- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, here we are, last break of the day.
- 0:02Speaker 1: It's been a good day, it's been a good week.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Thank you all for listening. As always, Steve, come on
- 0:10Speaker 1: and take us home with your closing remarks today.
- 0:15Speaker 2: I have some really, really good information.
- 0:18Speaker 3: I'm really really pleased with this line of thinking because
- 0:26Speaker 3: everybody has them, everybody has to deal with them, everybody
- 0:30Speaker 3: faces it. It's just so many people lose the point
- 0:35Speaker 3: of it. You know, the thing about going through something,
- 0:40Speaker 3: I think you can go through something better if you
- 0:42Speaker 3: know there's a point to it, you know what I mean.
- 0:47Speaker 3: People go to the gym to work out if they're
- 0:51Speaker 3: trying to get to a certain point. The moment you
- 0:54Speaker 3: don't see the point of it, going to the gym
- 0:58Speaker 3: becomes ridiculous to you. It becomes harder to you because
- 1:03Speaker 3: all of a sudden it doesn't make sense. So what
- 1:06Speaker 3: I want to show you is how to look at
- 1:10Speaker 3: the point of something. And the thing that I'm going
- 1:13Speaker 3: to talk to you about is something that everybody faces
- 1:16Speaker 3: when they're trying to be successful, because everybody is going
- 1:20Speaker 3: to go through some difficult times. Everybody, I don't care
- 1:25Speaker 3: who you are, you're going to have some difficult times.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Everybody is going to have some challenges, challenges, difficulties, set backs.
- 1:40Speaker 3: You're going to have this, but listen to me. All
- 1:43Speaker 3: of this is part of the process to succeed. When
- 1:49Speaker 3: you are presented with these setbacks, these difficulties, and these challenges,
- 1:54Speaker 3: I want you to understand what they actually are. They
- 1:56Speaker 3: are actually tests. Everybody gets tested. The reason you have
- 2:04Speaker 3: to have the test is because tests are presented to
- 2:08Speaker 3: you to see if you're willing to go through the process.
- 2:15Speaker 3: It's merely just to see if you're willing to go
- 2:18Speaker 3: through what it takes. The challenges, the setbacks, the difficulties,
- 2:22Speaker 3: the tests are just there to see if you are
- 2:26Speaker 3: willing to go through the process. Now, in being willing
- 2:31Speaker 3: to go through the process, it assures you something that
- 2:36Speaker 3: when you pass the test and you reach your goal,
- 2:40Speaker 3: that you will have a level of appreciation for it.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I'll give you an example. Somebody use your card.
- 2:49Speaker 3: I don't recommend that they're not gonna take care of
- 2:51Speaker 3: your car the way you do it because they didn't
- 2:54Speaker 3: pay for it. They're not making a note on it.
- 2:56Speaker 3: They didn't have to struggle to get the down payment,
- 2:58Speaker 3: they didn't have to make sure they credit was right.
- 3:00Speaker 3: They didn't walk in the bank and get turned down
- 3:02Speaker 3: a couple of times, then go back and fix their credit.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Now they got up. That's why if you rent out
- 3:08Speaker 3: your room to somebody, they not gonna take care of
- 3:10Speaker 3: your room like you take care of your house, because
- 3:13Speaker 3: they didn't go through the process to get it. All
- 3:16Speaker 3: they wanted was the room because they didn't have to
- 3:19Speaker 3: fill out the credit report. They didn't go down here.
- 3:21Speaker 3: They don't have the mortgage. They don't know what it
- 3:24Speaker 3: took to have to own this house. That's why they
- 3:26Speaker 3: ain't take care of their yards because they written. Some
- 3:30Speaker 3: people who wrint don't take care of the property because
- 3:32Speaker 3: it ain't theirs. Now that's not all rents. I'm just
- 3:35Speaker 3: talking about the case of something. Because when you go
- 3:38Speaker 3: through the test, it causes you to have an appreciation
- 3:41Speaker 3: for it.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Now, the tests are necessary.
- 3:46Speaker 3: The test teaches you thinks the test provides you with
- 3:50Speaker 3: a lesson.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Test are merely lessons.
- 3:54Speaker 3: You're gonna see these tests again, and when you see
- 3:56Speaker 3: them again, they won't appears nearly as difficult because you've
- 4:00Speaker 3: already taken the test before and you've already passed it.
- 4:05Speaker 3: The test also strengthens you all these tests you haven't.
- 4:10Speaker 3: It strengthens you. It's like lifting weights. Oh it's heavy
- 4:14Speaker 3: right now. If you put them fifties in your hand,
- 4:17Speaker 3: that's heavy weight. But if you keep lifting fifties after
- 4:20Speaker 3: a while, you can lift seventies. But them fifties. But
- 4:24Speaker 3: guess what them fifties did.
- 4:26Speaker 2: That was so hard that you felt like dropping and
- 4:28Speaker 2: you needed a spot.
- 4:29Speaker 3: They made you strong. Though the tests make you strong.
- 4:34Speaker 3: The next thing that the test does for you is
- 4:37Speaker 3: it makes you experienced. Because now that you have these
- 4:41Speaker 3: tests under your belt, you know something you can turn
- 4:45Speaker 3: around and share with people how to get past the
- 4:48Speaker 3: test because you've seen them before. This is the reason
- 4:52Speaker 3: that you have challenges, setbacks, and difficulties because you are
- 4:56Speaker 3: being tested.
- 4:57Speaker 2: So when God gives you the thing that you're asking
- 5:00Speaker 2: or you will have a level of appreciation for it.
- 5:03Speaker 2: You will have learned the lessons that it takes to
- 5:05Speaker 2: maintain it.
- 5:06Speaker 3: You will have been strengthened by the process, and you'll
- 5:09Speaker 3: become experienced by the process. Here is the last and
- 5:13Speaker 3: main thing that the test does for you. These tests
- 5:17Speaker 3: that they're presented to you. Old people have said it
- 5:23Speaker 3: a thousand times. You cannot have a testimony without the test.
- 5:30Speaker 3: How can you share this experience with anybody? How do
- 5:35Speaker 3: you tell a young person what to do if you
- 5:37Speaker 3: ain't been through nothing. How can you teach me how
- 5:40Speaker 3: to play golf and you don't play golf.
- 5:42Speaker 2: It's impossible. You can't be the swim coach and you
- 5:44Speaker 2: can't swim.
- 5:46Speaker 3: I'm sorry you can't. You got to have gone through
- 5:50Speaker 3: the process. It's the process and the test that gets
- 5:55Speaker 3: you to the point. But you can't have a testimony
- 5:57Speaker 3: without a test. You'll have nothing to say in your life.
- 6:01Speaker 3: If you've never passed any tests, you'll have no story
- 6:05Speaker 3: to tell. So all of you that are being tested,
- 6:09Speaker 3: you're working on your story. Now, what story will you
- 6:12Speaker 3: tell your children? What story will you tell your grandchildren?
- 6:15Speaker 3: What story will you tell young people who need minery?
- 6:18Speaker 3: What story will you tell people who may look up
- 6:21Speaker 3: to you and they think you got something? What story
- 6:24Speaker 3: will you tell You've got to be tested to make
- 6:26Speaker 3: it happen. Pass the test, deal with them and you'll
- 6:29Speaker 3: be fine. Those are my closing remarks today. Y'all have
- 6:33Speaker 3: a great weekend.
