- 0:00Speaker 1: Now more, Mark Simone on seventeen. Well, you know, the
- 0:06Speaker 1: great Jimmy Fayla is now on wo R every weeknight,
- 0:10Speaker 1: nine to midnights. That excellent show, very funny, very interesting,
- 0:13Speaker 1: nine to midnight tonight every weeknight. Hey, make sure you
- 0:16Speaker 1: watch this Saturday night show on the Fox News Channel,
- 0:19Speaker 1: best late night show, funniest monologue in television. It's Saturday
- 0:24Speaker 1: Night's ten o'clock on the Fox News Channel. Jimmy Fayla.
- 0:27Speaker 1: How you doing.
- 0:29Speaker 2: I'm doing good. I will have you know. I wrote
- 0:32Speaker 2: in the Fox Today and the Long Island Railroad with
- 0:34Speaker 2: two of your biggest fans.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Oh oh so okay, were great. They were Long Island people.
- 0:39Speaker 2: I did not get names, but I did take a
- 0:40Speaker 2: picture and they they said, we just want to say
- 0:43Speaker 2: we love you on Saturday night and we love that
- 0:45Speaker 2: you put your wife and your kid on TV. But
- 0:48Speaker 2: I have to tell you we always listen to you
- 0:50Speaker 2: on Mark Simone, I go, well, today's Thursday, and you
- 0:53Speaker 2: don't look like you have a radio on you And
- 0:55Speaker 2: they died laughing. So their perfect attendance might have dropped,
- 1:00Speaker 2: but they were man, were they all over you? Like
- 1:02Speaker 2: in all honesty, if I would have met them earlier
- 1:04Speaker 2: in the train. They probably would have bought my ticket.
- 1:06Speaker 2: So take a bow, Simone, take a bow.
- 1:09Speaker 1: You're a big star to me, Phil. What are you
- 1:11Speaker 1: doing righting on the train? Last night?
- 1:15Speaker 2: Was the Hawks? The Fox News Christmas party? Yeah, and
- 1:18Speaker 2: I was told I should not be operating heavy machinery
- 1:21Speaker 2: for at least forty eight hours after what went on
- 1:23Speaker 2: at that open bar.
- 1:28Speaker 1: So I've been going all these Christmas parties. It really
- 1:32Speaker 1: gets to you after a while. How much can you eat?
- 1:34Speaker 1: How much can you drink? What do you give people
- 1:36Speaker 1: advice on how to get through these Christmas parties?
- 1:39Speaker 2: Well, this is the true thing you need to do,
- 1:41Speaker 2: because everybody's like, you know, etiquette at Christmas parties. Go
- 1:45Speaker 2: and have fun. Don't worry about, you know, having a
- 1:47Speaker 2: drink or two, that's not the issue. You just don't
- 1:50Speaker 2: want to be the person that everyone's talking about the
- 1:53Speaker 2: next day. You know, every company Christmas party ends with
- 1:57Speaker 2: people going, hey, did you see so and so? Okay?
- 2:01Speaker 2: And if you don't know who so and so is,
- 2:03Speaker 2: it was you okay, So sing all the Christmas carols
- 2:07Speaker 2: you want. Just don't be the guy with the Rudolph
- 2:09Speaker 2: antlers on standing on top of.
- 2:11Speaker 1: The bar and you'll be fun. Hey. You know in
- 2:14Speaker 1: three weeks, Mom Donnie gets inaugurated. What the hell are
- 2:18Speaker 1: we gonna do?
- 2:20Speaker 2: Oh, that's why the Statue of Liberty is wearing a Berkeley.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I was confused. I'm kidding, confused. What are we gonna do?
- 2:29Speaker 2: This is the truth, man, Okay. My biggest concern as
- 2:32Speaker 2: a New Yorker is always gonna be for the cops
- 2:34Speaker 2: because they're doing the most important job, and I'm concerned
- 2:37Speaker 2: with their morale. In terms of policies, he really can't
- 2:41Speaker 2: do anything.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Yeah, we're gonna see a lot more tents on sidewalks
- 2:45Speaker 2: because he's not gonna sweep the homeless encampments. So it's
- 2:48Speaker 2: gonna be like we're living in Colder Portland. Is what's
- 2:51Speaker 2: gonna happen. We're gonna chang the New York's name to
- 2:55Speaker 2: Colder Portland for four years. But I think, and that's
- 2:59Speaker 2: why I'm happy Lakeman got in this week two is
- 3:02Speaker 2: that puts enough pressure on Hochel that she really can't
- 3:07Speaker 2: sell out to all of the tax things and far
- 3:09Speaker 2: left things he would need her to do to implement
- 3:11Speaker 2: his agenda, which might just save the city. Just those
- 3:15Speaker 2: two being in the race this early have to make
- 3:17Speaker 2: her a little more self conscious about blowing it.
- 3:20Speaker 1: So that's my home.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I don't know who's gonna win, but they might have
- 3:22Speaker 2: saved us.
- 3:23Speaker 1: I don't know that phrase, hkeal can't sell out? Yeah,
- 3:26Speaker 1: you underestimate her ability to sell out.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I think do you remember do you remember when they
- 3:32Speaker 2: were floating congestion pricing and she goes, hard working New
- 3:37Speaker 2: Yorkers deserve a break. That's why we're charging you an
- 3:41Speaker 2: extra nine dollars instead of an extra fifteen. No, no, no,
- 3:45Speaker 2: that's not a break. A break would be we're not
- 3:46Speaker 2: going to do congestion pricing, but instead, no, she raised
- 3:49Speaker 2: it by nine bucks. Yeah, she's as big of a
- 3:51Speaker 2: scam as there is. No one deserves to lose an
- 3:54Speaker 2: office more, you know, and that it kills me. So hopefully,
- 3:59Speaker 2: you know, the Republicans get their act together, because if
- 4:01Speaker 2: we can't win now with about forty percent of the
- 4:04Speaker 2: state you know, is down in Florida right now putting
- 4:07Speaker 2: plastic over a sofa, let's say, if she's not held
- 4:11Speaker 2: to account for that, the Republicans are never going to
- 4:14Speaker 2: win a statewide election.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, I'm looking at this. Uh, I'm just watching this.
- 4:19Speaker 1: It's on the screen right now, the big self driving
- 4:21Speaker 1: cars in instead of uber drivers, You're gonna have a
- 4:25Speaker 1: self driving uber all this stuff. Uh, you know, I
- 4:28Speaker 1: don't even trust that rumba vacuum cleaner doing it by itself. So,
- 4:33Speaker 1: but you used to drive a cab? What you got
- 4:35Speaker 1: to have a driver, don't you? One hundred percent?
- 4:39Speaker 2: Uh?
- 4:40Speaker 1: There?
- 4:40Speaker 2: And it's it's for things people forget about other services
- 4:44Speaker 2: cab drivers offer. Okay, if you get in a cab
- 4:47Speaker 2: at two in the morning and go, hey, where can
- 4:49Speaker 2: I find a.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Little action around here?
- 4:51Speaker 2: You know the waym doesn't know how to get the
- 4:53Speaker 2: AOC's district, but the cab driver does. You know, you
- 4:58Speaker 2: know those wonderful stories. At least once year a girl
- 5:00Speaker 2: gives birth in a taxi because the driver happened to
- 5:04Speaker 2: be a licensed part surgeon in Syria, but he can't,
- 5:06Speaker 2: you know, work here. That ain't happen in Away Mo.
- 5:10Speaker 2: And as I was telling the Lovely Carly Shimkis on
- 5:13Speaker 2: my show last Saturday, they say, the AI is so real,
- 5:16Speaker 2: real now that it's developing human feelings. Do you really
- 5:19Speaker 2: want to be a girl in a waymo that's now
- 5:21Speaker 2: in love with you and isn't going to let you out.
- 5:24Speaker 2: You got to explain that you're late for the meeting
- 5:26Speaker 2: because my car was putting the moves on me.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Come on, man, hey, Trump derangement syndrome. It just gets
- 5:34Speaker 1: worse and worse and worse. Like Rosie O'Donnell, What the
- 5:37Speaker 1: hell she doesn't shut up? If she hates him so much,
- 5:40Speaker 1: why does she keep talking about him?
- 5:42Speaker 2: It's killing me. So she does this interview with Jim Acosta,
- 5:46Speaker 2: and the hardest part of the interview is figuring out
- 5:48Speaker 2: which one's Rosy and which one's Acosta. See they have
- 5:53Speaker 2: the same glances on and they're sitting there, you know,
- 5:57Speaker 2: hooting and hollering about Trump. It's the point of moving
- 5:59Speaker 2: to Ireland was to get away from him. You should
- 6:02Speaker 2: be done talking about it. But obviously we all knew
- 6:05Speaker 2: that was a stunt. But here's a pro tip.
- 6:07Speaker 1: For everybody listening.
- 6:09Speaker 2: If, if, if you are able to move out of
- 6:12Speaker 2: the country depending on who wins the election, you're doing
- 6:16Speaker 2: fine in life. Most people listening right now don't have
- 6:19Speaker 2: the luxury to just pick up and switch country. You
- 6:22Speaker 2: got money to do that. You know what I'm saying.
- 6:25Speaker 2: So at least she held on to some of the royalties.
- 6:27Speaker 2: She didn't give them all to her Xanax dealer.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Hey, Jimmy Faylis on WOR every weeknight, Now, it's an
- 6:35Speaker 1: excellent show nine to midnight. What do you got on
- 6:38Speaker 1: tonight show?
- 6:39Speaker 2: Well, we got Kennedy coming by, which is going to
- 6:42Speaker 2: be great. And I believe you're gonna hear a cameo
- 6:44Speaker 2: from my wife, Jenny Fyala. It is her birthday today,
- 6:48Speaker 2: and you know, booking her on TV and radio is
- 6:50Speaker 2: way cheaper than buying her a gift mark. Come on, man,
- 6:53Speaker 2: let's go.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Well, she seems she seems great, But why do keep
- 6:56Speaker 1: having your wife? Wouldn't be great, isn't it. Don't you
- 6:59Speaker 1: want to get away from the I've never seen that
- 7:01Speaker 1: such a happy marriage.
- 7:02Speaker 2: But the way my life works with radio five nights
- 7:06Speaker 2: a week on O R and all the TV they
- 7:07Speaker 2: make me do it Fox, and then I go on
- 7:09Speaker 2: the weekend, I won't usually doing stand up at a
- 7:10Speaker 2: feeder somewhere. The actually is the only time I see
- 7:13Speaker 2: her as if I book her on TV.
- 7:15Speaker 1: So it works out for me, you know, and it
- 7:18Speaker 1: does a great show every Saturday night on the Fox
- 7:20Speaker 1: News Channel ten to eleven. It's that's the best monologue.
- 7:25Speaker 1: That is the best monologue on TV. How long does
- 7:26Speaker 1: it take you to do? You don't write that all
- 7:28Speaker 1: in one day, did you? I do?
- 7:30Speaker 2: I read it all myself, but I spend the whole
- 7:32Speaker 2: week putting it together, meaning, you know, figuring out which
- 7:34Speaker 2: stories rise to the level of everyone in the country
- 7:37Speaker 2: will know them. And once I've figured out which stories
- 7:40Speaker 2: kind of have the altitude, you just sit down and
- 7:42Speaker 2: piece it together. It's your own little narrative. And it
- 7:46Speaker 2: is the most fun I'll ever have in show business
- 7:48Speaker 2: doing that because it's just you. There's nobody there to
- 7:51Speaker 2: save you. There's no panelists to get out of trouble.
- 7:54Speaker 2: And again, if it Joe, you're a lot of TV
- 7:55Speaker 2: a lot of these nights. If a joke don't work,
- 7:57Speaker 2: you gotta save it, you know. And it's one thing
- 7:59Speaker 2: to say, even in a comedy club when you're just
- 8:01Speaker 2: talking to like, you know, one hundred screaming drunks in
- 8:04Speaker 2: a Basslaurette party drinking out of you know.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Genitalia straws.
- 8:07Speaker 2: But it's another thing when there's a couple million people
- 8:10Speaker 2: watching and you're.
- 8:10Speaker 1: On the biggest channel in the world. I love it.
- 8:12Speaker 2: It's a very very high wire thing to do, so
- 8:15Speaker 2: I'm glad you appreciate it. Man.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the best monologue in television. He writes it himself.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Stephen Colbert does a week week monologue. And I look,
- 8:23Speaker 1: he's got fourteen writers. What the hell do these fourteen
- 8:25Speaker 1: guys do?
- 8:27Speaker 2: Yeah, that is the second biggest scam behind those Somalians
- 8:31Speaker 2: who got the billions. I actually think I held the
- 8:35Speaker 2: Somalians in higher regards than Colbert writers because that's technically
- 8:38Speaker 2: a bigger ripoff.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Oh that's a good point. So you got to listen
- 8:43Speaker 1: to him every night, nine to midnight. And now your
- 8:46Speaker 1: wife's birthday, what do you do for her? What are
- 8:48Speaker 1: you gonna get her something? You're gonna take her out?
- 8:50Speaker 2: You know what, she is going out. We're gonna go
- 8:52Speaker 2: out to dinner on Long Island. She wanted to see
- 8:54Speaker 2: a play, so I got tickets to see the Michael
- 8:56Speaker 2: Jackson play. Apparently, this Michael Jackson is so realistic. People
- 9:01Speaker 2: keep their kids away from them. I can't stop it.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Then we'll go eat some Italian food on Long Island.
- 9:07Speaker 1: It's gonna be great, very good. All right, it sounds
- 9:09Speaker 1: like a great way to celebrate. And tonight nine to midnight.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You having fun doing the radio show, right.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Oh, it's so great. I love OAR because it's my people,
- 9:19Speaker 2: you know what I mean. So it doesn't even feel
- 9:21Speaker 2: like a radio show. It just feels like you're talking
- 9:24Speaker 2: too much at your aunt's house. Great, so great because
- 9:28Speaker 2: it's our people, you know, New York. We live in
- 9:30Speaker 2: our own energy, you know. And there's so many great
- 9:33Speaker 2: people in the city in Staten Island. And I love like,
- 9:36Speaker 2: on the rare occasion that I'm on the railroad, I
- 9:39Speaker 2: will always meet an o R listener that has something
- 9:42Speaker 2: to say about you and me, and it's my favorite figure.
- 9:44Speaker 1: We're like a roadduo.
- 9:44Speaker 2: We're gonna have to start playing Atlantic City. Seem like
- 9:46Speaker 2: a Martin Lewis or something like that.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Definitely anytime. Well, if you haven't listened, Jimmy Fail is
- 9:51Speaker 1: on nine to midnight tonight every weeknight, nine to midnight.
- 9:55Speaker 1: It's an excellent show. It's very funny. You'll love it
- 9:57Speaker 1: nine to midnight, and make sure you're watching them on TV.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Best late night show on TV. He's on Saturday nights
- 10:02Speaker 1: at ten o'clock on the Fox News Channel. Of course,
- 10:05Speaker 1: follow him on Twitter and Instagram and all that stuff.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Jimmy Fayla, thanks for being with us.
- 10:11Speaker 2: You're the man mark Off they here.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Take care. Yeah, excellent show nine to midnight. Don't miss it.
- 10:17Speaker 1: It's tonight on seven ten WR
