Speaker 1: Wow, everybody, welcome to another edition of the NFL Fantasy
• 0:13
Speaker 1: Football Show. It's me Your Man, MG Marcus Grant, joined
• 0:16
Speaker 1: by Michael Florio and Lakwan Jones. Back half of the
• 0:19
Speaker 1: season starts this week. How are we feeling?
• 0:23
Speaker 2: I'll be feeling a lot better if my team wins
• 0:26
Speaker 2: on Sunday. My team and my fantasy teams. But uh,
• 0:30
Speaker 2: it's spooky season right now.
• 0:31
Speaker 1: It is spooky season. Lawan, you were asking me what
• 0:34
Speaker 1: my favorite scary movie is. I was like, I don't
• 0:36
Speaker 1: really watch scary movies, but I have to ask you
• 0:38
Speaker 1: what is your favorite scary movie?
• 0:39
Speaker 3: You never answered it.
• 0:41
Speaker 4: I like the Chucky franchise. I think me and my
• 0:43
Speaker 4: wife we like watching that during the Halloween time.
• 0:45
Speaker 5: It's funny. And also Charslee rays from Jersey, so you know, I.
• 0:48
Speaker 4: Got to represent for the big Jersey folks out there,
• 0:50
Speaker 4: fictional and you know, even the horror films getting there.
• 0:53
Speaker 2: All right, My biggest thing here is do you watch
• 0:56
Speaker 2: more movies than like anyone I know?
• 0:57
Speaker 6: Yeah, you don't watch horror movies.
• 0:59
Speaker 1: I'm not really a horror movie I will say if
• 1:01
Speaker 1: I have a Halloween staple. This is like the nerd
• 1:03
Speaker 1: Nerd in Me. The Abominable Doctor fivees nineteen seventy one.
• 1:08
Speaker 1: Vincent Price is kind of a campy, kind of horror
• 1:10
Speaker 1: comedy sort of thing. It's goofy. It's a deep dive.
• 1:14
Speaker 1: It's a deep poll for sure, but it is kind
• 1:16
Speaker 1: of my Halloween go too.
• 1:17
Speaker 2: If you like goofy Halloween movies. I told you, Thanks
• 1:20
Speaker 2: Killing is one of my favorites. And Jason, because.
• 1:23
Speaker 6: They're just over the top.
• 1:24
Speaker 1: No, Jason, do not watch Jason X.
• 1:27
Speaker 6: It is so bad. It's funny, you know.
• 1:30
Speaker 1: I'm into that sort of thing. That actually sounds kind
• 1:32
Speaker 1: of a my alley all right, also my alleys. But
• 1:35
Speaker 1: we on this show, we have your starts and since
• 1:37
Speaker 1: for week nine plus we dive into the Sunday and
• 1:40
Speaker 1: Monday night games. Plus we're gonna hit you with some
• 1:42
Speaker 1: bold predictions for the week. But you can go check out.
• 1:46
Speaker 1: Of course, Michael Florio start column every week at NFL
• 1:49
Speaker 1: dot com slash Starts City. He puts them together for
• 1:51
Speaker 1: you and I'm sure everybody reads them and it's perfectly
• 1:54
Speaker 1: okay with what happens, and they never follow up and
• 1:57
Speaker 1: come back to him with things that might be wrong.
• 2:01
Speaker 1: Let's start with the quote let's start with the quarterback position.
• 2:04
Speaker 1: Who are your starts and sits this week?
• 2:06
Speaker 2: I know Drake May is reaching obvious territory, but he
• 2:09
Speaker 2: has a tough matchup this week. I still think you
• 2:11
Speaker 2: start him. Dak Prescott, I think bounces back against the
• 2:14
Speaker 2: Cardinals that can't really create pressure. Speaking of not creating pressure,
• 2:17
Speaker 2: the forty nine ers do so with the lowest rate.
• 2:19
Speaker 2: Their defense is decimated. I think Jackson Dart takes advantage
• 2:22
Speaker 2: of that. I think Kyler Murray can have his best
• 2:25
Speaker 2: fantasy game of this season against the Cowboys.
• 2:28
Speaker 6: I think Caleb Williams.
• 2:29
Speaker 2: Just like with Justin Fields last week, you got to
• 2:31
Speaker 2: ignore the down performances before and just lock in on
• 2:34
Speaker 2: that matchup. I also have Sam Darnold as they start,
• 2:37
Speaker 2: and then the sits Bo Nicks.
• 2:39
  Speaker 6: That's a little bit of a spicy one, but I
• 2:41
Speaker 6: do not like the matchup at all.
• 2:43
Speaker 2: Jordan Love tough matchup, and I just think this is
• 2:47
Speaker 2: a game where it's not gonna be like last week
• 2:49
Speaker 2: where he has to throw as much as he did.
• 2:51
  Speaker 6: CJ.
• 2:52
Speaker 2: Stroud I want absolutely no part of in this matchup
• 2:54
Speaker 2: against the Broncos. Aaron Rodgers is very touchdown reliant right now.
• 2:59
Speaker 2: I don't know if you can bank on that against
• 3:00
Speaker 2: the Colts. And then I know people are excited that
• 3:02
  Speaker 2: JJ's back, but that's a Viking.
• 3:04
Speaker 6: Don't make it a fantasy football thing.
• 3:06
Speaker 1: All right, So there you go fast. Let's just start
• 3:09
Speaker 1: into some of these guys individually. Lakwan, I mean Sam
• 3:12
Speaker 1: Donald very quietly putting together a nice fantasy season up
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: there in Seattle.
• 3:17
Speaker 4: No, I really love everything that I've seen from Sam Donald.
• 3:20
Speaker 4: Then he is strapped to one of the best wide
• 3:22
Speaker 4: receivers in the NFL right now. This is the wide
• 3:24
Speaker 4: receiver one right now in the NFL, and Jackson Smith
• 3:27
Speaker 4: and the Jigmo. And we've seen Sam Donald fight his
• 3:29
Speaker 4: way out of tough matchups and be able to go
• 3:31
Speaker 4: out there and put serviceful fantasy points on the board.
• 3:34
Speaker 4: So I look at this Washington Commander's defense. In the
• 3:37
Speaker 4: last three games, they have allowed three quarterbacks to put
• 3:40
Speaker 4: up over nineteen plus fantasy points. These guys have found
• 3:43
Speaker 4: the end zone twice or maybe even three times in
• 3:45
Speaker 4: the last three games against the Commanders. So I think
• 3:48
Speaker 4: Sam Donald's going to join that party and possibly put
• 3:50
Speaker 4: up three tuddies in this game.
• 3:52
Speaker 6: Jsen best receiver in the NFC West.
• 3:54
Speaker 5: You heard it from Lakwan, I mean, oh my god.
• 3:57
Speaker 5: First of all, this is too early, trying to hit
• 4:00
  Speaker 5: me crashing bro.
• 4:03
Speaker 1: Right now. Don't you ever do that again? Oh man,
• 4:07
Speaker 1: that would have been great, Just a huge crash out
• 4:09
Speaker 1: in the first block show.
• 4:12
Speaker 5: It's insane, too early, man, say this for later.
• 4:15
Speaker 1: On the flip side of things, CJ. Stroud had a
• 4:17
Speaker 1: good game last week against a forty nine er team
• 4:19
Speaker 1: that has the same level of pass rush as the
• 4:22
Speaker 1: three of us here combined. The odds though Lakwan that
• 4:26
Speaker 1: he can do it again against a Denver team that
• 4:29
Speaker 1: is generally living in the.
• 4:30
Speaker 4: Backfield, even with a banged up Pat Sartin. Like, I
• 4:34
Speaker 4: don't feel comfortable with CJ. Stroud because it's kind of
• 4:37
Speaker 4: unfortunate that we can predict in the games that we
• 4:39
Speaker 4: shouldn't be starting him like this. First of all, this
• 4:41
Speaker 4: guy's owned for this season when pressured over thirty percent
• 4:44
Speaker 4: on his dropbacks. I mean, when we look at Denver
• 4:47
Speaker 4: right now, at the top of the league. First, when
• 4:49
Speaker 4: it comes to QB pressures, they have a disturbing forty
• 4:52
Speaker 4: five percent with QB pressure rate. So I am not
• 4:55
Speaker 4: starting CJ. Stroud, especially with a banged up Nico. I'm
• 4:58
Speaker 4: not relying on the young guys in Higgins and Jalen
• 5:00
Speaker 4: Nole to kind of step up and save CJ. Strout
• 5:03
Speaker 4: to be fantasy relevant. But when we look at the
• 5:05
Speaker 4: games where he's pressured over thirty percent, he has less
• 5:08
Speaker 4: than fourteen Fantasy points.
• 5:09
Speaker 6: That is real nasty work.
• 5:12
Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, look, this Texans offense generally speaking, has
• 5:15
Speaker 1: been pretty awful and it's been hard to really trust
• 5:18
Speaker 1: any of those guys you mentioned Nic Nico Collins banged up,
• 5:21
Speaker 1: the offensive line is bad. This feels like a week
• 5:23
Speaker 1: that you're not If you got Cia Shroud blow up
• 5:25
Speaker 1: last week, good on you. I wouldn't count on it
• 5:28
Speaker 1: happening again this week. Turn our attention to the running
• 5:31
Speaker 1: back position, Florium, Who do you like in Week nine?
• 5:33
Speaker 1: Who do you not like?
• 5:34
  Speaker 6: This week?
• 5:35
Speaker 2: Jonder Swift has just been going off the last month.
• 5:37
Speaker 2: He is a must start option this week against the Bengals.
• 5:41
Speaker 2: I feel like Kimani Vedell also a must start option
• 5:44
Speaker 2: this week and a fantastic matchup against the Titans.
• 5:48
Speaker 6: Chase Brown I like a lot more if Joe Flacco.
• 5:50
Speaker 2: Is out there, But either way, he's been running a
• 5:52
Speaker 2: lot better as of late, and it's a favorable matchup
• 5:54
Speaker 2: against the Bears, who don't really make contact anywhere near
• 5:59
Speaker 2: the line of scrimmage on running backs. David Montgomery just
• 6:01
Speaker 2: because the Vikings have been ran on the second highest
• 6:04
Speaker 2: rate in the NFL.
• 6:06
Speaker 6: And then Bam Knight.
• 6:07
Speaker 2: It might only be a one week thing with Trey
• 6:08
Speaker 2: Benson nearing a return, but it's a fantastic matchup and
• 6:11
Speaker 2: he is the lead back.
• 6:13
Speaker 6: And then the sis the common theme this week.
• 6:15
Speaker 2: I don't love the Broncos in this matchup against the Texans,
• 6:18
Speaker 2: and then includes JK. Dobbins who has RJ. Harvey stealing
• 6:21
Speaker 2: the touchdowns. Now Alvin Kamara, I part of it is
• 6:25
  Speaker 2: the Saints offense.
• 6:26
  Speaker 6: I think.
• 6:26
Speaker 2: I think part of it is also just declined on
• 6:28
Speaker 2: his part. And the Rams are an extremely tough matchup.
• 6:31
Speaker 2: Kenneth Walker and Zach Sharbonay continue to eat off each
• 6:34
Speaker 2: other's plates and make each other almost where you don't
• 6:36
Speaker 2: want to start either of them. Bill Merritt, you know
• 6:40
Speaker 2: the toughest matchup I would say for a your runner.
• 6:43
Speaker 6: The Seahawks really show.
• 6:44
Speaker 2: Against pass catching backs, but that's not Bill. And then
• 6:46
Speaker 2: Chewba Hubbard. If you're starting anyone in this tough matchup,
• 6:49
  Speaker 2: it's Rico.
• 6:50
Speaker 1: All right, Yeah, the Tuba Hubbard. I am completely out
• 6:54
Speaker 1: on this week. I'm not even super excited about Rico
• 6:57
Speaker 1: Dowin for sure. I want to ask you though about
• 6:59
Speaker 1: Chase Brown Laqwal because he liked the rest of the
• 7:02
Speaker 1: Bengals skill position players have gotten a boost from having
• 7:05
Speaker 1: Joe Flacco in the lineup. Flaco right now kind of
• 7:08
Speaker 1: iffy for this week because he's dealing with some injuries.
• 7:11
Speaker 1: If Flacco can't go, if they have to go back
• 7:13
Speaker 1: to Jake Browning, do we feel okay with Chase.
• 7:16
Speaker 4: Brown No, I'm a little hesitant. This is where I
• 7:20
Speaker 4: start looking at my roster. This is where I start
• 7:22
Speaker 4: looking down the line. If I can get somebody in there.
• 7:25
Speaker 4: If Joe Flacco is out with the show the injury,
• 7:27
Speaker 4: it's definitely gonna be night and day of how this
• 7:29
Speaker 4: offense is operating. Because under Jake Browning, we've seen this
• 7:33
Speaker 4: sample side. If we've seen what defenses are doing to
• 7:35
Speaker 4: Jake Browning, it's a bunch of turnovers and the run
• 7:37
Speaker 4: game suffers. Where I think Chase Brown becomes one of
• 7:40
Speaker 4: those sketchy starts, spooky starts. We should say this week
• 7:44
Speaker 4: being that if it's going to be Jake browning, I'm
• 7:46
Speaker 4: not gonna feel confident of Chase Brown having that high scene.
• 7:49
Speaker 5: And like how we've seen in the past couple of.
• 7:51
Speaker 4: Weeks, because we'd said to the fantasy streets, hey, if
• 7:53
Speaker 4: Joe Flacco's the starter, therefore, this schedule opens up a
• 7:56
Speaker 4: little bit on the ground for Chase Brown. But when
• 7:58
Speaker 4: you change that factor of it, it makes me really
• 8:01
Speaker 4: really worried about having Chase Brown having a safe floor.
• 8:03
Speaker 1: I do love Chase Brown for the rest of the season, though,
• 8:06
Speaker 1: because the schedule is really really friendly and I do
• 8:08
Speaker 1: like what Joe Flacco has meant for this offense. Plus
• 8:11
Speaker 1: there is a chance Joe Burrow could be back. But
• 8:14
Speaker 1: if there's no Flacco this week, I'm not super excited
• 8:18
Speaker 1: about Chase Brown. The other side, you heard Florida talk
• 8:22
Speaker 1: about Rico Dowdo maybe a go for the Panthers this week.
• 8:26
Speaker 1: We santed to talk about earlier in the Weeklakwan but
• 8:27
Speaker 1: Chewba Hubbard definitely a sit. I'm not saying he's a drop,
• 8:31
Speaker 1: but he's getting hard to start him right now.
• 8:33
Speaker 4: Yeah, he's going to be collecting us on a lot
• 8:35
Speaker 4: of people's benches for these next couple of weeks. And
• 8:38
Speaker 4: it's understandable because again we paid draft investment for Chewba Hubbard.
• 8:41
Speaker 4: But unfortunately, I want to keep echoing this. This ain't
• 8:44
Speaker 4: the first time this guy has lost his job. But
• 8:46
Speaker 4: I will of course handcuff him if he has that
• 8:49
Speaker 4: matchup base in certain weeks, I know buys are still
• 8:52
Speaker 4: going to be a coming up and on the way,
• 8:54
Speaker 4: and you're gonna have to slide him into that flex position.
• 8:57
Speaker 4: It's just more of like now your rostering guy that's
• 8:59
Speaker 4: still behind another guy that does the job a lot
• 9:02
Speaker 4: better than what he's supposed to do as the paid
• 9:05
Speaker 4: running back. So it's one of those things. It's like
• 9:07
Speaker 4: he's going to collect us. Just have your expectations in
• 9:09
Speaker 4: order when you have to look for him. If you
• 9:11
Speaker 4: can trade him and add him in a package to
• 9:13
Speaker 4: ship him off, that's probably plan A to do right now,
• 9:17
Speaker 4: because I see no value in holding on to him
• 9:20
Speaker 4: to have stand alone, stand alone fantasy value.
• 9:23
Speaker 1: I mean, where are we on the Panthers offense generally?
• 9:25
Speaker 1: Because Bryce s has been okay, Terorer McMillan's having a
• 9:28
Speaker 1: good season. They're not necessarily like deep in fantasy, but
• 9:32
Speaker 1: they've been better I think than we expected.
• 9:34
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's two players though that you started.
• 9:37
Speaker 2: It's McMillan and en Rico Dubdell, and that's kind of
• 9:39
Speaker 2: it for me. Bryce Young you could stream in the
• 9:42
Speaker 2: right matchups, but he's far from a guy that you
• 9:44
Speaker 2: play every single week and then like Exavier to get
• 9:48
Speaker 2: Jalen Kocher. We want these guys to be things, but
• 9:51
Speaker 2: until they become consistent. We've seen flashes out of these guys.
• 9:55
Speaker 2: We know the capability and the talent they have, but
• 9:58
Speaker 2: we need this offense to become more consistent before we
• 10:00
Speaker 2: could start talking about more than just these two guys
• 10:03
Speaker 2: as like every week starders.
• 10:04
Speaker 1: In my opinion, I think that's fair, but that's been
• 10:06
Speaker 1: kind of nice to see the progress a little bit
• 10:08
Speaker 1: step by step, even if it's not necessarily making these
• 10:11
Speaker 1: guys fantasy relevant. There's things happening at heels. It seems
• 10:14
Speaker 1: like in Carolina looking at some of the Week nine games,
• 10:18
Speaker 1: will take a look at Sunday Night Football. At the
• 10:20
Speaker 1: first touchdown odds for Sunday Night Football between the Seahawks
• 10:24
Speaker 1: and the commanders Jackson Smith and Jigba the best wide
• 10:28
Speaker 1: receiver in the NSC. I knew it was coming as
• 10:33
Speaker 1: the leader there on the the category by Zach Charbonay,
• 10:37
Speaker 1: then Kenneth Walker, you got Jacory Krosskey Merritts behind him,
• 10:41
Speaker 1: and then Debo coming in there. At the end, of course,
• 10:45
Speaker 1: we already know that Terry McLaurin has been ruled out.
• 10:48
Speaker 1: It does look promising for Jad and Daniels to be
• 10:50
Speaker 1: available this week, but waiting for official word at least.
• 10:53
Speaker 3: As the time of us doing this show.
• 10:56
Speaker 1: But looking at this game specifically, Florio jays And has
• 11:00
Speaker 1: been amazing so far this year. It's a good matchup
• 11:03
Speaker 1: on paper though for the Seattle wideouts. Can you trust
• 11:06
Speaker 1: any of their pass catchers though after Smith and Jigbo, I.
• 11:09
Speaker 2: Don't think so, Like I wouldn't want to, maybe if
• 11:11
Speaker 2: you're in a pinch or something like that. But we've
• 11:13
Speaker 2: seen stretches this year where Cooper Cups flashed a couple
• 11:16
Speaker 2: of games where he looks good. We've seen there was
• 11:20
Speaker 2: a couple of weeks where Elijah Royal was like the
• 11:23
Speaker 2: number two target, then aj Barner. So I think everything
• 11:28
Speaker 2: is hyper focused and funneled through JSN, and after that
• 11:32
Speaker 2: it kind of varies week to week, and I think
• 11:34
Speaker 2: Darnold kind of just goes to whoever's open after that.
• 11:38
Speaker 2: To me, it's kind of there's no one on this
• 11:41
Speaker 2: team besides JSN, and that includes the running backs that
• 11:44
Speaker 2: I think are anywhere close to a must start each week.
• 11:46
Speaker 1: That's sort of fair. I envision a world Lakwan where
• 11:49
Speaker 1: Cooper Cup has some sleeper vibes this week?
• 11:52
Speaker 6: Are you on board with that?
• 11:54
  Speaker 5: Is he playing?
• 11:55
  Speaker 1: Like?
• 11:55
Speaker 5: Is he on the Seahawks still?
• 11:57
Speaker 4: Because what production has he done to beget in his
• 12:00
Speaker 4: said on a national broadcast fantasy network right now to
• 12:03
Speaker 4: be talking about Cooper Cup.
• 12:05
Speaker 5: I mean, what has he done?
• 12:07
Speaker 6: Is that two good games?
• 12:07
Speaker 1: He's had a couple of good games.
• 12:10
  Speaker 4: I'm sleep I'm sorry I him because because he's not
• 12:14
Speaker 4: fantasy relevant whatsoever. Like I'm not trying to be mean,
• 12:16
Speaker 4: like Cooper Cup has done nothing this season for fantasy managers.
• 12:19
Speaker 4: I don't know one person who's rolled him out there
• 12:21
Speaker 4: in starting lineups and said, yeah, I feel confident about
• 12:24
  Speaker 4: winning this week.
• 12:25
Speaker 2: Well, the former best NFC West wide receiver now teaming
• 12:29
Speaker 2: up with the current best NFCA.
• 12:30
Speaker 1: I mean just forming like Voltron up there in the
• 12:34
  Speaker 1: Pacific Northwest.
• 12:35
  Speaker 6: Uh.
• 12:36
Speaker 1: Wait, come back. I have a real question to ask you. Now,
• 12:39
Speaker 1: you gotta come back and sit down for real, for real.
• 12:44
Speaker 1: Though we were super excited about Bill, you know, Jacory
• 12:47
Speaker 1: Krosky Marrit had a couple of weeks where he really
• 12:49
Speaker 1: was popping in that offense, the last couple of weeks
• 12:52
Speaker 1: have not been particularly great for him. Seattle's defense has
• 12:55
Speaker 1: been better than average. I would say, are you still
• 12:58
Speaker 1: comfortable starting jays see him this week?
• 13:02
  Speaker 6: No?
• 13:02
Speaker 4: And it makes it harder with no jds. So it's
• 13:05
Speaker 4: like one of the situations where we know Bill could
• 13:08
Speaker 4: be a great player, Like we see these highlights. We
• 13:10
Speaker 4: see he's able to cut outside really well in between
• 13:12
Speaker 4: the tackles, like he has all the talent packed with him,
• 13:15
Speaker 4: And I feel like I don't want to label him
• 13:17
Speaker 4: this type, but it feels like a p Checko situation,
• 13:20
Speaker 4: like he's great on the ground, but he needs to
• 13:21
Speaker 4: be in scoring opportunities to rack up these fantasy points,
• 13:24
Speaker 4: like having nine fantasy points per game for a guy
• 13:27
Speaker 4: that we know is good on an offense that should
• 13:29
Speaker 4: be in striking distance more often than not, but dealing
• 13:32
Speaker 4: with injuries is what's hindering me to have that trust
• 13:35
Speaker 4: in Bill, to have that ability to give back at
• 13:38
Speaker 4: least ORB two flex type of numbers on a week
• 13:40
Speaker 4: to week basis. But right now we're not sitting in
• 13:43
Speaker 4: a situation like that right now. With JCM, Yeah, I
• 13:47
  Speaker 4: mean it was.
• 13:48
Speaker 1: I think there'll be better weeks for him coming, but
• 13:51
Speaker 1: it seems like everybody's kind of clued into what he
• 13:53
  Speaker 1: is doing.
• 13:55
  Speaker 6: You know.
• 13:55
Speaker 1: Maybe it also would help having a healthy Jaden Daniels
• 13:58
Speaker 1: kind of having his offense back in full, but it
• 14:00
Speaker 1: hasn't quite worked out. We take it a look at
• 14:03
Speaker 1: the Monday Night football game plus some more starts and
• 14:05
Speaker 1: since we dive into wide receivers and tight ends, that's
• 14:08
Speaker 1: coming up after the break here on the NFL Fantasy
• 14:10
Speaker 1: Football show, Look at You Monday Night Football. It is
• 14:17
Speaker 1: the Arizona Cardinals heading to Dallas to take on the Cowboys.
• 14:20
Speaker 1: You can see that game, of course on ESPEN eight
• 14:23
Speaker 1: fifteen pm Eastern florio Is this a Kyler Murray week?
• 14:28
Speaker 6: It has to be right.
• 14:29
Speaker 2: If it's not this week, then when is it. The
• 14:31
Speaker 2: Cowboys are the best matchup a quarterback could have in
• 14:36
Speaker 2: fantasy this season they've allowed the most fantasy points, They've
• 14:39
Speaker 2: allowed the most passing yards, they've allowed the most touchdowns
• 14:43
Speaker 2: passing touchdowns, and the most rushing yards two quarterbacks and
• 14:48
Speaker 2: the second most rushing touchdowns.
• 14:50
Speaker 6: Like, if this is not a Kyler Murray week, we
• 14:53
  Speaker 6: need to.
• 14:53
Speaker 2: Get Jacoby Brissaid in here or something like that, because
• 14:56
Speaker 2: if it doesn't happen now, then when is it going to.
• 14:58
Speaker 1: I mean, Kyler this year has been functionally unstartable just
• 15:03
Speaker 1: because the floor is fourteen, the ceiling is eighteen. Like
• 15:09
Speaker 1: Kyler Murray lives in a tiny house. And that's not
• 15:11
Speaker 1: a comment on his stature, Like he just lives the
• 15:13
Speaker 1: floor the ceiling are really close together. With Kyler Murray,
• 15:16
Speaker 1: it just makes him hard to start.
• 15:17
Speaker 2: If he doesn't get twenty points this week, I think
• 15:20
Speaker 2: you could just drop Kyler Murray probably because it's not
• 15:22
Speaker 2: gonna get much better than this.
• 15:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, Lakwan. Last week, Jake Ferguson had these same number
• 15:26
Speaker 1: of catches as all three of us combined. Here is
• 15:29
Speaker 1: this a bounce back.
• 15:30
  Speaker 6: Week for him?
• 15:32
Speaker 1: It has to be.
• 15:32
Speaker 4: I think that, you know, looking at last week was
• 15:35
Speaker 4: kind of like an outlier week. We know Jake Ferguson
• 15:37
Speaker 4: is a function of that Cowboys offense. This is something
• 15:40
Speaker 4: that I've been saying since the summer. He's been my
• 15:43
Speaker 4: must draft tight end because he is part of the
• 15:46
Speaker 4: function of the CD Lamb and George Pickens of this
• 15:49
Speaker 4: offense with the great Javonte Williams. Right now, I think
• 15:52
Speaker 4: this week against the Cardinals, there's some wiggle room for
• 15:54
Speaker 4: him to have some production there top of the table
• 15:57
Speaker 4: when it comes to a completion percentage allowed at the
• 16:00
Speaker 4: tight end position and also completions period. So there's obviously
• 16:03
Speaker 4: some upside there for Jake Ferguson to find some work,
• 16:06
Speaker 4: and I think this would be a good week for
• 16:07
Speaker 4: him to bounce back at least to be a tight
• 16:09
  Speaker 4: end one.
• 16:10
Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been telling people to start him. If if
• 16:12
Speaker 1: you had him last week and you got the zero,
• 16:14
  Speaker 1: I understand you're upset. It was just a bump. It's
• 16:18
Speaker 1: just a speed bump, man, like it's.
• 16:19
Speaker 5: Gonna get better for play us mess up.
• 16:22
Speaker 6: I do. I agree with everything you guys are saying.
• 16:25
Speaker 2: I also think it is a cell high opportunity because
• 16:28
Speaker 2: he's been the clearcut third target since CD Lamb has
• 16:31
Speaker 2: been back, so like he was he's not going to
• 16:33
Speaker 2: be the tight end one like he was the first
• 16:35
Speaker 2: seven weeks of the season the rest of the way.
• 16:37
Speaker 1: In my opinion, I think that's fair. I think that's fair.
• 16:39
Speaker 1: You can probably get a lot for him because people
• 16:40
Speaker 1: need tight end help at this point. We'll get to
• 16:43
Speaker 1: tight ends in just a little bit. We get back
• 16:45
Speaker 1: to our starts. And since we're looking at wide receiver
• 16:48
Speaker 1: in the Florida who do you like at the wide
• 16:50
  Speaker 1: receiver position?
• 16:51
Speaker 2: I like the Jags guys, because the Raiders are in
• 16:53
Speaker 2: the top four not only in fantasy points allowed to
• 16:55
Speaker 2: wide receivers, but specifically in yards to out wide wide receivers.
• 16:59
  Speaker 6: A Ladd McConkie.
• 17:00
Speaker 2: He has been giving Wi Just Chargers wide receiver one
• 17:03
Speaker 2: fantasy wide receiver one production for the last month. The
• 17:06
Speaker 2: Titans play a lot of his own coverage. Marvin Harrison Junior,
• 17:09
Speaker 2: Just like what Kyler Murray. If it's not this week.
• 17:12
  Speaker 6: When is it?
• 17:12
Speaker 2: If you're not starting him against the Dallas Cowboys, why
• 17:15
Speaker 2: are you rostering him? Roma dunsays, and must play in
• 17:18
Speaker 2: this one against the Bengals. For me and Wandel Robinson,
• 17:20
Speaker 2: no team allows more production to slot receivers than the
• 17:23
Speaker 2: forty nine ers and then the Sids Stefan Diggs the
• 17:26
Speaker 2: tough matchup against the Falcons, and the Patriots are just
• 17:28
Speaker 2: spreading the ball and the production around at such a
• 17:31
Speaker 2: high rate. Jamison Williams watch this will be the week
• 17:34
Speaker 2: he catches like one long touchdown, but the volume just
• 17:37
Speaker 2: hasn't gone his way and the vikings outside of the
• 17:40
  Speaker 2: Eagles game have.
• 17:41
Speaker 6: Been very tough against wide receivers. Matthew Golden.
• 17:43
Speaker 2: I think we're getting to a point where Christian Watson
• 17:46
Speaker 2: could surpass him in the routes and target pecking order.
• 17:50
  Speaker 6: Jacoby Myers.
• 17:50
Speaker 2: I want no part of any of the Raiders if
• 17:53
Speaker 2: it's not Brock Bowers or Jacoby Meyer, h Ashian Genty
• 17:56
Speaker 2: and then key On Coleman. It pains me to say,
• 17:58
Speaker 2: but he's not getting used properly and the Chiefs are
• 18:01
Speaker 2: such a tough matchup.
• 18:02
Speaker 1: Yeah, Chiefs tough matchup there, So Kean Coleman just at
• 18:05
Speaker 1: this point I can advt he's not been the guy
• 18:07
Speaker 1: that I thought he would be coming into the season.
• 18:09
Speaker 1: Let's go back to one Dale Robinson though, because it
• 18:12
Speaker 1: is a good matchup Mkwan, but also Wandea Robinson really
• 18:16
Speaker 1: having a nice season for the Giants.
• 18:18
Speaker 4: No, for real, We've been seeing a lot of Wandall
• 18:21
Speaker 4: Robinson used downfield, which we love that his A die
• 18:23
Speaker 4: was able to increase and actually double from what it
• 18:26
Speaker 4: was last year. But I got to pump the brakes
• 18:28
Speaker 4: this week. Actually, if I have other options that have
• 18:30
Speaker 4: safer floors, I'll probably pivot that way because there's one
• 18:33
Speaker 4: thing about the forty winers, they always find a way.
• 18:36
Speaker 4: They find a way to get the job done. And
• 18:38
  Speaker 4: I know it's a weak point where they're going to
• 18:40
Speaker 4: be operating following him in the slot. But in the
• 18:42
Speaker 4: games that we've seen dark as the starter, Wando Robson
• 18:46
Speaker 4: hasn't been like one of the big fantasy assets when
• 18:49
Speaker 4: you look at the games that he popped off Darius
• 18:52
Speaker 4: Slayton wasn't playing. But then when Darius Slayton comes back
• 18:54
Speaker 4: into the picture, we see a season low last week
• 18:57
Speaker 4: in his targets per route run who has and star attention,
• 19:01
Speaker 4: And I think, honestly, you still get off with having
• 19:04
Speaker 4: him in the flex this week, but my expectations are
• 19:06
Speaker 4: kind of low. If I have better options for higher ceilings.
• 19:09
Speaker 1: This week, I'm looking forward to next year. I know
• 19:12
Speaker 1: we talked about Molak Neighbors earlier this week, Floria, but
• 19:16
Speaker 1: Wandel Robinson, he might be Are we gonna overlook him?
• 19:20
Speaker 1: I guess is the question, you know, after what he
• 19:22
  Speaker 1: did this year.
• 19:22
Speaker 2: I think it's very likely the Giants either draft or
• 19:26
Speaker 2: sign another out wide wide receiver. And if that is
• 19:29
Speaker 2: the case, then it dings Wandell because volume is what
• 19:32
Speaker 2: like outside of that game against the Cowboys, when Neighbors
• 19:35
Speaker 2: was out there, he was just all floor, you know,
• 19:38
Speaker 2: So now we're getting more upside with him as the
• 19:40
  Speaker 2: primary target.
• 19:41
Speaker 6: But I do think the Giants had on.
• 19:43
Speaker 1: The said side of things, Jamison Williams. He was a
• 19:46
Speaker 1: guy that I was hyping up coming into this season.
• 19:48
Speaker 1: It made me feel a little bit better, Lakwan to
• 19:49
Speaker 1: see John Morton basically come out and say we admit
• 19:52
Speaker 1: that we have failed Jamison Williams and trying to get
• 19:54
Speaker 1: him the ball. So I just want to say that
• 19:57
Speaker 1: I was right. It's the lion too or wrong? Sure, sure, sorry,
• 20:02
Speaker 1: and I'll keep fighting that fight for Greg Dorts.
• 20:04
Speaker 5: But anyway, at the end of the day.
• 20:07
Speaker 4: You love that John Morton is going out there taking accountability,
• 20:10
Speaker 4: saying hey, I need to do a better job and
• 20:11
Speaker 4: get him more involved, because it's been some weeks since
• 20:14
Speaker 4: we've seen James and Williamson really cash in to hit
• 20:17
Speaker 4: his high ceiling. The last time he had over one
• 20:19
Speaker 4: hundred yards was in week two and that was the
• 20:21
Speaker 4: statement game. That was the prove it game. That was
• 20:23
Speaker 4: the game like, hey, you guys don't need the point
• 20:25
Speaker 4: to our freaking franchise low of yards per play. In
• 20:29
Speaker 4: week one, they got it together. That was the bounce
• 20:31
Speaker 4: back game to where after that we haven't seen Jamo
• 20:34
Speaker 4: really utilize at his peak. So hopefully, hopefully this week
• 20:38
Speaker 4: when we sit him, he goes off and shows some
• 20:40
Speaker 4: life and this will be the week that he shows
• 20:42
Speaker 4: momentum that they can build on. After John Morton took
• 20:45
  Speaker 4: some accountability.
• 20:46
Speaker 1: Yeah, I just want to say that I knew what
• 20:48
Speaker 1: was happening and I'm putting this all in John Morton's
• 20:51
Speaker 1: lap for my take this and good.
• 20:54
Speaker 4: I'm fighting the good fight for Greg Dorts. I'm blaming
• 20:56
Speaker 4: Drew Petson. It's all good. I know Greg dortsch can ball.
• 21:00
Speaker 1: It had nothing to do with us. It was completely
• 21:02
Speaker 1: the coaching that let us down. As as what happened there. Yes,
• 21:05
Speaker 1: let's move over to the Florida Who do you like?
• 21:08
Speaker 1: Who do you not like?
• 21:08
  Speaker 3: This week?
• 21:09
Speaker 2: Tyler Warren is a must start and I just included
• 21:12
Speaker 2: him because he's coming off of a down week. Aroande
• 21:14
Speaker 2: Gatson the second. Obviously, what he's been doing has been
• 21:17
Speaker 2: tight end one production. But the Titans play zone coverage
• 21:21
Speaker 2: close to eighty percent of the time, and in the
• 21:23
Speaker 2: last month, Gatson has almost double the amount of yards
• 21:26
Speaker 2: against zone. It's any other Charger player. Jake Ferguson, We've
• 21:29
Speaker 2: already spoke about him. Kyle Pitt Senior three weeks in
• 21:32
Speaker 2: a row making it into the start side of stardom,
• 21:34
Speaker 2: Sitdham in a really good matchup against the Patriots, and
• 21:37
Speaker 2: then the six dalton Kin kid. He has played the
• 21:40
Speaker 2: Chiefs three times, never top fifty yards, never scored a touchdown,
• 21:43
Speaker 2: never reached ten fantasy points, and the Chiefs have been
• 21:46
Speaker 2: even better against tight ends than they have in the past.
• 21:48
Speaker 2: Evan Ingram, it's just not happening right now, and the
• 21:52
Speaker 2: Texans are a really tough matchup. Hunter Henry since week four,
• 21:57
Speaker 2: I think it is, he's averaging like less than four
• 21:59
  Speaker 2: targets per game.
• 22:00
  Speaker 6: And TJ.
• 22:00
Speaker 2: Hawkinson again another player that is just simply not happening
• 22:04
Speaker 2: for rookie quarterback or second year but he's played eight quarters,
• 22:07
Speaker 2: he's taken over again, tough matchup, all of that. Like,
• 22:10
Speaker 2: I think Justin Jefferson is the only vicing you can
• 22:12
  Speaker 2: start with confidence.
• 22:13
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's fine to call it JJ McCarthy
• 22:15
Speaker 1: a rookie. I know technically he's not, but really he is.
• 22:18
Speaker 1: At this most rookies have.
• 22:19
Speaker 6: Played more football than j McCarthy.
• 22:22
Speaker 1: That's that is not a lie. Ronde Gatston Lakwan, he
• 22:28
Speaker 1: is the tight end hero that we didn't know we wanted,
• 22:31
Speaker 1: but we absolutely deserve.
• 22:34
Speaker 5: Yes, a couple of things.
• 22:35
  Speaker 4: I'm glad I didn't make the deal that I would
• 22:37
Speaker 4: dye my hair blind of Arondez gass a top five
• 22:40
Speaker 4: tight end this season, because I've been screaming this guy's
• 22:42
Speaker 4: name since he's been drafted. So I think at the
• 22:44
Speaker 4: end of the day, mister Rondez Gassen Senior, og tap
• 22:48
Speaker 4: in with the fantasy streets, bless us with another week
• 22:50
Speaker 4: that you bench your own son and don't listen to
• 22:53
  Speaker 4: the critics saying.
• 22:54
Speaker 1: How can he bench his own son?
• 22:56
Speaker 4: Because fantasy is first, he's trying to stack the wings
• 22:59
Speaker 4: playoffs around the corner. Trade deadlines are closing up. Mironde
• 23:03
Speaker 4: Gaskins needs to be a start for everybody else, but
• 23:06
Speaker 4: a sit when it comes to his father.
• 23:09
Speaker 2: All right, but I will say you did say if
• 23:13
Speaker 2: Harold's Fannon Junior is a top five tight end, you will.
• 23:16
Speaker 5: Go full blown this time.
• 23:17
Speaker 6: He is seventeen points.
• 23:18
Speaker 2: He's the tight end seven and he is seventeen points
• 23:21
Speaker 2: away from the top five.
• 23:23
Speaker 1: I was hoping Florio forgot about this.
• 23:26
Speaker 2: You the one to bring the pub the blonde thing,
• 23:31
Speaker 2: and then I was like, wait, we have Harold Bannon.
• 23:35
Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Here the good news is they're gonna
• 23:37
Speaker 1: buy this week, so he in theory could follow a
• 23:39
Speaker 1: couple of spots back. Please, And you gotta hope that
• 23:42
Speaker 1: Dylan gab you not trade David Nijoku. Don't trade Dan Joku.
• 23:46
Speaker 1: You hope that Dylan Gabriel doesn't just get hot or
• 23:48
Speaker 1: something like that down the shape T J. Hawkinson. You
• 23:52
Speaker 1: were not on the TJ. Hawkinson trained Florio.
• 23:54
  Speaker 3: And I were.
• 23:56
Speaker 4: So would you like to take a victory lap on? Yes,
• 23:59
Speaker 4: I would like to take a victory left. But I
• 24:00
Speaker 4: will also say this, though, right, you guys are far
• 24:03
Speaker 4: off we didn't. We couldn't really see the entire board
• 24:06
Speaker 4: of JJ McCarthy getting injured. But I think my ticket
• 24:10
Speaker 4: to the TJ. Hockinson Show, to the hype train, it's over.
• 24:14
Speaker 4: I don't roster him anywhere much more. I've traded him.
• 24:18
  Speaker 6: He is on.
• 24:18
Speaker 4: Collection of dust and other leagues. But shout out to
• 24:21
Speaker 4: Ronde Gaston's dad, I mean senior. He's been starting TJ.
• 24:24
Speaker 4: Hockinson over his son. So I think honestly he's doing
• 24:27
Speaker 4: bare minimum to stay in that slot, to kind of
• 24:30
Speaker 4: have his dad to be able to stack these wins.
• 24:32
Speaker 4: So it's kind of weird and ironic. You know, he
• 24:34
Speaker 4: bought tickets to that TJ. Howkinson show, and I can't
• 24:37
Speaker 4: believe that he's a happy customer either.
• 24:39
Speaker 1: I mean, it's gonna make Thanksgiving kind of awkward at
• 24:41
Speaker 1: the at the Gaston household.
• 24:43
Speaker 6: That's all I'm gonna say about that. All right.
• 24:46
Speaker 1: Anyway, if you want more of the starts and sich,
• 24:47
Speaker 1: you can go to the NFL dot com slash start
• 24:49
Speaker 1: and Sit and get some in depth analysis on every
• 24:52
Speaker 1: single one of the guys that we mentioned here and
• 24:54
Speaker 1: maybe even a few more. So get yourself the biggest
• 24:57
Speaker 1: Cuple forred Shotta you can find we got our spicy
• 24:59
  Speaker 1: hot takes.
• 24:59
  Speaker 6: For week nine.
• 25:00
Speaker 1: Let's probably have come up with something more Halloween theme,
• 25:03
Speaker 1: like the Scary Good Predictions for Week nine or something
• 25:06
  Speaker 1: like that.
• 25:06
Speaker 6: I liked your original prediction better than the one I'm
• 25:08
Speaker 6: seeing on the run down.
• 25:09
Speaker 1: Oh well yeah, I changed it up. No, I'm gonna
• 25:14
Speaker 1: tell you go back and look at the history on
• 25:15
Speaker 1: the documentary hit Undoe. I'm gonn look at the history
• 25:18
  Speaker 1: on this one.
• 25:19
Speaker 6: The player that Lakwan usually does not like. That's why
• 25:22
  Speaker 6: I was so.
• 25:22
Speaker 1: Excited for him. I will let you go with this
• 25:24
Speaker 1: one that you have right now.
• 25:27
Speaker 4: Listen, I will disclose that d end of who it was.
• 25:30
Speaker 4: But I have Justin Jefferson this week going for three touchdowns. Now, listen,
• 25:35
Speaker 4: JJ McCarthy is the only reason why Justin Jefferson has
• 25:39
Speaker 4: one touchdown. And Florio spoke about and I want to
• 25:41
Speaker 4: echo this in previous parts of how Justin Jefferson can
• 25:45
Speaker 4: stack those touchdowns. He can end up having three in
• 25:48
Speaker 4: this game two in the next game, like he is
• 25:50
Speaker 4: able to stack touchdowns when he has the ability. Half
• 25:53
Speaker 4: of his end zone and red zone targets have come
• 25:55
Speaker 4: from JJ McCarty Carson wentz, what were you looking at
• 25:58
Speaker 4: when it came to strike distance? It's kind of crazy
• 26:01
Speaker 4: to see that. But now with JJ coming in and
• 26:03
Speaker 4: hopefully he understands this, assignmon get the ball to eighteen
• 26:07
Speaker 4: in the end zone.
• 26:08
Speaker 1: All right, So justin Jefferson going big, we certainly all
• 26:12
Speaker 1: like that. It's Floria.
• 26:13
Speaker 6: What do you have one that you're gonna like?
• 26:15
Speaker 2: And I don't know if Lakwan will, but I think
• 26:18
Speaker 2: CMC has maybe his best game of the year. I
• 26:21
Speaker 2: think two hundred yards and two touchdowns. Because you look
• 26:24
Speaker 2: at the New York Giants, they allow over six yards
• 26:27
Speaker 2: per carry. That is the highest by far in the NFL.
• 26:31
Speaker 2: They allow explosive runs at the highest rate in the NFL.
• 26:35
Speaker 2: They are on outside zone runs. They are allowing eight
• 26:38
Speaker 2: yards per carry. That is almost a first down every
• 26:41
Speaker 2: time a running back runs out wide.
• 26:42
Speaker 6: What you're seeing Christian McCaffrey, dude, right there, he's one
• 26:45
Speaker 6: of the best in the NFL at doing it.
• 26:47
Speaker 2: I think this is not only a fantastic matchup for
• 26:49
Speaker 2: all running backs, it fits his strength strength specifically.
• 26:54
Speaker 6: And if you are the forty nine ers, who else
• 26:56
Speaker 6: are you giving the ball?
• 26:57
Speaker 2: To, you know, like you're building the entire thing around CMC,
• 27:01
Speaker 2: and I think it's a game where they could be
• 27:03
Speaker 2: playing from ahead opposed to have the last couple of
• 27:05
Speaker 2: games have gone. So I just expect this to be
• 27:07
Speaker 2: a huge Christian McCaffrey. Christian McAffrey has seventy four targets.
• 27:11
Speaker 1: I think the next closest person is like thirty nine.
• 27:14
Speaker 1: It's like, it's ridiculous the gap between the Cfcabo the
• 27:18
Speaker 1: best receiver in the NFC West might at this point,
• 27:24
Speaker 1: He's definitely the most used receiver in the NFC WES
• 27:27
Speaker 1: without a doubt. Speaking of a guy getting a lot
• 27:29
Speaker 1: of usage, Kamani dal I got him going for a
• 27:31
Speaker 1: buck fifty against the Titans coming up this week. He
• 27:34
Speaker 1: is the last couple of weeks really been a workhorse
• 27:37
Speaker 1: in this offense, about seventy percent of the snaps, seventy
• 27:40
Speaker 1: percent of the rushing attempts. It's a great matchup, first
• 27:43
Speaker 1: of all against a bad Titans run defense, but also
• 27:46
Speaker 1: I expect that the Chargers will have a lead in
• 27:48
Speaker 1: the second half and you could see them just feeding
• 27:51
Speaker 1: Vadal over and over and over again. He's gone over
• 27:54
Speaker 1: one hundred and fifteen yards in two of his last
• 27:56
Speaker 1: three games. I think he makes it three out of
• 27:58
Speaker 1: four in a big way this one, and some bonuses
• 28:02
Speaker 1: if he finds the end zone at least once in
• 28:04
  Speaker 1: this contest.
• 28:05
Speaker 6: So there you go.
• 28:06
Speaker 3: Those are our hot takes.
• 28:08
Speaker 5: You guys, want to know what my other one version?
• 28:10
Speaker 1: I want you? Actually, actually I actually checked it. I
• 28:12
Speaker 1: cheated and looked, but I do want to hear you
• 28:13
Speaker 1: say it out loud.
• 28:14
  Speaker 5: Ah.
• 28:15
Speaker 4: Well, I had Christian Watson going for one hundred and
• 28:17
Speaker 4: fifty plus yards against the Panthers. Now I pulled that
• 28:20
  Speaker 4: back because I came a faked like I can't fake
• 28:23
Speaker 4: the hype, fake the funk for players that I genuinely
• 28:25
Speaker 4: don't like on my rosters. I mean, look, it just
• 28:28
Speaker 4: it just feels like, you know, this would be the
• 28:30
Speaker 4: week that he would explode. But the Panthers they're not
• 28:33
Speaker 4: the defense that we knew in love back in the
• 28:35
Speaker 4: past where you could just beat up on them. They No,
• 28:37
Speaker 4: they're no longer their defense you could bully like. They're
• 28:39
Speaker 4: allowing the fewest completion percentage on downfield throws. And this
• 28:43
Speaker 4: is all where Christian Watson really gets all the meat
• 28:45
Speaker 4: and potatoes of his fantasy points. So he's honestly a
• 28:48
Speaker 4: sit this week for me.
• 28:50
Speaker 1: All right. So Christian Watson was in, now Christian Watson
• 28:53
Speaker 1: is out. Boom boom. All right, goodfice for us to stay.
• 28:59
Speaker 6: You did that very well, but thank you. I appreciate you.
• 29:02
Speaker 1: That's one of my weird, useless talents, but I appreciate that.
• 29:06
Speaker 1: All right. That is it. We are done. We appreciate
• 29:09
Speaker 1: you hanging out with the NFL Fantasy Football Show.
• 29:11
Speaker 6: You know the drill.
• 29:12
Speaker 1: Tell two friends to tell two friends rate review and
• 29:14
Speaker 1: remember taking a dog named Shark to the beach. It's
• 29:16
Speaker 1: a bad idea. Be safe to take care of yourselves.
• 29:19
Speaker 1: Enjoy Week nine, everybody.
• 29:20
Speaker 3: We'll talk to you again on Monday.
