Mega Millions Marathon, Powerball reaches $663M, Mega Millions climbs to $800M ... and more for July 28th · The Lottery Rundown: Powerball & Mega Millions Results, Trends and News

Mega Millions Marathon! This is The Lottery Rundown for Tuesday July 28th Powerball drew Monday night with 6, 26, 46, 58, 65, and Powerball 25, with the 2 times multiplier. Nobody hit the jackpot, so Wednesday’s prize climbs to a 663 million dollar jackpot, with a 290 million dollar cash value. That kind of money could buy a private island and still leave room in the budget for a deeply unnecessary gold-plated lawn mower. The run is now 36 drawings and 86 days without a jackpot winner, longer than usual but not off the rails. Number-wise, 65 came back after 28 drawings away, while 26 showed up as one of the five least-drawn white balls over the last six years, appearing 49 times. Even the quiet numbers eventually clear their throat. Moving to Mega Millions, the last draw was Friday, July 24, with 2, 5, 42, 44, 60, and Mega Ball 1. No jackpot winner there either, which pushes tonight’s prize to an 800 million dollar jackpot, with a 344 million dollar cash value. That is the bigger story: 37 drawings, 129 days, and around the 97th percentile of recent jackpot gaps, so yes, this thing has been stretching like it pays rent by the week. The number 60 also showed up as one of the five least-drawn white balls over the last six years, appearing 34 times, while Mega Ball 1 has been one of the more active Mega Balls with 29 appearances. Do you think a number that quiet and a Mega Ball that social can show again in the same room?
