- 0:11Speaker 1: Welcome to Girls Gone Hallmark, a Hallmark review podcast. I'm
- 0:13Speaker 1: Megan and I'm a longtime Hallmark fan. I'm Wendy. I'm
- 0:16Speaker 1: a former Hallmark hater. It's time for our April First
- 0:20Speaker 1: Impressions episode, where we run down everything coming to Hallmark
- 0:23Speaker 1: Channel in the month of April and we give you
- 0:25Speaker 1: our first impressions. It's as simple as that. What's also
- 0:30Speaker 1: simple is hopping on over to Instagram and following Girls
- 0:32Speaker 1: Gone Hallmark. That's where we drop the absolute most information
- 0:37Speaker 1: over there. Hey, we would love to hear from you guys.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Please email us at Hello at Girlscnhollmark dot com especially,
- 0:46Speaker 1: we are dying to know what you're looking forward to
- 0:50Speaker 1: with the April movies. I'm gonna guess it might be
- 0:53Speaker 1: the Tyler Hines movie. I man, I'd say that's a
- 0:56Speaker 1: safe bet. So let's let's do a quick little rundown
- 1:02Speaker 1: of what's going on in April. We are in spring
- 1:04Speaker 1: and to love. This is one of those Hallmark activations,
- 1:09Speaker 1: if you will, that doesn't have like a it doesn't
- 1:12Speaker 1: fit neatly into a month like January is whatever. January.
- 1:17Speaker 1: It's not New Year New Movies anymore, is it? It
- 1:19Speaker 1: was Winter Escape. Yes, then Love Youary, now we have
- 1:22Speaker 1: Spring into Love. We'll Spring into Love started in the
- 1:24Speaker 1: middle of March with two for Tea, then a royal setting,
- 1:29Speaker 1: and now we're hopping into the four April movies that
- 1:32Speaker 1: will round out the Spring into Love lineup. I mean,
- 1:34Speaker 1: it's not that big of a deal. I don't I
- 1:36Speaker 1: don't think they need to tie themselves to the monthly theme. Fine,
- 1:42Speaker 1: it's Spring is six weeks do six six weeks of movies.
- 1:45Speaker 1: It's fine, It's fine. Yeah, I'm not even sure that
- 1:48Speaker 1: they need to be like grouped together like this totally.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I agree, Like I feel like it sometimes locks us
- 1:54Speaker 1: into like I need four to six Spring movies and
- 1:58Speaker 1: just just play a movie, man, play a good movie. Yeah,
- 2:02Speaker 1: that's all your viewers want is a good movie. Later
- 2:05Speaker 1: this episode, we will also be discussing what I'm actually
- 2:09Speaker 1: looking forward to the most outside of a new Heini movie.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I I can't wait to talk about it. It's the
- 2:16Speaker 1: way Home, y'all. But let's talk movies first. I have
- 2:19Speaker 1: mixed feels because yeah, okay, okay, well we'll get there.
- 2:23Speaker 1: You do know that I never watched the last season
- 2:25Speaker 1: of Friday Night Lights because I didn't want it to
- 2:26Speaker 1: be over like it's the same thing. No, no, alright,
- 2:33Speaker 1: So movie number one, it's called The Season to Blossom.
- 2:38Speaker 1: It's premieres on Saturday, April fourth. Are you ready for
- 2:41Speaker 1: a synopsis? I am a drifting, aspiring writer returns home
- 2:46Speaker 1: to sell her late grandmother's beloved bookstore, only to find
- 2:50Speaker 1: that its traditions, it's community, and a childhood crush she
- 2:54Speaker 1: never quite got over might be exactly what she needs
- 2:57Speaker 1: to rediscover her voice, her roots, and a love worth
- 3:01Speaker 1: staying for. This stars Emily Tenant and Carlo Marx. And
- 3:06Speaker 1: this is a day spring movie. This is not Carlo
- 3:09Speaker 1: Marx first Day Spring outing. What's that about. I don't know.
- 3:13Speaker 1: He did The Blessing Bracelet two years ago. That's a
- 3:15Speaker 1: movie we did not review. I think the same thing
- 3:19Speaker 1: happened in twenty twenty three. That's happening right now in
- 3:21Speaker 1: twenty twenty six, and that is spring Break was absolutely bonkers,
- 3:24Speaker 1: and we're like, we don't have time for that this year.
- 3:26Speaker 1: We're like, we're just gonna record nine hundred episodes ahead
- 3:29Speaker 1: of time. Yeah, yeah, so we will be talking. Did
- 3:33Speaker 1: you say anything about Emily Tenant? I mean, I said
- 3:35Speaker 1: she stars in it. I'm did you a total side
- 3:38Speaker 1: note here? My sister in law loves Carlo Marx and
- 3:43Speaker 1: asked me at how Christmas China Carlo Marx. She picks
- 3:47Speaker 1: up like a Hallmark movie. I got it. We're in there, right,
- 3:50Speaker 1: I don't know Carlo Marx is her Tyler Hines. She
- 3:52Speaker 1: asked me at Christmas time, She's like, do you know
- 3:54Speaker 1: if Carlo Marx is going to be in any Hallmark movies?
- 3:57Speaker 1: I was like, not a Christmas note. And then when
- 4:00Speaker 1: I saw his name on this list, I sent terror text.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I was like, yo, heads up Carlo Marx April fourth,
- 4:05Speaker 1: and she's like, oh my god, he's such a gem. No, No,
- 4:09Speaker 1: she's so excited. Well, I'm so excited for her. She's
- 4:13Speaker 1: kinda start the Marxists. No what he needs a hashtag?
- 4:20Speaker 1: Sure does. Look I'm glad to see Emily Tenant out
- 4:23Speaker 1: of the supporting role. We saw her there in the
- 4:27Speaker 1: airplane movie Christmas Above the Clouds and we're like, what
- 4:29Speaker 1: are we doing here? Like I love her, but put
- 4:31Speaker 1: her back in the lead. Directing is Terry Ingram. I
- 4:35Speaker 1: mean gotta love Terry Ingram. Did you know Terry Ingram
- 4:39Speaker 1: worked on Harold and Kumar Go to Whitecastle, though I
- 4:46Speaker 1: did not. He was an eighty in two thousand and
- 4:48Speaker 1: four on Harold and Kumar. I wonder how hilarious if
- 4:52Speaker 1: he worked on the future Harold and Kumar movies. Anyway,
- 4:56Speaker 1: that's one of my husband's favorite movies. Look Terry Ingram
- 5:00Speaker 1: prolific director one hundred to two acting credits. Last directed
- 5:03Speaker 1: The Three Wisest Men. We know we're going to get
- 5:06Speaker 1: a solid feature out of him. The writer, however, is
- 5:12Speaker 1: basically brand new Jennifer Wolfgraham. Oh interesting, Yeah, she really
- 5:17Speaker 1: has only one previous credit and it's not homemark. We
- 5:22Speaker 1: cannot say what to expect out of this at all.
- 5:26Speaker 1: I have a question for you, Yeah, how do you
- 5:29Speaker 1: since the day Spring movies are a little more faith forward,
- 5:34Speaker 1: this is the Easter movie for sure, how do you
- 5:38Speaker 1: feel about these movies in general? I am tentative about
- 5:43Speaker 1: these movies in general. We have seen faith forward movies
- 5:47Speaker 1: that I have enjoyed, and I'm thinking of the Jeff
- 5:50Speaker 1: Beasley directed following Yonder Star, lovely beautiful movie. I think
- 5:56Speaker 1: it all just depends on how it's handled. And then
- 6:00Speaker 1: there's certainly other properties out there making faith forward movies
- 6:04Speaker 1: that are not my vibe. So yeah, we shall see.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Jennifer Wolfgram, the writer. Her only other writing credit is
- 6:11Speaker 1: as a staff writer on a series. Oh, I mean
- 6:13Speaker 1: this could be a good thing, could be great, I
- 6:15Speaker 1: mean a new voice. Yeah, we just don't know, right,
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you, looking at the list, this is
- 6:22Speaker 1: the one I'm least looking forward to, no shade. I
- 6:26Speaker 1: just have a hard time and like getting super excited
- 6:28Speaker 1: about it, sure, especially because it like follows this sort
- 6:32Speaker 1: of like coming Home premise, which I don't totally love, right,
- 6:38Speaker 1: like childhood Crush and family Business right yeah yeah yeah,
- 6:44Speaker 1: And so I get worried, like this writer is like,
- 6:47Speaker 1: oh this is what this is what a Hallmark wants. Yeah.
- 6:51Speaker 1: So I mean we'll have to see. I mean, look,
- 6:55Speaker 1: many many times I've been surprised. So who knows? Who knows?
- 7:01Speaker 1: Next up is A Little Park Music, premiering on Saturday,
- 7:04Speaker 1: April eleventh. The synopsis is when a mysterious piano appears
- 7:09Speaker 1: in a park gazebo and starts interfering with important city business.
- 7:14Speaker 1: No nonsense city manager Alli teams up with rookie cop
- 7:18Speaker 1: Ryan to have it removed. What neither of them plans
- 7:21Speaker 1: on is discovering that some things like music and love
- 7:24Speaker 1: are a lot harder to get rid of than expected.
- 7:28Speaker 1: This is so weird. It's a magical piano that just
- 7:35Speaker 1: appears in the park and then it's interfering. You have
- 7:38Speaker 1: an inanimate object that's interfering with city business. When I
- 7:43Speaker 1: read that line, I'm picturing it animating itself and like
- 7:46Speaker 1: the legs of piano like reach out and like trip people.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I know that's not what's happening. I know that it's
- 7:53Speaker 1: not like a sentient piano it's but I'm sure it
- 7:58Speaker 1: just plays music in opportune moments. That's all I can
- 8:01Speaker 1: imagine it's doing. Now. All I say is like it
- 8:04Speaker 1: springs to life like buzz and woody at nighttime, and
- 8:08Speaker 1: like has a whole park full of like inanimate objects
- 8:12Speaker 1: that are you know, ruining the city. The piano on
- 8:16Speaker 1: the bench are conspiring. The gazebo is like Beauty and
- 8:22Speaker 1: the Beast, like the chest drawers. Yeah, yep, yep, exactly
- 8:26Speaker 1: what what is happening here? Well, I mean, look at
- 8:31Speaker 1: the team behind it though. I we have Lacey J.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Mayley and bow Meir Cough which Lacey's great. I love her.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Bow's okay, I'm sorry, no shade to bow. I just
- 8:44Speaker 1: bow catch strays over here. I can't even name one
- 8:48Speaker 1: movie other than Ride that bow mir Cow has been
- 8:52Speaker 1: in right now. Wasn't he in that dog sledding movie? Yeah?
- 8:58Speaker 1: Was he the Keith Nielsen? Yeah, the finish Line. He
- 9:01Speaker 1: was in the finish Line. Okay, I did love that movie.
- 9:04Speaker 1: He was also in the Netflix series Boots Gone Too Soon.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I was a real bummer. I didn't know he was
- 9:09Speaker 1: in that. Yeah he was. Okay, all right, Well, maybe
- 9:15Speaker 1: Bo Mirakoff is gonna surprise me here too. I will
- 9:18Speaker 1: tell you it is directed by your fave, Peter Benson.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Peter Benson. Peter recently directed Sugar and Vice, the Hannis
- 9:27Speaker 1: Winson Mystery back in March, and now he's back in April.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Let's bring that Peter Benson. What are you doing here? Energy?
- 9:36Speaker 1: We're gonna see him in the movie. I'm sure, I know.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I can't wait. I hope he has some sort of
- 9:43Speaker 1: like you know the movie that you did not like,
- 9:45Speaker 1: the Cupid movie. We have Cupid in that movie. I'm
- 9:49Speaker 1: imagining him as some sort of like magical creature in
- 9:53Speaker 1: this movie. Oh my god, we have completely put into
- 9:57Speaker 1: the universe that this is some sort of like magical
- 10:00Speaker 1: realism Mary Poppins. It has magical realism. It has a
- 10:03Speaker 1: magical piano. I look, I probably not Dancing Penguin's level
- 10:08Speaker 1: of magical realism, though, I age. We don't have a
- 10:11Speaker 1: writer on this movie yet, not one that is publicly available.
- 10:15Speaker 1: If this is a Julie Sherman wolf movie, then this
- 10:17Speaker 1: isn't going to be like kooky like how I see
- 10:19Speaker 1: it in my head. You know, a Wineman movie. It's
- 10:22Speaker 1: not going to be like this. One's one to look
- 10:25Speaker 1: out for. I could go, it could go any direction.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Pure curiosity has got me agree, Well, it's not going
- 10:34Speaker 1: to be trophy most likely. You think I'm picturing the
- 10:40Speaker 1: Hallmark boardroom. They're like, okay, here us out. There's a
- 10:43Speaker 1: mysterious piano in the middle of the park and it's
- 10:47Speaker 1: playing music, and not that old time rag timy music
- 10:50Speaker 1: that like a player piano would play, but like a
- 10:52Speaker 1: grand piano, and it's just there. A grand piano is
- 10:56Speaker 1: what you're envisioning. Yes, what are you envisioning? Like a
- 11:00Speaker 1: real cute, retro looking piano, like an upright like a keyboard,
- 11:04Speaker 1: not a keyboard, like an upright piano like you might
- 11:07Speaker 1: see in a saloon. Oh god, I hope not. You know,
- 11:15Speaker 1: when you go into Nordstrum, I don't think they have
- 11:17Speaker 1: this anymore, but for you they don't. Oh, it's so sad.
- 11:20Speaker 1: They had a piano player for years and years and
- 11:23Speaker 1: loved it. And I can remember being with a friend,
- 11:28Speaker 1: uh and when we were teenagers and she walked back,
- 11:31Speaker 1: She's like, oh, I wish you would play under the Sea,
- 11:33Speaker 1: and he just like immediately transitioned to like da Dad.
- 11:38Speaker 1: It was so cute, like they would play, you know,
- 11:41Speaker 1: all kinds of class piano versions of regulars. I loved that.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I mean, look, that was peak Nordstrum. I know I
- 11:49Speaker 1: miss the nord Strum piano player anyway, hope it's that vibe.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Let's let's move on. The next movie is called to
- 12:03Speaker 1: Philly with Love at premieres on Saturday, April eighteenth. A
- 12:07Speaker 1: teacher and an archivist find themselves drawn together when they
- 12:11Speaker 1: begin decoding a set of Revolutionary War era love letters. Guys,
- 12:17Speaker 1: can you hear it in my voice? He's out. Their
- 12:21Speaker 1: investigation takes them on a thrilling journey through the streets
- 12:24Speaker 1: of Philadelphia, where they uncover hidden history and discover that
- 12:28Speaker 1: their own story might be worth writing to. Look, Wendy
- 12:33Speaker 1: has tapped out already the start of this movie are
- 12:36Speaker 1: Rebecca Dalton and Stephen Who's Our? Stephen Who's are? I
- 12:39Speaker 1: do believe redeemed himself in your Eyes in the Melt
- 12:43Speaker 1: My Heart This Christmas? Oh yeah, like the Jane Mysteries
- 12:48Speaker 1: where he appears shirtless, Well sure yes, and Melt My
- 12:52Speaker 1: Heart This Christmas. I didn't really enjoy that movie as well,
- 12:56Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm looking forward to Stephen Who's Our for sure.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Worth noting. The director of this movie also did direct
- 13:01Speaker 1: Melt My Heart This Christmas yay, so they're familiar with
- 13:07Speaker 1: each other. Also worth noting. Like her other Hallmark directing
- 13:12Speaker 1: projects include a couple of the Unwrapping Christmas movies, a
- 13:17Speaker 1: movie of The Love Club, and then a lot of
- 13:20Speaker 1: Hallmark adjacent movies. Got It, So I'm I'm thinking this
- 13:25Speaker 1: might be an acquisition potentially, but potentially we don't know
- 13:30Speaker 1: anything about the writer for this movie at the time
- 13:32Speaker 1: of this recording. Yeah, I do kind of enjoy Philadelphia
- 13:38Speaker 1: as a setting. I don't feel like that's a city
- 13:41Speaker 1: we get a ton of movies at Hallmark Movies in Yes, However,
- 13:46Speaker 1: the research that I've done does not suggest that this
- 13:48Speaker 1: was filmed in Philadelphia. So we're gonna think I thought that. No,
- 13:52Speaker 1: I know that. But I'm just saying, like I'm nervous
- 13:56Speaker 1: about Canada as Philadelphia stand in because Philadelphia obviously has
- 14:01Speaker 1: some very iconically historical spots. And yeh, you know, how
- 14:08Speaker 1: are we going to have the very first public library
- 14:11Speaker 1: as some like random Vancouver building. Sure? Sure are we
- 14:16Speaker 1: going to have a green screened Liberty bell? You know
- 14:19Speaker 1: what I mean? Maybe they went to Philly. I doubt it.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Who do you think plays the teacher and who do
- 14:26Speaker 1: you think is the archivist? Oh, Rebecca Dalton's probably the teacher, right, Well,
- 14:38Speaker 1: maybe it could really go either way, but yeah, she's
- 14:42Speaker 1: probably the teacher. But you know, Stephen, who's our as
- 14:47Speaker 1: an archivist, does potentially give him the opportunity to look
- 14:52Speaker 1: a little bit rugged. Like I know, archivist and archaeologists
- 14:56Speaker 1: are not the same thing, but in my mind, this
- 14:58Speaker 1: archivist is dressed like an archaeolic, just like a little
- 15:01Speaker 1: little Indiana Jonesy. I have a feeling you're hoping he
- 15:06Speaker 1: is wearing a loosely buttoned Sure, that's not where I
- 15:11Speaker 1: was going. I was going to say the what you
- 15:14Speaker 1: call the Ryan gossling slutty glasses. Oh yeah, I wouldn't
- 15:18Speaker 1: mind that. Next is I'll Be Seeing You, premiering on Saturday,
- 15:24Speaker 1: April twenty fifth. When a work errand derails Amy's weekend
- 15:28Speaker 1: plans with her grandma, the two women decide to make
- 15:32Speaker 1: the most of it by embarking on a road trip
- 15:34Speaker 1: together with one very sentimental detour along the way. But
- 15:38Speaker 1: they'll need the help of a charming activities director to
- 15:44Speaker 1: make it all happen. Megan, I want to almost refrain
- 15:48Speaker 1: from saying anything because the last several times I've said
- 15:51Speaker 1: anything about Tyler Hines, I know the people come for
- 15:54Speaker 1: you blowback I ever received. So I'm just say, this
- 16:00Speaker 1: is gonna be amazing. You know, we think we know
- 16:06Speaker 1: what they're gonna say, and we just don't. So I
- 16:10Speaker 1: think I think that's why Tyler Hines did EP this project.
- 16:13Speaker 1: It's his very first Oh that's cool. Interestingly enough, though,
- 16:17Speaker 1: I for me, I don't know why. When I think
- 16:20Speaker 1: Tyler Hines executive producing, I'm like Shirley he's gonna work
- 16:23Speaker 1: with someone he's he's worked with a lot. That's not
- 16:27Speaker 1: the case though, in terms of either our writers or
- 16:30Speaker 1: our directors. Our director has several Hallmark directing credits, A
- 16:36Speaker 1: couple Aurora te Guard and tip Line Joya Noel Dream,
- 16:40Speaker 1: Mom's Parish Proposal. None of these are Tyler Hines joins.
- 16:46Speaker 1: And then our writing team Joey Elkins and Blake Silver,
- 16:51Speaker 1: same thing they have. They wrote tightings for the season
- 16:55Speaker 1: Game of Love Ontumn in the City. Again, none of
- 16:58Speaker 1: these Tyler Hines movies. They have Homewark experience, but not
- 17:01Speaker 1: Tyler Hines experience, and so I don't know what to expect.
- 17:05Speaker 1: It's not like Tyler Hines working with Julie Sherman Wolf
- 17:08Speaker 1: on the Chiefs movie. Yeah, which the way, where the
- 17:12Speaker 1: heck is Julie Sherman Wolf. It's been too long. It
- 17:17Speaker 1: was since last freaking summer. It was the Barcelona movies
- 17:21Speaker 1: were her last two movies. Oh, you're right, you're right,
- 17:24Speaker 1: she did do those. Mm hmm, too long, it's been
- 17:28Speaker 1: too long. How do you feel about Tyler Hines and
- 17:31Speaker 1: Stacey Farber? This again, is not a pairing that we
- 17:35Speaker 1: have seen before. Uhh I like both me too. It
- 17:40Speaker 1: could be interesting. Look, is this a road trip like
- 17:44Speaker 1: with a it's a it's a granddaughter grandma road trip. Yeah,
- 17:49Speaker 1: but Christine Eversol as the grandmother, I know, I recognize
- 17:52Speaker 1: the name. I don't know what she's been in. Stacy Farber.
- 17:56Speaker 1: I loved her in Hanukkah on the Rocks. I loved
- 17:58Speaker 1: that movie. I actually I really like her and the
- 18:00Speaker 1: Spencer sisters too. Since then, she she's been in a
- 18:06Speaker 1: number of episodes of Virgin River, She's joined the cast
- 18:10Speaker 1: of Brilliant Minds. She's been on six episodes recently. I
- 18:12Speaker 1: don't know if she's like there permanently going forward. What
- 18:16Speaker 1: do you think about this pairing. I'm here for it.
- 18:19Speaker 1: I like that we get Stacy Farber because we don't
- 18:21Speaker 1: get her in a ton of things. But she always
- 18:23Speaker 1: surprises me. I always find her very enjoyable. This is
- 18:29Speaker 1: reading to me, this is the blowback that I got
- 18:31Speaker 1: on the previous movie too, But this is reading to
- 18:33Speaker 1: me that it's like heavy on the granddaughter and grandmother.
- 18:39Speaker 1: And then Tyler comes in as like an accessory. You know,
- 18:43Speaker 1: I hear what you're saying, and so it's it's not
- 18:46Speaker 1: going to be a Tyler Hines vehicle, much the way
- 18:48Speaker 1: Christmas Above the Clouds was not a Tyler Heineses vehicle. Right, Yeah,
- 18:53Speaker 1: I guess we shall see. Yeah. I mean, I'm all
- 18:56Speaker 1: for Tyler Hines. I enjoy his movies. Oh look, I
- 19:01Speaker 1: like Tyler Hines. I know a lot of people say, like, oh,
- 19:02Speaker 1: he's the same character in every movie, and the reality
- 19:05Speaker 1: is I like that character, Like, I'm into that. Yeah,
- 19:08Speaker 1: me too. So, I mean, the man has been nicknamed
- 19:12Speaker 1: Golden Delicious. That's a term of endearment. Exactly, Okay, exactly.
- 19:20Speaker 1: It's time to discuss the fact that The Way Home
- 19:22Speaker 1: does premiere in April. Season four, the final season premiere's Sunday,
- 19:27Speaker 1: April nineteenth. This is the as mentioned, the fourth and
- 19:30Speaker 1: final season. We're back on Sundays, which I'm happy about
- 19:35Speaker 1: me too. Last year was a big kerfuffle. They were
- 19:39Speaker 1: going to move to Homemark Plus then they were backlash,
- 19:41Speaker 1: so they're like, Okay, we'll be on Fridays, and nobody
- 19:44Speaker 1: wanted that, And I think that hurt the show, do
- 19:47Speaker 1: you I do? I do think that hurt the show.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Here's what's interesting. Seasons one through three have aired on
- 19:53Speaker 1: Netflix which is great. I love that for them. I
- 19:56Speaker 1: feel like that's my last hope, is that maybe that
- 19:59Speaker 1: audience on Netflix will be what gets us like another
- 20:02Speaker 1: season on another network, but maybe not. I don't know.
- 20:05Speaker 1: It's I don't want to put too much hope out there,
- 20:08Speaker 1: but that has had a new renewed interest. Like if
- 20:13Speaker 1: I look at our podcast downloads, we haven't had someone
- 20:15Speaker 1: emails she's like, wait, I don't understand. Your episodes came
- 20:19Speaker 1: out a year ago, but these just dropped and you know,
- 20:21Speaker 1: they didn't realize that this was a Hallmark series. So
- 20:27Speaker 1: it's really interesting, like we have a whole new audience
- 20:29Speaker 1: and this is the first season that's aired on Hallmarks
- 20:32Speaker 1: since that new audience has been introduced on Netflix, and
- 20:34Speaker 1: so part of me really hopes that we'll get an
- 20:38Speaker 1: influx of Hallmark watchers, although people are probably gonna be like, eh,
- 20:41Speaker 1: I'll just wait six months till it's on Netflix. I
- 20:43Speaker 1: don't know. Yeah, but part of me wants to like
- 20:46Speaker 1: stick it to Hallmark and be like, look, your numbers
- 20:48Speaker 1: were blown out of the water with these premieres. Yeah,
- 20:52Speaker 1: I know, I know. I think it's just crazy to
- 20:57Speaker 1: me that they canceled this show why the Heart has
- 21:02Speaker 1: thirteen seasons and like, I'm happy for them. I'm not
- 21:04Speaker 1: suggesting they shouldn't be working either, but what are we doing?
- 21:08Speaker 1: I just don't there's so much story to tell. I
- 21:11Speaker 1: feel like, I know, maybe it was too expensive to make.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Maybe they didn't feel like it had the viewership. I
- 21:17Speaker 1: don't know, but it I'm very unhappy about it. I
- 21:23Speaker 1: will say I do think I need to perhaps do
- 21:26Speaker 1: a binge rewatch. Oh, I kind of feel the same
- 21:29Speaker 1: to get caught up because maybe even from the beginning, Yeah,
- 21:34Speaker 1: because the beginning, there are so many things that we
- 21:38Speaker 1: need to know about. I will say that the preview
- 21:41Speaker 1: showed Dell on a horse. Oh now, perhaps one of
- 21:48Speaker 1: my craziest conspiracy theories is that horse has meaning, and
- 21:54Speaker 1: I think we moved away from that on the later
- 21:57Speaker 1: part of season three. But I am convinced that there
- 21:59Speaker 1: is something about Sam and that horse that's meaningful, and
- 22:03Speaker 1: until this series ends, I will hold out hope there
- 22:08Speaker 1: is something meaningful about that horse. You are so funny.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I did see in the preview they are venturing back
- 22:16Speaker 1: to the twenties? Are you nervous about that time frame?
- 22:19Speaker 1: A little bit? A little bit only because, like I
- 22:24Speaker 1: feel like it's been done so many times. But you know,
- 22:29Speaker 1: this show has me in a choke hold. So I,
- 22:37Speaker 1: like I said at the beginning, like I'm really looking
- 22:39Speaker 1: forward to it, but I also just want time to
- 22:42Speaker 1: slow down. I don't want it to end right, And
- 22:45Speaker 1: I worry about adding this new time period because there's
- 22:47Speaker 1: so much with what we've already introduced, so many unknown questions,
- 22:53Speaker 1: it's going to add more to it. My understanding is
- 22:56Speaker 1: that they didn't find out until well into the filming
- 22:59Speaker 1: of the season that they were not going to get
- 23:01Speaker 1: an additional season, and so they scrambled in the last
- 23:04Speaker 1: couple of episodes to wrap up some storylines. If you're
- 23:08Speaker 1: going into this as a writer, me not being a writer,
- 23:10Speaker 1: nor do I have any idea what I'm talking about,
- 23:13Speaker 1: but I have to assume. Look, you are working towards
- 23:16Speaker 1: closing some of those loops and also opening up new
- 23:19Speaker 1: storylines that would make room for a new season, and
- 23:22Speaker 1: so there's just no way that we closed every loop.
- 23:26Speaker 1: It's it's just I don't think it's possible. So I'm
- 23:29Speaker 1: I'm really looking forward to it, and I'm also so sad.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I just think every episode is going to be a
- 23:34Speaker 1: little bittersweet. Yeah. Agree, Well that's a wrap on our
- 23:39Speaker 1: April first impressions. We will be reviewing every one of
- 23:43Speaker 1: these movies as well as every episode of the Way
- 23:46Speaker 1: Home over here on Girls Gone Homewark. The Girl's Gone

- 23:53Speaker 1: of time, so we hope you'll stick around, and if
