- 1:00Speaker 4: You Stallion, how's life?
- 1:02Speaker 3: Yeah again, pretty grassy mad dog your sixth son of
- 1:05Speaker 3: a b Yeah, I was, I was. I was going
- 1:07Speaker 3: to not go. I was going to give the gym
- 1:09Speaker 3: a mysterday. To be honest with you, man, that I thought.
- 1:12Speaker 3: What am I thinking? Then? It's Toidy J's first day
- 1:15Speaker 3: back after a week away, a week at sea as
- 1:18Speaker 3: it were. I've got a judy to get to that
- 1:21Speaker 3: gym and get a pump on, so that hardy Jacoby
- 1:24Speaker 3: fizzing when we took over four pm.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Oh look, I won't lie to you man. I'm massively aroused.
- 1:29Speaker 4: And when Mogi arrived at the office, I was already
- 1:34Speaker 4: here in anticipation, and he was cooking himself as a
- 1:36Speaker 4: little broccoli and desiccated chicken meal, and I just couldn't
- 1:40Speaker 4: help but notice the bulbing veins in his arms. I
- 1:44Speaker 4: was like, geez, boy, you're looking good man, you're looking good.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Hey, speaking of looking good.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Yeah, I tell you what pud can he has. He's
- 1:52Speaker 4: just been regaling us. I have a regaled mess of
- 2:01Speaker 4: weekended he just had. And he's like he's like the cats.
- 2:08Speaker 4: He's like the cat that got the cream at the mam.
- 2:10Speaker 4: How are you Puck's uncle.
- 2:12Speaker 5: It's great to have you, Beckward Jay.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I did miss you last week, yes, and it's a
- 2:15Speaker 2: pleasure to be here with you, folks.
- 2:17Speaker 4: I tell you why your here is looking great so
- 2:19Speaker 4: you had to wash it after then phil Foot went
- 2:21Speaker 4: off last the weekend.
- 2:23Speaker 5: But that's just away from that you can't.
- 2:27Speaker 4: That's not fair.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Can I just say Keysey's not here today?
- 2:31Speaker 4: Yes, he's not here.
- 2:32Speaker 3: He's not here? Is that he's away, He's sitting around
- 2:35Speaker 3: the joint from all from all reports, he had an
- 2:37Speaker 3: absolute shocker at the Sydney Opera House. Yes, last night.
- 2:41Speaker 3: He's embarrassed himself, he's embarrassed's partner and he's brought great
- 2:45Speaker 3: shame on the Headache Big Show. So we're going to
- 2:47Speaker 3: hear all about that when he gets back on Wednesday.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Yes, that's I had no idea that Kesey was over
- 2:52Speaker 4: in Sydney. Actually I don't. I don't remember approving it
- 2:55Speaker 4: at any stage, you know what I'm saying. So I
- 2:58Speaker 4: was pretty filthy that when I arrived he wasn't going
- 3:00Speaker 4: to be on air. But hey, pak Son, you always
- 3:02Speaker 4: do a great job you Yes, Stallion, I tell you what.
- 3:06Speaker 4: We've got a messing segways going, man, massive showy, he'd say,
- 3:11Speaker 4: stay tuned, let's kick off with a ah of course,
- 3:14Speaker 4: Green Day.
- 3:15Speaker 1: The Darky Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Keezy.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Here's in Deep Peel jam there on the Radio Hodarchy
- 3:23Speaker 4: Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is twelve minutes
- 3:26Speaker 4: past four o'clock. Just a reminder, No kezy to Wednesday. Yep,
- 3:30Speaker 4: he's over in Sydney partying and app by the sounds
- 3:32Speaker 4: of it. Didn't get permission from me, but the go.
- 3:35Speaker 4: But what we're going to do right now is something
- 3:37Speaker 4: we haven't done for a little while. The big show,
- 3:39Speaker 4: big pole, the big Pole. Yes, indeed, in the question
- 3:50Speaker 4: today is what was your sporting event of the weekend.
- 3:54Speaker 3: That's right. We had a hell of a weekend, didn't we.
- 3:56Speaker 3: The Kiwis all over the world bringing great pride onto
- 4:01Speaker 3: the country where their victories left right and sent to
- 4:04Speaker 3: Rende started off with a bit of tea New Zealand there. Yeah, man,
- 4:08Speaker 3: absolutely pumping the British pump.
- 4:12Speaker 4: It was giving them an ass slapping, if I can
- 4:14Speaker 4: put it that way, I wish you would slapping.
- 4:16Speaker 3: We smashed them seven to two to seal our third
- 4:22Speaker 3: victory in the well third consecutive victory in the America's Cup.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Hellever Is got and just glued to it, Yes, absolutely
- 4:29Speaker 3: glued to it then, of course, and this was somehow
- 4:33Speaker 3: this flew under the radar. Pigs and I don't know
- 4:35Speaker 3: how that happened to be honest with your mate. Oh yeah,
- 4:37Speaker 3: but the Constellation Cup, the Silver Ferns are playing Australia.
- 4:40Speaker 3: We didn't just beat the Australian Those Aussie bases lines, scumbags,
- 4:45Speaker 3: pump them sixty four point fifty?
- 4:47Speaker 4: Are slapping you like that?
- 4:50Speaker 5: Well, are slapping?
- 4:51Speaker 3: Do you pigs?
- 4:52Speaker 4: Yeah? Man, good, it doesn't surprise me at all. Your massive.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Focus. The White Ferns. Oh now, they lost ten games
- 5:04Speaker 3: on the trot leading into this World Cup. They're written
- 5:07Speaker 3: off by all in Sundry, including you, Jayson, Yes, including me.
- 5:12Speaker 3: To be fair to them, they were terrible. They were
- 5:14Speaker 3: woeful for probably a couple of years, and it was
- 5:19Speaker 3: difficult to watch them play, Yes, it was. Gave them
- 5:21Speaker 3: absolutely no chance, and yet they managed to win the
- 5:24Speaker 3: first World Cup in the history of New Zealand, a
- 5:26Speaker 3: T twenty World Cup, in this case defeating South Africa,
- 5:30Speaker 3: which I'm absolute bloody thrilled about. Taking another loss to
- 5:32Speaker 3: South Africa would have really sent me into a spiral.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Yes, I was glued to that whole tournament. Man.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Oh it was good man, it was unreal. And then,
- 5:41Speaker 3: of course the Black Caps was justly a third victory
- 5:45Speaker 3: on Indian soil in the Test match. There we got
- 5:49Speaker 3: the Indians out for the lowest score ever actually the
- 5:51Speaker 3: OLDLA score ever in Asia at all across the board Pakistan,
- 5:55Speaker 3: you namer any uae forty six. They were out in
- 5:59Speaker 3: that first difficult to come back from the air, of course,
- 6:01Speaker 3: but they nearly did.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Yeah, they nearly did that. That Test match, for cricket
- 6:06Speaker 4: lovers was cricket erotica.
- 6:08Speaker 3: It was I.
- 6:10Speaker 4: And I must admit to a certain level of surely
- 6:14Speaker 4: we can't lose the Test Test match. After we bowl
- 6:16Speaker 4: them out for forty odd, we get four hundred, they
- 6:20Speaker 4: get four hundred odd and get a lead of a
- 6:22Speaker 4: hundi and seven. Yeah, and I'm thinking, now, come on now.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Well nothing, But I didn't feel like it was in
- 6:28Speaker 3: the bag by any stretch of the imagination, particularly when
- 6:31Speaker 3: Latham goes out second ball. Yes, Bombra was absolutely on fire.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Devon Conway looked all at sea. But the great thing
- 6:38Speaker 3: about Devin Conway, while he looked amateurish like it, never
- 6:42Speaker 3: held a cricket bat in his life. Sure he ate
- 6:44Speaker 3: up about five or six overs of Bombra, which is
- 6:47Speaker 3: a good thing.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Well, I tell you what. Boomera on day five and
- 6:51Speaker 4: India not a good proposition feels not good? But what
- 6:55Speaker 4: were we going to do? What did you call it?
- 6:56Speaker 4: The parks on like a subscription bubble.
- 7:00Speaker 5: Subscription service man, subscribed channel suet.
- 7:03Speaker 2: No, So what I want you to do is give
- 7:05Speaker 2: us a text on three for eight three what you
- 7:06Speaker 2: think the sport of the weekend was. Also, I'm going
- 7:09Speaker 2: to put a submission box up on the Dache Big
- 7:12Speaker 2: Show Instagram story there under the big Pole. So it's
- 7:15Speaker 2: not necessarily voting for an option. It's more just you
- 7:18Speaker 2: tell us what your sport was from the weekend. And
- 7:21Speaker 2: of course, as always we've got toy Price packs to
- 7:23Speaker 2: give away from UK. Everybody who submits over Instagram or
- 7:26Speaker 2: over three for eight three or over the iHeartRadio talkback function,
- 7:29Speaker 2: you will go in the draw for one of those
- 7:30Speaker 2: toy Price packs.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Good stuff, Pugs. We'll give you our opinions. Next. I
- 7:35Speaker 4: think I know where you're going, Megie. Yeah, here's the Pixies.
- 7:41Speaker 1: The Hdichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 7:44Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hurdichy Foo Fighters.
- 7:47Speaker 4: There. I I was a bit early. There is a
- 7:49Speaker 4: bit pretty ejaculative, wasn't I feels now we asked on
- 7:54Speaker 4: the Big Show, Big Poll today, what was your sporting
- 7:57Speaker 4: highlight of the weekend? Megie, what's the tech machine telling us?
- 8:00Speaker 4: On three four.
- 8:01Speaker 3: As give me your same mate? It's lighting up over
- 8:04Speaker 3: here and they are pouring, and well, of course we
- 8:07Speaker 3: forgot Formula one. Liam Lawson, Oh yeah, who did bloody
- 8:12Speaker 3: well but then got a penalty and I think he
- 8:13Speaker 3: got put back to nineteenth or twentieth and the you know,
- 8:16Speaker 3: on the grid they call it Jase. I don't know
- 8:17Speaker 3: if you know your Formula one brother, but.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Yeah, week we called it something different when I was driving,
- 8:22Speaker 4: But yeah, what'd.
- 8:22Speaker 3: You call it?
- 8:23Speaker 4: Paddon? Huh?
- 8:25Speaker 3: They call it the grid anyway. He climbed up and
- 8:28Speaker 3: finished the ninth, which is pretty pretty bloody good man. Yeah,
- 8:31Speaker 3: I mean, I hate Formula one. I couldn't kill less.
- 8:34Speaker 3: But there's only what, however many drivers around the world,
- 8:37Speaker 3: it's say twenty four. Sure he's one of them. Sure,
- 8:39Speaker 3: it's bloody it's an amazing achievement, Liam Lawson, I think, yeah,
- 8:43Speaker 3: ahead of them. No, No, he's a Formula one driver.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Oh right, okay, nice sweet. So that's one person there.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Another one of these sticks that have come through on three,
- 8:53Speaker 3: four eight three and by all means keep them coming, yes,
- 8:55Speaker 3: and also a talkbacks there through the Ihart Radio where
- 8:58Speaker 3: at pegs on. All right, I want you to keep
- 8:59Speaker 3: on chair opinion.
- 9:00Speaker 2: That Tilly Prize packs to give away as well if
- 9:02Speaker 2: you get yourself in there.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Good on ye Now Tiam's Valley winning the Heartland over
- 9:05Speaker 3: the weekend Heartland Rugby. Haggeb was there.
- 9:07Speaker 4: That's so good, Mad, it's glued to the screen.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Yeah. I wanted to have a chat to you, just
- 9:11Speaker 3: as on a side there is about how do we
- 9:13Speaker 3: feel about the America's Cup Because obviously it's an incredible victory.
- 9:16Speaker 3: It has been a part of New Zealand culture Kiwi
- 9:20Speaker 3: culture since I was a kid and they were punishing
- 9:24Speaker 3: us in Fremantle and Casey and seven and all of
- 9:26Speaker 3: that sort of stuff. It's been a long time and
- 9:28Speaker 3: we've won three in a row now, so I wonder
- 9:31Speaker 3: if it's lost a little bit bit of value also
- 9:33Speaker 3: the fact that they don't have it here. I mean,
- 9:34Speaker 3: what's your how have you enjoyed Let's start there.
- 9:37Speaker 4: Okay, I'll start with how I've enjoyed it. I've been
- 9:41Speaker 4: riveted and I'm going to be honest with you, I
- 9:43Speaker 4: hate sailing. Yeah, I'm more of your surfer guy. Sure,
- 9:48Speaker 4: your knee boarding and all that sort of stuff, sort
- 9:50Speaker 4: of sailing in and of itself, guys.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Sort of like bikini competitions and stuff that's more your
- 9:57Speaker 3: your fame.
- 9:58Speaker 4: But yeah, yeah, I'm more of a sort of relax, surfy,
- 10:00Speaker 4: knee boarding kind of guy. Seriously, every morning, Hoody j
- 10:04Speaker 4: would get up, have a darry get mccaffee there, go
- 10:09Speaker 4: out into the porch and watch the America's Cup. And
- 10:12Speaker 4: I was riveted on the porch. I was riveted by
- 10:15Speaker 4: the America's Cup. And I don't know why, quite genuinely
- 10:18Speaker 4: because I hate sailing, but just something about the magnificence.
- 10:23Speaker 4: We talk about Formula one, It's Formula one on the water.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Those boats just honing through the water. I just loved it.
- 10:30Speaker 4: And there was a bit of controversy. I was reading
- 10:33Speaker 4: an article, you know how Enniospitannia came back and won
- 10:36Speaker 4: two races. Apparently the story goes the rumor goes that
- 10:41Speaker 4: the sponsors went a up team New Zealand. This is
- 10:44Speaker 4: going way too fast. You guys need to check a
- 10:47Speaker 4: couple here, because otherwise it's going to look really bad
- 10:50Speaker 4: and we will extended out. I don't know whether that's
- 10:53Speaker 4: true or not, but we were certainly dominant. I was
- 10:55Speaker 4: filthy that they talk with the buff Lana. I want
- 10:59Speaker 4: it back home. I want to hear. I want to
- 11:02Speaker 4: be able to go down to the harbor and after
- 11:04Speaker 4: a bit of surfing watch the sailing mogie.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Exactly I do. And I think I feel the same
- 11:08Speaker 3: way as well, because I'm very I'm very happy for them. Yes,
- 11:11Speaker 3: there's a lot of Keywis involved, as you know, Grant
- 11:14Speaker 3: Dalton and Peter Berlin and old mate a bleed Chuke
- 11:17Speaker 3: there as well. How good, I mean, all three of them.
- 11:20Speaker 3: You want to kick any of them out of bed?
- 11:22Speaker 4: I've actually that's true. I'd go three ways absolutely well.
- 11:26Speaker 3: That's yeah. I mean, yeah, you'd fill your boot sets
- 11:29Speaker 3: for sure. But there's a lot of Keywi's doing wonderful
- 11:32Speaker 3: things overseas, and I'm not sure that that means that
- 11:34Speaker 3: they're doing it for all New Zealand. And you call you,
- 11:37Speaker 3: you call the thing team New Zealand. But is it,
- 11:39Speaker 3: I mean, what makes it? I'm just I don't really
- 11:41Speaker 3: see the connection, to be honest with you. Yeah, yes,
- 11:43Speaker 3: same and if they came back here, I think that
- 11:44Speaker 3: would certainly help because it's you know, it's the middle
- 11:48Speaker 3: of the night in another country, so it was hard.
- 11:50Speaker 3: So I certainly didn't feel America's Cup fever as I
- 11:53Speaker 3: was walking up and down the street. I don't have
- 11:55Speaker 3: people stop me asking me if I was watching the
- 11:57Speaker 3: America's Cup.
- 11:58Speaker 4: J Yeah, well, you know, neither. But then again, I
- 12:01Speaker 4: didn't leave my house, no, true, you know what I mean.
- 12:03Speaker 4: I just punched Darries all day, and you know I
- 12:05Speaker 4: had coffees and stuff like that. Yeah, as well as
- 12:08Speaker 4: you know the white fans. How good the whole Yeah,
- 12:12Speaker 4: Woman's t twenty.
- 12:13Speaker 3: So you got up and watched that.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Pardon They Big Show podcast is indeed live there on
- 12:20Speaker 4: the radio Darchy Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time
- 12:24Speaker 4: is four thirty six for those of you just joining us.
- 12:26Speaker 4: By the way, apparently Keys is away in Sydney at
- 12:29Speaker 4: the moment to Wednesday. Yeah, didn't ask me for permission,
- 12:34Speaker 4: slack ass.
- 12:35Speaker 3: I just got a text through here, jas. Yeah. Man,
- 12:38Speaker 3: just been talking about the sports, haven't we Yeah, the
- 12:40Speaker 3: best match up of the weekend. Oh no, sorry, sporting
- 12:42Speaker 3: the highlight. Firstly, marching is a Sport Empire Seniors won
- 12:46Speaker 3: their first competition of the season. How good.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Oh seriously, man, is.
- 12:51Speaker 3: There anything better? Man?
- 12:53Speaker 4: I mean, other than everything. The funny thing is there, Maggie.
- 12:57Speaker 4: You know when you and I used to march, we did.
- 13:02Speaker 4: I think it was that one of the happiest times
- 13:04Speaker 4: of my life, being part of a marching team.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Yeah. It's organized, isn't it.
- 13:08Speaker 4: I've still got my hat, yes, you know, my marching
- 13:11Speaker 4: hat with a big feather coming out the top of it.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:14Speaker 4: You still got your big drum there.
- 13:16Speaker 3: I did. I used to beat the drum, keep the time,
- 13:20Speaker 3: five six seven, all of that sort of stuff, post
- 13:23Speaker 3: some musical jag and yeah, we did some pretty amazing things,
- 13:28Speaker 3: both in New Zealand and only in New Zealand next week.
- 13:31Speaker 3: It's the only place in the world where people do
- 13:32Speaker 3: it because it's that good. Yeah, man, it's that good.
- 13:36Speaker 4: I tell you what.
- 13:37Speaker 3: You know, I.
- 13:41Speaker 4: Was the baton guy that did the toiling baton at
- 13:45Speaker 4: the front of it, you know. And I often talk
- 13:48Speaker 4: about my routing days.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Yeah that's true.
- 13:52Speaker 4: And I tell you what, during my marching, my marching days,
- 13:58Speaker 4: poh with hold Hoyt twirling his baton.
- 14:02Speaker 3: I'll tell you what. And it was a bloody tragedy. Jason.
- 14:04Speaker 3: I hate to bring it up because I know that
- 14:06Speaker 3: it still still affects you, it affects me. I was there, sure,
- 14:11Speaker 3: but we got into the finals there at the Nationals,
- 14:13Speaker 3: represented hot A, Fenua, Kapati and Hoidy. Jay's finale was
- 14:19Speaker 3: he would throw his baton into the air and sort
- 14:22Speaker 3: of captured around his back and then stop on one
- 14:24Speaker 3: foot and everyone would come to attention. Right, bloody beautiful
- 14:28Speaker 3: it was. And he threw it up in the air
- 14:30Speaker 3: and he tripped and landed on his stomach with his
- 14:36Speaker 3: botox pointing towards the sky and lum behold if the
- 14:38Speaker 3: baton didn't come down land directly in his anus, won.
- 14:44Speaker 4: Us the competition, though, didn't it.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Hidarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kisey.
- 14:50Speaker 4: He's indeed Metallita there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 14:54Speaker 4: this Monday afternoon. The time is four forty nine. I
- 14:57Speaker 4: tell you what, Magie, looking outside them, it's a glorious
- 15:01Speaker 4: spring day. And it was nice to to. I mean,
- 15:04Speaker 4: I missed you fellas. Yeah, you know, I had to
- 15:07Speaker 4: get you know, I went away for a week and
- 15:09Speaker 4: did a bit of hunting and fishing, which was really nice.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Did a bit of snorkeling, did a bit of surfing,
- 15:16Speaker 4: which is good. Geez. Tell you what, I haven't surfed
- 15:19Speaker 4: for a while old because I'm a knee border, as
- 15:22Speaker 4: most people will probably know out there, and the old
- 15:24Speaker 4: the old knees aren't quite what they used to be.
- 15:27Speaker 2: So you surfed instead, what huh?
- 15:32Speaker 4: So it was really nice. And then spend a bit
- 15:35Speaker 4: of time at home and a lot of love making, yes,
- 15:40Speaker 4: a lot of dirry smoking, a lot of sport watching.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Do you spend most of your time on your side?
- 15:47Speaker 4: Actually I spent so much time on my side that
- 15:51Speaker 4: I got like a bruise on my hip.
- 15:54Speaker 3: They call them bed saw Yeah, well it's kind of
- 15:56Speaker 3: like a bead saw ah.
- 15:58Speaker 4: And I was sort of hobbling all over the place.
- 16:01Speaker 4: And then I went up to beautiful Mungafi for the weekend,
- 16:04Speaker 4: which was really really nice. And you know, as I
- 16:08Speaker 4: mentioned in our podcast earlier, I'm at that age now
- 16:11Speaker 4: where I'm approaching death and it's really important that when
- 16:15Speaker 4: you get a bit of time out that you really
- 16:17Speaker 4: make use of it, you know what I'm saying.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Racing towards death.
- 16:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel like I'm racing towards death. Yeah, for sure.
- 16:28Speaker 3: But that's okay.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Yeah. I mean, look, I've had a good life now,
- 16:36Speaker 4: I mean I've achieved some great things.
- 16:39Speaker 3: You stayed alive this long man, that's for sure. Well,
- 16:41Speaker 3: that's right, you know.
- 16:42Speaker 4: And actually, I'll be honest, what I did was mostly
- 16:45Speaker 4: watch TV, smoke darries, and drink coffee.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Yes, and that was about app And did you catch
- 16:51Speaker 3: anything when you're out fishing?
- 16:53Speaker 4: Man?
- 16:53Speaker 3: What'd you catch?
- 16:53Speaker 4: Yes? I caught a shit ton of fish. And I
- 16:57Speaker 4: saw you guys posting some of the fish on the Instagram.
- 17:00Speaker 4: There the old undersized fish. And you know a lot
- 17:04Speaker 4: of people bag people for catching undersized fish, yeah, and
- 17:09Speaker 4: not throwing them back. Why would you?
- 17:11Speaker 3: Is my point?
- 17:12Speaker 4: Because I'm a I'm a big sushi sashimi nagari fan.
- 17:18Speaker 4: And those little ten centimeter fifteen centame snappers beautiful and
- 17:23Speaker 4: perfect for you know what I'm saying, beautiful tender meat.
- 17:28Speaker 4: I did do a bit of hunting pheasant quail. What
- 17:31Speaker 4: else did I get our seal? But I don't know? Yeah?
- 17:37Speaker 4: No not the singer is he still going? Incidentally?
- 17:40Speaker 3: Oh yeah? Um? So use machine man and a sex
- 17:45Speaker 3: machine machine.
- 17:48Speaker 4: But you know, I didn't need any of that stuff
- 17:49Speaker 4: because I'm not into birds, and no, I would never
- 17:52Speaker 4: eat a bird in myne.
- 17:53Speaker 3: You'll find often that a fill catt will come and
- 17:55Speaker 3: eat those. Yeah, just sort of you know, you shoot
- 17:58Speaker 3: them or you run them over the car or whatever
- 17:59Speaker 3: it be, and then the cats will find them and
- 18:01Speaker 3: sort of drag them away. And totally what I do
- 18:04Speaker 3: is I just put it's the circle of life.
- 18:06Speaker 4: I just build a pile of corpses and just you know,
- 18:11Speaker 4: it's like fill your boots. It's like for all the
- 18:13Speaker 4: other wild reaches out there, it's like a buffet. Just
- 18:17Speaker 4: help yourself. There's a bit of seal there, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 18:19Speaker 4: there's a bit of quail, there's a bit of dolphin.
- 18:22Speaker 4: You know, just fill your boots. Few undersized snappies. Good times, mate,
- 18:27Speaker 4: but I haven't said that. It's great to be back
- 18:30Speaker 4: with you, feels.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Oh it's bloody marvelous mate, and ye yeah yeah.
- 18:34Speaker 4: When are you going to.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Not till December? Not I've got a long way to go.
- 18:40Speaker 3: It'll be about seven months since I've had a break.
- 18:42Speaker 3: And I'll tell you I'm rooted man.

- 20:13Speaker 4: Too good.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Hey as the self reclaimed a reverend voice of the
- 20:17Speaker 2: nation too he reckons the world's gone a little too serious.
- 20:20Speaker 5: Yeah, right o, fellas.
- 20:22Speaker 3: We've been having some issues with the read on that
- 20:24Speaker 3: last week with Keesy, but old pug Sons just walked
- 20:27Speaker 3: in and just nailed it like that.
- 20:29Speaker 5: Yeah, that's how you do it, man.
- 20:30Speaker 3: I don't even feel like a liner does. It Just
- 20:32Speaker 3: feels like a bit of chat with the boys.
- 20:34Speaker 5: Very conversational.
- 20:35Speaker 3: I felt very float.
- 20:38Speaker 4: Through you to Pugsign, who's just your if you've just
- 20:43Speaker 4: joined us, you had a good weekend?
- 20:47Speaker 3: Just did you have a good weekend or not?

- 21:02Speaker 4: coming up very shortly. I've what an apology to make.
- 21:05Speaker 4: It's something that's been bugging me over this last sort
- 21:08Speaker 4: of week or so that I it's very poor of me,
- 21:12Speaker 4: and I want to address it after the next couple
- 21:15Speaker 4: of tunes. Can't mind Me Folk, Lenny how Good.
- 21:20Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kithy.
- 21:25Speaker 4: Use indeed the Red Hot Chili Peppers there on the
- 21:28Speaker 4: radio Hodarky Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is
- 21:31Speaker 4: fourteen minutes past five. And fellas, something's been bugging me
- 21:36Speaker 4: over this last.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Week, has been bugging it.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Yeah, man, But anyway, anyway, you know, I like to
- 21:46Speaker 4: think in this show we were mates.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Yes, to a degree.
- 21:50Speaker 4: We care about each other. You know, if one of
- 21:54Speaker 4: us is down, the team lifts the other. You know,
- 21:57Speaker 4: people up. Yeah, you know, we enjoy each other's company
- 22:02Speaker 4: and all that sort of.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Stuff, and YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 22:04Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, but actually you can know the apology
- 22:08Speaker 4: music please, pug shunt. There's a very special person and
- 22:15Speaker 4: the Big Show, and I often make reference to his
- 22:20Speaker 4: looks and austellion he is. And tell you what, nothing
- 22:26Speaker 4: much has changed in the week that I've been away.
- 22:27Speaker 4: In fact, it's just got better. Talk about an eye full,
- 22:31Speaker 4: bloody muscles popping out all over the bloody place, the
- 22:36Speaker 4: bulbous veins, type buns, massive thighs. Actually he's obviously done
- 22:42Speaker 4: some leg work. But while I was away, it was
- 22:46Speaker 4: a very special day for one member of the Big Show. Sunday,
- 22:51Speaker 4: I think it was, yeah, Sunday. And you know, I
- 22:55Speaker 4: want the audience out there to know that we're always
- 22:57Speaker 4: in touch with each other even when we're not doing
- 22:59Speaker 4: the show. It's true, you know what I mean, always
- 23:01Speaker 4: banging on old pugsun telling us as adventures over the weekends.
- 23:08Speaker 3: You just keep focus.
- 23:10Speaker 4: But it was your birthday, Mogi.
- 23:12Speaker 3: It was.
- 23:13Speaker 4: And when I got eight years young. Yeah, well this
- 23:17Speaker 4: is the other thing. I mean, you're hurtling towards death.
- 23:22Speaker 4: You're waiting right into stroke, heart attack territory. I am,
- 23:26Speaker 4: you know what I mean, And so it was your birthday,
- 23:29Speaker 4: and so now I believe you were in Queenstown. If
- 23:31Speaker 4: I was not mistaken, you know, I was going through
- 23:34Speaker 4: my messages and stuff the other day and I went, oh,
- 23:37Speaker 4: my god, I didn't message Mogi or anything for his birthday.
- 23:42Speaker 4: I don't send him a gift.
- 23:44Speaker 3: I didn't do anything, did you not?
- 23:47Speaker 4: And I said to my wife, I forgot to wish
- 23:50Speaker 4: old Mogie happy birthday. And she said, seriously, she said
- 23:55Speaker 4: she had.
- 23:56Speaker 3: She went into some detail, did she. Yeah, she hit
- 24:01Speaker 3: me up on instant, did she she did?
- 24:04Speaker 4: Yeah? Okay, Well, I so I just want to say
- 24:08Speaker 4: mate that happy birthday, no thank you, And I felt
- 24:12Speaker 4: really bad that I didn't do it on the day
- 24:15Speaker 4: and tell you what the gift I've got you, Prema,
- 24:19Speaker 4: is it really? It's just taking a while to get here. Sure,
- 24:22Speaker 4: sure it's coming from overseas. And apparently there's sort of
- 24:26Speaker 4: what do you call it chain sort of situation. What's
- 24:30Speaker 4: that phrase called?
- 24:31Speaker 3: Economically It's hard to know.
- 24:35Speaker 4: Yeah, just transporting issues, just.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Logistical issue.
- 24:39Speaker 4: I just I just wanted to say, mates, I hope
- 24:41Speaker 4: you had a special day, and my bad for not
- 24:45Speaker 4: actually saying it on the day.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Well, I've just gone back to well you've been running
- 24:50Speaker 3: your yap there. I've just gone back into the what
- 24:53Speaker 3: what's that? Christopher key. That's keazy. As you guys know.
- 24:57Speaker 3: He startled off on at ten thirty in the morning,
- 25:01Speaker 3: Happy birthday, Margie. So that was quite good. Yeah, it's nice.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Then Pugs, James, Pugsy that you've come in. That's me.
- 25:10Speaker 4: Yeah, go on thet.
- 25:13Speaker 3: So that was two minutes later you said happy birthday
- 25:17Speaker 3: exclamation point, exclamation point. Yeah, not bad, sort of lacked
- 25:21Speaker 3: a bit of personal touch.
- 25:22Speaker 5: But oh you didn't like the video I made for
- 25:24Speaker 5: it was you didn't like that?
- 25:25Speaker 3: That was just while I'm talking here, Pugs. And then
- 25:30Speaker 3: Jas you came in one minute later and you said indeed,
- 25:33Speaker 3: old chum, oh I did, And then you gave me
- 25:36Speaker 3: a love heart, which I thought was going a bit
- 25:38Speaker 3: far actually, so I deleted that.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Oh sh Underworld, turn it up.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Hoedarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and.
- 25:53Speaker 4: Kisey Yes indeed, Kings of Leon there on the radio.
- 25:57Speaker 4: Hoed Archy Big Show this Monday afternoon. Is your sex
- 25:59Speaker 4: on fire?
- 26:00Speaker 3: Major It has been on occasion, but with the right
- 26:03Speaker 3: prescription drugs. The Pug saying you're going to be all good?
- 26:06Speaker 3: All right, brother?
- 26:06Speaker 2: Oh me?
- 26:08Speaker 4: Yeah good? Hey if your sex is on fire and
- 26:12Speaker 4: it's been on far for some time. Has has the
- 26:15Speaker 4: burning romance in your life? Maybe it's time for you
- 26:18Speaker 4: to bend the knee and make that special proposal to
- 26:23Speaker 4: that special person in your life. Because the good bastards
- 26:27Speaker 4: at Diamonds on Richmond have given us a ten thousand
- 26:32Speaker 4: dollars engagement.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Changed yea ten million dollar rare?
- 26:38Speaker 4: Is it ten million?
- 26:39Speaker 3: Now?
- 26:39Speaker 4: Wow?
- 26:40Speaker 3: You about that, Pug?
- 26:41Speaker 5: Holy smokes, I didn't hear about that.
- 26:43Speaker 4: Okay, Well, even more incentive there, moogi. Can you imagine,
- 26:49Speaker 4: you know, maybe if you were like me, it took
- 26:51Speaker 4: me about fourteen years to propose.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Yes, is that true?
- 26:58Speaker 4: Could you tell me? Because you seem to know.
- 27:00Speaker 3: I don't think so. I think it was pretty early
- 27:02Speaker 3: days because you were I remember when you proposed, I
- 27:07Speaker 3: remember how you proposed and what the situation was. And
- 27:10Speaker 3: I don't imagine that situation would have happened after fourteen
- 27:13Speaker 3: years into the relationship. Do you know what I'm saying?
- 27:16Speaker 4: It's probably about ten years.
- 27:18Speaker 3: I proposed one year into the relationship with my now wife.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Yet you straightway I did.
- 27:25Speaker 3: I knew very early on, Pegs, very early on, I
- 27:27Speaker 3: don't doubt, And it was just a matter of line
- 27:30Speaker 3: and making her think that I was something that I
- 27:32Speaker 3: wasn't someone that she'd wanted to start a family, wor
- 27:35Speaker 3: spend the rest of her life with, and just trying
- 27:37Speaker 3: to trick her, you know, just enough, just to get
- 27:40Speaker 3: her over the line there, because the longer you leave
- 27:42Speaker 3: at Pegs and a lot of people don't know this,
- 27:44Speaker 3: the more likely she is to find out your deceptions.
- 27:47Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, exactly. There will be a moment or he
- 27:50Speaker 4: he or they go hang about. Yeah, you know, it's
- 27:54Speaker 4: like fourteen years and hang.
- 27:56Speaker 3: About, and there's something about a woman's intuition or a
- 27:59Speaker 3: men's years where at some point they just think to themselves, hmmm,
- 28:04Speaker 3: something go oir and up here.
- 28:05Speaker 4: Brother me think something is amiss.
- 28:08Speaker 3: That's right. So the trick is to get the old
- 28:11Speaker 3: ten thousand dollars ring on their fingers.
- 28:17Speaker 4: Yeah. Now a few people have been sending in their
- 28:20Speaker 4: proposal ideas on well, I don't know what it's on. Actually,
- 28:23Speaker 4: what is it on?
- 28:25Speaker 5: Yeah? No, dot co, dot NZ.
- 28:28Speaker 2: They can into that there and you know, send us
- 28:30Speaker 2: a little bit of an idea of what they.
- 28:31Speaker 5: Might be planning, and we might be able to help
- 28:33Speaker 5: them out as well.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Fellas great like this person here says she's a road ranger,
- 28:37Speaker 2: so maybe I'll drive crazy in front of her then
- 28:39Speaker 2: hold up a sign or something.
- 28:41Speaker 5: It's creative.
- 28:42Speaker 4: Yeah. I should should point out too that the picture
- 28:45Speaker 4: will be a part of it if you want us to.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Yes, only if they want us to. I think they
- 28:51Speaker 3: should be forced to help us involved, whether they like
- 28:53Speaker 3: it or not.
- 28:54Speaker 4: That's true.
- 28:54Speaker 3: It adds a certain danger and risk to the whole thing.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 29:00Speaker 3: I quite like imagine if you know it's a love
- 29:02Speaker 3: of your life, you're looking forward to proposing, You've got
- 29:04Speaker 3: this perfect ring, ten million dollars worth, and we somehow
- 29:09Speaker 3: bugger it up for you.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Yes, Well, in that scenario, one of you could be
- 29:12Speaker 2: driving and then the other guy could hold up the
- 29:15Speaker 2: sign saying will you marry me?
- 29:16Speaker 3: Sure?
- 29:16Speaker 4: You know we had a run of about seven proposals
- 29:19Speaker 4: where the big show jumps out of bushes saying backbone.
- 29:23Speaker 3: Yeah. But I think if maybe there is something and
- 29:28Speaker 3: that could just be the universal thing we do they
- 29:30Speaker 3: propose so we're not involved in it. Sure, if the
- 29:33Speaker 3: person says yes, we jump out of a bush and say.
- 29:36Speaker 4: Backbone right, yeah, they say no.
- 29:39Speaker 3: We're pretty inclusive with the backbone, aren't we so maybe
- 29:42Speaker 3: it's still be the same result.
- 29:43Speaker 4: I think. So what else you got there, pug Son
- 29:46Speaker 4: in Dunedin.
- 29:47Speaker 2: This person plans to propose at the University of Otago,
- 29:49Speaker 2: that's where we met seventeen years ago. Get all our
- 29:53Speaker 2: mates together for a weekend stage a party on Great
- 29:55Speaker 2: King Street in front of one of our old flats,
- 29:58Speaker 2: and I'll drop the knee.
- 30:00Speaker 3: That's Ryan. Sounds like you need to let go of
- 30:01Speaker 3: your past here, man. Hey, yeah, so weird about that.
- 30:07Speaker 4: We'll keep those proposals coming in and you could win
- 30:11Speaker 4: that ten thousand dollars in Gay ten million apparently ten million. Jeez,
- 30:15Speaker 4: It's amazing how much it's changed since I've been away.
- 30:18Speaker 5: It's fluctuating, I'll say that for sure.
- 30:20Speaker 1: She had Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 30:24Speaker 4: And Kisy David Bowie there on the radio Hot Argy
- 30:28Speaker 4: Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is five fifty two. Incidentally, Mugie,
- 30:32Speaker 4: regarding your birthday weekend, because of course I was away
- 30:35Speaker 4: last weekend. Good weekend, was it?
- 30:36Speaker 3: It was an amazing weekend, very very relaxing. Jason.
- 30:39Speaker 4: Yes, does your wife surprised you because that was the
- 30:43Speaker 4: whole thing, wasn't it?
- 30:44Speaker 3: Or was that my imagination surprized me? No, not really, right,
- 30:48Speaker 3: make sure she did tell me a story. She just
- 30:50Speaker 3: surprised me with that one. Right, as good as when
- 30:52Speaker 3: you sit down and you have a yarn. And we
- 30:56Speaker 3: did a good solid twelve or thirty hours drinking. Her
- 30:58Speaker 3: and I that day got to be responsibly, of course,
- 31:03Speaker 3: and then got to be at about four o'clock in
- 31:06Speaker 3: the morning, and then had to get up with a kid. Forgot.
- 31:09Speaker 3: We had a kid, forgot, We had flights, forgot. I
- 31:11Speaker 3: had radio that day. But yeah, I had a ball, Yes,
- 31:15Speaker 3: had a bloody ball.
- 31:16Speaker 4: Oh, it would have been nice to have been down.
- 31:17Speaker 4: Did you have a spar or anything like that?
- 31:18Speaker 3: Don't have a spa, mate, Yes, it was good, I
- 31:21Speaker 3: tell you what. And at one point, Jace, I went
- 31:23Speaker 3: outside to check that my daughter's ranch slide. The door
- 31:25Speaker 3: was locked in the middle of the night. Because I'm
- 31:27Speaker 3: always worried about those sorts of things. I didn't want
- 31:29Speaker 3: to wake her up, so I went outside. I went outside,
- 31:33Speaker 3: and they had a camera on the outside to make
- 31:35Speaker 3: sure you didn't have too many visitors, and it was
- 31:36Speaker 3: activated by a motion sense or sure and I went
- 31:40Speaker 3: running towards it and just stark Bollock naked with probably
- 31:45Speaker 3: a point three seven to point six eight raga.
- 31:51Speaker 4: Right, okay, because I I don't know if you've noticed this,
- 31:55Speaker 4: pug Son, but I'm noticing the theme with you being outside.
- 32:00Speaker 3: Nud a lot me.
- 32:01Speaker 4: Yeah with the rubbish sky. Yes, there's another scenario with
- 32:06Speaker 4: you outside nude.
- 32:07Speaker 2: And I was like, okay, guys making the noise yes
- 32:10Speaker 2: over the road.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Oh yeah, wow. Yeah. Well the thing about it is
- 32:15Speaker 3: if it happens at night and I have to get up,
- 32:17Speaker 3: then I'm naked. I'm always naked. That's just how it is.
- 32:19Speaker 3: So there was a party of the road. I went
- 32:20Speaker 3: outside just to see what was going on, just to
- 32:24Speaker 3: check what I could do. Sure, do I have to
- 32:26Speaker 3: worry about these guys or can I smash them all?
- 32:29Speaker 3: Because it was about four o'clock in the morning at
- 32:30Speaker 3: that point, of course, I went outside in the sense
- 32:32Speaker 3: or our sense of light went off and spotlighted me.
- 32:35Speaker 4: On the front porch and there he was and all
- 32:38Speaker 4: his glory. Yeah, pretty good. No, it's good to hear,
- 32:41Speaker 4: make good to hear. Now, listen, we did the Big Show,
- 32:43Speaker 4: Big Poll today. Earlier in the show. What was your
- 32:46Speaker 4: sporting event of the weekend? Is so much New Zealand
- 32:49Speaker 4: success across the board, the White Ferns, the Black Caps,
- 32:53Speaker 4: the America's Cup, the Constellation Cup, all of and the
- 32:58Speaker 4: Lima Liam Laws and from Formula one. So we'll be
- 33:02Speaker 4: having a look at that and of course, as always
- 33:04Speaker 4: what's on the TV with Me Miken.
- 33:09Speaker 1: The whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on radio.
- 33:15Speaker 4: Hold Ike, welcome back your massive backbones. Hope you're getting
- 33:17Speaker 4: through your Monday tickety boo. You're listening to the Big show.
- 33:20Speaker 4: Board to you by two week Yeah, definitely in celebration
- 33:24Speaker 4: of a long great return. Thank you, Yes, say long awaited.
- 33:29Speaker 4: I suppose that words to return of the famous Towy billboards.
- 33:33Speaker 4: Yes they have you had any ideas, fellas in terms
- 33:36Speaker 4: of billboards on three four eight three while I've been
- 33:38Speaker 4: away that you can.
- 33:39Speaker 3: Recall or nothing immediately jumping to mind, there's a lot.
- 33:43Speaker 5: Of there's a lobby can't say on end, there's a
- 33:46Speaker 5: lot of.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Filth, Jase if I could say that means but yeah,
- 33:49Speaker 3: people are certainly making an effort and we've probably put
- 33:53Speaker 3: up how many would you say I have gone up
- 33:54Speaker 3: the flagpole? There? Probably about eight hundred and nine hundred.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Almost too many account at this point I can count it,
- 34:00Speaker 2: but it gets pretty tough from there.
- 34:01Speaker 4: Hey, talking of filth and the podcast outra today we
- 34:06Speaker 4: were kind of focused on old Pugsan's weekend and because
- 34:12Speaker 4: Pugs and I'll let the people know out there is
- 34:14Speaker 4: actually in charge of the little clip we're about to play.
- 34:16Speaker 4: So I'm hoping that it embodies Pugs the chat that
- 34:20Speaker 4: we had in the outro, because you've stitched me up
- 34:23Speaker 4: a few times of late.
- 34:25Speaker 5: This isn't a stitch. I man, this does embody the
- 34:27Speaker 5: podcast that we recorded in all.
- 34:28Speaker 4: Right, here we go. But yeah, I always find it
- 34:32Speaker 4: very distracting. And then I'll pause it while she's on
- 34:36Speaker 4: and I'll go, yeah I did that, Seriously, I can
- 34:39Speaker 4: find something else and she's like, no, no, no, serious,
- 34:42Speaker 4: I am watching.
- 34:43Speaker 2: You.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Used to be the same when I put a movie
- 34:44Speaker 3: on and people be talking in the room and pause it.
- 34:48Speaker 5: I'll let you finish.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Yeah, we could watch the movie, I guess.
- 34:51Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, talk about true talk about scooting past the
- 34:58Speaker 4: point there.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Good chat, wasn't it?
- 35:00Speaker 4: It was a really good check.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Can I just say most of the chat about my
- 35:03Speaker 2: weekend was being chatted by you about.
- 35:05Speaker 5: My own what you told us to tell you anything?
- 35:10Speaker 2: Jason also heavy geeze at our Instagram at Hodicky Big Show.
- 35:14Speaker 5: New video up now beautiful the.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Darky Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 35:20Speaker 4: And Kissy Lincoln Park there on the radio Hodaki Big Show.
- 35:25Speaker 4: But right now it's time for big Yes. Is previously
- 35:37Speaker 4: mentioned has been a massive, massive, humongous sporting weekend. So
- 35:42Speaker 4: we put it to you what for you? New Zealand
- 35:46Speaker 4: was a sporting event of the weekend.
- 35:50Speaker 3: Now we had a few, didn't we. We had the America's Cup. Yes,
- 35:53Speaker 3: we've been one for the third consecutive time team New Zealand.
- 35:56Speaker 3: There Hi the White Fern winning the T twenty World
- 36:01Speaker 3: Cup for the first time in the history for male
- 36:03Speaker 3: or female teams. Brilliant the black Caps winning on Indian
- 36:06Speaker 3: soil in the first test of a three tiers series,
- 36:09Speaker 3: only the third time in the history that we've done
- 36:12Speaker 3: so on Indian soil. You've got Liam Lawson who drives
- 36:15Speaker 3: around in a little kaka. Yeah, what can I ask?
- 36:19Speaker 4: What car? Car? He actually drives around.
- 36:21Speaker 3: Around the red Bull, but that infected as red Bull.
- 36:25Speaker 4: Okay.
- 36:25Speaker 3: Yeah, Australia got pounded by the silver Ferns sixty four
- 36:32Speaker 3: to fifty in the Constellation Cap, which I didn't see
- 36:34Speaker 3: it coming. We've been we've been not great in the
- 36:37Speaker 3: netball for some years now as well. So yeah, plenty
- 36:40Speaker 3: on and no doubt a lot we miss. There's a
- 36:41Speaker 3: lot of rugby on as well. Yeah, so it'd be
- 36:43Speaker 3: great to hear what's come through there. Bugs.
- 36:46Speaker 4: It's like it's like a resurgence of New Zealand sport.
- 36:49Speaker 5: Yeah, it's been huge.
- 36:50Speaker 2: There's actually been a lot of variety in the old
- 36:53Speaker 2: Instagram submission there at Hodicky Big Show.
- 36:55Speaker 5: If you want to get your taken do.
- 36:56Speaker 4: We want to guess here?
- 36:57Speaker 3: Magi you can, I've got nothing. I'm sort of I
- 37:00Speaker 3: can't think of anything else, right, Okay.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Then overwhelmingly it's going to Liam Lawson and his cucker.
- 37:08Speaker 3: Yeah right, Yeah.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Obviously there's a few in there for black caps, white
- 37:12Speaker 2: Ferns smashing twenty beers responsibly in the sun and Wanaka.
- 37:15Speaker 5: There's one here from mister Mike Minogue Pugs getting.
- 37:18Speaker 2: That Oh yeah, I won't say that, but largely it's
- 37:21Speaker 2: Lawson if one master class Liam Lawson being a massive
- 37:25Speaker 2: backbone at the us GP.
- 37:27Speaker 3: It's pretty amazing, and it's sort of an indicative of
- 37:32Speaker 3: a couple of things about New Zealander's One, by and
- 37:35Speaker 3: large they love their cars, true, but by and large
- 37:39Speaker 3: they do have you love ther Tita track I do.
- 37:42Speaker 3: I mean, that's definitely a track. But also there's that,
- 37:46Speaker 3: and then also that you can finish ninth ninth and
- 37:50Speaker 3: be regarded as the most successful Kiwi of the weekendite
- 37:55Speaker 3: multiple victories by other teams.
- 37:57Speaker 5: Also if one very very hot right now. Obviously Drive
- 38:00Speaker 5: to Survive on Netflix is blowing at the heck up.
- 38:02Speaker 3: So yeah, I've heard people talk about that series and say, God,
- 38:06Speaker 3: that series is blowing up. But I've never heard anybody
- 38:08Speaker 3: say I've watched it and I really like it. I've
- 38:10Speaker 3: heard people say, oh, you know, it's blown up, so
- 38:12Speaker 3: is it? I heard people say it is, you know.
- 38:15Speaker 4: And just very quickly, speaking of New Zealand sporting with surgeons,
- 38:19Speaker 4: you know, Chuck old Lydia Cohen, they're not this weekend
- 38:24Speaker 4: as well. It's just good times, good feels around feelings.
- 38:28Speaker 3: Yeah, what was your result of the weekend?
- 38:31Speaker 4: Oh, look, I think it's got to be a tie
- 38:34Speaker 4: between the White fans and the black Caps.
- 38:37Speaker 3: And I would probably agree, I tell you what, can
- 38:42Speaker 3: I be honest with you, man, sure if it was.
- 38:44Speaker 3: If it was, and this is my taste in sport,
- 38:48Speaker 3: not because it's females, all right. If it was a
- 38:52Speaker 3: fifty over World Cup and we won that final, it
- 38:56Speaker 3: would mean infinitely more to me than a T twenty
- 38:58Speaker 3: World Cup final, because I actually I don't like or
- 39:02Speaker 3: rate T twenty cricket.
- 39:04Speaker 4: Neither do I im to be here, and I've made
- 39:06Speaker 4: my thoughts on that very clear, but still a massive achievement.
- 39:09Speaker 3: And undoubtedly it is, but so that for me would
- 39:12Speaker 3: be like, oh, if it was that, then hid and
- 39:14Speaker 3: shoulders above it would be. It would be the one.
- 39:16Speaker 3: But I do have a soft spot in my heart
- 39:18Speaker 3: for the black Cats and that victory because that goes
- 39:21Speaker 3: back seventy odd years totally, then how good? But can
- 39:25Speaker 3: I just say yes, easily easily the White fans here
- 39:29Speaker 3: for me, and I'm disgusted that you even had to
- 39:31Speaker 3: pause there.
- 39:32Speaker 1: The Hilarchy big show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune.
- 39:36Speaker 4: In four on Radio Lucky Indeed a ce DC there
- 39:40Speaker 4: on the radio Hoedarchy Big Show this Monday evening. Let's
- 39:44Speaker 4: get into a bit of TV chat. What's on the
- 39:48Speaker 4: Telly with Mike Minogue. Yeah, you know what I'm reminded
- 40:11Speaker 4: of every time I do that. You know those lung
- 40:14Speaker 4: tests used to deal at the doctors. Yeah, I was
- 40:16Speaker 4: so bad at those, even when I was a nonsmoker.
- 40:18Speaker 3: I remember feeling very Yeah, how does that go?
- 40:23Speaker 4: What have you been watching?
- 40:24Speaker 3: Mogie Sweinfeld?
- 40:25Speaker 4: Man?
- 40:26Speaker 3: You hear that? Well? Over the weekend it was just
- 40:31Speaker 3: pure sport. Sure, So I really haven't got much to
- 40:34Speaker 3: hear than the sports discussion that we've already had. I've
- 40:38Speaker 3: got a few things on the lineup, but really, yeah,
- 40:41Speaker 3: nothing to add. But I imagine you've watched a hell
- 40:43Speaker 3: of a lot of stuff over your week off.
- 40:45Speaker 4: Well, actually, interestingly enough, as we've previously discussed on the show,
- 40:48Speaker 4: a lot of sport over the last weekend. I watched
- 40:51Speaker 4: a movie last night called Woman of the Hour, starring
- 40:57Speaker 4: Anna Kendrick directly Kendrick.
- 41:01Speaker 3: Can I just say this sounds like garbage? Can I
- 41:04Speaker 3: also say? Is this the serial killer one?
- 41:08Speaker 4: Yes?
- 41:08Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 41:09Speaker 4: Yeah? And you know my wife and I, yeah, were
- 41:15Speaker 4: about five about five minutes into it and I went,
- 41:19Speaker 4: my wife, Yeah, I said, my wife. I said, Darling,
- 41:25Speaker 4: what do you reckon? She went, ah, you know, but
- 41:27Speaker 4: she was on her phone anyway, it didn't matter. And
- 41:31Speaker 4: it's based on a true story, yeah, you know. And
- 41:34Speaker 4: and a Kendrick she's she's okay. And I can't remember
- 41:37Speaker 4: the name of the actual serial killer. It's about a
- 41:40Speaker 4: serial killer based on a true story.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Quite an interesting setup, but I don't know if I'd
- 41:47Speaker 3: waste my time making a movie out of It's such
- 41:49Speaker 3: a lot of work. So pugsgon into the people out there.
- 41:53Speaker 3: I'm going to regale you, Pugs, but you'll be like
- 41:56Speaker 3: the audience the listeners out there for Radio Heodech. You
- 41:58Speaker 3: were listening to the caws and there and their workplaces
- 42:00Speaker 3: at the moment. Okay, okay. So this is about a
- 42:05Speaker 3: woman who goes on a game show. It's a dating
- 42:07Speaker 3: thing and she she is one and she has to
- 42:10Speaker 3: choose a winner out of the three contestants. She chooses one.
- 42:13Speaker 3: They go away together on this date and they have
- 42:15Speaker 3: to come back and report. But the guy eventually gets
- 42:18Speaker 3: found out to be Is it the he's a serial killer?
- 42:21Speaker 4: Serial killer?
- 42:22Speaker 3: Is it b K T? Or BTK is not one
- 42:25Speaker 3: of the good ones. He's quite nasty. So it was
- 42:27Speaker 3: about the good fun times that she had on her
- 42:30Speaker 3: her weekend away with him.
- 42:31Speaker 5: But it was also sounds quite interesting to lot.
- 42:34Speaker 4: Well, it's your classic sort of you know, I'm just
- 42:37Speaker 4: kind of oh yeah, yeah, listen, Yeah.
- 42:40Speaker 3: We've had content up to our eyeballs out of the years,
- 42:42Speaker 3: have we?
- 42:44Speaker 4: And you know, eventually was convicted for seven murders, but
- 42:48Speaker 4: they reckon it was about one hundred and thirty.
- 42:50Speaker 3: Yeah, it was that bad.
- 42:52Speaker 4: And when he was first caught, he was let out
- 42:55Speaker 4: on bail for a little while where he killed three people. Yeah,
- 42:59Speaker 4: so it's it's kind of depressing. The guy's zapata. I
- 43:02Speaker 4: can't remember his name. He's got a sinister about him
- 43:06Speaker 4: that kind of worked.
- 43:07Speaker 3: Was there any sort of wacky high jinks.
- 43:08Speaker 4: No, not really, it's just it's just bruise hill and
- 43:11Speaker 4: sort of depressing.
- 43:12Speaker 3: There is there any kind of sort of misunderstandings around
- 43:15Speaker 3: room service when they're away or nothing like that, an
- 43:19Speaker 3: unexpected about of diarrhea or there was.
- 43:22Speaker 4: No real comedy you know what I mean? There was
- 43:24Speaker 4: no comedy going on at all. Oh well, yeah, what
- 43:28Speaker 4: did you watch Pogson.
- 43:29Speaker 3: I know what you watch, Cave. I saw them in
- 43:33Speaker 3: a townhole.
- 43:35Speaker 1: The whole Achy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 43:40Speaker 1: and Keezy.
- 43:40Speaker 4: Gorilla's there on the radio Honankee Big Show this Monday evening.
- 43:44Speaker 4: And as we were previously talking about in the show,
- 43:46Speaker 4: Maugie went to the Batch for a couple of days
- 43:50Speaker 4: there and did a bit of hunting and fishing. Yeah,
- 43:53Speaker 4: got myself a you know, a dolphin, a few undersized
- 43:56Speaker 4: snapper and all that sort of jazz.
- 43:58Speaker 3: Some quiet amount for there isn't it.
- 44:00Speaker 4: It is very bad.
- 44:01Speaker 3: I mean people say that the fish are on the Waine,
- 44:03Speaker 3: but the amount of snapper you and I have caught
- 44:06Speaker 3: sort of around the ten to fifteen centimeter mark unbelievable.
- 44:09Speaker 4: It's incredible, mate, especially when you're using a net as
- 44:13Speaker 4: opposed to like a hook or something like that. And
- 44:15Speaker 4: you know, it's nice we're at the batch because there's
- 44:18Speaker 4: always quail and walking around, so I kill those bastards
- 44:21Speaker 4: quick smart.
- 44:22Speaker 3: Actually, just on that note, we've got a tree outside
- 44:25Speaker 3: of our bedroom window. Yes, and of a morning you'll
- 44:27Speaker 3: get woken by it's quite odd. But around five to
- 44:32Speaker 3: six the bird song will begin, yes, and it's your
- 44:35Speaker 3: twoy and all sorts of things I haven't even heard before.
- 44:37Speaker 3: A cacophony, a chorus of sort of different birds living
- 44:40Speaker 3: in harmony together, sort of sing songing to start the day.
- 44:44Speaker 3: I went and slept in the spare room the other
- 44:46Speaker 3: night for reasons I won't get into here. But down
- 44:50Speaker 3: that end of the house you couldn't hear it. There's
- 44:52Speaker 3: still lots of trees down there. But I thought it
- 44:54Speaker 3: was the whole house was surrounded by birds singing. But
- 44:58Speaker 3: it's just one tree. So I'm thinking I'll have that
- 45:00Speaker 3: bastard chopped down.
- 45:01Speaker 4: Yeah, good cool man, No, seriously, good cool, Thanks.
- 45:05Speaker 3: And drive me up to goddamn wolf. They squawk from
- 45:08Speaker 3: five to six, and the bugger off to get a
- 45:09Speaker 3: feed and I'm good after that. But nice, but that
- 45:11Speaker 3: stage I will wait anyway.
- 45:13Speaker 4: But anyway, so, yeah, there was a lot of hunting
- 45:15Speaker 4: and fishing, a lot of killing. I didn't eat them,
- 45:17Speaker 4: of course. It gross, which brings me to the Wild
- 45:21Speaker 4: Food Festival, which I.
- 45:22Speaker 5: Believe brings you that that brings you to the world.
- 45:25Speaker 4: Yeah, what's going on there? Puck done? Because I'm a
- 45:29Speaker 4: little bit behind the eight ball here. As you can imagine.
- 45:31Speaker 3: No, totally.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Man, we'll ate the March next year in hockey ticket.
- 45:34Speaker 2: It's not going to be going on good. We're going
- 45:36Speaker 2: to be going down there, wore house Fellers.
- 45:38Speaker 3: That's right.
- 45:39Speaker 5: Yes, we are going to be going down there, Jason,
- 45:42Speaker 5: all of us, and that's going to be on my birthday.
- 45:44Speaker 5: So you're going to make an extra effort.
- 45:45Speaker 3: Now, I keeping on about that, just as he had
- 45:48Speaker 3: ate the mark every time it comes up.
- 45:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, absolutely, We've also got the chance for one
- 45:52Speaker 2: of our lovely punters.
- 45:54Speaker 3: Can I tell you? It's tiring and tire, so I can.
- 45:56Speaker 4: I can imagine I've only hit it once.
- 46:01Speaker 2: H If somebody you're throwing me off now, man, if
- 46:04Speaker 2: somebody wants to join us on this trap, would on
- 46:09Speaker 2: my birthday of all days, Well.
- 46:11Speaker 3: That's the thing that's putting them off. I mean, I'd
- 46:13Speaker 3: love to go to the World food Sestile, but if
- 46:15Speaker 3: I'm just going to hear down the.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Birthday, somebody wants to win flights, accommodation and tickets for
- 46:23Speaker 2: them and a mate they can get amongst their cots
- 46:26Speaker 2: in Otherwise, super early bird tickets to the Wild Foods

- 46:47Speaker 4: Well there you got your ad bastard zess your Monday

- 46:52Speaker 4: saddle on the bike as they say their moogie And
- 46:56Speaker 4: what are your playing tonight? Mate?
- 46:58Speaker 3: Well, my my wife, sister, my sister in law is
- 47:02Speaker 3: she's here, she's up from Wellington and then they've got
- 47:05Speaker 3: the cousin coming over as well, so we'll be having
- 47:07Speaker 3: a lovely far no dinner. I don't know what's going
- 47:10Speaker 3: to be getting cooked up, but it better be good.
- 47:12Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I can tell you a beautiful evening for it.
- 47:14Speaker 4: Beautiful Yeah, nice stuff. What about you, puck some What
- 47:16Speaker 4: are you getting up to minutes?
- 47:18Speaker 5: I'm just going to go home and chill men, maybe
- 47:19Speaker 5: play a little bit of a little bit of PlayStation there.
- 47:21Speaker 4: And after that week it's pretty heavy, heavy week. So
- 47:27Speaker 4: that's good, stuffy and seriously though, Pug's on a serious
- 47:31Speaker 4: loving here. Yeah, but I'll tell you what. I'm just
- 47:38Speaker 4: going to take it easy too, fellas. Okay, I had
- 47:40Speaker 4: a bit of a stressful day with trade ees today.
- 47:42Speaker 4: So my wife and I will, as I mentioned earlier
- 47:46Speaker 4: in the show, so close to finishing this bastard. My
- 47:49Speaker 4: wife's got home and she loves the look of it,
- 47:51Speaker 4: so we'll enjoy that together, maybe watch something on TV.
- 47:56Speaker 4: She's on her phone.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Yes, well you're saying that you got to rewatch the
- 48:01Speaker 3: T twenty World Cup Final from overnight.
- 48:05Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, definitely, it's worth it, totally, it's worth it.
