- 0:02Speaker 1: This is an Unspoiled Network podcast. This is spoil Me,
- 0:08Speaker 1: covering one piece episodes eight twenty three through eight twenty five.
- 0:15Speaker 1: The Emperor rolls over Rescue Brook mission, the Rendezvous, Loofy,
- 0:22Speaker 1: a one on one at his limit, and a liar
- 0:28Speaker 1: Loofy and Sonji. In these episodes, SONI finds Loofy, gives
- 0:37Speaker 1: him the food, and then it is like take it
- 0:40Speaker 1: and go, And I was like, that is not what
- 0:42Speaker 1: you're supposed to say right now, Sonji, That's not how.
- 0:44Speaker 2: This was supposed to go.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Welcome to spoil Me. Welcome to the show. Everyone. I
- 1:10Speaker 1: am Natasha.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Hello, and I'm Florida.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Yay, Florien's back. Hello, Florian, lovely to see you. So
- 1:24Speaker 1: let's do this. Why did you pick this? Why did
- 1:26Speaker 1: you pick this for the.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Live I mean, I mean these three episode have like
- 1:33Speaker 3: two big parts. I feel like it's the whole Brook rescueation.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I feel like it's like the first part, which I
- 1:40Speaker 3: love because I love.
- 1:43Speaker 1: That was so great. I cannot wait to talk about that.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Yes, and you know the second party SANGI just like
- 1:52Speaker 3: Zandie and in general maybe this art so far, but
- 1:56Speaker 3: I just really I love this whole art freak.
- 2:00Speaker 1: I mean, he's horrible, but yeah, fair, fair, fair, all right, Well,
- 2:05Speaker 1: then let's start at the beginning with episode eight twenty three.
- 2:09Speaker 1: This is by the way, I've just noticed that. Like
- 2:12Speaker 1: I don't know if this is new or if I
- 2:13Speaker 1: just hadn't clocked it before, but crunchy roll is calling
- 2:17Speaker 1: this season eleven. I don't think I ever noticed it
- 2:21Speaker 1: breaking one piece into seasons like in this way. I've
- 2:25Speaker 1: seen it done in the drop down, but see it
- 2:28Speaker 1: has season eleven episode one twenty three. But if you're
- 2:31Speaker 1: doing seasons, each season is supposed to start with a
- 2:34Speaker 1: new number. It's supposed to start from one again. But
- 2:36Speaker 1: it's fine. But okay, so the Emperor rolls over. This
- 2:40Speaker 1: is Brooks Rescue, and I this is so delightful. It
- 2:52Speaker 1: makes it makes me think of like a fairy tale
- 2:54Speaker 1: a little bit, you know, where there's like a monster
- 2:59Speaker 1: you gotta get past.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Yeah, like the whole island, this whole story arc feel true.
- 3:06Speaker 1: True, yeah, true. So first we are our friends are
- 3:16Speaker 1: trying to find anybody from this drawing that Carrot has made,
- 3:22Speaker 1: which the drawing itself. I don't feel like I talked
- 3:25Speaker 1: about this last time. The drawing is very like high
- 3:33Speaker 1: schooler drawing anime kind of vibe, you know.
- 3:37Speaker 3: What I mean. Have you heard the TERMIOI no, okay,
- 3:43Speaker 3: don't look it up. Basically, yeah, it is not going
- 3:50Speaker 3: for it's gay, That's what it is. But really okay,
- 3:54Speaker 3: not not necessarily full on sex scenes I think, but
- 3:58Speaker 3: probably there are also with scenes.
- 4:00Speaker 1: But absolutely there's got to be.
- 4:03Speaker 3: But also somewhere it's just like really like heavy petting
- 4:06Speaker 3: and stuff like that.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Gotcha, gotcha?
- 4:09Speaker 3: And I have like this kind of style, like this
- 4:11Speaker 3: really slender, yeah, not quite feminine, but definitely tweakish, yeah,
- 4:19Speaker 3: tweekish exactly.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Yeah. And it's like it's funny because the drawing. It's
- 4:25Speaker 1: not even like the drawing is bad, it's just so
- 4:29Speaker 1: so stylized. And I really love that for some reason,
- 4:33Speaker 1: she has given Brooke March Simpson hair. It's like the
- 4:37Speaker 1: complete beehive straight up to like flat sides, March Simpson curly,
- 4:43Speaker 1: wild choice, ma'am. There's something also like very Michael Jackson
- 4:49Speaker 1: about his face and the way that its structured. But uh,
- 4:53Speaker 1: you know, otherwise everybody looks pretty close to how they
- 4:57Speaker 1: really look in a lot of ways. There's just a
- 4:59Speaker 1: point your chin on Pedro, but like, he looks pretty close.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I think this is a fairly good drawing. I'm just
- 5:06Speaker 1: saying Brook is the one that I think would be
- 5:09Speaker 1: the most difficult to recognize. But you know, I don't.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I think that the thing is his face doesn't really
- 5:16Speaker 1: look like a skeleton. It looks like a regular person's face,
- 5:21Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. But anyway, so they have
- 5:27Speaker 1: to do that thing where they're asking the mirrors if
- 5:31Speaker 1: any of them has seen any of these people, and eventually,
- 5:35Speaker 1: specifically they begin to zero in on Brook and finally
- 5:39Speaker 1: one of the mirrors is like, wait, is that the skeleton? Yeah, yeah,
- 5:43Speaker 1: I see that guy. I got that guy over here.
- 5:46Speaker 1: So we head down and the fucking it's big Mom's bedroom.
- 5:54Speaker 1: And I have a question. I know that I have
- 5:59Speaker 1: mentioned this before, and I can't remember the response that
- 6:02Speaker 1: I got the anime short shorthand for like that somebody's sleeping.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Is this little bubble that's coming out of their mouth?
- 6:16Speaker 1: Is that supposed to be like drool or snot?
- 6:25Speaker 3: Is not?
- 6:27Speaker 1: Okay? Okay? I remember the first time that I ever
- 6:32Speaker 1: saw it was when I was covering Full Metal Alchemists,
- 6:35Speaker 1: and they it's a much more like it's not it
- 6:38Speaker 1: doesn't look like a bubble. It looks like a ghost,
- 6:40Speaker 1: like a tiny little cartoon ghost coming out of their
- 6:43Speaker 1: nose when they're sleeping. And at that time I remember asking, like, wait,
- 6:48Speaker 1: what is that? What's happening to him? I wasn't getting that.
- 6:51Speaker 1: That was just like, you know, the the grammar of anime.
- 6:55Speaker 1: And somebody said it was like their spirit escaping while
- 7:00Speaker 1: they were and I was like, that's are you sure?
- 7:05Speaker 3: I think that's actually I think it was actually true.
- 7:09Speaker 3: I think that they were right in Full Metal Alchemists.
- 7:11Speaker 3: But basically you get got like a double whammy of
- 7:14Speaker 3: like two weird symbolisms like sleeping and you're so leaving
- 7:20Speaker 3: the body. They basically combined it in the snot knows
- 7:23Speaker 3: and like a ghostly figure. Oh got the double whammy. Unprepared.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Yeah, this is uh. There's so much that I feel
- 7:37Speaker 1: like I still don't know about, like the shorthand with
- 7:40Speaker 1: anime and what certain things mean. And I'll never forget
- 7:44Speaker 1: my ex husband way back at this point fifteen years
- 7:50Speaker 1: he wanted me to cover fully coolly, which is the
- 7:56Speaker 1: most mystifying shit you've ever seen in your life. And
- 8:00Speaker 1: I remember I watched the first episode and there's a
- 8:03Speaker 1: point where this girl takes a sip out of a
- 8:05Speaker 1: drink of like a can of soda and then hands
- 8:09Speaker 1: it to this boy if he wants a sip, and
- 8:12Speaker 1: he is frozen and looks at the lip of the
- 8:15Speaker 1: can that she drank from, and the camera like zooms
- 8:19Speaker 1: in on it, and I'm sitting there like, what the
- 8:22Speaker 1: fuck is going on? Why? Why are they what is
- 8:25Speaker 1: so important about this can? And he's like, Oh, that's
- 8:28Speaker 1: just because she drank from it, and then he's gonna
- 8:30Speaker 1: drink from it, so like his mouth is where her
- 8:32Speaker 1: mouth was, so it's like a big thing. And I
- 8:34Speaker 1: was like oh. And it was like that kind of
- 8:37Speaker 1: thing over and overall episode and I finally was like, bro,
- 8:41Speaker 1: I can't do this. I don't get any of that.
- 8:43Speaker 1: You're having to explain like every five minutes what a
- 8:46Speaker 1: thing means. I don't know this.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Have you seen fably? I have not, actually, but I
- 8:53Speaker 3: know that you've mentioned it before. Okay, but maybe I
- 8:58Speaker 3: should check it out. I should, but I also need
- 9:01Speaker 3: to like when you speak of weird anime. I'm still
- 9:05Speaker 3: on my Shosure's Bizarre Adventure and he's in the title
- 9:09Speaker 3: Bizarre Adventure. If I've heard of.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Some things about it, Yeah, yeah, I'd be very interested,
- 9:17Speaker 1: since you are familiar with anime, how you would like
- 9:21Speaker 1: react to it? If if you would be like understanding
- 9:24Speaker 1: what I mean.
- 9:25Speaker 3: If I if I find it somewhere easy to watch them,
- 9:28Speaker 3: and then we'll give you a try.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Nice.
- 9:31Speaker 3: We'll come back to you with about that. All right.
- 9:35Speaker 1: So the whole crew is in here. We've got Big Mom,
- 9:44Speaker 1: We've got her hat Napoleon, we have Zeus and Prometheus
- 9:50Speaker 1: and Brooke, who is actually asleep, which I really love. Yeah,
- 9:58Speaker 1: it's like I think it's not me says something about
- 10:00Speaker 1: like how can he be so relaxed? And I'm like, girl,
- 10:03Speaker 1: what else is he gonna do? Like, she's literally got
- 10:07Speaker 1: her whole hand around him. It's not like he can
- 10:10Speaker 1: sneak away in that position. This isn't like sleeping next
- 10:14Speaker 1: to somebody in bed. He's wrapped in her hand. That's
- 10:18Speaker 1: how Like there's no and he has had a long
- 10:22Speaker 1: day and it has been a very exhausting one. I
- 10:25Speaker 1: am sure he has done lots of fighting. He needs
- 10:27Speaker 1: his rest. I am not mad at this.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Yeah. In go back in Sabodi when Kamye the mermaid
- 10:35Speaker 3: got kidnapped. He also like like he had job over
- 10:40Speaker 3: with Kaby and they were like, what shall we do?
- 10:43Speaker 3: And he was like, Chopper, relaxed, We need to wait
- 10:46Speaker 3: till the others arrive. And then they literally on chairs
- 10:51Speaker 3: drinking tea and chilling white when the others arrive and
- 10:54Speaker 3: freaking out and Lusco beats the ship out of them.
- 10:58Speaker 3: And yeah, as a guy, and I feel like group,
- 11:10Speaker 3: he has an attitude of things would work out.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Yeah, he's an optimist, I think for sure. Definitely. So
- 11:18Speaker 1: he's asleep and they're looking at this like, how what
- 11:22Speaker 1: are we gonna do? How are we going to get
- 11:25Speaker 1: him out of this? I wasn't expecting like Prometheus an
- 11:28Speaker 1: Zews to also be asleep in the room because they're
- 11:32Speaker 1: the sort of the way I'm seeing them is like
- 11:36Speaker 1: Arwin and Pippin for me, where it seems like they
- 11:40Speaker 1: just go with her where she goes. They're like her
- 11:42Speaker 1: pets in a much more like personal way than any
- 11:45Speaker 1: of the characters that we have seen so far, and
- 11:48Speaker 1: so them being in here with her, like, once I
- 11:51Speaker 1: thought of it that way, I was like, oh, okay,
- 11:52Speaker 1: this makes sense. But there's so Chopper is the one. First. First,
- 12:03Speaker 1: we have both Brulet and the train guy just trying
- 12:07Speaker 1: to yell through the mirror to wake big Mom up, which, uh,
- 12:12Speaker 1: I don't know why it didn't occur to me that
- 12:13Speaker 1: they would just try and sabotage this whole thing, but like,
- 12:16Speaker 1: of course they do. Yeah, and then we get one
- 12:20Speaker 1: of my favorite bits. I'm sure that there's a name
- 12:23Speaker 1: for this trope. I don't know what it is, though,
- 12:26Speaker 1: so if somebody does know, let me know. I don't
- 12:28Speaker 1: even know how to look it up. But we get
- 12:32Speaker 1: this fly that's buzzing around the room, and basically everybody
- 12:40Speaker 1: in the room has the most over the top reaction
- 12:44Speaker 1: to this fly disturbing them while they are asleep.
- 12:49Speaker 3: So I mean, granted, yeah, when a mosquito flies to
- 13:00Speaker 3: my year while I tried to sleep, bye, this is
- 13:03Speaker 3: my reaction.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Well, okay, I hate to tangent this already, and I'm
- 13:08Speaker 1: sorry everybody, but if you have listened to enough of
- 13:11Speaker 1: my shows, you know that I have a thing about moths,
- 13:13Speaker 1: and I'm really like, I hate them so very much.
- 13:16Speaker 1: They're beautiful, some moths are like gorgeous, but I just
- 13:19Speaker 1: can't take them, and I went to Marshall had a
- 13:22Speaker 1: little birthday gathering this weekend, and there were about twelve people,
- 13:29Speaker 1: fourteen people, and out of those fourteen people, two personally
- 13:36Speaker 1: inexperienced and Marshall's father, so secondhand, but still a third
- 13:41Speaker 1: person at the table who knows somebody you personally experience.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I mentioned how I hate moths, and each of these
- 13:48Speaker 1: three people had experienced a moth climbing into their ear
- 13:55Speaker 1: and getting stuck while they were asleep.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:00Speaker 1: No, I don't like I There are so many times
- 14:04Speaker 1: where I feel like my my hatred of moths is irrational.
- 14:08Speaker 1: And at this small, relatively small table of people, two
- 14:12Speaker 1: people personally and Marshall's dad, they all, I am so sorry, moths,
- 14:18Speaker 1: that is a rational fear. I've changed my stance on it,
- 14:21Speaker 1: and I think that's And one of them had to
- 14:24Speaker 1: go to the hospital and get it surgically removed from
- 14:26Speaker 1: his ear. I say surgically. It was like they had
- 14:29Speaker 1: to get like they had to kill it and pull
- 14:32Speaker 1: it out with tweezers, and it was super painful because
- 14:35Speaker 1: he was like a kid. So yeah, So anyway, now
- 14:41Speaker 1: that you have I'm sorry, I installed a new fear
- 14:45Speaker 1: in everybody's software. There a bug in the software. You
- 14:49Speaker 1: get it. But uh, you're right now that I've been
- 14:54Speaker 1: reminded of that, if I just saw this fly instead
- 14:58Speaker 1: as a moth, may they didn't react enough. Maybe they
- 15:02Speaker 1: should have gone harder. Actually, but when I bring up
- 15:06Speaker 1: the trope, what I mean is, you're looking at this
- 15:09Speaker 1: room and yes, we've got some big players in here,
- 15:12Speaker 1: but everybody's asleep. Maybe you could do this, it's fine.
- 15:16Speaker 1: And then you see them just go fucking ham on
- 15:20Speaker 1: this fly, and all of a sudden you're like, oh, okay,
- 15:24Speaker 1: So I don't know what the trope is. Where you
- 15:27Speaker 1: thought a thing was going to be doable and then
- 15:28Speaker 1: you see an example right before you're about to do
- 15:32Speaker 1: your thing and realize your idea is very dumb. But
- 15:36Speaker 1: whatever that trope is, I really like it because I
- 15:40Speaker 1: will definitely fall into the trap of being like, no problem,
- 15:43Speaker 1: piece of cake, we could do this. I will absolutely
- 15:46Speaker 1: get very cavalier about it in the plot, and I
- 15:49Speaker 1: appreciated Oda being like, oh, you guys think she's asleep,
- 15:53Speaker 1: so this is no big deal. I could sense it.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Let me just show you that this is definitely a problem.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Actually, yeah, it's great. And I love there. I mean,
- 16:07Speaker 3: we will come to it, but I think they all
- 16:10Speaker 3: are at least Carrot and Chopper have like the same
- 16:12Speaker 3: reaction when they come back out. It is like I
- 16:16Speaker 3: was scared for my life or something.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I was so scared. I was so very scared.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, accurate, accurate, yep.
- 16:26Speaker 1: So the fact that they have seen this and Chopper
- 16:29Speaker 1: is still going to go in there is honestly, Look,
- 16:34Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say this. You guys know that I
- 16:38Speaker 1: love my boy. Hold on, you get my little Jobby.
- 16:44Speaker 1: You guys know that I love my little guy. And
- 16:48Speaker 1: I wanted Chopper to succeed so bad because I love
- 16:51Speaker 1: him so much and I want the show to let
- 16:54Speaker 1: him succeed all the time. So there was a part
- 16:59Speaker 1: of me that when he fails here was very pissy.
- 17:04Speaker 1: But I also will if you love somebody, you acknowledge
- 17:08Speaker 1: their flaws and accept them. And this is very accurate
- 17:13Speaker 1: to his character. He would not be able to do this.
- 17:15Speaker 1: He would just there are some things I think Chopper,
- 17:19Speaker 1: we can rely on him and he's he's the best
- 17:22Speaker 1: dude in the world. And then there's gonna be some
- 17:24Speaker 1: stuff that I'm like, that's just not your wheelhouse. Baby,
- 17:26Speaker 1: It's okay, it's fine, and this is one of them.
- 17:31Speaker 1: So and it goes wrong like so immediately, okay, all right,
- 17:34Speaker 1: to walk us through this attempt, bring it, bring us
- 17:38Speaker 1: through it.
- 17:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I have to open.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Oh never mind, Well, I was trying to give you
- 17:49Speaker 1: the opportunity to uh to chit chat more if I
- 17:53Speaker 1: was monopolizing the conversation.
- 17:57Speaker 3: All right, I'm here for your taste. Okay, here I
- 18:04Speaker 3: I mean, Chapa goes back in there. I. By the way,
- 18:06Speaker 3: we also can talk about Brooks copy at this moment,
- 18:09Speaker 3: which is just chest case yeah double. Basically, I think
- 18:15Speaker 3: they say seaweed or something that they use for the hair.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I can't remember. It is Jimbay who makes it, though,
- 18:21Speaker 1: so seaweed would make sense. I think the fish man
- 18:25Speaker 1: using ocean ingredients.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Definitely, I mean a s QTa he is. He's stumbling up,
- 18:36Speaker 3: approaching forward. But this reminds me of also an other woman,
- 18:41Speaker 3: because we supposed I had one time to get the
- 18:43Speaker 3: key and almost sneeze. He got stun by being stead.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Oh I remember, okay, yeah, yeah. The fact that he
- 18:56Speaker 1: almost immediately has to sneeze. This is the kind of
- 19:01Speaker 1: go ahead, go ahead.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Unprovoked, unprovoked, and he deserves better. Yeah, yeah, and I
- 19:08Speaker 3: feel like he but he doesn't need smart to sacketty.
- 19:13Speaker 1: He does finally, and he tries to make it quiet,
- 19:17Speaker 1: but he'd like he's still Yeah.
- 19:20Speaker 3: It happens at the end, Yeah, oh wow, And yeah
- 19:26Speaker 3: he flies out the mirror by the way. Also, not
- 19:29Speaker 3: to get too sidetracked, but really, I don't know, I
- 19:36Speaker 3: feel kind of bad for her, Like she's on the
- 19:38Speaker 3: enemy side. She's getting basically abused in a way where
- 19:42Speaker 3: she's like, no, don't use my power, and part of
- 19:45Speaker 3: me is like, can you not turn your power off?
- 19:48Speaker 3: But he's so much funnier that she cannot.
- 19:50Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, that's a good question actually, because I
- 19:55Speaker 1: guess she can't, like because Lufy can't stop being rubber, right,
- 20:01Speaker 1: So I guess that makes sense. There are so many
- 20:05Speaker 1: different ways that the powers work, and there are the
- 20:07Speaker 1: people who can like turn into a thing, like a
- 20:10Speaker 1: whole different substance and then turn back to humans. So
- 20:14Speaker 1: in that regard, you can sort of turn it off
- 20:17Speaker 1: and go back to normal, But a lot of the
- 20:20Speaker 1: other powers don't really work like that, So yeah, I
- 20:22Speaker 1: accept that, and yeah, her trying to yell out, and
- 20:25Speaker 1: they like tie her up, and they tie up. What's
- 20:28Speaker 1: the train guy's name? Do you remember? I maintain that
- 20:32Speaker 1: this is one of the weirdest choices is that we
- 20:35Speaker 1: decided that instead of there being just like a mirror
- 20:39Speaker 1: universe little train, it's going to be a dude who
- 20:42Speaker 1: turns into a train that's going to be And it's like,
- 20:47Speaker 1: not a he doesn't seem like a homie. It's not
- 20:50Speaker 1: a train that came to life. This is a dude.
- 20:53Speaker 3: This is a dude.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Yeah, this is a very odd choice.
- 20:58Speaker 3: It is, and I don't think it's a I think
- 21:00Speaker 3: he is from the long Arm tribe and so that's
- 21:04Speaker 3: why he is.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Oh okay, but it is not even a troop. Yeah. Yeah,
- 21:12Speaker 1: it's funny that you say that, because you would think
- 21:15Speaker 1: that I'd have thought it was a devil fruit, but
- 21:17Speaker 1: it didn't even occur to me. And if you're from
- 21:20Speaker 1: long arms, like no other long arms we've met just
- 21:23Speaker 1: happened to also be like machinery. Do they How how
- 21:28Speaker 1: does this work? I have a lot of questions, But anyway,
- 21:32Speaker 1: him and Brulet both have their them. They get tied
- 21:36Speaker 1: and gagged because they are trying to yell but uh,
- 21:39Speaker 1: but yeah, so choppers. The first one goes in immediately
- 21:42Speaker 1: sneezes and almost gets slammed by Big Mom's hand coming
- 21:47Speaker 1: down on him because she uh is just blindly in
- 21:54Speaker 1: her sleep reaching out to swat what she thinks is
- 21:57Speaker 1: a fly. And I end the gradual, the gradually increasing
- 22:05Speaker 1: devastation of the bedroom because every time they do something
- 22:10Speaker 1: it provokes a response from somebody that causes like the
- 22:14Speaker 1: Florida cave in in a spot, or the walls to crack.
- 22:18Speaker 1: And then eventually, once we reach the end, it's straight
- 22:21Speaker 1: up on fire. It's just a room is like in flames,
- 22:25Speaker 1: and Big Mom has not stirred. She is asleep still
- 22:29Speaker 1: and very comfortable, it seems like, and not going to move.
- 22:33Speaker 1: And in my head, Cannon, now I imagine that she's
- 22:37Speaker 1: got like a whole wing of the house and it's
- 22:41Speaker 1: all bedrooms because she destroys bedrooms so frequently in her
- 22:46Speaker 1: sleep that they have to move her every now and
- 22:48Speaker 1: then so that they can perform repairs on the room
- 22:51Speaker 1: that she just left in shambles. So so he comes
- 22:59Speaker 1: back and then we have Carrot's attempt.
- 23:06Speaker 3: I mean, mostly what happens before she gets a little
- 23:09Speaker 3: bad because she can jump, and she has some trouble
- 23:12Speaker 3: with the snot oubble and then she falls basically down
- 23:21Speaker 3: and turns into a stuff bunny. Whether the readate.
- 23:26Speaker 1: This was so funny because she like looks up, she falls,
- 23:31Speaker 1: She looks up and she sees that Zeus is just
- 23:36Speaker 1: looking at her, but his eyes are drawn in such
- 23:39Speaker 1: a way that they're like half open. It looks like
- 23:44Speaker 1: it's drawn in a way that I could see this
- 23:46Speaker 1: as just being like looking down on somebody, you know,
- 23:49Speaker 1: like a kind of I'm better than you, and so
- 23:52Speaker 1: my eyes are hooded as I literally look down on you.
- 23:55Speaker 1: So I kind of took it as that for a second,
- 23:57Speaker 1: and I realize now it's meant to just be like
- 23:59Speaker 1: he is not awake. This is a dude who is
- 24:02Speaker 1: like half asleep still, and yeah, she just says this
- 24:07Speaker 1: weird pose and her eyes like go just plain like
- 24:12Speaker 1: black dots, like there's no animation there anymore. And she says,
- 24:20Speaker 1: He says, I guess it's just a stuffed bunny, And
- 24:24Speaker 1: I love that Nammy is out there going that's not
- 24:26Speaker 1: gonna work. And then he just goes back to sleep,
- 24:29Speaker 1: and she's like, wait, that worked. And I liked it.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I thought that was very funny. I appreciate the time
- 24:37Speaker 1: that Nammy is like this is garbage, and then it
- 24:39Speaker 1: happens and she's just like a come on.
- 24:45Speaker 3: It's rare. It is funny. Yeah, but then krot I
- 24:50Speaker 3: don't know, like HiT's a stone, And I love the
- 24:54Speaker 3: moment sus attacts her and there first she's in shock.
- 24:58Speaker 3: At the last like two frames or something, she's like
- 25:01Speaker 3: making a smiley face into the camera.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Like.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I forgot about that. I'm watching it now because yeah,
- 25:10Speaker 1: she kicks there's fucking rubble on the ground from where
- 25:14Speaker 1: Big Bomb swatted it at the fly and at Chopper.
- 25:18Speaker 1: So the place is a friggin' you know, what's the
- 25:21Speaker 1: word I want? It's like a war zone in there. Yeah,
- 25:26Speaker 1: there it is the little eye and then sticks her
- 25:28Speaker 1: tongue out as well.
- 25:31Speaker 3: What ADNK not too We don't need to talk about
- 25:35Speaker 3: her too much, but so far, what does your wife
- 25:38Speaker 3: won't carrot like like this?
- 25:41Speaker 1: Like, okay, I have grown to like her better. I
- 25:47Speaker 1: just didn't really care about her in the beginning. She
- 25:50Speaker 1: has become The thing that was frustrating for me in
- 25:58Speaker 1: a way was that it felt like she's here to
- 26:00Speaker 1: kind of be a little bit of a fighter, and
- 26:04Speaker 1: I already felt like Nammy doesn't get to do enough
- 26:07Speaker 1: and that arena and we don't get you know, it
- 26:09Speaker 1: just felt sort of like if we're going to have
- 26:12Speaker 1: to split up screen time now and watch her or
- 26:16Speaker 1: do things that I kind of wish Nami would do instead.
- 26:19Speaker 1: But Namy is, so I don't want to call her selfish,
- 26:23Speaker 1: even though I don't think that's inaccurate, but she is.
- 26:26Speaker 1: She does have more of a sense of self preservation
- 26:29Speaker 1: that would make it so that she wouldn't be a
- 26:32Speaker 1: person who instantly volunteers to do something like this. So
- 26:38Speaker 1: I also can understand why she, like why I would
- 26:43Speaker 1: have felt like we need to have somebody else in
- 26:45Speaker 1: there who will do some of the more daring stuff
- 26:50Speaker 1: or even sometimes be straight up reckless or thoughtless to
- 26:53Speaker 1: like get things to happen. And I wonder, I don't
- 27:00Speaker 1: know if this is something that I will be honest,
- 27:03Speaker 1: literally never occur to me until just now, unless it
- 27:08Speaker 1: has and I don't remember it. But do you know
- 27:15Speaker 1: how Oda determines which characters are going to go on
- 27:20Speaker 1: which missions in the books, because like something like this,
- 27:27Speaker 1: for example, if Robin were here, she could just use
- 27:33Speaker 1: her hand powers to like scoop Brook up and carry
- 27:38Speaker 1: him to the mirror, right.
- 27:42Speaker 3: What would do?
- 27:43Speaker 1: So now I'm not saying that like everything would revolve
- 27:47Speaker 1: around this one mission. I'm just saying, like, does Oda
- 27:53Speaker 1: ever plan an arc and realize, oh, I can't have
- 27:57Speaker 1: this character there because they have an ability that would
- 28:00Speaker 1: immediately solve this problem.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Yes, So, I mean, I don't know for sure, but
- 28:06Speaker 3: I think it's just a story writing against Oddar recently.
- 28:10Speaker 1: I mean it is, but it's just the way that
- 28:13Speaker 1: I have always interpreted Splitting the cruise up was simply
- 28:18Speaker 1: like a means of patting things out more. You know,
- 28:23Speaker 1: we have two entirely separate stories, and that takes longer
- 28:27Speaker 1: to tell, and that way I can buy more time
- 28:32Speaker 1: using the same cast of characters. Because there's always been
- 28:36Speaker 1: a sense for me with the way that you all
- 28:38Speaker 1: have talked about it as like he has to keep
- 28:40Speaker 1: things moving fairly slowly, And so I thought that it
- 28:45Speaker 1: was purely that, and that the choosing of whatever characters
- 28:51Speaker 1: do you know, was like based on who is with
- 28:55Speaker 1: us in the previous arc, and we have to switch
- 28:58Speaker 1: them out for the ones that are here with us
- 28:59Speaker 1: this time. I'm I'm the main one with Loofy that
- 29:02Speaker 1: he just sort of goes back and forth. But now
- 29:07Speaker 1: I'm wondering if it's like he has an arc in
- 29:10Speaker 1: mind and he has specific problems in mind, and he's like, oh, yeah,
- 29:14Speaker 1: well we can't have so and so with him for
- 29:16Speaker 1: this one because they they're going to be able to
- 29:18Speaker 1: do a thing, which I'm really just like, I might
- 29:23Speaker 1: think about that as we continue this, just if there
- 29:26Speaker 1: is anything that Frankie or Robin or Zorro could have
- 29:30Speaker 1: done in the in the mix here that would really
- 29:32Speaker 1: have changed up what happens.
- 29:35Speaker 3: M No, I see what you mean. I feel like
- 29:38Speaker 3: the speaking of the last arc specifically, I think probably
- 29:43Speaker 3: like the whole use of thing in him taking out Sugar.
- 29:48Speaker 3: I think that Oda probably like was like how do
- 29:52Speaker 3: I do that she needs to be taken out? And
- 29:56Speaker 3: probably from Afar, like if you want to have the
- 29:59Speaker 3: tension because in law don't know who she is, so
- 30:02Speaker 3: the only person able to do that will be good up.
- 30:05Speaker 3: So I think there is things that he thinks and
- 30:09Speaker 3: he's like oking on this character needs to be in
- 30:11Speaker 3: this position. But I also could say that probably so
- 30:15Speaker 3: happy accidents, let's call.
- 30:17Speaker 1: It then, Yeah, yeah, definitely anyway, just to just occurred
- 30:22Speaker 1: to me because eventually we still have the whole Brook
- 30:27Speaker 1: model Brooke decoy. It's in this little like backpack, so
- 30:33Speaker 1: it gets switched off now to Pedro, who is going
- 30:37Speaker 1: in and he's like, I'm going to get the job done.
- 30:40Speaker 1: And Pedro gets further than anybody right here where he's
- 30:44Speaker 1: actually like up on the bed and he's trying to
- 30:48Speaker 1: wake Brook up and he's shaking him, and Big Mom
- 30:54Speaker 1: shifts in her sleep and he thinks for a second
- 30:57Speaker 1: that he woke her, but it seems like no, she's
- 31:01Speaker 1: just shifting. So he takes so long. Patro is like
- 31:09Speaker 1: literally standing still, utterly, still going I've got to do
- 31:13Speaker 1: this quickly. I don't have much time. I need to
- 31:18Speaker 1: act fast before she awakens. And it was so funny,
- 31:23Speaker 1: like it just he says all of this whilst being
- 31:25Speaker 1: stock still, and I'm like, sir, can you can you
- 31:27Speaker 1: get a move on? You're the one saying that we
- 31:29Speaker 1: don't have time for this, please, And so we get
- 31:34Speaker 1: then him like grabbing Brooke and simply leaping through the
- 31:37Speaker 1: mirror and I'm like, oh, okay, done. But then we
- 31:40Speaker 1: have this moment of everybody like cheering him on, and
- 31:44Speaker 1: it's got this glossy, sort of fuzzy filter over it.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:50Speaker 1: I was like, oh, no, okay, so what's about what's
- 31:53Speaker 1: about to happen here? Can I please call you a
- 31:56Speaker 1: Paige paid bro or something like that? And Brooke calls
- 32:00Speaker 1: him his savior. But then yeah, Pedro in the present, Okay,
- 32:08Speaker 1: I'm ready to do this, and he opens his eyes
- 32:11Speaker 1: just in time to see a literal fist coming down
- 32:16Speaker 1: and like, big mom, it's not just that. She is
- 32:18Speaker 1: also like, oh she's a large woman, but she's got
- 32:21Speaker 1: rings on every single finger, so he'd have been smashed
- 32:26Speaker 1: like a bug. So yeah, he has to uh go back,
- 32:34Speaker 1: and they watch as Brooke weirdly like falls out of
- 32:39Speaker 1: her grip onto the floor. So now it's NAMMY's turn,
- 32:46Speaker 1: and she pulls the backpack on and runs out there
- 32:50Speaker 1: and she's like, hey, Brooke, wake up, and he turns
- 32:54Speaker 1: and looks at her and she's like, hey Brooke, it's me,
- 32:58Speaker 1: not me, and then flatif cooy pokes out from her
- 33:04Speaker 1: shoulder and he screams and just says, I'm scared you guys.
- 33:12Speaker 1: I should I'd like that shit got me so bad.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I love he's always acting.
- 33:19Speaker 1: He's great, Yeah, really really good.
- 33:24Speaker 3: It's just a good reminder lately, the fact that Brooke
- 33:27Speaker 3: is scared of skeleton and terrific. This is such a
- 33:32Speaker 3: genius means odas Park as well. Yes, it's perfect.
- 33:38Speaker 1: So Big Mom at this point is fed the fuck
- 33:43Speaker 1: up with this fly that keeps waking her up, and
- 33:47Speaker 1: she reaches up and grabs Prometheus and just yanks this
- 33:53Speaker 1: entire being down onto the floor, like to kill this
- 33:59Speaker 1: fucking bug. And just in time, Jim Bay runs up
- 34:04Speaker 1: in there, grabs both Nammy and Brook and yanks her through,
- 34:11Speaker 1: like yanks them through the mirror, and they leave the
- 34:14Speaker 1: decoy behind. The decoy is on the floor, and I
- 34:22Speaker 1: am kind of wondering if the room is on fire,
- 34:26Speaker 1: will it burn enough that she'll think that's actually Brooke
- 34:30Speaker 1: that like died in the fire. Perhaps that could work
- 34:35Speaker 1: in our favor potentially. I don't know. I don't have
- 34:41Speaker 1: a good grasp on how smart in certain ways Big
- 34:48Speaker 1: Mom is.
- 34:50Speaker 4: Do you know what I'm saying.
- 34:52Speaker 3: I mean, he doesn't gonna talk about her a little bit. Yeah,
- 34:57Speaker 3: And don't be honest, I cannot I'm not gonna say
- 34:59Speaker 3: to much honestly, because I feel like you have more
- 35:02Speaker 3: to see. Okay, I cannot say too much, but you
- 35:05Speaker 3: can give me your interpretations so far if you.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Like, like we could talk a little bit about her,
- 35:10Speaker 1: And by we, I mean you, because I can't say anything.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Yeah, basically, well it's just so far.
- 35:21Speaker 1: I've been pleasantly surprised at just how competent she is
- 35:26Speaker 1: in a basic way, because so often these big villains
- 35:31Speaker 1: are fucking morons on a number of levels, but they
- 35:34Speaker 1: just happen to be really strong or they have really
- 35:37Speaker 1: good like number two people, and so they don't wind
- 35:41Speaker 1: up suffering the consequences of their own really bad decisions
- 35:45Speaker 1: and bad leadership. But Big Mom is so interesting because
- 35:49Speaker 1: she has this incredible power that is very very intimidating,
- 35:55Speaker 1: but also she has used it to like make this
- 36:00Speaker 1: place like more pleasant for a lot of people to
- 36:03Speaker 1: live in. So she build up this good will in
- 36:08Speaker 1: her people, and that is just the thing that you
- 36:11Speaker 1: don't see very often with a villain. You know, not
- 36:15Speaker 1: to say that there aren't folks on like the other
- 36:17Speaker 1: islands and stuff that are being exploited by her, because
- 36:20Speaker 1: they are, but the folks that are closest to her
- 36:22Speaker 1: that we are most likely going to have to deal
- 36:24Speaker 1: with immediately all seem to like her, and they don't
- 36:28Speaker 1: really seem to resent her control or anything. They seem
- 36:32Speaker 1: to feel like she is doing right by them as
- 36:37Speaker 1: somebody in charge.
- 36:39Speaker 3: I mean, we all get the economics of this, but
- 36:43Speaker 3: as far as weasy, they basically get free housing, probably
- 36:47Speaker 3: a lot of food, and they have to give like,
- 36:50Speaker 3: I think one month of their life every six months,
- 36:54Speaker 3: something like that.
- 36:56Speaker 1: And I mean, in this economy, you know, that's not
- 37:00Speaker 1: a bad trade. We are we have a much worse
- 37:03Speaker 1: trade with the amount of life we have to uh
- 37:05Speaker 1: to give up here in the United States, considering our
- 37:08Speaker 1: healthcare situation. So I heard, I listen, we're not going
- 37:15Speaker 1: to talk about all that. We aren't gonna do it
- 37:18Speaker 1: because my insurance is already like six hundred dollars a
- 37:23Speaker 1: month and it's gonna go up next year, and I
- 37:25Speaker 1: genuinely don't know what we're gonna do. So you know,
- 37:29Speaker 1: it's all fun. It's all very great and fun and fine.
- 37:34Speaker 1: So yeah, it's just a in that sense. I really
- 37:38Speaker 1: like it because so often, you know, villains will be
- 37:41Speaker 1: like oppressing the people below them in a way that
- 37:45Speaker 1: it just is very much giving. It's only a matter
- 37:48Speaker 1: of time until these people push back against you. Don't
- 37:51Speaker 1: you see that You are like digging your own grave here,
- 37:56Speaker 1: you know. And the fact that she has got so
- 38:00Speaker 1: I don't even want to say so many people fooled
- 38:03Speaker 1: so much as she is giving them what they want
- 38:07Speaker 1: in a an everyday immediate sense enough that she would
- 38:12Speaker 1: have their support if it came down to it. I
- 38:16Speaker 1: don't really know, like if there were ever a point
- 38:19Speaker 1: where we needed to turn the people against her, how
- 38:21Speaker 1: that would even be accomplished. But so on that level, yeah.
- 38:28Speaker 3: It feels like in different to Dress Rosa. Other people
- 38:31Speaker 3: here know what they're getting into in a way. Yeah,
- 38:35Speaker 3: basically that they made they didn't know what was happening,
- 38:39Speaker 3: that is clear.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Yeah, Dress Rosa, they were like fed this whole lie
- 38:43Speaker 1: and then memories were messed with and all kinds of
- 38:47Speaker 1: weird shit. So it was all like a huge deception.
- 38:53Speaker 1: And this it's just more like, well, I'll exploit other people,
- 38:58Speaker 1: but not you. So as long as you're cool with that,
- 39:02Speaker 1: and as we know from living in the world, most
- 39:06Speaker 1: people are cool with that, like genuinely so yeah, so
- 39:14Speaker 1: that in that sense, I feel like she's just smart
- 39:19Speaker 1: with her long term thinking. She keeps wanting more power,
- 39:24Speaker 1: and I'm not really sure what she wants. Like I
- 39:27Speaker 1: know that she wants to make people giant because she
- 39:31Speaker 1: wants to have like friends her own size. I guess
- 39:34Speaker 1: I don't even know if that's her real That's just
- 39:38Speaker 1: the only thing that I know of that is something
- 39:40Speaker 1: that she wants but doesn't have. And I know that
- 39:44Speaker 1: she wants Germa's army, but I don't really know what
- 39:46Speaker 1: that would do.
- 39:50Speaker 3: So she also likes treasure and she has the Ponted lips,
- 39:55Speaker 3: So there are some things that she wants. She has
- 39:58Speaker 3: like all these libraries of these weird creatures.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, it's weird though, because it's like that's all
- 40:08Speaker 1: kind of personality stuff but not really like big motivating
- 40:12Speaker 1: factor stuff, you know what I mean. So it's still
- 40:16Speaker 1: difficult for me to like to say what it is
- 40:20Speaker 1: exactly she's after ultimately, and maybe she doesn't know, because like,
- 40:27Speaker 1: let's be real, how many people out there are just
- 40:29Speaker 1: out there just trying to get more powerful because that's
- 40:31Speaker 1: the thing, and they don't really want anything specific. They
- 40:36Speaker 1: just want power because of it's fun like, of course
- 40:40Speaker 1: I want power. What do you mean why would I not?
- 40:43Speaker 1: So it could just be that simple, is that she's
- 40:45Speaker 1: simply like power hungry. She's hungry in every sense, honestly
- 40:52Speaker 1: a vine with that.
- 40:56Speaker 3: Yeah, And also.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Like I'll be honest, guys, I have a hard time
- 41:03Speaker 1: disliking her in a larger way. She's just so like
- 41:10Speaker 1: weirdly cheery about things, you know. Even when she's captured Brooke,
- 41:17Speaker 1: She's like, look at you, You're like a little miracle.
- 41:22Speaker 1: This is so cool, and it's such a funny, like,
- 41:27Speaker 1: you know, she's just delighted by him, and it's like,
- 41:30Speaker 1: I'm not giving you up. You're rat as hell, And
- 41:36Speaker 1: I enjoy that attitude. I've always responded to that kind
- 41:39Speaker 1: of reaction in people, you know. So I have found
- 41:45Speaker 1: her to be the most likable villain in a weird
- 41:48Speaker 1: sense that we have faced Adam.
- 41:53Speaker 3: Yeah, ye, speaking of Rooks, Like how fascinating she is
- 42:01Speaker 3: by him. I heads off to him. He made it happen,
- 42:06Speaker 3: like they get him out, okay, yes, and then he
- 42:11Speaker 3: reveals that he got the job down in the most
- 42:14Speaker 3: casual manner.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Ever.
- 42:16Speaker 1: It's so funny because I really thought like, wait, did
- 42:20Speaker 1: I miss something? Because he just hands it to Nami
- 42:22Speaker 1: and walks away and then the camera lingers on her
- 42:26Speaker 1: like completely dumbfounded face. And I was like, Okay, I
- 42:29Speaker 1: didn't miss anything. This is supposed to be this kind
- 42:32Speaker 1: of reveal to me also, and I was like, Okay, phew,
- 42:35Speaker 1: because I had a moment of like, there's no way
- 42:38Speaker 1: that I missed him actually succeeding in getting this thing.
- 42:41Speaker 1: How would that even work? And yeah, he managed to
- 42:45Speaker 1: like take a rubbing of the whole thing just before
- 42:49Speaker 1: big mom burst in on him, which remarkable.
- 42:55Speaker 3: Yes, I mean he's really fast, he is.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Yeah, he kept his eyes on the price the whole time.
- 43:05Speaker 3: And I mean the reveal that he had started in
- 43:08Speaker 3: his head because they checked all his clothing and everything.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Okay, we need to talk about this.
- 43:17Speaker 3: Okay.
- 43:20Speaker 1: I know that you that you're like not supposed to
- 43:23Speaker 1: spoil me on stuff. Okay mm hmm. I'm going to
- 43:26Speaker 1: ask you to make a tiny exception just for this
- 43:30Speaker 1: one thing. Does him being able to open up his
- 43:36Speaker 1: head and put things inside it come up? Often?
- 43:41Speaker 3: We have seen it before? Have we we have? When?
- 43:45Speaker 1: What was it?
- 43:46Speaker 3: In Frilla Bark He has a recording of his whole
- 43:51Speaker 3: crew when they died, they sang and being screwed the
- 43:56Speaker 3: last time, Like he has a shell like from Skypiard
- 43:59Speaker 3: like the right he has that in his head basically
- 44:04Speaker 3: and on Prilla Bark at the end when he joins
- 44:07Speaker 3: the crew, he basically takes it out his head and
- 44:10Speaker 3: plays it for them, And that's when we get to
- 44:13Speaker 3: the boom flashman.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Okay, but you're saying he basically takes it out of
- 44:18Speaker 1: his head?
- 44:19Speaker 3: Is it? This?
- 44:21Speaker 1: Is it animated like this where a big section of
- 44:23Speaker 1: his head just slides off to the side, Like, Okay,
- 44:27Speaker 1: I don't remember that.
- 44:29Speaker 3: Okay, it has been four hundred episode like Frida Bark
- 44:33Speaker 3: is like three hundred and ninety or something.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Wow, Well, yeah, I did not remember. And I love
- 44:43Speaker 1: this very much.
- 44:45Speaker 3: He comes up rarely, but it is a gift when
- 44:47Speaker 3: it comes up.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Yeah, this is like the equivalent like you know, were
- 44:53Speaker 1: I in Brooks position and I had to hide something
- 44:55Speaker 1: that was like you know, where I would put it cleavage.
- 45:00Speaker 1: You don't even know how much I can fit in here, guys.
- 45:02Speaker 1: It is wild. I can put an I could put
- 45:06Speaker 1: like more than one probably I could fit about three
- 45:11Speaker 1: iPhone max in my bra and you would never be
- 45:15Speaker 1: able to even see the outline of the phone because
- 45:18Speaker 1: they're just you would never suspect. So unless you put
- 45:22Speaker 1: me through one of those metal detectors, are the things
- 45:24Speaker 1: at the airport, you would just not know. So I
- 45:27Speaker 1: just really I enjoy anytime somebody has got just a
- 45:31Speaker 1: thing that is inherent to their anatomy that makes it
- 45:33Speaker 1: so that they can do something weird. And I want
- 45:37Speaker 1: this to be a thing much more often because it's
- 45:41Speaker 1: so strange. And you could also have some real fun
- 45:45Speaker 1: stuff where like if he's got something that lights up
- 45:48Speaker 1: inside his head and then there's light pouring out his
- 45:50Speaker 1: eye sockets and how crazy that would look, or you know,
- 45:53Speaker 1: something that rattles around and that's how you could tell
- 45:56Speaker 1: Brooks coming is because of this weird rattling, or know,
- 46:00Speaker 1: there's there's a lot, a lot of potential in there.
- 46:04Speaker 3: Definitely, all right, Do you do you want to talk
- 46:09Speaker 3: more about the Brook part or do you think.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I think we're good?
- 46:15Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 46:16Speaker 1: I think like this this these three episodes altogether, most
- 46:21Speaker 1: of the story is about Sanji, but it's not really
- 46:26Speaker 1: anything new, you know, So I feel like the Brook
- 46:31Speaker 1: part talking more about it even though it's only part
- 46:33Speaker 1: of the first episode out of the three, makes sense
- 46:36Speaker 1: ultimately because Sonji stuff, It's going to be very easy
- 46:39Speaker 1: to talk about.
- 46:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I think the particular things is in
- 46:43Speaker 3: the second.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Episode actually, so oh might be okay.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Yeah, And also like we can go to Sanchi. I like,
- 46:53Speaker 3: Luf has a fight before but mm hm not who cares?
- 46:56Speaker 1: But I mean, I mean who cares?
- 46:59Speaker 3: Yeah. But the one thing that I'm gonna say is
- 47:02Speaker 3: in fact, just that we see in fact the power
- 47:05Speaker 3: of the Big mount pirates as a whole, because yes,
- 47:10Speaker 3: Lucy beats them, but he is tired, he's worn out,
- 47:14Speaker 3: you know, like like and normally literally he takes out
- 47:18Speaker 3: out these boons not having to sweat at all, and
- 47:23Speaker 3: here it is kind of different because they are built different,
- 47:26Speaker 3: which I like to you know, it is an emperor.
- 47:29Speaker 3: It is one of the strongest people.
- 47:30Speaker 1: So yeah, definitely he's facing up against different they're built different.
- 47:36Speaker 1: And also you know, we're meant to see him just
- 47:38Speaker 1: like his energy is winding down really bad. So they
- 47:43Speaker 1: are stronger than usual and he's weaker than usual, and
- 47:47Speaker 1: all together it just makes it very difficult, and he
- 47:50Speaker 1: still winds up like coming out on top. But he
- 47:53Speaker 1: comes out on top and then like can't move or
- 47:57Speaker 1: do anything because he's so fucked up that he just
- 48:00Speaker 1: has to sit where he's where he's been laid out.
- 48:06Speaker 3: Yeah. So yeah, no, he said, Okay, if we go.
- 48:10Speaker 1: To the Yeah, yeah, absolutely, let's do it.
- 48:13Speaker 3: I mean there are some smaller moments in between. If
- 48:16Speaker 3: we have time, we can come back to death, you know,
- 48:21Speaker 3: like like Sanji is running to Lufy he gets attacked
- 48:25Speaker 3: by a dog.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Oh my god, you guys. So I sat down and
- 48:31Speaker 1: watch this. I had just made myself something to eat,
- 48:33Speaker 1: and you know how they play like the previously on
- 48:36Speaker 1: those scenes, you know, at the beginning, and it was
- 48:39Speaker 1: so funny. I had my plate and I'm settling down
- 48:42Speaker 1: on the couch and Arwyn comes right over and tries
- 48:45Speaker 1: to stick her whole face in my food, and I'm
- 48:48Speaker 1: shoving her back, and just as I do that, the
- 48:52Speaker 1: flashback is of Sanji going, no, that's not that food's
- 48:56Speaker 1: not for you, and I was just like, thank you
- 48:59Speaker 1: for the sists, Sanchi, you were very correct. And then
- 49:03Speaker 1: like very later we run into an actual dog trying
- 49:07Speaker 1: to steal from him, and I was like, all of
- 49:08Speaker 1: us are having the same problem today. We're all going
- 49:11Speaker 1: through it. I appreciate it too that it's not Sanji
- 49:14Speaker 1: just like fighting with this dog and being like, fuck
- 49:16Speaker 1: you dog. He's like genuinely, hey man, I'm sorry, but
- 49:20Speaker 1: I can't give you this. He seemed to feel sad
- 49:23Speaker 1: about it.
- 49:25Speaker 3: I mean, honestly, the dog can just go and eats
- 49:28Speaker 3: on wall over there or a hydrink. I don't know.
- 49:32Speaker 1: I forgot about how many things are made of food here,
- 49:35Speaker 1: but yeah, you're right, although you know, he better not
- 49:37Speaker 1: eat any chocolate at least this isn't like the chocolate town.
- 49:40Speaker 3: But yeah. So Sanchi is running and running and he
- 49:48Speaker 3: arrives at the battle scene basically, and there are a
- 49:50Speaker 3: lot of people around, like I don't know. They are
- 49:53Speaker 3: like at least two people that Sanchi goes up to
- 49:56Speaker 3: him from behind. It looks like blufy, like laying on
- 49:58Speaker 3: the ground, and then.
- 49:59Speaker 1: She gets like, it's really that. I caught me so
- 50:02Speaker 1: off guard, and I was cracking because they all have
- 50:04Speaker 1: the straw hats on, like hiding their faces.
- 50:07Speaker 3: But it's funny. I found it funny, genuinely.
- 50:10Speaker 1: Yes, the first time he turns somebody over, I went
- 50:16Speaker 1: for a second. I was like, why does he look
- 50:17Speaker 1: like that? And then I was like, oh my god,
- 50:19Speaker 1: it's not loufy, and then I started cracking up a
- 50:21Speaker 1: little bit.
- 50:21Speaker 3: So yeah, I agree, he's listening and hearing the growling
- 50:32Speaker 3: of Loofy's stomach. Then finds him and yeah, I just
- 50:36Speaker 3: what do you think of this scene or like the
- 50:39Speaker 3: first part, like let's say that, yeah, the first meeting.
- 50:45Speaker 1: Let's say okay, just like when he first gets there. Well,
- 50:48Speaker 1: first of all, I do want to address Loofy is
- 50:52Speaker 1: animated so as to look like an old man. Yeah,
- 50:56Speaker 1: it's sort of weird because I get what we're doing here.
- 51:00Speaker 1: He says something about how like I thought I was
- 51:01Speaker 1: going to shrivel up. I think it's like the word
- 51:04Speaker 1: that they use, so it's it's it's just odd because
- 51:12Speaker 1: you know, we've seen Loofy when he's been like really
- 51:15Speaker 1: exhausted or when he has needed to eat before, and
- 51:19Speaker 1: I don't remember ever being depicted in this way, and
- 51:23Speaker 1: so now that it's a very like food specific thing
- 51:28Speaker 1: that we're doing, that is the way that we're using
- 51:33Speaker 1: the animation to show what that means for him, and
- 51:38Speaker 1: it's just an odd choice. Do you know what I'm saying.
- 51:46Speaker 1: I just we've never seen this ever, of the way
- 51:51Speaker 1: that his lips are like curved in, like he's got
- 51:55Speaker 1: no teeth left, like they would draw an old man.
- 51:57Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 51:58Speaker 3: Yeah, is this maybe Lucy that's worst. But I cannot
- 52:06Speaker 3: say it's specifically why they Jos. I mean he could
- 52:11Speaker 3: come down to what else they're going to do at
- 52:14Speaker 3: this time. Yeah, well they have done already so much,
- 52:18Speaker 3: so I mean to find new ways is maybe difficult,
- 52:23Speaker 3: but I cannot tell you why. It's specifically an age thing.
- 52:26Speaker 3: But I agree it is like they'll make him older
- 52:31Speaker 3: or look older, like old specifically, not just old.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I kind of think, like if I was going
- 52:40Speaker 1: to be thinking about how he'd look when Sanchi found him,
- 52:44Speaker 1: I think I have expected, if we're doing specifically that
- 52:48Speaker 1: he is super hungry, that it would be that Lufy
- 52:53Speaker 1: is like really skinny, like a starving kind of look
- 52:59Speaker 1: to him, the way that in Sanjy's flashbacks that he
- 53:04Speaker 1: looked when he was starving as a kid on that island,
- 53:07Speaker 1: you know, And like Lufy's face is quite gaunt. So
- 53:13Speaker 1: maybe that is kind of what they're going for and
- 53:16Speaker 1: it just comes across as looking like, you know, actually elderly.
- 53:22Speaker 1: But anyway, I just wanted to mention that because it
- 53:25Speaker 1: was so it was so different than what we have
- 53:28Speaker 1: seen so far. But sorry, guys, if you can hear,
- 53:32Speaker 1: Arwen is outside playing with Pippen and having a great time,
- 53:36Speaker 1: I think, but it's so weird. I've never like Pippen
- 53:39Speaker 1: just doesn't bark, and Arwin almost never barks, but when
- 53:44Speaker 1: she does, it's always because she's chasing something and having
- 53:47Speaker 1: the best time she's ever had in her life, so
- 53:50Speaker 1: I can't get mad when she does it. So Soanji
- 53:56Speaker 1: finally finds him and he's like leaning up against this
- 54:00Speaker 1: like a piece of rubble or something building.
- 54:04Speaker 3: What is it? It's King bowb This is the crops
- 54:08Speaker 3: of King Bow is it? Yes?
- 54:11Speaker 1: Oh my god, I didn't even notice. Sorry, King Baum,
- 54:15Speaker 1: sorry about it. And he it's like a long moment
- 54:23Speaker 1: of him just taking in the fact that Luvy is
- 54:24Speaker 1: in such bad shape. And then Lufy starts sniffing the
- 54:30Speaker 1: air like a freakin' dog that knows you're making bacon.
- 54:36Speaker 3: And do you know these videos where it's like there's
- 54:39Speaker 3: a blanket and they put something a cookie there, and
- 54:42Speaker 3: then you feel like a peak like like this, an
- 54:48Speaker 3: outcomes from under the blanket and it's just like.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Oh oh, you've got me wanting to go on on
- 54:55Speaker 1: animal TikTok now very much. I love that shit.
- 55:00Speaker 3: It is like the only reason to wake up. This
- 55:03Speaker 3: was neck Amen.
- 55:06Speaker 1: There was a video I saw recently and it was
- 55:08Speaker 1: the dog's like snout going through a blanket and they're
- 55:12Speaker 1: holding a piece of hot dog, and then just as
- 55:15Speaker 1: the dog's lips touched the hot dog, they switch it
- 55:18Speaker 1: out for a carrot, and you see the dog just
- 55:21Speaker 1: like spit the carrot on, just be like and they
- 55:24Speaker 1: do it like three times in a row till finally
- 55:26Speaker 1: the dog puts his whole head through the planket just
- 55:28Speaker 1: to be like, what is happening? He's so irritated, And
- 55:31Speaker 1: then they give him the hot dog, but they just
- 55:33Speaker 1: trick him a bunch of times first, and I just
- 55:35Speaker 1: found that very funny.
- 55:38Speaker 3: It is funny. It is funny.
- 55:41Speaker 1: So he drops the basket and tells Lufy, you can
- 55:46Speaker 1: have whatever you can salvage. I dropped it a bunch
- 55:50Speaker 1: of times and it got rained on. So it's just
- 55:55Speaker 1: another failure in a long line of failure, and there's
- 56:03Speaker 1: a scene where we cut away to his family in
- 56:06Speaker 1: the midst of all this. Yeah, real weird energy. Yes,
- 56:13Speaker 1: now I think that it's supposed to just be that
- 56:16Speaker 1: they were like drinking with all these babes but they
- 56:19Speaker 1: passed out. But it's very much giving that, like we
- 56:22Speaker 1: got these women drunk and then sexually assaulted them. You know.
- 56:25Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not like it's not this not this show
- 56:33Speaker 3: at all bad. Yeah, and if it can be a
- 56:38Speaker 3: different show that would do HBO.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, it's it's a weird thing whenever something that
- 56:46Speaker 1: you're like, I know that you didn't mean it this way,
- 56:49Speaker 1: but you cannot avoid that this imagery looks like X
- 56:55Speaker 1: y Z. There was a watch commercial. It was like
- 57:01Speaker 1: an ad in a magazine. It was a still frame
- 57:05Speaker 1: that got absolutely like everybody up in arms because it
- 57:10Speaker 1: was this guy like holding a woman's head who was
- 57:15Speaker 1: sort of lowling and like literally pouring liquor down her
- 57:19Speaker 1: throat and then but his watch is like kind of
- 57:22Speaker 1: facing the camera and it's a it's a commercial for
- 57:26Speaker 1: a watch, but he's like forcing alcohol down. It was
- 57:31Speaker 1: the weirdest choice, and like, rightfully, everybody was like what
- 57:35Speaker 1: were you fucking thinking? What were you thinking? Do you see?
- 57:40Speaker 4: Why would you think.
- 57:41Speaker 1: This is something like? And uh, all I could think
- 57:43Speaker 1: was like, maybe this was the plan to get everybody
- 57:45Speaker 1: so pissed. You know that you get it circulated.
- 57:51Speaker 3: I know that already some weird marcles out there.
- 57:55Speaker 1: It's true. Yeah, But anyway, the the thing about it
- 58:01Speaker 1: that's so weird is just knowing, like, I don't think
- 58:04Speaker 1: that's what you intended, but it's it's unavoidable that there's
- 58:08Speaker 1: like a certain when you've got a bunch of dudes
- 58:11Speaker 1: that are accepted as just evil men hanging out and
- 58:16Speaker 1: the woman, just before she passes out, says, you're not people,
- 58:21Speaker 1: you're some kind of weird monsters. It feels like she's
- 58:24Speaker 1: commenting on a thing that just happened that she had
- 58:27Speaker 1: to see or experience. You know, it's a weird thing.
- 58:32Speaker 1: And what I thought, I'm gonna be honest, I was
- 58:35Speaker 1: a little disappointed because what I thought we were gonna
- 58:37Speaker 1: get here. I thought it was gonna be a reveal
- 58:42Speaker 1: that like the what's the King of German's name? Judge? God, Yeah,
- 58:50Speaker 1: I thought it was gonna be a reveal that he
- 58:52Speaker 1: had his own plan for taking out all of Big
- 58:56Speaker 1: Mom's family at the wedding, that it's gonna be like
- 59:00Speaker 1: each of them is planning to double cross the other
- 59:04Speaker 1: in almost identical ways, and they each are like very proud.
- 59:08Speaker 1: The other doesn't know. But it's pretty much just him
- 59:13Speaker 1: and his sons celebrating that they have found a way
- 59:16Speaker 1: to use Soanji effectively to get what they want. So
- 59:21Speaker 1: the marriage, it's like exactly what it looks like on
- 59:24Speaker 1: their end where they just want this alliance.
- 59:27Speaker 3: You know, it seems like I I'm just gonna say,
- 59:33Speaker 3: I don't really okay, I hate Josh, I really hate
- 59:41Speaker 3: Like do you remember Spandem, the guy that robbin? Yeah,
- 59:46Speaker 3: he's up there for me. I just fair rust father
- 59:53Speaker 3: error right, Oh yeah, do you remember remember that that
- 59:56Speaker 3: influmental Alchemist to his daughter or with the dogs? Yeah, chots,
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: he's outfit. I don't know. I just find everything about
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: this character so despicable. And that's all I have to say.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I it's it's like he is but he is so
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: such a caricature in a way that it doesn't would
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: span him. He felt like like a real creep, like
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: in a way that like this is a guy that
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: you would meet and you would beat somewhat frequently. Actually,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Like there's a lot of this type out there, you know,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: Judge feels so over the top bonkers that it's hard
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: for me to muster the same like venom with him
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: because I'm just like, yeah, we get it. Everything that's terrible,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: that's you great, very exciting, you know what I mean.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: So I definitely get it and don't disagree with you.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: But if it's not as visceral for me with him,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: for me, that's fair. And look, we also have our thing,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Like I as a woman reacted to spand him because
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: of the way he was behaving with Robin and how
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: sexualized it was. And I'm going to be more sensitive
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: to that than a lot of dudes are going to be.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: And you know, there's there's We're all gonna have our things.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: We all do have. Yeah, I don't know, we've charged
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: like what he did just to the mother alone, like
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: to Sanchi's mom, basically, yeah, you are my experiment, Like yeah,
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: not even the experiment, it's every my reading rounds for
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: the experiment, you know, like.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: What a Petri dish, not a person mm hmmm.
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: And I feel like that is probably the most I
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: mean the whole that he didn't want Sanchio as his
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: son and everything. Yeah, yeah, ives they're liking. Yeah, but okay,
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: now I'm now I have all said about this. Sanchi
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: goes on to tell Lovie, it up. It is not good.
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: You said that already. Yeah, by the way, I mean,
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: it was obvious. It is a mirror to his mother,
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: basically what Luf is doing here the mom and Lou's
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: I mean, of course it's Loofy and he loves him
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: as soon as and Sani lists all the things of
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: why he can go back. He wasn't unloyal to the crew,
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: the whole setting like the East Blue with the barrier,
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: and well that his family is about to be murdered.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: And you know that too, not that I give a ship.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: But exactly that this is actually the reason why I
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: wanted to read, the reason why I'm here. He Loofy
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: panchasing and I'm summing this subserver, you guys, and he
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: is asking Sanchi what he wants, and Sanchi's just says,
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: I want to go back to my crew. I want
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: to go back on the Sunny, but I cannot leave
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: my family behind like that. And I just want to
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: hear your thoughts on that, and I just I just
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: find it like a really interesting statement.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: I like the way it's tough sometimes because I don't
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: know what it says in the subs, but in the
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: dubs he says something like my family is despicable, like
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: they make me sick, but also they're just going to
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: be fucking slaughtered, like and I this is this is
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: the kind of thing where I think that you want
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: to say one thing, but you also in actual practice
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: would probably do another where there's a big part of
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: me that of course is just like fuck your family,
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: grab your sister, and get the hell.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: Out of here.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: You know, yes, but you know what I just realized.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: He sees his sister in the in the what do
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: you call it the hospital later, right, and she's already
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: been with Pudding by that point, but his sister is
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: still trying to insist that he leave, and it doesn't
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: seem like she doesn't remember what Putting told her, even
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: though Putting erase that memory.
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: Yeah that was I mean, you commented Sanchi basically tell
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: sits down and he's like, this is.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: What's happening, okay.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: And she was basically already snooping around and was like,
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: oh I was respecting you.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: Something was weird, Okay, yeah, yeah, okay.
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: I didn't know what it was, but this checks out basically.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: But yeah, I feel like, grab your sister and bail.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: But then his family goes after the barazier. Can't he
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: inform Judge this is this is the I mean, it's
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: not ideal because Loki want his family to die because
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: I hate them. But if you want to get out
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: of this and you don't want the people on the
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: barratier to get hurt, tell Judge this is the conspiracy
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: that I found out about. And if he wants to
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: know more, there's another family that they apparently did this
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: with that perhaps he could look into and try and
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: find out what happened to them, and it would begin
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: to be clear this is a thing that they have
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: pulled before, you know, because Pudding says they've done it before, right.
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: I think, I mean, she says that she has tricked
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: men before, but it has never specifically stated like this.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: I mean, like there was this whole I mean, maybe
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: she just yeah, made people fall in love with her,
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: men fall in love with her, but it was.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Not I think that I took her saying, I have
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: tricked meant to be like, she's done this exact thing before,
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: but you're right, I don't think that's said explicitly, so
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: I just assumed.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: That's fair. But I just loved this moment for some
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: she because whether or not Sephie is in danger, like
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: the Bevig is in danger.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Got look, I do this constantly.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm never sure how to Nanci don't listen. But
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: Sanji also wants to stay because you don't want his
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: family to dielate it. They have fucked up, but he
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: and he knows it. He says it, but he's kind
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: of like, but they can.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Yeah, and that I completely got off on this weird
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: side thing. But that was what I was getting at.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: It was like, in practice, I want to. I know
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: that I would probably be the same way of being,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: like I can't just abandon them to be fucking like
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: mowed down. But in the story scenario, I very much
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: am like, yes you can, it's fine, Yeah, fuck them,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: you know, like they would not raise a finger for you.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: And frankly, these guys are evil and the world's better
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: without them. They are also villains.
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: So that's what Rachel says. She says that like, the
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: world would be better without us. I think she's the
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: one who is also, yeah, that doesn't die. But that's
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: I loves Angie. This is my coming out as a
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: sane lover because he is just the good hearted and
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: not to dead like like like. And that's when Lucy
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: says it as well, this is who you are and
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: this is why we love you because you are this
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: kind You are the kindest And just after this art,
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: I'm going to promise you if you go back and
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: watch some of the one piece moments or like, Sanchi
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: comes off in a different light in moments, especially if
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: you go back and if you remember the fight that
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: Usa and Lufy have about the going marry you, you
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: will see how Sanchi actually reacts because a family is
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: breaking a problem, and knowing his whole back story here,
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: it just informs all of his actions there because he's
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: the one who steps in. He's the one in the
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: moment when Lufy is about to say you can just leave,
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: so Saja kicks him in the face and he's like,
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: what the fuck are you saying because he just understands
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: what that means, you know, yeah, breaking up your family
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: like that. I love it. I really.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Brought up that whole thing with like us up as well,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: because I was thinking about that here where it's so
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: different where us up, Like, you know, he pitches this
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: fit and is obviously coping with a lot of like
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: his personal feelings of inadequacy in YadA YadA, YadA, and
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: he leaves the crew and then wants to come back,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: and if y'all remember, I was like, yeah, let's let
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: him back in until Zoro talks to Lufy and is like,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: you can't just do that. He really fucked up. You
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: need to know that you can trust the people on
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: your crew, and he was about to fucking bounce and
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: said some bullshit and you can't just let that. And
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: I had to be like, oh shit, yeah, Zorrow, you're right.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: I would have absolutely just been like, yeah, come back, buddy.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: But here it's interesting because it's like Sanji himself doing
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: the Zoro thing where he's like, I can't just go back.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I said all this shit, and I fought you and
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: I did like, this isn't I shouldn't even be like
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: allowed back. Is kind of the energy of it, you
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: know what I mean, which I obviously disagree and of
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: course so does Loofy. But I understand why he feels
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: this way, like I betrayed you guys in a way
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: that isn't forgivable, and is it's of course it's forgivable, buddy,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: but you know, yeah.
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I just one quick thing back in. Actually Sanji
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: agrees with sorrow, like this is a rare moment where
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: he's like, no, hands down, sorry, is right? Like if
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: and here, as you said, I love friendship. It is
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: so corny. It is so corny. But at the end
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: of this, you can listen, we all make mistakes, and
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: sometimes your friends make mistakes, and it can feel like
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: nobody would ever want to talk to me or we'll understand,
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: and honestly, sometimes they don't even understand. But then we'll
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: be there for you. And it's just such a great
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: feeling that you can count on somebody and something gets
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: to experience this firsthand here with lou Fee and I
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: love how peace fell of it.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: Yeah, the whole idea because like, and it's weird where
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: my head goes with this when I think about it,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: but like the idea of alienating a friend and feeling
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: like they never want to see you again, and then
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: they just like are immediately welcoming you back. The circumstance
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: I think about with this is often women, but not exclusively,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: in abusive relationships with a partner who is trying to
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: isolate them from their friends, and their friends can see
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: something isn't right about the relationship try to like help them,
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: and the friend just keeps pushing them away, rejecting them
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: and basically being like, you just don't understand him, You've
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: never liked him, and they get very defensive of this partner,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: and eventually the friend trying to protect them, pulls back
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: because it gets so bad and they've tried so hard
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: and it seems very clear they don't want any help.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: And sometimes the person who is being abused will be
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: like abusive toward their friends in a weird sort of projection.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: And a lot of the time when somebody is in
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: that situation, a big obstacle for them in moving away
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: and out of the life of the person who's been
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: abusing them is feeling like they don't have anywhere to
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: go because they have alienated their friends so completely that
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: they their friends won't want to speak to them again,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: and or going to their friend and being like you
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: were right, is really humiliating, you know, And there's just
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: a lot of there's a lot of lovely stories out
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: there of like women who have wound up in this
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: situation and really thought like she's never gonna want to
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: see me again, and then they reach out to that
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: friend finally, and that friend basically like saves them. No
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: questions asked instantly, like I had just been waiting for
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: your for you to ask because I knew this guy
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: was bad, and just like how instantly they're back on
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: board and ready to you know, be in their corner,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: and it's just really heartwarming. It's lovely.
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: It is. It is like we are not all lost
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: as human kind. I feel like a complimate.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: No, No, I definitely get feeling that way. But the
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: things that are like, you know, shockingly awful are because
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: they're shocking get headlines and mostly like the good stuff
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: of people being decent folks doesn't really get the attention
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: the same way, which I understand.
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean it's just the side tension. I
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: don't know. There's this YouTube channel called smash if you
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: know that lunch what is it?
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: Smash smash No, okay.
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: Okay, it is. It is a pretty huge shell and
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: they have been around for twenty years. And one thing
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: that they're doing in the past is Reddit stories. They
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: read actually redit stories and like and they said themselves
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: like I am the asshole and like I don't know
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: if enemy or something like those videos getting way more
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: clicks than holds them.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: Absolutely, yeah, And I'm just so sad because I and
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: now of course they're doing more of.
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: The things that I like, like I am I the asshole.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Engagement and stuff is like yeah.
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: Yeah, but but I'm also like I'm personally I'm like, no,
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: I want to hear more of like lovely gay stories
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: where like a kid came out and the parents were
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: super supportive even though there were no signs and stuff
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: like that, and it's like, oh my god, I love
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: these stories. Yeah, I need I need to seek them
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: out more. It eats my heart, honestly.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: Yeah. I follow some pages on face and I'm not
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: even on Facebook as much anymore, but I followed a
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: couple that were like good news stuff specifically, and it
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: was lovely. There would be like these just little anecdotes
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: that people posted on like Tumbler and stuff of just
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: you know, there was a woman who is she's a
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: black woman in the black hair care aisle at Target,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: and this white woman comes up to her and he's like,
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: I'm so sorry, can I ask you a question? And
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: of course this black woman is like, oh fucking Christ,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: what is this going to be? And this white woman
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: takes out her phone and is like, we just got
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: custody of our granddaughter and she has hair just like yours,
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: and we are trying to figure out how to care
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: for it because we just want her to feel beautiful.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: And she asks, like, what products do you recommend, shows
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: her a picture of her granddaughter, and then scrolls over
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: and shows a picture of her husband, who's literally in
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: this little like sweater vest, standing in a braid shop
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: with all these black women around him, learning how to
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: braid at one of these shops from one of the
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: women who does braiding. And so they're putting in all
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: this effort to learn how to care for their biracial
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: daughter or granddaughter. And how just like touched this woman
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: was because she fully expected this to be some bullshit.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: And then it's like genuine people wanting to do good,
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: you know, just little things like that. It's yeah, you know,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: love it, love it. It doesn't like this this out
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: of the three episodes, like this doesn't end with Sanji
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: being like, all right, I'm going with you, Like it
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: ends in a way that's still kind.
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: Of I mean, guy, c sure it is like.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: It just like I the the I want everybody. I
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: want everybody there in this moment, even though it is
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: a very personal thing with it. You know, Loofy and
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: him were the ones that really fought Lufy's the cat
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: and I totally get this, but there was a part
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: of me that was like, I wish everybody could be
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: here for this and see the way that he is feeling,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: because Loufy in the end is just like demanding to
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: stop explaining the consequences of the things that you're afraid
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: to choose and just be like in a vacuum with
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: none of that, what is it that you actually want?
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: And I always think that's actually a pretty helpful question,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: Like we get very hung up on the consequences of things,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: which is not wrong of us, but it's something that
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: I think can be Like we overthink to such a
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: degree that we completely lose track of our instincts and
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: our gut telling us here's the thing you should do,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: and our guts can be like quite reliable actually, you know,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: and if nothing else, like Lufy is he is a
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: creature of the gut.
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: Yeah, but yeah, no, what is your speaking of the others,
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: especially Nabbi, because Navi slapt on she and it was
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: not like you powered, but it was like goodbye. Yeah,
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: what do you think she is good to say?
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: I mean she will instantly be on board. I have
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: zero doubts of him. Like, I think that she would
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: just do a quick like so you guys are cool again,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: you're cool with this?
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: Then?
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: Yeah, fine, she just wanted to make sure with Loufy
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: that like, because you know, they did fucking fight right
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: in front of her. But I don't think that it
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: would be an issue for her really, if she understood
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: what was being held over his head, she would understand,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: you know, I think. I look, it's also so funny
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: because you know, we just had this very long period
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: with everything involving Sanjy on this show was just how
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: much blood he was losing from his nose bleeding so
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: profusely because of his even increased horniness levels from being
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: on an island full of cross dressing men, which was
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: just the most tedious ship that's ever happened, and it's
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: so funny to like turn this corner now and be
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: here after all of that, and to be like, but
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: he's actually a real person with like feelings and stuff,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: and I'm like, I only know about the one feeling,
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: the very one feeling. That's the only thing I've ever
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: really seen from him other than being like, eat something.
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: So he's so problematic. Yeah, I'm sorry. I mean, I'm
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: not loving it, but it is just like Sanji needed
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: his art, like he was in the gutter Fishman Island
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: before that, like he didn't have a good pass time
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: skip like showing he needed his ar and I'm happy
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: that he get it, and I'm happy that we are here.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: It is, yeah, agreed, like we needed to do something.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: I wonder I would if Oda felt that way if
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: he finished that other arc and was sort of like
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: I don't know that really, I don't know. Maybe maybe
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: I should give him something more to do now, you know,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: right exactly, I need to do some fucking damage control
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: with this guy now, Like maybe not. I feel this
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: way about that plotline because of how I feel about
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: the whole issue of like feminized men in general just
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: being portrayed as a joke all the time. But I
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: don't know if Oda had at all like a feeling
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: of of that wasn't great afterward, you know, I wonder.
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: I mean, we have to wait and see him what
- 1:21:57Speaker 3: the story Tensel is basically like if it doesn't happen again,
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: then we can hopefully assume that he learned from that. Yeah,
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: one last thing, and it's just a really quick thing.
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: I know, we are all the time.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: My go ahead, we have we got it, like five minutes.
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: We got there is montdor Is, the guy with like
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: the soup with the skeletons drawn on it.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: Right, I forgot about this guy.
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: And he has even the book book through then he's
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: the book guy. He's on the phone with somebody else
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: I don't know. And and that is when Yeah, Sanchi's
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: brothers are like drinking. This guy is basically not one
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: Door like just a henchman. He's like out outside and like, yeah,
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: they're drinking, and make sure they will not leave, they
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: will leave meet their maker. And one Door is just like,
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: don't say it out loud, you're in this at all.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: I cracked up. Yeah, he's like he'll meet their maker
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: to at the wedding. Just like we've planned and he's like,
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: holy shit, can you not just say the plan all
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: of it out loud on the phone?
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: Fuck?
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: I really I enjoy that kind of joke a great deal,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: especially when somebody goes a little too hard on really
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: specifically saying the thing. It's super funny to me. I always.
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: One of my favorites is like, oh, oh sorry, I
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: had somebody on like the other line of the phone
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: of like, oh, let me sorry, I was on the
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: wrong line, and then they go over to the other
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: line and they try and say the thing and the
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: oh it's still you sorry, hold on. This is like
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: this dude who is talking to him? I really want
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: to know, like what he's in charge of because he needs.
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: To be demotive.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: He can't even handle a phone call. Get out of here.
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: This was just this was the one moment that took
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: out to me. Again, there were like other small moments between,
- 1:23:57Speaker 3: but I mean, overall, can I ask you, what, how
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: do you like these episodes? And in general these are
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: how you feel so far right?
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: I'm really really liking the arc. I loved the episode
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: with Brooke, and I liked the last episode with Soanji
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: and Lufy, But the middle episode, it felt like so
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: much filler of just Sanji getting to Loofy. So I
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: feel like we just delete that middle one and it
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: would be perfect. It's just drawn out so much. But
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: in terms of like the overall arc, I mean, I
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: love the setting. Big Mom is a villain, is so
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: much fun, and she's so weird and like just full
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: of She's just unexpected, she's full of surprises, and all
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: of these like side players. A lot of the time,
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: the side players will feel very overwhelming to me and
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: it'll be too much to keep track of. But it
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: feels like they're being dropped in, like we'll meet all
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: of them as a group, and then we back off
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: and we get them dropped in space in little moments,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: so that I don't feel like we've just descended into
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: a whole other weird arc in the middle of everything,
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: which can happen sometimes where it's like, now we just
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: fight Henchman for like, you know, forty episodes, which might
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: be coming, but if it is, I'm expecting that to
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: be like in the midst of the battle on the
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: wedding day or something, which is when I would want that.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: You know, that's fine. It just feels like maybe Oda
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: is getting better at how to structure all of this
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: so that it's easier to follow. And yeah, I feel
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: like it's just like overall, despite what I'm saying about
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: this being drawn out, I also feel like the pacing
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: in this arc is way better.
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I feel that, and I do feel Oda
- 1:25:56Speaker 3: kind of gets better if this like and be honest, like,
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: if you remember I think I said the big time
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: as well, but the battle at Maureene Ford especially, which
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: had like so many characters, and it does not fully
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: work for me, Like just like in the over you,
- 1:26:14Speaker 3: I'm just lost in the Diamond. Maybe that's also the
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: idea because Louis is also lost, like he is in
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: the store of all these fighters, So maybe that's intentional.
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: I don't know, but I feel like Oda has kind
- 1:26:27Speaker 3: of find a better structure for himself and for his story.
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: And I'm happy to hear it that you that you're
- 1:26:34Speaker 3: enjoying me.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: Yeah, definitely.
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: I mean, I mean, does it surprise you we as
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: the Unspoiled more Peace crew have pretty much from the
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: beginning set She's gonna love this.
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: It makes me so happy to know that my brand
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: is so strong that you guys were all like, you
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: knew that makes me delighted. Yeah, we ever wants.
- 1:26:59Speaker 3: Okay, definitely it was I that is the one thing
- 1:27:05Speaker 3: that we I feel like we can count on that
- 1:27:07Speaker 3: you really like the Cake Island, Oh my god.
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: Yeah. And also like Putting secretly being how great, Like
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: I just keep thinking about because Dress Rosa, it started
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: off so strong and then it just dragged out so bad,
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: and it fucking had that Rebecca plot line that was
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: garbage and one of the most useless, misjudged things out
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: of probably the whole of one piece. It's gonna be
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: in my top five like worst plot lines, and putting
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: it could very easily have started to feel like, Okay,
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: I wasn't on that at all. I was rooting for
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: her in Sangy because I actually kind of enjoyed the
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: whole concept. But then to have her actually be the
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: villain is so much more fun, and it's just like,
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: and it's a long, well played con that there aren't
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: a bunch of little hints that kind of made me go, yeah,
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: I figured, you know, I really was kind of start.
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: I was suspicious at first, and then I got lulled
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: and it was a whole different thing, you know, whereas
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: there have been some plots where I'm like, this person's
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: obviously evil. Can we just get get it over with?
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: You know?
- 1:28:24Speaker 3: So I had the same experience. Actually, I wasn't sure
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: about putting into him. Wasn't No, she's fine, I feel good,
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: but it is fun. It is great. Yeah again, like
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: eight hundred episodes in and he still can put it.
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: O yeah exactly. So well, yeah, this has been fun.
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: And I definitely agree about just needing to rehab Sanji's
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: whole image. So I'm here for that as well. I am.
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: I am more than willing to forget about nosebla. Guys
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: are SANGI and leave that in the past, and you know,
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: he will be now uncanceled and we'll try and give
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: him a new role in a movie and see how
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: the public reacts. Kind of thing.
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: We will't have you shot less than it's fine. Everybody
- 1:29:20Speaker 3: would be happy, exactly.
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: Is there anything else that you wanted to mention before
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: you wrap up?
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: I don't think so. I mean, I have a god,
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: you guys, I have a YouTube channel. It is south Art,
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: No just south and promoted.
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: Before dot art right.
- 1:29:44Speaker 3: Yes it is. I used to draw there now I'm
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: doing some drop out content there. If you know what
- 1:29:51Speaker 3: dropout is, go to watch it. If it's a fun series,
- 1:29:55Speaker 3: I do reactions and do reactions to drop out. I
- 1:29:59Speaker 3: I don't know. I just needed something fun to do
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: and oh yeah, I get it, and I just wanted
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: to do try out doing reactions because I like to
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: watch them. So I was like, oh, that's right now
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: and so far it's fun. So if you want to
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: find something or reactions to drop out content, because there's
- 1:30:19Speaker 3: not a lot of that. Actually, there is not only
- 1:30:21Speaker 3: many people who do that, even though it is a
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: popular like they sold our medicine square Garden, like they yeah,
- 1:30:30Speaker 3: so amazing, but there's not a lot of YouTube content
- 1:30:34Speaker 3: around it. So I was just like, okay, let's jump
- 1:30:36Speaker 3: into the niche and look what happens.
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: Yeah, you had recommended to me to like sign up
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: for it because they were having a sale where they
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: dropped the price really and it was just like, at
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: the time, I was already in the middle of so
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: much content. I was like, I can't do more content
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: right now, still kind of in the middle of that.
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: But yeah, I've seen clips and it's always hilarious, so.
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: It is so fun. They make lots of work out,
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: so you do. Hey, I just love this. If you
- 1:31:10Speaker 3: like the feeling that a spoiled keeps to you, honestly,
- 1:31:13Speaker 3: go over there like it is just a wholesome feeling.
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: And I just want to thank you Maucha specifically for that.
- 1:31:18Speaker 3: It is always an escape and such a joy to
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: be able to listen to you for an hour or
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: two if we're lucky.
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: Yeah, all those days. Well, thank you so much for
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: you and for commissioning this, for joining me, for commissioning
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: so many episodes. You're like one of my You're one
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: of my most loyal customers, and I am always delighted
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: to have a want to Be episode because it's super
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: fun to record with somebody who knows the show and stuff.
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: It's just it's a fun change, and I appreciate you
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: being here. All right, everybody, thank you all so much
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: for listening. I hope that y'all are enjoying the coverage
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: of the show. Until next time to the loo, motherfuckers.
- 1:32:09Speaker 4: Bye.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: That was an Unspoiled Network podcast.
