker 2: guy and I don't know why he's, I don't know
- 51:08Speaker 2: why anyone's talking about foreign intelligence with this assassination. Again,
- 51:12Speaker 2: I'm confused. But that's, again, just an example of, yeah,
- 51:20Speaker 2: officials' access to FBI files in Charlie Kirk case drew pushback.
- 51:27Speaker 2: An inquiry by Joe Kent, who leads the National Counterterrorism Center,
- 51:31Speaker 2: is said to have alarmed Kash Patel, the FBI director.
- 51:36Speaker 2: They don't want him poking around. This is not completely
- 51:39Speaker 2: unprecedented and rare. The FBI does not like that there
- 51:45Speaker 2: are other agencies that have oversight. The inquiry by Joe Kent,
- 51:49Speaker 2: the director of the Counterterrorism Center, alarmed Kash Patel, the
- 51:52Speaker 2: director of the FBI. Mr. Patel and other senior officials
- 51:55Speaker 2: believe Mr. Kent was overstepping, treading on FBI responsibilities and
- 51:59Speaker 2: potentially interfering with the investigation and prosecution of Tyler Robinson.
- 52:05Speaker 2: But supporters of Mr. Kent say he was doing his
- 52:07Speaker 2: job running down leads and making sure no foreign or
- 52:10Speaker 2: domestic groups were linked to Mr. Kirk's death. So you
- 52:16Speaker 2: see the little schisms happening. We had a very weird
- 52:20Speaker 2: shooting at MIT. A weird shooting at Brown. Horrible shooting
- 52:25Speaker 2: at Brown. Horrible that anyone loses their life ever in
- 52:30Speaker 2: a horrible way like that. A young woman, two people
- 52:34Speaker 2: at Brown.
- 52:35Speaker 5: Yeah, two people.
- 52:36Speaker 2: Two people at Brown. And then a nuclear fusion scientist,
- 52:41Speaker 2: something like that, right?
- 52:43Speaker 5: Yes, from MIT.
- 52:44Speaker 2: From MIT. And the same guy... killed all of them,
- 52:50Speaker 2: and then killed himself in a storage shed. Let's listen
- 52:56Speaker 2: to a little bit of this. Again, this is probably
- 52:58Speaker 2: something that will disappear from the news in a day.
- 53:00Speaker 2: And no one will ever know what happened. But it's
- 53:05Speaker 2: fucking weird. It's a little weird that a guy walked
- 53:13Speaker 2: onto the campus of Brown, shot these two people, and
- 53:15Speaker 2: then shot A guy from MIT and he killed himself
- 53:19Speaker 2: in a storage shed. Let's hear a little bit of this.
- 53:21Speaker 7: Two shootings at two major schools in the Northeast and
- 53:24Speaker 7: police now say they could be connected.
- 53:26Speaker 4: Good afternoon, everyone.
- 53:27Speaker 2: I'm Kira Phillips.
- 53:28Speaker 7: We begin with that breaking news. Multiple sources briefed on
- 53:32Speaker 7: the investigation telling ABC News the mass shooting at Brown
- 53:35Speaker 7: University and the murder of an MIT professor in Massachusetts.
- 53:40Speaker 2: May be linked.
- 53:41Speaker 7: Let's bring in our Christian Cordero there on the scene
- 53:44Speaker 7: in Providence, Rhode Island. Also, our chief investigative correspondent, Aaron Katursky,
- 53:48Speaker 7: plus our contributor and former NYPD chief of detectives, Robert Boyce. So, Aaron,
- 53:52Speaker 7: what do we know now?
- 53:53Speaker 2: Aaron Katursky, NYPD Chief of Detectives.
- 53:56Speaker 8: Law enforcement sources tell ABC News, Kira, that the shooting
- 53:59Speaker 8: at Brown University that killed two students may, in fact,
- 54:03Speaker 8: be connected to the shooting death, the apparent murder of
- 54:06Speaker 8: MIT professor Nuno Lallero, who was shot and killed in
- 54:10Speaker 8: the foyer of his Brookline home on Monday night, pronounced
- 54:15Speaker 8: dead on Tuesday morning at the hospital. At first, the
- 54:19Speaker 8: FBI said there was no known connection. But in the
- 54:22Speaker 8: last 24 hours, sources told ABC News that the investigative
- 54:27Speaker 8: teams on both the cases began to compare notes and
- 54:30Speaker 8: information started to gel that the two shooting incidents may
- 54:35Speaker 8: in fact be connected. The authorities have not said this publicly.
- 54:39Speaker 8: but this is what we're hearing now from multiple law
- 54:41Speaker 8: enforcement sources. We also understand that authorities may be close
- 54:46Speaker 8: to naming a suspect.
- 54:48Speaker 2: So we have the suspect. We have the guy that
- 54:52Speaker 2: did this. He's dead, and he killed himself in a
- 54:55Speaker 2: storage shed. What's his name? I don't know why nothing
- 55:02Speaker 2: seems to make sense anymore, and I don't want to
- 55:04Speaker 2: sound like a nut, And I'm not saying and alleging
- 55:09Speaker 2: that we're always, everything's a lie all the time. But
- 55:12Speaker 2: it is just odd that like crimes used to have motives.
- 55:15Speaker 2: You know, when I grew up, crimes had motives. Like
- 55:19Speaker 2: somebody would do something and there would be a tangible
- 55:21Speaker 2: reason as to why that person did it. And the
- 55:24Speaker 2: news media would doggedly try to find out why the
- 55:28Speaker 2: person did the crime. And now that that's kind of
- 55:33Speaker 2: less of a thing. Now it's like Clue. It's like
- 55:38Speaker 2: a weird thing of Clue where they're like, he killed
- 55:41Speaker 2: someone in the meat locker with the hair dryer. And
- 55:48Speaker 2: you go, okay. And he's like, well, he shot somebody
- 55:52Speaker 2: in the frozen foods aisle with the bazooka. And you go, okay,
- 55:59Speaker 2: but why? Well, we don't know. Right. Right. Well, he
- 56:05Speaker 2: was basically, he had a samurai sword and he was
- 56:09Speaker 2: in the phone booth and he cut the guy's head off.
- 56:13Speaker 2: But nobody really knows why. A Reddit post from a
- 56:17Speaker 2: homeless man at Brown University helped investigators find the mass shooter. Well,
- 56:24Speaker 2: thank God. Thank God that... By the way, this is
- 56:28Speaker 2: Kash Patel's FBI. It has now come down to a
- 56:33Speaker 2: Reddit post from a homeless person. So if you're killed
- 56:37Speaker 2: in this country, you better hope that a vagrant tweets
- 56:41Speaker 2: about it so that Kash Patel can find out. Hope
- 56:45Speaker 2: they tweet at FBI director, at Kash, I just killed someone.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Literally Reddit pages where homeless people post are the only
- 56:56Speaker 2: people doing any investigations in this country. Them and Candace Owens.
- 56:59Speaker 2: Let's watch this.
- 57:04Speaker 5: This was just them, like, searching for the snow for footprints.
- 57:06Speaker 2: Oh, good. Look at this. Look at the FBI searching
- 57:09Speaker 2: for footprints in the snow. This is the biggest joke.
- 57:14Speaker 2: I mean, they're doing a dance. These people are doing
- 57:18Speaker 2: a dance. They're doing a ceremonial dance because they just
- 57:23Speaker 2: did a human sacrifice. Who was the guy that got
- 57:27Speaker 2: shot at MIT? Who was that guy? And what did
- 57:32Speaker 2: he do? He was a scientist, right?
- 57:35Speaker 5: He was a nuclear fusion researcher.
- 57:36Speaker 2: He was a nuclear fusion scientist. And now Trump just
- 57:39Speaker 2: signed a deal with a fusion company, like today. Yeah.
- 57:45Speaker 2: And there was a guy on the board of that company,
- 57:49Speaker 2: I think, who knew this guy. Why is Truth Social owner...
- 58:02Speaker 2: merging with, why is Truth Social owner Trump Media merging
- 58:09Speaker 2: with a fusion energy firm? So on a day after
- 58:12Speaker 2: this guy gets whacked, Trump Media and Technology Group, owner
- 58:17Speaker 2: of Donald Trump's Truth Social media platform, announced a merger
- 58:20Speaker 2: on Wednesday with a company developing fusion energy technology. Interesting. Fun. Fun. Fun.
- 58:31Speaker 2: And this guy who was a fusion scientist gets whacked
- 58:33Speaker 2: the day before again. I'm not saying there's anything there.
- 58:36Speaker 2: It's just fun to know. Who is the suspect? Go
- 58:40Speaker 2: back to that. So a Reddit thread posted by a
- 58:43Speaker 2: homeless guy. You don't think of the homeless on Reddit,
- 58:45Speaker 2: but I imagine many of them are. Let's read this here.
- 58:53Speaker 2: Is there? Yeah. Police are probably going to sift through
- 58:58Speaker 2: a lot more Reddit posts in the future. One of
- 59:01Speaker 2: those online posts played a big role in helping investigators
- 59:03Speaker 2: find the suspect who killed two students in Brown. Remember,
- 59:06Speaker 2: Kash Patel, they said they had the guy. They used geolocation. whatever,
- 59:10Speaker 2: you know, they traced his phone, and then they had
- 59:13Speaker 2: to let him go. This is what they do over
- 59:16Speaker 2: there at the FBI. They find someone, and then they
- 59:18Speaker 2: announce to the public, they're like, we've used geolocation to
- 59:22Speaker 2: find the, and then they have to let them go.
- 59:25Speaker 8: Great.
- 59:26Speaker 2: The 48-year-old suspect, Claudio Neves Valente, was found dead in
- 59:31Speaker 2: a New Hampshire storage facility Thursday night. Authorities say he
- 59:36Speaker 2: killed Brown University students, Muhammad Aziz Umarkazov and Ella Cook,
- 59:42Speaker 2: and then murdered MIT professor Nuno Luriero. It took investigators
- 59:47Speaker 2: a long time to ID the suspect after the mass
- 59:50Speaker 2: shooting Saturday night in Providence, followed by the assassination of
- 59:53Speaker 2: the professor Monday night. Then on Tuesday, authorities received a
- 59:56Speaker 2: tip from an anonymous source about a Reddit post on
- 59:59Speaker 2: the Providence subreddit. According to the affidavit, the Reddit poster,
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: a homeless man claimed that he saw the suspected shooter
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: walking in the area of the Brown university mass shooting quote.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: I'm being dead serious reads the Reddit post. The police
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: need to look into a gray Nissan with Florida plates,
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: possibly a rental. That was the car he was driving.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: So Kash Patel and the FBI are now relying on
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: the homeless to solve the crimes. No, no, no. Folks,
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: they're relying on the homeless. The reason the Epstein list
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: isn't out is because the homeless haven't gotten involved. This
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: is why they, Kash Patel didn't realize that there was
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: a human trafficking ring that Epstein was running because a
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: homeless guy hadn't posted about it on Reddit. The Federal
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: Bureau of Investigation is now depending on the homeless in
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: the country. Up until that point in the investigation, police
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: had not released any videos with a gray Nissan or
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: vehicle at Florida plates, based on the tip. So, basically,
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: the homeless are doing a better job than Kash Patel's FBI.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: And Kash Patel, by the way, while this is all happening,
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: is on a podcast with his girlfriend. He's on a
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: podcast with his girlfriend. Okay? Okay? Dan Bongino just left
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: the FBI to come back to podcasting. Welcome back, brother.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: Who predicted that a year ago? The guy that didn't
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: get invited to Conan's party. That guy. Bongino's coming back
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: to a place where he can make a goddamn difference.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: The desk. Come back to the podcast world. We can
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: make change here. It's not like the fucking feds. Can
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: we watch a little bit of this abortion? Can you,
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: this is the director, folks. This is the, I'm going
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: to campaign for AOC. I will campaign for Mamdani. I
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: am putting the burqa on. This is the campaign, I'm sorry,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: this is the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: This girl in Brown University was shot in her face
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: and tragically lost her life. And I'm not gonna be
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: kidding anymore. She tragically lost her life. She was shot
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: in the head. Okay? This fool with his girlfriend is
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: on a fucking podcast. Katie Miller, Stephen Miller's wife. This
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: isn't even a high-rated podcast. This isn't even a big one. Okay?
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: This isn't even a big fucking podcast. This ain't Call
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Her Daddy. This is some dumb shit. This is not
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: even worth it. They don't even get good views. Let's
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: watch a little bit of this. Disgusting.
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: On a personal level, of course, I wish we didn't
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: have to deal with the attacks. Like, she should be
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: out there touring and.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: She should be out there touring. Call, call AOC. I'm
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: giving her money. I swear to God. And I was
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: never even... Listen, I was never a huge fan of
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: this guy because I didn't know much about him. And
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: it felt weird. It all felt weird. And now it's
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: fucking insane. But I am donating money to, I mean,
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: it's just, this is couldn't have, I mean, it's just,
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: it's good for my show. And it's good for the
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: podcast world, which is why Dan Bongino, I think, is
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: coming back to us. Because truly, that's what this is
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: good for, is like, it's fodder. But what an embarrassment
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: for the country. She should be out touring. We don't
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: like the attacks. She should be out touring. There's a
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: girl at Brown University that's shot in the face. Fire him.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: Fire him. Are you people fucking nuts? You're up at
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Turning Point USA arguing with each other, calling each other
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: fucking feds or whatever, and this guy who's a legitimate
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: fed is saying his girlfriend should be touring while someone
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: got shot in the face, and they don't have the
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: person who did it? And he's deciding to go on
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: a podcast. It's a bad reality show. It's fucking terrible. Here,
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: let's go.
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: Stage as she always has been. And she shouldn't have to.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: Weird set as well. Not a good set. Keep going. Sorry.
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: Collateral consequence of just being the FBI director's girlfriend. But
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: I think with the hypersensitive nature of the media, especially
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: the social media space, people come at you because it
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: takes me back to like when I first did a
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: And he has.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Red, white, and blue socks on. Call Hasan Piker. Go
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: just donate. Just give Hasan Piker a super chat right now.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: Call those that retarded withers, whatever his name is, those
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: fucking twinks from Colorado that live in a mountain that
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: keep screaming. Okay, maybe we won't go that far, but
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: I'm just saying this. What? It's just absurd. Anyway, get
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: them out of here. I can't even listen. Can't even
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: listen to them. Let me tell you something and you
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: need to hear it. We live in a world that
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: is designed to steal from you. It's designed to leave
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: you exposed in the greatest scam of all the data brokers.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: These people are selling your life, your credit score and
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: pictures of your grotesque family to the highest bidder. We
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: all talk about how every move we make leaves a trail,
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: a tax pathetic post. Every time you buy a coffee,
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: nothing disappears. And that's the problem. After seeing what these
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: scammers and identity thieves are doing with stolen data, it
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: genuinely hit me. We're all walking targets. You know, you
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: read the news and every week there's another big company
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: being hit by a data breach. You think, well, I
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: never did business with them. But somehow your personal information
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: has been leaked by the data anyway. How does this happen?
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: Because these data brokers sold it to them. Your data
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: is being passed around like a cheap whore at a
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: finance pro party. Incogni stops that transaction. I had a
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: situation recently, and this is a true story, where somebody
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: was trying to open a bunch of credit accounts in
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: my name. They had my old address, my phone number,
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: even the name of my dog, which is confidential. This
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: information was out there, sold by some loser data broker
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: for $ 5. Criminals can open credit accounts, file tax returns,
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: and even commit crimes in your name. Just by buying
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: up these pathetic little spreadsheets of your life, it's disgusting.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: That's why you need to realize that incogni isn't just
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: about deleting your data from a few lists. It's about
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: removing yourself from the internet, vanishing from the digital grid
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: before it collapses and takes your identity with it. That's
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: why I use incogni and you should too. Incogni reaches
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: out to these companies and tells them to delete your information.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: You give them permission once and they relentlessly handle the rest.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: Incogni works in the background and silently removes your information.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: And now, whew, it's 3 a.m. And now they've launched
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: this feature. It's brilliant. It's a total game-changer, and it's
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: what you need if you have a stalker at X,
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: somebody who just hates your guts. I'm talking about Incogni's
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: new custom removal feature, available in the Unlimited and Family
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: Unlimited plans. This is huge. If you see your private information,
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: maybe your actual home address, phone number floating around on
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: a specific scummy site, you can flag it, and Incogni
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: will go after it directly. This is the kind of
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: protection you need when the world is full of psychopaths
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: and losers that want to ruin your life. Criminals can

- 1:07:33Speaker 2: I cannot say enough good things about ethos. Talk about
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: an experience you or a loved one had that taught
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: you about the importance of life insurance. Well, I'd be
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: glad to. My cousin, Frankie, Frankie Felix. That's his name.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: He was like, I don't need life insurance. I'm going
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: to live forever. Well, guess what happened to Frankie Felix?
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: Guess what happened to him?
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: He was at a carnival with his children. He wanted
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: to take them to a local carnival. Oh, it's all
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: fun and games, is it? Frankie Felix and his children. Well,
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: he took them to a carnival. And he was standing
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: too close to the... We used to call it the
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: salt and pepper shaker. It was a ride. And he
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: was decapitated in front of his children. His head was
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: not clear off his body in front of his children.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: His head was on the ground. It landed head up
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: like Final Destination with an expression on it. He was like... Now,
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: these children were traumatized by that until they found out
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: that Ethos was an online platform that makes getting life
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: insurance fast and easy and that Frankie Felix had actually,
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: even though we all made fun of him, he actually
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: had Ethos. And they were happy. It's a trustworthy company
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: that disrupts the traditional life insurance industry. As of March 2025,
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: business insider named Ethos, the number one no medical exam,
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: instant life insurance provider. Protect your family with life insurance
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: from Ethos, just like Frankie Felix, my cousin who was

- 1:09:34Speaker 2: His head was knocked off his body in front of
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: his children so that you could live your life. Thank you. Um,
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: this is what the Republican party is because I mean,
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: it's like, it's, it's really insane that Democrats will and
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: should win the midterms and hopefully, you know, they should
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: win the next election. They do. If they can be sane,
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: they may or may not. But if this isn't some
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: kind of fuckery with this thing with the MIT and
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: the dead in the storage, if this isn't something, if
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: something dark isn't afoot, then I truly don't know what's
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: going on. There used to be crimes that would have
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: a little bit of, that would make some sense. And
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: maybe this one will make sense. There used to be motives.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: Used to go, yeah, that guy, he's somebody who's fucking
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: his wife. He killed them. Not good, but you understood
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: it in your mind. Now you just, again, you have...
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: It's Mad Libs. It's Mad Libs where you go MIT.
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: You write it down. You go MIT, nuclear scientist. This
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: guy's here, that guy there. If you talk about it,
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: you sound like a conspiracy theorist. If you literally were
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: to just tell somebody the actual facts of this, you
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: would sound like a conspiracy theorist without mentioning any conspiracies,
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: by the way. If you just said... There was a guy,
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: he was a nuclear fusion scientist, MIT, crawling with spies,
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: shot in his house. Then at Brown University, This girl
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: got shot and then some other guy. Now they found
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: the guy who did it because a homeless guy posted
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: on Reddit and then the FBI director decided to take
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: a break from his girlfriend's tour schedule to try to
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: arrest a guy who actually was another weird guy who
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: knew this guy he shot. I think they knew each other.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: Let's find that article. They kind of knew each other.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: And he ended up killing himself in a storage facility
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: in New Hampshire. If you were to just say that,
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: you would sound like you were trying to say something else.
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: But everything now is mask off. Everything is mask off.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: We're at the end of whatever this thing has been,
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: whatever you want to call it. Democracy, oligarchy, you know,
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: an attempt at representative government, it is mask off. And
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: all of the factions that I'm talking about are fighting
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: for a peace and essentially the peace. And that includes
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: the teal tech people, which is, you know, Vance's, you know,
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: would have to eventually, I guess, make clear that, what
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: exactly he feels about these people and, you know, what
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: exactly he thinks their role is in a government. They
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: want an AI government. That's obvious. They want to get
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: rid of people in all kinds of positions of power.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: They don't really believe in the government. That's a faction.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: The permanent war machine. That's a faction. The global open borders,
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: free trade, protect trade routes, and, you know, ports that
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: are very aligned with the permanent war people, that faction,
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: that's a group. That's a faction. The closed border... Paleo-conservative,
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: get ready to fight China, get out of the Middle East, anti-Israel,
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: that's a faction. The pro-Israel people are a faction. They
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: care only about the Greater Israel Project and believe that
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: the United States should be supporting Israel in everything it does.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: That's a faction. All of these people are factions. The
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: Qataris are a faction. They're getting involved in the game,
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: and they're saying, we want advocates in America. We want
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: to give people money. All of these people are factions,
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: and what they are fighting for is the last bit
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: of meat on the carcass of this empire. This is
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: absolutely what is quite obvious. Nobody is pretending anymore that
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: it is anything other than that. That's exactly what it is.
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: People know that in the next however many years, it
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: is going to get pretty bad with AI, with climate,
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: All of these things. And they need to figure out
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: how they're going to ride all of that out and
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: get to the next thing. Whatever the next thing is.
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: And they don't say it explicitly. They're not going to
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: bring it up, but they do hint every now and
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: then that there's going to be a next thing. They
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: don't believe that democracies work. They think it's too corrupt.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: One side says it's the NGOs and the courts, the
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: non-governmental organizations, and they have points. The other side says
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: it is the, you know, patriarchy, the prominence of white
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: men in positions of power, the, you know, stained history of,
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: of our country and that all these things need to
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: be erased and replaced with a system where they have
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: more power. It's just a fight till the end here.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: Slain MIT professor's physics career flourished as his suspected killers floundered.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: Claudio Neves Valente and Nuno Lauriera were once peers. Decades later,
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: Valente is believed to have killed Lauriera days after a
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: rampage at Brown University. So maybe this guy was settling
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: a score. The two young men were peers, brilliant, aspiring
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: scientists working toward a degree at Portugal's most prestigious engineering school.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: a white building at the top of a grassy plaza
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: in Lisbon. A quarter century later, both were in the
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: United States, but their paths had diverged radically. Nuno Luriero
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: was a physics professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology,
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: a beloved mentor who researched the behavior of plasmas. Claudio
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: Neves Valente was living in Miami, his scientific career long discarded.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: On Monday, Valente hunted down Luriero, authorities said, shooting him
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: at the home he shared with his wife and three
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: daughters near Boston. This sounds like a musical. This sounds
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: like a fucking weird musical. These two Portuguese nuclear scientists.
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: What the fuck's going on? What the fuck is going on?
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: I grew up in a country where Americans used to
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: kill each other over things like this. For Valente, it
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: was the second act in a deadly rampage that began
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: at Brown University 48 hours later when he burst into
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: a lecture hall and opened fire, killing two undergraduates in
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: an economics class. Study session, Valente subsequently killed himself in
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: a storage unit in New Hampshire. Police said an autopsy
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: conducted Friday by the New Hampshire Medical Examiner's Office concluded
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: that Valente died Tuesday from a gunshot wound to the head.
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: Investigators have not yet revealed the motive for the attacks,
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: but both have links to Valente's long ago days as
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: a student, first at the Instituto Superior Technico and then
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: at Brown. At Brown-Valenti, targeted a building at the heart
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: of the university's physics program. It's a place where he
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: would have taken classes during his brief time enrolled. So
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: maybe the guy had a total mental snap. In Lauriero's case,
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: authorities believe the two men knew each other, and in 1995,
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: both were enrolled in the physical and technological engineering program
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: at Technico, as the school is known in Portugal. Nuno Morias,
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: a fellow tecnico student at the time, said he knew
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: both men. Valente was one of the best students in
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: the class, highly competitive and driven. He showed no signs
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: of having mental health struggles back when they were students. Lurierio,
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: or whatever, I'm fucking all these names up, was also
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: an excellent classmate, but more relaxed than Valente. He described
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: both as friendly. Lauriero slaying has shocked the scientific and
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: engineering community in Portugal. Tragedies like this should make us
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: think carefully about the mental health toll of a, quote,
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: hyper-competitive culture. Okay. Okay. What? Like, again, sure, but is
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: that what happened? Were they fucking back in the day?
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: Does this guy hate this guy a lot? I don't know.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: I don't know what's going on. Maybe the guy had
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: a mental break. Yeah, I don't know. All right. I
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: don't know. I don't know anymore, folks. Miriam Adelson pledges
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: $ 250 million for a third Trump term at a White
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: House Hanukkah party. Well, finally, some good holiday cheer. Let's
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: take a look. Miriam Adelson, friend of the show, with
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: Donald Trump. The thing about Miriam Adelson that I like
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: is there are people that are supervillains and conceal it.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: Miriam does not believe that is her journey. Miriam believes
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: that her fashion sense should put out a supervillain vibe.
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: And I believe everyone should have their own kind of
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: style journey. And let's take a look here. This is, again,
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: President Trump, Miriam Adelson. Here we go.
- 1:19:21Speaker 8: And now I met Alan Dershowitz.
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: Oh, Alan Dershowitz.
- 1:19:26Speaker 5: The legal thing about four more years.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: And I said, Alan, I agree with you. So we
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: can do it. Think about it.
- 1:19:34Speaker 5: Alan's here someplace.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: Where's Alan? Alan is here. Oh, he had a flight.
- 1:19:39Speaker 5: Alan is here.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: Think about it.
- 1:19:46Speaker 5: Thank you. Maybe I will be the first one who
- 1:19:48Speaker 5: told you, or second.
- 1:19:50Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: She said, think about it.
- 1:19:51Speaker 5: I'll give you another $ 250, 000.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: I will give. But her husband, Sheldon, was an amazing guy.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: You know, they seem to be good friends. Here's the thing.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: She's trying to suck money out of the country to
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: do a genocide, and he's kind of paying her back
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: for investing in him after that January 6th thing. But
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: here's what I see. Get that up again and just
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: play it without volume. as I get older, as I'm
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: 40 years old, you know, I could be disappointed about
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: the genocide or, you know, I could even be disappointed
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: in him about, you know, selling America out, the insurrection, whatever.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: What I see though, is a friendship. I actually see
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: a good friendship, like a genuine friend, you know, as
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: you get older, there's less and less people you can
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: relate to. And they're both billionaires, you know, they're at
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: the end of their lives or maybe not, but it
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: seems like it, I mean, they're older and, And they've
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: done a lot together. She helped him get elected. He
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: helped her, you know, pulverize, you know, women and children
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: and men. But here's the thing. There's a friendship here.
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: It's kind of a real friendship. There's a great affection,
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: you can tell by their body language. He respects her.
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: She respects him. She's a tough operator. So is he.
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: You know, that, you know, folks, it's what the goddamn
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: whole thing's about. It really is. Let's take a break
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: from the nonsense for a minute. That's what it's about.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: That's what your life is about, having a couple of buds.
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: Having a couple of buds that you can look back
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: and say, look what we did. You know, in 15
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: years when Gaza's some AI Miami and they're both long dead,
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: but somebody's doing coke, you know, it's some rave, and
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: they talk about these people, you know, there'll be a
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: little statue of Trump down there. And they're probably a
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: statue of her, like, you know, Trump and Miriam. They'll
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: talk about Trump and Miriam. They'll go, how did we
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: do this? Didn't a bunch of people used to live here?
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: And people will go, yeah, but it'll be like... You know?
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: I'll be like, yeah, people used to live here. They
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: used to live in this whole thing, you know? And
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: then they'll talk about these days. And they'll talk about
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: the days before the Great War, you know? And, you know,
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: they'll talk about the times... before America was destroyed in a,
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: you know, a world war. And they'll talk about Trump
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: and Miriam and how they had the foresight to suck
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: the money out of the country now before we defaulted
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: on the dollar and before the great war, you know,
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: before we started losing our standing before the dollar was
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: no longer the reserve currency. They're going to say that
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: Miriam is You know, at the very tail end of
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: our empire, Miriam got the money out of Donald Trump,
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: but she had to give him money to win it.
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: She had to bet on him to get it. She
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: had to make the bet to get it. And that,
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: my friends, is friendship. Believing in each other is friendship.
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: Believing in each other, knowing that, well, we got a
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: few years left before this whole thing goes tits up.
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: This thing's going tits up. Look at the economics. We
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: got a problem here. But it doesn't matter. The people
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: are becoming more nationalist. They're asking for food and healthcare. Gross.
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: But in order to do that, because it works for
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: a while, you know, you pull yourself up by your
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: bootstraps and fucking, you know, start a hedge fund, you pussy,
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: or whatever, you know, whatever, that works for a while.
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: And it's not working that much anymore. So Miriam knows,
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: four more years. She goes, let's get it all done.
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: We can do it all. Alan Dershowitz, that pedophile's defender,
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: who's also credibly been accused of pedophilia, allegedly, Alan Dershowitz,
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: she goes, you know, he wrote a book about you
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: doing another term. It's all good. It's all good. It's
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: all good. And you know, you see them together when
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: he gives her a hug and he gives her a kiss.
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: They've pulled off something amazing when you think about it. Sure,
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: we all suffer for it and it hastens the destruction
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: of our country and it hollows us out financially and culturally, socially,
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: many other ways. You know, and it'll come back to
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: bite us when the refugees from the countries that they
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: destabilize come back here and start randomly attacking us. But whatever, whatever, whatever, whatever,
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: for a minute, let's think about a great friendship, a
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: decades-long friendship between casino magnets who are tough operators and
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: and understand that the true way the world works is this.
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: This is the true way the world... It's not Turning
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: Point USA and the sparklers and the bullshit, the fucking
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: karaoke sing-along they're doing. This is the way the world works.
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: People like Miriam Adelson is how the world works and
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: probably how it is always going to work. You know
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: what I mean? if Putin had dinner with that woman,
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: he'd go, God, Miriam, relax. You know, I mean, she's
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: a fucking tough, like, but she's got a beautiful friendship
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: with our president. And if it's going to end, if
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: it's going to end and if our country is going
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: to be completely ruined, as I fix my hat, shouldn't
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: it be for friendship? Shouldn't it be for two people
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: who love each other and care about each other and
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: believe in each other? Isn't that the great story? That's
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: the great story that no one is telling here. Shapiro
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: and Tucker, they're all arguing and fighting. But the real
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: story is this friendship between billionaire psychopaths. It's the most
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: American thing that you can do. Become a billionaire... with
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: money that people have given you because of crippling gambling addictions.
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: Use that money to win an election. At that point,
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: you start sucking money out of the treasury to, after
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: you've genocided a bunch of people in the Middle East,
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: then build, get this, more casinos on their graves. Folks,
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: That right there is the Christmas story. It's about friendship.
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: That's what it's about. So to Donald Trump and to
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: Miriam Adelson, happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, and may you always
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: find each other. May not be in the same country.
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: It may not be in the same city or the
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: same room, but there'll be moments when Trump thinks about
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: Miriam and Miriam thinks about Donald and whoever goes first
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: will speak of the other fondly, truly. And that is
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: something that not everybody gets. Some people live their entire
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: life without a great friendship, like a phenomenal friendship, you know?
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: And when I look at these two, I say to myself,
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: they've both experienced the joy of having an amazing friendship
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: and supporting each other in times when they're both down.
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: He's called an insurrectionist, a fascist, he's called a genocidal maniac, whatever.
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: Just words, whatever. They always come back together. That's what
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: makes it super special. RIP Rob Reiner. Horrible end. Very
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: sad thing. But he knew joy. He knew success. He
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: had a great life. And he was invited to Conan's
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: fucking party. Goodnight.
