Cassell's Building Construction by Prof Henry Adams & Modern Buildings by G.A.T. Middleton
I have always through there were some classic construction books, Mitchells, McKays, Barry, A history of architecture, Banister Fletcher, Chuddly, perhaps, but there are two new books I want to add to the list, Cassells Building Construction by Prof Henry Adams, and Modern Buildings G. A. T. Middleton.
These two new titles, I knew nothing of, till I found Henry Adams in a book store in Hay on Wye and G.A.T Middleton from a very old friend from CIAT, who was keen to find a home for his grandfathers construction books. And they have changed my views on Teaching Construction & Architecture.
