- 1:23Speaker 2: Well, yeah, coffee is good this morning, it really is.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Thank you. Gee, you're welcome for the for the coffee.
- 1:30Speaker 3: You're welcome.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I have been licking it off of my leg.
- 1:37Speaker 3: That's because the roads sucked.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Has anyone when was the last time anyone told you
- 1:46Speaker 2: that you really and please don't take offense to this. Yeah,
- 1:49Speaker 2: but you really are a shitty driver. I'm serious.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Do you really think so?
- 1:55Speaker 2: I do?
- 1:56Speaker 1: I mean, well, it's kind of hard to drive when
- 1:59Speaker 1: you got all these legs and minds in the road
- 2:01Speaker 1: that you gotta go around. Oh my god, because I
- 2:03Speaker 1: have no problem driving. It's just you know, you're looking
- 2:07Speaker 1: at the potholes, you forget the lights green, or you're
- 2:09Speaker 1: looking over here and you don't see the car over there.
- 2:12Speaker 3: It's not my fault.
- 2:13Speaker 2: My I have brown pants this morning.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Well you should have won brown pants. You got beije
- 2:21Speaker 1: on so you can see the brown.
- 2:23Speaker 2: It's a little warm in the crotch.
- 2:25Speaker 3: We whatever floats your boat. I got plenty of time
- 2:30Speaker 3: to clean up afterwards.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Listen, yesterday I posted the roads that are on the
- 2:38Speaker 2: schedule to get paved this summer. Right, I put the
- 2:43Speaker 2: post up.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Yep.
- 2:45Speaker 2: The information originated from the city.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Yep.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I put the post up. And have you seen the comments. No,
- 2:56Speaker 2: a lot of comments about well, there's a little bit
- 3:00Speaker 2: of everything in there, but what about this road? What
- 3:02Speaker 2: about that road? What about this? What about that? When's
- 3:05Speaker 2: this one going to be done? And there's a lot
- 3:07Speaker 2: of well.
- 3:08Speaker 1: There should be a lot of bad roads. You know,
- 3:13Speaker 1: my god, get out there and do your damn job. Now,
- 3:17Speaker 1: hang on a second, no, now, nothing. This cold patching,
- 3:20Speaker 1: you know the way I am. This cold patching is
- 3:23Speaker 1: just half assed backwards. You know, they scraped Main Street
- 3:28Speaker 1: and put a light coat over it, but everything else
- 3:31Speaker 1: looks like crap. It's horrible. Don't get me started on
- 3:37Speaker 1: the roads. People don't want to hear about the roads again.
- 3:41Speaker 1: You talk about the roads all the time, can't help it.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Let's talk about my incredible green thumb. I am so
- 3:48Speaker 1: much looking forward to gardening. I'm looking forward to greenery.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to the splendor of the explosion of growth,
- 4:01Speaker 1: not only around my garden but around my patio. I'm
- 4:04Speaker 1: gonna be out there curating all of my plants.
- 4:10Speaker 3: I've seen your curations.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Making sure that everything is well watered.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I've seen your curations. I've got one right here.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Look at Look at this is what you did it did?
- 4:23Speaker 1: You took it roots and all dirt and all everything, roots, dirt, everything,
- 4:29Speaker 1: and you have it dead. It's literally falling apart.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Look, don't kill it.
- 4:36Speaker 1: It's dead. What's wrong with you? This isn't curation. This
- 4:42Speaker 1: is night narration.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Look at the color of that water.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Look at it.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Look what is this?
- 4:48Speaker 2: There's green slime in there. I'll tell you what.
- 4:51Speaker 1: It is because you put the roots in the water too,
- 4:53Speaker 1: So you water logged the roots.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Because there's so much sun coming through this.
- 4:58Speaker 1: There's no sun coming through any Look at it outside.
- 5:01Speaker 1: It's another normal day and it got.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Too much sun.
- 5:04Speaker 3: That's what it is.
- 5:05Speaker 2: The sun was coming through. Yeah, over sunned it, and
- 5:09Speaker 2: and that's what created all the the algae growth.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Yeah, that's not what created it. But let's go with that.
- 5:15Speaker 1: It's an accident, buddy, accident. This is murder. Look murder.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Look and not only that, but the roots had dirt
- 5:26Speaker 1: on them when you put it in there.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Good god man, you just lost another leaf. That's that's ivy.
- 5:33Speaker 2: That's a resilient uh.
- 5:35Speaker 3: And so that.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Shows that shows because I have ivy at home, and
- 5:40Speaker 1: I cut the stems and I put them in water
- 5:42Speaker 1: and they reroot, and then I put them in soil
- 5:46Speaker 1: and give it to friends. But you decided to take
- 5:50Speaker 1: root and all with dirt and just drop it in water.
- 5:56Speaker 1: You should have cut the stems, taken the leaves off
- 5:59Speaker 1: to us certain degree and put him in water.
- 6:01Speaker 2: But no, I put the soil in the water for
- 6:05Speaker 2: exert nutrients.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Listen, I had to take your dead cactus a year ago.
- 6:11Speaker 2: A year ago. You're right.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I had to steal it from you, and I had
- 6:15Speaker 1: to bring it to my house. And now I sent
- 6:17Speaker 1: you the pictures of all the beautiful flowers on them, everything,
- 6:21Speaker 1: and it's healthy as can be, double the size that
- 6:24Speaker 1: you gave me.
- 6:26Speaker 3: And then there's this.
- 6:28Speaker 1: People, you see this, Do not let him touch your
- 6:33Speaker 1: plants because he'll.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Tell you look.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Look, he'll tell you there they're gowa.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Look stop hurting it dead. Good morning, it's Friday. It
- 6:47Speaker 1: is we have another weekend that is right in front
- 6:49Speaker 1: of us. And for the busy folks out there, Carnos
- 6:53Speaker 1: to go is the way to go. New cooler locations
- 6:56Speaker 1: Hill Street Market Central from ut Meats on Preachi Road
- 7:01Speaker 1: in Orange Green Mountain Community Fitness. All these coolers are
- 7:05Speaker 1: stocked up and ready for you with home cooked meals
- 7:08Speaker 1: that are made local with local ingredients from Craig and
- 7:14Speaker 1: Melissa Lecarno and they do a great job.
- 7:15Speaker 2: So it's simple. If you want to grab a pizza,
- 7:18Speaker 2: they've got them all right there, freshly made today. So
- 7:23Speaker 2: and not just pizza too, I mean there's all kinds
- 7:25Speaker 2: of stuff that menu changes all the time. Wonderful people.
- 7:30Speaker 2: We have a lot to get to this morning. We
- 7:32Speaker 2: have a lot to talk about. First date. First of all,
- 7:36Speaker 2: update to and a kudos here to Kevin who won
- 7:42Speaker 2: yesterday the Bikers for Beth Day two bucks cash Raffle
- 7:50Speaker 2: fifty bucks Kevin Saban's and he is donating his winnings back.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I think is just fantastic. So this is going on.
- 8:04Speaker 2: We had Day one the other day, Rose and Eileen
- 8:07Speaker 2: Connor O'Connor, they got it and now Kevin Sabans. So
- 8:12Speaker 2: get on the Bikers for Beth page yep, and have
- 8:16Speaker 2: some fun with this.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Uh.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Plans for the weekend. It's Easter weekend.
- 8:22Speaker 3: It's Easter.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Yeah, what's the Easter go to candy for g is
- 8:29Speaker 2: it peeps?
- 8:30Speaker 1: You know, I'm gonna say, I kind of like peeps there.
- 8:33Speaker 1: They're gross and I'll only eat maybe a half a one. Yeah,
- 8:37Speaker 1: but I mean it's marshmallow. I can't go along with marshmallow.
- 8:41Speaker 2: It's a little much though.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:42Speaker 1: And a lot of people melt them down. Yeah, and
- 8:45Speaker 1: then they put them in molds and things like that
- 8:47Speaker 1: and make stuff.
- 8:48Speaker 2: But which is cool. Just don't melt them in the microwave. No, no, no,
- 8:53Speaker 2: don't put them in the microwave. No, it's it's gonna
- 8:56Speaker 2: be a mess that you'll still be cleaning up in
- 8:59Speaker 2: ten years.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it's better to take the microwave and just throw
- 9:02Speaker 1: it out and get a new one, exactly.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's just.
- 9:05Speaker 2: A fact for me. It's it's uh, if there's chocolate,
- 9:09Speaker 2: gotta combine it with peanut butter. Yeah, I mean, I
- 9:11Speaker 2: can't just take a you know, a chocolate egg and
- 9:13Speaker 2: pop it in the mouth. Now I've got to pop
- 9:15Speaker 2: it in the mouth and then chase it with some
- 9:17Speaker 2: peanut butter.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I love eating, Like make my Ownley's Bar, and you
- 9:22Speaker 1: take off a piece, you put a little peanut butter
- 9:24Speaker 1: on it, and you eat the chocolate with the peanut butter.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Now a lot of people will be like, why don't
- 9:29Speaker 1: you just go buy the chocan peanut butter.
- 9:32Speaker 3: That way it's better. And what's really cool?
- 9:35Speaker 1: I like crunchy peanut butter, so I love putting that
- 9:38Speaker 1: on the chocolate bar because then you get the chocolate,
- 9:40Speaker 1: you get the peanut butter, and you get.
- 9:42Speaker 3: A little crunch.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Yeah, right, adds ready, ready, this is a culinary thing,
- 9:46Speaker 1: adds depth to the flavor.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Yep, you heard it here first.
- 9:52Speaker 1: That was beautiful chocolate peanut butter crunch depth, no flavor.
- 9:56Speaker 3: You know.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I was asking the other day and cut some mixed
- 9:59Speaker 2: reaction on Easter baskets for the kids only or for
- 10:04Speaker 2: for everyone, for adults even too. I mean, is it
- 10:07Speaker 2: is it like inappropriate to say, Hey, you know, I'm
- 10:09Speaker 2: gonna get my wife an Easter basket with the kids too,
- 10:13Speaker 2: But I'm gonna get my husband or my wife one.
- 10:15Speaker 3: I think that's awesome.
- 10:17Speaker 1: And you put a nice little gift in there for them,
- 10:19Speaker 1: whether it be in an egg or whatever, just a
- 10:21Speaker 1: nice little something. Yeah, and then you cover it up
- 10:24Speaker 1: with the grass and the candy and stuff, and you
- 10:26Speaker 1: give it to your spouse.
- 10:28Speaker 3: You're not doing it for anything other than.
- 10:30Speaker 1: It just because gift, all right, basically it's how I
- 10:33Speaker 1: see it. But there's nothing wrong with it. You do you,
- 10:37Speaker 1: This is what I tell people all the time.
- 10:39Speaker 3: You do you.
- 10:40Speaker 1: If you want to give your your loved one or
- 10:43Speaker 1: a boyfriend or girlfriend or somebody a basket, do it. Yeah,
- 10:48Speaker 1: you know, maybe you could put you know, some epsom
- 10:51Speaker 1: saw smell good smelling epsoen saal or bath bomb with
- 10:55Speaker 1: some cuddly socks and throw a blanket into a basket
- 10:59Speaker 1: and give it to you partner or whatever. And this way,
- 11:02Speaker 1: when they open it, they've got a cute little basket.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Because Lord knows, people go to the candle stores and
- 11:08Speaker 1: they buy gift baskets of candles and soaps and stuff
- 11:11Speaker 1: like that.
- 11:12Speaker 3: So make your own for your partner.
- 11:15Speaker 2: We're getting a lot of opinions on this.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I mean, there's nothing wrong. Listen people, if
- 11:21Speaker 1: you want to give a basket, give a basket. If
- 11:23Speaker 1: you say hubbub, you know it's not my thing, then don't.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:27Speaker 1: There are people who grew up Catholic and now don't
- 11:30Speaker 1: celebrate Easter. And there are people who never went to
- 11:33Speaker 1: the Catholic Church, but they celebrate Easter.
- 11:35Speaker 2: So but do we have to do we have to
- 11:37Speaker 2: believe in anything? Do we have to celebrate anything? Can
- 11:40Speaker 2: we just say, hey, it's that time of year. I'm
- 11:42Speaker 2: going to get somebody in an Easter basket.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Well you should be able to do give give gifts
- 11:46Speaker 1: anytime just because you love somebody. But Easter has a meaning.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Okay. It's not just you know, bunnies and chocolate. It
- 11:54Speaker 3: has a meeting. And for those people who genuinely believe.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I say, good for you. Yeah, so I think that's amazing.
- 12:01Speaker 1: And for those of you who don't believe, I say, well,
- 12:04Speaker 1: that's your fault, that's your problem, it's your thing, okay,
- 12:07Speaker 1: because you know, just because you don't believe, doesn't mean
- 12:10Speaker 1: you're not gonna go to heaven if there's a heaven
- 12:12Speaker 1: up there. Sure do you believe in the Easter Bunny?
- 12:15Speaker 1: I don't believe in the Easter Bunny? No, I believe
- 12:19Speaker 1: in Easter.
- 12:20Speaker 2: What about the Tooth Fairy?
- 12:22Speaker 3: No?
- 12:23Speaker 2: No, Santa?
- 12:25Speaker 3: Not really? Okay, not really? Wow. I believe in the Grinch.
- 12:31Speaker 3: The Grinch is my guy.
- 12:32Speaker 2: I know you believe in the Grinch? No, you know,
- 12:35Speaker 2: I'll never forget my dad. Somehow he got like a
- 12:39Speaker 2: this is way back, man, this is like I want
- 12:42Speaker 2: to say, seventy five, Okay, seventy six somewhere in there
- 12:45Speaker 2: got a got like a stamp and made something. I
- 12:50Speaker 2: still don't know what. I don't know if it was clay,
- 12:52Speaker 2: I don't know what it was. But he got it
- 12:54Speaker 2: like a stamp of like a like a paw print
- 12:59Speaker 2: of something. And after I went to bed, after my
- 13:03Speaker 2: brother and I went to bed, he'd go around the
- 13:05Speaker 2: house and he would put the the the pop print.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Like the rabbits jumping around.
- 13:12Speaker 2: And we'd wake up on Easter morning and we'd see
- 13:15Speaker 2: all the bunny prints everywhere all over the house.
- 13:17Speaker 1: That's pretty cool, yeah yeah, and then we'd have to
- 13:20Speaker 1: clean it up. But that's neither here nor that. And
- 13:24Speaker 1: the funny thing is, you have a bunny at your house.
- 13:27Speaker 1: We do so, and his name is Bunny jelly Bean
- 13:32Speaker 1: jelly Bean. And you know, probably you could get away
- 13:36Speaker 1: with leaving eggs and stuff out for Lily because.
- 13:40Speaker 3: You have a bunny.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Yeah, and on on Easter Eve, your bunny stands up
- 13:45Speaker 1: and becomes the Easter Bunny.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Let's go with that.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Are gummies involved with us at all, or for us
- 13:53Speaker 2: to believe yes, cookies, no gummies. Jelly Bean came to
- 13:58Speaker 2: us a couple of I want to say, probably a
- 14:01Speaker 2: good six or seven years ago. Now it's been a while,
- 14:06Speaker 2: right at around Easter time, and he has been a
- 14:10Speaker 2: member of the family. I say, he we're not entirely sure.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Did you ever bring it to the vet?
- 14:20Speaker 2: There's I have an explanation here, uh oh, here we go.
- 14:26Speaker 2: We don't know if he's if he's a he, or
- 14:30Speaker 2: if she's a she, which is very difficult with bunnies.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Bring it to the vet.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Well, uh uh. Jelly Bean for a very short period
- 14:42Speaker 2: of time lived in the house until I had a fit,
- 14:46Speaker 2: total meltdown, gotta go yep. So then he was moved
- 14:53Speaker 2: out to the barn, right and that was going okay
- 14:56Speaker 2: for a little while until he got out. I mean,
- 15:00Speaker 2: they're gonna get out at some point. He's what they do.
- 15:05Speaker 2: And when he got out, we were like, oh, there
- 15:09Speaker 2: he goes gone forever. No, No, he's hanging around the barn.
- 15:14Speaker 2: He goes under the barn. Yep, he's chewed his way
- 15:18Speaker 2: through some insulation yep, and got he's now underneath the
- 15:23Speaker 2: kitchen and nice probably surviving staying warm against some of
- 15:28Speaker 2: the hot water pipes underneath the floor. I don't know, right,
- 15:32Speaker 2: but this is one tough animal.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Man.
- 15:34Speaker 1: It is black, right, black. Yeah, because when we came
- 15:37Speaker 1: over last week, it was just sitting on the step
- 15:40Speaker 1: into the house just hanging out, just hanging out, just chilling.
- 15:43Speaker 1: I mean and I literally just walked past it and
- 15:45Speaker 1: it didn't do.
- 15:46Speaker 2: It that nothing, you know, during the winter. I mean,
- 15:49Speaker 2: he's always got fresh food out there. We've got a
- 15:51Speaker 2: heated water container, and he's he's happy.
- 15:54Speaker 3: I wonder why he doesn't go away. He keeps faving him.
- 15:58Speaker 2: He knows that that's his domain.
- 16:01Speaker 3: That's his home.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, well good for him. Listen, just back to
- 16:06Speaker 2: the just back to the Easter baskets here. Yes, when
- 16:11Speaker 2: I posted a few days ago, what do you think
- 16:14Speaker 2: it was? The Facebook question today? Easter baskets only for
- 16:17Speaker 2: kids or for adults too? It was very much North
- 16:24Speaker 2: Pole or South Pole people were just in the comments
- 16:29Speaker 2: absolutely not for adults or absolutely for everyone. Not a
- 16:36Speaker 2: whole lot of middle ground people are so like I'm
- 16:42Speaker 2: noticing if I drop a question or or if I
- 16:45Speaker 2: talk about something on the air, people seem like, and
- 16:49Speaker 2: I talked about this with Chuck a little bit yesterday,
- 16:51Speaker 2: are running. We're running on short fuses.
- 16:55Speaker 3: And that's the problem.
- 16:56Speaker 1: We've got like opinions about everything I know, and the
- 17:00Speaker 1: opinions are hard.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Now they're hard, they're die hard opinion.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Can we like I'm just asking about the easter baskets?
- 17:08Speaker 3: Yeah, but people have done it. Used to be that
- 17:11Speaker 3: we were softer. We'd be like no, I don't think
- 17:14Speaker 3: or maybe we should.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Now people it's like they have to make a choice
- 17:19Speaker 1: because of what the situation we're in as a country. Yeah,
- 17:23Speaker 1: they're like no or yes, period and your sentence. They're
- 17:27Speaker 1: very globachoppish. We're new, you know, so it's yeah, it's unfortunate.
- 17:33Speaker 1: And I think, you know, based on what you guys
- 17:37Speaker 1: were talking about yesterday. Yeah, I'm finding that in today's society,
- 17:43Speaker 1: people are hearing or watching things and they're taking that
- 17:49Speaker 1: and they're giving too much space in their brain to it,
- 17:53Speaker 1: you know.
- 17:53Speaker 3: And I get it.
- 17:54Speaker 1: You know, everybody's concerned about the economy, they're concerned about guess,
- 17:58Speaker 1: they're concerned about the war, all this stuff.
- 18:00Speaker 2: I get it, big concern I mean, yesterday was unbelievable.
- 18:04Speaker 2: The war just kicked into a whole new gear area.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I ran finally said I'm done and I'm
- 18:09Speaker 1: done playing this game. And they started bombing Israel and
- 18:12Speaker 1: they kill them from a couple of different areas. And
- 18:16Speaker 1: what people are doing that are not involved. You know,
- 18:20Speaker 1: we're hearing Barry Vermont and they're hearing this stuff and
- 18:25Speaker 1: they're putting it in their brain as their topic of life.
- 18:30Speaker 1: And they're they're they're giving this real estate the war,
- 18:35Speaker 1: or this real estate gas prices, or this real estate
- 18:39Speaker 1: Trump or this real estate Trump whatever whatever it is.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Or this real estate easter baskets.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Right, They're giving too much space in their brain for that.
- 18:50Speaker 1: And so when they get upset and sayd oh, Trump's
- 18:52Speaker 1: upsetting me, and this is upsetting me. People, the bottom
- 18:55Speaker 1: line is you're upsetting yourself. You're doing it to yourself
- 18:59Speaker 1: because you're allowing that to take the space in your brain.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Right And you and I have talked about.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Prioritizing things that's in our head and putting things up
- 19:09Speaker 1: on shelves in a little box that you can pull
- 19:12Speaker 1: when you need it, compartment compartmentalizing, But people aren't doing
- 19:16Speaker 1: that right now. They're walking around with angry faces, and
- 19:20Speaker 1: if you ask them, why do you look like, I'm
- 19:22Speaker 1: so sick of the economy, it's caused to mere fortunate.
- 19:24Speaker 3: But you slow down.
- 19:28Speaker 1: You can't fix it by being irate, okay. And you
- 19:33Speaker 1: can't make yourself feel better if you're living in your
- 19:36Speaker 1: mind with doom and gloom. So you have to be
- 19:40Speaker 1: able to say, yes, our president is a complete asshole,
- 19:42Speaker 1: and I have no problem saying that. I'm hoping that
- 19:44Speaker 1: we don't get censored for that. But that's my opinion.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I'm entitled to it, Okay, are you I am?
- 19:51Speaker 3: Okay?
- 19:51Speaker 1: And yes the economy is not great, and yes the
- 19:55Speaker 1: gas prices are going up, and yes we're in another war,
- 19:58Speaker 1: and now you know it's becoming a thing, this war,
- 20:04Speaker 1: and they're making it all their whole life.
- 20:07Speaker 4: That was for the last three weeks.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know what, it didn't. So let's take
- 20:12Speaker 1: that and put it in its place and still enjoy
- 20:14Speaker 1: the beauty of life, because there's so much more to
- 20:17Speaker 1: enjoy than just doom and gloom. Doom and gloom is
- 20:21Speaker 1: for informational purposes. They tell you things, whether you believe
- 20:24Speaker 1: it or not, whether it's true, or not because you
- 20:27Speaker 1: don't know which news source is saying what it's true
- 20:30Speaker 1: or not true. Okay, but you're taking let's say, a
- 20:34Speaker 1: not truthful news source, and you're putting that in your
- 20:37Speaker 1: brain and controlling your whole life with that, And that's
- 20:41Speaker 1: not what it's about.
- 20:43Speaker 3: You know.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Life is about having a good time, enjoying your family,
- 20:46Speaker 1: enjoying your friends, enjoying your own life, taking in the scenery, traveling,
- 20:51Speaker 1: you know, creating, redo your kitchen, whatever the case may be.
- 20:56Speaker 3: That's what life is. And everybody's more focused, you know.
- 21:02Speaker 1: I get up every morning and I'm usually up a
- 21:04Speaker 1: little bit later than my brother, and he's up early
- 21:06Speaker 1: in the morning and he watches the news and stuff.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I come up and I say, what did Trump do?
- 21:10Speaker 3: Now?
- 21:12Speaker 1: He tells me what's going on. I watched some of
- 21:14Speaker 1: the news, and then I'm like, okay, done, let's move on.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I don't give it that real estate that people are
- 21:20Speaker 1: giving it. And they all that real estate they're putting
- 21:24Speaker 1: in their mind. Now they're going out and they're running
- 21:26Speaker 1: into somebody else who has real estate in their mind
- 21:28Speaker 1: on the opposite side of the fence. And now you
- 21:31Speaker 1: have fighting and violence. Yeah, okay, and you're fighting for something.
- 21:36Speaker 1: You're literally getting into fights and ending friendships and everything
- 21:40Speaker 1: else because of what's going on around you. But you
- 21:44Speaker 1: had that friend before that was going on. Hold on
- 21:48Speaker 1: to their friendship and don't give the negative so much
- 21:51Speaker 1: real estate in your brain. And I think Paul would
- 21:54Speaker 1: agree with me. If Paul was listening, I think he'd
- 21:57Speaker 1: agree that. You know what, g You're absolutely right. If
- 22:00Speaker 1: you're getting upset, you're doing it to yourself. They're not
- 22:03Speaker 1: doing it. You're choosing to do it. So instead, choose
- 22:07Speaker 1: not to get upset.
- 22:08Speaker 2: I think I think a lot of us we get
- 22:12Speaker 2: so caught up. We absorb so.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Much because it's the only thing on the news.
- 22:17Speaker 2: There's so much doom scrolling that's going on.
- 22:20Speaker 1: There's so much of it that you forget to scroll
- 22:23Speaker 1: for the good things.
- 22:25Speaker 3: You know.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I send things to my best friend and it has
- 22:28Speaker 1: nothing to do with the war, nothing to.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Do with politics.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I just send things letting them know, Hey, you're special today,
- 22:35Speaker 1: Hey I like you again today, things like that, because
- 22:40Speaker 1: that's the good stuff.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Glenn saying, when Walter Cronkite retired, that's when the news
- 22:45Speaker 2: reporting stopped.
- 22:46Speaker 1: One hundred percent Walter Cronkite was direct, straight and that's
- 22:54Speaker 1: the news, and that's the news, okay, Dan, rather than
- 22:57Speaker 1: great for a long time, and then he started getting
- 23:00Speaker 1: and then he started changing. I remember, started becoming opinionated. Honestly,
- 23:05Speaker 1: I don't think news anchors.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Have an opinion. They shouldn't be entitled to opinions on
- 23:10Speaker 3: the air.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Crystal says, sometimes JD people are unhappy with themselves, so
- 23:16Speaker 2: they want to make you feel unhappy.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, misery loves company big time. And you know what,
- 23:23Speaker 1: when it comes to the war and all that stuff,
- 23:25Speaker 1: when there's protest, peaceful protests and you want to get
- 23:28Speaker 1: involved with it to feel like you've done something. Nothing
- 23:31Speaker 1: wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with peaceful protesting. I'm
- 23:35Speaker 1: not a peaceful protester because I don't I don't really
- 23:40Speaker 1: need to go out there and scream all the time.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Will it make a real difference.
- 23:47Speaker 1: It could in the capacity that they're doing it now
- 23:50Speaker 1: with the no Kings, because now even Rome had a
- 23:54Speaker 1: ton of people that were protesting no Kings. Okay, so
- 23:57Speaker 1: it's it's global that people are saying no, and all
- 24:03Speaker 1: it's doing is irritating. This is what I see it's
- 24:05Speaker 1: irritating our president to the point that he's so preoccupied
- 24:11Speaker 1: with it that he's making mistakes on his own. Okay,
- 24:14Speaker 1: he's showing his own colors more true than before. So
- 24:18Speaker 1: is it doing anything I'm hoping it does.
- 24:21Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Is the President going to wake up right afterwards and say, hey,
- 24:26Speaker 1: you know what, I saw that protest all over the world,
- 24:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna change.
- 24:29Speaker 3: I don't think that's going to happen.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I don't know that if if I were participating in
- 24:35Speaker 2: one of these No Kings rallies, which I personally this is,
- 24:41Speaker 2: hang on, Am I entitled to an opinion?
- 24:44Speaker 3: You are entitled to an opinion.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I personally think that it's just a giant waste of time.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Well, and that's your opinion.
- 24:51Speaker 2: And for me to participate in some kind of parade
- 24:56Speaker 2: for No Kings in New York City down on all
- 24:59Speaker 2: four right, you see these people, Yep, they got their hands,
- 25:05Speaker 2: the bare hands throw on the streets of New York City.
- 25:08Speaker 3: That's how passionate they are. Crawling.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'm saying, and you know what it Maybe
- 25:16Speaker 2: we should be passionate about things that are really right
- 25:22Speaker 2: in the front of our lives. Like our kids know.
- 25:25Speaker 1: It's when you feel helpless and you feel like you
- 25:29Speaker 1: can't do anything about what's going on in your life.
- 25:33Speaker 3: And I'm talking you know, between.
- 25:36Speaker 1: The war, the funding, the the the gas prices, the
- 25:39Speaker 1: oil prices, or the food price, and you feel when
- 25:43Speaker 1: you feel helpless that you can't control any of this
- 25:46Speaker 1: stuff in your life.
- 25:47Speaker 3: And we all like to be in control of our life.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Yeah, our life, not control of other people. But when
- 25:53Speaker 1: you feel helpless, doing something like a rally, a peaceful
- 25:57Speaker 1: rally or something gives you that inner feeling that you
- 26:01Speaker 1: know what. It may not do a difference, but at
- 26:03Speaker 1: least I got out there and I got it off
- 26:06Speaker 1: my chest.
- 26:07Speaker 3: I was able to do it.
- 26:08Speaker 1: And for some people that's cathotic so they can move
- 26:11Speaker 1: on with their day.
- 26:13Speaker 2: I'll give you that, okay.
- 26:14Speaker 1: So I don't down protesters, I don't up protesters. I
- 26:19Speaker 1: just think it should stay peaceful. If you've got something
- 26:22Speaker 1: to say, other people shouldn't get hurt because you have
- 26:25Speaker 1: something to say. Yeah, yeah, do it the right way,
- 26:27Speaker 1: that's all.
- 26:27Speaker 2: I do it the right way.
- 26:28Speaker 1: And then when you're done doing and slip cars and
- 26:31Speaker 1: spray paints right exactly, and when you're done doing the protest,
- 26:35Speaker 1: put it on a shelf, compartmentalize it up there, and
- 26:39Speaker 1: move on with your day because you have so many
- 26:41Speaker 1: more great things you could be doing that are right
- 26:43Speaker 1: in front of you.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Right and one, it's not just great things, it's more
- 26:46Speaker 2: important things that that are that are that should be
- 26:49Speaker 2: very high on your priority list, like your kids. Yeah,
- 26:52Speaker 2: your husband, your wife absolutely, frankly, your long yeah.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm just saying no, yeah, yeah, no, the
- 27:02Speaker 1: lawn is important.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Megan just said that she just passed the street sweeper.
- 27:11Speaker 2: I want to talk about that. Yes, did you see
- 27:15Speaker 2: the post from this Roger Boyce guy who was shaming
- 27:21Speaker 2: me hard for just reporting oh yeah, yeah, yeah, that
- 27:26Speaker 2: there was going to be an emergency parking pan Yeah,
- 27:29Speaker 2: without giving the reason for why, which came in in
- 27:34Speaker 2: an email that I admitted that I just copied and
- 27:38Speaker 2: pasted and chuck it. He hacked me on that he
- 27:41Speaker 2: was way out of control. Well that's what we're tom
- 27:45Speaker 2: talking about. We're so reactive.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Yeah he was, but he was.
- 27:48Speaker 2: People are just wired for like.
- 27:50Speaker 1: But he wasn't he You know, if you're going to
- 27:53Speaker 1: make us a comment or a statement online or on
- 27:56Speaker 1: the air, or whatever. Just remember that if you're not appropriate,
- 28:04Speaker 1: you're not really solving the problem. And he was in
- 28:08Speaker 1: no way positive or anything. He was just insulting. Dink, Yeah, insulting.
- 28:15Speaker 1: And you know what, you don't want.
- 28:17Speaker 3: To watch the show.
- 28:18Speaker 1: We've said this a million times. If you don't like
- 28:20Speaker 1: what you hear, shut it off. Okay, don't sit there
- 28:23Speaker 1: and bitch, but if it's not your thing, just.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Shut it off.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Instead, people watch the whole thing and then they post
- 28:30Speaker 1: negative things. Okay, you didn't like what was said, or
- 28:32Speaker 1: you don't understand why JD explained it.
- 28:36Speaker 2: I did.
- 28:36Speaker 1: The bottom line is this, I got this, and I
- 28:38Speaker 1: wanted to put this out for people.
- 28:40Speaker 3: As I get more information, I will let you know.
- 28:43Speaker 1: But this person decided to make this the real estate
- 28:46Speaker 1: and his brain for the day and unleash whatever anger
- 28:51Speaker 1: he had on so many other things directed right at you.
- 28:54Speaker 1: And I say, you know what, good for him? Good
- 28:57Speaker 1: did he had a place to vent. We take it
- 29:00Speaker 1: with a grain of salt, because we know, right this
- 29:04Speaker 1: is just somebody venting, right, Okay, pissed.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Off about something else in there.
- 29:08Speaker 3: If you want to.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Call me names, if that gets you off, yeah, if
- 29:12Speaker 1: that makes you feel better to call me a name.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Have at it, Yeah, because you know the old sticks
- 29:18Speaker 1: and stone thing. Names don't bother me.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Chuck was had a great point. He's like, look, man,
- 29:23Speaker 2: as long as you're sitting in that seat, you're going
- 29:27Speaker 2: to take fire.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:29Speaker 2: And it's it's it's it's nothing that you need to
- 29:32Speaker 2: take personally. You just have to understand that people are
- 29:35Speaker 2: just there's there's just a lot of wired brain wiring
- 29:40Speaker 2: for negativity right now.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Everybody is wired for that. Everybody is defensive right now.
- 29:46Speaker 1: And the people that are.
- 29:47Speaker 4: I can't believe that. Get that.
- 29:50Speaker 1: And the people that are offensive are being offensive. Yeah,
- 29:55Speaker 1: you know, we're defensive or your defensive, whatever the case.
- 29:59Speaker 1: But the people that are on the offense are being offensive.
- 30:03Speaker 2: I would love, which is a shame. I would love
- 30:08Speaker 2: for this guy, Roger Boyce to come in here and
- 30:10Speaker 2: sit on that couch and say what he said into
- 30:14Speaker 2: that microphone right to my face and to all of
- 30:20Speaker 2: the viewers.
- 30:20Speaker 1: And see, that's the funny thing, because every everybody hides
- 30:25Speaker 1: behind social media the keyboard.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Everybody.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Okay, I'm watching a show that was back in the seventies. Okay,
- 30:32Speaker 1: and I'm watching this show and it's so funny because
- 30:36Speaker 1: they're everything they do or whatever. Yeah, there's no computers
- 30:41Speaker 1: or anything involved back right. Sure, so people didn't get
- 30:45Speaker 1: the word out of their anger. Yeah, you know what
- 30:48Speaker 1: I'm saying. They weren't able to just put there. But
- 30:51Speaker 1: ever since social media they always say why now. I
- 30:55Speaker 1: heard somebody say the other day, why now is the
- 30:57Speaker 1: whole world trans and gay? This was never a problem before,
- 31:01Speaker 1: and now you know, you got to respect the gays,
- 31:03Speaker 1: you got to respect the trans these people.
- 31:05Speaker 3: There wasn't that trans in the old days, Yes, there was.
- 31:10Speaker 1: There was no social media to put your outrages out there,
- 31:13Speaker 1: to turn it into such a thing, because now it's
- 31:16Speaker 1: a thing.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Well, should they play in sports? Shouldn't they play in sports?
- 31:20Speaker 3: Should they? This?
- 31:21Speaker 1: Is it right for them to have their bodies affected
- 31:24Speaker 1: before they're eighteen or But this is all social media
- 31:27Speaker 1: hyped it all up because going on for years.
- 31:31Speaker 2: But this is one example of many, yes, many many things.
- 31:35Speaker 1: All these things have been going on. Culture has changed, yes,
- 31:39Speaker 1: but now everybody airs it out. They aired out what
- 31:41Speaker 1: they ate last night, they aired out the fight they
- 31:44Speaker 1: had with their fous I know. But what I'm saying
- 31:49Speaker 1: is people are just putting everything at personal business out there.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I love what Chuck did when he put this whole
- 31:57Speaker 1: thing about him looking at the game community and is.
- 32:02Speaker 3: He by and all this.
- 32:03Speaker 1: I love that at the end he said and if
- 32:05Speaker 1: you believe me, I'll sell you a bridge and such as,
- 32:09Speaker 1: because that's what people want to read. I'm sure when
- 32:13Speaker 1: people started reading his post, they were probably like, oh, really,
- 32:17Speaker 1: ye gossip. At the end, he basically said, you're an
- 32:21Speaker 1: idiot because you believed it. Sure, okay, And that's how
- 32:24Speaker 1: easy it is to convince people these days. If you
- 32:27Speaker 1: put it on social media and you do it in
- 32:30Speaker 1: a way that sounds professional, everybody's gonna believe you. Meanwhile,
- 32:34Speaker 1: you're not a source. You don't have concrete proof.
- 32:38Speaker 3: You don't have.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Anything that you saw, heard or looked at that makes
- 32:41Speaker 1: any proof to you. And if you watch Fox News,
- 32:44Speaker 1: you definitely don't have any source or proof. And yet
- 32:48Speaker 1: people read it and they're like, did you hear Billy
- 32:51Speaker 1: Bob is getting a divorce from his wife? I could
- 32:54Speaker 1: post tomorrow I'm so done with this relationship thing. I'm
- 32:57Speaker 1: out and I will get a one hundred messages what happened?
- 33:02Speaker 3: Are you guys really breaking up and because they have
- 33:04Speaker 3: to know. They're all in your business.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Okay, divorces, break up, homosexuality, all this stuff existed for years.
- 33:13Speaker 3: People.
- 33:14Speaker 2: We talked about this a couple of months ago. You
- 33:16Speaker 2: and I right here on the air, and I told
- 33:18Speaker 2: you I sat on the air, and I'll say it again.
- 33:21Speaker 2: The absolute shit could hit the fan at my house, yep,
- 33:28Speaker 2: but I wouldn't post it on social media if.
- 33:33Speaker 3: It's nobody's business.
- 33:34Speaker 2: If like when I say the ship hitting the fan,
- 33:37Speaker 2: I could. I could mean anything, right, like you know,
- 33:41Speaker 2: one of us is sick, or there's been an accident,
- 33:44Speaker 2: or you know, yep, we're breaking up, or yep I
- 33:49Speaker 2: wake up one one day and announced that that I'm gay,
- 33:53Speaker 2: whatever it is, right, that is so personal and private.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Yep.
- 33:58Speaker 2: That's about me and Marilyn and Lily.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:02Speaker 2: And I don't need to like my husband cheated on me. Yeah,
- 34:07Speaker 2: blown that all over social media. You remember what I
- 34:10Speaker 2: said about that. God people want to be validated. Ah Okay,
- 34:16Speaker 2: And I got yelled at once for saying that from
- 34:18Speaker 2: a couple of your listeners that, well, gee, it's not
- 34:20Speaker 2: only validated they Yeah, no, when you're posting bad news
- 34:25Speaker 2: reaching out for people to.
- 34:26Speaker 3: Tell you you're right. That's that's looking for validation. Okay.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Agree.
- 34:33Speaker 1: If I see something posted about Donald Trump that's true,
- 34:37Speaker 1: I repost it because of the fact that, well I
- 34:40Speaker 1: didn't say it, but I agree with it, and so
- 34:42Speaker 1: I send it out there. Now you can like it
- 34:45Speaker 1: or dislike it. That's up to you. Yeah, okay. But
- 34:48Speaker 1: the way I deal with the stupidity in the world
- 34:50Speaker 1: right now is if somebody says something that I believe
- 34:53Speaker 1: I don't, I don't reinterpret it.
- 34:56Speaker 3: I don't give my spin to it. I just like
- 34:59Speaker 3: it and forward it on my page. That's it. But
- 35:02Speaker 3: if I want to post something of value, like.
- 35:04Speaker 1: A recipe that I made that's really good that I
- 35:07Speaker 1: want people to try because it's healthy and delicious, that
- 35:10Speaker 1: I don't mind posting, yep. Okay, But I'm not going
- 35:13Speaker 1: to post a fight that my husband and I had
- 35:16Speaker 1: six years ago just so that people can say, you know, gee,
- 35:19Speaker 1: I'm so sorry you're going through that. Oh well, gee,
- 35:22Speaker 1: maybe if you talk to him and this and that,
- 35:24Speaker 1: and they give the stupidest advice, because people's advice are
- 35:28Speaker 1: so bag.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Have you tried talking to him?
- 35:31Speaker 1: No, I just decided to walk out because I felt
- 35:34Speaker 1: like it, you know, or you know this counseling out there,
- 35:37Speaker 1: we know that's so why are you telling people this
- 35:40Speaker 1: shit so that we can what give you advice or
- 35:45Speaker 1: tell you how much we love you and stuff? Guess
- 35:47Speaker 1: what you can say? I baked the cake that everyone
- 35:49Speaker 1: in the house loved. It was delicious. If anybody wants
- 35:53Speaker 1: a recipe, hit me up. That's good stuff.
- 35:56Speaker 4: So post nice styles pineapple.
- 35:58Speaker 1: It was so wait, I don't here's the best When
- 36:02Speaker 1: I say to somebody I love chocolate and they go, now, no,
- 36:07Speaker 1: that's not now, I can't.
- 36:08Speaker 3: I don't have a sweet tooth for that now.
- 36:11Speaker 1: And I'm like, but I do, and that's fine, but
- 36:13Speaker 1: I don't and I don't like that, and they go
- 36:15Speaker 1: into all the negative shit.
- 36:18Speaker 3: So if you know people are going negative, why say
- 36:20Speaker 3: anything at all? Here? It is?
- 36:24Speaker 2: Wow, are you on the soapbox?
- 36:26Speaker 1: Well, because because I'm disappointed. I'm disappointed in in society
- 36:33Speaker 1: right now because everybody is taking the negative road, and
- 36:36Speaker 1: they're taking it because they're they're leaders, are taking negative roads. Okay,
- 36:42Speaker 1: so we're taking negative role and and everybody's become confrontational
- 36:46Speaker 1: and upset. People get into fistfights over the stupid arguments
- 36:51Speaker 1: because they're so angry in life right now that they
- 36:55Speaker 1: that they gotta take it out on each other.
- 36:58Speaker 3: And it's not that angry in life.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Write a letter to your congressman or to the president himself. Yeah, okay,
- 37:05Speaker 1: I wrote a letter to the president and I mailed it.
- 37:07Speaker 1: I hope to god someday he gets in the police
- 37:10Speaker 1: come to arrest.
- 37:10Speaker 4: Me, because all I did was tell him the truth.
- 37:13Speaker 1: So here of how it affects me, not the world,
- 37:17Speaker 1: me the person, and what I think of him, and
- 37:20Speaker 1: his ignorance and his lack of intelligence and his lack
- 37:24Speaker 1: of reasoning and lack of being humane.
- 37:27Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, my god, I don't.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Care about any If you're the president, you should be
- 37:32Speaker 1: very humane. You should be worrying about your people, not
- 37:36Speaker 1: worrying about starting wars everywhere else and raising prices and
- 37:39Speaker 1: all that and then lying to everybody. And that's what
- 37:43Speaker 1: upsets people right now. Everybody's stuck on that.
- 37:46Speaker 3: What I'm in a bad mood.
- 37:48Speaker 2: What I've decided to do is I'm slowly working my
- 37:54Speaker 2: way through my friends list, and I'm just having a
- 38:00Speaker 2: look at like if I'm seeing something that's that folks
- 38:05Speaker 2: that are consistently posting something that's that's negative. I'm you know,
- 38:13Speaker 2: And ironically, one of my Facebook friends, who I barely know,
- 38:20Speaker 2: I had asked myself, I'm like, you hardly know her.
- 38:23Speaker 2: She has the words on her profile. Do you add
- 38:29Speaker 2: to the quality of my life or do you take
- 38:33Speaker 2: from it?
- 38:33Speaker 3: Yep?
- 38:34Speaker 2: And this person is consistently negative, sarcastic, right, angry all
- 38:43Speaker 2: the time. And I'm just like, I'm just I'm just
- 38:46Speaker 2: trimming the fat here, and.
- 38:47Speaker 1: You're asking yourself, well, is that quality of life that
- 38:51Speaker 1: she's talking about for her, if she's always negative, is.
- 38:54Speaker 3: That something I want in my life?
- 38:56Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 38:56Speaker 1: Because I've gone through my Facebook friends and I have
- 38:59Speaker 1: the a lot of them.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Okay, not because I don't believe in what they say,
- 39:05Speaker 1: or I don't because I don't.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Even know you.
- 39:07Speaker 1: You you friended me because you saw me someplace once.
- 39:12Speaker 3: It's like this.
- 39:13Speaker 2: It's like this guy that I'm driving down the road,
- 39:18Speaker 2: and I explained all this. The other day, I get
- 39:21Speaker 2: an email from the City of Barry Yeah, saying there's
- 39:25Speaker 2: an emergency parking band you're stuck.
- 39:27Speaker 3: On that I am, you're giving too much real estate
- 39:30Speaker 3: to it.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Dude, but there was no explanation as to why, so
- 39:36Speaker 2: I just put that on Facebook.
- 39:37Speaker 1: I know, but you keep reiterating that and people are like,
- 39:40Speaker 1: we know, j D. We know, but people are so
- 39:42Speaker 1: freaking wired that way. You get to get a fucking life. No, Yeah,
- 39:49Speaker 1: and you need to not take everything so hard. Okay,
- 39:54Speaker 1: you gotta. You gotta slow down and prioritize what's important
- 39:59Speaker 1: to you.
- 39:59Speaker 3: What's important to.
- 40:00Speaker 1: You as your family, Yeah, okay, Cherylynne, Lily, your home,
- 40:06Speaker 1: the close people that you know you can trust with
- 40:09Speaker 1: your life.
- 40:10Speaker 3: That's all that's important. Everything else.
- 40:13Speaker 1: You got to get a second job to be able
- 40:15Speaker 1: to pay for gas, then go get a second job
- 40:17Speaker 1: right now. And you can be angry about it, but
- 40:20Speaker 1: don't make that your life.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:23Speaker 3: I had to get a second job just to be
- 40:25Speaker 3: able to buy groceries. That sucks. We hear you, We
- 40:29Speaker 3: heard you.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Now put it away and keep going, keep going, because
- 40:35Speaker 1: I've learned that because for a long time, when I
- 40:37Speaker 1: was younger, I held everything in everything. Now guess what,
- 40:42Speaker 1: It's all still in there, but now it's in places
- 40:45Speaker 1: that I can draw on it when I need it,
- 40:49Speaker 1: and sometimes I go through it myself.
- 40:51Speaker 3: I'll be sitting there quietly and gedtill say, what are
- 40:53Speaker 3: you doing? What's the matter? You look like you're thinking.
- 40:56Speaker 1: I am because I'm thinking about you know what, I
- 40:59Speaker 1: said this and this person reacted this way, and that
- 41:01Speaker 1: really upset me. I'm going to pull that box down.
- 41:04Speaker 1: I'm going to dissect it and then I'm going to
- 41:05Speaker 1: throw it away. Yeah, because it's up there, I just
- 41:09Speaker 1: need to look at it, face it, dump it.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Yesterday I asked Chuck about his feelings about Chipotle and
- 41:17Speaker 2: Starbucks yes coming into Berlin, right up next to the
- 41:21Speaker 2: Fox Around apartments next to the Berlin Mall, and well,
- 41:26Speaker 2: he gave his opinion on the air yesterday, which was
- 41:31Speaker 2: expected and kind of strong, and then I decided to
- 41:34Speaker 2: post that as.
- 41:36Speaker 3: The crystal You're still on my friends list.
- 41:38Speaker 2: I put that on the Facebook question of the Day yesterday,
- 41:41Speaker 2: and if you go through and you read those comments,
- 41:45Speaker 2: they're either.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Like super pro or super super against. Yes, there's no
- 41:52Speaker 1: middle ground, I know, and that's you know. I when
- 41:56Speaker 1: I found out what was coming up there, I was
- 41:59Speaker 1: I was black or white also until I thought about it.
- 42:03Speaker 3: And that's what I'm saying.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Sometimes you have to take something and put it on
- 42:06Speaker 1: a shelf until you're ready to think about it.
- 42:08Speaker 3: And I thought about.
- 42:09Speaker 1: It because I was like Chipotle, Okay, I don't necessarily
- 42:12Speaker 1: love nor hate Chipotle in any way. Jed, my neighbor Tracy,
- 42:17Speaker 1: they were all like, oh my god, I love that place.
- 42:19Speaker 1: You can go get a quick meal, inexpensive, you can
- 42:22Speaker 1: eat it there or you can take it out.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Yes.
- 42:24Speaker 3: Great, And I agree because I had.
- 42:26Speaker 1: Chipotle with Jed when we were down in Philadelphia and
- 42:29Speaker 1: it was nice. It wasn't, you know, great Mexican food
- 42:31Speaker 1: or whatever, but it was good.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:33Speaker 3: Okay, And you can choose.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Healthy or unhealthy foods there, whatever, your choice, because it's
- 42:37Speaker 1: your body, your choice.
- 42:39Speaker 3: Okay.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Starbucks, I'm not a huge fan of Okay. I like
- 42:45Speaker 1: Starbucks as far as you can get these neat flavored
- 42:48Speaker 1: drinks and stuff like that. I don't like the calories
- 42:51Speaker 1: that comes with Starbucks.
- 42:53Speaker 2: Y yeah, okay, but.
- 42:54Speaker 1: We have one in Price Chopper, and now they're putting
- 42:57Speaker 1: one at the top of the hill too. If they're
- 42:59Speaker 1: taking the one out a Price shop are great, Yeah,
- 43:02Speaker 1: that's fine.
- 43:03Speaker 3: But do we need another Starbucks?
- 43:07Speaker 1: I'm not sure we do because we have one unless
- 43:09Speaker 1: that one's you could say the same thing.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Do we need another dunkin Donuts? Do we need another
- 43:14Speaker 2: tire store?
- 43:15Speaker 3: Right? What bank?
- 43:18Speaker 1: What do we count four tire stores as we're driving
- 43:21Speaker 1: down to Montpellier within four miles?
- 43:25Speaker 3: Within four miles? Do we need another bank? Do we need?
- 43:28Speaker 1: But you know what, those again are questions that we
- 43:30Speaker 1: can ask, but let's not consume our head about it.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know, and that's what people are doing.
- 43:36Speaker 2: And a lot of people were basically kind of saying,
- 43:40Speaker 2: you know, I'm not, you know, excited about it, but
- 43:46Speaker 2: it's not bad news. At least, at least it's development.
- 43:50Speaker 2: At least, it's progress. At least it's it's.
- 43:55Speaker 3: So hard to develop. And Barry, I wonder why.
- 43:58Speaker 2: At least it's than than nothing there at all.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I wonder why.
- 44:04Speaker 1: And I know Glenn's answer because Glenn has said it
- 44:07Speaker 1: many times. But I wonder why people aren't setting up
- 44:09Speaker 1: their businesses on main Street. And Barry, I wonder why
- 44:14Speaker 1: because there's plenty of room, plenty of space.
- 44:20Speaker 2: And I will ask what's happening. I reached out to
- 44:26Speaker 2: the to Bury Area Development yesterday, Yeah, inviting them on
- 44:31Speaker 2: the air. I hope Josh comes in here. I'm going
- 44:33Speaker 2: to ask what's coming. What's this the status on the
- 44:39Speaker 2: Soups and Greens building?
- 44:40Speaker 1: Right, yeah, what is the status the plan? What is
- 44:45Speaker 1: the plan that's for the Salvation Army building? Yes, that's
- 44:49Speaker 1: the thing. What's the plan? What's the discussion? Because still
- 44:53Speaker 1: the people should be entitled to some information. But right now,
- 44:57Speaker 1: the bottom line is this too goddamn expense of tax
- 45:00Speaker 1: wise to be able to do that here and Barry Yeah, okay,
- 45:05Speaker 1: it's too expensive to do anything in Vermont.
- 45:09Speaker 4: Wow.
- 45:09Speaker 1: And then they say, well you have to understand you
- 45:11Speaker 1: have No, you don't have to understand. The taxes and
- 45:14Speaker 1: living expenses in Vermont is the highest per capita. Yeah, okay,
- 45:19Speaker 1: that's ridiculous. Yeah right, Oh but it's beautiful there. Really,
- 45:24Speaker 1: if I want scenery at my house, if I want
- 45:27Speaker 1: to get a house that has scenery of the mountains.
- 45:29Speaker 3: I have to pay higher taxes.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Yeah, scenery tax Yeah yeah, I know, you know, come on, people,
- 45:36Speaker 1: so but these things we know, we think about.
- 45:40Speaker 3: It's in our heads.
- 45:41Speaker 2: But if we.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Wanted to spend all day angry at it, then we're
- 45:45Speaker 1: just doing ourselves an injustice. We have to be able
- 45:49Speaker 1: to form an opinion independently and then put it away
- 45:52Speaker 1: so you can continue living your life. When we air
- 45:55Speaker 1: out some of this stuff about taxes or the roads
- 45:58Speaker 1: or the presidents or whatever, we're doing it for an hour,
- 46:02Speaker 1: so it's like, all right, gee, you're saying put it
- 46:04Speaker 1: in its place where you're talking about it, right, because.
- 46:07Speaker 3: It's part of the show.
- 46:08Speaker 1: But when the show's over, we get in the car,
- 46:11Speaker 1: you and I and go back to my house, and
- 46:12Speaker 1: the whole way there we're laughing about other things.
- 46:14Speaker 3: Sure, because it's done, it's been said.
- 46:17Speaker 1: People can now form their own opinions on what's coming out.
- 46:21Speaker 3: Of my mouth or your mouth. And some people will
- 46:23Speaker 3: like it.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Some people will say, oh gee, you're this way, oh
- 46:26Speaker 1: j D or that way.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Great. That's why it sayed out.
- 46:29Speaker 1: And we get in front of the microphone and the camera,
- 46:32Speaker 1: knowing that you're gonna have comments to us, knowing that
- 46:35Speaker 1: you're gonna tell us we're wrong, knowing that you're gonna
- 46:38Speaker 1: call us names.
- 46:40Speaker 3: We know it.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Yeah, But when we're done, we move on. Are you
- 46:44Speaker 1: moving on or you spending the whole day saying I
- 46:47Speaker 1: can't believe g was talking about that? Makes me so man?
- 46:50Speaker 1: Now I'm in a bad mood.
- 46:52Speaker 3: Well, that's your fault.
- 46:53Speaker 1: I didn't make you in a bad mood. You made
- 46:54Speaker 1: yourself in a bad mood. Yeah, so put it away
- 46:57Speaker 1: and enjoy your life. That's the way I see it.
- 47:00Speaker 3: You know.
- 47:01Speaker 2: It's like.
- 47:04Speaker 1: Even the whole Kid Rock helicopter things. Oh my god,
- 47:07Speaker 1: people are so pissed off abuff that.
- 47:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:10Speaker 2: Yeah, good for kid Rock.
- 47:12Speaker 3: Horrible for Kid Rock.
- 47:13Speaker 2: He should go to jail. What's going on here with
- 47:15Speaker 2: the military?
- 47:16Speaker 1: What?
- 47:17Speaker 4: Wow?
- 47:18Speaker 2: Wow?
- 47:19Speaker 1: Well, like like Chuck said yesterday, too many opinions, and
- 47:23Speaker 1: opinions are like asked. We all have them, and I
- 47:26Speaker 1: believe Glenn finished it saying and they all stink. Yeah, okay,
- 47:31Speaker 1: because people, there's so much more exciting stuff to talk about.
- 47:35Speaker 1: Easter is coming, the kids are getting excited about hunting
- 47:39Speaker 1: for Easter eggs as places around here. Washington County Mental
- 47:42Speaker 1: Health did a whole Easter hunt thing for the clients
- 47:47Speaker 1: and for the clients' families and stuff like that. There's
- 47:50Speaker 1: so many good things going on. Yeah, there is that
- 47:53Speaker 1: when you pull up to the gas pump and you
- 47:54Speaker 1: see that the price is four dollars and something, Yeah,
- 47:57Speaker 1: get a little annoyed because that's costing you money, it's
- 48:00Speaker 1: costing your food money, it's costing.
- 48:02Speaker 3: You oil money and all that. I get it. You
- 48:04Speaker 3: can get annoyed and not spend the whole day annoyed.
- 48:07Speaker 2: Yeah, people are unhappy for a number of different reasons.
- 48:12Speaker 2: We all have very unique experiences in our lives. Yes,
- 48:17Speaker 2: there's always something going on, and whether there is something negative,
- 48:21Speaker 2: whether it's it's a problem with our relationship, our boss
- 48:24Speaker 2: is something. And there's plenty of good stuff too. But
- 48:27Speaker 2: the folks that, like yesterday I had one, but it's like,
- 48:32Speaker 2: just remember that, Like Crystal said, you got to get
- 48:37Speaker 2: over it. You got to just take a deep breath
- 48:39Speaker 2: and move on. And if if some of us need
- 48:42Speaker 2: some help doing that, and if you do need help
- 48:44Speaker 2: doing that, you just mentioned Washington County Mental Health.
- 48:48Speaker 1: Well also if you go to listen, Washington Kent County
- 48:53Speaker 1: Mental Health. Great facility. I worked for them for years, okay,
- 48:57Speaker 1: or worked with them, I want to say. They never
- 48:59Speaker 1: treated me like I was a work for me kind
- 49:01Speaker 1: of thing. Great place.
- 49:03Speaker 3: But guess what.
- 49:05Speaker 1: The Bury Medical Center up the road here has a
- 49:08Speaker 1: psychiatrist there and has counselors there. Okay, there's places up
- 49:13Speaker 1: in Berlin there's places in Montpellia, there's places all the
- 49:17Speaker 1: way to Burlington and Bradleborough that have mental health facilities.
- 49:21Speaker 1: If you don't want what's the word, If you don't
- 49:27Speaker 1: want that hanging over your head that you went to
- 49:29Speaker 1: Washington County Mental Health, go talk to your doctor and
- 49:33Speaker 1: have your doctor set you up with somebody. If you
- 49:35Speaker 1: don't have a doctor, call the health center and say hey,
- 49:38Speaker 1: I need some help, and they'll get you in to
- 49:41Speaker 1: see somebody.
- 49:43Speaker 3: All right.
- 49:44Speaker 1: So if you're having mental health issues, yes, utilize them.
- 49:48Speaker 1: But so many people are having breakdowns because they're absorbing
- 49:53Speaker 1: and living in the negative, and you shouldn't do that.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, look.
- 50:00Speaker 3: This night it was it was sleeting and icy rain.
- 50:03Speaker 1: Okay, it was very easy for me to say I'm
- 50:06Speaker 1: so done with this shit, and I did say that. Yeah,
- 50:09Speaker 1: but two minutes later, I sat down next to my
- 50:11Speaker 1: dog and we watched a movie and I moved the
- 50:14Speaker 1: fuck on.
- 50:15Speaker 3: Yeah. Okay.
- 50:16Speaker 1: You're entitled to your opinions people, and you're entitled to
- 50:19Speaker 1: feel angry or happy or sad or hurt. You're entitled
- 50:23Speaker 1: to all those feelings. Just don't make those feelings your day. Yeah,
- 50:27Speaker 1: When people say I'm in a bad mood. I woke
- 50:29Speaker 1: up in a bad mood, Okay, and so we all
- 50:33Speaker 1: have to deal with that. Stay home, stay in bed
- 50:36Speaker 1: until you feel better.
- 50:37Speaker 2: Two two nine, five nine one, twenty four hours a day,
- 50:41Speaker 2: seven days a week. There you go. Washington County Mental Health.
- 50:44Speaker 2: Great people, great people.
- 50:46Speaker 1: But what I was saying is there's so many exciting
- 50:48Speaker 1: things going on in the world right now. There's so
- 50:50Speaker 1: many positive things. Look at the space ship got up
- 50:53Speaker 1: into space. They're all healthy and safe.
- 50:56Speaker 4: Yeah, but there's a problem with the toilet.
- 50:58Speaker 1: There was a problem with the toilet. And you know what,
- 51:01Speaker 1: people get all upset.
- 51:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:02Speaker 1: How can you send them up there knowing that nothing's
- 51:05Speaker 1: one hundred percent of people? Does that really affect you
- 51:09Speaker 1: in any way, shape or form. Come on now, I
- 51:14Speaker 1: mean there is a problem with the toilet. Yeah, good,
- 51:17Speaker 1: go in your suit, gonna find the negative. That's the
- 51:21Speaker 1: other thing is there are people out there that are
- 51:23Speaker 1: negative mongers.
- 51:24Speaker 3: They love being negative.
- 51:27Speaker 2: For six hours of the flight.
- 51:29Speaker 4: Couldn't take a crap.
- 51:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but people they not only do they get into
- 51:33Speaker 1: your business, they turn your business negative.
- 51:37Speaker 3: Okay.
- 51:37Speaker 1: I've had people that when I say something, they immediately
- 51:41Speaker 1: turn into a negative them that I'm thinking to myself,
- 51:44Speaker 1: should I feel bad?
- 51:45Speaker 3: Did I say something wrong? And then I'm like, you know.
- 51:48Speaker 1: What, that's how they perceive it. And that's the other thing.
- 51:52Speaker 1: When you're getting mad at somebody because that person's pro
- 51:55Speaker 1: Trump or pro vance or pro whatever. Okay, you're getting
- 52:01Speaker 1: mad at them, and why how does that person directly
- 52:06Speaker 1: affect you? Why are you giving that person so much
- 52:09Speaker 1: space in your brain?
- 52:12Speaker 3: You know?
- 52:12Speaker 1: There are things my husband and I agree to disagree,
- 52:16Speaker 1: and that's the way I like to live. I have
- 52:18Speaker 1: an opinion, you have an opinion. If I don't agree
- 52:21Speaker 1: with you and you don't agree with me, doesn't mean
- 52:23Speaker 1: we can't be friends. It just means that I choose
- 52:28Speaker 1: not to let your negativity about my opinion affect me
- 52:32Speaker 1: as a person. And sometimes when I have an opinion
- 52:35Speaker 1: and somebody gives me theirs, it sways me because I'm like,
- 52:38Speaker 1: you know what, I did not know that or I
- 52:40Speaker 1: didn't think about that. Tracy, my neighbor, is very good
- 52:44Speaker 1: at that. I'll say something and she's like, yeah, but
- 52:47Speaker 1: did you think that that That perfect example, I'll give
- 52:50Speaker 1: you a very simple example. I was hell bent when
- 52:53Speaker 1: we went on that cruise. I was hell bent that
- 52:56Speaker 1: night for dinners and stuff like that. Jed was to
- 52:58Speaker 1: dress nicely. Remember, yeah, I'm a hell bet And Jed's like, what,
- 53:03Speaker 1: I'll wear my shirt and call my shorts and a collar.
- 53:06Speaker 1: I said, can't you wear pants? And so I told Tracy,
- 53:09Speaker 1: you know what, if he wears shorts to dinner, I'm
- 53:11Speaker 1: not gonna hang. I'm gonna stay with JD and Chrylin
- 53:14Speaker 1: pretend I don't know him because it embarrasses me and
- 53:18Speaker 1: I like my man and me to look good. And
- 53:21Speaker 1: she said to me, is that the hill you're gonna
- 53:23Speaker 1: die on for this cruise?
- 53:25Speaker 3: And I said what?
- 53:27Speaker 1: And She's like, do you want to be annoyed at
- 53:29Speaker 1: him every night? Or do you just want to say,
- 53:31Speaker 1: you know what, this makes you happy? I don't like it,
- 53:35Speaker 1: but hey, this makes you happy. And I don't want
- 53:38Speaker 1: you to be unhappy on your cruise. I want you
- 53:40Speaker 1: to enjoy it too, and just say, you know what,
- 53:42Speaker 1: this is my man, this is how he dresses. It
- 53:44Speaker 1: makes him happy, says Or do you want to yell
- 53:47Speaker 1: at him every day to put on pants or whatever
- 53:49Speaker 1: while you're on the cruise. Now, my opinion was dress
- 53:53Speaker 1: the fuck up. And then she showed me something that
- 53:56Speaker 1: I came home and I said to Jed, you know what, honey,
- 54:00Speaker 1: the white party. I bought your white linen pants. But
- 54:02Speaker 1: other than that, if you want to wear whatever, wear whatever,
- 54:05Speaker 1: because I want you to be comfortable. Okay, So sometimes
- 54:09Speaker 1: my opinion, when somebody gives me their opinion, it changes
- 54:13Speaker 1: my mind. Yeah, so I'm always just because I have
- 54:15Speaker 1: an opinion doesn't mean I'm not going to be open
- 54:18Speaker 1: minded to other surroundings that may help me process my opinion. Yeap, okay,
- 54:24Speaker 1: And that's what people don't do. They're like, this is
- 54:26Speaker 1: my opinion. You say, well, I don't regret.
- 54:27Speaker 3: Well, that fuck you out. Yeah you're a piece of shit.
- 54:30Speaker 3: Yeah really, that's that's that's the hell you're gonna die on.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Yeah, instead of saying I hear you, I respect you,
- 54:38Speaker 1: I've heard you out, I still feel this way, but
- 54:41Speaker 1: I respect your opinion, or I hear you, I didn't
- 54:44Speaker 1: think of that. Let me reprocess. Those are the things
- 54:48Speaker 1: that are important, things that make you happy.
- 54:53Speaker 2: Chuck is just tuning in, just joining us, Chuck, you.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Know I tuned in for your show, does not know
- 55:00Speaker 1: the show that it starts. I tuned in for your show,
- 55:03Speaker 1: Chuck on time, and I even complimented you that you
- 55:08Speaker 1: looked great. Okay, the whole thing. I even I don't
- 55:12Speaker 1: know if you saw this, Chuck, but I made a
- 55:14Speaker 1: promise to you. You said you're trying to quit smoking
- 55:16Speaker 1: really bad, and my promise to you was, when you
- 55:21Speaker 1: quit for six months straight without one cigarette, I will
- 55:24Speaker 1: make you one of my cheesecakes and give it to you.
- 55:29Speaker 3: You know, so I'm on your side.
- 55:30Speaker 1: You couldn't even get on the show for me, so
- 55:33Speaker 1: you know what, Chuck, I'll do what everybody else did.
- 55:36Speaker 4: Buck you.
- 55:37Speaker 1: But honestly, Chuck, you were probably working and busy, and
- 55:40Speaker 1: I respect that. I was just busting your chops. But
- 55:42Speaker 1: he did look good. He looks great.
- 55:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Down forty five pounds. Yeah, that's awesome. That's awesome.
- 55:51Speaker 3: I still have this plant next to me.
- 55:55Speaker 2: Monday. Yeah, this coming Monday is it's going to be
- 56:00Speaker 2: an episode that you don't want to miss. You know
- 56:04Speaker 2: that I was. I've been talking about the Dugout.
- 56:07Speaker 3: YEP.
- 56:10Speaker 2: God by the name of Josh Foster reached out to
- 56:15Speaker 2: me and said, my family owned the Dugout restaurant from
- 56:22Speaker 2: nineteen eighty one to nineteen ninety before selling it to
- 56:26Speaker 2: the salties. He's got a lot to say about the
- 56:32Speaker 2: Dugout restaurant. Okay, and he's told me, I got a
- 56:37Speaker 2: lot to say. A lot of it is some pretty
- 56:41Speaker 2: fond memories.
- 56:43Speaker 3: Does he have answers as to why it looks like
- 56:46Speaker 3: that now?
- 56:46Speaker 2: I don't know. We chatted a little bit and he's like,
- 56:51Speaker 2: you know, we'll save that for the air. So he's
- 56:56Speaker 2: coming in Monday morning.
- 56:58Speaker 3: Cool.
- 56:58Speaker 2: He's driving a far, far away away, uh, to come
- 57:03Speaker 2: in here and to join us, and I really look
- 57:06Speaker 2: forward to it.
- 57:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:08Speaker 2: I'm also just heads up here is I'm going to
- 57:13Speaker 2: be uh putting up a post in a little bit,
- 57:19Speaker 2: which is the email response to me from the superintendent
- 57:27Speaker 2: of the Central Vermount Supervisory Union. Okay, that's coming up
- 57:32Speaker 2: as well. Okay, no, no hints, no nothing. Now, I'm
- 57:37Speaker 2: going to let everyone read it and kind of come
- 57:41Speaker 2: up with their own.
- 57:44Speaker 1: You're throwing something out there and we'll hear a bunch
- 57:46Speaker 1: of negatives and positives and all that stuff.
- 57:50Speaker 2: I'm gonna I'm going to be transparent and put it.
- 57:53Speaker 2: Put it out there.
- 57:54Speaker 1: I challenge everybody, when you read it, to read it
- 57:58Speaker 1: process it and and let it go and don't make
- 58:02Speaker 1: it part of your day whatever it is.
- 58:04Speaker 3: I don't know what you're gonna say. Yeah, okay, but.
- 58:08Speaker 1: You say it for informational purposes to let people know
- 58:12Speaker 1: what's going on. Okay, people, when you see it, process
- 58:17Speaker 1: it normally. Pretend you're not angry at the world right now,
- 58:21Speaker 1: Pretend you're not thrilled with the world right now, and
- 58:24Speaker 1: just process it normally and make positive production, not even positive,
- 58:30Speaker 1: make productive comments if you're If you're anti, then give
- 58:35Speaker 1: productive reasons. Don't shoot the messenger, which is you, Okay,
- 58:41Speaker 1: just give productive responses, responses that.
- 58:44Speaker 3: Are thought out.
- 58:45Speaker 1: You know, I watched my cousin Vinnie the other night
- 58:47Speaker 1: with with Tracy, and the judge said to Vinnie, he says, mister,
- 58:56Speaker 1: what Gambini, that was the most thought out, well put
- 59:01Speaker 1: together productive statement you've made so far. So when you
- 59:06Speaker 1: make statements, let's make it well thought out, productive and
- 59:11Speaker 1: not just anger.
- 59:13Speaker 3: And stupid opinions. Well my opinion, JD, you're just being
- 59:17Speaker 3: at this.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Let's leave that out and just say I did not
- 59:21Speaker 1: know that. Okay, this is my thoughts. Yeah, if you're
- 59:25Speaker 1: gonna comment, comment productively that's all, you know, the negativity.
- 59:30Speaker 1: Stopping the negativity starts with each individual person. Yeah, you know,
- 59:35Speaker 1: I can't. I try to stop my negativity, but you
- 59:39Speaker 1: got to do the same, and so does the next person.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Otherwise we're just living in that environment that we're in
- 59:45Speaker 1: right now, a negative world.
- 59:47Speaker 3: Yeah, you know.
- 59:48Speaker 1: It's nice to patronize businesses that are positive. I don't
- 59:55Speaker 1: go into certain businesses because they're negative.
- 59:59Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I went into a business last week with you, and
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: all I heard was complaints, complaints, complaints, complaints. Yeah, and
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I was like, not sure, I really want to be there,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Why do I want to
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: go someplace and buy something of yours when all you're
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: doing is about and how miserable you are.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: It's not my kind of environment.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: So just remember people, when you're super negative all the time,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: you're also turning people away. You may be turning a
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: best friend away, a friend you haven't met yet that
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: could probably enlighten or make your life more enjoyable, but
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: you will never meet that person because you're too negative.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: So you're cutting your own nose off to spite your face.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: That's my opinion, and I'm entitled to it.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Just saying thanks for coming in here.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: Gee, hey anytime anytime.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: Love having you.
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: I love being here. We always this time.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: We're cutting it short because we have places, we have
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: to go, people, we have to see stuff like that.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: But I want to wish everybody a happy holiday. Okay,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: it may not be your holiday. It may be your holiday. Yeah, okay.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: You possibly could be Jewish or Catholic, yeah, or Christian
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: or whatever. If you're gonna be Jewish, if you're gonna
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: be Christian, if you're gonna be Catholic, why don't you
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: practice what you preach. Yeah, that's all I have to say.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Practice what you preach. God loves you, we love you. Well,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: then act like that.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Don't be so negative, Nancy. And that's how I see it.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: Damn it.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: You realize that we're gonna be spending ninety two million
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: dollars on Easter candy and it's not.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: Your ninety two million.
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: There was a recession, there is a.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Recession, but people buy stuff they don't need. Happy Easter anyway, Yeah,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: happy Easter anyway. You don't have to have something in
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: your hand to enjoy eas to people. Just go it's
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: a day of family. Go have a nice time with
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: your family and let your family know that you love them,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: let your friends know that you care.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: That's all and if.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: You don't, well then you're just mud. You just dirt
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: under my shoe, Not important to me. Thanks g no, no,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: thank you
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: Assasssssssssss
