- 0:17Hello, and welcome to episode 203 of the All Systems Go sports
- 0:23Betting podcast powered by Rhythm.
- 0:26I'm your host, Josh Applebaum. What's going on, everyone?
- 0:33Happy Wednesday. We are halfway through our work
- 0:36week, marching on one day closer to one of the best betting
- 0:39weekends of the year. Although I'm going to miss some
- 0:41Saturday games, We do have a Sunday AFCNFC championship
- 0:45doubleheader. And I actually placed a wager
- 0:48today on one of those two games. And it is a play that I've been
- 0:52monitoring and I was holding out for a specific number, the
- 0:55numbers there, but I'm thinking it might not be there for long.
- 0:58So I pounced on a on a number that hopefully might show up
- 1:02later, may not. But if you were like me and have
- 1:04access to this book, you might want to consider betting this
- 1:06team right now before it moves too much.
- 1:09So I got to play for you guys early for AFC NFC Championship
- 1:12weekend. Then also right back to college
- 1:14hoops. A three pack of sweats, all
- 1:16money line plays, three overall, relatively short money line
- 1:20prices. See if we can find a way to go 2
- 1:22and one and eek out a winning day.
- 1:24Now looking back toward last night, guys 2 and 3 -, 1.6
- 1:28units. A bit of a frustrating night.
- 1:30Did have some good hits though. Texas getting it done for the
- 1:32team. Unranked home favors ranked
- 1:35opponent, which you love seeing. That was kind of back and forth
- 1:38made it made me a little sweaty late, but made some huge buckets
- 1:41and I was able to hold off Missouri and get Texas as the
- 1:44winner. And then UCLA always money line
- 1:48short favorites. I don't know how many times I
- 1:51got to say it, but UCLA was a prime example of why we do just
- 1:55that. Because UCLA opened as low as -3
- 1:58got up to -3 1/2 - 4. Did you notice the final score
- 2:028583 or was it 8483? Anyway they were up by I believe
- 2:074 points because I couldn't get access to Peacock.
- 2:10I want to shout out to some of you guys who DM me and said gave
- 2:13me some directions on how to access Peacock but I realized I
- 2:16don't pay for it and I didn't want to pay.
- 2:18I don't even know what it was. 999-1599 for a year of Peacock
- 2:22for one game. I said Nope so I was stat
- 2:24tracking it on my phone. Old school but UCLA was up by 4
- 2:28with about 5 seconds left. What happens?
- 2:31Kid on Wisconsin hits a three like at the buzzer to make it a
- 2:36one or two point game. So why is that important?
- 2:39Because that's why we money line short home favorites.
- 2:41I saw on Twitter a lot of people saying what a terrible bad beat
- 2:45UCLA -3 1/2 - 4 not for us. We got the winner there.
- 2:49That's all you money line short home favorites because you can
- 2:51have crazy backdoor or bad beat covers like that, weird final
- 2:56situations. Or you know what, if UCLA was
- 2:58down, you know one or two points and hit a buzzer beater to win
- 3:01by one or two, you still wouldn't cover that number.
- 3:04But again, money lining short home favorites always the way to
- 3:07go if you ask me. And perfect example, cashing
- 3:09UCLA on the money line. Whereas if you laid the points
- 3:12you would have lost. Now looking back to the other
- 3:14games, frustrating one with Rhode Island, they are pretty
- 3:17much in it for I don't know 6570% of the game.
- 3:20Then they got absolutely rolled late, you know, adding insult to
- 3:23injury, got plus 7 1/2. They close at +7.
- 3:26So did our part, but they unfortunately got beat up by
- 3:30VCU. And then also you look at
- 3:32Toledo, absolute no show home favorite line move, Ken palm,
- 3:37rhythm edge, then up losing by like 20.
- 3:39So that was just pathetic. No show by by Toledo.
- 3:43And it was like Kent State made every single shot.
- 3:45And then lastly, another no show by SMU.
- 3:47I don't know what it is about these short home favorites
- 3:49getting blown out. Highly unpredictable, but
- 3:52Louisville blew out SMU. So either way guys 2 and 3 -.
- 3:551.6 units as always, winning, losing, grinding, hot, cold,
- 4:00going to get right back at it. Not dwell on any losses but just
- 4:04fight and continue to scratch and claw and grind for some next
- 4:07bet mentality winners. So that being said, let's talk
- 4:11some college basketball cuz I got a three pack of plays and
- 4:14I'm excited to sweat these games here for tonight.
- 4:16So first on the board that I want to mention looking at a
- 4:19match up tonight between South Florida and Charlotte.
- 4:22It's a 7:00 game. This will be on ESPN plus and
- 4:27notice a pretty good sharp move in favor of South Florida.
- 4:30So couple things jump out to me in this one.
- 4:33Number one, if you look at well, first let's get some background
- 4:36on both these teams. South Florida comes in 10 and
- 4:39eight on the year just snapped A2 game losing streak with a 63
- 4:43to 56 win over Tulsa. They, however, did not cover
- 4:46that game. They were favored by 9 1/2
- 4:48points at home. On the other hand, Charlotte
- 4:507:00 and 12:00 on the year, they've lost seven straight,
- 4:53just fell to Memphis, 77 to 68. But they did cover that game as
- 4:57an 11 1/2 point home dog. So what do we see across the
- 4:59market here? Well, pretty clear movement in
- 5:02favor of South Florida. That's where I'm going, guys.
- 5:04I got South Florida on the money line.
- 5:07I got him at -130 But really explaining this line move,
- 5:11pretty much all movement towards South Florida.
- 5:13No real buyback that I've noticed this open.
- 5:15South Florida a very short one point Rd. favorite.
- 5:18And this is one of those games where pros seem to be not
- 5:21outsmarting themselves. And what I mean by that is, you
- 5:23know, buy low, sell high, you know, take the team of the worst
- 5:26record at home. No, they're playing South
- 5:28Florida because South Florida opened as a one point Rd.
- 5:31favorite. Now they've been bet up to -2
- 5:33some shops have even touched 2 1/2.
- 5:35So it's pretty clear all movement liability has been on
- 5:37South Florida. You get it better record versus
- 5:40Charlotte. Charlotte has lost seven
- 5:42straight. This is one of those games where
- 5:43it looks like the wise guys are just saying, hey, maybe it's not
- 5:46as much in love with South Florida as it is a combination
- 5:49of fading a Charlotte team that has lost seven in a row.
- 5:52But anyway, you got pretty good bet splits here in favor of
- 5:55South Florida at DraftKings. More than 70% of bets and
- 5:59dollars are on South Florida. I don't love the 70% public
- 6:02action, but I got to respect the line move and that higher
- 6:05dollars as well. So when I mentioned pro and Joe,
- 6:08to me that just means even though you're getting a slight
- 6:09majority of tickets, you got the line move and you got a higher
- 6:13percentage of dollars. And remember, public's betting
- 6:15these games, they're probably just saying, hey, fade
- 6:18Charlotte, they've lost seven in a row.
- 6:19South Florida's got a good record, just play South Florida.
- 6:22But you got to remember, wise guys don't care what the
- 6:24public's doing. They're not going to say, oh, we
- 6:26like South Florida, but they're getting 70% bets, so we're not
- 6:29going to play it. They don't even care about the
- 6:31percentages. They don't care about being with
- 6:33or against the public. They obviously hammered South
- 6:35Florida early minus one 1 1/2 because they thought that that
- 6:39opener was a little bit too low. Now, reason why I'm going money
- 6:43line, exact same reason that we saw with that UCLA game.
- 6:46I would hate to see South Florida win by 1 and you lose a
- 6:49-, 2 or -2 1/2. So decently cheap money line
- 6:52-130 DraftKings, you got a pretty good bet split here on
- 6:56the money line. 79% bets, 88% dollars.
- 7:00So again, good combination here, both sharp and, you know, public
- 7:04betting. Also, if you look at the money
- 7:07line, why it might be a smarter move than laying the points.
- 7:10Yeah, laying the points, you're going to save some juice.
- 7:12But Ken Palm as South Florida winning the game, but only by
- 7:15one point. He does, however, have South
- 7:18Florida ranked much higher, 171 in the country versus 247 for
- 7:22Charlotte. South Florida has a lot of
- 7:25advantages here, a lot on offense in particular, but they
- 7:28have the better offensive efficiency.
- 7:30They ranked 146 in the country versus 217 for Charlotte.
- 7:34They also have better defensive efficiency, 214 in the country
- 7:37versus 277 for Charlotte. Also big advantage here in terms
- 7:42of effective field goal percentage, better shooting 54%
- 7:46versus 47% and shooting the three.
- 7:49Hopefully they can knock down their threes 34% on the year
- 7:52versus 29% for Charlotte. 1 little caveat angle here,
- 7:56nothing huge, but you do have South Florida with a one day
- 7:58rest advantage. They last played on January
- 8:0118th. Whereas the Charlotte 49ers, I
- 8:04didn't know if you knew that that was their mascot, not the
- 8:06San Fran 49ers. The Charlotte 49ers, they last
- 8:09played on the 19th. Also, you look at conference
- 8:12play, South Florida, three and two, Charlotte O and six.
- 8:16Lastly, if we look at our friends at Rhythm for their
- 8:19prediction on this game, they have Charlotte or they have
- 8:22South Florida -2.2. So you're kind of right on that
- 8:25number. But still, Ken Palms got him
- 8:27winning by 1, Rhythms got him by 2.2.
- 8:30We got a line move. We got all movement liability.
- 8:32I'm going to play South Florida. Give me the Bulls to hopefully
- 8:35start our night off with a winner.
- 8:37USF on the money line at -130 Next one for you, our old
- 8:44friend. The added extra game.
- 8:46Sharp, obscure line move. Let's go to the Big South
- 8:50Conference. This is a 7:00 game.
- 8:52Game three O 651-330-6514. Why do I mention that?
- 8:56Because these are the games that the public has no interest in.
- 8:59Again, if you can't name me Longwood or Radford, their
- 9:03mascots, public's not going to plan.
- 9:05They're not on TV. This would be an ESPN Plus game
- 9:08though. If you want to sweat it, I
- 9:09highly recommend paying for ESPN Plus.
- 9:11They give you a lot of a lot of games, especially hockey and
- 9:14college hoops. But anyway, if you are an added
- 9:17extra game you're hard to find on the app, public has no
- 9:19interest in you. Which is why we like to look at
- 9:22line moves. Because even though the public
- 9:24may not care about Longwood and Radford tonight, if we see some
- 9:27line movement tells us that wise guys have targeted the matchup.
- 9:30So 2 pretty good teams here in the Big South.
- 9:33Longwood comes in 14 and 6. They've won three of four.
- 9:36Radford comes in 13 and seven. They've also won three of four,
- 9:39but they did just lose to Charleston Southern 58 to 54,
- 9:43whereas Longwood is coming off a win 82 to 80 against High Point.
- 9:48Now, what do we see across the market?
- 9:50All movement liability, kind of a big steam move in favor of
- 9:53Radford. Radford open this game as a very
- 9:55short one point or 1 1/2 point home favorite.
- 9:58We've now seen Radford get steamed up to -2 1/2 - 3, so
- 10:02once again added obscure game. Public doesn't care about this
- 10:06one. Can't even find it on their app
- 10:08yet. We're seeing a move here toward
- 10:09Radford. Tells me that wise guys have
- 10:11targeted Radford, which is where I want to be.
- 10:14Take a look at the bet splits here.
- 10:15Pretty good at DraftKings. 68% spread bets, 77% spread dollars.
- 10:20Money line 78% bets, 97% dollars and you'll get Circa out in
- 10:26Vegas on the spread. 38% bets, 56% dollars.
- 10:31So spread money line draftking circa pretty much any way you
- 10:35look at it, we got good sharp low bets, higher dollars in
- 10:38favor of Radford. And I wouldn't be afraid by 68%
- 10:41bets, 78% bets DraftKings because remember, that's the
- 10:45that's the obvious, you know, real percentage, but it's coming
- 10:49from a very small group of bets because it's a very low back
- 10:51game. So that's, you know, you'd see
- 10:536870 percent, 70% say, oh, that's a big public play.
- 10:56I want to go contrarian. No, you can't go contrarian in
- 10:59these tiny little games because there's not enough public to bet
- 11:01against. Dig a little deeper here though.
- 11:04Some advantages for Radford. They are the better offensive
- 11:07efficiency team. They rank 152 in the country
- 11:10versus 2O2 for Radford. Also shoot the the three better
- 11:1434% versus 30% Radford. By the way, let's hope they
- 11:19continue. There's seven and O at home this
- 11:21year, so hopefully get some good home cooking.
- 11:23It's a buy low, sell high, as I mentioned, because Radford is a
- 11:26favorite off a loss versus Longwood a dog off a win.
- 11:30And then what are our projections or predictions here?
- 11:33Say Ken Palm has Radford winning by two, Rhythm has Radford -2.4.
- 11:39So again, you're laying a three, you're saving the juice.
- 11:42But you know what? If Radford wins by one or two or
- 11:45three and you either push or lose your bet.
- 11:48I ain't going through that pain. And punishment is a money line
- 11:51play. As always, Let's protect
- 11:52ourselves like we did last night with UCLA.
- 11:55I shopped around and found Radford -150 and that was at Bet
- 11:59MGM last night of the night. Late night sweat here. 9:00.
- 12:04Florida State Seminoles and Cal should be a good match up here
- 12:08tonight, but we have a very clear sharp line move.
- 12:12Can you guess who it is? If you read my sharp report
- 12:14earlier today for visen.com, which you can always find, I'll
- 12:17tweet it out at Josh under score Insights.
- 12:19But hint, hint, let's go Seminoles.
- 12:23Little background here. Florida State comes in 13 and
- 12:265:00. They have one for their last
- 12:28five games. Just took down Georgia Tech 9178
- 12:31covered as a nine and a half point home favorite.
- 12:34You know, Cal 9:00 and 9:00 on the year just snapped A2 game
- 12:37losing skid. They beat NC State 6562.
- 12:41They won outright as a six point Rd. dog.
- 12:43A little caveat here if you want to feel old, remember Peja
- 12:47Stoyakovich, the sharpshooter with those really good Kings
- 12:50teams. The best player on Cal is his
- 12:52son, Stoyakovich Junior, and he's averaging like 18 points a
- 12:56game. So that's when you know you're
- 12:58old. But anyway, what do we see
- 13:00across the market? Clear, sharp movement toward the
- 13:03Knowles. This game open Florida State as
- 13:06a very short One Point Rd. favorite.
- 13:08And we've seen Florida State now get steamed up -1 up to -2 some
- 13:13shops, even 2 1/2. And when I played this earlier
- 13:15today, it was Florida State -1 up to -1 1/2.
- 13:19So it's always a good sign when you bet a game and you see that
- 13:21line move in your favor. Is that a guarantee that you're
- 13:24going to win? Of course not.
- 13:25Anything can happen. But it's a sign that, hey, you
- 13:27anticipated the market correctly.
- 13:30So I money lined Florida State little bit earlier today.
- 13:33I got them at -125 they're probably a little bit closer to
- 13:36-130 right now, But some good angles here for Florida State.
- 13:40One, let's take a look at Circuit out in Vegas.
- 13:43Tickets are split 5050, but the Seminoles are getting 83% of
- 13:48spread dollars, a really good low bets, higher dollars bet
- 13:51split. Basically the the the amount of
- 13:53tickets at Circa are undecided, but all the big money they're
- 13:57over 80% are going with Florida State.
- 14:00Also, there's a money line play as I mentioned, because Ken
- 14:03Palm. This will make you excited if
- 14:05you do want to lay the points, if you want to live dangerously.
- 14:09But Ken Palm has Florida State winning by three, so pretty
- 14:12decent edge. Although our friends at Rhythm
- 14:14have Florida State -2.1, the other angle here is when, you
- 14:17know, when you're favored by two or three on the road, you know,
- 14:20neutral site. If you apply homecourt, probably
- 14:23neutral site. Florida State is, you know -5
- 14:25something like that. But because you have, you know,
- 14:28Rhythm 2.1, Ken Palm 3, the lines around 2 1/2.
- 14:32Let's just, let's just add some, some security here and root for
- 14:35Florida State to win the game. That's why I got again -125 now
- 14:39around -130 Ken Palm does have, however, the Seminoles ranked
- 14:43quite a bit higher, 62 in the country versus 129 for Cal.
- 14:48And here's a few things I'm going to lean on for Florida
- 14:50State. One, way better defensive
- 14:52efficiency. They really get after you on
- 14:54defense. They're ranked 50th in the
- 14:56country. You'll get Cal, they're ranked
- 14:58273. That's a big, big edge there
- 15:01defensively in favor of the Knowles.
- 15:03Seminoles also ranked 37th in the country in terms of forcing
- 15:06turnovers. So when they're defending, hey,
- 15:08they're picking pockets, you know, blocking shots, getting
- 15:11out in transition versus the Golden Bears, ranking 250th,
- 15:15They really do not turn you over.
- 15:18Florida State better field goal percentage, 47% versus 44%.
- 15:22And if you look at conference play, Florida State four and
- 15:25three, not bad. Cal is 2 and 5:00.
- 15:28So I guess the theme of the night here guys is short
- 15:31favorites with a line move in their favor.
- 15:33We have matches with South Florida, Radford and now Florida
- 15:37State, all three on the money line.
- 15:39Can we go 2 and one and eke out a winning night?
- 15:41That is the goal. Now to finish up the pod, I
- 15:45wanted to talk about my first bet that I've placed for the AFC
- 15:49NFC Championship weekend. Now going into it, I kind of
- 15:53gave you some thoughts. I was initially looking at
- 15:56Kansas City. I still am.
- 15:58You know, they were minus one 1 1/2.
- 16:00They did get up to two at some shops.
- 16:03They did come back down to 1 1/2.
- 16:05So maybe there's some buyback on Buffalo.
- 16:07But I gave you all those stats pretty good bet splits in favor
- 16:10of Kansas City. And if you also look at some of
- 16:14these Mahomes angles that I gave you, you know, I actually I
- 16:18mentioned the story. I want to thank everybody who
- 16:21tuned into the Tuesday sweats that we do, which was stream
- 16:24live on TikTok, which again, glad it's back, as well as
- 16:30Instagram and X Twitter, whatever.
- 16:34But I mentioned the stat and again, thank you for tuning in.
- 16:36It's every Tuesday, 4:00 till usually around 5:00.
- 16:39But I was talking about how the story of when I learned to never
- 16:44bet against Mahomes and I learned to never bet against
- 16:46Mahomes by losing by betting against him.
- 16:49So if you remember, it was a couple years ago, it was the
- 16:52Chiefs Eagle Super Bowl. I kind of remember things in a
- 16:56weird way. I remember that was it was the
- 16:59time when there was the Chinese spy balloon that was flying over
- 17:01the country and we had my in laws visiting from California
- 17:05and my mother-in-law made this dinner called all Bondi Gus.
- 17:09If you never had it, it is so good.
- 17:12There's base like meatballs in this amazing soup with potatoes
- 17:15and it's just it's the best. But anyway, I was watching the
- 17:19game with my wife and my mother and father-in-law all excited,
- 17:25you know, locked and loaded drinks are flown.
- 17:26We're all ready to bet the game. And my father-in-law, he's
- 17:30always interested in sports betting and he doesn't really
- 17:32bet himself, but he always asked me about the lines.
- 17:34And he's like, oh, who you going here with?
- 17:37And I told him I went with the Eagles and I gave him, you know,
- 17:39my reasoning. And he said, really, you're
- 17:42going to bet against Mahomes. And once he said that, I'm like,
- 17:45oh, I'm screwed, even though again, I love my father-in-law,
- 17:49but he's kind of a, you know, I guess you'd call him like a
- 17:51public better or public mindset. He doesn't really look at line
- 17:54movement or any of that kind of stuff.
- 17:55But I was like, oh, that's a bad omen.
- 17:57This was right before the game started.
- 17:59So what ends up happening? You know, Eagles actually were
- 18:02winning at one point. They blow it.
- 18:03Kansas City wins. And I made a vow to myself after
- 18:06losing by betting against Mahomes, then I will never bet
- 18:09against Mahomes again. And you know what guys, since I
- 18:12made that declaration, remember we Declaration of Independence
- 18:16from Britain as Americans. Well, that's my declaration to
- 18:19never bet against Mahomes again. And you know what?
- 18:22Since I made that declaration, I haven't lost a bet.
- 18:25I've been playing Mahomes in these spots and he's been coming
- 18:27through for me. So I figure, hey, if it ain't
- 18:29broke, don't fix it. Biggest example was when I got
- 18:33sent out to Vegas for the Super Bowl last year, which was a ton
- 18:36of fun. And everyone was telling me you
- 18:38got to play San Fran. And I basically from day one
- 18:40kept saying, you know, Mahomes is a as a favorite or Mahomes is
- 18:44a dog in that spot. Actually it was, I think it was
- 18:47plus 1 1/2 or plus one in that game against San Fran.
- 18:51But big games I'm not betting against Mahomes.
- 18:53So what I'm thinking here guys is even though I haven't played
- 18:56it yet because it's a low number.
- 18:57And again, there was some buyback, like if you money line
- 19:00Mahomes yesterday, you know, that price was a little bit
- 19:03higher. Like I want to say yesterday it
- 19:06was like -130 now it's down to -125 So I'm just going to wait
- 19:10that thing out, You know? You do like the splits though.
- 19:12In Kansas City, they're only getting 35% of bets at
- 19:15DraftKings on the money line, 32%, but 51% dollars, circa 43%
- 19:22tickets, 66% money on the spread money line, 36 percent, 67%
- 19:27dollars. So that looks like a fade.
- 19:28The trendy dog play to me. Again, we're Publix playing
- 19:31Buffalo, but looks like sharps based on the move, even though
- 19:34it's come back a bit still like in Kansas City.
- 19:37And I gave out these stats, I believe I want to say maybe a
- 19:39little bit earlier, but Mahomes 54 and 12 straight up at home,
- 19:4443 and 10 straight up in the regular season, 11 and two
- 19:47straight up in the postseason. Chiefs do have a one day rest
- 19:50advantage. Remember, they played in that
- 19:52divisional round on Saturday versus Bills, the late game on
- 19:55Sunday. And again, rest first tired.
- 19:58You know, Kansas City sat there guys week 18 and they had a buy.
- 20:01You know, Buffaloes played every game and had to play a physical
- 20:04game against the against the Ravens.
- 20:07So I'm going to most likely be on Kansas City.
- 20:10But again, I'm waiting it out for the exact reason of over the
- 20:13last 24 hours, it came back a little bit to Buffalo.
- 20:16And again, whether I get them at -120 -, 130, you know, it'll
- 20:20probably be a money line. And you know, there's, I don't
- 20:22really see any, it's not around a key number.
- 20:25Maybe the juice will go up or down a bit.
- 20:27But I'm going to just continue to wait that thing out because I
- 20:29don't think there's a huge, you know, impetus to to play it
- 20:32right now. However, I think there is a
- 20:35reason to play Washington. The Commanders, baby.
- 20:38This is the bet that I made today.
- 20:40Commanders plus 6 1/2. This is a very important shop
- 20:43for the best line play because the only book right now that's
- 20:46offering 6 1/2, at least that I can see from all my legal books
- 20:50in Massachusetts is FanDuel. FanDuel is plus 6 1/2 -, 120.
- 20:54And I'll be honest with you guys, I was waiting for a seven.
- 20:57Maybe it goes to seven. But one thing I noticed from
- 21:00yesterday's pod to today is yesterday there were a couple 6
- 21:05and a halfs and there were a lot of minus sixes that were Philly
- 21:08-6 -, 115 - 120 looking like again, it will go to 6 1/2
- 21:13across the board painted as my buddy Patrick Maher likes to
- 21:16say. However, I woke up today and
- 21:19I've been looking at the the lines all day.
- 21:21The juice is even at a lot of shops now plus 6 - 110 - 6 -
- 21:26110. So the juice is evening out.
- 21:28It was showing liability and looking like it was going to go
- 21:31to 6 1/2. Now it looks like it's kind of
- 21:33right where the books want it to be at 6:00.
- 21:36So I said to myself, the hook could be huge.
- 21:39You lose by 6. I want to win by bet my bet.
- 21:41So I put in Washington +6 and half again, you got to get go to
- 21:44FanDuel. I have no affiliation with
- 21:47FanDuel. I'm not hyping them up.
- 21:48I'm just telling you that's the only book right now that that's
- 21:51still has the hook. I will admit though, early on,
- 21:55Philly looked like they were the sharp bet.
- 21:58Philly open as low as -4 1/2. They got bet up to five, then 5
- 22:021/2, then six. If you look at the splits on
- 22:05Philly, they're pretty good. 41% bets, 72% money.
- 22:09This is the spread at Circa and at DraftKings. 42% bets, 55%
- 22:14money on the spread now. Money line way too high for me
- 22:17on Philly minus two 8290. But again, this becomes a
- 22:22question of yes, Philly sharp, but what number did the sharps
- 22:25get? They got -4 1/2 - 5 - 5 1/2, you
- 22:29know, are sharps laying 6/6 and 1/2 with Philly now?
- 22:32No, it looks like there's some respected buyback on Washington
- 22:36now at this point. So just like that, that Rams
- 22:38game where again, Philly open very similar, I want to say -5
- 22:43five and a half to end up closing -7 they won by 6.
- 22:46That means the early sharps who got Philly, you know -5 - 5 1/2
- 22:50they won. If you got a late Philly -6 and
- 22:53F - 7, you lost. So favorites early, dogs late.
- 22:56I got to respect that Philly money and that Philly line move,
- 22:59but it took place earlier in the week and now the line is moved
- 23:02so much to the point where it looks like there's going to be
- 23:04some buy back here. The other angle that I like
- 23:07again, playoff dogs, seven and three so far ATS this
- 23:10postseason. If you're a dog who missed the
- 23:12playoffs the previous year, 66% ATS since 2017.
- 23:17And then we get to, I mentioned to divisional dog, very rare you
- 23:21get divisional matchup in the playoffs just doesn't happen a
- 23:23lot. But that is a familiarity factor
- 23:26that levels the playing field, benefits the team getting
- 23:29points. Lastly, our friends at Rhythm, I
- 23:32have two models. One says Washington should be
- 23:34favored by 1.5 points that somewhat hard to believe because
- 23:38they're on the road. But the other one has Washington
- 23:40plus 3.7. And I think that's a that's a
- 23:43number that again, it's a little bit low, but it makes sense.
- 23:46And if rhythm is predicting around a 3.7 and we're getting 6
- 23:491/2, shopping around getting it at FanDuel with the hook, it's a
- 23:53play that I want to make right now.
- 23:54And the other thing is if I don't play FanDuel plus 6 and F
- 23:58-, 120 right now, what if by the, you know, the end of the
- 24:01day today, tomorrow, Fanduel's down to six and there's no more
- 24:04hooks anywhere. I want that hook.
- 24:07I made my first bet today and I put it in the Juice Reel app.
- 24:10If you want to follow ASG under score podcast, all of the
- 24:14podcast plays are listed there. But I, I played Washington,
- 24:18that's my first bet of championship weekend.
- 24:21Still going to keep an eye on KC, but as of now, Washington in
- 24:24pocket. Let's go, commanders.
- 24:27So that about does it for episode 2 O three of the ASG pod
- 24:31powered by rhythm. This is the part of the pod
- 24:33where we wrap things up. And I start start first by
- 24:36saying thank you. Thank you for taking the time
- 24:38out of your busy lives to put aside, you know, 30 minutes to
- 24:42pull up a chair to the virtual bar.
- 24:44Sweat some sharp contrarian breakdowns with me.
- 24:46If you enjoy the pod and you value the insights, obviously,
- 24:51you know, start to the week, spend a little bit down.
- 24:52But if you value the insights and hopefully it's become maybe
- 24:56a part of your daily sports betting routine to check in,
- 24:59listen to some breakdowns. And maybe you have bets in
- 25:02pocket that you're going to compare and contrast or you're
- 25:04short on time and you want to hear some some insights.
- 25:07If you enjoy the pod and hopefully you get some good
- 25:09information from it, could you please do me a solid and give
- 25:12this podcast a five star review on Spotify or iTunes as well?
- 25:17But it would mean a lot to me. Help us to continue to grow the
- 25:19pod as well as if you would like to refer to a friend, click the
- 25:23follow button. That would all be great.
- 25:25But please, a five star review would go a long way.
- 25:28Next, if you enjoy the style of betting breakdown, data-driven,
- 25:32sharp and train betting, you've now become interested in looking
- 25:35at line movement, bet splits, looking at system matches, going
- 25:39contrarian again, all the little things we talked about in the
- 25:42way we interpret the market. This is now appealing to you and
- 25:45you want to learn more about data-driven betting or you have
- 25:48a friend of yours who needs to learn a little bit, learn a
- 25:51thing or two about a thing or two, which is a great quote
- 25:54from. I believe it's This Boy's life,
- 25:56a great movie with Robert De Niro and Leo when he was
- 25:59younger. But anyway, if that's the case,
- 26:02you want to support the pod, you want to learn more about
- 26:04data-driven betting, you know what you can do, You can go buy
- 26:07my book. It's called the everything Guide
- 26:09to Sports betting. Just go to Amazon.com and type
- 26:12in the Everything guide to Sports betting.
- 26:14Pick up a copy for you or for a friend.
- 26:16It's got everything I've learned in the industry.
- 26:18How lines are set, how and why they move, how to read line
- 26:21movement, how to locate sharp action, how to place a bet in
- 26:23person or online, how to shop for the best line, how to set up
- 26:27a bankroll management plan, how to go contrarian.
- 26:29It's all included in the everything guide to sports
- 26:32betting. So pick one up, bring it to the
- 26:34book and I'll sign it for you and I'll buy you a beer or
- 26:36ginger ale. We'll sweat some games together
- 26:39next. Have you taken advantage of a 7
- 26:41day free trial of juice Reel or rhythm yet?
- 26:43My two favorite sports betting apps.
- 26:45They help me win. They're going to help you win
- 26:47rhythm fantastic for their AI backed models and predictions
- 26:51for game bets, spread money line total as well as player props.
- 26:55And then of course, Juice Reel just awesome in terms of the
- 26:59Robo Jackson best bet picks if you want to follow those, but
- 27:02also the arbitrage daily matches, the sharp motion
- 27:05indicators, shop for the best line.
- 27:07Like if you're going to play any futures, maybe like Philly to
- 27:09win the Super Bowl or Kansas City or Buffalo or Washington,
- 27:12you know, for example, with their futures tab, they will
- 27:15automatically if you put in the team you want, they'll show you
- 27:18which book is giving you the best price.
- 27:20So really underrated feature that makes it very easy on you.
- 27:23But of course, you can sync up your sports books and you can
- 27:27support the ASG pod by following the best bets on Juice rail.
- 27:31I tweet out the link every day for my Twitter account at Josh
- 27:34under score Insights. You can also go to the social
- 27:37tab, click Find Juicers and then search ASG under score podcast.
- 27:42It's $4.99 a week to get all the plays considered a tip jar.
- 27:47I don't want to be considered a tout, you know, again, that's a
- 27:49dirty word and I don't think that's what I'm doing.
- 27:51But if you enjoy them, you want to get the plays, the pods free
- 27:55499 a week. Hopefully that's that's a worthy
- 27:57investment. It would mean a lot to me if you
- 27:59guys wanted to sign up for those best bets.
- 28:02But that about does it. Everybody on a big Wednesday,
- 28:05another pod in the books. I'll leave you with a couple
- 28:07things as we always do. One, whether I see you at the
- 28:10Borgata in Atlantic City, Twin River in Rhode Island, the Brook
- 28:14in New Hampshire, Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun, as well as in my
- 28:19neck of the woods in Massachusetts at the Encore
- 28:21Plain Ridge Park Casino or MGM Springfield.
- 28:24Or out in the desert where the true grinders get down.
- 28:26Where Billy Walters sends his number runners, where the lowest
- 28:29juice possible is found at the South Point or sweat and Sharp
- 28:31and train plays, jumping in the stadium swimming pool when they
- 28:34cash a big ticket at Circo, wherever.
- 28:36Maybe you're going to walk up to me, You're going to show me a
- 28:38Longhorns ticket, hook them. You're going to show me UCLA
- 28:42money line. Yo, you're going to save the
- 28:44juice and play the spread. Nope.
- 28:46I think a way to protect yourself is exactly what we did.
- 28:49Money lining UCLA, but either way guys hope you have a great
- 28:53Wednesday night. We'll be right back at it
- 28:55tomorrow for episode 203 of the all system to go sports betting
- 28:59pod and as always, win lose draw hot cold grinding the model the
- 29:04blueprint never changes. If we can find that sweet spot
- 29:07bet the games that fit our model against the public with the
- 29:10house with the pros flat bet avoid parlays get that CLV.
- 29:13If we can do that, we're going to be successful sports bettors
- 29:16long term. So have a great Wednesday night
- 29:19and as I mentioned, we'll be right back at it tomorrow for a
- 29:21big Thirsty Thursday edition of the All Systems Go Sports
- 29:25Betting podcast. That'll be episode 2 O 4.
