- 0:33Speaker 3: an amazing show, don't we.
- 0:35Speaker 4: Indeed we do.
- 0:37Speaker 5: Indeed we do.
- 0:38Speaker 6: I just stepped on that. I'm so sorry. That was
- 0:41Speaker 6: That was a great, enthusiastic, robust Indeed we do.
- 0:45Speaker 5: This is why we're the B team, you know. We're
- 0:48Speaker 5: working on it.
- 0:49Speaker 3: So we've got more Epstein News, more more of our
- 0:53Speaker 3: you know associates going down today. We've also got US
- 0:57Speaker 3: strangling Cuba, Mexico SENDI Navy ships.
- 1:01Speaker 5: We also have some more Ice.
- 1:03Speaker 3: News with Tom Homan ending the Minneapolis incursion.
- 1:09Speaker 5: What are they calling it? What was it?
- 1:10Speaker 3: The Raider Metro Surge Operation. Metro SERD has completed its
- 1:16Speaker 3: mission and.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Its insurgeons have been victorious.
- 1:19Speaker 6: That's right, Yes, the battle, the battle has been won.
- 1:24Speaker 3: We've got a little maya couple for me on some
- 1:27Speaker 3: James fishback stuff going down in Florida that I'd love
- 1:30Speaker 3: to talk to Emily about. And we also have don't laugh,
- 1:35Speaker 3: And we also have a congressional candidate, Ryan at ten.
- 1:38Speaker 5: Who do we got?
- 1:40Speaker 7: We got Nita Alam who in twenty twenty two I
- 1:44Speaker 7: covered this race. It was her against Valerie Fouchet. Actually
- 1:48Speaker 7: I think it's Fushi. We'll ask, well, ask Nita. And
- 1:52Speaker 7: Apak threw something like seven plus million dollars into this race.
- 1:58Speaker 7: She was a county commissioner, and it seemed like basically
- 2:04Speaker 7: because she was Muslim, there was some criticism of Israel,
- 2:07Speaker 7: but it seemed like pretty heavily coded, like let's make
- 2:10Speaker 7: sure we don't get any more Muslims into the capitol.
- 2:15Speaker 7: And she lost by something like four thousand votes. After that, Fushi,
- 2:19Speaker 7: Valerie Fushi was critical of Israel like gently a couple
- 2:24Speaker 7: of times, and so the district has been redrawn. It's
- 2:27Speaker 7: actually a little bit more favorable to Nita, who was
- 2:30Speaker 7: more progressive. And if the election like unfolded exactly as
- 2:36Speaker 7: it did in twenty twenty two, Alama actually probably wins
- 2:38Speaker 7: this time. But this time it seems like there's no
- 2:42Speaker 7: APAC support coming for Valerie Fushi because of this very
- 2:46Speaker 7: gentle criticism that she had that she had offered. You know,
- 2:50Speaker 7: when the political tide turning started turning very heavily against
- 2:54Speaker 7: Israel for what it was doing in Gaza.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Last night, a.
- 2:59Speaker 7: Superpack came in in support of Nita alam Drop apparently
- 3:04Speaker 7: dropping five hundred thousand dollars worth of ads supporting her.
- 3:09Speaker 7: We don't know who's funding that, alum. You know, probably
- 3:12Speaker 7: doesn't either. If she does, maybe she'll tell us. But
- 3:16Speaker 7: it's an interesting kind of turn of events because now
- 3:21Speaker 7: APAC might end up losing this seat that they spent
- 3:25Speaker 7: you know, seven million dollars four years ago to win.
- 3:28Speaker 3: It's beautiful and when could you what's this gentle criticism, like, well,
- 3:32Speaker 3: could you give me an example like we have seen.
- 3:35Speaker 7: On the show, because I don't know, stop killing children.
- 3:38Speaker 7: You know, it was like a little nudge in the
- 3:41Speaker 7: right direction. Let's we can, I can look it up.
- 3:44Speaker 5: But it was.
- 3:44Speaker 4: It was very mild, but it was.
- 3:46Speaker 8: It was.
- 3:46Speaker 7: It was eyebrow raising enough because I think she might
- 3:50Speaker 7: have even cast like a vote against one of the
- 3:53Speaker 7: resolutions that APAC wanted everybody to support, which I remember
- 3:58Speaker 7: was eyebrow raising because she had taken the apack. You know,
- 4:01Speaker 7: she'd taken all this a PAC money, and then she
- 4:03Speaker 7: took the APAC trip to Israel and then voted on
- 4:06Speaker 7: something that didn't change anything, but you know, didn't vote
- 4:09Speaker 7: with them on something.
- 4:10Speaker 4: It's like, oh, that's this is interesting. What's going on here?
- 4:14Speaker 7: And apparently APAC not a not very forgiving and and
- 4:19Speaker 7: Fushi has said she will quote will not accept a
- 4:22Speaker 7: PAC money in twenty twenty six. So I think so that,
- 4:27Speaker 7: you know, after taking seven million dollars of it at
- 4:30Speaker 7: throw a superpack four years ago, now she's saying she
- 4:32Speaker 7: won't take it and she might lose as a result.
- 4:34Speaker 7: Bring twenty twenty five, she said, y'all know that I
- 4:37Speaker 7: took the money from a pack, but checked to see
- 4:39Speaker 7: how much I've taken since that time, and check my
- 4:42Speaker 7: voting record to see how I have voted and what
- 4:45Speaker 7: I have voted for as it relates to the people
- 4:47Speaker 7: of Gaza, and she this was in response to somebody
- 4:51Speaker 7: saying if she regretted taking all this money from a
- 4:54Speaker 7: pack and taking this a pack trip and so a
- 4:57Speaker 7: pak did not taken kindly to that.
- 5:00Speaker 6: Mmm.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Uh, well, we'll learn more about that from Nita in
- 5:09Speaker 3: just a little bit excited to hear that. But once again,
- 5:12Speaker 3: we've got a little bit more Epstein news coming down
- 5:15Speaker 3: the pike this morning. Uh In, Goldman Sachs's general counsel,
- 5:20Speaker 3: Kathy Rumler, a former top Obama administration lawyer, is out
- 5:25Speaker 3: at Goldman Sachs after email showed a friendship with the
- 5:28Speaker 3: sex offender Jeffrey Epstein spanning many years now, Ryan has
- 5:33Speaker 3: Kath has.
- 5:34Speaker 5: She shown up in your investigations at all? In your
- 5:37Speaker 5: jmail searches, She's.
- 5:39Speaker 6: In like every email. If you search the inbox, it's like, oh,
- 5:42Speaker 6: Rumbler's on this one?
- 5:44Speaker 5: Is she BC Seed? On everything?
- 5:47Speaker 4: She was?
- 5:47Speaker 7: Yeah, she was general counsel for Obama and so she
- 5:52Speaker 7: was and we've reported this. She so she the Arianda
- 5:59Speaker 7: Rothschild was a clan of one of the firms that
- 6:01Speaker 7: she was with. She was on the ross Child account
- 6:06Speaker 7: She then ended up becoming the kind of the middle
- 6:09Speaker 7: attorney between Epstein and and the.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Roths Child account.
- 6:15Speaker 7: What was known as the Epstein was what was known
- 6:17Speaker 7: as the gatekeeper for the ross for the Arianda Rothschild
- 6:20Speaker 7: account and the Edmund of Rosschild Bank. She's the She's
- 6:24Speaker 7: the first roths Child to run the banking operation who
- 6:28Speaker 7: was not born a Rothschild. She's like born in El Salvador.
- 6:31Speaker 7: Is it central? She's from Central America, married into the
- 6:35Speaker 7: family husband I just died and then shews. She became
- 6:40Speaker 7: boss of this and Epstein and her were very close
- 6:43Speaker 7: and so Rumler managed that operation.
- 6:46Speaker 9: Uh.
- 6:46Speaker 7: He also tried to connect her with Gates Bill Gates.
- 6:49Speaker 7: That didn't pan out as a as a client situation,
- 6:52Speaker 7: but Rumbler helped to then negotiate the settlement between the
- 6:58Speaker 7: ross Child Bank and the US over some corruption and
- 7:02Speaker 7: money laundering. Helped he helped negotiate a settlement between the
- 7:06Speaker 7: Rothschild Bank and Israel over tax tax fights because the
- 7:11Speaker 7: Rothschild banking operations like, we don't owe you anything. We
- 7:14Speaker 7: we literally financed the creation of the state of Israel.
- 7:16Speaker 7: You think, how do we owe you anything? Is was
- 7:18Speaker 7: like no you're a nonprofit and you are supposed to
- 7:22Speaker 7: live up to your nonprofit obligations to fund these education
- 7:26Speaker 7: UH programs and other initiatives, and you're just not doing it.
- 7:29Speaker 7: And so Epstein helped negotiate a settlement around around that.
- 7:32Speaker 7: We have a couple other stories coming about other things
- 7:35Speaker 7: that Epstein and Rumbler Rumler did, which I'll hold for
- 7:38Speaker 7: hold for later, but I guess it just became too
- 7:41Speaker 7: much of a distraction at Goldman with all this.
- 7:46Speaker 4: You know, you know, the the tightness of the relationship.
- 7:49Speaker 6: I mean, this is she's this clo She's a chief
- 7:53Speaker 6: legal officer of one of the biggest and most powerful companies,
- 7:56Speaker 6: one of the most world and they stood by her
- 8:00Speaker 6: over and over again. She is constantly copied on emails.
- 8:05Speaker 6: She's in conversations with Steve Bannon, those conversations that Michael
- 8:08Speaker 6: wolf appears to have leaked. It's Steve Bannon, Jeffrey Epstein,
- 8:12Speaker 6: Michael Wolfe, and Kathy Rumler strategizing about public relations. Essentially,
- 8:17Speaker 6: she was a participant in that. We still don't understand
- 8:20Speaker 6: exactly what was happening in those conversations. She in one email,
- 8:25Speaker 6: brags to Epstein about getting a top award from the
- 8:29Speaker 6: CIA by John Brennan, which is very important because Kathy
- 8:33Speaker 6: Rumler was dispatched when she was GC of the Obama
- 8:36Speaker 6: White House to deal with the fallout from the snowed
- 8:39Speaker 6: in weeks, meaning groups like I would say, the Brennan
- 8:42Speaker 6: Center and the ACLU were concerned about the contents and
- 8:47Speaker 6: Rumbler was the one then dealing with it. There are
- 8:51Speaker 6: calendar invites for Kathy comma NSA signal intelligence between Epstein
- 8:57Speaker 6: and Kathy Rumler are mentions.
- 9:02Speaker 7: Which apparently that's related to our story about Yeah, I
- 9:05Speaker 7: think it is biohacking rather than what people think of
- 9:08Speaker 7: signals intelligence as intercepts of signals. He's using it in
- 9:14Speaker 7: a way I don't quite understand, but it's a reference
- 9:17Speaker 7: to bioengineering and biohacking rather than intercepting.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Anyway.
- 9:22Speaker 6: Well, yeah, no, I think that's he's what sounds like
- 9:27Speaker 6: is he's thinking of code breaking. And he would be
- 9:29Speaker 6: asked by one person the genome ya right, yeah, and
- 9:33Speaker 6: someone would say what are you talking about? Hackers are
- 9:35Speaker 6: code breakers? And he would say code breakers. So anyway,
- 9:39Speaker 6: we don't fully understand the complete picture of what Kathy
- 9:44Speaker 6: Rumler was doing. With Jeffrey Epstein. She was getting lavish
- 9:47Speaker 6: gifts from him and referring to him as uncle Jeffrey.
- 9:51Speaker 6: Very disgusting by the way, referring to him as uncle
- 9:54Speaker 6: Jeffrey when he would shower gifts on her. She did
- 9:56Speaker 6: go to the island. He was giving her all kinds
- 9:59Speaker 6: of fancy stuf and keeping her around very clearly. They
- 10:03Speaker 6: talked about her romantic situation together. He said he wanted
- 10:09Speaker 6: to see her DC one day, her version of DC
- 10:12Speaker 6: one day, CIA NSA. So still don't fully understand what
- 10:16Speaker 6: that means. Some people have said it means that Epstein
- 10:19Speaker 6: wasn't CIA, or wasn't NSA, didn't have any connection with
- 10:23Speaker 6: the intelligence agencies. I don't know that you can jump
- 10:27Speaker 6: to that because we don't know what he told Kathy
- 10:29Speaker 6: Rumbler and what kind of game he was playing overall.
- 10:33Speaker 6: But it's Goldman stood by Kathy Rumler for years. This
- 10:37Speaker 6: has been dogging her for years, and the emails made
- 10:40Speaker 6: it untenable because she was clearly, so intimately intimately connected
- 10:45Speaker 6: with Jeffrey I've seen sharing her innermost thoughts and secrets
- 10:48Speaker 6: about her romance life.
- 10:50Speaker 7: She was a.
- 10:51Speaker 6: Participant in these big picture schemes, as dropsite has reported
- 10:55Speaker 6: and as Ryan has been all over, so it would
- 10:58Speaker 6: be absurd to keep kat Rummler on. It was already
- 11:01Speaker 6: absurd enough, but this took down the clo of one
- 11:03Speaker 6: of the most powerful companies in the world.
- 11:06Speaker 7: So I think I think the legal world and SAX
- 11:10Speaker 7: in particular, stuck Buyer partly because everything she knows, but
- 11:13Speaker 7: also lawyers are loath to ever and for good reason,
- 11:21Speaker 7: blame the lawyers for the client's behavior. If you do that,
- 11:25Speaker 7: every every defense attorney is then associated with the depravity
- 11:31Speaker 7: and criminality of whatever defendant, whether they're a murder or
- 11:35Speaker 7: a pedophile or you know, politician, And so they want
- 11:40Speaker 7: to draw a bright line that like look, no, no, no, no,
- 11:42Speaker 7: a lawyer is giving legal advice and is not morally
- 11:46Speaker 7: or ethically culpable for the behavior of the client.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Otherwise, though she.
- 11:51Speaker 5: Was asking for dating advice from Jeffrey Epstein.
- 11:54Speaker 7: And so these emails getting leaked in like with that,
- 11:57Speaker 7: with that boundary being so heavily blurred with some of
- 12:00Speaker 7: those emails, then I think that's why they're finally like, okay,
- 12:06Speaker 7: we we gotta, we gotta throw her overboard.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Why are so many people asking for relationship advice from
- 12:13Speaker 3: like a known predator and like, Oh, that's the guy
- 12:16Speaker 3: who's gonna help me with my date.
- 12:19Speaker 6: It does keep coming up over and over again from
- 12:21Speaker 6: women and.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Men, so very bizarre.
- 12:24Speaker 6: It's all over. I don't know if rain you've seen
- 12:26Speaker 6: a lot of this, but I just like going through
- 12:28Speaker 6: you know, someone that's not newsworthy, but you're looking at
- 12:30Speaker 6: like why is this person pouring out their heart over emails?
- 12:35Speaker 6: Larry Summer's great example.
- 12:37Speaker 3: So she's stepping down to her going back to a
- 12:40Speaker 3: private life, to her whatever five houses or whatever she's got.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Is there any like legal potential here to charge her
- 12:48Speaker 3: with anything or is this kind of like what you're
- 12:50Speaker 3: saying where a she has that sort of loyally defense.
- 12:55Speaker 7: I mean, so so far, like she's just now it
- 13:00Speaker 7: sounds like they had a friendship and in a business relationship,
- 13:06Speaker 7: And if she's not involved with trafficking or aware of it,
- 13:10Speaker 7: there's no reason Like if you're a Jeffrey Epstein, you're
- 13:13Speaker 7: not going to tell your like Goldman Sachs level lawyer
- 13:16Speaker 7: about your trafficking.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Like that's like.
- 13:19Speaker 7: You've got shadier people that you're going to I think
- 13:24Speaker 7: like loop in on that well.
- 13:26Speaker 6: In fact, like what they were working on in those
- 13:29Speaker 6: PR sessions, like these PR bull sessions, was he was
- 13:34Speaker 6: maintaining this was a witch hunt and they were helping him.
- 13:38Speaker 6: So maybe they genuinely believed him, or maybe they just
- 13:40Speaker 6: wanted the money. But that's a question that Steve Bannon
- 13:42Speaker 6: is going to get as well, because he wasn't just
- 13:45Speaker 6: documenting Epstein. He was actively actively participating in a strategy
- 13:50Speaker 6: and this isn't their text as well, and a strategy effort.
- 13:53Speaker 7: Cultural context is useful to remember too. By twenty not eighteen,
- 13:58Speaker 7: twenty nineteen, this is the the height and the crest
- 14:01Speaker 7: and then the downside of me too. People in the
- 14:05Speaker 7: Upper east Side, the powerful people in the Upper east
- 14:08Speaker 7: Side at that point were sick of me too, like
- 14:11Speaker 7: they were like they were done with it because they
- 14:13Speaker 7: saw it as this mob democratic check.
- 14:19Speaker 4: On on their power like that.
- 14:21Speaker 7: The Upper east Side set like they want to call
- 14:25Speaker 7: the shots of who gets to be in and who
- 14:27Speaker 7: gets to be out, not public anger.
- 14:30Speaker 6: Not the shitty medium men list, not that, not.
- 14:33Speaker 7: That medium men list. They don't want anything other than
- 14:36Speaker 7: themselves to dictate who gets to be in the rooms.
- 14:39Speaker 7: And so by this point in time, those elites are
- 14:44Speaker 7: completely fed up with this, uh, with this, with this
- 14:47Speaker 7: moment in time, and so they were I think probably
- 14:50Speaker 7: willing to defend all right, Harvey Weinstein. We threw him overboard.
- 14:56Speaker 7: They were starting to circle the wagons.
- 14:59Speaker 5: I'm sorry, bias ease because.
- 15:01Speaker 7: They because they they they look at that and they're like,
- 15:05Speaker 7: they can see where this goes, Like wait a minute,
- 15:07Speaker 7: public anger at what we're doing. Okay, right now, it's
- 15:12Speaker 7: what we're doing to women, but it could evolve into
- 15:15Speaker 7: what we're doing to workers, you know, what we're what
- 15:18Speaker 7: we're doing to the country, what we're doing to you know, children,
- 15:23Speaker 7: And and the way that there were producing anxiety and
- 15:26Speaker 7: across the board. And if people get anger and that
- 15:29Speaker 7: anger can translate into accountability and consequences, that's that's not
- 15:33Speaker 7: good for us. And so they started to have some
- 15:37Speaker 7: class solidarity, and so I think that their defense of
- 15:41Speaker 7: him has to be understood also in that in that
- 15:44Speaker 7: growing class solidarity, which is like frankly inspiring, Like if
- 15:48Speaker 7: if the workers of the country had the level of
- 15:51Speaker 7: class solidarity that they have, it would be over for them.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Ms lessons to learn for the proletariat. And now speaking
- 15:59Speaker 3: of this elite class solidarity. Jmail has put together this
- 16:04Speaker 3: really handy graphic that I wanted to put up screen
- 16:06Speaker 3: right now.
- 16:07Speaker 5: They worked with the.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Economist to analyze one point four million emails from the
- 16:11Speaker 3: latest Epstein foul drops and this kind of shows the
- 16:13Speaker 3: different sectors that we've seen so far from top five
- 16:18Speaker 3: hundred Epstein correspondence. Now if you're just listening on podcasts,
- 16:21Speaker 3: it's broken out into kind of these squares. We've got,
- 16:25Speaker 3: you know, finance, media, entertainment, tech, law, real estate, business, politics,
- 16:31Speaker 3: academia and of course girlfriends, slash x's and yeah, just
- 16:37Speaker 3: looking at this on a grid is just kind of shocking.
- 16:40Speaker 4: It is.
- 16:40Speaker 7: There's also and this is not shaded Jmail. It's more
- 16:44Speaker 7: the Economist because I love Jmail. We're working with them
- 16:48Speaker 7: on building this product. But good to have some countries
- 16:53Speaker 7: in there too, you know, for sure that might be
- 16:55Speaker 7: a second Grochia Africa not or you break it down
- 17:00Speaker 7: every coast Nigeria, you know, like that would be that
- 17:04Speaker 7: would be interesting just to just to kind of have
- 17:07Speaker 7: a heat map of the globe to show that the
- 17:09Speaker 7: way that power and wealth are flowing around the globe.
- 17:11Speaker 4: But well, maybe I'll talk to them. We'll do that
- 17:14Speaker 4: one next.
- 17:15Speaker 6: That's a good drop site thing. Could you put that
- 17:17Speaker 6: back up on the screen actor screen? Actually, because there's
- 17:19Speaker 6: a really important number while we're talking about Kathy Rummler.
- 17:23Speaker 6: If you if you look at that graphic girlfriend slash
- 17:26Speaker 6: X's one of them has forty one thousand emails. That's crazy.
- 17:30Speaker 6: That looks to me like it's the highest number of
- 17:32Speaker 6: emails on the chart. But Gallaine Maxwell's at ten thousand,
- 17:36Speaker 6: Kathy Rumbler is over eleven thousand, and Kathy Rumler wasn't
- 17:40Speaker 6: even introduced to Epstein until later in this time in
- 17:44Speaker 6: this timeline, so right, like a lot of the Gallain
- 17:47Speaker 6: emails go back to like two thousand and five, but
- 17:49Speaker 6: it seems like they didn't meet until twenty fifteen as
- 17:51Speaker 6: far as we can tell. So the sheer volume of
- 17:54Speaker 6: messages back and forth, I mean, look at Deepak Chropra
- 17:57Speaker 6: fifty three hundred. As you're going through the inbox, you
- 18:00Speaker 6: do see just the patterns of his communication, and I
- 18:06Speaker 6: think it's just that number when you're looking at all
- 18:08Speaker 6: these other important people that he was talking to all
- 18:10Speaker 6: the time, and then you see Rumbler at eleven thousand
- 18:12Speaker 6: emails in a matter of like four years. That should
- 18:16Speaker 6: tell you something about why Goldmantzach suddenly got very nervous.
- 18:19Speaker 6: The only other thing I wanted to add about Rumbler
- 18:21Speaker 6: is that clearly if she's getting behind the scenes Cia
- 18:26Speaker 6: Medal and has implied to him in somewhay or the
- 18:31Speaker 6: other that she's involved with NSSAY. And we know she
- 18:34Speaker 6: was involved with the fallout from the snowed and leaks,
- 18:39Speaker 6: so it makes sense. Also she was White House General counsel,
- 18:43Speaker 6: she might have felt confident about some level of immunity
- 18:48Speaker 6: formal or otherwise.
- 18:50Speaker 7: Yeah, and also yeah, absolutely, and also like if I
- 18:54Speaker 7: were going to be her, like if I were going
- 18:56Speaker 7: to defend her on this, Yes, is like a world
- 19:01Speaker 7: historical villain at this point, as we understand it, at Golds,
- 19:06Speaker 7: at Goldman Sackson, at the top law level, everyone you're
- 19:10Speaker 7: defending is a world historical villain. Like these are all
- 19:15Speaker 7: bad people. So like from herbicyclem She's like, wait a minute,
- 19:19Speaker 7: all of a sudden, like I can't like work with
- 19:21Speaker 7: bad people, Like do you understand the like occupation that
- 19:24Speaker 7: I'm in, Like this is a social scene where you
- 19:28Speaker 7: look around and you've got you know, Henry Kissinger over here,
- 19:32Speaker 7: you got.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Like you.
- 19:35Speaker 7: Yeah, all in the same room, literally, in the same
- 19:37Speaker 7: at the same parties, like these are all of the
- 19:39Speaker 7: villains and oh isn't that isn't that like a current dictator.
- 19:45Speaker 7: Oh that's a former dictator, like he ran death squads
- 19:48Speaker 7: financed by us.
- 19:50Speaker 4: Like so you're supposed to look around this room and
- 19:52Speaker 4: be like, oh, but that.
- 19:53Speaker 7: Guy is off limits, Like they're all rotten, and it's
- 19:58Speaker 7: it's just kind of bad luck that for her that
- 20:01Speaker 7: this is the one that got plucked out and was like, oh, actually,
- 20:04Speaker 7: it turns out you're right at the center of this
- 20:06Speaker 7: sex global sex trafficking scheme.
- 20:08Speaker 9: Uh.
- 20:09Speaker 4: And so.
- 20:10Speaker 6: I suppose it's also possible she was a handler or something.
- 20:15Speaker 6: I don't know. It's it's hard to hard to figure
- 20:17Speaker 6: any of that out.
- 20:19Speaker 5: I like Ryan's defense. Ryan, you have a future at Goldman, so.
- 20:24Speaker 3: There's a there's a big opening, so you're his days
- 20:28Speaker 3: are numbered for the Friday shows. But we have more
- 20:31Speaker 3: from Rocanna. This came from Rocanna yesterday. This is a
- 20:36Speaker 3: new email that was redacted. Rocanna says, I saw this
- 20:39Speaker 3: email at d OJ today. This is a political figure
- 20:41Speaker 3: who shouldn't have been redacted. It's a direct violation of Rep.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Thomas Massey and my Epstein file is Transparency Act. And
- 20:47Speaker 3: I'll read a little bit of the email. Very this
- 20:51Speaker 3: is a very interesting So this is to Jeffrey Epstein.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Uh subject, I beat Bush? Hi, Jeffrey, I got more
- 20:58Speaker 3: votes than Jeb Bush in Iowa and I only had
- 21:01Speaker 3: one congressional district.
- 21:03Speaker 5: He had four. It's so funny to me, totally embarrassing
- 21:07Speaker 5: to him. Still like Trump and might be a delegate
- 21:11Speaker 5: to the Republican Convention. Was in Saint Thomas for a
- 21:13Speaker 5: couple of days. Did call this island but never heard back.
- 21:17Speaker 5: When scuba diving off Saint jeff and it was beautiful.
- 21:20Speaker 5: Would be totally funny to me, at least if you
- 21:22Speaker 5: put a big fake shark or statue under the water
- 21:26Speaker 5: where the divers go, love youa redacted loveya.
- 21:32Speaker 7: So the Internet's assessment is that this is Marco Ruby,
- 21:38Speaker 7: and I'm just joking that it's gwendolen Beck, twenty fourteen
- 21:42Speaker 7: congressional candidate. And Todd blanche is saying that they that
- 21:49Speaker 7: Rocan is wrong and that the person counts as a victim.
- 21:52Speaker 7: But this gets into a very dicey territory because you
- 21:56Speaker 7: know that they've tried to call you know, no, they
- 22:00Speaker 7: called Scaramuccia victim, like they redacted Scaramucci's Like what what
- 22:04Speaker 7: was tell us about the much's victimization?
- 22:06Speaker 4: Like what's going on?
- 22:07Speaker 5: Fraud?
- 22:08Speaker 6: Is that their argument? Fraud?
- 22:09Speaker 5: Don So.
- 22:12Speaker 7: What was what was Beck involved with? Like that's that
- 22:16Speaker 7: we want to like, how is she a victim? Like
- 22:19Speaker 7: there's no evidence that she is a victim here? So
- 22:22Speaker 7: why are you redacting your name? You can't can't just
- 22:25Speaker 7: redact every woman's name?
- 22:27Speaker 4: Who's in here?
- 22:28Speaker 6: Tell us?
- 22:30Speaker 4: What's that?
- 22:30Speaker 6: Tell us who she is?
- 22:32Speaker 4: Why we're a this?
- 22:35Speaker 7: She ran for Congress and she's close with Epstein clearly,
- 22:41Speaker 7: so what like what what was her role?
- 22:44Speaker 4: Like, what's going on here?
- 22:45Speaker 6: Just a Republican because this was it was sent the
- 22:47Speaker 6: day after the Iowa Yes.
- 22:50Speaker 5: Seen February twenty sixteen.
- 22:53Speaker 9: Yeah, okay, so she was a she was a Gwendolen
- 23:05Speaker 9: Beck uh independent, she was an independent.
- 23:12Speaker 5: Hitting all quadrants here.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Well, you know she got there and twenty votes as
- 23:17Speaker 4: an independent.
- 23:19Speaker 6: Very incredible to be Jeb. That's a huge accomplishment. I
- 23:22Speaker 6: too would be bragging to all my billionaire friends and.
- 23:24Speaker 4: She only ran yeah, right in Virginia's eighth district.
- 23:28Speaker 6: It was for a second, it did, before all of
- 23:30Speaker 6: this came to light. It was like, okay, so try
- 23:32Speaker 6: to figure out I was asking ai, which Republican candidate
- 23:35Speaker 6: in twenty sixteen has posted about scuba diving before. Obviously
- 23:40Speaker 6: it wasn't Chris Christie. It wasn't. It didn't seem to
- 23:44Speaker 6: me like it would be Ted Cruz. So it was
- 23:47Speaker 6: a little bit of a mystery. It felt like Agatha
- 23:49Speaker 6: Christie for a while.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, who left the scuba gear at the Epstein Island?
- 23:56Speaker 6: So uh Epstein clue, oh.
- 24:00Speaker 5: Yeah and Epstein, yeah that one.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Unfortunately, now, Emily, you mentioned Steve Bannon earlier, and a
- 24:05Speaker 3: new Steve Bannon thing came across my desk, and I
- 24:08Speaker 3: don't know if you've seen this one, but I wanted
- 24:10Speaker 3: you to react to it. Here this person says that
- 24:13Speaker 3: Steve Bannon's war room was Jeffrey Epstein's idea so that
- 24:17Speaker 3: Steve could avoid registering under FARA, a Bannon friend of
- 24:21Speaker 3: the pod. So here in this it says Steve Bannon
- 24:26Speaker 3: says excellent. Then there's redacted name says Yorgy Schwartz real
- 24:31Speaker 3: name of George Soros was careful not to register under
- 24:34Speaker 3: FARA NGOs were carefully structured. My reading is that you
- 24:38Speaker 3: can form a media company and make the umbrella exemption.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Steve Bannon says on it, then redacted says the media
- 24:46Speaker 3: co has lots of advantages, source privilege, etc.
- 24:50Speaker 5: So, Emily, what do you make of this?
- 24:52Speaker 6: Well, first of all, this was like one of the
- 24:55Speaker 6: only times I've looked at an Epstein piece of advice
- 24:58Speaker 6: and been like, well, I guess people, we're actually getting
- 25:01Speaker 6: decent guidance from him, because that's quite a loophole that
- 25:04Speaker 6: Epstein was steering step Bann into it. Now, I don't
- 25:06Speaker 6: think that necessarily means war Room itself is a creation.
- 25:11Speaker 6: My understanding of Steve Bannon is that he's had a
- 25:14Speaker 6: lot of companies over the years and is one of
- 25:17Speaker 6: those people that manages different things.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:21Speaker 6: Yeah, although he didn't create Brightbarton, it wasn't like his
- 25:23Speaker 6: own thing, but yeah, he had I think he had
- 25:26Speaker 6: a film company called like Victory Films, and he's had well,
- 25:31Speaker 6: I don't know if he created a separate entity where
- 25:34Speaker 6: he was getting, for example, money from his sources in
- 25:39Speaker 6: the kind of populist right in Europe. And I don't
- 25:43Speaker 6: know the date on this. I meant to look it
- 25:44Speaker 6: up last night. But maybe he was. He was getting money,
- 25:47Speaker 6: and then maybe that's a pastor entity to war war Room,
- 25:51Speaker 6: or maybe it's just a separate entity where he's taking
- 25:52Speaker 6: money from these people and then it goes into war Room,
- 25:56Speaker 6: and maybe potentially maybe he never created this media company
- 26:00Speaker 6: that Jeffrey Epstein was referring to, and war Room is
- 26:03Speaker 6: like some I don't know how it's formally incorporated. It
- 26:07Speaker 6: could be different. But Bannon is Boy, does this man
- 26:13Speaker 6: have a lot to answer for, because these messages are
- 26:18Speaker 6: strategies to help Epstein, to coordinate with Epstein, to have
- 26:23Speaker 6: Epstein help him to infiltrate the Trump circle. There's a
- 26:28Speaker 6: point where they're going back and forth over whether Bannon
- 26:30Speaker 6: should try to bring Jared Kushner into the kind of
- 26:33Speaker 6: populist world. And Bannon and Kushner have always been at
- 26:37Speaker 6: each other's throats, so Epstein is like encouraging him to
- 26:41Speaker 6: get in with Kushner, which is interesting for UAE purposes.
- 26:45Speaker 6: So this is just it. It's there are a million
- 26:49Speaker 6: pieces of this puzzle. I actually don't even know how
- 26:53Speaker 6: many pieces there are to this puzzle. I just know
- 26:55Speaker 6: that there's a million of them on the ground, and
- 26:58Speaker 6: none of them look particularly good for State Bannon.
- 27:01Speaker 7: Yeah, and it seems like Bannon is using Epstein to
- 27:04Speaker 7: try to get leverage over Trump, like he feels burned,
- 27:09Speaker 7: you know, the Trump world better, but feels burned by
- 27:11Speaker 7: getting pushed out of the White House.
- 27:14Speaker 4: He wants to kind of be.
- 27:16Speaker 7: The guy who is the you know, colonel of the
- 27:21Speaker 7: Maga army on the on the outside, and he's there's
- 27:28Speaker 7: some one very revealing message where Bannon says something like Trump,
- 27:31Speaker 7: you know, keeps Trump up at night, knowing, knowing that
- 27:35Speaker 7: we're so close to each other, which is not true
- 27:38Speaker 7: because Trump doesn't sleep, so nothing keeps him up at nights.
- 27:41Speaker 4: Just up.
- 27:43Speaker 6: He's just TV keeps him up at night, up at night.
- 27:49Speaker 4: Keeps him up.
- 27:50Speaker 7: But clearly what he like, he's getting inside and information
- 27:54Speaker 7: about Trump that that he feels like he can use
- 27:57Speaker 7: his leverage against Trump at that point to like lidify
- 28:00Speaker 7: his position in the Maga world. The fact that he's
- 28:03Speaker 7: maintained a position in the Maga world despite that knowledge
- 28:07Speaker 7: being out there is kind of wild. Like you would
- 28:10Speaker 7: think you get caught doing that, A proper mob boss
- 28:14Speaker 7: is like, Bannon, how could you do this to me?
- 28:18Speaker 7: Like you're you're gone, but no, like, which I think
- 28:21Speaker 7: speaks to his significant grassroots support that remains. He is,
- 28:27Speaker 7: like he has an independent power base at this point.
- 28:30Speaker 6: He is somebody who Ryan you probably listen to more
- 28:34Speaker 6: warroom than I do. When he's somebody who, over the
- 28:36Speaker 6: years will if there's an issue up in the air
- 28:40Speaker 6: and people like I don't know which way MAGA is
- 28:42Speaker 6: going to come down on this, Steve Bannon has the
- 28:45Speaker 6: pulse of the sort of people who are going to
- 28:47Speaker 6: go to Trump rallies, or maybe people don't even have
- 28:51Speaker 6: enough money to go to Trump rallies. Like the hardcore
- 28:55Speaker 6: grassroots populist MAGA. Steve Bannon just instinctively under stands and
- 29:01Speaker 6: to some extent, I think he understands it better than
- 29:03Speaker 6: almost anyone, with the exception of Donald Trump, who has
- 29:07Speaker 6: other concerns. You know, he knows he can shoot someone
- 29:09Speaker 6: on Fifth Avenue and the BASI is going to so
- 29:10Speaker 6: like when it comes down to economic populism, nat sek,
- 29:14Speaker 6: foreign policy, all of that. Steve Bannon, because he is
- 29:17Speaker 6: from Bright bar tea party world, and he's like an
- 29:22Speaker 6: ideological he's ideologically aligned with that world. He's able to
- 29:28Speaker 6: be the real like Mago Whisperer. And so what it
- 29:31Speaker 6: looks like he was trying to do is use other
- 29:34Speaker 6: very powerful wealthy people to consolidate the power of the grassroots,
- 29:41Speaker 6: to be as powerful as like to be a Maga
- 29:44Speaker 6: general in a way where he could direct behind the
- 29:47Speaker 6: scenes no matter what Trump was doing.
- 29:49Speaker 7: And speaking of the financial precarity of his audience, have
- 29:52Speaker 7: you noticed what kind of ads the band show plays.
- 29:56Speaker 4: On the war room?
- 29:57Speaker 7: Mostly no gold credit, plenty of gold credit card, debt consolidation.
- 30:04Speaker 4: Yeah, you have tax bills that are way overdue.
- 30:08Speaker 7: You need to fight the I R S. Sulfuric acid
- 30:12Speaker 7: and then of course get Her, which I think to
- 30:14Speaker 7: this day is still advertising that you can get Charlie
- 30:17Speaker 7: Kirk's thoughts if you download the Getter apps.
- 30:21Speaker 4: Put a new ad in there.
- 30:21Speaker 6: Guys, just record another one.
- 30:24Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I.
- 30:26Speaker 6: Think you're talking about silver solution Griffin, not sulfurc acid.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Well, what did they shift to the island. What do
- 30:33Speaker 3: they burned the bodies furic acid?
- 30:35Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 30:35Speaker 6: Oh they did. Oh, I thought you were talking about
- 30:37Speaker 6: like cringe ad on.
- 30:40Speaker 3: I was talking about the gallons they sent, uh you
- 30:43Speaker 3: know what they what they put in the tub, and
- 30:44Speaker 3: like breaking bad to burn the body.
- 30:46Speaker 6: There you go, there you go.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Well, I just want to say I wanted to move
- 30:51Speaker 3: on to Cuba next, but I did just want to say,
- 30:52Speaker 3: we're going to keep uncovering all the intricate details of
- 30:55Speaker 3: this and this weekend I really came to appreciate, uh,
- 30:59Speaker 3: the work that it happens on this show and from
- 31:02Speaker 3: drop Site, because we were at a media event over
- 31:05Speaker 3: the weekend with people that kind of imbibe a little
- 31:09Speaker 3: bit more of the mainstream coverage of the Epstein. And
- 31:12Speaker 3: when I talked to people at our at our media
- 31:15Speaker 3: table that Epstein potentially was associated with Massad and former
- 31:19Speaker 3: PM who Barack, people looked at me like I was
- 31:22Speaker 3: fucking insane, which goes to show you there's really two
- 31:26Speaker 3: there's kind of two narratives kind of happening. One that's
- 31:30Speaker 3: very surface level in the mainstream media, and one where
- 31:34Speaker 3: you're going to get a lot more of the details
- 31:37Speaker 3: and paint a much broader and filled in picture at
- 31:40Speaker 3: places like Dropsite and what we try to do here.
- 31:43Speaker 3: So I was proud of the show, and very embarrassed
- 31:46Speaker 3: at dinner because people thought I was crazy.
- 31:49Speaker 7: I was trying to think this morning, like if if
- 31:51Speaker 7: we weren't doing the work that we're doing, like what
- 31:53Speaker 7: the media landscape would look like when it would when
- 31:56Speaker 7: it came to the coverage of Jeffrey Epstein. Not that
- 31:59Speaker 7: we are remotely the first one to go down this path,
- 32:02Speaker 7: like Whitney Webb has done terrific work on this for
- 32:07Speaker 7: many years at this point, and plenty of you know,
- 32:09Speaker 7: plenty of others in the like independent space have done it,
- 32:11Speaker 7: but among those who are kind of read in the
- 32:14Speaker 7: and viewed and with a mass audience. Because if you
- 32:18Speaker 7: wanted to tell your aunt or your uncle, no, no, seriously,
- 32:22Speaker 7: there's something to this, go read this ex news article
- 32:25Speaker 7: or go watch this video that lays it out without
- 32:30Speaker 7: breaking points of drops. I'd be like, what exactly would
- 32:33Speaker 7: you send them that they would be able to read
- 32:35Speaker 7: and be like, oh, okay, this is credible and I
- 32:37Speaker 7: understand this. Twitter threads, Yeah, you know, nobody wants Twitter
- 32:41Speaker 7: threads like, especially Twitter, like the way that they're putting
- 32:45Speaker 7: this stuff out. Yeah, it's not good, and people screenshot
- 32:48Speaker 7: it and that then it's disaggregated from the source, and
- 32:52Speaker 7: then people make fake ones and like, and now DJ
- 32:57Speaker 7: has taken down like most stuff, Like they've taken down
- 32:59Speaker 7: a ton of zip files just in the last like
- 33:01Speaker 7: twenty four hours. So right now you basically have to
- 33:04Speaker 7: go to either jmail or Distributed den Aisle of Secrets
- 33:10Speaker 7: to see to get like the actual files, Like you
- 33:15Speaker 7: can't even go to doj for a lot of it
- 33:16Speaker 7: anymore to prove that it's real.
- 33:18Speaker 3: So mess and just like offering any of the details
- 33:24Speaker 3: from these shows at your at your dinner table, at
- 33:28Speaker 3: your social function, they're almost designed to make you sound
- 33:31Speaker 3: like a nut, right, yeah, like the way that if
- 33:34Speaker 3: you were to talk about these details, so you know,
- 33:37Speaker 3: to the audience, we've been considering doing a long form
- 33:41Speaker 3: like three four hour entire you know, encapsulation of everything
- 33:46Speaker 3: we've learned about the Epstein thing, and maybe that can
- 33:49Speaker 3: be a resource for you to share it to your
- 33:51Speaker 3: friends and family so you can look a little less
- 33:53Speaker 3: like a kook. So if you think that's a good idea,
- 33:55Speaker 3: let us know in the comments, And we're heavily considering that.
- 34:00Speaker 3: But that will bring us to our next topic, Ryan,
- 34:03Speaker 3: which is Cuba.
- 34:05Speaker 5: What's going on with Cuba right now?
- 34:07Speaker 3: We're strangling the island and it seems like the administration
- 34:11Speaker 3: is kind of panicking a little bit. I wanted to
- 34:13Speaker 3: put this up on screen. Several sources tell the Economists
- 34:16Speaker 3: the United States is considering sending small quantities of fuel
- 34:19Speaker 3: to the island, gas for cooking and diesel to keep
- 34:21Speaker 3: water infrastructure running. Rubio could easily end up as the
- 34:25Speaker 3: public face of an induced humanitarian crisis.
- 34:30Speaker 7: It's really eerie how quickly and seamlessly the US moved
- 34:38Speaker 7: Gaza policy over to Cuba. Like, in fact, they are
- 34:44Speaker 7: still withholding the humanitarian aid life essentials from Gaza. Like
- 34:49Speaker 7: they're supposed to be letting in six hundred trucks a
- 34:51Speaker 7: day into Gaza as part of this quote unquote ceasefire,
- 34:54Speaker 7: and they're also supposed to stop killing Palestinians. They've done
- 34:57Speaker 7: neither of those things. They're still restricting aid. They won't
- 35:00Speaker 7: even let like new tents in, Like the people living
- 35:03Speaker 7: in tents that are now like two years old and
- 35:05Speaker 7: completely destroyed from from the weather. The conditions are absolutely unspeakable.
- 35:09Speaker 7: There's like a there's a there's like this fierce like
- 35:12Speaker 7: respiratory illness that is like rocking through the Godza strip
- 35:16Speaker 7: at this point, and they haven't even ended that before.
- 35:20Speaker 7: They now replicate a version of it over in Cuba
- 35:24Speaker 7: and cut off everything and then become the the power center.
- 35:31Speaker 7: That's going to like, that's going to loosen the chokehold
- 35:34Speaker 7: a little bit. So like first first you choke them
- 35:38Speaker 7: completely to the brink of death, some people to death.
- 35:42Speaker 7: If you look at uh, child cancer cancer fatality rates
- 35:47Speaker 7: in Cuba, because we're not allowing in the equipment and
- 35:52Speaker 7: the supplies that you need to treat cancer, children are
- 35:56Speaker 7: dying of cancer at a much higher rate than they
- 35:59Speaker 7: were pretty so we're already killing people in the most
- 36:02Speaker 7: torturous kind of gruesome way. But now what they're suggesting
- 36:06Speaker 7: is uh oh, because somebody just posted an aerial photo
- 36:10Speaker 7: the island's like almost completely black. They're like, oh, we
- 36:14Speaker 7: are going to induce like a humanitarian crisis for these
- 36:17Speaker 7: nine million people that used to be like twelve or
- 36:19Speaker 7: so before Biden and Trump smashed the population down to nine.
- 36:25Speaker 7: That is going to be horrific. And we and like
- 36:28Speaker 7: with the healthy.
- 36:29Speaker 6: Assist from the Cuban government that was beating something.
- 36:32Speaker 7: And it's like, okay, Israel was like October seventh, October seventh,
- 36:35Speaker 7: October seventh, what did Cuba do? What on earth are
- 36:39Speaker 7: you doing to Cuba for why? Like did Cuba do?
- 36:42Speaker 7: Like nineteen fifty nine, like really like and it's also
- 36:47Speaker 7: so crazy to be like to just have finished and
- 36:51Speaker 7: we're not even finished. But over in Israel, it's like
- 36:54Speaker 7: nineteen forty eight. They talk about it a lot, and
- 36:57Speaker 7: the Israelis will say it's over, forget about it.
- 36:59Speaker 4: Nine forty it happened.
- 37:00Speaker 7: There's no right of return, like we're a state, now,
- 37:03Speaker 7: get over it, Like we're now the state of Israel.
- 37:06Speaker 7: We have a right to defend ourselves. We have a
- 37:08Speaker 7: right to exist. Anybody who is bringing up nineteen forty
- 37:11Speaker 7: eight is insane now over here like no, nineteen fifty nine,
- 37:16Speaker 7: eleven years later, that somehow is a reason to starve
- 37:20Speaker 7: millions of people in twenty twenty six, like can we
- 37:25Speaker 7: even can we get an ounce of consistency in our
- 37:28Speaker 7: in our like barbaric behavior toward toward people apparently not so?
- 37:34Speaker 3: Uh.
- 37:36Speaker 7: Putting the US in the position of loosening the chokehold
- 37:39Speaker 7: then gives them this power over life and death in Cuba,
- 37:43Speaker 7: and the idea is, and you had my camera as
- 37:45Speaker 7: a diplomat in Cuba going around like door to door
- 37:48Speaker 7: handing out supplies. So like you starve everybody and you
- 37:52Speaker 7: hand out a little bit of stuff that gives you
- 37:53Speaker 7: control over their lives.
- 37:55Speaker 4: And then the idea is then you can then replace.
- 37:59Speaker 7: You become government effectively, like if you're the one that's
- 38:02Speaker 7: keeping people alive, you are the government. So it's like
- 38:04Speaker 7: a it's like a regime replacement, subtle regime replacement without
- 38:10Speaker 7: doing the just don't let them, don't even worry about
- 38:13Speaker 7: them collapsing, like, just completely starve them, and then what
- 38:16Speaker 7: are they at that point?
- 38:18Speaker 3: And Emily, what's the conservative perspective on this? You know,
- 38:23Speaker 3: is is there like a threat from the Cuban government?
- 38:26Speaker 3: I mean, this is ninety miles off the shore of America. Like,
- 38:30Speaker 3: what is the conservative perspective on the need to do
- 38:36Speaker 3: regime change in Cuba?
- 38:37Speaker 6: Well, I mean, I don't agree with the policy prescription,
- 38:41Speaker 6: but one of the places where Ryan and I probably
- 38:43Speaker 6: disagree is that the Cold War rationale for taking Cuba
- 38:51Speaker 6: extremely seriously as a threat is that it's obviously right
- 38:56Speaker 6: for the picking of a hostile foreign actor to you know,
- 39:01Speaker 6: launch surveillance operations, potentially nuclear weapons and other types of
- 39:08Speaker 6: weapons like missiles, all those types of things when you're
- 39:11Speaker 6: so close to the United States and there have been
- 39:15Speaker 6: incursions or there have been efforts from places like China,
- 39:20Speaker 6: obviously still Russia, maybe a little Iran. But who knows
- 39:24Speaker 6: what to believe because all of this is from, you know, propaganda.
- 39:27Speaker 6: You don't totally know what's propaganda and what's not. But
- 39:30Speaker 6: the potential for it to be co opted by a
- 39:33Speaker 6: hostile foreign actor is there. And obviously the Cuban government
- 39:36Speaker 6: works heavily with other countries that haven't been friendly with
- 39:40Speaker 6: the United States for various reasons. I'm not saying it's
- 39:42Speaker 6: all just because they're you know, they're they're inherently bad
- 39:45Speaker 6: people and we we're just perfectly innocent. But Cuba has
- 39:50Speaker 6: a government. I think it's a little bit on like
- 39:51Speaker 6: Gaza in that respect that like they do have a government,
- 39:55Speaker 6: they have government infrastructure. Yes, it's true the blocka it
- 40:00Speaker 6: has been very problematic for them, but I think it's
- 40:03Speaker 6: also that they bear some of the blame. That said, Conservatives,
- 40:08Speaker 6: in my mind, are wrong to continue this policy of
- 40:13Speaker 6: just blockading starving, trying to do what Kissinger said to
- 40:19Speaker 6: Nixon about Allende and what nineteen seventy three make the
- 40:22Speaker 6: economy screen, and then you'll be able to do your
- 40:25Speaker 6: regime change. Has not worked in Cuba for decades, is
- 40:29Speaker 6: not currently working in Iran either. I mean, we'll see
- 40:31Speaker 6: what happens. But to keep recycling that playbook when you have,
- 40:35Speaker 6: especially a country like Cuba that is right off of
- 40:38Speaker 6: your coast and that you now have a significant amount
- 40:42Speaker 6: of leverage over and could genuinely try to thaw the
- 40:47Speaker 6: relationship with in a way that is better for everyone,
- 40:50Speaker 6: is better for the Malnur's children, who if you don't
- 40:54Speaker 6: want kids like let's just say you're the most conservative
- 40:56Speaker 6: person in the world, and you don't want kids starving
- 40:58Speaker 6: under socialism, that's what you see happening in Cuban. You
- 41:00Speaker 6: don't want that to happen anymore. There's actually a better way.
- 41:03Speaker 6: There's actually a better way. There's actually a better way.
- 41:09Speaker 6: The United States has relationships with all kinds of different
- 41:11Speaker 6: countries that have all kinds of different governments, And if
- 41:15Speaker 6: you want to stop suffering in Cuba, you at some
- 41:19Speaker 6: point probably can do that. And now is a great
- 41:23Speaker 6: time actually to do that because of the amount of
- 41:25Speaker 6: leverage that exists. So to just act like this is
- 41:29Speaker 6: a stand against socialism is obviously absurd. And right now
- 41:35Speaker 6: there's a pathway to ending suffering or alleviating suffering that's
- 41:39Speaker 6: better for both the United States and for the people
- 41:41Speaker 6: of Cuba. I know a lot of conservatives disagree with that.
- 41:43Speaker 6: But if if Venezuela is any example, if you want
- 41:47Speaker 6: to take the Trump playbook and you want to recycle that,
- 41:52Speaker 6: there might be some way whatever it looks like if
- 41:55Speaker 6: you're conservative. So that's something they think about.
- 41:58Speaker 7: Yeah, the Cubans have said they'll what do you want
- 42:00Speaker 7: to negotiate, democracy, human rights, direct foreign investment, tourism, like
- 42:07Speaker 7: what like we're put it on the table, let's talk.
- 42:10Speaker 7: It is very true what Emily said that the conservative
- 42:13Speaker 7: argument is that Cuba is some sort of a threat.
- 42:15Speaker 7: I feel like that's rooted in this like nineteen sixties
- 42:18Speaker 7: seventies understanding of Cuba. If you look if you look
- 42:21Speaker 7: at say drug in addiction and migration, like the country
- 42:24Speaker 7: that is the most helpful to the United States than
- 42:27Speaker 7: any other country in the hemisphere is Cuba when it
- 42:30Speaker 7: particularly when it comes to drug in addiction, like now
- 42:32Speaker 7: it's cut off right now because the US is trying
- 42:35Speaker 7: to destroy them. But they have said any any moment
- 42:39Speaker 7: that you want to get back to doing drug in
- 42:41Speaker 7: addiction in normal way, like where we go up to
- 42:44Speaker 7: the boat and like search it and then if it's
- 42:47Speaker 7: not carrying drugs, we let it go rather than execute
- 42:51Speaker 7: them from the sky.
- 42:52Speaker 4: We're happy, We're happy to do it.
- 42:53Speaker 7: They're like, we don't believe in executing people from the
- 42:55Speaker 7: sky on a suspicion. But there's like, any moment you
- 42:58Speaker 7: want to go back to this drug in a and
- 43:01Speaker 7: you know, Cuba's well positioned to do this counter narcotics
- 43:04Speaker 7: work that they've been doing with the US for many years.
- 43:07Speaker 4: I think people don't really understand.
- 43:08Speaker 7: That that's but that's like the US government will say
- 43:13Speaker 7: that out loud, like that nobody has been a better
- 43:15Speaker 7: partner on countering drug trafficking than Cuba. So but then
- 43:20Speaker 7: you get this nineteen seventies sixties era Cuban misuspisis thing.
- 43:24Speaker 4: It's like, wow, we have to nuke them.
- 43:26Speaker 6: Well, I was going to ask, actually, like if there's
- 43:28Speaker 6: anybody so if people are wondering why this seems so
- 43:31Speaker 6: mad It's similarly with Venezuela. It's that you have people
- 43:36Speaker 6: who have poured decades of their life since the Cold
- 43:39Speaker 6: War into these movements and are sort of stuck. They
- 43:42Speaker 6: would just be ad money like yeah, exactly, yeah.
- 43:46Speaker 7: The year of building an industry toward this, and you
- 43:50Speaker 7: get shouldn't be surprised, Yeah, you.
- 43:51Speaker 6: Get stuck in this loop, which is that you have
- 43:54Speaker 6: dedicated so much to the ideological goal of total incomplete
- 43:58Speaker 6: regime change that, like the Bay of Pigs, at some
- 44:01Speaker 6: point there are enough Cubans to rise up and obviously
- 44:04Speaker 6: didn't work done, but there are enough Cubans will rise
- 44:06Speaker 6: up top of the regime and bring back the next
- 44:09Speaker 6: Batista and everything will be great and happy. But if
- 44:14Speaker 6: ever there was somebody who could break that pattern and
- 44:17Speaker 6: shock people out of the loop, it's Trump. I mean,
- 44:19Speaker 6: look at what they did in Venezuela. It's a little
- 44:21Speaker 6: baby step in a better direction by well, I don't
- 44:23Speaker 6: know if it'll be better or not, but by keeping
- 44:26Speaker 6: Delcia Rodriguez like a direction that was not what the
- 44:29Speaker 6: hardcore Hawks wanted to have happened. So anyone could like
- 44:33Speaker 6: shake people out of this loop where Cuba is still
- 44:37Speaker 6: nineteen sixty. I think on principle, it's still very important
- 44:40Speaker 6: that you don't have China getting a foothold in Cuba.
- 44:43Speaker 6: That's obviously true. But if anyone could shake people out
- 44:46Speaker 6: of the idea that squeezing their economy and their people
- 44:49Speaker 6: is the way to prevent China from getting a foothold
- 44:51Speaker 6: in Cuba, it would be Donald Trump. So the time
- 44:54Speaker 6: is ripe.
- 44:55Speaker 3: And what is Rubio's end goal here?
- 44:58Speaker 5: Now?
- 44:58Speaker 3: The article seems to state that Rubio is getting nervous
- 45:01Speaker 3: that he's going to be the face of a humanitarian crisis,
- 45:04Speaker 3: but this does seem to be exactly what he's wanted
- 45:07Speaker 3: for a really long time. And maybe you disagree, but
- 45:11Speaker 3: is the is the end stage goal here to strangle
- 45:14Speaker 3: the island until it becomes like a US colony or.
- 45:18Speaker 5: What is like the file goal here?
- 45:20Speaker 7: Yeah, he said a couple of weeks ago, we want
- 45:22Speaker 7: to see the regime fall because like that's not exactly
- 45:25Speaker 7: our what we're doing, but like we would love to
- 45:28Speaker 7: see that. He would love to see that, and he'd
- 45:30Speaker 7: love to see it replaced by some Boo Kelly like
- 45:34Speaker 7: right wing figure.
- 45:36Speaker 3: Right and now they're just like just like Gaza history
- 45:40Speaker 3: repeating itself. There is a flotilla being planned to break
- 45:47Speaker 3: the siege, much like there was a flotilla going to Gaza. Now,
- 45:51Speaker 3: what are the chances that this flotilla will have a
- 45:54Speaker 3: better chance at actually getting to Cuba or will it
- 45:58Speaker 3: just be like the idea where where America swoops in
- 46:01Speaker 3: and stops them in the ocean, Like what.
- 46:03Speaker 5: Is the what does that look like?
- 46:05Speaker 7: The problem is that like Gaza needed the things that
- 46:08Speaker 7: the flotilla was bringing, Now they need a lot more
- 46:11Speaker 7: than the flotilla was bringing, but that was real the
- 46:13Speaker 7: kinds of things they needed. What Cuba needs is fuel
- 46:16Speaker 7: and so unless the flotillas can bring oil tankers, it's good.
- 46:25Speaker 7: And it's nice to bring lentils and and beans and
- 46:28Speaker 7: you know.
- 46:30Speaker 4: With yeah, it's yeah.
- 46:32Speaker 7: It's an island, like you're gonna like people are cooking
- 46:35Speaker 7: with wood, Like you're going to completely DeForest that island
- 46:40Speaker 7: in a short amount of time, and deforestation is insanely
- 46:44Speaker 7: difficult to overcome, and then you start getting mud slides
- 46:47Speaker 7: and like like if you look at Haiti from the air,
- 46:52Speaker 7: you know it's completely deforested on the Haitian side because
- 46:56Speaker 7: of this, and it's and you look at the other side.
- 46:59Speaker 7: You know, it's green, so good, you know it's good
- 47:04Speaker 7: to raise awareness and like put political pressure, but they
- 47:07Speaker 7: need fuel, all.
- 47:12Speaker 3: Right, Well that will lead us to our congressional candidate.
- 47:18Speaker 7: Last update from Newsside, Russia has basically said they're not
- 47:21Speaker 7: going to challenge the US and bring fuel.
- 47:25Speaker 4: Mexico has capitulated.
- 47:27Speaker 7: China is the only one that is saying they're still
- 47:29Speaker 7: going to send as much fuel as they can, so
- 47:31Speaker 7: we'll see what kind of conflict that brings. China is
- 47:34Speaker 7: also bringing solar panels, and they've tried to accelerate accelerate
- 47:38Speaker 7: the installation of these solar panels. I think they're now
- 47:40Speaker 7: up to twenty percent of energy from renewables and solar.
- 47:45Speaker 7: So when in solar, so it's nowhere near enough and
- 47:48Speaker 7: you can't do it fast enough. You need fuel to
- 47:51Speaker 7: like power this through the transition. But so that's the
- 47:56Speaker 7: that's the state of play. China is like the only
- 47:58Speaker 7: one saying they're going to have we'll see what they
- 48:01Speaker 7: actually end up doing.
- 48:02Speaker 3: I read that the Mexican Navy sent two boats with
- 48:05Speaker 3: some supplies. I'm not sure if there was.
- 48:07Speaker 7: Any rentals beans, like right, not oil.
- 48:12Speaker 6: They don't want to be. Yeah, I mean this is Mexico, Ryan,
- 48:17Speaker 6: kirct me if around. Mexico is the largest supplier of
- 48:21Speaker 6: fuel to Cuba, and so that's a really, really significant
- 48:25Speaker 6: consequence of the American Empire. Honestly.
- 48:29Speaker 5: Yep, all right, Ryan, who do we got coming up next?
- 48:36Speaker 7: Well? I got Nita Alam can it for a house
- 48:39Speaker 7: in North Carolina running against Valerie Fushi.
- 48:42Speaker 5: She here, I shall be here in just a moment.
- 48:45Speaker 5: We'll just wait for her at this point, and.
- 48:47Speaker 6: Ryan, maybe you can while we wait tee it up.
- 48:51Speaker 6: I know we talked about this at the beginning of
- 48:52Speaker 6: the episode, but give us some of the backstory in
- 48:56Speaker 6: case people are just tuning in for this part about
- 48:59Speaker 6: why we're talking in today.
- 49:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:01Speaker 7: So, Nina Lamps is from Dorham County. She was a
- 49:03Speaker 7: Dorham County commissioner. The way she got into politics though
- 49:07Speaker 7: that some of her friends were the victims of very
- 49:12Speaker 7: high profile hate crimes in Dorham Dorham County, and that
- 49:19Speaker 7: inspired her to say, I'm going I want to get
- 49:21Speaker 7: into public office, and she became this Durham County commissioner
- 49:26Speaker 7: and then in twenty twenty two ran for Congress. Was
- 49:30Speaker 7: very popular locally and was expected to win that race,
- 49:34Speaker 7: and instead APAK came in through their superpack, spending more
- 49:40Speaker 7: than two million dollars to try to tear her down
- 49:42Speaker 7: and lift up a rival candidate, Valerie Fushi. Fushi ended
- 49:48Speaker 7: up winning by something like four thousand votes, and so
- 49:52Speaker 7: has been a member of Congress now for a couple
- 49:53Speaker 7: of terms. Fushi though, so this is twenty twenty two,
- 49:58Speaker 7: you know, So it's January of twenty twenty three is
- 50:01Speaker 7: when Food she has sworn in, the combination of anger
- 50:06Speaker 7: from her constituents at having gotten in on the back
- 50:09Speaker 7: of all this a PAC money, combined with what Israel
- 50:12Speaker 7: did after October seventh, twenty twenty three, led her to
- 50:16Speaker 7: be a little bit more, a little bit critical of
- 50:20Speaker 7: Israel and probably more critical. And she also took it
- 50:23Speaker 7: like an APAC funded tript Yahoo like the whole did
- 50:26Speaker 7: the whole thing.
- 50:28Speaker 4: So she was.
- 50:28Speaker 7: Probably more critical of Israel than anybody else elected with
- 50:34Speaker 7: two million, at least two million dollars of a PAC money.
- 50:37Speaker 7: So it's not as if she was out there joining
- 50:39Speaker 7: the squad or joining others in like denouncing in a
- 50:45Speaker 7: really you know, confident way, what Israel was doing, but
- 50:49Speaker 7: raising real questions about what they were up to. And
- 50:52Speaker 7: then in twenty twenty five spring she set it a
- 50:55Speaker 7: town hall. She's like, I'm not taking a PAC money
- 50:57Speaker 7: and that and implied that she she had like she
- 51:00Speaker 7: was asked if she had regrets about it, she said, yes,
- 51:02Speaker 7: I took a PAC money at the time, but I'm
- 51:06Speaker 7: not going to take it again, you know, so I
- 51:09Speaker 7: want you to trust me when on that score. And
- 51:12Speaker 7: so now Alam is running against her again and so
- 51:17Speaker 7: it looks like she's not going to have the APAC
- 51:19Speaker 7: support and they end up losing her seat, which you
- 51:23Speaker 7: know it it creates complicated politics around it because you
- 51:30Speaker 7: do want people, right when they get in office to
- 51:33Speaker 7: break with a pack so that they can so that
- 51:36Speaker 7: they can you know, present their their own vision, like
- 51:41Speaker 7: whatever they think that you should do and whatever their
- 51:43Speaker 7: voters want them to do, Like that's what they should
- 51:45Speaker 7: be doing, not like what a special interest is telling
- 51:47Speaker 7: them to do. You do that, that's that's better for
- 51:49Speaker 7: democracy than doing what a super PAC tells you to do.
- 51:54Speaker 5: And we've got it right here Ryan, by the way.
- 51:56Speaker 7: Yeah, on the other hand, she came in with two
- 51:59Speaker 7: plus billion dollars of a PAC money and ni Alam
- 52:01Speaker 7: is a you know, much more progressive candidate in the race,
- 52:05Speaker 7: not just when it comes to Israel Palestine.
- 52:08Speaker 3: And she's about to get on the stage in just
- 52:10Speaker 3: a few minutes to a rally with Bernie Sanders, and
- 52:14Speaker 3: she so graciously offered to join right before that rally.
- 52:17Speaker 5: Let's welcome her to the show.
- 52:22Speaker 7: Hi, how are you welcome to Breaking Points?
- 52:27Speaker 10: Yes, I'm good, Thanks so much for having me.
- 52:30Speaker 7: So where's the where's the Bernie rally? Is it going
- 52:33Speaker 7: to be live streams? Can people watch it?
- 52:36Speaker 6: Yes?
- 52:36Speaker 10: So it's going to be on the Bernie's live stream.
- 52:40Speaker 10: I think we're also going to be cross posting it,
- 52:42Speaker 10: but we're having it at the Convention Center in downtown Durham.
- 52:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:46Speaker 7: So I don't know if you were able to hear
- 52:48Speaker 7: the intro as you're as you're awaiting, but it looks
- 52:53Speaker 7: like Valerie Fushi is probably not going to get at
- 52:58Speaker 7: least a pack outside support.
- 53:00Speaker 4: We don't know, we'll see.
- 53:00Speaker 7: When is the when when does voting start and when
- 53:03Speaker 7: is the election?
- 53:05Speaker 10: Early voting started yesterday actually and it's running through the
- 53:10Speaker 10: twenty eighth, and then election day is March third, So
- 53:12Speaker 10: we're in the thick of it right now?
- 53:14Speaker 4: Right?
- 53:16Speaker 7: Did she get crypto money in twenty twenty two? Was
- 53:18Speaker 7: it because there was a lot of this APEC crypto overlapped.
- 53:20Speaker 7: Do you remember was she one of those she.
- 53:24Speaker 10: Had Sam Bakman Freed, She was one of the protect
- 53:27Speaker 10: our future, Sam BigMan Freed got like things.
- 53:30Speaker 7: Going right for person, So he's not coming to the rescue.
- 53:37Speaker 7: What what do you what are you seeing? What are
- 53:40Speaker 7: you seeing as the contest plays out? Because you're like
- 53:42Speaker 7: you said that we're just weeks away from the election
- 53:45Speaker 7: at this point.
- 53:47Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean, we've been the only campaign that's been
- 53:49Speaker 10: out knocking on doors, talking to voters where they're at,
- 53:52Speaker 10: and also doing relational community organizing because what we're seeing
- 53:57Speaker 10: right now is that people across this country they're feeling
- 54:01Speaker 10: let down by our political systems. They're feeling like there's
- 54:04Speaker 10: no reason for them to vote. What's the purpose? The
- 54:07Speaker 10: systems have just failed them in so many ways. So
- 54:10Speaker 10: the way that we're doing things differently this race is
- 54:12Speaker 10: we're obviously doing the traditional like radio, male TV program,
- 54:17Speaker 10: but also we have our aunties and uncles in their
- 54:19Speaker 10: WhatsApp chats talking to each other, reminding each other to
- 54:23Speaker 10: vote because Ramadan is going to overlap with the election.
- 54:26Speaker 10: We're organizing the mosques to have if thars to the polls.
- 54:30Speaker 10: Holy is right after election Nay, but we're celebrating a
- 54:33Speaker 10: little early and going to do like adult to the polls,
- 54:35Speaker 10: have some music and Hannah and like bringing our community
- 54:39Speaker 10: together into this like way that it shows that we're
- 54:43Speaker 10: all accepted and we're all fighting for this same like
- 54:47Speaker 10: equality and dignity for everyone and.
- 54:50Speaker 7: Last one for me before and then Emi griff minocquestion.
- 54:53Speaker 7: So last night it was reported that there's a super
- 54:56Speaker 7: pack getting in to support you with almost a five
- 55:00Speaker 7: one thousand dollars add by. It's one of these pop
- 55:03Speaker 7: up super packs where it won't have to disclose kind
- 55:07Speaker 7: of who's funding it until until after the election. I
- 55:11Speaker 7: think you've been backed by Justice Democrats.
- 55:14Speaker 4: Is that right? Yes, you have, you have their endorsement.
- 55:18Speaker 7: My first guest, I was like, maybe Justice Democrats to
- 55:20Speaker 7: organize this. Have you heard any rumors about who? Because
- 55:23Speaker 7: you're not supposed to coordinate, you're not allowed to coordinate,
- 55:25Speaker 7: I should say, yeah with super packs. Have you heard
- 55:28Speaker 7: any rumors about where this money is coming from? And
- 55:31Speaker 7: were you surprised by it or had you heard, oh
- 55:34Speaker 7: there might be this cavalry coming in.
- 55:37Speaker 6: No.
- 55:38Speaker 10: I mean, I'm proud to have the endorsements of so
- 55:40Speaker 10: many national progressive organizations, and we're actually the first campaign
- 55:44Speaker 10: of this cycle to have this coalition of progressive groups
- 55:48Speaker 10: all endorse one race of Sunrise, Working Families Party, Justice Democrats,
- 55:53Speaker 10: so many more, and then also Senator Bernie Sanders himself,
- 55:56Speaker 10: And I mean, for me, I'm looking at it, I'm like,
- 56:00Speaker 10: I highly highly doubt there's any sort of right wing
- 56:02Speaker 10: billionaire or corporation behind this, because I'm not going to
- 56:06Speaker 10: be any benefit to them.
- 56:08Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I wonder I'll see if I can do
- 56:13Speaker 7: some taking and figure it out. I would suspect that
- 56:17Speaker 7: it is the coalition of because that that coalition Justice Democrats,
- 56:21Speaker 7: Working Families Party, it's like they've done independent expenditures in
- 56:25Speaker 7: the past, usually they put their name on it or
- 56:27Speaker 7: not comparised like it's not it's not kind of harmful
- 56:31Speaker 7: to be supported by them.
- 56:33Speaker 4: So so I don't know.
- 56:34Speaker 7: There's also this kind of pro Palestine super pac that launched.
- 56:38Speaker 7: Maybe they're trying to copy a pack.
- 56:42Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 56:43Speaker 10: Yeah, I think there's we're seeing a lot of progressive
- 56:47Speaker 10: energy and excitement, especially like posts Soaran's victory, folks have
- 56:52Speaker 10: felt like we were able to overcome ten million over yeah,
- 56:57Speaker 10: over ten million dollars of corporate spending in that race,
- 57:01Speaker 10: and then now even more excited from Anna Lilia Mehia's election.
- 57:05Speaker 10: And I'm proud that like with our campaign, we've been
- 57:08Speaker 10: running a grassroots race, or like our average contribution is
- 57:11Speaker 10: like fifty dollars or something, and it's coming from working
- 57:15Speaker 10: class folks in this district and across this country who
- 57:18Speaker 10: understand that I'm running for the fourth congressional district, but
- 57:21Speaker 10: I'm going to be a champion for everyone across this
- 57:23Speaker 10: country who wants to live with dignity, which is everyone.
- 57:28Speaker 3: You know.
- 57:28Speaker 6: That's interesting because one of the things that divides the
- 57:31Speaker 6: populace left and right when there's a lot of overlap.
- 57:34Speaker 6: Because I remember when we were talking to Zoron when
- 57:37Speaker 6: he was really early, like right, this was before the
- 57:39Speaker 6: election had really taken off. He had just been out
- 57:42Speaker 6: talking to Trump voters, and one of the things that
- 57:44Speaker 6: they were agreeing on was it was sort of obvious,
- 57:47Speaker 6: like paying your bills, healthcare costs, all of that. But
- 57:50Speaker 6: one of the things that does divide populis left and
- 57:52Speaker 6: right is immigration. And I'm curious because to me, it
- 57:57Speaker 6: feels like what Obamacare did for the party movement, those
- 58:01Speaker 6: of us on the right, ICE is doing to the
- 58:04Speaker 6: progressive movement right now that it's become this real like
- 58:07Speaker 6: the fuel that is just driving people to organize and
- 58:13Speaker 6: get active. So I'm curious how you're thinking about all
- 58:16Speaker 6: of that right now.
- 58:20Speaker 10: Yeah, And I think, I mean, even in North Carolina,
- 58:22Speaker 10: we are seeing, like, obviously there's gonna be folks who
- 58:26Speaker 10: are just deeply xenophobic, who don't want immigrants and don't
- 58:30Speaker 10: want people who look like me to be in this country.
- 58:32Speaker 10: But if you look at there's a lot of people
- 58:35Speaker 10: also in this district, this state, this country that consider
- 58:40Speaker 10: themselves Republicans but are also deeply disturbed by the actions
- 58:43Speaker 10: of ICE and CBP because they're not just going out
- 58:47Speaker 10: and actually enforcing immigration of what their agency's title is,
- 58:52Speaker 10: they're going out and terrorizing our neighbors, and they're targeting everyone.
- 58:57Speaker 10: The folks that they've been killing in January have been
- 59:00Speaker 10: and US citizens. They've been innocent civilians who are protesting
- 59:07Speaker 10: or documenting and have been murdered. And that's using our
- 59:11Speaker 10: taxpayer dollars, and I think folks across party lines should
- 59:15Speaker 10: be and are enraged by that.
- 59:18Speaker 7: What is the issue that you're finding resonate the most
- 59:21Speaker 7: are when you know what is kind of what are
- 59:24Speaker 7: you leaning leaning into?
- 59:28Speaker 10: I mean, I think one of the overarching issues that
- 59:30Speaker 10: we're seeing in this district and across the country is
- 59:32Speaker 10: the issue of affordability. And immigration is really deep in
- 59:36Speaker 10: top of mind for everyone also right now in this moment,
- 59:38Speaker 10: and its personal to me as a naturalized citizen myself
- 59:42Speaker 10: the daughter of immigrants from Indian Pakistan. And when it
- 59:46Speaker 10: comes down to the affordability issue though, that's something to
- 59:49Speaker 10: Emily what you were saying, like being able to talk
- 59:52Speaker 10: to Republican voters unaffiliated Democratic voters, Like I'm a county
- 59:56Speaker 10: commissioner in the Bluest District, Bluest County and North Caro,
- 1:00:00Speaker 10: but I've built relationships with Republican county commissioners across our
- 1:00:04Speaker 10: state because when we talk about building our budgets as
- 1:00:10Speaker 10: at the county level and the challenges we face of
- 1:00:13Speaker 10: the state not doing their jobs to fund public education
- 1:00:16Speaker 10: and how that creates a greater load on our counties
- 1:00:20Speaker 10: and we have to balance picking up that load but
- 1:00:23Speaker 10: also taking care of our residents and making sure that
- 1:00:25Speaker 10: they're able to have, you know, their snap benefits, their
- 1:00:30Speaker 10: social welfare programs, all of those things actually reaching them.
- 1:00:34Speaker 10: And so I've built relationships with Republicans by taking away
- 1:00:37Speaker 10: the labels because so much of the policy that I'm
- 1:00:41Speaker 10: supporting and folks across this country, working class folks want,
- 1:00:46Speaker 10: is common sense that I'll say where the Republican commission
- 1:00:49Speaker 10: is actually appointed to the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners,
- 1:00:53Speaker 10: which is our board of all one hundred counties across
- 1:00:58Speaker 10: the state. I was appointed and by a Republican commissioner
- 1:01:01Speaker 10: to the board of directors because I talked to him
- 1:01:05Speaker 10: about like he's in western North Carolina, and we found
- 1:01:08Speaker 10: common ground that I want my residents to be able
- 1:01:11Speaker 10: to put food on the table. You want your residence
- 1:01:14Speaker 10: to be able to put food on their tables. You
- 1:01:16Speaker 10: want your residence to keep a roof over their heads.
- 1:01:18Speaker 10: I want that for my residence. And if we talk
- 1:01:21Speaker 10: about these issues at that human level of taking care
- 1:01:24Speaker 10: of one another, the national noise that we hear it's
- 1:01:29Speaker 10: clouding those conversations, and that's what's hurting our families, and
- 1:01:33Speaker 10: we're able to build relationships and actually lobby for change
- 1:01:36Speaker 10: at the state level together at the federal level when
- 1:01:39Speaker 10: we're advocating for the dignity of working class folks.
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: So, how is the go for a row?
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: Yeah? Real quick?
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: How's the AI and the advent of AI impacting politics
- 1:01:53Speaker 7: in North Carolina? Because you've got the resource triangle, so
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: I imagine it's like, you know, really shaking things up
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: on that front. But what and what about the kind
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: of production of the you know, the power behind it?
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: Like, are are the data centers actually having growing a
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: political issue?
- 1:02:13Speaker 10: Yeah? They absolutely are. They We actually have an AI
- 1:02:16Speaker 10: data center that's being considered at the local level in Apex,
- 1:02:21Speaker 10: which is in this district, and residents have been coming
- 1:02:24Speaker 10: out strongly against it because it's going to be built
- 1:02:28Speaker 10: basically like right outside their neighborhoods. And Duke Energy, which
- 1:02:32Speaker 10: essentially has a monopoly on our electricity grid here in
- 1:02:35Speaker 10: North Carolina, they are already negotiating renegotiating their energy rates
- 1:02:40Speaker 10: with the town of Apex and basically increasing the rates
- 1:02:45Speaker 10: for residents to take account for the fact that they're
- 1:02:49Speaker 10: going to need an increased load for these AI data
- 1:02:51Speaker 10: centers and infrastructure needs. And so we're already seeing the
- 1:02:54Speaker 10: bill being passed on to our families and neighbors. And
- 1:02:59Speaker 10: that's why I'm the actually the only candidate, and this
- 1:03:01Speaker 10: came up in a town hall meeting, and I'm the
- 1:03:03Speaker 10: only candidate that's called to support Senator Sanders' national moratorium
- 1:03:08Speaker 10: on AI data centers. And it's not about hindering AI.
- 1:03:12Speaker 10: AI is going to exist in our world. It's not
- 1:03:16Speaker 10: going to go away. But how do we make sure
- 1:03:17Speaker 10: there are proper regulations in place that things like what
- 1:03:21Speaker 10: we're seeing right now with the energy electricity costs being
- 1:03:25Speaker 10: passed down down to the residents, millions of gallons of
- 1:03:27Speaker 10: water being consumed and folks is across the country just
- 1:03:31Speaker 10: to run a data center for one day. If folks
- 1:03:33Speaker 10: across the country are starting to see their taps run dry,
- 1:03:36Speaker 10: and we can't have that happen in our district, because again,
- 1:03:40Speaker 10: who is going to pay for those infrastructure costs? Where
- 1:03:42Speaker 10: are we going to get alternate resources of water? The
- 1:03:46Speaker 10: town of Apex gets their water from Jordan Lake, which
- 1:03:49Speaker 10: is not an indefinite bottomless lake of water.
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: Called it, it's a lake. Yeah, yeah, gotta be nerve wracking.
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: Go ahead.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: Sorry, I had a one more ICE related question for you.
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: I did some research on some of your haters online
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: that are calling you the zoron Mamdanie of North Carolina,
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: which I don't know if that's a great attack. Seems
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: like people like that guy, but they were cifically saying
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: because you have helped citizens in North Carolina with ice Watch,
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: alerting people to ice presence and things like that, and
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: there's currently this funding battle in Congress over the DHS
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: over how they're going to fund it. If you were
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: in Congress, what are like the clear demands that you
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: would make to say, we're not funding DHS until these
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: things happen.
- 1:04:39Speaker 10: Look, ICE as an agency was created in the Bush
- 1:04:43Speaker 10: era in two thousand and three, in a post nine
- 1:04:45Speaker 10: to eleven world, to target my community, the Muslim community.
- 1:04:50Speaker 10: It was an agency that was created to dehumanize us,
- 1:04:54Speaker 10: to target us, to surveil us. And now we're seeing
- 1:04:57Speaker 10: it push to another level of extreme under Trump's administry,
- 1:05:01Speaker 10: to murder innocent civilians in broad daylight. And I'm seeing
- 1:05:05Speaker 10: even in our incumbent in this seat is saying that
- 1:05:08Speaker 10: she's calling for reform of ICE as an agency that
- 1:05:11Speaker 10: body cameras and unasking them will somehow keep them in check.
- 1:05:16Speaker 10: They're already being live streamed murdering innocent people in broad daylight.
- 1:05:21Speaker 10: A body camera is not going to save our neighbors.
- 1:05:24Speaker 10: And so I am clear in my stance that ICE
- 1:05:28Speaker 10: needs to be abolished. It's not an agency that's actually
- 1:05:32Speaker 10: making our community safer. That the way that we tackle
- 1:05:36Speaker 10: and address the issue of immigration is through investment in
- 1:05:41Speaker 10: safe and clear legal passageways for immigration, opening up our
- 1:05:46Speaker 10: visa programs and green cards. I'm a naturalized citizen myself.
- 1:05:50Speaker 10: Most people who come to this country are either refugees
- 1:05:54Speaker 10: who are seeking refuge from honestly, most of the times
- 1:05:59Speaker 10: disasters that we the United States government has funded and created,
- 1:06:03Speaker 10: or they're coming here like my parents did to achieve
- 1:06:06Speaker 10: the American dream, to raise me and my sisters, to
- 1:06:10Speaker 10: be able to seek opportunity and to have to dream big.
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: Last last one for me, I've started to see a
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: lot of Democrats when it comes to question of immigration, say,
- 1:06:25Speaker 7: you know what, we actually we made a mistake by
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: letting ourselves be labeled as open border democrats. Democrats that
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: we that we don't care come, everybody can come in.
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: It led to Trump getting elected, and it led to
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: then this Jock Conian kind of reaction to it. We
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: need to focus on beating back ICE, abolishing ICE, rolling
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: rolling back CBPS abuses, and focusing on the way that
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: immigration enforcement is done internally. But we have to kind
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: of concede some ground on the on the border.
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: Uh are you seeing that?
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: And where do you fall down on that compromise? I
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: guess you would call it that Democrats seem to be
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: making or is it like no, no, no, Actually, Biden's
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: border policy is something that should be supported.
- 1:07:12Speaker 10: I honestly don't think that immigration has been the issue
- 1:07:16Speaker 10: that has cost us elections. I do sincerely believe that
- 1:07:20Speaker 10: it is issues around affordability. And it's not just the
- 1:07:24Speaker 10: issue of affordability in this district, it's across the country.
- 1:07:26Speaker 10: Is that working class folks want to hear what their
- 1:07:30Speaker 10: elected officials are going to do for them. Most people
- 1:07:33Speaker 10: in this country are unaffiliated voters, and so they just
- 1:07:37Speaker 10: want to see how are you going to fight for them,
- 1:07:39Speaker 10: how are you going to lower their costs of living?
- 1:07:41Speaker 10: And I think that as Democrats, we haven't done a
- 1:07:44Speaker 10: good job of talking to every demographic and talking to
- 1:07:48Speaker 10: every voter. Because even in states like North Carolina, where
- 1:07:52Speaker 10: we're labeled red, but we're truly purple, we're a pretty
- 1:07:55Speaker 10: fifty to fifty state.
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:07:57Speaker 10: Trump may have won the presidential here, but a Democratic
- 1:08:00Speaker 10: governor in the past three elections. And so what we
- 1:08:05Speaker 10: need to be doing is going into these areas and
- 1:08:08Speaker 10: these congressional districts that we take for granted and say
- 1:08:10Speaker 10: that they're read and talking to the everyday folks and
- 1:08:14Speaker 10: having conversations with them at that human level of like,
- 1:08:18Speaker 10: we know that you're struggling to make ends meet, that
- 1:08:20Speaker 10: your wages have stayed stagnant. North Carolina's minimum wage has
- 1:08:24Speaker 10: not changed over twenty years. It's been stuck at seven
- 1:08:26Speaker 10: dollars twenty five cents. The cost of living here is
- 1:08:30Speaker 10: twenty four dollars an hour. And this is how we
- 1:08:33Speaker 10: as Democrats or just we as your elected leaders, are
- 1:08:37Speaker 10: going to fight for you to raise the minimum wage
- 1:08:40Speaker 10: so that you can that you'll only have to work
- 1:08:43Speaker 10: one job to take care of your family. This is
- 1:08:46Speaker 10: how passing Medicare for All is going to guarantee health
- 1:08:49Speaker 10: care for you so that you don't have to worry
- 1:08:52Speaker 10: about going to the doctor or paying your rent, and
- 1:08:55Speaker 10: having those conversations with folks face to face, through community
- 1:09:00Speaker 10: town halls, through relational organizing. That's what we've struggled and
- 1:09:04Speaker 10: failed with I believe as a Democratic party, is that
- 1:09:07Speaker 10: we've taken these votes for granted that they're they're red,
- 1:09:09Speaker 10: they're going to vote read. There's no point in us
- 1:09:12Speaker 10: reaching out, but these aren't. We can't label our counties
- 1:09:16Speaker 10: and our districts as red or blue when it's all
- 1:09:18Speaker 10: working class folks.
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: Awesome, Well we got we got anything else before we
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: let her go on to her very busy day with
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: that rally.
- 1:09:28Speaker 5: Big day, Big day.
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: Yes, we'll be watching, we'll be tuning in. We'll include
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: a link to your website in the description. Any any
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: final words before we send you off.
- 1:09:40Speaker 10: No, just thank you, Ryan Griffin, Emily so much for
- 1:09:43Speaker 10: this opportunity. I think this election, you know, it's the
- 1:09:47Speaker 10: first primary alongside Texas, and we have the opportunity to
- 1:09:50Speaker 10: show that not only can Progressives win, they can win
- 1:09:54Speaker 10: in the South and we're gonna be able to prove
- 1:09:58Speaker 10: that come March third.
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: All right, thank you so much for thank you so much. Thanks,
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: talk to you soon. All right, that'll do it for
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: the first half of the show, and we'll see you
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: back here in just a moment. All right, we are
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: back in the second half of the show.
- 1:10:16Speaker 10: Here.
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: We're going to release the full show altogether publicly for
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: everyone today.
- 1:10:22Speaker 5: And you know, we just talk.
- 1:10:24Speaker 6: It's a little teased to see what you get with
- 1:10:26Speaker 6: the premium subscription. Sometimes we act as as business people
- 1:10:30Speaker 6: and we have business strategies.
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: Oh that's so adorable. Wow.
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: So we were looking at a certain race in the
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: South and North Carolina, but I had to turn our
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: attention momentarily to another race in the South. I'm talking,
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: of course, about the Florida governor race with one James Fishback.
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: Have you all been keeping track of the fish Back news?
- 1:10:56Speaker 6: What happened?
- 1:10:57Speaker 5: He got suspended from Twitter? He got suspended from what.
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: You have to do to get suspended from Twitter? My god?
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: Well, even worse, he got suspended from Tinder, which is
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: even more challenging. That's far, far more challenging.
- 1:11:09Speaker 9: Me.
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: Let me tell you.
- 1:11:10Speaker 7: Harvesting votes on tender. I guess that could be a
- 1:11:12Speaker 7: term of service violation.
- 1:11:14Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: He was reaching out to women, Yeah, he was reaching
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: out to female voters on Tinder is what he said.
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: But girlfriend but he brings around with him.
- 1:11:22Speaker 7: Well he well, he wasn't trying to know, he was
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: just trying to get their votes.
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: That's all.
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: I have seen people on dating apps like now posts
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: that they're like plumbers and stuff like people are just
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: posting jobs like on them now, being like hey I
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: can fix your I can fix your sink or whatever.
- 1:11:37Speaker 6: Literally, oh, they're they're combining like task grab it with tender.
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's so yeah. So look, if you're looking
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: for love, well maybe well you have a plumber. Uh
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: so in Florida. And I didn't want to offer a
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: mea culpa because a few episodes ago I said that
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: James Fishback had no motion and I was wrong, and
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: I'm here admitting it here on the show there is
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: some type of motion happening. And now I'm not sure
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: if this adds up to a successful political campaign, but
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: I did want to play a few clips here where
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: James Fishbeck seems to be generating some level of an
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: organic movement of young men down in Florida, and I
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: specifically wanted to highlight this clip where he referred to
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: cafeteria food as goy slop. So let's let's let's take
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: a let's take a listen to that.
- 1:12:25Speaker 8: My view is our our high school cafeterias should be
- 1:12:30Speaker 8: run by great local businesses, small business restaurants that have
- 1:12:34Speaker 8: local labor, that use Florida cattle, Florida produce Florida fruit
- 1:12:38Speaker 8: and yes, Florida orange juice. They should take over our cafeterias.
- 1:12:42Speaker 8: What's with the pop tarts in the Broward County public
- 1:12:45Speaker 8: schools in the cafeterias. I'm not saying that the test
- 1:12:49Speaker 8: scores are a results of the pop tarts, but if
- 1:12:52Speaker 8: you wanted kids to fail, if you wanted to set
- 1:12:56Speaker 8: up our kids for failure, you would feed them the
- 1:12:59Speaker 8: absolute goys slop in our cafeterias.
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: And for those just listening, he put his hand over
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: his heart at the end of that. There emotional all right.
- 1:13:15Speaker 7: As an old person, like, what what on earth does
- 1:13:18Speaker 7: he mean by goyslop?
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: It also implies the existence of of of Michelin star
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: goy like like a high class goy food as well. Uh,
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: you know it means well, it means it's like I mean,
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: isn't isn't you never heard?
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: This is not part of your vernacular?
- 1:13:37Speaker 7: Ryan, I'm not I need I need a little bit
- 1:13:40Speaker 7: of education on this Okay, reddit confused about goislop. I'm
- 1:13:44Speaker 7: gonna read a thread while you guys discuss.
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: No, no, no, please please elucidate the entire audience. I
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: want the I want the Webster definition.
- 1:13:53Speaker 7: Let's see for well, it's like dog food, the food
- 1:13:56Speaker 7: made for a dog, goyslop slop for a goy for
- 1:14:02Speaker 7: the US And okay, so this I see.
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: So it's.
- 1:14:10Speaker 7: It's it's like playing into anti Semitic tropes that like
- 1:14:14Speaker 7: they're saying that the Jewish people only feed non Jewish
- 1:14:18Speaker 7: people dog food?
- 1:14:19Speaker 6: Is that?
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: Is that what the essentially?
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: Yeah, essentially, and that's what got the pop from these
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: young Republican kids here now listen, I mean, outside of
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: the vernacular usage, it is hard to debate the fact
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: that we do feed absolute dog food garbage to our
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: children and we do not invest in the we do.
- 1:14:42Speaker 7: And when when Michelle Obama tried to change that, she
- 1:14:47Speaker 7: was like presented as like this was like Mause Dun
- 1:14:52Speaker 7: coming back from the grave. Right, So forgive me if,
- 1:14:56Speaker 7: like I don't have the most amount of patients for
- 1:14:58Speaker 7: this argument coming from from the right, Like like why
- 1:15:04Speaker 7: what was wrong with Michelle saying it, except I didn't
- 1:15:06Speaker 7: Michelle needed more anti semitism in in her presentation in
- 1:15:11Speaker 7: order to be acceptable to universalists.
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: And non bigoted.
- 1:15:17Speaker 7: Potentially, Okay, so we can get good food for the kids,
- 1:15:20Speaker 7: but only if we like lace it with bigotry.
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: Yes, right now it's laced with preservatives and right and additives,
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: but it could use a little bit more of the
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: anti semitism.
- 1:15:31Speaker 7: And you know, I mean, you've got to raise taxes,
- 1:15:34Speaker 7: like property taxes, get that.
- 1:15:36Speaker 5: Income tax in Florida. And I don't think he's uh suggested.
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: That, right.
- 1:15:41Speaker 7: It's more expensive to have a local business make the
- 1:15:45Speaker 7: food with than it is to have Cisco come in
- 1:15:48Speaker 7: and feed them slop like that's that's just a fact.
- 1:15:52Speaker 7: I think that that'd be a good thing. I'm for it,
- 1:15:55Speaker 7: but I'd like to hear how Fishbeck is going to
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: pay for that. I guess he'd say he's going to
- 1:16:00Speaker 7: use the Israeli bonds.
- 1:16:03Speaker 5: Yeah, potentially, And and you know it seems illiterate.
- 1:16:07Speaker 4: But whatever.
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: The outside of the.
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: Specifics of the cafeteria food, which you know, I Ryan,
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: I know you have kids, I'm not sure what the
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: food's like at their schools, but just like today pizza day, Sure,
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: chocolate milk day.
- 1:16:19Speaker 4: But you know what I said, which is kind of disturbing, Like.
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: Okay, all right, so the chili is not goy slap,
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: but everything else is. But you know, outside of the
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: specific vernacular, the larger picture here seems to be that
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: James Fishback is a new type of young Republican that
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: is activating young Republican voters by becoming the far right
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: meme come to life. I've got more footage.
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: Here of being straight up anti semitic, yes, but.
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: He's meme in all sorts of ways. You know, it's
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: not just the anti Semitism stuff. He claimed that someone
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: tried to burn down his home, so he came out
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: with an AR fifteen.
- 1:17:00Speaker 11: If you threaten our campaign, if you lay hands on
- 1:17:05Speaker 11: a single one of our volunteers, if you come back
- 1:17:09Speaker 11: to this home and our staff, our volunteers are working hard,
- 1:17:15Speaker 11: We're not waiting for the police.
- 1:17:17Speaker 6: We're gonna shoot you with.
- 1:17:18Speaker 8: An AR fifteen sight on scene five five six.
- 1:17:23Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what we're doing.
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: So he does that, and he also got into a
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: very heated debate over don Lemon recently with Tara Paul
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: Mary that I just wanted to share a quick moment
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: of as well to give you a full flavor of
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: this guy.
- 1:17:41Speaker 12: If I had to go into a cave to interview
- 1:17:45Speaker 12: the Taliban? Am I co conspirator to interview them? If
- 1:17:50Speaker 12: there's a buyer inside of a church and I'm in
- 1:17:52Speaker 12: there covering it? Am I a co conspirator? Am I
- 1:17:56Speaker 12: the arsonists? Because I'm in there?
- 1:17:59Speaker 6: True?
- 1:18:00Speaker 7: If the nine to eleven highjackers gave you a heads
- 1:18:02Speaker 7: up and you bore to the plane to cover the
- 1:18:03Speaker 7: nine to eleven high jacking, and yes, you and anyone
- 1:18:06Speaker 7: else involved should be publicly executed.
- 1:18:09Speaker 12: Oh my gosh, why would I get into a plane
- 1:18:12Speaker 12: that's about to.
- 1:18:14Speaker 6: Right?
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: So listen, it's not just anti Semitism, it's a little
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: bit of everything, Ryan.
- 1:18:19Speaker 7: Her point is a fair one that she's got bigger
- 1:18:22Speaker 7: problems if she gets.
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: Onto the into the natal line.
- 1:18:26Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I think sort those charges out later.
- 1:18:32Speaker 7: You know, he's he's polling in the double titches and
- 1:18:34Speaker 7: how he was at like two percent.
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: Yeah, and I saw a pole that's had him at
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: like twenty percent with his opponent buyer in at like
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: thirty five or what have you.
- 1:18:43Speaker 7: So the latest latest Paul is Donald's up fifteen. I
- 1:18:46Speaker 7: don't think it's a very reputable poll. But previous polls, Mason,
- 1:18:50Speaker 7: there's a Mason Dixon pole which is more credible, that
- 1:18:52Speaker 7: has Donald at thirty seven and fish Back at three, and.
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: That's the January poll.
- 1:19:00Speaker 7: I like, that's much more credible than this Patriot polling
- 1:19:03Speaker 7: that are people are circulating. It's like A and Ryan.
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: I've also heard rumors, and I haven't been able to
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: confirm this yet, but there are rumors that he's not
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: even eligible to run in Florida because he has not
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: lived in a Florida residence for seven years. There are apparently,
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: allegedly some records that show that he had a d
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: C based home up to twenty and twenty five, which
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: wouldn't even make him eligible technically.
- 1:19:30Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm not gonna be other Byron Donald's internal polls,
- 1:19:32Speaker 7: but still that like they have him no. Forty Donald's
- 1:19:36Speaker 7: forty seven, Fishback five.
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: I think ultimately what I am seeing from this Fishback thing,
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: whether this is a real race or not, is is
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: I guess the question. The larger question for me is
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: is this a lens into the future of activating young Republican.
- 1:19:55Speaker 5: Voters to the means. It's interesting the memes in real life.
- 1:19:58Speaker 7: Yeah, so far as not trans on the ground into votes, but.
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: It is translated into these viral videos, these these crowd
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: clips or.
- 1:20:08Speaker 7: What disconnect there, Yeah, which I think Republicans should pay
- 1:20:12Speaker 7: close attention to, Like is in doing it for you
- 1:20:16Speaker 7: unless you're just trying to grow an audience on the internet.
- 1:20:19Speaker 7: Grow A lot of people are, But if you're trying
- 1:20:21Speaker 7: to win elections, went over the electorate, it's not happening.
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: Yeah. Uh, well that was my James fishback update. Just
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: wanted to keep everyone ahead of what's going on over there.
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: There is another race, uh that we've been looking at
- 1:20:37Speaker 3: for a little bit, mister James Talerico h versus Jasmine
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: Crockett Ryan. What is going on with this Tallarico Crockett race.
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: We've talked a little bit behind the scenes about it.
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: But but what do you make of this? And and
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: who would you say has the better chance here between
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: the two?
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: If you were if you were voting in Texas.
- 1:21:00Speaker 7: US you want to I want to poll some polling up,
- 1:21:02Speaker 7: but see what we got the in the in the poll.
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: Well, I'll play this video while, uh, while we look
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: for some polling here, because Talllarco, you know, does seem
- 1:21:11Speaker 3: to be imbibing some of the new democratic energy around
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: the oligarchy. He's been talking a lot about class warfare
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: in the such Let's take.
- 1:21:23Speaker 7: A listen, and how is that not just like pushing
- 1:21:27Speaker 7: for class warfare.
- 1:21:30Speaker 13: We already have class warfare in this country. It's the
- 1:21:33Speaker 13: billionaires waging war against the rest of us, and right
- 1:21:37Speaker 13: now the billionaires are winning. They've been winning for fifty years.
- 1:21:42Speaker 13: Trickle down economics is not a theory. It is theft.
- 1:21:47Speaker 13: For fifty years. For fifty years, the billionaires have been
- 1:21:55Speaker 13: stealing from the American people, stealing the wealth that we created.
- 1:22:00Speaker 13: It's why everyone is so angry right now. It's why
- 1:22:05Speaker 13: no matter how hard you work, you can't seem to
- 1:22:07Speaker 13: get ahead. The American people are not asking for a
- 1:22:11Speaker 13: lot a job. We don't hate, a house big enough
- 1:22:17Speaker 13: to rape the family in and a little left over
- 1:22:21Speaker 13: so we can go on vacation every once in a while.
- 1:22:25Speaker 13: That is a lot harder than it should be, harder
- 1:22:30Speaker 13: than it should be in America. So I'm not fighting
- 1:22:33Speaker 13: for class warfare. I'm fighting for the American dream.
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: So that is Tallerico fighting for the American dream, and
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: that does seem to be like what he has been
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: kind of pushing over and over again, whereas the Jasmine
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: Crockett side seems to be solely around I'm going to
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: fight Donald Trump.
- 1:22:47Speaker 5: I pissed.
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: I triggered Donald Trump, and I'm the one that triggers
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: Donald Trump the most.
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: Yeah, that was the first clip of his I saw
- 1:22:55Speaker 7: circulating more like, Okay, this guy's like all right, I'm
- 1:23:00Speaker 7: listening now, Okay, let's hear what else you got. I
- 1:23:03Speaker 7: still think he's got the problem that he kind of
- 1:23:05Speaker 7: looks like he's seventeen, not to be shallow, but like,
- 1:23:09Speaker 7: you know, voting that matters to voters. So I'm looking
- 1:23:13Speaker 7: here at the time summary. There's been three polls that
- 1:23:18Speaker 7: are not internal polls in January. Two of them have
- 1:23:24Speaker 7: Crockett up. The University of Houston, the School of Public
- 1:23:28Speaker 7: Policy there has crocketted up eight. Slingshot Strategies poll Texas
- 1:23:32Speaker 7: Public Opinion Research has crocked up one, and then Emerson
- 1:23:35Speaker 7: College is good pollster sponsored by next Star, which is
- 1:23:39Speaker 7: the News Nation and local news conglomerate, has Tallerico up
- 1:23:44Speaker 7: nine over Crockett. So it feels like the polling is
- 1:23:48Speaker 7: basically tilting Crocket's way a little bit, but not in
- 1:23:52Speaker 7: a way that you would say that this race is
- 1:23:55Speaker 7: any anywhere near over.
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: And this is after there was, you know, two weeks ago,
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: and we covered on the show here what was supposed
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: to be sort of like an identity politics kill shot
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: on Tallarico where they said, oh, he called Colin Allred
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: a mediocre black man or whatever, you know, which potentially
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: maybe back in twenty eighteen that might have been it,
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: but it doesn't really seem to have fully put the
- 1:24:20Speaker 3: you know, the holes in his tires.
- 1:24:22Speaker 7: I you know, he denied it, and then all Red
- 1:24:27Speaker 7: and Crockett, you know, came in for some significant criticism
- 1:24:33Speaker 7: from National Democrats for kind of going in on it. So, yeah,
- 1:24:38Speaker 7: that is a different state of affairs than would have
- 1:24:42Speaker 7: existed a couple of years ago.
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: And you know, tall Urico seems to be, you know,
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: he's catching the wave of the anti oligarchy. People are
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: mad at the billionaires or what have you, and he
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: says the billionaires are are what's wrong. But I just
- 1:24:57Speaker 3: had did a little bit of research and I had
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: to fla this political article dem Darling Tylarrico showered with
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: Miriam Addelson linked money. A group funded by Adelson was
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: the biggest donor to James Tallerco's campaign last.
- 1:25:12Speaker 7: Year, his his like state legislative campaign, his and so
- 1:25:17Speaker 7: his defense of this has been it's kind of a
- 1:25:21Speaker 7: funny defense. It's like, this was not about Israel. This
- 1:25:25Speaker 7: was about gambling.
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: Perfect.
- 1:25:27Speaker 4: It was.
- 1:25:28Speaker 7: It was for this casino that Adamson Empire, uh, you know,
- 1:25:31Speaker 7: wanted to build in Texas. So it's like, okay, all right,
- 1:25:39Speaker 7: well the best we can do.
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: I guess what one's gotta go, Israel or gambling. It's
- 1:25:48Speaker 3: your pig, Bryan, you can't have. But you can't have both.
- 1:25:50Speaker 4: Well, I mean.
- 1:25:51Speaker 7: One of them is committing a genocide. The other is, yeah,
- 1:25:56Speaker 7: utterly cutting like the entire like finances of country. I
- 1:26:03Speaker 7: would get rid of. The one doing the genocide will
- 1:26:05Speaker 7: not get rid of, but like have them end their genocide.
- 1:26:10Speaker 7: Mm hmm.
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: Okay, so that's us. We're pro gambling now as long
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: as we can end the genocide. I feel really good
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: about that.
- 1:26:18Speaker 7: He could also just say I'm not taking any super
- 1:26:20Speaker 7: pac money or any adults in money, no matter what
- 1:26:23Speaker 7: the cause is.
- 1:26:24Speaker 5: I do think it's a sign that they're there.
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: Obviously, she's not giving him money for a Senate campaign either.
- 1:26:30Speaker 3: Right, but this is kind of a sign that there's
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: going to be a lot more centrist Dems that are
- 1:26:34Speaker 3: like I get it, yo, Like whatever Bernie's saying, anti oligarchy,
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: sure whatever, just don't look into like any of my
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: past and like we're good. So we'll see how that
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: strategy works and if the DEM base is is cognizant
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: enough or or or shrewd enough to pick apart the
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: the I don't know the conflict or the hypocrisies laden
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: within some of these candidates. I think that leads us
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: nicely to the end. But we'll answer just a few
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: of your AMA questions from the audience. And Emily did not.
- 1:27:10Speaker 3: I just want to tell Emily left. She didn't leave
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: because she was but she didn't leave because she was
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: scared of the Fishback conversation. She tells me. She says
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: her power went out. Coincidence, Huh. I was hoping for
- 1:27:22Speaker 3: a virulent defense of fish Back from Emily. I guess
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: we'll never know.
- 1:27:28Speaker 4: I don't think we're going to get that. Yeah, I guess.
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: We'll never know what she would have said there. But
- 1:27:32Speaker 3: let's get to some of these am a questions. First off,
- 1:27:38Speaker 3: someone asked, what was your experience on the Peers Morgan
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: Show yesterday?
- 1:27:43Speaker 5: Ryan, how did that go?
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: Well?
- 1:27:46Speaker 7: It was usually when Pierce Morgan's reaching out, You're like, oh, God, like,
- 1:27:53Speaker 7: so like it's gonna be some you know, shout fest
- 1:27:55Speaker 7: whoever can shout earliest and loudest. But they were like, no, no, no,
- 1:27:58Speaker 7: like we just want you to come on and like
- 1:28:01Speaker 7: talk about your reporting when it comes to Epstein and
- 1:28:04Speaker 7: also Nenyaw's visit to d C. We did end up
- 1:28:06Speaker 7: having time for the Nenyaw who visit to d C,
- 1:28:09Speaker 7: and then I left, I did my did my piece,
- 1:28:14Speaker 7: and then Dershowitz and Boz Musev just got to go
- 1:28:17Speaker 7: at each other for half an hour over long.
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: They went out each other.
- 1:28:21Speaker 7: So that that's actually kind of a nice ideal situation
- 1:28:23Speaker 7: to be in. I like sharing the reporting and then
- 1:28:27Speaker 7: the other folks can hash it out. I was in
- 1:28:30Speaker 7: the trailer listing to Dershowitz. As I'm leaving, I'm like, oh,
- 1:28:35Speaker 7: I kind of wish I was on for some of
- 1:28:36Speaker 7: these some of this nonsense. But I also don't want
- 1:28:39Speaker 7: to be there for that either. Like it's I'm very
- 1:28:42Speaker 7: much torn in both directions.
- 1:28:46Speaker 3: Uh yeah, they got to institute some sort of mute
- 1:28:50Speaker 3: button or something, but they liked the crosstalks.
- 1:28:53Speaker 5: I'm not sure.
- 1:28:54Speaker 3: I'm I'm not going to tell the I'm not going
- 1:28:56Speaker 3: to tell the professionals what to.
- 1:28:58Speaker 5: Do over there.
- 1:28:58Speaker 3: They seem to have a good thing going. This next
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: one is from Jack ve'd beck. He says, would you
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: guys bring on Michael Tracy to debate Epstein stuff? I
- 1:29:09Speaker 3: always liked him and thought he was a good faith actor,
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: even when I disagree with him, But his takes on
- 1:29:13Speaker 3: Epstein have been absolutely bad shit, and I would liked
- 1:29:16Speaker 3: it before Ryan response, We did do this already about
- 1:29:20Speaker 3: four months ago, before this new tranch of emails came
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: out between Sager and Tracy. So we've already had one
- 1:29:27Speaker 3: struggle session over this. But is it time for a
- 1:29:30Speaker 3: Michael Tracy return?
- 1:29:32Speaker 4: Definitely not.
- 1:29:34Speaker 7: We also had him on, didn't we have him on
- 1:29:38Speaker 7: a Friday show? Probably he was arguing with No.
- 1:29:42Speaker 5: Maybe it was a counterpoints like debate show back in
- 1:29:44Speaker 5: the day.
- 1:29:45Speaker 7: Counterpoints Friday. We had him on arguing something. Now yeah.
- 1:29:52Speaker 7: Last night he was also defending Jean lu Brunell, a
- 1:29:57Speaker 7: notorious sex trafficker who getting accused of rap going all
- 1:30:04Speaker 7: the way back to nineteen eighties, like a documentary about
- 1:30:10Speaker 7: it eight nineteen eighty eight, and then he continued abusing
- 1:30:14Speaker 7: women for decades, and now you're also defending him. This
- 1:30:20Speaker 7: this associate of Epstein's.
- 1:30:21Speaker 3: Like, no, so yeah, I don't know. It's a lot
- 1:30:31Speaker 3: to unpack with that, gentleman. I'll say that as well.
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: Someone here asks s w Z says, can we get
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: a good News by Griffin weekly round Up? I think
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: it'd be a great addition to the Friday show. And
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: he's the one silly enough to deliver the endorphin boost
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: amidst his bleak weekly gestures at everything. It is kind
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: of tough, Like there was that show that John Krasinsky
- 1:30:51Speaker 3: did during COVID that was like some good news, and
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: I don't it those always came off as like a
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: little a little well, I don't know, unnecessary. I'm not sure,
- 1:31:05Speaker 3: Like should we fit in a nuggative optimism?
- 1:31:08Speaker 5: I mean we try to.
- 1:31:09Speaker 3: I mean sometimes it's candidates that come on here, they
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: give a little bit of optimism, like we had one
- 1:31:13Speaker 3: on today. I mean, but I mean, what do you
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: make Ryan, Should we be doing more good news on
- 1:31:18Speaker 3: the show.
- 1:31:18Speaker 7: If you want to do it, you go for it.
- 1:31:23Speaker 7: I think we're covering the news. If it's good, we'll
- 1:31:25Speaker 7: cover it. Unfortunately much of.
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: It, Ryan, what do you make of the l Passo shooting.
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: There's multiple people asking here about that, the l Passo
- 1:31:36Speaker 3: air shut down and what is now the official story
- 1:31:40Speaker 3: that CBP has laser beams and shot down a birthday balloon.
- 1:31:47Speaker 7: I know Saga is pretty suspicious of that, and his
- 1:31:51Speaker 7: UFO Radars is going off the idea that DHS would
- 1:31:56Speaker 7: be given a laser gun and immediately deploy.
- 1:31:59Speaker 4: It in a de irresponsible way.
- 1:32:02Speaker 7: It has something I find very credible, and maybe they're
- 1:32:06Speaker 7: like exploiting CBP and DHS's like low brand among the
- 1:32:12Speaker 7: public that like the whole public right now is like, oh,
- 1:32:16Speaker 7: these idiots were acting recklessly.
- 1:32:18Speaker 4: Yeah, that that track.
- 1:32:20Speaker 7: So maybe maybe we're like the victims of a of
- 1:32:24Speaker 7: a psyop because they know that we have the lowest
- 1:32:28Speaker 7: possible opinion of the goons at CBP and ICE, so
- 1:32:32Speaker 7: we'll believe anything.
- 1:32:33Speaker 10: Oh.
- 1:32:34Speaker 5: I like that theory, kind of like, oh, blame it
- 1:32:36Speaker 5: all on them.
- 1:32:37Speaker 3: But I also just totally believe it. Yeah, yeah, and
- 1:32:41Speaker 3: it is I mean I believe it too. That that
- 1:32:44Speaker 3: there was a misuse of a weapon by CBP is
- 1:32:48Speaker 3: the daily story. But I think what is scarier about
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: that to me is guys that could not get a
- 1:32:55Speaker 3: job being the mall security cop have laser beams.
- 1:33:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:33:00Speaker 7: It's not ideal, not ideal at all. Powerful, like powerful
- 1:33:05Speaker 7: enough to panic the FAA into shutting down the airspace
- 1:33:08Speaker 7: for ten freaking days.
- 1:33:10Speaker 3: Yeah, And honestly, I like I was talking to Crystal
- 1:33:13Speaker 3: about this, like the people that from the FFA, they
- 1:33:16Speaker 3: probably just had to scramble like what the hell is
- 1:33:18Speaker 3: going on over here? And and okay, screw it, We're
- 1:33:21Speaker 3: shutting down the airspace for ten days. So I believe
- 1:33:24Speaker 3: they were the adults in the room on this one, actually.
- 1:33:27Speaker 3: But yeah, so look forward to more laser related incidents
- 1:33:32Speaker 3: in the future. I guess with these laser beams, Now,
- 1:33:36Speaker 3: what's a laser beam weapon?
- 1:33:37Speaker 4: Is this?
- 1:33:38Speaker 5: Like, do you have you have you ever heard of
- 1:33:40Speaker 5: this before?
- 1:33:41Speaker 4: They exist? Yeah, they exists.
- 1:33:44Speaker 5: It's it's just like Star Wars or is this something
- 1:33:46Speaker 5: a little bit more?
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: Yeah? Cool? You can you can find.
- 1:33:54Speaker 7: You can find demonstration videos of them, like on YouTube
- 1:33:59Speaker 7: or something from different companies that trying trying to sell them.
- 1:34:03Speaker 3: So I can get a laser gun, as assess, I
- 1:34:06Speaker 3: think you would need a serious license a license for that.
- 1:34:10Speaker 7: Yeah, Israel is talking about, you know, moving to these
- 1:34:13Speaker 7: laser defenses because the current like missile defense system costs
- 1:34:19Speaker 7: them you know, or sorry, costs us you know, billions,
- 1:34:23Speaker 7: and so every time they get into a conflict with Iran,
- 1:34:25Speaker 7: they have to spend billions launching these missiles to knock
- 1:34:28Speaker 7: down the Irani missiles. And so they're trying to develop
- 1:34:31Speaker 7: and claim that they have made serious strides in developing
- 1:34:35Speaker 7: a laser system that costs very little for each each shot. Incredible,
- 1:34:42Speaker 7: incredible things happening over there. All right, Well now now
- 1:34:45Speaker 7: I want to shoot it.
- 1:34:46Speaker 4: Later.
- 1:34:46Speaker 3: If the CBP guys are getting to do it, I
- 1:34:48Speaker 3: want to do it. Our final question is from lay MVP.
- 1:34:53Speaker 3: They ask breaking points. Kyle Kolinski is the dark Woke Commander,
- 1:34:58Speaker 3: Hassan Piker the Ayatola of Woke. What are the titles
- 1:35:01Speaker 3: of Crystal Ball and Ryan Grimm in the reawokening?
- 1:35:07Speaker 8: Uh?
- 1:35:07Speaker 7: Still, I'm still asleep Crystal's Uh, what kind of woke
- 1:35:15Speaker 7: is she?
- 1:35:17Speaker 6: Just?
- 1:35:17Speaker 4: I don't know, I don't know. What do you think?
- 1:35:20Speaker 5: Well, I think you're I think your professor woke perhaps or.
- 1:35:25Speaker 3: And for her I mean something maybe Queen Chancellor, we
- 1:35:30Speaker 3: have to come up with it.
- 1:35:32Speaker 5: I've had it. Ladies are obviously their own.
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: Dark woke as well, So yeah, I mean, people really
- 1:35:40Speaker 3: liked when Kyle went on the Piers Morgan Show and
- 1:35:43Speaker 3: was very rude to one Daily Wire correspondent, and people
- 1:35:49Speaker 3: seem to get a lot out of that. He did
- 1:35:53Speaker 3: have sunglasses on, which is more conservative coded I think,
- 1:35:56Speaker 3: using some of their visual language and aesthetic taking that
- 1:35:59Speaker 3: back from.
- 1:36:00Speaker 5: Them, which I like.
- 1:36:02Speaker 3: But do do you think that dark woke is the
- 1:36:04Speaker 3: future to be? To be rude and crude on the
- 1:36:09Speaker 3: side of on the side of woke? Is that an
- 1:36:13Speaker 3: effective measure maybe.
- 1:36:15Speaker 4: For a little while. I don't know.
- 1:36:16Speaker 7: I think things are changing rapidly. Nothing nothing is stable,
- 1:36:21Speaker 7: so seem like welcome that.
- 1:36:24Speaker 3: I do already sense it. In the entertainment industry and beyond.
- 1:36:28Speaker 3: There are podcasters and others who are starting to put
- 1:36:33Speaker 3: their fingers into the wind and feel things changing. So
- 1:36:37Speaker 3: it seems like woke was dead for about eight months,
- 1:36:41Speaker 3: and now we've got Piers Morgan debating Megan Kelly about
- 1:36:44Speaker 3: the bad Bunny thing, and Piers Morgan is taking the
- 1:36:46Speaker 3: bad Bunny side. So it does seem like they had
- 1:36:50Speaker 3: a very very quick run on the Woke is dead
- 1:36:52Speaker 3: thing and Woke maybe returning very soon. So is that
- 1:36:55Speaker 3: some good news? I don't know, previous questioner, there's your
- 1:36:59Speaker 3: good news Woke return.
- 1:37:01Speaker 7: There wasn't as much latent bigotry as the Maga world
- 1:37:06Speaker 7: that that wing of the Maga world expected there would
- 1:37:09Speaker 7: be because they have we now have permission to be bigoted.
- 1:37:12Speaker 7: Everyone's going to be bigoted, I mean, and they look
- 1:37:15Speaker 7: around like, oh, a lot of people are just not
- 1:37:18Speaker 7: don't want to do that.
- 1:37:19Speaker 3: And I think that buying Elon buying Twitter was actually
- 1:37:23Speaker 3: like a poison pill for the sort of reality distortion
- 1:37:28Speaker 3: of the of the cultural conservatism because conservatives went on
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: too x now and they see, oh, everyone agrees with me,
- 1:37:36Speaker 3: everyone thinks it's hilarious when the DHS Gov posts an
- 1:37:42Speaker 3: as MR of an immigrant in chains and that everyone
- 1:37:46Speaker 3: likes would love it. So this is this is really
- 1:37:48Speaker 3: going to resonate with the public, and they're at the
- 1:37:50Speaker 3: top of the feed, and they're getting tons of quote
- 1:37:53Speaker 3: unquote engagement in views. So surely this must be the
- 1:37:58Speaker 3: feeling of the nation, and so we're going to stack
- 1:38:02Speaker 3: our White House communications with that energy.
- 1:38:06Speaker 5: And most people.
- 1:38:08Speaker 3: Have found that kind of revolting, including many of my
- 1:38:12Speaker 3: young MAGA friends. You know, I've talked to many of
- 1:38:15Speaker 3: my young MAGA friends that voted for Trump and they go, man, like,
- 1:38:19Speaker 3: I didn't think I was voting for like, you know,
- 1:38:22Speaker 3: ripping a mom out of her car, Like, I don't.
- 1:38:25Speaker 5: Know what they thought they were voting for, but it
- 1:38:26Speaker 5: wasn't that right.
- 1:38:28Speaker 7: Yeah, No, I think that's right.
- 1:38:30Speaker 4: So that's something all right.
- 1:38:32Speaker 3: And that's Hey, another good news story with do them
- 1:38:34Speaker 3: All on the AMAS. That's gonna do it for us
- 1:38:36Speaker 3: this week. Again, thank you so much everyone for supporting
- 1:38:40Speaker 3: us at Breakingpoints dot com with a membership. Just to
- 1:38:43Speaker 3: peek a little bit behind the curtains here. These have
- 1:38:46Speaker 3: been some of the biggest weeks on the show with
- 1:38:48Speaker 3: our very intensive breakdowns of epstein news and you'll see
- 1:38:53Speaker 3: what our clips are getting way bigger views than normal.
- 1:38:57Speaker 3: But I'll also let you know there are many of
- 1:38:59Speaker 3: them are getting demonetized, so we are not able to
- 1:39:03Speaker 3: survive off of doing the news off of YouTube ad revenue.
- 1:39:08Speaker 3: The only way that we are able to get these
- 1:39:10Speaker 3: stories out on drop site and for Ryan to come
- 1:39:13Speaker 3: on here, for Sager to come on here and have
- 1:39:15Speaker 3: the time to break all of that down, that's because
- 1:39:18Speaker 3: of our supporters at Breakingpoints dot com in the membership,
- 1:39:21Speaker 3: and we really can't thank you enough. As we said earlier,
- 1:39:24Speaker 3: if you were to just watch the mainstream media on
- 1:39:28Speaker 3: these issues, you would be getting such a fractional surface
- 1:39:32Speaker 3: view at what's going on here, and the reason that
- 1:39:35Speaker 3: we can do more is because of you guys, so
- 1:39:37Speaker 3: thank you so much. And if you can afford a membership,
- 1:39:40Speaker 3: we've got monthly memberships at breakingpoints dot com and on
- 1:39:44Speaker 3: that note, that'll do it for us here Friday, we
- 1:39:47Speaker 3: all help you have a great weekend and we'll see
- 1:39:48Speaker 3: you back in the studio on Monday.
- 1:39:51Speaker 4: To you
