Latest / Seth Grossman – Liberty and Prosperity / 7.19.26 Seth Grossman WPG Radio. “Vote Harvesting” by government funded “community organizers” is bad, but it is not illegal fraud. The solution is changing law back to in-person voting on one Election Day. Bring back Elon Musk DOGE cuts.

- 0:37- is blur your own breakfast off the menu,
- 0:39- tip the server, and have a good faith
- 0:42- support
- 0:43- of
- 0:44- American
- 0:46- principles, the values that made America great and
- 0:48- how we make America
- 0:50- great again.
- 0:51- And of course
- 0:53- a lot of that is explained in my
- 0:54- book,
- 0:55- the 1676
- 0:57- project
- 0:58- how
- 0:59- New Jersey shaped America that four minute introduction
- 1:03- to the book that was on your program.
- 1:05- One of the, I guess media people a
- 1:08- guy called John Jurgaitis of of the Down
- 1:11- Beach Buzz
- 1:12- turned that into
- 1:13- a a four minute video, which is very
- 1:16- interesting. It's posted on our website at libertyandprosperity.com.
- 1:19- And if anyone wants to get the book,
- 1:21- you can get it on Amazon for $24.95
- 1:24- or from us at our meeting or anywhere
- 1:27- around for $20 in person. And, again, if
- 1:30- you wanna get, learn how to do that,
- 1:32- just contact us at info@libertyandprosperity.com.
- 1:36- Certainly, we we gave the books away on
- 1:38- the July 4, but,
- 1:40- it is well worth reading. Anyway, about Trump's
- 1:43- speech, I I thought it was interesting.
- 1:45- His top points he brought up of, for
- 1:47- example, non citizen voting. Well, the best way
- 1:50- to stop non citizens from voting is to
- 1:52- deport illegals
- 1:54- and to
- 1:56- and if
- 1:57- anyone who's a non citizen here with a
- 1:59- green card breaks the law
- 2:02- revoke their green card and deport them and
- 2:05- basically that's what Trump has been doing for
- 2:07- the past year
- 2:08- and,
- 2:09- really non citizen voting,
- 2:11- is really not a big problem right now
- 2:14- because of that. Because even though some non
- 2:16- citizens,
- 2:17- may be on the books,
- 2:19- now that they see what is happening,
- 2:22- to people who who get a
- 2:24- traffic ticket or a drug charge or anything,
- 2:27- they're getting deported. So
- 2:28- I think that's pretty much under control.
- 2:32- When
- 2:33- President Trump talked about the interference in election,
- 2:37- About China getting the names of our voters
- 2:40- and then getting information to them to influence
- 2:42- their vote.
- 2:44- You know, sadly whether the Chinese or anyone
- 2:46- else
- 2:47- gets that voter information, we're an open society
- 2:51- and there's nothing you could do,
- 2:53- to get people from getting public records, public
- 2:56- information
- 2:57- and using them to influence them, people.
- 3:00- So China has been doing that
- 3:02- but the
- 3:03- probably even bigger than China, Qatar Q A
- 3:06- T A R.
- 3:07- That's basically a Muslim Brotherhood country and they've
- 3:10- pumped $62,000,000,000
- 3:13- into our colleges and high schools
- 3:15- during the past thirty years. The influence,
- 3:19- you know how our students
- 3:21- feel and how they
- 3:23- vote. So there's really no substitute
- 3:25- for
- 3:26- educating our children. You know getting them off
- 3:28- TikTok,
- 3:29- having them read books,
- 3:31- you know ditch the the screens,
- 3:34- learn critical
- 3:36- how to tell a lie from the truth
- 3:38- by by analyzing it and so
- 3:41- you know that's not an easy thing to
- 3:43- do but we have to focus on it
- 3:44- and I think my sixteen seventy six book
- 3:47- points that out. You know there's you just
- 3:49- have to read
- 3:51- the thing that made civilization
- 3:53- was when the cavemen used to swap stories
- 3:56- around the campfire
- 3:57- and you can't you know learn a lifetime
- 4:00- of experience
- 4:01- of somebody and you know you actually can't
- 4:04- learn everything you need to know in a
- 4:05- lifetime.
- 4:07- You need hundreds and thousands of years of
- 4:09- collective wisdom
- 4:11- to live in a normal
- 4:13- comfortable civilized society and that means reading books
- 4:17- and what's happening if people stop reading books
- 4:19- and they just you know go by what
- 4:21- they see on tick tock or on TV
- 4:23- we're right back to the caveman days of
- 4:25- swapping stories around a campfire
- 4:27- so we have to you know teach our
- 4:29- children how to read. We have to read.
- 4:32- We have to get back to those Bible
- 4:34- values. We have to go back to the
- 4:36- golden rule doing to others
- 4:38- as you would want others to do into
- 4:40- you.
- 4:41- You can't if there's a failure in your
- 4:42- life we got to learn from Ben Franklin
- 4:45- learn a skill work with other people
- 4:48- save your money
- 4:49- form partnerships
- 4:50- get married do these things to achieve success
- 4:53- for yourself
- 4:54- instead of being jealous at somebody else and
- 4:56- wanting the government to take something from somebody
- 4:56- else and give it to you now we
- 4:56- have to give it to you. Now we
- 4:59- have to use logic and reason again so,
- 5:02- yeah it's easy to complain about Chinese influencer
- 5:04- or or Qatar in influence or this influence
- 5:07- or that influence but if people are educated
- 5:10- and have principles and moral standards and think
- 5:12- for
- 5:19- identify
- 5:20- the fake stuff and sort it out, and,
- 5:23- then we can move forward.
- 5:25- You know,
- 5:26- you said a lot of things there and
- 5:30- I don't know how you get the young
- 5:31- people off TikTok.
- 5:34- It starts right there, you know.
- 5:36- And you're right. You know, we gotta read
- 5:38- more,
- 5:39- We gotta do more thinking.
- 5:41- And
- 5:42- the,
- 5:43- the the these
- 5:44- TikTok and all these things don't encourage thinking.
- 5:47- Just, you know,
- 5:48- clickbait and all that stuff. So, yeah, it's
- 5:50- it's it's a very good point.
- 5:53- And and it's a painful thing and I
- 5:55- was there upfront and personal because I I
- 5:57- spent two weeks on vacation,
- 5:59- you know, with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids.
- 6:02- And it is very, very tempting. You wanna
- 6:04- enjoy dinner, you wanna talk.
- 6:06- Kids are getting are distracted
- 6:09- they're bored they're running around it's very easy
- 6:13- to take that cell phone put a game
- 6:15- on it and stick it in front of
- 6:16- the kid that's a great pacifier for twenty
- 6:18- minutes
- 6:19- But the long term damage is well documented
- 6:22- and you just have to resist it. You
- 6:24- just have to say, well, you know, almost
- 6:26- like our parents. Our parents didn't go out
- 6:27- to eat, you know, every
- 6:30- night. Then you go out to eat every
- 6:31- week was a important thing you know meals
- 6:34- at home
- 6:35- but the discipline of getting kids that if
- 6:38- they're bored they they can't just feel
- 6:41- that I just pick up a cell phone
- 6:43- pick up a screen you know pick up
- 6:45- an iPad
- 6:46- and have somebody entertain me all the time
- 6:48- you know that's that's something
- 6:51- that it because if we do that
- 6:53- then yeah if people rely on the screen
- 6:56- for everything
- 6:57- it's very easy to influence them to to
- 7:00- do some very bad things, not just the
- 7:02- politics. So so Trump touched on that, but
- 7:04- I think we have to take it the
- 7:06- rest of the way and learn the the
- 7:07- long term,
- 7:08- problems.
- 7:10- I agree. I agree. Yeah. That definitely. I
- 7:12- agree. I mean, Trump Trump was right about
- 7:14- the, we need a voter ID that would
- 7:16- cut down on on fraud.
- 7:19- The the idea of being able to hack
- 7:21- voting machines.
- 7:22- To me, who's been in politics my entire
- 7:25- life,
- 7:26- it's it absolutely baffles me
- 7:29- why when we in New Jersey
- 7:31- had these machines, these voting machines called Schoop
- 7:35- mechanical voting machines.
- 7:37- We had those voting machines in New Jersey
- 7:39- since 1890.
- 7:41- They were mechanical not electronic.
- 7:44- You know, there was a counter,
- 7:47- you opened up the counter at it when
- 7:49- the polls close at 08:00 at night. Everyone
- 7:51- knew how they worked. If the counter didn't
- 7:53- work, there was a backup register tape that
- 7:56- recorded every vote and suddenly in the 1890s
- 7:59- or rather in the 1990s and you know
- 8:01- just you know thirty years ago we got
- 8:04- rid of them all and got this complicated
- 8:06- computer stuff that we have now
- 8:09- and it was done when we had Republican
- 8:11- governor, Christie Todd Whitman,
- 8:13- Republican
- 8:14- state senate, Republican legislator. We had Bill Gormley,
- 8:17- all those Republicans and they got rid of
- 8:19- those mechanical voting machines. It would be so
- 8:22- easy to just get them back because we
- 8:24- know they worked for a hundred years.
- 8:27- But that, you know, maybe someone who
- 8:29- one of the county officials could could talk
- 8:31- about
- 8:32- why that happened and why we can't go
- 8:34- back to it.
- 8:36- Well well, we have a lot of questions
- 8:37- for them. That that that'll be another one.
- 8:40- But but by the way, the biggest,
- 8:43- problem that is causing Republicans to lose,
- 8:46- and I know I've talked about this a
- 8:48- lot,
- 8:49- and and that's the legal vote harvesting.
- 8:53- I think I'm an expert on elections because
- 8:55- my first election when I was like 26
- 8:58- years old, I lost by three votes.
- 9:00- And then I got elected
- 9:02- as a county commissioner
- 9:04- by one vote.
- 9:05- And I saw how it works and and
- 9:07- the real problem
- 9:09- is is not, you know, illegal votes are
- 9:11- always a problem and Democrats have always
- 9:14- had an advantage
- 9:17- in voter theft because Democrats believe government is
- 9:20- important.
- 9:21- So so they wanna win the election so
- 9:23- they could get free stuff from the government.
- 9:24- It comes naturally to them. But the biggest
- 9:27- problem is not the illegal votes, it's the
- 9:30- legal votes.
- 9:31- And if you look at the people, whenever
- 9:33- you see a Republican is ahead on election
- 9:36- night
- 9:36- and then you'll see in the next two
- 9:38- or three days these paper ballots come in,
- 9:41- and you know with and and they go
- 9:43- 90% for the Democrats, 98%
- 9:45- for the Democrats.
- 9:47- And and it's easy to think that there's
- 9:49- fraud going on, but what is really happening
- 9:52- is voting voter harvesters.
- 9:54- You got these, community organizers.
- 9:57- They're in these organizations
- 9:59- that are funded by the government.
- 10:01- They give out three electric bill vouchers. Vouchers.
- 10:04- You know, free food vouchers,
- 10:07- free this, free that,
- 10:09- free housing vouchers.
- 10:10- And they get a whole class of people
- 10:12- who are dependent on them.
- 10:15- And then before the election, they just go
- 10:17- around. You know, the people who are on
- 10:19- their drug program, their alcohol program, their, you
- 10:22- know, psychiatric
- 10:23- program, mental health, all that stuff.
- 10:27- These people would never be voting ordinarily
- 10:30- because some of them are drunk, some of
- 10:31- them are on drugs, some of them are
- 10:33- sick, some of them have legitimate problems, some
- 10:36- of them are old, some of them are
- 10:37- nursing homes.
- 10:38- But the fact is all these people are
- 10:40- dependent
- 10:42- on some organization
- 10:43- to to to keep them
- 10:45- going. And so about a month before the
- 10:47- election, the the same people who give them
- 10:49- the benefit say, oh, by the way, if
- 10:51- you want the funding to keep going, if
- 10:53- you want the program to keep going here,
- 10:55- vote for these candidates and they'll keep us
- 10:57- going.
- 10:58- That's the real problem
- 11:00- And Elon Musk identified it with his Doge,
- 11:03- doge,
- 11:05- and,
- 11:05- and and and it's encouraged by this vote
- 11:08- harvest. We've got to get back to one
- 11:10- election day. Because if we went back to
- 11:11- one election day, 95%
- 11:13- of those people would not be voting, and
- 11:15- that's the key to honest elections. But to
- 11:17- to say it's fraud,
- 11:19- it it's not really fraud because it's technically
- 11:21- legal. You you always bring up some complicated
- 11:24- issues.
- 11:26- I I I know. And and that's the
- 11:28- whole idea. When Goldman gets complicated, it gets
- 11:30- corrupt because people can't follow all the details.
- 11:33- And that's why we gotta make it simple
- 11:35- again. You know, why things are so expensive
- 11:37- and why it's so difficult to do business
- 11:38- in the state. I just realized three weeks
- 11:41- ago that my book, sixteen seventy six project,
- 11:43- every time I sell a book I have
- 11:45- to charge sales tax on it. So only,
- 11:48- certain books or exempt from this sales tax,
- 11:50- certain textbooks, but not mine.
- 11:53- So I I wanted to pay my sales
- 11:55- tax. So,
- 11:56- I spent the last four days,
- 11:59- trying to contact the state to,
- 12:02- to pay you know, how do I register
- 12:04- and pay the sales tax? They have this
- 12:05- whole website
- 12:06- on how to do business in New Jersey.
- 12:10- And and I was surprised that there was
- 12:11- no special stuff on the website
- 12:14- that would tell someone who's a I'm in
- 12:16- business. I want to know how to pay
- 12:17- my sales tax. You had to go to
- 12:19- one site to another. But what I did
- 12:22- get,
- 12:23- they were steering me into
- 12:25- if you're in small business, how the government
- 12:28- can help you make money.
- 12:30- And so
- 12:31- and and and it gave, detailed of how
- 12:33- I could be certified
- 12:35- for all these categories of businesses. And they
- 12:37- kept telling me that if I get a
- 12:39- certification
- 12:40- for these businesses
- 12:42- then I could get extra government contracts that
- 12:44- I wouldn't get ordinarily.
- 12:46- And it's amazing,
- 12:47- I I think there are nine. They they
- 12:50- give you instructions how to get a small
- 12:52- business enterprise certification,
- 12:54- how to get a socially and economically
- 12:56- disadvantaged business certificate,
- 12:58- how to get an emerging,
- 13:00- small business enterprise certificate,
- 13:02- how to get an urban enterprise zone certificate,
- 13:05- how to get certified as a disabled veteran.
- 13:07- How to get certified as a non disabled
- 13:09- veteran. How to be a certification be a
- 13:13- disadvantaged
- 13:14- business enterprise.
- 13:15- How to get an LGBTQ
- 13:17- plus business certification.
- 13:19- And how to get a minority women owned
- 13:21- business certification.
- 13:22- So in other words instead of just telling
- 13:24- ordinary people
- 13:26- here's how you pay your taxes, here's how
- 13:27- you stay in compliance, they're trying to get
- 13:30- every business
- 13:31- dependent
- 13:32- on government contracts by qualifying for these special
- 13:35- things. And this is why
- 13:37- everything is so expensive. So I I just
- 13:40- got a real education there.
- 13:43- Welcome to the state of New Jersey.
- 13:45- Yeah.
- 13:47- And and and of course, the big story
- 13:49- last week, we we didn't get to talk
- 13:51- to is the state wants to spend
- 13:53- $50,000,000
- 13:54- in the study
- 13:56- to build to improve our convention center which
- 13:59- is almost empty we actually have two empty
- 14:01- convention centers in Atlantic City and they want
- 14:04- to do that because they want to because
- 14:05- they want us, the state wants to spend
- 14:06- $3,000,000,000
- 14:08- to build a new convention center in Rutherford.
- 14:11- And we keep forgetting that if you go
- 14:13- to Orlando in Florida, you go to Texas,
- 14:17- you find out that the government doesn't run
- 14:18- convention centers. You have the Gaylord,
- 14:22- you know, Palms in in Orlando. You have
- 14:24- the Gaylord
- 14:25- Opaland in Nashville
- 14:27- and and the government doesn't pay a dime
- 14:30- to build these first class convention centers. They're
- 14:33- hotels. They're fabulous.
- 14:35- And instead of getting money from the government,
- 14:36- they all pay property taxes.
- 14:38- And so instead of having the government build
- 14:41- private businesses
- 14:43- that could be built privately and men pay
- 14:46- us taxes,
- 14:47- we don't build the stuff we need to
- 14:49- build. We need a jail in Atlanta County.
- 14:51- We need a mental institution in Atlanta County
- 14:54- to get all the criminals and crazy people
- 14:56- off the streets and boardwalk who are chasing
- 14:58- away the tourists. We need a need a
- 15:00- juvenile jail. I mean you wouldn't believe
- 15:03- these dangerous,
- 15:04- 16 and 17 year olds who are threatening
- 15:07- people and causing fights and doing all these
- 15:09- things and chasing tourists away. But we don't
- 15:13- have money to build the public things that
- 15:15- we need
- 15:16- because we're spending too much money on stuff
- 15:18- that the so called economic development that we
- 15:22- we don't need. And I guess the final
- 15:24- point of that is,
- 15:26- Atlantic City just declared the the Claridge Hotel
- 15:29- as a historic landmark.
- 15:31- And this weekend is the anniversary of, you
- 15:34- know, Lucy Elephant being a historic landmark.
- 15:38- The Claridge Hotel was built
- 15:40- in less than a year.
- 15:43- If if they wanted to build a market
- 15:44- elephant today could you imagine how they would
- 15:47- get the permits to do that?
- 15:49- So in other words, these things are only
- 15:50- historic landmarks
- 15:52- because business people can't
- 15:55- possibly build today
- 15:57- what we took for granted you know fifty
- 15:59- a hundred years ago before we had all
- 16:01- these crazy zoning rules. You have poor Eustace
- 16:04- Meeta in Ocean
- 16:07- City. For years, Wonderland Pier has been broke,
- 16:10- and and this guy wants to build a
- 16:12- five story hotel, and he can't build it.
- 16:14- So,
- 16:15- anyway, all this is post at libertyandtrust30.com,
- 16:19- and have a great weekend. You you too,
- 16:21- Seth. Thanks thanks for for your input. Seth
- 16:24- Grossman, Liberty and Prosperity. The website, libertyandprosperity.com.
- 16:28- Check it out. A lot of good stuff
- 16:30- on that. The best of Talk with a
- 16:32- Purpose with John DeMasi.
