- 0:03Hopium, hopium, get your hopium, hopium, hopium.
- 0:06Yes, I'm selling hopium, folks. Although I am
- 0:10Bagrodamus, although I am your GM who currently
- 0:14is not on a team right now, although I am your
- 0:17GM who knows any and all things related to the
- 0:20bag, rumors to the bag, and more, I am now your
- 0:23hopium. All the hopium that you need to make
- 0:26it through the rest of the season, I am the person
- 0:29to go to because there are some fan bases right
- 0:32now that are going to need some hopium. Dolphins
- 0:35fans. But we're not going to talk about them
- 0:37right now because we have a mega bag alert, mega
- 0:39bag alert, mega bag alert, mega bag alert, folks.
- 0:42That's right. Colton Mickiewicz, Jamison Williams,
- 0:45Armani Hooker, Christian Watson, and Zion McCollum
- 0:48get paid. Cam Hayward and the Steelers find resolution.
- 0:51The Eagles trade for Tank Bigsby. Steelers...
- 1:01All of this and more. On the 93rd episode of
- 1:04the Football Junkies Podcast, okay, I am your
- 1:06host with the most, all right? I am your GM who
- 1:09currently is not on the team right now, but don't
- 1:11you worry about it, all right? Don't you worry
- 1:13about it because I'm your chief, Batgirl Thomas.
- 1:15That's right, chief, head of the table, anything
- 1:18and everything related to the bag, rumors to
- 1:20the bag, and more. But guess what? I'm all these
- 1:23things and more. But most importantly, the most
- 1:25important thing that you must remember is I am
- 1:27your host, Kale. This is going to be a loaded
- 1:29episode, so buckle up, Ravens fans. Buckle up,
- 1:32Steelers fans. fans, buckle up Dolphins fans,
- 1:34because man, oh man, we have a lot to talk about
- 1:36with your fan bases. So guess what? On three,
- 1:38one, two, three, let's lock in. All right, folks,
- 2:08let's get into the meat and potatoes of everything
- 2:10that is going on in the league right now. So,
- 2:12before we get into the game recaps, let's talk
- 2:15about these bag alerts and get that out the way,
- 2:17all right? So, Colton Mikovic's right tackle
- 2:19for the 49ers inks a three -year, $45 million
- 2:22deal, $27 million guaranteed, and he'll be making
- 2:24$15 million a year. When we look at his stats
- 2:27from this past season, according to PFF, six
- 2:29penalties and allowed two sacks. A good deal
- 2:32for an above -average right tackle. For someone
- 2:34who was drafted in the fifth round, he's doing
- 2:36something right. So it was only right for the
- 2:3949ers to take care of him, not to mention he's
- 2:42not making a whole lot of money. And it's a short
- 2:43-term deal, meaning that if Colton Mikovits outplays
- 2:47this contract, he can be due for a bigger payday
- 2:49either by the 49ers or somebody in free agency.
- 2:52But if he underperforms with this contract, the
- 2:5649ers can get rid of him and not take on large
- 2:59dead cap hits, which is fairly good. Now, you're
- 3:01paying a boatload of money to Trent Williams,
- 3:03so he wasn't going to be making a whole bunch
- 3:05of money anyway. But all in all, really good
- 3:08deal for both sides. Now, let's talk about Jamison
- 3:10Williams, all right? Wide receiver for the Lions
- 3:12in a three -year $83 million deal, $67 million
- 3:16guaranteed, and he'll be making $27 .6 million
- 3:19a year. When we look at his steps from this past
- 3:21season, 92 targets for 58 receptions, 1 ,001
- 3:24receiving yards, 7 touchdowns, and 17 .3 receiving
- 3:27yards per reception. Now, according to Reception
- 3:29Perception, Jamison Williams' success rate when
- 3:32facing man coverage is 65 .7%. When facing zone
- 3:36coverage, his success rate is 79 .5%. When facing
- 3:41press coverage, 61 .9%. When being double covered,
- 3:45his success rate is 50%. Folks, this is a really
- 3:48good deal for an underrated wide receiver too.
- 3:51Not to mention he's only 24 years old. So by
- 3:54the time this deal is over with, he's still going
- 3:56to be in his prime. Meaning if he tested free
- 3:59agency, he can be due for a bigger contract than
- 4:01what he's making right now. Even though right
- 4:03now he's making pretty good money for a wide
- 4:05receiver too. Although he is a wide receiver
- 4:07too, that doesn't mean that he isn't productive.
- 4:10When Amon Ross St. Brown is being locked up,
- 4:12Jamison Williams is still available. He's still
- 4:15making plays. He's still doing everything that
- 4:17the Lions need him to do and more. That's what
- 4:20you need sometimes. Ross A. Brown is the one.
- 4:22Jameson Williams is the two. Slash 1B if you
- 4:26want to have that conversation. But it's a really
- 4:29good deal. This is what I've been saying for
- 4:31the last few years. Sign shorter term contracts.
- 4:35Because by signing shorter term contracts, not
- 4:38only are you getting a lot of your money up front,
- 4:41you're also... allowing yourself to increase
- 4:44your market so that when you hit free agency,
- 4:46guess what? You can be due for a bigger payday
- 4:49than what you originally got. But what do I know?
- 4:53I'm not a GM, all right? So let's talk about
- 4:55Amani Hooker, safety for the Titans, who inks
- 4:57a three -year $48 .6 million deal, $29 million
- 5:00guaranteed, and he'll be making $16 .2 million
- 5:03a year. When we look at his stats from this past
- 5:05season, 70 tackles, five picks, a good team -friendly
- 5:09deal for productive safety. Now, he isn't in
- 5:13that same realm as a Derwin James or Kyle Hamilton
- 5:16or Antoine Winfield Jr. or Amiga Fitzpatrick,
- 5:19but he is a productive safety. He has made some
- 5:23big plays in the last few years, so it was only
- 5:26right for the Titans to take care of him. Now,
- 5:28let's talk about Christian Watson, wide receiver
- 5:30for the Packers, who inks a one -year $13 .2
- 5:33million deal. When we look at his stats from
- 5:35this past season, 53 targets, For 29 receptions,
- 5:38620 receiving yards, two touchdowns, and 21 .4
- 5:42receiving yards per reception. Now, I know a
- 5:44lot of people are asking the same question. Why
- 5:46give Christian Watson an extension when he's
- 5:49still recovering from a torn ACL? A lot of that
- 5:51had to do because they still believe in him.
- 5:54and that he was going to hit free agency next
- 5:55year. So it was only right that you keep Christian
- 5:59Watson because most likely you're going to lose
- 6:01Romeo Dobbs or Dontavion Wicks in free agency.
- 6:04So you have to keep at least one veteran, and
- 6:06why not keep Christian Watson? When he is on
- 6:08the field, he is a baller, but clearly the Packers
- 6:11value him and they value what he brings to the
- 6:14table. So by giving him a one -year extension,
- 6:16you're not tying him for the long run. You're
- 6:19just allowing him to get healthy again so that
- 6:22he can go out. increase his value, like I've
- 6:25been saying for these past few contracts, and
- 6:27prepare himself for a bigger payday. Now on to
- 6:30Zion McCollum, quarterback for the Tampa Bay
- 6:32Buccaneers. He inks a three -year $48 million
- 6:34deal, $35 .4 million guaranteed, and he'll be
- 6:37making $16 million a year. When we look at his
- 6:40stats from this past season, 82 tackles, two
- 6:42picks. A good deal for a productive player. This
- 6:46is what you're supposed to do if you're a really
- 6:48good GM and you're good at drafting. You take
- 6:50care of your players. Because by doing so, it
- 6:54eliminates you having to go in either free agency
- 6:57or in the draft to fill that position. Folks,
- 7:00we see a lot of times, especially in that first
- 7:03wave of free agency, where teams will be overpaying
- 7:06just to fill that void. And a lot of times when
- 7:09they do this, it backfires and actually helps
- 7:12them. Because now you're in a situation where
- 7:15you're trying to get out of this contract. Nobody
- 7:18else wants to pick up the contract. So if you
- 7:20release them, you have to take on all this dead
- 7:22cap money. But if you take all this dead cap
- 7:24money, it's going to affect the cap space for
- 7:25the next two years. So it's like, damn if you
- 7:28do, damn if you don't, essentially. But this
- 7:30is what separates the great teams from the bad
- 7:33teams. The great teams aren't always aggressive
- 7:35in free agency because why? a lot of the positions
- 7:38of need are already being taken care of internally.
- 7:41And those players are getting second and maybe
- 7:43third contracts. Whereas a bad team, they're
- 7:46having to waste a high draft pick or they're
- 7:50having to waste 20 or 30 plus million for one
- 7:53player that he probably only had one good year.
- 7:56But let's keep this thing going. So Cam Hayward
- 7:58and the Steelers finally find some resolution.
- 8:01So the Steelers are adding $3 million in incentives.
- 8:05to which he can earn up to $18 million this season,
- 8:08but they are based off the playoffs. So according
- 8:11to Steelers Now, Mike Florio broke down how these
- 8:14incentives work. So Hayward can earn $1 .6 million
- 8:18if he records at least eight sacks and the Steelers
- 8:21make the playoffs, but he can earn another $1
- 8:23.6 million if he records 11 .5 sacks and the
- 8:27Steelers win the playoff game. While I understand
- 8:30that both sides found some resolution, it still
- 8:32didn't get the job done because these are incentives.
- 8:35They're not guarantees. We're fighting for guarantees
- 8:38this entire time. So then what was the point
- 8:40in you doing all this elaborate stuff, posting
- 8:44stuff on your story, talking about how you don't
- 8:46feel valued. And every time people ask you questions,
- 8:49you come off as nonchalant and angry and how
- 8:52you talk about you've had serious conversations
- 8:54with your family and whatnot. How do you go from
- 8:57all of this? To now finding some resolution where
- 9:00it's not even guaranteed. That's what you were
- 9:03fighting for this entire time was guarantees.
- 9:06It defeated the purpose of you doing all of this.
- 9:09And I mean, the entire little media run, whatever
- 9:13you want to call it, that he was on was all for
- 9:15nothing. And I said this to somebody on TikTok.
- 9:18Shout out to OAD Loom. He's a really good Steelers
- 9:21content creator on TikTok. Me and him went back
- 9:25and forth about this because my stance is this.
- 9:28If you're going to do all of this stuff, if you're
- 9:30going to talk about how you don't feel valued
- 9:32and you go to places where you are valued and
- 9:35you're talking about that you've had serious
- 9:36conversations with your family and whatnot, that
- 9:39lets me know that you're serious. That lets me
- 9:41know that you are not stepping on the field until
- 9:43some legitimate resolution is found. Not just
- 9:47some patchwork and just saying, hey, we're just
- 9:49going to give you $3 million in incentives. Not
- 9:51really guaranteed, but it's just incentives.
- 9:54No, you are shooting for guarantees. That's what
- 9:57every player shoots for is guaranteed money.
- 9:59Because guess what? If they cut you, if you get
- 10:02hurt, if anything crazy happens, that guaranteed
- 10:05money is yours. Whereas with incentives, they're
- 10:08not. Because if you don't hit that mark, you
- 10:12don't get the money. So again. What was the point
- 10:15in you guys doing all of this? This could have
- 10:17been easily resolved prior to the draft, prior
- 10:20to free agency. Could have easily been resolved.
- 10:22So why in the world did it take from the combine
- 10:24all the way to the middle point of training camp
- 10:27to finally find out that this was happening and
- 10:30then go on this media run and saying, I'm not
- 10:33happy. You're supposed to go to places where
- 10:36you're valued. Let me tell you something. I've
- 10:38said this before in the previous episode. Now
- 10:39I'm going to say it again. If the Steelers didn't
- 10:42value you, they would have gotten rid of you,
- 10:44no questions asked. They did it to Troy. They
- 10:48did it to Heinz Ward. They did it to Ben Roethlisberger.
- 10:51You name me, any of the great Steelers, they
- 10:54have all done the same thing, and that is force
- 10:57them into retirement. They're not doing that
- 10:59to you. They're giving you the benefit of the
- 11:01doubt that they never gave to Ben Roethlisberger
- 11:03or Troy, and they won multiple Super Bowls. But
- 11:07you know, Chris Hallett from DK Pittsburgh Sports
- 11:09said this. For all intents and purposes, Cam
- 11:12Hayward should have just signed a one -year deal.
- 11:14So that way, he could come back to the table
- 11:17and get more money instead of just signing the
- 11:20deal that he signed last year. Because it defeated
- 11:23the purpose. Because it really wasn't an extension.
- 11:25Because when you really look at the structure
- 11:28of the contract, you don't have a whole lot of
- 11:31guarantees. Your guarantees is essentially a
- 11:33million -some dollars and some change. All your
- 11:36money was given into roster bonuses. And even
- 11:39then, Roster bonuses aren't really guaranteed.
- 11:42They can get rid of you before the roster bonus
- 11:45kicks in. We've seen multiple teams do it. So
- 11:49why are you complaining and saying all these
- 11:52different things? You should be worried about
- 11:54trying to win a playoff game or better yet, trying
- 11:57to win a Super Bowl. Not trying to get three
- 12:01extra million dollars in incentives. or a couple
- 12:04extra dollars just so you can be in this range
- 12:07of defensive linemen that's getting paid a lot
- 12:09of money. Who cares about that? Because guess
- 12:12what? Out of all of those defensive linemen,
- 12:14the top 10 highest paid defensive linemen, I
- 12:17can assure you that there's less than six defensive
- 12:20linemen that have either won one Super Bowl or
- 12:23at least made it to their conference championship.
- 12:25Chris Jones, Super Bowls and playoffs. Milton
- 12:28Williams, he just won a Super Bowl. Nnamdi Metabuke
- 12:31hasn't won a Super Bowl. Aleem McNeil hasn't
- 12:34won a Super Bowl. Derrick Brown hasn't won a
- 12:37Super Bowl. Quentin Williams, Jeffrey Simmons,
- 12:39DeForest Buckner, none of them have won Super
- 12:41Bowls. DeForest Buckner has made it to the Super
- 12:44Bowl, but never won it. Derron Payne hasn't won
- 12:47a Super Bowl. So out of the top 10 highest paid
- 12:50defensive linemen right now, there's only two
- 12:52that have won a Super Bowl. Think about that
- 12:55for a second here, folks. But you got somebody.
- 12:58The quote unquote leader of the team that's complaining
- 13:01about he's not valued. Man, please. But let's
- 13:04talk about this trade. So the Eagles traded for
- 13:07former Jaguars running back Tank Bixby. So the
- 13:09Jaguars receive a 2026 fifth and 2026 sixth round
- 13:13pick while the Eagles receive Tank Bixby. So
- 13:16this trade was made because the Eagles needed
- 13:18another kick returner as Will Shipley is dealing
- 13:21with a rib injury. Nothing too complex. Nothing
- 13:24to really talk about. Just a routine trade to
- 13:27address a position of need. All right. So let's
- 13:29talk about these games. All right. So Steelers
- 13:31versus Jets recap. Let's start with them. All
- 13:34right. Because I'm seeing a whole bunch of grown
- 13:36men glaze over Aaron Rodgers. One game. I see
- 13:40people say, well, I guess missing OTAs really
- 13:44wasn't bad at all. Oh, I think Aaron Rodgers
- 13:48is just doing such a great job. Stop it. Just
- 13:52stop it. It is week one, and we already seen
- 13:56people just eat up Aaron Rodgers for breakfast,
- 13:59lunch, and dinner. All right, so let's just start.
- 14:02Aaron Rodgers, 30 attempts for 22 completions,
- 14:05244 passing yards, four touchdowns, 8 .1 yards
- 14:09per attempt, and a 73 .3 completion percentage,
- 14:11but also took four sacks. Jalen Warren, 11 attempts
- 14:15for 37 rushing yards, 3 .4 rushing yards per
- 14:17carry. DK Metcalf, seven targets for four receptions,
- 14:2183 receiving yards, 20 .8. receiving yards per
- 14:24receptions, and 73 yards after the catch. Justin
- 14:27Fields, 22 attempts for 16 completions, 218 passing
- 14:31yards, one touchdown, 9 .9 yards per attempt,
- 14:34and a 72 .7 completion percentage and only took
- 14:37one sack. Brees Hall, 19 attempts for 107 rushing
- 14:41yards, 5 .6 rushing yards per carry, and four
- 14:44rushes of 10 plus yards or more. Garrett Wilson.
- 14:47nine targets for seven receptions, 95 receiving
- 14:50yards, one touchdown, and 13 .6 receiving yards
- 14:53per reception. So here's a few junkie nuggets.
- 14:55So according to NFL Pro, Aaron Rodgers completed
- 14:58eight of 10 play action passes for 71 yards and
- 15:01three touchdowns. This was tied for the most
- 15:04touchdowns on play action passes in the game
- 15:06since 2016. So my takeaway from this game is
- 15:09the Steelers won, but at what cost? Because the
- 15:12same problems that plagued them late last year
- 15:15emerged in this game. which was what? Stopping
- 15:18the run. They essentially dedicated an entire
- 15:21draft into making sure that they bolster up the
- 15:25run game. They drafted Derek Harmon, then they
- 15:28get Y .A. Black, and Jack Sawyer. Because why?
- 15:32They wanted to be better in stopping the run.
- 15:35And they didn't do that this game. From poor
- 15:37blocking, poor block shedding, and just trying
- 15:41to contain Justin Fields, this Steelers defense
- 15:44failed. And that falls on Mike Tomlin and Terrell
- 15:48Austin because they didn't do enough to adjust
- 15:51to the game. And mind you, Brees Hall as well
- 15:55as Braylon Allen were eating. You're talking
- 15:58about large gaps and they were hitting them.
- 16:01And they were getting a first down and more almost
- 16:04every single time they were getting the rock.
- 16:07So that falls on the coaches as well as the players.
- 16:12That's not good enough. Because you're going
- 16:15to be going up against teams that have really
- 16:17good run games. You're going to go up against
- 16:19the Seahawks on Sunday. They have Zach Charbonnet
- 16:22and Kenneth Walker. So the same problems that
- 16:27we saw late last year were not truly fixed. Instead,
- 16:31they were just patched over. That's not good,
- 16:34folks. And that's just the defense. I haven't
- 16:37even gotten to the offense yet. Which... Speaking
- 16:40of which, let's get to the offense. Now, I know
- 16:42everybody has been beating up on Broderick Jones,
- 16:44but I'm not going to be the person to do that.
- 16:47I'm going to be the bigger person. Let's be real
- 16:49here. Could Broderick played a better game? Yes.
- 16:53Could the Steelers have done a better job in
- 16:55trying to help Broderick Jones? Yes. All those
- 16:59things can be true. But we also have to mention
- 17:02that this is Broderick's first year at left tackle.
- 17:05So there's going to be highs and lows. So this
- 17:09is going to be the only way to find out if Broderick
- 17:11Jones is the truth or not. So they're going to
- 17:14let this play out. But if this continues on,
- 17:19if this becomes a repeated pattern for the next,
- 17:21I don't know, three weeks, then the Steelers
- 17:24are going to have to make a move. Now, are they
- 17:26going to put Andres Pita left tackle? That's
- 17:29a possibility. Are they going to trade for a
- 17:31left tackle? That's a possibility. But let's
- 17:33be real here, folks. Between Broderick Jones
- 17:35and Troy Fitanu, one of them wasn't going to
- 17:38pan out. And it's starting to look like Roger
- 17:40Jones isn't panning out. But one can ask one
- 17:44question, who failed who? Was it the organization?
- 17:48Was it Roger Jones? Was it coaching? Who deserves
- 17:51blame? Me personally, I would say everybody deserves
- 17:55some level of blame because why? You knew that
- 17:58drafting Roger Jones, he was a project. And you
- 18:02knew that by drafting a project, There is more
- 18:05risk than reward, especially if you don't have
- 18:09proper coaching in place. Now, am I saying Pat
- 18:12Meyer is an offensive line guru? No. But what
- 18:15I am saying is this. It looks a little bit weird
- 18:19if Zach Frazier, Mason McCormick, and Troy Fatano
- 18:22look actually pretty good, but Broderick Jones
- 18:25is the only one that hasn't really shown anything.
- 18:27That's a problem. But again, and that's what
- 18:30happens when you draft potential over experience.
- 18:34I'm always going to value somebody that has experience
- 18:37over potential because potential isn't always
- 18:40going to get your foot in the door. But experience
- 18:43can aid you a little bit better in that transition
- 18:47process than somebody that's just, oh, I'm super
- 18:50athletic or I'm just super raw. No, because a
- 18:54lot of times what we see is a lot of teams nowadays
- 18:57are not developing players. They're just looking
- 19:02at him and just say, hey, we're going to throw
- 19:04you into the fire. If nothing comes out in two
- 19:06or three years, we're just going to find somebody
- 19:08else. And we see it every single year. We see
- 19:12it with offensive linemen. We see it with receivers,
- 19:15quarterbacks, running backs, you name it. We
- 19:17see it every single year. So I'm not surprised.
- 19:23Going back to this game, the Steelers run game
- 19:25was just inefficient. It was inconsistent. I
- 19:28know a lot of people like myself was, you know,
- 19:30asking the same question, which is why was Kenneth
- 19:33Gainwell getting more reps than Jalen Warren?
- 19:35A little bit of a head scratcher, but I guess
- 19:38we'll have to wait until Arthur Smith says something.
- 19:40DK Metcalf looked good. I wasn't really worried
- 19:42about DK Metcalf, but I was just more worried
- 19:44about, you know, how Calvin Austin and Ben Skoranek
- 19:48and everybody else was going to look. But, you
- 19:50know. For all intents and purposes, the Steelers'
- 19:54offense did look good, okay, minus the offensive
- 19:57line problems. They did look good. Aaron Rodgers
- 20:00looked good as well. And so, yes, I'm happy for
- 20:03him that he got his revenge against the Jets,
- 20:05but I'm not going to be the person that's going
- 20:07to be waving pom -poms and saying, Aaron Rodgers,
- 20:10Aaron Rodgers, he's our man, he's our man. I'm
- 20:13not going to do that, all right? And I understand
- 20:15there's a lot of people that said, well, Aaron
- 20:18Rodgers isn't the same. He hasn't thrown anybody
- 20:21under the bus. Where is this version of Aaron
- 20:24Rodgers is just super toxic and conniving and
- 20:27whatnot. People can change. All right, relax.
- 20:31Let's please relax because I'm seeing a narrative
- 20:34that I'm not liking on social media with a lot
- 20:37of beat writers and journalists that follow the
- 20:39Steelers who are secret Aaron Rodgers fans. And
- 20:42if you're a secret Aaron Rodgers fan, that's
- 20:44perfectly fine. But do not allow your fandom
- 20:47for a player cloud your judgment and analysis
- 20:50on his play on the field. And I'll just leave
- 20:52it there because if I don't, I'm going to name
- 20:55drop and I don't want to do that yet. Let's talk
- 20:58about the Jets. So the Jets actually played a
- 21:01really good game. Pass rush was just on fire
- 21:04from the first snap to the last. All right. Justin
- 21:08Fields, I would venture to say probably at his
- 21:10best game by far. If you're a Jets fan, you probably
- 21:15have a little bit of hope this year because if
- 21:17Justin Fields played exactly how he played on
- 21:20Sunday. For the rest of the season, I guarantee
- 21:23you they'll make it to the playoffs. I guarantee
- 21:25you they'll even win at least one playoff game
- 21:27because he did everything you needed to do. He
- 21:31wasn't super aggressive. He wasn't always trying
- 21:34to run the ball. He executed the plays. When
- 21:37he needed to pass, he passed. When he needed
- 21:39a handoff, he needed a handoff. When he needed
- 21:41to extend the play, he extended the play. There
- 21:43were a lot of times where the pocket was collapsing
- 21:45and he found just enough wiggle room. And he
- 21:49got through and he extended the play two, three,
- 21:52maybe four extra yards. Now, if you're the Steelers,
- 21:55you could have had that. But you decided that
- 21:59you wanted to go with the veteran in Russell
- 22:02Wilson. And in doing so, you got the end result.
- 22:07In some ways, Justin Fields, I feel like, sort
- 22:10of took a pot shot at the Steelers, and rightfully
- 22:12so. So this is what he said in my quote. I'm
- 22:15just calling it what it is. They acquired all
- 22:17these guys in the offseason, future Hall of Famers
- 22:20on that side of the ball, and we put up 32, end
- 22:23quote. That is somebody that has had pent -up
- 22:26emotions for an entire season. You're talking
- 22:29about somebody that started off at first and
- 22:34then was just benched for no reason. and never
- 22:37had a legitimate chance to reach the field again.
- 22:40You're talking about somebody that despite how
- 22:43anybody may feel about Justin Fields' play when
- 22:46he was with the Steelers, he took it on the chin
- 22:49and he was a professional about it. Whereas somebody
- 22:52else was leaking out information to the media.
- 22:56Talking about, oh, yeah, I have problems with
- 22:57Arthur Smith. Yeah, I didn't really like his
- 23:00offense. And we really was actually butting heads
- 23:02a lot because I want to do this and he wanted
- 23:05to do that. You didn't see that with Justin Fields.
- 23:07But my hat's off to Eric Glenn for a really good
- 23:10game plan. He played a lot of man coverage. Limited
- 23:14DK Metcalf's effect on the game, while at the
- 23:16same time creating a lot of pressure on Aaron
- 23:20Rodgers. There was a lot of times where Aaron
- 23:22Rodgers had to use the quick game just so he
- 23:25can avoid getting sacked. Will McDonald was doing
- 23:28his thing against Broderick Jones, as well as
- 23:31Michael Clemens. Michael Clemens was creating
- 23:33a lot of pressure on Broderick. And shout out
- 23:36to Tanner Engstrand for a really good offensive
- 23:38plan to combat against the Steelers defensive
- 23:40line. I mean, it literally looked like Elijah
- 23:43Vera Tucker was on the field. If you would have
- 23:46told me Elijah Vera Tucker didn't play that game,
- 23:48I would have called you a liar because they were
- 23:50running the ball so well and the Steelers didn't
- 23:53have an answer for it. Not to mention, Alufashanu
- 23:56and Armin Membu was actually holding their own
- 23:58against Alex Highsmith and TJ Watt. Overall,
- 24:02although the Jets did lose, there's a lot of
- 24:05promise with this team. There's a lot of promise
- 24:08with both of their tackles. There's a lot of
- 24:10promise with that defense. I think it's only
- 24:12up for here if you're a Jets fan. And let's go
- 24:15to the Dolphins and Colts because I think they
- 24:18need a lot of hopium right now because, man,
- 24:21oh, man, Dolphins fans, oh, they are going through
- 24:25it, man. It is horrible for them. But we're going
- 24:28to get through it. So Tua Tugavailoa, 23 attempts
- 24:30for 14 completions, 114 receiving yards, one
- 24:34touchdown, two picks, five yards per attempt,
- 24:36and a 60 .9 completion percentage, as well as
- 24:39taking on three sacks. Devon Achain, seven targets
- 24:42for 55 rushing yards, 7 .9 rushing yards per
- 24:45carry, and two rushes of 10 plus yards or more.
- 24:48Tyreek Hill. Six targets for four receptions,
- 24:5140 receiving yards, 10 receiving yards per reception.
- 24:54Daniel Jones, 29 attempts for 22 completions,
- 24:57272 passing yards, one touchdown, 9 .4 yards
- 25:01per attempt, and a 75 .9 completion percentage.
- 25:04Jonathan Taylor, 18 attempts for 71 rushing yards,
- 25:083 .9 rushing yards per carry, and two rushes
- 25:11of 10 plus yards more. Michael Pittman. eight
- 25:14targets for six receptions, 80 receiving yards,
- 25:16one touchdown, and 13 .3 receiving yards per
- 25:19reception. So here's a few junkie nuggets. So
- 25:22according to NFL Pro, when under pressure, Tua
- 25:25failed to complete any of his three passing attempts
- 25:28but threw two picks from a clean pocket. Tyler
- 25:32Warren played 33 snaps at tight end, nine in
- 25:35the slot, six in wideout, and two snaps in the
- 25:38backfield. When throwing outside the numbers,
- 25:42Daniel Jones completed 10 of his 13 attempts
- 25:44for 160 yards and a touchdown. So my takeaway
- 25:48from this game is the Dolphins have to do something
- 25:52to save their season. Because right now, the
- 25:55fans are just done with them already. And this
- 25:58is only the first game, folks. It would be different
- 26:01if this was the fifth or sixth game. No, this
- 26:03is the first game of the season and everybody
- 26:05is just done with it. From the offense looking
- 26:08sloppy. to Tua just making costly turnovers and
- 26:12fumbling the ball, to just everybody just not
- 26:17being on the same page. I don't know what was
- 26:20going on, but this team just was completely dysfunctional.
- 26:25Tyreek Hill was having tantrums on the sideline.
- 26:28Tua looked like a deer in headlights. Nobody
- 26:30was on the same page. And it seemed like as the
- 26:35game progressed, the Colts realized that, listen,
- 26:38Oh, we got them in the bag. We can just do a
- 26:40few different things. And that's exactly what
- 26:42they did. Lou Amarumo was discussing different
- 26:46coverages. So I know there was like a few plays
- 26:49where he made it seem like it was a zero blitz,
- 26:51but in actuality, it wasn't zero blitz. The Dolphins
- 26:54just didn't have an answer. And at this point,
- 26:57if you're the Dolphins, well, specifically Steven
- 27:00Ross, how long is it going to take for you to
- 27:03make this decision? Because right now, Mike McDaniel
- 27:06cannot coach this team. At this point, I think
- 27:10it's just best that you just blow up this team.
- 27:12Because this team hasn't gone anywhere. Outside
- 27:15of that one year where they put up those crazy
- 27:17numbers against the Broncos, and they were super
- 27:20fast, and couldn't nobody really stop them, they
- 27:22haven't really done anything. They made it to
- 27:24the playoffs. They faced the Chiefs. Oh, we can't
- 27:27take the cold. It's too cold outside. What are
- 27:29we going to do? It's too cold outside. We can't
- 27:31handle physicality. This is a team, and Omar
- 27:33Kelly has said this. Shout out to Omar Kelly.
- 27:35He has said this multiple times on the Dolphins
- 27:38Collective, which if you're a Dolphins fan, you
- 27:40should listen to that, and on the Miami Herald.
- 27:44This team cannot take physicality. This team
- 27:47strays away from physicality. I don't know what
- 27:51it is. But if you're Chris Greer, I don't even
- 27:54know how you still have a job. Because this roster
- 27:57is not a competitive roster. This offensive line
- 28:00is not good enough to protect Tua. You know that
- 28:04Tua has a concussion problem. So why wouldn't
- 28:07you try to make at least two or three significant
- 28:10investments into the offensive line? Because
- 28:14if you don't, guess what's going to happen? Tua's
- 28:16going to get another concussion, and now you're
- 28:17trying to figure out what you're going to do
- 28:19moving forward. Granted. You traded for Minka
- 28:21Fitzpatrick. Okay, cool. But he's just one person.
- 28:24Your corners are bad. Your pass rush didn't do
- 28:26anything, even though you acquired Matthew Judon.
- 28:29What exactly, what is the bright spot on this
- 28:32team that you can say, that's something that
- 28:35we can build off of? Because right now, there
- 28:37is nothing positive to say about the Dolphins.
- 28:40They have not done enough to say, hey, we are
- 28:43a legitimate team. I would make a strong guess
- 28:47if I was a betting man. that this team wins less
- 28:50than five games this year. Now, if I'm someone
- 28:53like a Minka Fitzpatrick, I want out. If I'm
- 28:55someone like a Jalen Phillips, I don't even want
- 28:57to touch this team. If I'm anybody that is due
- 28:59for a contract, I want out. Now, speaking of
- 29:03which, there has been some rubblings, according
- 29:06to Mike Florio, that he's talked to people and
- 29:09that Tyreek Hill could be on the move soon and
- 29:12that the Chiefs or the Steelers are, you know,
- 29:15two of the teams that everyone is thinking about
- 29:17that he's probably going to go to. Let me be
- 29:19honest here, folks, and this is directly at Steelers
- 29:22fans. If all of you guys are saying that, oh,
- 29:25this is the year we can win the Super Bowl, then
- 29:27go and get Tyreek Hill in. Go and get Tyreek
- 29:29Hill. Because all I keep on seeing is a whole
- 29:32bunch of people saying, well, he has a whole
- 29:35bunch of off -field problems. Didn't nobody say
- 29:37anything about Cam Sutton. Everybody was quiet
- 29:41when Cam Sutton signed with the team. Didn't
- 29:44nobody say anything. Everybody was lips shut
- 29:48when Cam Sutton signed with his team. And we
- 29:51all know what he did. And those were allegations.
- 29:54Those were documented. Documented. Whereas with
- 30:00Tyreek Hill, he's just going through a messy
- 30:02divorce that when you go through a messy divorce,
- 30:06a lot of things that were either kept hush -hush
- 30:09or potential allegations are all going to come
- 30:12out. That's all that it is. I get it. He's a
- 30:15lot to deal with. But guess what? Sometimes when
- 30:18you get people like a Tyreek Hill, if you put
- 30:20them in the right situation, you won't hear a
- 30:23peep out of them. But that's what happens when
- 30:27there's no structure in the locker room. That's
- 30:30what happens when there's nobody that's going
- 30:32to hold him accountable. We are now starting
- 30:35to see that there really is a legitimate rift
- 30:38between him and Tua. Honestly speaking, he brought
- 30:42this on himself because why? You cannot go on
- 30:45a live stream or just better yet, public platform
- 30:49and just throw your quarterback under the bus
- 30:52every single chance that you get. If that's how
- 30:55you feel about Tua, Keep it behind closed doors.
- 30:58Let it be something that you talk about while
- 31:00you're on the way to the barter shop or while
- 31:02you're on the way to Disney World or something.
- 31:04Don't go on somebody's live stream and say, oh,
- 31:07yeah, man, I could play for maybe about two or
- 31:10three other quarterbacks than my quarterback.
- 31:12You can't do stuff like that, bro. Because guess
- 31:14what? Now that this regular season is starting,
- 31:16you don't have no real connection with Tua. Tua
- 31:19ain't really rocking with you. But let's talk
- 31:21about the Colts. So Daniel Jones actually had
- 31:23a really good game. And let's be real here. If
- 31:26Anthony Richardson did exactly what Daniel Jones
- 31:29did on Sunday, he would be the starting quarterback
- 31:32for the foreseeable future. That's all he had
- 31:35to do. You don't have to be Superman. You don't
- 31:38have to play like Patrick Mahomes or Tom Brady
- 31:40or every great quarterback. All you have to do
- 31:43is just execute. If you execute, you will always
- 31:47have a seat at the table. And that's exactly
- 31:50what Daniel Jones did. Ran the ball a little
- 31:52bit, passed the ball. Clearly, he has a really
- 31:55good connection with Tyler Warren because Tyler
- 31:57Warren came out guns blazing. I mean, from playing
- 32:00as a fullback to a slot to a tight end, he was
- 32:03just doing it all. And that was great to see.
- 32:06This offense was very productive. And I think
- 32:10this is what Chris Ballard and Shane Steigman
- 32:12have been looking for. I think there's a lot
- 32:14of promise to this offense. I think there's a
- 32:16lot of promise to this team as a whole. As long
- 32:19as Daniel Jones maintained this type of play,
- 32:22they will have a legitimate chance to make it
- 32:24to the playoffs this year. Now, as far as the
- 32:27defense, that secondary was cooking. Cam Bynum,
- 32:31Charverius Ward, Xavier Howard, cooking. That
- 32:35pass rush, Latu Latu, Quidi Pei, DeForest Bunker,
- 32:38cooking. Every aspect of this Colts team was
- 32:42cooking. And what great way to celebrate the
- 32:46life of Jim Irsay. than with a dub. Now let's
- 32:49talk about this Giants and Commanders game. So
- 32:52Jaden Daniels, 30 attempts for 19 completions,
- 32:55233 passing yards, one touchdown, 7 .8 yards
- 32:58per attempt, and a 63 .3 completion percentage,
- 33:01as well as taking on three sacks. Ja 'Cory Chrisky
- 33:05Merritt, 10 attempts for 82 rushing yards, 8
- 33:08.2 rushing yards per carry, one touchdown, and
- 33:10three rushes of 10 plus yards or more. Deebo
- 33:13Samuel, 10 targets for seven receptions, 77 receiving
- 33:16yards, 11 receiving yards per reception, and
- 33:1942 receiving yards after catch. Excuse me. Russell
- 33:22Wilson, 37 attempts for 17 completions, 168 passing
- 33:26yards, 4 .5 yards per attempt, a 45 .9 completion
- 33:30percentage, and took two sacks. Russell Wilson.
- 33:338 attempts for 44 rushing yards, 5 .5 rushing
- 33:36yards per carry, and 1 rush of 10 plus yards
- 33:39or more. Malik Nabors, 12 targets for 5 receptions,
- 33:4271 receiving yards, and 14 .2 receiving yards
- 33:45per reception. So here's a junkie nugget. So
- 33:48according to NFL Pro, Abdul Carter played 65
- 33:51% of defensive snaps in the first half, and then
- 33:5341 .4 snaps in the second half. In 25 pass rushes,
- 33:58Abdul Carter generated 3 pressures and half a
- 34:01sack. When facing four or less pass rushers in
- 34:04drop back, Jaden Daniels completed 16 of 21 passes
- 34:08for 204 yards and a touchdown. Now Jaden Daniels
- 34:12completed three of nine passes for 29 yards when
- 34:15facing the Blitz. Deebo Samuel caught seven of
- 34:1810 targets for 77 yards. Six of those catches
- 34:22for 73 yards were between the seams. So a few
- 34:25takeaways from this game. For starters, the Giants'
- 34:27pass rush has a lot of upside and is going to
- 34:29be a problem in the future. The Giants' offense
- 34:32is very stagnant with Russell Wilson. The Commander's
- 34:35O -line needs time to mesh. Commander's offense
- 34:38as a whole is going through some growing pains,
- 34:41and rightfully so. The Commander's right tackle
- 34:43really couldn't stop the bull rush. Debo's route
- 34:47running, explosiveness, and yak ability has definitely
- 34:50returned. And is it too early to possibly bench
- 34:53Russell Wilson? Granted, I understand Brian Dable
- 34:56has already said that he will start in Week 2,
- 34:59but... At some point, Brian Dable is going to
- 35:01have to make a change because this offense was
- 35:04very stagnant. He didn't have a connection with
- 35:06Malik neighbors. They couldn't run the ball well.
- 35:09And you can see that his play is starting to
- 35:12decline a little bit. Because remember, in Russell
- 35:14Wilson's heyday, he relied a lot on his athleticism
- 35:18because it was his athleticism that allowed him
- 35:20to extend the plays. So now that that's gone.
- 35:24All you have is the moon ball. And even then,
- 35:26you can't really use the moon ball every single
- 35:28time. You just can't do it. So at some point,
- 35:31Brian Dable is going to have to do something
- 35:33with this offense because this offense was just
- 35:36downright atrocious. And Malik Nabors was trying
- 35:40so hard not to crash out. But you can see in
- 35:43his face, it's like, bro, what are we doing?
- 35:46Nobody is really getting the ball. Nobody is
- 35:49making any big plays. We're not putting points
- 35:51on the board. What are we doing? And rightfully
- 35:55so. If you're Brian Dable, you're going to have
- 35:58to make a decision to save your job. I understand
- 36:01Russell Wilson is the quote -unquote veteran,
- 36:03but you may have to put Jackson Dart in. And
- 36:06I guarantee you if you do put Jackson Dart in,
- 36:08this offense will look a whole lot better. Now,
- 36:12I understand that Andrew Thomas didn't play this
- 36:14game, but... And that offensive line, a little
- 36:18bit shaky, just a little bit of a problem. Now,
- 36:22I will say this. For any Commanders fan that
- 36:24may be complaining about how the offense was
- 36:26just stagnant and they wasn't as explosive as
- 36:29how they were last year, give it some time. Remember,
- 36:32they brought in Loremi Tunsil, Debo Samuel. They're
- 36:35trying to rework Terry McLaurin in. So all of
- 36:38this is going to take some time. Now, I will
- 36:40say this. If you're the commanders, you have
- 36:43to find a way to negate these elite defensive
- 36:45lines. Because Brian Burns and Kevon Thibodeau
- 36:48and even Abdul Carter at times, they was creating
- 36:51a lot of pressure and they were getting after
- 36:53Jaden Daniels. So you have to find a way to do
- 36:56something. Whether that means you have to start
- 36:58playing in 12 or 13 personnel, or you have to
- 37:01add in a tight end to possibly chip block, you
- 37:04have to do something to slow down these elite
- 37:06pass rushers. Because if you don't, Jaden Daniels
- 37:09is going to get squashed. But I will say this,
- 37:12the commander's defense, it's going to take some
- 37:14time for them to really start cranking, but I
- 37:18think they showed a little bit of some promise.
- 37:20As far as the pass rush, I think there's something
- 37:22there, but I think it's going to take a while
- 37:24for them to really hit their peak. Same thing
- 37:25with the secondary as well, but if you're the
- 37:29commander's defense, is there another addition
- 37:32that you need to make to really solidify this
- 37:34defense? Because granted, you have Von Miller,
- 37:37you have Frankie Louvu, you have Deron Payne,
- 37:39you have Johnny Nunez, you have Marshawn Lattimore,
- 37:41who's now healthy, you have Trey Amos. You have
- 37:43a lot on this team. But is there something else
- 37:46you need to do to really solidify this defense?
- 37:49But only time will tell. Now let's talk about
- 37:51the last game, and that is the Ravens and the
- 37:54Bills. So Lamar Jackson, 19 attempts for 14 completions,
- 37:57209 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, 11 yards per
- 38:01attempt, and a 73 .7 completion percentage. Derrick
- 38:04Henry. 18 attempts for 169 rushing yards, 9 .4
- 38:08rushing yards per carry, 2 touchdowns, and 5
- 38:10rushes of 10 -plus yards or more. Zay Flowers,
- 38:1419 targets for 7 receptions, 143 receiving yards,
- 38:171 touchdown, and 20 .4 receiving yards per reception.
- 38:21Josh Allen, 46 attempts for 33 completions, 394
- 38:25passing yards, 2 touchdowns, 8 .6 yards per attempt,
- 38:28a 71 .7 completion percentage. James Cook, 13
- 38:32attempts for 44 rushing yards, 3 .4 rushing yards
- 38:35per carry, 1 touchdown, and 1 rush of 10 plus
- 38:38yards or more. Keon Coleman, 11 targets for 8
- 38:41receptions, 112 receiving yards, 1 touchdown,
- 38:44and 14 receiving yards per reception. Pardon
- 38:47the interruption, but this is your GM, your bag
- 38:49road dominance here to talk about rss .com. All

- 40:30Now back to the good stuff. So a couple takeaways
- 40:32from this game. So for starters, the Ravens'
- 40:34pass rushers couldn't get home. The Bills are
- 40:37starting to use more pre -snap motions. The Ravens
- 40:40need more lightning than thunder in the run game.
- 40:42The Bills were stacking the box while playing
- 40:44man coverage. The Ravens missed Patrick Hard's
- 40:47blocking. The Bills were disguising a lot of
- 40:50their coverage packages. The Bills secondary
- 40:52is still a question mark unless they bring in
- 40:55someone. The Bills were continuing to keep Joey
- 40:57Bosa on the left side instead of switching him
- 41:00with Gregory Russo, especially when you saw Lamar
- 41:03continuing to go on that side. We all know that
- 41:06Joey Bosa isn't fast enough to go after Lamar
- 41:08Jackson. So why wouldn't you at least switch
- 41:11him? The Ravens need to rotate their interior
- 41:14defensive line. Give Aeneas Peebles a chance.
- 41:17The Ravens need to be more aggressive. More five
- 41:21-man instead of four -man fronts, please. Please.
- 41:26This was a very winnable game for the Ravens,
- 41:28and you choked. You flat -out choked. It wasn't
- 41:33because of the refs. It wasn't because of a fumble.
- 41:35It wasn't because nobody catch the ball. You
- 41:38choked. You had the game in your pocket and you
- 41:41choked it away. And this continues to be a problem
- 41:45for the Ravens. So according to Josh DuBois of
- 41:48the Associated Press, there's only three coaches
- 41:52to lose twice in the regular season when leading
- 41:54by 15 plus points at the start of the fourth
- 41:56quarter. John Harbaugh, Webb Eubank, and Marion
- 42:01Campbell. John Harbaugh leads them all in 55
- 42:04opportunities. I'm sorry, that's unacceptable.
- 42:08At some point, you have to win the big games
- 42:11because you know that you're either going to
- 42:14have to face the Chiefs or the Bills to make
- 42:17it to the Super Bowl. And the fact that you had
- 42:19this game and all you had to do was just secure
- 42:23the lead, but you choked it away, lets me know
- 42:26that you are not the coach that is going to take
- 42:29the Ravens to the Super Bowl. I think at this
- 42:31point, we need to have an honest conversation
- 42:34about the Ravens and John Harbaugh. John Harbaugh's
- 42:38time has ran out. I understand that he's a good
- 42:42coach. I understand that he does a lot for the
- 42:44Ravens. But at this point, brother, you can't
- 42:47float. You continue to choke away opportunity
- 42:51after opportunity after opportunity. From having
- 42:54the number one seed and the Chiefs coming to
- 42:57Baltimore. You could have won that game. You
- 43:00didn't do it. You could have won last year. You
- 43:02didn't do it. You could win this year and you
- 43:05probably won't. At some point, you cannot point
- 43:08the finger at everybody else. You have to point
- 43:11the finger at yourself. This lackadaisical reserved
- 43:15play calling in the most important times of the
- 43:18game is going to cause you to lose more than
- 43:21win. And we see it every single year. We talk
- 43:25about the Ravens every single year saying, oh
- 43:28yeah, they're a Super Bowl team. This could be
- 43:30the year that they win the Super Bowl. And every
- 43:32single year, they choke on a Popeye's biscuit.
- 43:35So at some point, someone's going to have to
- 43:38say it. John Harbaugh may not be the guy. And
- 43:41that's perfectly fine. The Eagles went through
- 43:43with Andy Reid. All those years, the Eagles were
- 43:46super competitive. But when the lights were too
- 43:48bright, they choked. So at some point, they had
- 43:52to make a move. So they let go of Andy Reid.
- 43:55Andy Reid went to the Chiefs. They started the
- 43:57Chiefs dynasty. The Eagles, they won a Super
- 44:00Bowl and then went back and they won another
- 44:02Super Bowl. So at some point, you have to be
- 44:05honest and you have to say, you know what? I
- 44:07think it's just time for us to go our separate
- 44:10ways. If I'm a player, I'm calling for a players
- 44:14only meeting. No phones, no tablets, no nothing.
- 44:19Because nobody needs to know about this. And
- 44:21they just need to have a heart to heart with
- 44:23every single person in that room. Because everything
- 44:27is there. You have the team. You have the weapons
- 44:31on both sides of the ball. And you mean to tell
- 44:34me this team hasn't at least made it to one Super
- 44:37Bowl? One? It cannot be just the Chiefs and the
- 44:41Eagles just winning the Super Bowl every single
- 44:43year. At some point, somebody from the AFC is
- 44:47going to have to do something. Because it's always
- 44:50been Patrick Mahomes. So who's it going to be?
- 44:53Who is going to be the person that's going to
- 44:56hold John Harbaugh accountable? Somebody needs
- 44:59to do it. Because clearly, he is not doing enough.
- 45:02You know that Daniel Felele is a problem. I purposely
- 45:06looked at the All -22 version of that game. Daniel
- 45:10Folele is not a good guard. I'm sorry. He is
- 45:14going to lose you more games than win them. Because
- 45:17I guarantee you, if you go up against the Chiefs,
- 45:19Chris Jones is going to be his dance partner.
- 45:21And he's shown that he can't do it. And you knew
- 45:24that Daniel Folele can't do it. And instead of
- 45:27you trying to get somebody in free agency, you
- 45:30just say, you know what? We're okay with what
- 45:32we have. No. You cannot do that. And that's exactly
- 45:36why you guys continue to choke year after year
- 45:39after year after year because you know why? You
- 45:42are complacent. You want to try to give people
- 45:45a chance. You cannot do that. You are in a Super
- 45:47Bowl window. If you are not performing, you got
- 45:50to go. I love you. You'll be a part of the Ravens
- 45:53documentary. You'll be part of that whole ceremony
- 45:55when they celebrate the team and whatnot. But
- 45:57as far as all that extra rigmarole, hey, man,
- 46:00you got to go. We got to bring in somebody else.
- 46:02Simple as that. The pass rush needs more juice
- 46:05and you need to stop running it with Derrick
- 46:08Henry. There is no reason why Keaton Mitchell
- 46:10should have been on that field because everybody
- 46:13knows how to counter Derrick Henry. Stack up
- 46:16the box and just make sure you try to tackle
- 46:19him and slow him down. That's it. That's all
- 46:20you got to do with Derrick Henry. Whereas with
- 46:22a Keaton Mitchell, he got speed. He has receiving
- 46:25ability. There's more that you can do with him
- 46:27than a Derrick Henry. But you have your head
- 46:31so far up your ass that you don't realize that.
- 46:34So until the players want to actually have a
- 46:37heart -to -heart conversation with John Harbaugh,
- 46:39they will never experience winning a Super Bowl.
- 46:42They will never experience the feeling of being
- 46:46a winner. Because your coach likes to sit on
- 46:50his hands and just say, you know what, I'm okay
- 46:52with where we are. We don't need to be aggressive.
- 46:54I understand it's the two -minute warning. We
- 46:56don't need to be aggressive. Y 'all literally
- 46:58just justify why Josh Allen won the MVP. Think
- 47:02about that for a second. Here you have a defense.
- 47:04Really good defense, right? Really good defense
- 47:07of prospects. Mike Green, the Green Machine,
- 47:10Adafio Way, KVN. You know that KVN is going to
- 47:14take a while before he starts cranking. So why
- 47:17don't you put Mike Green in? Why don't you put
- 47:19in these peels in? You need to throw offenses
- 47:22off guard because if you don't, guess what's
- 47:25going to happen? You're going to get smoked like
- 47:27how Josh Allen just smoked you. So when you go
- 47:29up against the Chiefs and you choke and you lose
- 47:32again and everybody's looking at you with the
- 47:34side eye, don't be pointing fingers at anybody
- 47:36else. There's no excuse this year. And remember
- 47:40what I've been saying for the past two years.
- 47:42The two things that would stop the Ravens from
- 47:45winning it all. is injuries and self -inflicted
- 47:48wounds. And Sunday proved exactly what I said.
- 47:52Self -inflicted wounds will prevent the Ravens
- 47:56from winning a Super Bowl. There is no reason
- 48:00under the sun that this team should be losing
- 48:02like this. Now, if the game was super close,
- 48:05okay, fine. I'm not going to complain about it
- 48:08because these are two really good teams. But
- 48:11the fact that you allowed the Bills to make a
- 48:14comeback in such a small amount of time lets
- 48:17me know that you, sir, are not the head coach
- 48:20for the Ravens. Instead, all you are is just
- 48:24a cheerleader. With the clipboard. But I'm going
- 48:26to end this episode here. If you guys like what

- 51:12And another thing, the Steelers need to move
- 51:16Keanu Ben from nose tackle. He is not a nose
- 51:18tackle. You need to move him at end, put Y .A.
- 51:21Black at nose tackle, and I think you'll see
- 51:23a better result. Also, also, hot take, truth
- 51:27bomb, okay? I think the Steelers should draft
- 51:32the number one tackle in next year's draft and
- 51:35possibly trade for quarterback. I'm going to
- 51:37save that for the next episode. Peace and love.
- 51:38Later, guys.
