Transcript
- 0:15[UNKNOWN]: Thank you.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_04]: The way the shadows move, it's as if the curse can sense it, as if it can feel you moving closer towards its destruction.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_04]: With two of the three necessary items in your possession, the darkness around you grows deeper and it grows stronger.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_04]: The branches of the tango would reach out and pull at your cloaks and twist up to try and trip you and delay you on your quest.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_04]: The curse feels your progress.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_04]: It knows what you seek and how close you are to finding it and it is marshalling all the shadows of the forest to march to where it knows you four fools must go.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_04]: Brave princesses indeed, but fools all the same, because you of all people know well that there is nothing more foolish than entering the domain of a witch.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, we'll come down on fools.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, right, I'm down.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_03]: Are you awesome?
- 2:07[SPEAKER_03]: I'm so offended because I got mad.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_03]: I just, like, we are, but you ain't got to say it.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_11]: That's for us.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_11]: Feel like Geraldine has aged out of being called a fool.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_11]: She's too old to be fooled.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_04]: Geraldine breaks the fourth wall and punches the narrative.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_09]: It's like parkour.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I imagine?
- 2:26[SPEAKER_04]: I imagine that the opening narration is getting like inscribed in script like above you guys.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_04]: And Jody and Parkour's up grabs the word full of like sprints at the time.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_02]: Flip the back of the camera.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_11]: Cool.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_11]: How'd you do that?
- 2:40[SPEAKER_11]: How'd you do that?
- 2:41[SPEAKER_11]: He comes.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_11]: He's just scared.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_11]: It comes with age.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_11]: I'll show you at level four.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't even know there was a wall there.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_03]: That's crazy.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_04]: After passing the night on the shores of the Everloss Lake, recovering from the ill omens of the baddie potion, there was this, that was some hurling, there was some bodily fluency, it was a bummer for everyone but Geraldine who can hold her baddie potion.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_04]: You guys spent the next day, day and a half traveling south towards Stilsonia's Tower.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_04]: And along the road, everything got darker and more difficult to traverse, Matt was taking it in like small steps trying to get over these crazy routes, but now you come to the edge of the blue thread river.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_04]: Just to cross it, you can see the bog that is the entrance to Dulcinius Tower, but this river was never something that was traversed by the villagers.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_04]: No one would choose to come here and Dulcinius it seems, was able to use magic to traverse this river for there is no bridge or no way across.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_04]: And the water moves quite swiftly.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_04]: You see, just across is the bog and just off in the distance you can see the very tip of the many stories high tower of Dulcidia.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_04]: And everything around you starts to smell just a little bit sweet.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_04]: For the right amount.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_04]: I leave it to you.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_04]: How would you like to cross the blue thread river?
- 4:19[SPEAKER_04]: For the river.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_11]: I'm here.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_11]: It's moving pretty fast.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_10]: Sorry, sorry.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_10]: I've played a lot of Oregon Trail.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_11]: You know, I should feel for game.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_10]: Oh.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_10]: Wait, I have magic rope.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_02]: I was going to say, don't we have something that allows us to teleport fly or something?
- 4:35[SPEAKER_11]: Throw the rope.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_11]: It stays across the way and then we could use it like a bridge.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_10]: We could walk across and then we could walk tight rope.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah!
- 4:45[SPEAKER_11]: How's everyone balance?
- 4:48[SPEAKER_11]: Ummm.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_03]: We got that core strength in us.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_03]: You know?
- 4:51[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I can still taste baddie potion all the way to the back of my teeth, but I can give it a shot.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, that's gross.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_11]: Brian, do we know if the magic items are like single?
- 5:03[SPEAKER_11]: Like is the pixie wings?
- 5:04[SPEAKER_11]: Situation a single use item?
- 5:07[SPEAKER_04]: Most magic items this game are not single use, but they do have like a recharge cost to them.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_04]: I'm seeing know that the Pixie wings every time to recharge them, you have to play a prank on someone.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, and they did get recharge, yeah, yeah.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_04]: They have been recharge, I believe the Pixie wings last for, I believe in hour.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_04]: I will double check that, but there's a good amount of time for those wings, if you want to go that route.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_11]: And then, how, like, why it is this?
- 5:32[SPEAKER_11]: If one were to hazard a leap and had skill in that area, yeah.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_04]: I think this is like, this is a proper river.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_04]: Could you go for a leap?
- 5:43[SPEAKER_04]: I'd certainly let you try, but this would be a disadvantage, world.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, well the boots allow us to teleport to a familiar location.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_02]: I can smell the other side of the river from here.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_02]: I can smell the sweetness increasing so we could teleport over as a group.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_02]: We have the rope that would be climbing or ballicing or running across and the hair clip allows who's wearing that?
- 6:07[SPEAKER_02]: Is that Adelaide to Sprout Wings and float?
- 6:10[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm wearing that.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I can definitely, I can, I can, I can float like this, it'll, it'll be fine.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_03]: Adelaide, who has taken a seat?
- 6:20[SPEAKER_03]: Did need to sit down for a second.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's fine, I can drive.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's fine.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_03]: It's totally fine.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_03]: I can drive, I got it.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_04]: What do you drive it?
- 6:28[SPEAKER_04]: It's gonna start flying from a seated position.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_03]: I'm good, I got it.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_03]: So Adelaide, just like the wings sprout out from the butterfly clip.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_03]: And you just see like because she wasn't sitting like gorgeously, this wasn't like a crisscross applesauce It's like she was definitely like, like, supple, how much like a baby, like a hungover baby So you just watch is like the weird
- 6:55[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I'll give it up, Drunk.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_03]: All of the babies you've seen hung over.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, okay, it's not just me.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_03]: Let's not pretend.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_03]: But so you just see her start to float up into the air.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_03]: It does take like an extra bit of umph because she keeps getting stuck at the butt, but she just like, wheels it up until she's up in the air.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_03]: Still kind of like, almost sort of like in a CD position with her legs just like flailing.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_03]: not like fun flailing, but just like, you know, I was like wacky and slainable arm guy.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_03]: As the wind hits them.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_04]: When you guys all heard about this item from Queen Guardia, when you got it, you all kind of like pictured in your mind, what it would be like to fly.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_04]: And like how really, like you saw the pixie's doing, they were doing those like tesseract time formations, it was beautiful.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_04]: But like you don't realize that they had to learn how to skate first.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_04]: No, but Adelaide you begin to float you're getting your sea likes.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_04]: It is not cute.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_04]: This is not cute But in terms of being functional you immediately feel that like these wings are strong I can't feel like you can easily pick people up I think you recognize that you will be able to move across with everyone here except for the horses
- 8:11[SPEAKER_03]: So I can pick everybody up, but we aren't gonna have to, and Adelaide just looks at Amira, and it's like, baby, baby, my love, my brave, my brave, baby.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_03]: So brave.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_03]: So brave.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_03]: So brave.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_03]: So brave.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_10]: Why do you all keep saying that to me?
- 8:26[SPEAKER_03]: So brave Amira.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_03]: We are going to probably have to leave our us.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_10]: You can leave us, Bob.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_10]: That's fine.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_03]: Hmm, we will probably have to leave both of them.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_03]: But you know, they could talk about horse stuff together.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe they have any chance to bond horse to horse, you know, horse to horse boyfriend.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_10]: We, I mean, we left them outside the entire time we were at the wall.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_10]: Feel like they bonded a lot.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_04]: guys got back it was it was pretty clear that there was a vibe of we haven't talked this time.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_04]: They were grazing in separate areas.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_02]: But man it was like now we don't do that and we don't do that.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_04]: You guys have a momentary flash of like.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_04]: So like, do any hobbies or?
- 9:21[SPEAKER_03]: I like grazing and being quiet.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_03]: What about you?
- 9:25[SPEAKER_04]: Ooh, I like magic together and rock concerts.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_11]: This is a little weird.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_11]: It's a spot that plays magic together in Britain.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_10]: It's spot for sure.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_03]: Because he's rich.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_10]: Because he's rich.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, so if everybody, if you want to jump aboard train Adelaide, no, that's not right.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and on the Adelaide, the Adelaide Express.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_03]: Adelaide Express?
- 9:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_03]: Can I get better?
- 9:54[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, yeah.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, are you drunk still?
- 9:59[SPEAKER_03]: I am still a little bit, but I drink too much Baddie Potion is the thing.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_10]: Hamira takes out the Baddie Potion looks at the ingredients.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_10]: Two percent alcohol, Jesus Christ.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_11]: I know a whole two percent, two percent.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, it's crazy.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_10]: It's a lot for us, you're right.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's a lot for us.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_03]: It's a lot for us, you know.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_03]: So do you want to, you want to, uh, you know, get up on this now?
- 10:26[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_03]: You want to ride Adelaide.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_10]: You guys know, let's go.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_10]: I'm going to, can I walk the rope, Brian, with Matt?
- 10:37[SPEAKER_04]: So.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm just going to game this out real quick and if this is what you want to do, you can absolutely do this.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_04]: You have a match group and that rope you can throw across.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_04]: You're like shooting arrow across to have it Li-tot.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_10]: Totally.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_04]: As a bridge essentially or rather as a tight rope.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_04]: A literal tight rope.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_10]: Yep.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_04]: Then you want a horse to walk with its four legs that like and I just want to kind of put this in my Yeah, the width of a horse's legs is like a couple of feet.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_04]: Yep, you know like maybe like two feet, you know Yeah, so I've got to be a circus out there that has a tight rope walking horse.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, y'all if Matt drops in this river and dies I am gonna blame Shinuke for the end of time.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know
- 11:20[SPEAKER_02]: I will never let them live this down.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_04]: This quadrupedal, majestic animal to try to walk cross-type rope.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_04]: That's what you wanted to do.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_04]: I just wanted to see if it was an option.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_04]: I could do.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_04]: It's an option.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_04]: I just wanted to...
- 11:32[SPEAKER_05]: I want to set you up for success here.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_11]: I just wanted to know what the consequences might be for my actions.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_10]: You know what you roll with this advantage?
- 11:40[SPEAKER_10]: Like a crazy person?
- 11:42[SPEAKER_06]: Oh yeah.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_06]: Oh yeah.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_06]: Oh yeah, you're going to roll this advantage.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_03]: Mirror, maybe, maybe it's just a, it's just like a girl's trip, you know, look, I understand that y'all are really close, but like it's, you know, some, you don't want to get put a pendant, right, with your horse.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_10]: Far too late for that.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_10]: Man.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_10]: Wait, you're what you years behind, okay, fine, it can be a girl's trip, we're back in a day, a day at most.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_03]: mean we're gonna try yeah you can be with that in for a day Adelaide just like starts to like pick what's the opposite of up is when someone is reaching down to you to get you to come up Yeah, that's what's happening.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_10]: It's kind of stupid.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_10]: It doesn't want to get picked up and it's like is it okay if I go mad like no wait wait Adelaide
- 12:39[SPEAKER_10]: We didn't do our 10 kisses yet.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_02]: Girls, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
- 13:07[SPEAKER_02]: While this whole argument is happening, when he has like brownie in her mouth, like bitten by the scruff of his neck, but the scruff of his neck.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_02]: We are bringing our chocolate night sniffed detecting dog.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care about that.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna be fine.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_02]: What do you mean you're good swore hold on?
- 13:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just not even making eye contact as I like.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, no.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_02]: This is not a discussion.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: Can you put Matt in your mouth?
- 13:28[SPEAKER_02]: I can try.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_02]: I can try.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_02]: You can be close to Matt and I'll try.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_02]: And just want to make sure to puppy was there.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_02]: Brownie is with us.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_04]: Do you have Brownie in your mouth?
- 13:35[SPEAKER_04]: He's been like deactivated as you're like holding it by the scruffy They go limp as soon as you pull him off off horse.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_04]: This is ridiculous as you guys fly across the blue thread river Winnie kind of in your ear you hear Brownie just whimper a little bit as his tail kind of goes rigid and he looks You go Talk chocolate nights over there.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_07]: Do you know talk chocolate nights over there somewhere over there in the tower?
- 13:59[SPEAKER_02]: I have a scruff of brownie in my mouth, so the most I can do is just shake my head in the affirmative with a yes.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that's what I was afraid of.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I'll reach down the scratch as belly, poor baby.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes
- 14:22[SPEAKER_04]: Adelaide you fly them across the blue thread river and across a fair bit of this bog It surrounds the tower of Dulcinia and as your ferry wings kind of begin to disintegrate You float down to a landing
- 14:40[SPEAKER_04]: all around you there is this chocolate bog, this very wet and damp area twists and turns all around that you have to maneuver through, but you see up on a hill this tower of Dulcinias and you begin to move towards it.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_04]: However, this bog being sticky and difficult to move through, I'm going to need everyone here to make a virtue test.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, wow.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_02]: Coming off swinging.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_04]: I'll let you choose what stat you'd like.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_04]: I would say probably grace or resolve to push through this.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be a group check.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_04]: If half or more of you succeed, no consequences, if more than half of you fail, there will be a little bit of consequence.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_04]: Geraldine, success failure.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_03]: Geraldine's June Reserve, and that's a success.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_03]: I'm really in grace and that is a success.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_03]: It is 8 on 12.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_10]: Hell yeah, Amira.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_10]: So does meet it beats it?
- 15:32[SPEAKER_10]: Meet it beats it.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_10]: So yeah, I rolled a 12 on grace and I have 12 grace.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_10]: Hell yeah.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_10]: And then we knew.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_02]: I'm so glad Amira made it because I'm the one pulling up short guys.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_02]: I had a 15 over a 14 on my resolve.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, so close.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_04]: So close.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_02]: Amira carried us on that one.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_02]: Meet it beats it.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_04]: As you guys are moving through here, Amira, it is only you like moving behind Winnie that notices as Winnie is moving like quick through this bog, the way fairing boots get like sucked down into the bog and she like really steps out of the boots for a moment and you reached out and able to grab these boots back up and not lose them to the bog.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_10]: Oh nice wouldn't have happened if we had a horse, we'd all be riding a horse right now.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know how easy horses get through bugs, Amira.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_10]: Well, we won't know now, would we?
- 16:19[SPEAKER_11]: You know, maybe I'm like a more fun trip and not so much like a life-saving mission with we figured out one day.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_11]: One day, Amira, one day.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_04]: Fine.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_04]: Winnie, as you muscle these shoes back on, you see that the drawings and sketches and stuff, illustrations that Connie had put all over the boots.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_04]: The little timer on this side, the little clock face, has filled entirely.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_04]: And you know that these boots are charged with that teleportation ability.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, nice.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna tap the timer just to make sure that it's calibrated and reading correctly.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_04]: It like dips down for a second.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, no!
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait
- 17:00[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, we're getting close.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_04]: As you move closer to the tower, you feel the effects of this candy curse clearly emanating from this tower.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_04]: I'll say just because it's not affecting any of you right now.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_04]: Mechanically, where you in this area and infected with the candy curse, you would be making a significant amount of checks every time you're like spending time at all to potentially advance that candy curse.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, wow.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_04]: And I think you just feel that in the nature around here.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_04]: Everything is turning to candy.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_04]: Like there are a number of flowers that are like fully like Willy Wonka-Fied, you know what I mean?
- 17:36[SPEAKER_04]: Like you break off a flower and it's like all made of chocolate and Mars a pan and things.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_04]: In front of you, you see Dulcinius tower climbing easily, 50 feet high.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_04]: Air around you just sickly sweet and heavy in that way that just something so sickly sweet community just like way you down after you eat it, the air feels like that.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_04]: There's this low thrum all around you that you feel is the magic of a witch's domain that you know is powerful even if that witch is dead.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_04]: I'd like everyone here to roll me a wits check, just to kind of see what you see in this area.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_03]: It's never just like, I would like everyone here to have a big hug.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_11]: Oh hell yeah, I got a one.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_11]: Me too.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_10]: Yay!
- 18:42[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, two crints.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_10]: I got a Nat 20.
- 18:47[UNKNOWN]: No!
- 18:48[SPEAKER_02]: I got a Nat 22.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_02]: Are you serious?
- 18:51[SPEAKER_02]: No joke.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: I'm literally switching out my dice right now.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_05]: What?
- 18:55[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_05]: I'm literally switching them out.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_05]: Wait.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_05]: That one, that one, that's 20, that's 20.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_05]: That sucks.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_11]: They fall against each other out.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_06]: That sucks.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_06]: I was literally about to make the joke.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_06]: Well, okay.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_06]: Whitty, like, well, it's roll yours and see if they can't switch it.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, you can make it this one.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_02]: Listen.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_02]: I'm shaming my dice into it.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_02]: They know a lot of participating anymore.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_03]: They weren't willing to play so it's a full moon tonight.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you got to put him out to charge tonight.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah
- 19:25[SPEAKER_04]: Let me tell you what you see with, like, man, I think Adelaide and Geraldine, like, Adelaide, you feel like your wings come back from what you kind of, like, levitate up just a little bit on your own, Geraldine, you start to, like, get a big view, and just, I think, Amira and Winnie just clomping through this bog.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_04]: You've got to, like, come down from your purchase, come help them.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_04]: I want my horse.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_11]: Amira, you gotta, you gotta learn to walk for yourself, babe.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_10]: Why would you do that if you have a horse that can walk for you?
- 19:52[SPEAKER_03]: You're an independent princess of whatever year this is, you gotta be able to do it yourself.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_11]: You live strong independent princesses, even if they also have a partner.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_10]: I am independent, I am just dependent on a horse.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_11]: On a horse.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_04]: I don't need no horse, but I want one.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_04]: But I want one.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_04]: I deserve one.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_04]: You look over this tower and see a few potential entrances and what I'm going to do because we had two net ones and two net 20s I'm going to tell you all the potential entrances.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to tell you none of the potential difficulties Oh You know that's valid this fair which feels right in the middle.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's fair
- 20:39[SPEAKER_04]: From your vantage point, Geraldine, you momentarily glimpse that if you follow the bog, there seems to be runoff coming from some kind of like super great beneath the tower.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_04]: And you see that there's like clearly an entrance in that way.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_04]: And like the fact that there is this kind of magical runoff, let's you know that there is likely an entrance somewhere into the tower to either like a kitchen or an experimentation room or something that is producing this runoff.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_04]: Adelaide you looking up with your wings to the very top of the tower see a like great like a window with like bars on it That is very very small like would not fit a person But you might be able to use in some way and I think Winnie and Amira with your not 20s.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_04]: You just look ahead and there is a entrance way there is a doorway directly in front of you that is the front of the tower
- 21:27[SPEAKER_03]: So I see up there, there's a really small, great up there.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think any of us could fit in, but if Brownie wanted to just kind of go into the room and take like a quick little peek for us, we could kind of get an idea of what's what, maybe?
- 21:45[SPEAKER_03]: Park?
- 21:46[UNKNOWN]: Park?
- 21:49[SPEAKER_02]: I'll scratch Brownie behind the ear and pull his head into my calf.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_02]: No, what other options do we have?
- 21:55[SPEAKER_11]: We could go through there's like a sure great.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_11]: There's some kind of runoff.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know, it's coming from like a laboratory or a kitchen or some kind of a thing.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_11]: It's, but it is crawling through a sewer.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_11]: We will get dirty.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_11]: And Brownie, you'd have to do that too, just so you know.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, Brownie, to be clear, you're coming.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_11]: Burk, you don't want to get there.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, burk, burk, burk, burk, burk, burk, burk.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_04]: What, what do you, you are hearing this?
- 22:23[SPEAKER_04]: And he is just saying,
- 22:27[SPEAKER_10]: What he's actually saying is bullet full translation.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_10]: I love it.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_11]: It's like dog slang for like When he what's what's he saying?
- 22:36[SPEAKER_02]: Bark We need to show time for you I look confused because when he doesn't make jokes
- 22:46[SPEAKER_10]: Why don't we just knock on the front door?
- 22:48[SPEAKER_02]: Knock!
- 22:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we know the chocolate night is very likely inside.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_02]: And if we're going to believe the intelligence that Elcinia is dead, sure.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_02]: But I'd fully expect to see her or some variation of her inside.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_10]: So that means the unicorns here.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_02]: The unicorn should be here, yes.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_11]: I think if we go through the front door, we gotta be prepared for, you know, we're making an entrance where we're announcing that we are here.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_11]: The other two, we might have some more stealth.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, I think if we're going to go through the front door and announce that we're here, then we should just like announce that we're here and not make it look like we're here for any other, you know, reason, maybe, hey, we followed a trail of candy and we wanted to see if there was more candy.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like I heard about somebody doing that once and it turned out fine for them.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_03]: So if we just like, and we're like, hey, like we followed this trail of candy,
- 23:45[SPEAKER_03]: have some candy or something, you know, maybe we could even like knock and we could be like, hey, like treats or treats or something.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just spitting here.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_10]: I know.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_10]: We have to sneak up on the unicorn.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_10]: Be very, very quiet and then we'll put a bag over its head.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that escalated quickly.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_10]: neutralize the horn.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_11]: Um, okay.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, it's just going over the hood.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_11]: Are you worried about the horn parking through the bay?
- 24:12[SPEAKER_11]: No!
- 24:12[SPEAKER_11]: Fuck.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_11]: Maybe you guys get an extra bottle.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_11]: You could put the bottle over the horn.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_10]: No, Matt has the bottles.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_10]: I have no bottles.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_11]: You didn't take a single one when we left.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_10]: No, I'll just pick me up.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, part of the ten kisses is me taking bottles.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_03]: Why can't those be two separate actions?
- 24:30[SPEAKER_10]: It's an important ritual for a relationship.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_03]: Your love language is weird.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so, front door.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_02]: We're just going to go into the front door.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_11]: Well, is there any way to, do we, we don't have any more pixie potion left?
- 24:44[SPEAKER_11]: Do we, for the little window?
- 24:46[SPEAKER_04]: You do not.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_04]: You guys had just enough for y'all.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_10]: Oh.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_10]: What about this magic rope?
- 24:51[SPEAKER_10]: Can we use the rope?
- 24:51[SPEAKER_10]: Can we climb?
- 24:52[SPEAKER_10]: Can we climb somewhere?
- 24:53[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we could climb up, just we know, but it's just too small.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we're not.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_03]: We won't fit in.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_03]: The only one that could fit in is brownie.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_10]: So why don't we just use the sewer?
- 25:03[SPEAKER_11]: Let's see, okay.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_11]: We've got a...
- 25:04[SPEAKER_11]: So it's really between doorway and shuers.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_11]: All in favor of a sewer sneak.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_10]: Amira.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_11]: Say I. Oh, I.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_11]: I... All in favor of doorway announcement, see I?
- 25:17[SPEAKER_11]: Doorway announcement!
- 25:20[SPEAKER_03]: No sewer!
- 25:21[SPEAKER_10]: I guess Brownie gets to decide.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not really a snake person, but I guess I'll do a sewer snake since we're all sneaking in the sewers.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_10]: We can also split up.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_10]: We have a dog.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_11]: Who is Scooby-do?
- 25:54[SPEAKER_11]: Second in our world?
- 25:56[SPEAKER_11]: Wow, it is.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_10]: Scooby-do is a princess.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_02]: No, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_03]: She's a princess, that's true.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so we'll sneak in through the sewer and we're looking for the treasure of the castor's past correct, but we don't know exactly what that is.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_02]: Go ahead and roll me a wits check.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_02]: Now I changed out my dice guys.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_02]: I really did.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's a 7 under an 11.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_02]: Thank goodness.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_04]: What you recognize so far from the items that you've had to get, the tail of the rat king, the ring of gold from the Earl King's hand, these are items of like significant like significant potency.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_04]: It's definitely not just anything from the castress pass, this is clearly like a powerful item.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_04]: You could see it being something in her possession, something that has a strong connection to her.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_04]: And I think with that success, your mind flicks to the Soul Call Periapt that she traded for.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_04]: It might not be it, but that feels like of the things that you know, that feels the strongest pull towards you right now.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so as I say that a lot we're looking for the the treasure of the castress pass.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what that is I thought it was a honeydipper, but we have that now and then I look at who has a honeydipper right now Somebody's wearing it is a jewelry.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_02]: You guys actually didn't take the honeydipper.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, we didn't take the honeydipper No, so we never got it from her.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_02]: I'll think about the honeydipper's like I thought it was the honeydipper one But if it's not that maybe it's it could be the the so-called thing area Period we got a description of it.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_02]: She described it for us
- 27:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think one of the other fairies, one of the other fairies shows you one, it's kind of like a common fake trinket, and it's like, you know, kind of common corded me necklace with like a very classic like pendant, like big kind of like silver ring around like a jewel or some kind of gem, very like like large opal is kind of the vibe.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_04]: So lovely, but nothing that looks too ostentatious or crazy.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_02]: That's the best guess that I have on what it could be.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_02]: But something tells me once we get inside and start looking around, it'll make itself known to us.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_11]: Well, I mean, in that case, do you think that's something that would be kept sort of, at that field, it's like something to be up in the tower.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_11]: Maybe starting in a basement is not a smart plan.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_11]: You know, why start on level zero if we've got to go up to the fifth floor?
- 28:16[SPEAKER_11]: It's a lot of stairs.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_11]: Ha ha ha ha.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_03]: Like only one of us could fight up that tower.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_03]: Work on, work on.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, so front door.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_03]: So front door it is.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, or okay, fine.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_10]: What?
- 28:31[SPEAKER_03]: And Adelaide just looks at Brownie.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_04]: Brownie just like goes deeper into Winnie's like fur coat thing.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_04]: Lord, baby.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_04]: Winnie, you see Brownie is very much like has his eyes and those train like he is sniffing the air constantly.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_04]: You see him looking up.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_04]: Recognizing that like duck truck and head is somewhere not on the ground floor likely, but it's somewhere higher in the tower
- 28:57[SPEAKER_04]: As you guys approach the front door of dosenias, tower you are looking around you know that every witch's domain, her cottage or whatever it is, is going to be guarded by magic and as you are getting closer you don't see any traps like you're really using all of your princess abilities and you don't see anything.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_04]: And as you are getting closer to the door, you see all of a sudden the door knob turn.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_04]: Uh-oh.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_04]: the door open, and two mint chocolate constructs?
- 29:27[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Lord.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_04]: Walk out each with like a picture of beer in their hands.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_04]: And go, yeah, man, so I don't know.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_04]: So I was thinking that what she wanted to do was like, hang out, but I guess that she actually just wanted to hang out.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, man, listen, sometimes you just got you got to go into it thinking that it's one thing that, oh, uh.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_04]: Who are you?
- 29:52[SPEAKER_03]: Can I roll the wits to see if they're hot?
- 29:55[SPEAKER_05]: You look at them.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_05]: They are mint-shut-feel.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_05]: You see them look, yeah, go we roll.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, hey, roll, yeah, we'll check.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_02]: Let's determine their hotness.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_02]: I passed, I got a nine.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_04]: Yay!
- 30:08[SPEAKER_04]: These guys are wielding like glaves, like in other spheres, but with like a slash weapon.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_04]: Each of them has like a sign of beer in their hands.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_04]: They are made of mint chocolates, like a green thing.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_04]: And it clearly have like almost oozing out of them.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_04]: Kind of in a vibe that makes you think of pus more than anything.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_04]: So mint chocolate filling.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_03]: I've heard nothing about a face yet.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_05]: face, mid, mid, mid, right?
- 30:35[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, okay, okay.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_05]: I think you're you're immediately getting nice guy vibe.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_04]: I'm immediately getting nice guy vibe.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_04]: The one of them looks seeing us.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_04]: What's the password?
- 30:46[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, password?
- 30:48[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that one goes, sorry, was that a question or the answer?
- 30:51[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, it, uh, uh, I think the password is password, am I right?
- 30:59[SPEAKER_03]: You guys?
- 30:59[SPEAKER_03]: It's obviously, you know, I was, she's trying to like do that thing where that jerks do, where they pretend that a joke is just a joke and not what they really mean.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, that's fair.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_04]: Fall it.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to need everyone here to roll initiative.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah!
- 31:21[SPEAKER_04]: That's a D6, right?
- 31:23[SPEAKER_04]: No, so this is going to be, you're going to be testing your great.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_02]: Testing great.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_04]: If you succeed, you are going to be acting before the Smint Truck at Constructs.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_04]: If you fail, you're going to be acting after.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_10]: I failed.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, I was so close.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_11]: It was a three-in-that it rolled into a 19-year-old.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_11]: I failed.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_04]: Adelaide?
- 31:44[SPEAKER_02]: I passed and Winnie I met it so I made it yeah, we're in a real 50 50 mood.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_04]: We are Yeah, you see these two mint chocolate halberdeers look at you as you try to bluff your way through with the word password Should it work?
- 32:04[SPEAKER_04]: Should it work they they set their stimes down to go
- 32:08[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry to have to do this, but we're told to kill anybody who comes in and doesn't give us right password.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_04]: Just so you know, in case, you know, hopefully we are able to kill you and fulfill our function.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_04]: Just want you to know in case, you know, don't want you to die not knowing what the password was.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_04]: The password was Marvelous Mars a pan.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_02]: Marvelous Mars a pan.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_02]: Marvelous Matsipon.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_04]: Marvelous Mars a pan.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_04]: It's, but it seems like in your travels, you didn't encounter that particular piece of information.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_04]: So now we're just going to kill you.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_04]: and then both attack.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_04]: But Adelaide and Winnie, you get to go first, who would like to take the first lead.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_03]: Since I got us into this.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_03]: Hi.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to use my number three.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, special ability.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_03]: But which is the show stopper.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_03]: So.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, spotlight is absolutely correct.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_03]: Let's do it.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_03]: My skirt kind of rips away and the bodice just kind of goes into hot pants.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, I am wearing obviously like fishnet stockings.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_03]: I've got a little I've got a Johnty little hat.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, here we go.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_03]: It's like a little cane and I start like to tip, tip, tip, tip, tip, tip.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm like tapping and like I'm and I start like going around and I'm uh, and then I start singing Okay, let me think of something that I can do that isn't gonna get us in trouble for me stealing someone else's song Well, one of the mint chocolate horridiers looks the against Oh wait, let's see if she does Dallin Dallin 100% takes out a flashlight Does he leaps into the air to act as a fan?
- 33:55[SPEAKER_03]: Don't tell me that you murdered me and my friends because we are going to do we can't get in Don't stomp on our next don't kill us in your door Beautiful hot light moment.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yes
- 34:12[SPEAKER_04]: Spotlight is going, there's a bunch of the glints from the hair clip from Queen, Gardinia.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_04]: Like, there's a bunch of metals and jewels and it begins to glint off the flashlight, the joke, and shining, creating this disco ball effect as you launch into the showstopping number.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_04]: How many gift days you're gonna be rolling for this?
- 34:29[SPEAKER_04]: You can roll up to three if you want.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_03]: Well, they wanna super murder us, but everybody else still has gift days to get through this.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_03]: And it's a long rest to get a gift, I back.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's like full in our rest.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to sleep after this.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm going to roll.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we are like goally locks.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to, yeah, I'm going to nap it out.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to roll two.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_03]: So that's two sixes.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_04]: Roll two.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_04]: Hell yeah.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, two d sixes.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_03]: Three and a four.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, three and a four.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_04]: Some no doubles, so no miss app.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_04]: The four gets expended.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_04]: The three gets saved.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_04]: So that is some creatures.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_04]: So seven total creatures.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_04]: So you're just gonna be targeting these two.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_04]: Unless there's other people you want.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_04]: All those creatures are gonna have to make a save or they will be frolicing and dancing for seven rounds.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_03]: Damn.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_03]: God damn right, they will.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_03]: Is there anyone else in the castle that can hear this?
- 35:19[SPEAKER_01]: Is anyone since we're coming and they're like starting to be like, I'm going to make some additional saves.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: There we go.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_04]: So let me make the saves for there we go.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_04]: I think chocolate halberdeers.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_04]: We bought a karaoke machine.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we did.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_02]: Is that a late honey?
- 35:36[SPEAKER_04]: first one wrote a 15 and failed second wrote a natural 20 and failed and then I am gonna go ahead Yes, neutralize some more targets Something inside wrote a save and
- 35:55[SPEAKER_04]: a second thing rolled I say because you're like spending a bunch of stuff in this bunch of stuff that's getting spoiled I will tell you that you hear two things inside somewhere begin to clunk and flutter and clomp and clack about oh you know what I need to make actually one more save yeah you do yeah
- 36:15[SPEAKER_04]: two things begin to fall into a clatter about as something inside is dancing.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_04]: As rather two things inside, you can hear a dancing.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_11]: Good.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_11]: It helps.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_04]: Amira, I'll just give this to you for free.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_04]: You hear hoof prints inside.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_09]: Oh.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_09]: I'm excited.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_04]: Amira, chargers inside.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_04]: You.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_04]: You.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_04]: Everything starts dancing.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_04]: These two nights kind of look, they go, wait, wait.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_04]: Let's see what she does.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_04]: And then all of a sudden they start, it's like,
- 36:46[SPEAKER_04]: They start swinging their whole birds like over their head, like doing this like choreograph dance.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_04]: The other, like, dude, I'm so glad we practiced this all the time.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_01]: Hey!
- 36:54[SPEAKER_04]: Oh my god!
- 36:55[SPEAKER_04]: The cast is not a lot to do here.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_06]: I know we're just constructs and like barely have a purpose, but like, it's fun to like come up with dance numbers.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah!
- 37:04[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah!
- 37:07[SPEAKER_06]: You know, I'm realizing, I'm just dancing for you guys.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_06]: I'm realizing that's audio.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_06]: It's a mess.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_06]: It's a mess.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_06]: I'm doing a whole thing.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_06]: It's a whole thing.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_11]: It's a good for us.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_11]: Get bright.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_11]: The audience could tell.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_11]: They can feel it through your voice.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_11]: They can.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_04]: You guys see this surprisingly in-step choreographed routine that these two guys are doing.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_04]: I'm feeling very like Saturday night fever, whatever way I'm going right now.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_03]: Nice.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_03]: I just thought they were probably swing dudes.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, yeah.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know why I got that impression, but I was like, these dudes definitely learned swing to make girls.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_04]: I get it, yeah, that kind of tracks.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_04]: If your friend's harm or do something mean to the effect of your creature, the effects ends, doesn't affect creatures that can't hear you.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to say for the moment for seven rounds, these guys are occupied.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_04]: They're essentially like incapacitated by this thing.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_04]: You can certainly attack them and I'll give you an advantage on those attacks if you want to, or you can just move past them.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_04]: Amirah, I'm gonna say you'd bust in, and as you open the door, immediately you see a flutter of chocolate feathers.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, wow.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_04]: As you see a white chocolate raven that is like dancing around in the air, looking at you go like, what the hell is this man?
- 38:21[SPEAKER_11]: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
- 38:33[SPEAKER_04]: Amir, you immediately see you are in a large study.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_04]: There's like bookcases all around.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_04]: It's like a lounge chair, there's like tapestries on the wall.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_04]: I'll let you guys kind of inspect this once we kind of figure out what everyone is doing.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_04]: So Adelaide, you do this showstopping number.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_04]: Do you want to make any additional moves?
- 38:52[SPEAKER_04]: Do you want to use your movement?
- 38:54[SPEAKER_03]: Well, if they're doing this for like seven, and Amir is over by the feathers that we need, or is that that's not by us?
- 39:00[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, Amira like went right past them into the tower.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_03]: Perfect.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_04]: Where you see this like flutter of bird feathers and this bird beginning to like swing around as if to is preparing to peck at Amira, but it's stuck dancing for seven rounds.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_03]: If I disengage, they keep dancing right?
- 39:17[SPEAKER_03]: For seven rounds.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_04]: You guys can essentially walk right past them for the next seven rounds.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm just going to like start like tip in my hat again.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_03]: And then and then like take my little can.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_03]: Does it tax?
- 39:30[SPEAKER_04]: at a certain point like one of them grabs you but like spins you around it does like a whole dip and then like, I hope none of his ooze got on me, the plusiness, yeah, move it next in the order of Winnie, what do you want to do?
- 39:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so once they start dancing under the spotlight, I'm going to move in front of both of them.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't, I'm of the rhythm of the nation, so I'm not even going to try.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm going to just like align myself with them where I can have a conversation.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's just like, you too look really happy.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_02]: What are your names?
- 40:04[SPEAKER_04]: We actually don't have any names.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_04]: We haven't given each other like any kind of bonkers.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_04]: We're really just kind of meant to be guards here.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, we just kind of, because there's not a lot of people here.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_04]: We just kind of call each other like, hey, you, you know, inside there's ghost, any kind of points to the white chocolate Ravens find around.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_04]: You know, we call him ghost, but us, we just kind of vibe.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_04]: Like, who needs a name, right?
- 40:24[SPEAKER_01]: You know what?
- 40:25[SPEAKER_01]: We're just constructs.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still dancing, I don't know what I'm talking about.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_01]: Where are we?
- 40:29[SPEAKER_01]: It matters to us.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_11]: All right, it matters for us.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_02]: It feels right.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_11]: It's important for the art.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes stuff ain't for everybody, that's for us.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_02]: Well, listen, hey you and hey you, I do want to just give a brief apology for my sister.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, she's great.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, she is.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_02]: She is.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_02]: And she knew the password was marvelous.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_02]: Marzipan.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_02]: But she also has a gift to bring out fulfillment and other people.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_02]: So when you're finished dancing, you need to actually tell her that you're sorry for trying to attack her.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_02]: And you need to say thank you.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, word.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_02]: The password for me, Winnie, is Marvelous Marzipan.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_02]: The password from Amira.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_02]: My sister is Marvelous Marzipan, and then from Geraldine there up there, she's coming down is Marvelous Marzipan.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_02]: So we all have authority to be here.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_02]: You enjoy yourself.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_02]: Please apologize to my sister for bringing you something that brings you joy.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, absolutely.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_01]: That's four for four.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_01]: You guys go on in there.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_01]: They have some fun.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks, Hitu.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks, Hitu.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_02]: And then I'm gonna walk in.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_04]: What I'm just like swings around to Adelaide.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_04]: Just goes, so sorry, man.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_04]: You've been an absolute delight.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_04]: Enjoy your time in the evil witch Delcinius Castle.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_06]: You've been guarding the front door to make sure nothing good comes in.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, no.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_06]: See you guys later.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_04]: And it's just as Geraldine and Amira and Winnie all come in.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_04]: They close the door behind you.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_10]: As you guys walk in, you see Amira holding ghost.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_10]: Where's the unicorn?
- 41:58[SPEAKER_10]: Tell me where the unicorn is.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_10]: I know there's a unicorn in here.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_10]: So I need to tell him you're a unicorn.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_11]: You're a unicorn.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_11]: What the hell, man?
- 42:07[SPEAKER_11]: It's just Matt.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_11]: What is this?
- 42:09[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, you see ghosts is like flapping a wing just like, listen, you don't call it just like moves around man.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's upstairs in the minashari.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_04]: What did it say, Winnie?
- 42:19[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, this is speaking in common.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's out loud.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_03]: Well, that's our bad.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry, it's all right.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know man.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_01]: It kind of moves around as in places.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not, it's keeper.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just here to make sure that Dolce and your shit doesn't get touched with that.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think if it's anywhere, it's up in the minashari.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, good.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_10]: Then I put the I put ghosts in my pocket.

- 43:03[SPEAKER_04]: We'll figure out in five.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_04]: You feel as you put him in the pocket.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_04]: It's just this big lump that is moving around and trying to get out.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_04]: I will say this thing is like squawking him around your pocket.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_04]: For everyone here, if you try to move stealthily through this place, oh yeah.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_04]: It will be an automatic failure.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, I take it out.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_10]: Can I wrap the magic rope around its beak so it doesn't squawk?
- 43:27[SPEAKER_02]: Oh!
- 43:28[SPEAKER_02]: Oh!
- 43:29[SPEAKER_02]: Oh!

- 44:38[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, we're gonna kill that bird.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, that's so annoying.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_10]: That's so annoying.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_11]: Can we see what else in here?
- 44:44[SPEAKER_11]: You said we heard, who's?
- 44:47[SPEAKER_04]: I'll say everyone here, go ahead and roll me a, wits test.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, here we go.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_04]: Let's like spend some time here.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_04]: Geraldine.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_11]: Pass.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_04]: Winnie.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_04]: Pass.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_04]: Adelaide.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_08]: Pass.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_04]: Amira.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_04]: fail.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_04]: Then Amira, since you guys are spending time here, can you roll?
- 45:09[SPEAKER_04]: I said you were immune to this and I feel like I should honor it.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_11]: No, no.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_11]: Geraldine, can you come back?
- 45:17[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, because you guys are in the heart of the witch's tower.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_04]: This is a very dangerous area for this potential wrinkle.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_04]: You're going to be rolling a D4.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_04]: If you roll a one, there will be a wrinkle.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_11]: It doesn't
- 45:31[SPEAKER_11]: It's a two.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, no wrinkle at this moment.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_11]: Ooh, very nice.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_11]: Ooh, fun.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_11]: So we don't see any other combatants right now.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_04]: You don't see any other combatants.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_04]: What you see is a large study.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna say a mirror you are specifically looking around for unicorn stuff.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_04]: and everyone else is kind of like just quickly taking a glance around this room.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_04]: What this is is a very large study.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_04]: You see bookcases all around the outside of the wall.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_04]: There's like bookcases in the center, almost like a library.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_04]: As you were looking through these books, there's like grim wars and huge tomes and texts with like lots of runeck writing on them.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_04]: And like there's a bunch of languages you may or may not understand.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_04]: Some of them are written in like in English and like common language, but a lot of them are strange and some of them are giving off like a weird aura.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to tell you kind of the stuff in this room and each of you can tell me what you want to be looking at.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_04]: There are many large bookshelves with a bunch of books.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_04]: There is a large tapestry on the wall that seems to be like of a bedroom.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_04]: There is a plush like reading chair with some kind of like tone or journal on a table next to it.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_04]: And then there's a winding staircase leading up.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_11]: Geraldine is quite agile, and I feel like it's a skilled at dodging attacks.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_11]: I feel like she's good at snakes.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_11]: So I think she might go check out the staircase and do her best to sort of crawl up this thing or that thing to take a peek or to listen and hear what she hears.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_04]: Geraldine's doing staircase, Adelaide, what are you feeling?
- 47:06[SPEAKER_03]: Adelaide just flew a bunch and then just did a whole number so she's gonna check out that chair.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_03]: That chair sounds really good
- 47:14[SPEAKER_03]: Do you have that chair stuck in the chair?
- 47:16[SPEAKER_02]: Do you have that chair?
- 47:17[SPEAKER_04]: Do you have that chair?
- 47:20[SPEAKER_04]: Do you have that chair?
- 47:23[SPEAKER_04]: Well, Winnie, what are you looking at?
- 47:24[SPEAKER_04]: So, my first one was the staircase and then the chair as well.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_04]: What else is left?
- 47:28[SPEAKER_04]: There's a bookcase with a bunch of books.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_04]: And a tapestry, like a bedroom.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_04]: The one that Winnie is not doing.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_02]: Right, right.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_02]: I can't even read.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_02]: No, we're not doing the bookcase, but I will go hang out with the tapestry.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_04]: Hell yeah.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_04]: And then Amira, what are you looking at in this room?
- 47:41[SPEAKER_10]: Guess I'll read the books.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_04]: You're welcome.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_04]: We don't all have to do one if you don't want to.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_04]: You're welcome to check out.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_10]: No, no, I'll read the books.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_10]: I was great girl's trip.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_10]: I'll do the thing nobody wants to do.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_04]: So you guys can spread out in this room, kind of like moving quietly, checking out everything.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_04]: You don't immediately see anything too.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_04]: There's nothing like scary.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_04]: There's nothing like attacking.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_04]: You guys see off to one side.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_04]: There's like some stairs that like go down as well to what appears to be like a kitchen.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, okay.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_04]: And there's a spiral staircase going up that Gerald and you start to like slowly sneak up.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_04]: Just like slightly creaky staircase, but you move slow so that nothing is too loud.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_04]: Adelaide you go over and flopped down into this very extremely comfy chair and you see you are sitting in this chair And next to you is a like a cup of tea or like kind of like a what was it like a tea cup But like with just drags in it and a large tone that you see written in like common says journal on it
- 48:47[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I'm opening the journal.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_03]: I'm obviously going to open the journal.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_03]: We live, gosh shit.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_03]: That's good.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_02]: That's good room, we're right there.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's got some central room.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_04]: Pop open the journal and begin to flip through it.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_04]: When you start looking at this tapestry and see a very ornate tapestry of like a very realistic in life like bedroom you like even have a moment where you like reach up to Felix it looks so life like but it's just fabric on the wall you like pull it back and it's just brick behind it.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_04]: but you see inside this tapestry of a bedroom in like very fine bed you see like a trunk at the front of the bed and in the tapestry you see a very like young woman laying down on the bed kind of like arms crossed over top for a very like almost a few narial pose but looking peaceful
- 49:47[SPEAKER_04]: Amiria, you begin looking through these books.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_04]: Amiria, can you do me a favor and roll me a D10?
- 49:52[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, come on, Amiria.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_10]: Look at all these books.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_10]: These are nice books.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_10]: Whoa.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_10]: And Cheryl deans out of biography.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_10]: That's crazy.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_11]: It's in its seventh edition.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_11]: I roll the six.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_10]: Excellent.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_11]: No.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_11]: No.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_11]: Why, excellent.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_11]: Excellent for whom?
- 50:16[SPEAKER_04]: Amir, you begin to just look at various different books, and you see a few and you begin to pull one out of the shelf.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_04]: As you pull that book out of the shelf, we, over to Adley.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_04]: What the hell are you begin to open?
- 50:32[SPEAKER_04]: Adelaide, you begin to open this journal and be in the flip through it and you see written in plain English is a document of Dulcini's life.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_04]: This is a thick tone and you turn to the early pages and they are almost crumbling with their age, but you see a number of entries and as you flip through, I'm going to read you a selection of them.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, here we go, here we go.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_02]: Give me.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_04]: You flipped one of the very first pages and you see a sketch of the hill where this tower eventually will stand and you see it rather beautiful than lovely and filled with trees and stuff that have since been cleared to make room for this tower.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_04]: The magic is strong here in the Tanglewood.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_04]: Even as a novice witch, I can feel it.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_04]: This will be the perfect base while I pursue my quest.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_03]: Do we get a sense that she did the drawing?
- 51:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you do.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_03]: Do we know if Dostania ever pursued a career in art?
- 51:31[SPEAKER_03]: Go ahead and roll me up.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, Brad.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_09]: Let's test.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, let's test.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_11]: I'm woody, yeah, it's a woody.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if you know if she like pursued it, but you certainly see an adept here.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_04]: As you're looking through this, you see a number of entries that all have like sketches that get better and better with age.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_04]: You see like little bits of doodling that becomes like the edges and the border of pages and very quickly like the entries get more and more own ornate over time.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_04]: And as you're flipping through, there is certainly a point where they stop getting or Nate and begin to get more ragged.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, see, and this is why we need arts education because every time someone has really good at art and they don't get to do art, they go evil.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_11]: You straight pipeline.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_04]: You begin to flip through kind of with this in your head and you see these early pieces getting more and more beautiful as she's talking about, the pixies have been quite hospitable.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_04]: I'm honestly charged by their queen and I think I've charged the queen as well into teaching me all the magic that she knows.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_04]: I would like, I think, to get a look at her wand though, the properties of honey align with my goals in certain ways.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_04]: So it may prove useful.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_04]: And you see like a bunch of like chemical formulas for honey and like a very life-like sketch of the honey Dipper wand and things if you pages later you see an entry that no longer is beautiful and it said It's just like scratch.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_04]: You see this wand is useless
- 53:06[SPEAKER_04]: underlined all caps.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_04]: I am no closer to discovering the secret to longevity.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_04]: Though perhaps I should not be so hasty.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_00]: I've found the dough not the answer to my deepest questions.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_00]: Honey is a magically potent item and easy to work with.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yes, easy to work with.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_00]: I must experiment with other sweets and see if they can enhance my craft.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_04]: See, entries about going to look at the fay.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_04]: You see, entries about a foolish fairy that traded away what they thought was a trinket, but Delsinian knew was a treasure in the soul called Periapt.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_04]: Ending with the lines, I now have a way to keep my soul preserved even in death.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_04]: I just need to craft a body worthy of hosting it.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
- 54:09[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I'm going to say you're kind of like reading this aloud a bit.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_03]: I just need to craft a body worthy of hosting it.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I'd laid stands up and like starts bowing, although no one is applauding.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_10]: Are you monologueing again?
- 54:23[SPEAKER_03]: I love Adelaide does the voices.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_04]: Winnie, I think as you're looking at this tapestry with this woman in the search for material pose, wearing what looks to be a soul-call periapte, you see a body worthy of hosting it.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_02]: before this painting, I'm probably on all fours, just kind of like taking it in, moment by moment, labor by layer, and like the irritation of the voice of Delcini of Adelaide has me scratching my ear with the back of my foot, and then I just stop right as I have the realizations, like, oh no, we have to find that bedroom.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_04]: Actually, when you wrote a successful check, I think as you get down on all fours, and you are like scratching behind your ear, you all of a sudden do what you do best, which is sniff.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_04]: At your feet, you smell shook at plums, you smell fresh rose buds, and most importantly you smell spear mint and white chocolate.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_04]: You smell what you immediately recognize as some kind of sleepy time tea, but it seems to be like spilled directly in front of this tapestry.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_03]: Do I notice that?
- 55:33[SPEAKER_04]: Winnie if you call it out like I think you you make the connection that like the same type of 10- the T ingredients that we have yeah, so T ingredients that you have minus the white chocolate feather Adelaide you see the T cup next to you kind of give it a sniff and you smell the spearmen's very strong in the white chocolate is kind of like just a bit around the rim
- 55:50[SPEAKER_04]: added you continue to read another entry.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_04]: This is getting more and more erratic.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_04]: The drawings are getting less precise.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_04]: These are getting to be like harsher and harsher sketches.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_04]: Like someone moving so fast that they can't take the time to get it to look right.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_04]: It just has to look close enough.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_00]: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
- 56:33[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, guys.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_00]: Oh.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_04]: And finally, you flip, flip, flip, flip to the final entry.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_04]: Jagged writing, space left for what is clearly a next entry that is an imagined success that did not come for Delsonia.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_00]: The moon is full.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_00]: The children are gathered.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_00]: The vessel is complete.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_00]: All that is left to the task is the doing.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_00]: My victory over the unending march of time.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_08]: You're so close.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_00]: I can almost taste it.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_03]: Does she, does she write that in the second floor?
- 57:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
- 58:04[SPEAKER_00]: But I get the head of myself tonight, the ritual, tomorrow, my true life begins.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_04]: And Adelaide, the entry for tomorrow, is conspicuously large and conspicuously empty.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_04]: As you know what happened on that night, Celine came with her retinue, destroyed the witch dalsenia, destroyed the dark chocolate night, and rescued the children of Deer Hollow.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_04]: But not able to defeat the candy curse, then it already taken effect.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_04]: you see now the engine, the spring that was wound to bring us to this place that has been firing ever since you first made your way from Deer Hollow now to this castle.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_04]: You see the full arc of it, you see that Dilsenia was crafting some kind of new body to move into.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_04]: She needed to understand sugar and honey in the effects of immortality and it seems as though she had succeeded
- 59:11[SPEAKER_04]: You hear mention of an experimentation chamber that must exist somewhere here, as far as you know, no one made mention of a body of a young dosenia being recovered, only over which dosenia being killed.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_03]: No face no case, soap opera rules.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_04]: As you are making that connection, Geraldine, you make your way to the top of the stairs and you see a door there in front of you.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_04]: You hear on the other side of it, some light shuffling.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_04]: You hear fluttering of wings.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_04]: You can recognize a ghost to the start truck that Raven be getting to like reconstitute in some way.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_04]: You hear a scuffing that you very much recognize to be hooves.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_04]: Oh boy, and you hear a voice as well.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_04]: not speaking, and behind the door it's muffled, but you hear someone almost groaning, uh-oh, in pain, or something.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, man.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_04]: And Geraldine, the last thing you hear, as you're like getting closer and closer to that door, you're listening deeper and deeper trying to understand if that voice is saying some kind of words.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_04]: Or if those hoof prints are indeed hooves what is that is that ghost that's talking that some other voice what is that sound from downstairs in the stacks You hear a body some olor as a mirror you open a book and are immediately knocked unconscious That's so cool
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_03]: You're so brave.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_03]: So brave.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_03]: Taking all of these things for the team.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_03]: So brave.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_10]: This wouldn't have happened if I had my horse.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_10]: We'll tell Mad about it.
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, she says she goes down.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_09]: So mad.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_09]: Boom.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_04]: Amir, you fall to the ground, asleep as the book in Somnia and its effects, clatters to the ground at your feet.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_10]: The book is called in Somnia.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_04]: The book is called in Somnia and its effects.
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_11]: That's perfect.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_11]: I love it.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_11]: Geraldine is sort of very elegantly and quietly.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_11]: Leap's back down the stairs because she knows we don't want them to know where we're tapping.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_11]: There's voices up here, but I'm here, I'm here, I'm here, I'm here, I'm here, I'm here, what happened to her?
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, she was reading this book, maybe I should read this book.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_11]: Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh,
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_04]: You kick the book.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_04]: Are you like shaking Mira awake or are you interacting with a mirror anyway?
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_04]: What do you do?
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I think the Cheryl team probably been down and goes to like, shake a mirror.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_04]: Amira, do me favor, roll me a wits test.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_04]: That sucks.
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_11]: Is that like your highest dad or are you like going to do really good?
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_11]: That's my lowest dad, but I beat it.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_10]: Six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_04]: Amir, you are roused from this magical slumber, as Geraldine shakes you, it seems like this spell wasn't particularly strong, it just knocked you out an unconscious.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_04]: As you awaken, your eyes immediately are rolled towards the bookcase, and you open your eyes, and at the bottom of the shelf, tucked away in a corner.
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_04]: In a space where you see there's a bunch of dust on like the front edge of the bookcase, there's one space that does not have dust.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_04]: You recognize the book is being moved into and out of often.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, and you see the title of the book.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_04]: As you're like kind of on your side, you can read it perfectly.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_04]: The greatest magical achievement of our time.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, okay.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I'll be the touch of that.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, we were like wakes up and just like is silent looking at Geraldine Winnie and Adelaide and then just pulls out a little bit of rage from her head And there's no bottles, so then she just like kind of has to throw it on the ground and it starts like melting through the floor
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_08]: Oh my god, I'm melting!
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_04]: You hear suddenly coming up from the floor a bunch of clatter of various pots and pans and you click like one of you glances down through this hole and you see like animated cookware begin to like attack a non-existent intruder and then like after a couple seconds like settled down back into like cooking.
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_11]: Amazing.
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_11]: Wow, I'm here.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_11]: Your rage was so, it helped us discover your things.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, look at this book, though.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_10]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
- 1:04:29[SPEAKER_04]: There's a momentary, like, crack of lightning from outside.
- 1:04:32[SPEAKER_04]: And you see all of the candles around the area, magically a light, as you step into the room.
- 1:04:41[SPEAKER_08]: Ah, what's the focus, focus?
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_04]: All burning with various, like, strange, technical or flames that you recognize are not only enchanted, but are used for various incantations and things like there is black blue, yellow, silver, gold, orange flames all around.
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_04]: And the center of this room is a massive work table.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_04]: There's like handwritten books detailing all the experiments, you see vials, mortar and pestles, cauldrons, all the classic like witchy paraphernalia.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_04]: And I think most importantly, you see in the center of the room like just off to the side of this massive work table.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_04]: is a very large, you might easily say human size, display case.
- 1:05:26[SPEAKER_04]: Uh-oh.
- 1:05:27[SPEAKER_04]: A foresight, you know, glass box with a large stand kind of with like a hook as if to go up under someone's arms.
- 1:05:34[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, like a giant Barbie box?
- 1:05:36[SPEAKER_02]: Like a Barbie box?
- 1:05:40[SPEAKER_04]: that you notice is conspicuously empty.
- 1:05:44[SPEAKER_02]: Err, ooh.
- 1:05:45[SPEAKER_02]: Brownie?
- 1:05:46[SPEAKER_02]: Tell me if that zit smells like the chocolate night.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_04]: Brownie jumps down, runs over.
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I smell the chocolate night in here, but not in the box.
- 1:05:58[SPEAKER_04]: It's something else.
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_01]: It smells like Delcini.
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_02]: Oh.
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_02]: Oh.
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm going to go hop in the box and I'm going to do the exact same scent work.
- 1:06:10[SPEAKER_04]: yet go ahead and roll me a I'll say roll it with check with advantage make your work with a lot of information here yeah just barely made it 10 out of your luck cool it's got hell yeah nice
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_04]: You do your whole scent work you look around here.
- 1:06:26[SPEAKER_04]: You get in the crevices and the nade gritty bits.
- 1:06:29[SPEAKER_04]: You smell on the tapestry and in the room and in the chair, you could smell a very aged dulciniar.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_04]: You can smell time on someone at a certain point.
- 1:06:39[SPEAKER_03]: Question, teacher, teacher, teacher, teacher, what does time smell like?
- 1:06:44[SPEAKER_04]: That's a valid question.
- 1:06:45[SPEAKER_04]: We want to know.
- 1:06:46[SPEAKER_04]: That is so valid.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_04]: It smells like...
- 1:06:53[SPEAKER_04]: Eggnog.
- 1:06:54[SPEAKER_02]: Oh.
- 1:06:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:06:55[SPEAKER_04]: I don't like that.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_02]: We accept this response.
- 1:06:57[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 1:06:57[SPEAKER_02]: Eggnog.
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a little bit of touch.
- 1:06:59[SPEAKER_02]: I will take you.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_02]: No, it is.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_02]: No question.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_11]: No question.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_11]: No question.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_11]: We use a one question.
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_06]: You've been used up your one question.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_09]: Eggnog.
- 1:07:10[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 1:07:12[SPEAKER_03]: I get it.
- 1:07:12[SPEAKER_03]: This week will be a little spicy.
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_04]: I think you recognize it smells a little senior, but it also smells like sugar.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_02]: And sugar.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_04]: I don't say they're legit.
- 1:07:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
- 1:07:51[SPEAKER_04]: As you guys spend time in this room, Amira Adelaide and Geraldine, go ahead and also roll me some wits checks.
- 1:07:58[SPEAKER_04]: Just to kind of see, as you guys are spending time here.
- 1:08:00[SPEAKER_04]: And when you do me favor, this is a dangerous area and you're spending some time, can you roll me a D4?
- 1:08:05[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it's my turn to do this now, Seth.
- 1:08:07[SPEAKER_04]: As long as you don't roll a line, nothing happens.
- 1:08:10[SPEAKER_04]: That's three.
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_03]: Excellent.
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:08:12[SPEAKER_04]: Adelaide, did you pass?
- 1:08:14[SPEAKER_03]: I did.
- 1:08:15[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, jodin?
- 1:08:16[SPEAKER_03]: Nare.
- 1:08:18[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, I'm here.
- 1:08:19[SPEAKER_03]: Nare.
- 1:08:20[SPEAKER_03]: Nare.
- 1:08:21[SPEAKER_03]: Nare.
- 1:08:22[SPEAKER_04]: Nare.
- 1:08:22[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 1:08:23[SPEAKER_04]: Adelaide, do me a favor.
- 1:08:24[SPEAKER_04]: Roll a D6 for me, and I'll tell you something else that you find in this room.
- 1:08:27[SPEAKER_04]: Ooh.
- 1:08:28[SPEAKER_03]: I wrote a one.
- 1:08:30[SPEAKER_04]: Whoa.
- 1:08:32[SPEAKER_04]: as you are looking beneath the notes here.
- 1:08:35[SPEAKER_04]: You begin to pull through the notes, and you see a lot of what you've found in the journal that Dolce and I was working with sugar and trying to refine it, working with honey, like when that didn't work, then she went deeper to the base level of sugar.
- 1:08:47[SPEAKER_04]: You see like a container of what seems to be like, some kind of soul-incrusted sugar, but as you are moving that aside, teacher, teacher, yes, yes.
- 1:08:58[SPEAKER_03]: What does an crusted soul look like?
- 1:09:01[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, I'm, cause like sugar becomes like caramel.
- 1:09:05[SPEAKER_04]: Understood, yes, yes, yes.
- 1:09:09[SPEAKER_04]: That is an excellent question.
- 1:09:13[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not kidding.
- 1:09:13[SPEAKER_04]: And let me tell you, it looks like pink, rock candy.
- 1:09:21[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:09:21[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 1:09:22[SPEAKER_02]: I think we're our candy and egg.
- 1:09:23[SPEAKER_02]: No, we're on a fire today.
- 1:09:25[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:09:26[SPEAKER_02]: No follow up questions.
- 1:09:27[SPEAKER_02]: I will take no follow up and I take no follow up questions at this time.
- 1:09:31[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 1:09:32[SPEAKER_04]: But as you are moving aside a bunch of papers, you see beneath that a very thick grimoire.
- 1:09:40[SPEAKER_04]: And I think all of the princesses here immediately feel the potency of this item, not that it is just magical, but that it is malevolent.
- 1:09:50[SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
- 1:09:51[SPEAKER_04]: I lead with your successful test you immediately recognize that this is a spellbook, this contains very dark and maybe cursed magic, even to look upon it could be dangerous.
- 1:10:04[SPEAKER_04]: But you are absolutely sure that while it is dangerous, it will likely also be powerful.
- 1:10:11[SPEAKER_03]: Do I still have that skirt that I kind of sacrifice to the altar of legally, not legally distinct song?
- 1:10:21[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 1:10:21[SPEAKER_04]: I think as you tore off the skirt, you swung it around and then became like a little capelet.
- 1:10:26[SPEAKER_03]: Of course, just so I'm gonna, yeah, I'm gonna take the capelet off and I'm gonna throw it over the book and put it in a bindle so that we have the book but no one looks upon the book.
- 1:10:39[SPEAKER_04]: Tell ya, you bingo up this book, you feel the emanating power and like, my levelance of this thing.
- 1:10:46[SPEAKER_04]: The fabric of your skirt turned capelate begins to just get like, grayer and darker, not necessarily fraying, but just taking on the appearance of weathering and evil.
- 1:10:59[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, I don't like the look of dead at all.
- 1:11:04[SPEAKER_04]: I think you immediately know this is safe to touch.
- 1:11:07[SPEAKER_04]: It is the opening of this that could be dangerous.
- 1:11:09[SPEAKER_02]: That's dangerous, okay?
- 1:11:13[SPEAKER_04]: What else you guys looking for in this room?
- 1:11:15[SPEAKER_04]: I think you recognize that there's a lot here you could learn about Dolceinias experimentations.
- 1:11:20[SPEAKER_04]: I think you, like, as you're looking through, you have most than information.
- 1:11:24[SPEAKER_04]: You recognize this empty case.
- 1:11:26[SPEAKER_04]: Winnie, as you're sifting through, you recognize that there is the smell of Dolceinia, the smell of sugar, the smell of youth.
- 1:11:33[SPEAKER_04]: You smell that smell, the trail of it, leading out back into the study.
- 1:11:39[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 1:11:39[SPEAKER_04]: And you could probably pick it up if you go back into the study and follow it to its terminus.
- 1:11:44[SPEAKER_02]: When we're finished here, I can follow this.
- 1:11:47[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna look down to Brownie.
- 1:11:48[SPEAKER_02]: We can follow this center a lot.
- 1:11:52[UNKNOWN]: Bye.
- 1:11:54[SPEAKER_04]: Do we see any thread or a loom?
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm.
- 1:11:59[SPEAKER_04]: I think in this room, you see, I don't think you see a loom, but you do see like thread, and you see a number of like textile elements here.
- 1:12:09[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 1:12:09[SPEAKER_04]: You see like, you see a number of like crafts and witchy elements, and amongst them is definitely.
- 1:12:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, very DIY.
- 1:12:16[SPEAKER_11]: It's the same interest of DIY.
- 1:12:19[SPEAKER_04]: Oh my god.
- 1:12:20[SPEAKER_04]: You see everything from herbalism elements that you see a lot of dried herbs and things and potions and like vials and things.
- 1:12:28[SPEAKER_04]: And I think you do see like a number of text-style arts that have been like, you know, so like runes, so into various things that they can be easily activated on clothes or like hung in places.
- 1:12:39[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, okay.
- 1:12:40[SPEAKER_11]: But we don't see anything that suggests, for instance, the tapestry from the other room was like crafted in this layer.
- 1:12:50[SPEAKER_11]: Do you see evidence?
- 1:12:51[SPEAKER_03]: I think it was that.
- 1:12:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:12:53[SPEAKER_03]: You're so smart.
- 1:12:54[SPEAKER_03]: That's a good question.
- 1:12:55[SPEAKER_03]: You're so smart.
- 1:12:57[SPEAKER_04]: As you are looking through this place, you begin to like move things aside and deep in the like back of this experimentation room, you pull out a large, I will say, I think you find a loom, and you recognize that there's like a large wheel of thread on something that is going down and getting dipped into some kind of like alchemical agent, and then going back up onto this loom, creating like some kind of magical weaving.
- 1:13:22[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
- 1:13:23[SPEAKER_03]: Does it smell like anything?
- 1:13:24[SPEAKER_03]: The ink?
- 1:13:25[SPEAKER_04]: It definitely has like that sweet smell like Delcini had found something that works as clear like seeing it again, again, and trying to find a way to refine it.
- 1:13:31[SPEAKER_03]: Does it also smell like youth?
- 1:13:33[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, it does also smell like youth.
- 1:13:35[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, uh, teacher.
- 1:13:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:13:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:13:39[SPEAKER_03]: What does youth smell like?
- 1:13:42[SPEAKER_04]: It smells like skinning your knee.
- 1:13:44[SPEAKER_04]: What?
- 1:13:45[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, so, like, kind of, coppery, a little, like, grassy earthy, okay?
- 1:13:50[SPEAKER_04]: And, like, it kind of smells like one starting to cry, and then not because you want to be brave.
- 1:13:58[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay.
- 1:13:58[SPEAKER_03]: So brave.
- 1:13:59[SPEAKER_03]: So brave.
- 1:14:00[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 1:14:01[SPEAKER_02]: It smells like blaming your older sibling for this.
- 1:14:02[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, we're good.
- 1:14:04[SPEAKER_11]: Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 1:14:07[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't my fault.
- 1:14:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's not what it smells like, Mom.
- 1:14:11[UNKNOWN]: All right.
- 1:14:12[SPEAKER_04]: Jody, yeah, I think you absolutely sensed that like that tapestry could have been woven in this kind of thing.
- 1:14:16[SPEAKER_04]: And it's very much infused with some kind of magic.
- 1:14:19[SPEAKER_11]: Very wary of this tapestry.
- 1:14:21[SPEAKER_11]: It's... Something about it, yeah, just feels spooky.
- 1:14:26[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I think, because you asked me specifically what does it smell like, when do I think you get close to this yarn?
- 1:14:32[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 1:14:33[SPEAKER_04]: It smells like experiment.
- 1:14:34[SPEAKER_11]: Ah, oh.
- 1:14:37[SPEAKER_11]: Ooh.
- 1:14:37[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, if it smells like experiment, do we see sugar plums or rose buds anywhere?
- 1:14:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think it's scattered about here.
- 1:14:43[SPEAKER_04]: You see that copy of that recipe for Sleepy Time Tea?
- 1:14:46[SPEAKER_04]: The components are here, oh no.
- 1:14:48[SPEAKER_04]: You see some like dried rosemary.
- 1:14:50[SPEAKER_04]: You see like a drag of sugar plum.
- 1:14:54[SPEAKER_11]: Ah, who hears real good at spares?
- 1:14:56[SPEAKER_03]: It might be a mirror.
- 1:14:58[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like it would be have to be a mirror.
- 1:15:00[SPEAKER_03]: You're the one who's like good at kind of taking elements and turning them into real things.
- 1:15:04[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, because I'm the healer, I have to be good at magic.
- 1:15:09[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, yeah, I mean, I mean, yeah.
- 1:15:12[SPEAKER_11]: Like you know how posh and shwer can be written.
- 1:15:15[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:15:15[SPEAKER_03]: It's like a skill you have.
- 1:15:16[SPEAKER_10]: I'll do it.
- 1:15:17[SPEAKER_03]: You just like destroy the floor with your anger, turned corporeal.
- 1:15:23[SPEAKER_03]: So I feel like if you're the one who would know how to do this, because you're so smart and brave.
- 1:15:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:15:28[SPEAKER_11]: Well, it is just like a mirrored do you think do you think this sleepy time tea?
- 1:15:33[SPEAKER_11]: Do you think it has to be ingested or like if we just sort of splashed on someone with they found a sleet?
- 1:15:39[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, well, that's a good question.
- 1:15:43[SPEAKER_04]: Brian Go to roll me a wits check.
- 1:15:46[SPEAKER_04]: I'll say roll up with advantage.
- 1:15:47[SPEAKER_02]: There we go.
- 1:15:48[SPEAKER_04]: You got it.
- 1:15:48[SPEAKER_04]: You guys got a lot of information.
- 1:15:49[SPEAKER_04]: We do have a lot of information.
- 1:15:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:15:52[UNKNOWN]: Yeah
- 1:15:53[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it's test.
- 1:15:55[SPEAKER_04]: Thank god, that's advantage because I passed you look at this like alchemical reagent that this threat is going through you smell like the spirit vent and the sugar plumb and the white chocolate you immediately recognize what this is in terms of a magical sense.
- 1:16:10[SPEAKER_04]: This is a teleportation spell.
- 1:16:13[SPEAKER_04]: and a alchemical key.
- 1:16:17[SPEAKER_04]: So what you are recognizing is whatever this tapestry was or whatever this tapestry is representing, it is a doorway.
- 1:16:23[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 1:16:24[SPEAKER_04]: And the key to get through that doorway is the Sleepy Time T. Wow.
- 1:16:30[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, so you drink the tea and then you walk through the magic tapestry in the other room.
- 1:16:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:16:36[SPEAKER_03]: But Amira, how do you get back?
- 1:16:38[SPEAKER_11]: Do you just drink more on the other side?
- 1:16:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:16:44[SPEAKER_02]: Brian is like, no, I'm not going to contest that.
- 1:16:46[SPEAKER_02]: Run with it.
- 1:16:49[SPEAKER_02]: The confident knot of a GM.
- 1:16:53[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 1:16:54[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, that's crazy.
- 1:16:55[SPEAKER_02]: I do her ways for a tapestry.
- 1:16:58[SPEAKER_02]: I wonder if we could use the rope to straddle that doorway.
- 1:17:02[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, maybe someone drinks the potion.
- 1:17:04[SPEAKER_03]: And then yeah, we hook a rope to them.
- 1:17:06[SPEAKER_03]: And then they go deeper into it.
- 1:17:08[SPEAKER_03]: And then we can yank them out.
- 1:17:10[SPEAKER_03]: Could soak half the rope in a potion, maybe?
- 1:17:13[SPEAKER_03]: Adelaide looks at Brownie.
- 1:17:17[SPEAKER_02]: No, that works for me.
- 1:17:20[SPEAKER_02]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
- 1:17:46[SPEAKER_03]: And that's why Browne has to be the one who goes.
- 1:17:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, yes.
- 1:17:50[SPEAKER_03]: I get a good dog if we're going to travel through space.
- 1:17:52[SPEAKER_03]: We have to put it on my dog.
- 1:17:55[SPEAKER_03]: Don't eat that bird for a second.
- 1:17:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:17:58[SPEAKER_02]: We're supposed to go.
- 1:17:59[SPEAKER_02]: No, Browne, be fine.
- 1:18:00[SPEAKER_07]: You'll be back.
- 1:18:00[SPEAKER_02]: You'll be back, Browne.
- 1:18:03[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 1:18:03[SPEAKER_02]: No, we're good.
- 1:18:04[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to get the tea ready.
- 1:18:05[SPEAKER_02]: The only thing we need to do is stir it with a feather and we need to go get that damn raven.
- 1:18:08[SPEAKER_11]: where it's speaking to the river.
- 1:18:12[SPEAKER_11]: I listened up to staircase and I'm quite certain that there was a door in behind the door.
- 1:18:19[SPEAKER_11]: I heard some whofen potentially unicorn.
- 1:18:22[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, it was up to there, it was gold.
- 1:18:24[SPEAKER_11]: Demirac, gold.
- 1:18:28[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
- 1:18:30[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, it just grabs the mirror.
- 1:18:31[SPEAKER_10]: Amirac has her acts out.
- 1:18:33[SPEAKER_10]: It's like, no, no.
- 1:18:36[SPEAKER_11]: It's a birds up there, but there was a voice, it sounded like it was in pain, maybe you're something, there was something familiar about it, but I don't, it's, it didn't bring a pan.
- 1:18:50[SPEAKER_02]: Because this will inform my decision making, the thing that sounded in pain, that sound human or animal.
- 1:18:58[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Brian, did I put it?
- 1:18:59[SPEAKER_02]: Did I put it?

- 1:19:15[SPEAKER_11]: It could have been in pain, I suppose.
- 1:19:17[SPEAKER_11]: But it would mean that they're weak.

- 1:21:36[SPEAKER_04]: You hear a clip-clopping of who's behind the door and you hear the sound of something clearly wrestling in pain.
- 1:21:45[SPEAKER_04]: I think the image that conjures in your mind of what you're hearing behind this door is a voice almost like someone in bed, like wrestling with a sickness in bed.
- 1:21:55[SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:21:56[SPEAKER_04]: And just like almost calling out and trying to just like force the way through some kind of pain.

- 1:22:43[SPEAKER_04]: And you kick in the door.
- 1:22:54[SPEAKER_04]: Amira, you've been looking for a unicorn for years ever since you saw it as a little girl and even more so now that you need its tears to reverse the curse on Matt, and so it is worth saying that the unicorn, those standing right in front of you, is not the thing that you notice first.
