- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's Almost Famous Podcasts. We are here this week breaking
- 0:08Speaker 2: down Fantasy Sweet Week. For Grant, it's the Bachelor. We
- 0:12Speaker 2: know not much left. Fantasy suitets are always a big deal.
- 0:16Speaker 2: I'll start it with this. I say it every year.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I know there's been talk Ashley that fantasy suites are
- 0:22Speaker 2: are not valuable important. How do you make them? You know?
- 0:25Speaker 2: So there's not this connotation that you got to go
- 0:28Speaker 2: sleep together. And what I will always say, no matter
- 0:30Speaker 2: where your value system lies, wherever your morals lie, whatever
- 0:33Speaker 2: you think about spending the night with somebody, Fantasy Sweet
- 0:37Speaker 2: Week is the most impactful week on the show for
- 0:41Speaker 2: the contestants because it's the first time that the cameras
- 0:44Speaker 2: are away, So you can go in that room, close
- 0:46Speaker 2: the door and just be away from the cameras, and
- 0:50Speaker 2: conversations can exist and like you can kind of let
- 0:52Speaker 2: your hair down a little bit and take a deep breath.
- 0:54Speaker 2: I'm always interested in Fantasy Sweet Week because I think
- 0:57Speaker 2: it changes things so drastically, because it's the most intention
- 1:00Speaker 2: time of the season. And with that, we're gonna kick
- 1:03Speaker 2: it off. Ashley. You just started this thing. When we
- 1:07Speaker 2: got going, I'm gonna call you out a little bit.
- 1:09Speaker 2: You said, how are we going to talk about this episode?
- 1:12Speaker 2: Because you thought the date specifically were so boring.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I just wanted to like talk about it on
- 1:19Speaker 3: like an overall level because I feel like I have
- 1:21Speaker 3: two sentences to say about each date. Nothing really happened
- 1:25Speaker 3: of consequence on any of these dates, and nothing changed
- 1:28Speaker 3: our minds from where we were last week with his
- 1:32Speaker 3: ranking of these women in my opinion, but there are
- 1:35Speaker 3: a few things that I've noticed that I think are
- 1:38Speaker 3: kind of game changing.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Okay, let me tell you this. I'll give you a
- 1:42Speaker 2: little behind the scenes. Do you really want do you
- 1:44Speaker 2: want to hear a little behind the scenes.
- 1:47Speaker 3: I'd love to hear behind the scenes.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Okay, when you go on a date during Fantasy Sweet Week,
- 1:52Speaker 2: Sweet Week, and honest honestly most weeks outside of that,
- 1:59Speaker 2: you were are kind of requested not to have anything
- 2:04Speaker 2: of meaning happened during the daytime portion. So these dates
- 2:08Speaker 2: are supposed to be fillers.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Oh, we've done this for like just seven or eight years,
- 2:13Speaker 3: and you now tell me that daytime portions are supposed
- 2:16Speaker 3: to be boring. They are supposed to be I mean,
- 2:19Speaker 3: it's true. We all know that. We all know that
- 2:22Speaker 3: the serious conversations happened at night.
- 2:24Speaker 2: For example, there's no way that the show says we're
- 2:27Speaker 2: going to have a date on one of the most
- 2:29Speaker 2: valuable weeks of the season that's silent yoga and that's
- 2:34Speaker 2: going to progress this relationship. There's just no there's a
- 2:39Speaker 2: reason why that's the case. It's an easy setup because
- 2:42Speaker 2: what the show wants is this like date to be
- 2:45Speaker 2: fun and something to talk about then in the evening
- 2:48Speaker 2: where we will really get the meat of the relationship.
- 2:51Speaker 2: So I don't disagree with you, but my point is,
- 2:54Speaker 2: I think that is strategic by the show.
- 2:58Speaker 3: I just feel like normally I'm far more in our
- 3:00Speaker 3: tained by Fantasy Sweet Day Week.
- 3:02Speaker 2: MM. Why is that?
- 3:04Speaker 3: I felt like there was just like I just felt
- 3:06Speaker 3: like there was so nothing. I don't know, there was nothing.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Juliana had something. There was something with Juliana. You know,
- 3:12Speaker 3: she like really emotionally poured herself out with her you know,
- 3:18Speaker 3: talk about her ex and how she's broken. He's like
- 3:20Speaker 3: I'm broken, du blah blah blah. But like everything else,
- 3:26Speaker 3: just I feel like I didn't it didn't progress anything
- 3:28Speaker 3: for me, this was my big these my my takeaways
- 3:33Speaker 3: from the episode have to do with it being like
- 3:37Speaker 3: the off air stuff. Apparently, Grant last night hosted a
- 3:42Speaker 3: picture like a screenshot of he and Juliana and he
- 3:47Speaker 3: added her and then did a lock emoji. To me,
- 3:53Speaker 3: this is what it means. I said, I love you too,
- 3:56Speaker 3: Letia during the episode. But but baby girl, I got
- 4:01Speaker 3: you on Locke.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Yeah. My take has been that he is not with Letia,
- 4:05Speaker 2: even though it seems to be the most sense and
- 4:07Speaker 2: it seems to be the one that he's pulling for,
- 4:09Speaker 2: which starts to answer the questions that we see the previews.
- 4:13Speaker 2: When we see in the previews for the rest of
- 4:15Speaker 2: the season, I think he's with Juliana. And the reason
- 4:17Speaker 2: I don't think he's with Latia is because of this
- 4:21Speaker 2: Montana girl's date.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Okay, that and she was also seen with Kelsey and
- 4:25Speaker 3: Joey againcing with the stars.
- 4:27Speaker 2: It doesn't seem like the strategy that the show has
- 4:31Speaker 2: typically taken with the winner, Like they're kind of quiet,
- 4:34Speaker 2: hidden and she's kind of doing her own thing and
- 4:36Speaker 2: getting out there. So, you know, Juliana I think is
- 4:39Speaker 2: the clearest choice. I also think Grant has been and
- 4:45Speaker 2: this hasn't made big headlines, but I know people have
- 4:48Speaker 2: been talking about he's maybe been strategically open on social
- 4:54Speaker 2: media giving hints to how this process plays.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Out to add excitement.
- 5:00Speaker 2: No, I think we could. You can see it two ways.
- 5:02Speaker 2: One it's him just trying to reassure whoever he's with
- 5:06Speaker 2: that this is the thing. Or the other side of
- 5:09Speaker 2: that would be it's sloppy. It's sloppy, like he said
- 5:13Speaker 2: he should have been on Love Island, like not the
- 5:14Speaker 2: Battery were both things.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Well that's what he said last week. So you guys
- 5:18Speaker 3: don't know. He was commenting under another post and he
- 5:22Speaker 3: was like, when you know you should have been on
- 5:25Speaker 3: Love Island and not the Bachelor is that's just like
- 5:28Speaker 3: kind of him, I think, poking fun out of himself
- 5:31Speaker 3: for not being the greatest Bachelor.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Yes, well, and here's what happened. Here's the wild part
- 5:36Speaker 2: of this until we go on to the next two
- 5:37Speaker 2: dates that are our valuable important. So he starts doing
- 5:41Speaker 2: this stuff, which typically the show would start to call
- 5:44Speaker 2: him and be like, hey, Grant, you got to stay
- 5:45Speaker 2: off social media. Hey Grant, you can't be liking post.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Hey Grant, you can't be following this person and not
- 5:50Speaker 2: this person, like Grant, can you wait a month for
- 5:52Speaker 2: us here, buddy, because you're giving the show away, And
- 5:55Speaker 2: that's the worst thing that can happen to the show
- 5:57Speaker 2: while it's airing. The problem is everybody that on the
- 6:00Speaker 2: show's gone now, so nobody's looking out, like nobody's over
- 6:04Speaker 2: the show anymore. They're all checked out, like if they're
- 6:07Speaker 2: still working on the show, they know their job is
- 6:09Speaker 2: ending as soon as grand season's over. So like, outside
- 6:13Speaker 2: of you a paycheck, what interest do they have in
- 6:15Speaker 2: keeping this show moving this season? And so I think
- 6:17Speaker 2: he's just kind of doing what he wants to do.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Nobody's really checking out for it, and we're getting the
- 6:23Speaker 2: results of it because if you look hard enough, you're
- 6:26Speaker 2: gonna get a lot of hints at who he's with
- 6:29Speaker 2: and how this plays out via his social media. Now,
- 6:33Speaker 2: we just talked about Juliana and how she is a
- 6:36Speaker 2: front runner in our eyes. Her date was what I
- 6:39Speaker 2: would say the best date out of the three. There
- 6:43Speaker 2: was vulnerability, I.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Agree, it had the most.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Meat to it, But we'll move on from that to Zoe.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Even it was obvious to us last week before this
- 6:54Speaker 2: episode even aired, that we thought Zoe was far behind
- 6:59Speaker 2: in third, like that, it almost didn't it make sense
- 7:02Speaker 2: for Zoe to be at Fantasy Sweet Week because like,
- 7:05Speaker 2: they didn't have hardly any time together. Now they're at
- 7:08Speaker 2: Fantasy Sweet Week. They really don't know each other too well.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Yet everybody feels kind of their lack of chemistry online.
- 7:18Speaker 3: There are so many memes that are like, hey, I'm Zoe,
- 7:21Speaker 3: nice to meet you, Like well walking into it there,
- 7:24Speaker 3: yeah sweet, It really didn't seem to change this week.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Zoe does feel a little robotic to me at times too.
- 7:33Speaker 3: She does not seem very invested in this. I've never
- 7:37Speaker 3: seen a girl seem so disinterested during this week.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Well, how would she be at this point? Now? She's
- 7:43Speaker 2: been given so many signs, in so many nonverbal actions
- 7:49Speaker 2: to tell her that, hey, she's in third, like Grant
- 7:51Speaker 2: didn't even want to spend a one on one with her.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Oh, because yes, there's really been no one before that
- 7:58Speaker 3: has gotten to Fantasy Sweet Week without having a proper
- 8:02Speaker 3: one on one besides home downs. Your home down being
- 8:05Speaker 3: your first one on one like that's wild wild.
- 8:09Speaker 2: So my thought is she is probably like, why am
- 8:14Speaker 2: I investing into a relationship that he doesn't want to
- 8:16Speaker 2: invest into Yeah, I'm checked out.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Yeah, something that I think is interesting that was never
- 8:32Speaker 3: mentioned during this and maybe it was Grant being smart
- 8:35Speaker 3: and just never bringing it up to production. I think
- 8:41Speaker 3: that that must have been what it is. But he
- 8:42Speaker 3: told Nick on his podcast that he had been celibate
- 8:47Speaker 3: for a year going into Fantasy Sweet Week, and I
- 8:50Speaker 3: think that's like a huge thing to talk about. But
- 8:53Speaker 3: my assumption is that he didn't talk about this on
- 8:56Speaker 3: camera because maybe he just didn't want to deal with
- 8:58Speaker 3: that because there's be so much additional pressure and so
- 9:01Speaker 3: much additional messiness a law zack. If he were to
- 9:06Speaker 3: say like, hey, I might just be continuing this celibate
- 9:09Speaker 3: journey until, you know, just one more week at least, Yeah,
- 9:13Speaker 3: I was.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Gonna say, well, it makes sense because of his time
- 9:16Speaker 2: on The Bachelor att But then in between times he
- 9:18Speaker 2: could have broken that celibacy. He had plenty of time
- 9:22Speaker 2: and he was off so early during that season that yeah,
- 9:25Speaker 2: and he was you know, nobody would have expected it,
- 9:28Speaker 2: but they announced him pretty quickly as the next Bachelor,
- 9:30Speaker 2: and once you're the next Bachelor, I do think there
- 9:33Speaker 2: is that pressure of I'm not going to go out
- 9:35Speaker 2: there and date like, yeah, that's I'm so, you know,
- 9:38Speaker 2: a lot of this year has been taken up. I'm
- 9:40Speaker 2: not going to say that that isn't a strategic, intentional
- 9:43Speaker 2: choice by him, but a lot of this year has
- 9:45Speaker 2: been taken up with the expectations of this show that
- 9:48Speaker 2: now he is the lead of. But yeah, that is
- 9:52Speaker 2: a big talking point that was never really brought up.
- 9:54Speaker 2: But they did reference Zach quite a bit during this episode.
- 9:57Speaker 2: We do got to give a shout out to Daisy
- 10:00Speaker 2: and Rachel coming on and speaking to the first two guests,
- 10:06Speaker 2: obviously Katie.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Then yeah, Katie. Katie's segment was like a whole commercial,
- 10:11Speaker 3: like long segment, you know, like commercial Katie commercial. And
- 10:16Speaker 3: I was thinking that these girl chats, while worthy in
- 10:19Speaker 3: some degree, I think most worthy. With Katie's, I thought
- 10:22Speaker 3: they were just like just a waste of time, Like
- 10:25Speaker 3: we love seeing visits from past contestants, but when they're
- 10:29Speaker 3: so long, they're just like, why am I seeing more
- 10:32Speaker 3: of their day? Like I want to see more of them.
- 10:35Speaker 3: But with Katie, I think it was pretty much all worthy.
- 10:38Speaker 3: She talked to Latia before her day, and they specifically
- 10:40Speaker 3: had her because Zach, of course, was like, Hey, guess what,
- 10:43Speaker 3: we're not doing sex fantasy Sweet week and then oops,
- 10:47Speaker 3: he did and not with his winner, And that was
- 10:50Speaker 3: a whole hurdle that they had to go through before
- 10:54Speaker 3: their Fantasy sweet because Zach, you know, he told Katie beforehand,
- 10:57Speaker 3: which is the good choice. Well, I guess it was
- 10:59Speaker 3: a good choice, or he could have just said it
- 11:00Speaker 3: in the privacy though you know you don't let you
- 11:02Speaker 3: do that on the bachel word anyway, So Letia obviously
- 11:07Speaker 3: wanted to talk to Katie about the fact that she
- 11:09Speaker 3: like had full intent to not sleep with Grant until
- 11:15Speaker 3: fantasies until she was chosen at the end, if she
- 11:19Speaker 3: is chosen. And I would think that that was going
- 11:22Speaker 3: to be a religious thing. I thought was going to
- 11:23Speaker 3: be more. I thought she was going to say more
- 11:25Speaker 3: so like we may not have sex soal or married.
- 11:28Speaker 3: But that doesn't seem Likelytia's intention right now.
- 11:32Speaker 2: I mean, I think this is a very fair thing
- 11:34Speaker 2: for any contestant to request and to say and to
- 11:38Speaker 2: speak out. Uh, this is a weird week and it's
- 11:41Speaker 2: and it does frustrate me, not frustrate me. It is
- 11:47Speaker 2: kind of a stereotype of the week that this is
- 11:51Speaker 2: all about sex, and the truth is, when you're in it,
- 11:55Speaker 2: it's not It is a It is a reprieve from
- 12:00Speaker 2: the grind of the every day that has been your
- 12:03Speaker 2: life for three months. It is a really exciting week
- 12:08Speaker 2: to take a deep breath and just be you because
- 12:13Speaker 2: no matter who you are with, the cameras are going.
- 12:15Speaker 2: You recognize that there's a camera on you, and so
- 12:18Speaker 2: you can ask questions and say things that maybe you're
- 12:22Speaker 2: more nervous about. Maybe Grant can open up about his
- 12:24Speaker 2: dad a little bit more to her because the cameras
- 12:26Speaker 2: aren't there and he knows it's not going to be
- 12:28Speaker 2: displayed to national audience. Like, things like that are so
- 12:32Speaker 2: important this week, and so for her to say this,
- 12:35Speaker 2: it's not only fair, it's very understandable. It should not
- 12:40Speaker 2: be a conversation. I don't think of, Oh, this is
- 12:44Speaker 2: such an important piece though to us getting together. It's like,
- 12:49Speaker 2: give her a break. This is a weird week, man, Like, Yeah,
- 12:52Speaker 2: this is an odd scenario.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Although Zach didn't handle it well, it's probably a good
- 12:58Speaker 3: idea to not have sex the VI because it's probably
- 13:02Speaker 3: probably gonna create issues down the road, but you know,
- 13:06Speaker 3: every Yeah, so he had a he had he had
- 13:09Speaker 3: a good hope there or at.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Least ask for everybody's opinion, like maybe don't like make
- 13:15Speaker 2: make the decision on behalf of everybody, but say, yeah,
- 13:19Speaker 2: you know this is why. But okay, so Tia makes
- 13:21Speaker 2: it clear kind of her expectations. It does seem and
- 13:26Speaker 2: Astley tell me if I'm wrong to me right now
- 13:30Speaker 2: and the show is good at this, I get it.
- 13:33Speaker 2: It just feels like to me, Grant wants to choose Latia.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Okay, So actually this was a This was a big
- 13:39Speaker 3: moment for me during the episode. This Latita's whole day
- 13:42Speaker 3: was the episode to me because she I did not
- 13:48Speaker 3: feel their connection as strongly as I usually do during
- 13:53Speaker 3: their date what was aired. I know that sounds crazy
- 13:57Speaker 3: because he ended the date with I love you, which
- 14:00Speaker 3: actually threw me off. I was like, wait, have I
- 14:02Speaker 3: been reading your body language wrong, sir, Because for the
- 14:05Speaker 3: first time I felt like Letia wasn't the front runner
- 14:08Speaker 3: until he said that, I thought that he he seemed
- 14:13Speaker 3: just bored behind the eyes. I don't know what it was.
- 14:16Speaker 3: His like light in his eyes when he normally looks
- 14:19Speaker 3: at her wasn't there. And my interpretation of that was
- 14:22Speaker 3: that he was thinking of Juliana during this day, and
- 14:25Speaker 3: like that he had switched and he was now very
- 14:29Speaker 3: connected to Juliana after their fantasy suite and after that
- 14:32Speaker 3: conversation that we saw, and then all of a sudden,
- 14:35Speaker 3: he says, I love you, and I go, whoops. Maybe
- 14:37Speaker 3: they were just showing me think like they were just
- 14:39Speaker 3: showing me body language from Grant that was throwing me off.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Maybe they did it intentionally. But yeah, he says, I
- 14:48Speaker 3: love you, which can only make her think she is
- 14:51Speaker 3: the one, And you'd really think that he was pretty
- 14:56Speaker 3: certain she was the one too, But we see you.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Of course next week he was absolutely not sure.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Can I have my annual moment here? Can I take
- 15:06Speaker 2: my annual moment that I.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Give an annual moment?
- 15:08Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 15:09Speaker 3: Of course.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Can I just again, for the tenth straight year, say
- 15:14Speaker 2: justice for me? I know, I know, I mean I
- 15:18Speaker 2: got absolutely blasted, blasted, and once they aired this for me,
- 15:28Speaker 2: I think every season since then has had a moment
- 15:32Speaker 2: like this. I know, like they've had this place where
- 15:38Speaker 2: they're like, I don't know what to do. This is
- 15:40Speaker 2: so hard. I've never dated thirty women at one time.
- 15:43Speaker 2: I don't know how to do it. Well, I don't
- 15:45Speaker 2: know what the right words to say are. I don't
- 15:46Speaker 2: know how to reassure but not give too much confidence.
- 15:50Speaker 2: I don't know how to say things but not lead
- 15:52Speaker 2: somebody on. I'm feeling this now, so let me express it,
- 15:55Speaker 2: even though I don't know if it's really true or
- 15:58Speaker 2: if how it's going to play out. It happens every year,
- 16:03Speaker 2: and somehow, somehow now it's just a thing. It's just
- 16:07Speaker 2: it's just the way.
- 16:08Speaker 3: This shows go, the normal thing.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Really, but every year, I have to take that moment
- 16:13Speaker 2: and just get it out there because I'm selfish, I'm hurt. Ah,
- 16:20Speaker 2: I'm so affected by the response back then, people saying
- 16:29Speaker 2: that it was confusing, that it was mean, and I
- 16:33Speaker 2: just have to take this second and say once again,
- 16:36Speaker 2: I'll put my steak in the ground and say, look
- 16:40Speaker 2: at what's happening. I'm not alone.
- 16:43Speaker 3: You should feel all the vindication that you feel.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Thank you, Ashley. All Right, we can move on.
- 16:47Speaker 3: You're welcome.
- 16:49Speaker 2: We can move on.
- 16:50Speaker 3: But what was your interpretation of that date? Am I
- 16:53Speaker 3: being dramatic?
- 16:54Speaker 2: No, you're not being dramatic. I think I saw it differently,
- 16:58Speaker 2: mostly after the tell All episode with Grant. I think
- 17:03Speaker 2: Grant is tired, and I think he's very over it.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I think he wants this to work still, and I
- 17:10Speaker 2: do think Grant has been a bachelor that has been
- 17:16Speaker 2: a good bachelor in the sense that he does want
- 17:18Speaker 2: this to work, and that is the most important item
- 17:23Speaker 2: that we need in a lead.
- 17:26Speaker 3: I though I said one bachelor didn't want it to work?
- 17:29Speaker 3: Was it Wan Pablo?
- 17:31Speaker 2: There's been a few. I won't name names, but there's
- 17:33Speaker 2: a few that I know went into it going this
- 17:35Speaker 2: is just gonna be good for me. You can make
- 17:38Speaker 2: assumptions off of that. But I think he looks tired.
- 17:43Speaker 2: I think he looks over it. I think he looks frustrated.
- 17:47Speaker 2: I'm sure he's been frustrated just based on kind of
- 17:49Speaker 2: the things that he's wanted out of this experience that
- 17:51Speaker 2: he isn't getting. So when I see hit him and
- 17:55Speaker 2: Letia together, it isn't that he's not into her. I
- 17:59Speaker 2: think he he's just not into any of this anymore.
- 18:02Speaker 2: He doesn't. I'm gonna be very interested in the final
- 18:06Speaker 2: live show to see kind of his face, but maybe
- 18:09Speaker 2: it was just me.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Well, I think he's gonna be dreading the live show.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Well, sure, we all we all do. It's not fun.
- 18:17Speaker 2: So literally, you're roast.
- 18:19Speaker 3: He might have the worst. Well, just he keeps teasing
- 18:22Speaker 3: that he might have the worst. He's the one that
- 18:24Speaker 3: says like everybody's gonna hate me or something in the tease.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Yeah, well it's not gonna be fun. I don't think
- 18:29Speaker 2: anybody looks at it and goes, this is gonna be
- 18:31Speaker 2: a great Maybe Joey did because he was still with
- 18:33Speaker 2: Kelsey and he's like, this is gonna be fine. Like
- 18:35Speaker 2: everybody and I, you know, get along.
- 18:36Speaker 3: But everybody loved him. Everybody was just like Joey does.
- 18:38Speaker 3: So I let you know that, like Robert Hart, but
- 18:40Speaker 3: I still love you. You're a great man.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Hope you guys make it work. So I just think
- 18:44Speaker 2: this isn't gonna be fun for granted, So I don't
- 18:46Speaker 2: I don't necessarily see the chemistry.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Side, Okay, I mean I might be being dramatic and
- 18:51Speaker 3: saying that for some reason, it just didn't feel the
- 18:53Speaker 3: same way it usually feels. And I was like, ah,
- 18:55Speaker 3: he's thinking about Juliana. Might be wrong. Okay, So he
- 19:00Speaker 3: obviously eliminates Zoe the least dramatic row ceremony of all time.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Could you imagine what they're when, you know how you
- 19:06Speaker 3: were just talking about the feeling of when the door
- 19:07Speaker 3: closes and you finally have alone time for the first time.
- 19:11Speaker 3: I'm imagining that, like the door closed. And then he
- 19:13Speaker 3: was like, oh, this is even more accord.
- 19:17Speaker 2: With Yeah, he's like, hey, what do you want to do?
- 19:19Speaker 2: You want to do a puzzle.
- 19:22Speaker 3: For two extremely hot people. It seems like they had
- 19:24Speaker 3: absolutely no physical chemistry too, but I can't even really imagine,
- 19:28Speaker 3: and they had to have some She had pain flown.
- 19:31Speaker 2: In that room. Yeah, that's fair.
- 19:43Speaker 3: So last week when She's all Batch was on and
- 19:47Speaker 3: you were in DC, I did drop like a little
- 19:52Speaker 3: something something that we've been hearing, and that was that
- 19:55Speaker 3: there may be a coin toss at the end of
- 19:59Speaker 3: this that helps him in deciding who he's gonna pick.
- 20:05Speaker 3: We have no idea the legitimacy of this, Like somebody
- 20:08Speaker 3: told us this. A couple theories on the way that
- 20:12Speaker 3: this might go down, if indeed it is a thing. One,
- 20:17Speaker 3: I don't think it's a thing because or I don't
- 20:20Speaker 3: think it's a thing that they're gonna air because they
- 20:22Speaker 3: haven't teased it.
- 20:23Speaker 2: There's no way they hear it.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Oh, Okay, okay, if they.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Aired that, they might as well just then walk out
- 20:31Speaker 2: with the white flag and be like this has been
- 20:33Speaker 2: a fun twenty five years.
- 20:34Speaker 3: The show's done well, you know what, it's on its way.
- 20:38Speaker 3: So his minus will do it with a very hilarious moment,
- 20:42Speaker 3: I mean in hilarious to us and not hilarious to
- 20:45Speaker 3: these two women.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Or you just walk Chris Harrison out with the white
- 20:49Speaker 2: flag and say, hey, guys, I told you so.
- 20:52Speaker 3: That be oh and then he'd be like Harrison out,
- 20:56Speaker 3: boom boom, that's really good. That's good to you, you too, Okay.
- 21:01Speaker 3: So yeah, I was gonna say one thing why. One
- 21:04Speaker 3: theory is that it happened and they're not gonna er
- 21:06Speaker 3: it because they if they were gonna er it, it
- 21:09Speaker 3: was gonna be teased all season long. All we were
- 21:12Speaker 3: gonna see was that like thumb go on poop in
- 21:15Speaker 3: every teaser. And then my second thing is like, well,
- 21:18Speaker 3: he does it, but they don't. They don't tease it
- 21:22Speaker 3: that he that they that he does it, and that
- 21:24Speaker 3: they don't actually air it, which is apparently yours. So
- 21:29Speaker 3: we'll actually never know whether it was a coin flip
- 21:32Speaker 3: or not.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Maybe get him on an ask, he'll tell us I
- 21:34Speaker 2: don't think.
- 21:34Speaker 3: He he's still happy with this girl?
- 21:39Speaker 2: Yeah, wait till like yeah, well, wait to say that
- 21:41Speaker 2: plays out?
- 21:42Speaker 3: The The other thing we have to talk about before
- 21:44Speaker 3: we wrap this ben is he says I love you Toltiya,
- 21:48Speaker 3: but we still think that he but he obviously is
- 21:50Speaker 3: so so torn next week that he obviously feels the
- 21:52Speaker 3: same way about Juliana. He's gonna probably end up saying
- 21:56Speaker 3: I love you to Juliana. I guess how how how
- 21:59Speaker 3: does one? How does it flip so fast? I guess
- 22:01Speaker 3: it does. I guess it flips. You keep saying that
- 22:03Speaker 3: it flips, so it can you can truly not know
- 22:06Speaker 3: until like a day or two before.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know if it flips as much as
- 22:10Speaker 2: you get some clarity or you start to do like
- 22:13Speaker 2: the pros and cons. I mean, this is such a
- 22:16Speaker 2: weird way to try to find a forever partner that
- 22:23Speaker 2: you do things and think through things that you would
- 22:26Speaker 2: never do in a natural, healthy relationship. You literally are
- 22:29Speaker 2: comparing two people and you're saying, what's the pros and
- 22:31Speaker 2: what's the cons to each? And I get to choose
- 22:35Speaker 2: it's not healthy, it's not I would say, it's very
- 22:39Speaker 2: rare that when you're this conflicted, it's gonna end up
- 22:42Speaker 2: working afterwards, which is.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Why it really hasn't worked many times.
- 22:47Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. And so if I had to
- 22:51Speaker 2: pay a place of back, I don't know who he's with,
- 22:53Speaker 2: and I wish Grant the best I do. I want
- 22:55Speaker 2: him happy. I want whoever he's with happy. That's not
- 22:57Speaker 2: the point here. I would just say if I was
- 22:59Speaker 2: a betting and I would say this relationship probably isn't
- 23:02Speaker 2: either working right now or it's on its way to
- 23:05Speaker 2: not be working, because it affects both people very deeply,
- 23:10Speaker 2: and it isn't the healthiest way to kick off something
- 23:12Speaker 2: new and fresh. If we look back in Bachelor history,
- 23:16Speaker 2: the ones that have made it work are the ones
- 23:17Speaker 2: that it was pretty clear outside of Desire and Chris.
- 23:20Speaker 2: But I still think it was clearer than what the
- 23:23Speaker 2: show led on there. Yeah, I think it was a
- 23:25Speaker 2: lot clearer to them. So that's my thoughts, Ashley. The
- 23:30Speaker 2: previews for the rest of the season are emotional, They're dramatic,
- 23:34Speaker 2: like always. I do think, if anything, if you're listening
- 23:38Speaker 2: to this and you haven't watched any of Grant's season.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Yet I understand I'm not gonna shame watch like watch
- 23:44Speaker 2: shame you or whatever. I would say. Tune into the
- 23:48Speaker 2: final episode because I think, no matter what, it's going
- 23:50Speaker 2: to be entertaining and it's going to be truly one
- 23:55Speaker 2: of the most dramatic endings we've ever seen in Bachelor history.
- 24:00Speaker 3: I agree, for one of the weakest seasons, sorry, guys,
- 24:04Speaker 3: I do think that the finale will be one of
- 24:08Speaker 3: the more compelling ones because Oh, he really doesn't know.
- 24:14Speaker 2: I don't think he knows, and I don't think he
- 24:16Speaker 2: has a great path to knowing. And that's how we're
- 24:18Speaker 2: gonna end this. We're gonna be back breaking down. Obviously,
- 24:22Speaker 2: the rest of the season, it hasn't been a season
- 24:25Speaker 2: that we would say was a home run. It hasn't
- 24:27Speaker 2: been one that we've been on our edge of the seat,
- 24:28Speaker 2: on the edge of our seats for. But I do
- 24:31Speaker 2: think if you haven't watched all season, tune into the
- 24:33Speaker 2: final episode next week. It's going to be something that
- 24:37Speaker 2: is talked about, that is memorable and that probably makes
- 24:41Speaker 2: you a little squeamish and awkward. I would expect this
- 24:46Speaker 2: episode to have all the goods in it better because
- 24:49Speaker 2: I do know this. The show has enough content from
- 24:55Speaker 2: this week to make it really good. It just matters
- 24:59Speaker 2: how it shown.
- 25:01Speaker 3: And my final thought is that I think that he's
- 25:05Speaker 3: not going to say I love you Juliana until the altar,
- 25:11Speaker 3: as in, you know, the final roles alter.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Yeah, wherever that says. This has been Almost Famous podcast.
- 25:17Speaker 2: We're gonna be back next week with another breakdown of
