I am your host, Jester Dooms. Good morning. Good morning, Producer Scooter. Good morning. Today is Tuesday, October 6th, 2026. It's only Tuesday. Hope everybody had a fantastic Monday. Mine wasn't too, too bad. It it could have been a lot better. You know, just did not get as much as accomplished as I would have liked to get accomplished. That's all. You know. I think we all know how that goes. See, I have a bad problem with I guess boasting myself up in my brain, thinking I can do all these things, but then I'm fighting against the constraints of time and working within daylight hours. And and then there's like the occasional like, okay, I've crashed, I've worked my ass off today, I'm tired, I'm done, let's let's call it a day. Like there's also those days. So I would say I I'm I'm mediocrely happy with the amount of things that were accomplished. On Monday. Hopefully today is a much better day. More hours can get put into projects and you know we can roll on. ⁓ if you heard me talking in another show, we had we were talking about potentially picking up the neighboring property to us, and it looks like that may actually come to fruition. I've had my eye on this property for almost ten years, if not right at ten years. Okay. And ⁓ I I just I I was always terrified that somebody was gonna buy it, they were gonna build on it and I was gonna be stuck next to people. Cause I live in a very secluded area. Like I'm not I don't have neighbors right on top of me. I like it. I like kind of being out in the middle of nowhere. I'm not saying I don't have neighbors, but they're pretty far away. They're not close by. Like I don't live in you know, I live out in the middle of nowhere. Like I don't live in a fucking cul-de-sac. Like I look out my front door, I don't see another house. I see woods. I look out my back door, I don't see another house. I see woods. You get what I'm saying? And that's how I want my place to be. I like it. So, you know, in the grand scheme of things, potentially picking up this property and purchasing this property is definitely going to keep it secluded. The idea of somebody else buying the property and building on it is now not a thought anymore. And my wife. was talking to the gentleman who has the property for sale and it seems like he would like us to have it. Like that's kind of what it seems like. I would rather have you guys have it and, you know, expand your land and you buy it to retain privacy and things versus I I guess maybe like somebody buying it to flip it or buying it to build on it than flip it. Like I think he's kind of, you know, on the same tune we are like, yeah, I'd rather you guys have it. You're right there. You can make your place bigger and keep your privacy like, you know, makes sense. I mean, maybe at some point in the future, maybe we would like, you know, subdivide off a little section and give it to one of the kids so they could build something, maybe, you know. I mean, but it would then at that point it would just be like a family compound. You know, that's all. Which I, you know, depending on which one of my children would be around, I don't know, you know. I like I've I had thought, you know, my my oldest son, he's he's he's definitely maturing. And he's he's definitely getting his life in order, it seems like. It you know he's not where I was at at his age, ⁓ but the generation is vastly different. But it seems like he has developed a work ethic. It seems like he is, you know, kind of fighting and pushing and and, you know, trying to handle things on his own. I mean, I I still think he has a lot of mental growing to do. I still think that he has a lot of life lessons to learn. But I would love to get like to give him a piece of land and say, here, build something, you know. And that's not just my neighbor at that point. That's my son is right there, you know. ⁓ but I just don't think he's quite there yet. As far as my other kids go, I mean, I I don't know. I don't know what they're gonna turn out like yet. I might not want him anywhere near me. Who knows? My my middle boy, I don't think he's going anywhere. If if if I told him he could build a little shack in the corner, he'd be like, Yeah, sure, dude. I'm not going anywhere. This is great. I love it here. And that that would be the end of that. But it is, it is a really nice it is a really nice thing that's kind of coming to fruition. Like I said, because I've been fantasizing about this property for for ten years, you know, what I would do if I had it, how I would clear cut it, like all these different, you know, all these different things I would do if I acquired said property. And it looks like na it looks like now that may actually happen. And it is it is pretty exciting. And you know, I I wish the price was a little better on it, but I mean, with the way things have changed, I like pre-COV I wish, you know, we could go back to pre COVID prices. But this is the world we live in now. And if if you want certain things, you gotta pay more. I mean, that's that's it. So we are going to see what transpires moving forward, but we it sounds to me like we should have something figured out before the end of the week. ⁓ is kinda the way this is seeming, if not at the end of this week, maybe at the end of next week. You know, it seems like it seems like this guy wants to unload this property like rapid fire. So that's pretty, pretty cool. Anyway, we'll be right back after these messages. Make sure to like, share, and subscribe to the show. Okay. I think this, you know, this story we're about to read here. fuck it. We'll just jump right into it. FBI arrests Chinese woman LAX for allegedly surveilling. Son of Taiwanese president. The Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested a California woman at Los Angeles International Airport on October 4th on suspicion of acting as an unregistered agent for Beijing and surveilling a close relative of a Taiwanese government official, officials said, in quotes, Heather Zhang Wanging, 34, who lives in Ir Irvine, Orange County, was taken into custody by FBI Los Angeles when she attempted to leave the United States. For China, according to the first assistant U.S. attorney for this for the Central District of California. Wow, that's a mouthful. Bill Essali. Esselie? I don't know. The FBI said in a post on X, she surveilled the Taiwanese president's son and his family, filming their home vehicles, and reporting information back to PRC handlers, using the acronym for China's official name, the People's Republic of China. Okay, so let's Let okay, let's break this down for a second. We just had a case last year, I believe. It's either last year or the beginning of this year, where somebody was influencing a paper in LA. Producer Scooter, do you remember that story? You're shaking your head now. Okay, let me refresh your memory. So this lady was part of some sort of news outlet, like a local paper or or something. She was a writer from my understanding. She was also part of like some something else outside of that, like a board member of her HOA, some some goofy shit that I'm trying to remember. Is this ringing a bell yet? Still no. Okay. So she was writing things in publishing stories in regards to China's China's like army and things like that were happening to get to for sympathizers for that or something. And then found out that she was, you know, deep embedded. with the CPC, okay, or whatever whatever they call themselves. So like she was, you know, embedded. And I haven't seen anything about this woman lately in the media. But, but here's another story about a woman that's here on US soil surveilling for China. Okay. Like that's what is happening. All right now, ladies and gentlemen, I want you to understand something. We only see the tip of the iceberg with these situations. There wasn't just one Jeffrey Epstein. There's a hundred more that haven't been caught. There wasn't just one Jeffrey Dahmer. There's a hundred more that we don't know about that haven't been caught. There wasn't one John Wayne Gacy. There wasn't one of him. There's more out there like him that haven't been caught. Okay. So far we've got two that have been busted working with China, you know, here on US soil. Lately, there's been more in the past, but lately, okay? So what I want you to try to gather in in the the thought I'm trying to provoke in your brain is that this is a much bigger problem than what we know. Not only that, but I'm telling you, and I've been saying it for fucking years, one of my biggest concerns is a war with China. And everybody says doobs are crazy. We'd wipe China off the face of the earth. Would we? Their army, they outnumber us with soldiers. I I mean it's it's just there there's a lot. The closer we fight a war to China's shores, the less likely we would be to win and they know that. So I I don't know. My thoughts are it would be more of I'm not trying to go off on a whole war on China tangent. Let's let's skip that and get back to the article. The FBI said in an X post, she surveilled the Taiwanese president's son and his family, filming their home vehicles and reporting information back to the PRC handlers using the acronym for Chi China's. Okay, we read that. FBI director Cash Patel told Americans, America's adversities to take note. And quotes, America is no longer a safe place to run your espionage operations, he said in a post on X. The FBI is hunting threats to our national security. Wherever they hide in bringing them to justice. Zhang's target was Lai Ting Yu, the son of Taiwanese president Lai Ching Ti, Esselie told Fox News. He also confirmed that the woman is a naturalized US citizen. In his thirties, Lai Ting Yu, an electrical engineer with a doctorate, works for a private company in the United States, according to a report by Taiwan's news media S E N S E. S E T N.com. Okay. Zhang traveled to Seattle in 2025 to do the alleged forward intelligence operations on direct order of Chinese state officials, according to the affidavit. She is listed as a real estate agent with JC Pacific Capital Incorporated, according to Zillow and Holmes.com, with nine years of work experience in Irvine, California. The prosecutors accused Zhang of coordinating coordinating the trip. with an associate and using tradecraft to avoid being detected, they they said she never registered her work in the United States as a foreign agent. Zhang's arraignment in a Los Angeles federal court is scheduled for October 5th, which was yesterday. Zhang and her associate were captured by a home security camera inside a vehicle near Ting Yu Lai's home, appearing to film the victim and his family according to the affidavit. Through a court sanctioned search warrant on March 9, 2026, the FBI obtained records from Zhang and the associated iCloud accounts. These alleged reveal allegedly revealed that she had a direct connection with at least two Chinese officials to whom she sent the collected information. Zhang attended the University of International Relations in Beijing, an entity closely affiliated with China's intelligence agency, the Ministry of State's Security according to the records. Evidence allegedly shows that on or about January 25th, 2025, Zhang met with a Chinese official who had been her classmate at the University of International Relations and with whom Zhang had kept in contact since graduated in about 2014. So as the FBI says this is not a safe. Place to commit espionage and we're going to track you down and blah, blah, blah. They can only get the people they know about. And it depends on what another country wants to do as far as how many people to hire to spy. I mean, what their end all goal is. I mean, there's a lot of factors here. If I was in another country and my goal was to have informants and agents, I wouldn't use one person continuously. You have one job. Get this done. Get me this information. I'll see you later. You burn that person, you never communicate with them again, you move on to another agent, you find someone else. And then you keep going. You get the information you want, you burn that person, you move on. And I'm sure that's probably a lot of their tactic, but if you've got somebody that's really good, you probably keep them on payroll to keep them working, I would think. Anyway, we'll be right back after these messages. Hey listeners, did you know that the Doo Daily Show is now on the Epic Strategies Network? Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Doom Daily Show. Your host, Jester Dooms. Sitting across from me is the lovely, the talented, the ultra-plush producer Scuder. So this next article I find a bit troublesome: the US CDC Monitoring Possible Plague Case in Russia by Zachary Steiber on The Epic Times. I think after experiencing COVID and lockdowns and Price hike changes and everything else, I I am terrified to go through another pandemic in any capacity. I mean, the world as we know it has forever changed. You may think it's gone back to normal, but it has not. Anyway, U.S. officials are tracking a possible plague case in Russia, they confirmed on October 5th. The CDC is monitoring the situation closely with the State Department and and our other interagency partners. Interagency partners. A spokesman for the Department of Health and Human Services, the parent agency of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, told the Epic Times in an email, and quotes the safety and security of US citizens is our highest priority. Russia Consumer Protection Agency, Russia's consumer protection agency, this is a big one, Ross Porte Bandazar reported over the weekend that a worker in Fuck in the Urkutan. Thirst Anti Plague Research Institute of Siberia in the Far East in southeastern Siberia was diagnosed with pneumonia of unknown etiology, according to the Interfax News Agency. The institute established in 1934 to work on plague control has 95 scientific employees, including 13 doctors, according to its website. Its mission includes protecting against epidemics, including epidemics of plague. Testing on the patient showed no microorganisms linked to the person's job, and no infectious diseases were reported among institute employees in the past 10 days. Ross Port Bendozar stated, tested among people who have been in contact showed two COVID-19 cases and two cases of rhinovirus. For this case, the parent agency which is competent in this field is, you know what, I'm not gonna keep trying to say this this word. I'm gonna spell it, y'all could figure it out. R O S P O T R E B N A D Z O R. There's a little button there you can rewind and listen to it again. Ros Porter Bandarza. We're just gonna say that R word, okay? Dimitri Peskoff, a Kremlin spokesperson, told a briefing on october fifth. One. should namely be guided by the official statements of the R-word, not listening to various rumors, speculations on there is the R-word, where high professionals of the field work listen to their official statements. Plague is a disease caused by bacterum bacterium. Plague is a disease caused by a bacterium called Ursina pestis. Is typically spread through bites from infected rodent fleas. Although pneumatic plague can spread from person to person, symptoms include fever, shortness of breath, bloody mucus, and cases can sometimes result in death. All right, so the symptoms one more time fever, shortness of breath, bloody mucus, and sometimes death. Alexi Taisdenbo, an official in a neighboring region, wrote in an October 2nd post on Telegram that the work that the worker died possibly from a Possibly from plague, in quotations, possibly from plague. He cited federal and local officials. Ercothurst Governor Igor Kombezve said in a post on Telegram on the same day that all identified people who have been in contact with the affected person or under medical supervision ⁓ have shown no signs of illness and tested negative for the disease. The Urkurs The Erkursed Aluminum. Plant in Shelkal have mandating masks as a precaution, its director wrote in a post on Telegram over the weekend. U.S. Secretary of State Mark Rubio told reporters in Maryland on October 5th that U.S. officials received information from Russia that indicates that a lab worker was infected. They're concerned that it could have spread at least intern internally, you've seen them do, quarantine, of this. In this nature, he said. There's very limited travel between the US and Russia, obviously, but like anything else, if something like that gets out, it can quickly spread. So we're watching and monitoring it closely. I don't think it's cause for alarm, but it is cause for focus and the cause just to keep an eye on it, and we're doing that. A US State Department spokesperson told the Epic Times in an email that the United States is aware of reports of a fatal case of suspected pneumonia. pneumatic plague in Urquist and is modern in the situation closely with the C D C and other international partners. Okay. Damn. Producer Scooter, let's go to commercial. We'll be right back. Hey, producer Scooter here. And if you've made it this far, I just want to commend you for diligent listening skills. But also, I want you to take a moment, since you've come this far with us, send an email to doomdaily show at gmail.com. Let us know where you're listening from. If you have any ideas for something you'd like Jester to address or talk about, send us an email. That's doomdayshow at gmail.com. Thanks for listening. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Doom Daily Show. I'm your host, Chester Dooms. Make sure to like, share, and subscribe. And ⁓ send Producer Scooter a lovely email, doomdaily show at gmail.com. Tell him how much you love him. Anyway, so this is what I want to stress. I've seen a lot of this in other news media outlets, and it seems like they might be blowing this a little out of proportion, as they should, because they make a lot of money off of fear. So When COVID hit, I was warned by someone who will not be named that this was coming in the fall of twenty nineteen. Late summer, early fall, somewhere in that autumn, autumn, I think, somewhere around there. And ⁓ I was like, Yeah, yeah, whatever, dude. And he's telling me, like, yeah, you need to be concerned, man. It's not a fucking joke. It's gonna fuck things up for a while. And I was like, Okay, sure. Well, sure shit. He was right. And, you know, about six, seven months later, if that. We're in lockdowns. So he was right. I should have listened. ⁓ not that it would have changed much. I just would have bought toilet paper before it was sold out everywhere. That's all. Anyway, the reality with this particular situation is that when you're talking about like a plague situation that is carried not only by humans, but also by rodents and insects, things like that, this is really hard to fucking control. So Hypothetically, let's say your cat gets outside, your cat gets this on him, he brings this in, he gets it all over you, your kids, your family. He's back outside again, gives it to the neighbor's cat, neighbor's cat gives it to the dog, the dog gives it to the family, and next thing you know, the whole neighborhood is sick because one rodent carrying this flea or whatever got to this cat, and it has spread its way through the neighborhood. This isn't as simple as just fucking quarantining people. And when you look back at the Black Plague, that was the same kind of same kind of concept. Like it was quarantining really didn't matter because it wasn't, you know, it wasn't just being spread person to person. So you guys remember when they were saying that your dog could get COVID? And remember them saying the deer had COVID, like all these fucking things. I remember like arguing with people online, like, how the fuck did the deer get COVID? Nobody's getting within six foot of a deer. Well, what about people that have pet deer? Who the fuck do you know has pet deer? I think I'm the only I am the only person I know of my fucking physical self that raised the baby deer in my house. I'm the only one that I've ever fucking met in my entire life that had a deer walking around in their house. I'm sure there's other out there, but there ain't fucking many. But the argument was what if someone's pet deer got out and it had COVID and it gave it to the rest of the deer? I'm like, that's a fucking stretch, man. Like that's a that's you're going out on a limb to convince me that deer have COVID. And that we shouldn't be out hunting right now because the deer have COVID. I'm sorry, what? It's fine. I'll get rid of the COVID deer. I'll cook it out of the meat. We'll be okay. It's gonna be fine. But what I find to like be also interesting about this, it's almost like, all right, so we we know that, you know, the whole world's not on great terms with Russia. And, you know, Trump's been trying to like not escalate things with us in Russia. And, you know, I think a lot of the help to the Ukraine has drastically slowed down. ⁓ even though they still have shit going on over there. But it just makes you wonder if it really makes you wonder if they're not fucking working on something and it got out and things are just being labeled a certain way. Like this current situation with Russia is, you know, this plague, whatever, it is everywhere in the media. If this is the first place you're hearing about this on the Doom Daily show, I mean, so the The thing about this show is, you know, we're typically late to the party with these things. Okay, we're very rarely on the relevancy train. And I'm fine with admitting that. I don't care. I cover the stories I want to talk about. I don't give a fly, I don't give a rat's ass. We're not we're not worried about getting ratings and shit over here on the show. It's not a thing. It's fictitious. Our ratings aren't real. They're not out there. Our ratings are a new Spotify review. That's what those are. ⁓ so anyway, you know, it's just the general idea that it's out there in the media, which, you know, it's either they're fear monguing or they maybe think it's serious. I think this email that came into the Epic Times, and this is why I go back to the Epic Times, the Epic Times really dumbed the situation down. Like, hey, this is what we know. This is what they're saying, you know, blah, blah, blah. My wife said she's heard, because I I told her I was covering this on the show today, she goes, Yeah, I heard hundreds of people have already died. There was no report of that through Epic. So ⁓ I don't know where she's getting her news at, but I don't know. Anyway, wanna thank you all for coming into the show today. Make sure to like, share, and subscribe. We'll be back here tomorrow on Wednesday for another excited episode of the Doom Daily Show. Producer Scooter, if you would hit that button. Jester wants to thank you for listening to the Doom Daily Show. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe. Facts and opinions. This is
