Neosho Police Reject Flock Cameras | Joplin News
Neosho Police Chief Peter Russell draws a firm line against Flock cameras, declaring the department will not use or touch the system—prioritizing civil liberties and constitutional rights over surveillance tech. While neighboring departments like Joplin and Pittsburg embrace Flock for its tools, Neosho stands firm, citing past abuses and wrongful charges tied to the technology. This bold stance signals a commitment to policing rooted in protecting individual freedoms, not monitoring citizens.
