A brand-new chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace just launched in Kanawha County, ready to build beds for kids without one. Their first training build cranked out four beds—and they’re just getting started. Founded in 2012 to tackle nationwide bed shortages, this local team is community-driven, bank-account-free, and focused on kids sleeping on couches or floors. Volunteers learn the craft, and the real reward? Delivering a bed to a child.
