- 1:30Speaker 4: Awful job today on the yo's.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I was thinking Taylor was going to open up
- 1:35Speaker 3: with the weather, so I was late on the air. Well,
- 1:37Speaker 3: that's what I was out.
- 1:37Speaker 4: That was my next statement was he didn't He didn't
- 1:40Speaker 4: play the thing either, weed him to hit the open
- 1:42Speaker 4: didn't play the thing on the for the weather. I
- 1:45Speaker 4: don't know how people are supposed to survive today without understandsible.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Thunderstorms in the afternoon high of ninety up.
- 1:51Speaker 4: Okay, well you welcome, Ritson, repeat, copy and paste, get.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Your umbrellas not opened, have him in the car ready
- 1:59Speaker 2: to you.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Okay. So I know there's been summer.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I know we had some spotted showers towards
- 2:07Speaker 4: the end of last week. But I guess tell you what,
- 2:10Speaker 4: Flynn Household, not one spotted shower made its way over
- 2:13Speaker 4: our house.
- 2:15Speaker 3: We're dry, We are real dry right now. We need
- 2:17Speaker 3: a little rain.
- 2:19Speaker 4: So if you could put that in the forecast for tomorrow, Taylor,
- 2:22Speaker 4: that would be fantastic, Luke.
- 2:24Speaker 3: You and tomorrow, No, not tomorrow. I'm doing a week that.
- 2:29Speaker 5: We'll actually have the weather tomorrow. Actually, this actually works
- 2:32Speaker 5: out perfectly.
- 2:33Speaker 3: I think go got braxt in tomorrow morning.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Okay, all right, all right, well good morning everybody. Thanks
- 2:38Speaker 4: for tuning in. What a beautiful, beautiful morning it was
- 2:42Speaker 4: driving in No traffic for me today, Taylor, I don't
- 2:45Speaker 4: know if there's traffic for you coming in.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Do you get on inter site? You don't? I just
- 2:49Speaker 3: go down River Road all the way down River Road.
- 2:52Speaker 6: Yeah, cheesy, old river road. Yeah, used to be the
- 2:56Speaker 6: main road we travel. Back in the day we would travel.
- 3:00Speaker 6: You'd have to go a long way to not get
- 3:02Speaker 6: very far right scher, what's up, buddy? How was weekend?
- 3:06Speaker 6: I was good man, just you know, did a little
- 3:08Speaker 6: work on buddies property and uh huh, hung out around
- 3:11Speaker 6: the house.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Yeah. So it's like prime time to get ready.
- 3:14Speaker 6: It's getting ready to so you're getting deer property ready,
- 3:17Speaker 6: duck property both.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Okay, a little dual purpose. So where would you go hunted?
- 3:22Speaker 6: A couple of different places where it's like if you
- 3:24Speaker 6: want to get away in the weekend and go hunting,
- 3:26Speaker 6: Like what part of the state you go in or
- 3:29Speaker 6: is it even this state? I got my camp and
- 3:31Speaker 6: buy you pigeon. I go down there a good bit.
- 3:35Speaker 6: This is my buddy's property up in Marksville. We were
- 3:37Speaker 6: up there, go over to my dad's place in Mississippi
- 3:40Speaker 6: every once in a while. Yeah, where where's where's on
- 3:44Speaker 6: the Paschal Rivers further up? Okay, how the duck's supposed
- 3:47Speaker 6: to be this year? It's this just hadn't been good.
- 3:51Speaker 6: I've been struggling.
- 3:52Speaker 3: You look so sad. It's sad.
- 3:55Speaker 6: It's not like back in the day before we got
- 3:57Speaker 6: married and had kids and you're running around and hunting
- 4:00Speaker 6: every weekend and just taking off like half day of
- 4:02Speaker 6: work and go and if it was good, you disappeared
- 4:05Speaker 6: for four or five days. And you can't do that anymore.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Tell you what, there wouldn't there wasn't a safe pond
- 4:11Speaker 4: around batteries with me and used to run the roads
- 4:13Speaker 4: with our fishing with the fishing bowls man.
- 4:16Speaker 6: Who was the I can't remember the guy's name that
- 4:19Speaker 6: when we start first started fishing over the levees back
- 4:22Speaker 6: by the birds.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Uh huh uh.
- 4:23Speaker 4: It was Jeff Watson, the attorney Gordon McKernin, and he
- 4:27Speaker 4: does a lot of the nile stuff.
- 4:28Speaker 3: It's his brother.
- 4:30Speaker 6: And then they set us up and called the cops
- 4:32Speaker 6: on us one time that's right.
- 4:35Speaker 4: And we'd go find like the little little so when
- 4:38Speaker 4: the river would rise and then it would receive it back,
- 4:42Speaker 4: it would leave these little pots like little lakes, and
- 4:44Speaker 4: we don't go to kind of over to Battle of Burge.
- 4:47Speaker 4: It was these little, just tiny ponds that the river
- 4:49Speaker 4: would leave, and my god, you would slaughter back as
- 4:52Speaker 4: soon as the water came out of the trees.
- 4:54Speaker 6: It's like that the first time in the spring when
- 4:56Speaker 6: that water would warm up and you could sit there
- 4:57Speaker 6: and catch like thirty or forty and they're all over
- 4:59Speaker 6: a pound and a half, two pounds.
- 5:00Speaker 4: They were, they were, they were unbelievable. I thought we
- 5:04Speaker 4: were decent fishermen until we saw him fish. Yeah, I
- 5:07Speaker 4: mean he was like throwing it in grass with it
- 5:10Speaker 4: looked like an inch of water.
- 5:11Speaker 3: He'd pull a five pound bass out of it. He
- 5:14Speaker 3: was very.
- 5:15Speaker 6: Accurate, very accurate. But he can't throw football is acurate.
- 5:19Speaker 6: That's that's a really good point. Everybody's got the thing
- 5:21Speaker 6: still got that on him. But yeah, that was what
- 5:24Speaker 6: we used to do.
- 5:25Speaker 4: And what there wasn't an apartment complex lake that was safe.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Not I mean, Qush golf course wouldn't safe.
- 5:35Speaker 3: You had a way on to the U Club. Back
- 5:37Speaker 3: then it was a couple of pounds, but go hit
- 5:39Speaker 3: back there. Yeah.
- 5:40Speaker 6: Yeah, we'll just park and walk. That was my way
- 5:43Speaker 6: on there. There's no golfers there, yeah, but sometimes there
- 5:49Speaker 6: was still because I don't know if you can do
- 5:50Speaker 6: that anymore, I'm not.
- 5:51Speaker 3: No.
- 5:51Speaker 6: We we also go to CCL. We would just park
- 5:53Speaker 6: it like that bank and they walk across, walk by.
- 5:56Speaker 3: And then you you just kind of were like, let's
- 5:58Speaker 3: see if eventually somebody will kick us out. Yeah, they
- 6:01Speaker 3: never did. We kept it in the bass. Yeah. I
- 6:04Speaker 3: still fish in the U Club all the club, all
- 6:06Speaker 3: the time. Are they still good? Oh yeah, not as
- 6:09Speaker 3: good as in high school. Me and my buddy would
- 6:12Speaker 3: go every day after school. Yeah, but it's just everyone.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Which hole are you fishing? On? Eleven was a big one? Yeah?
- 6:20Speaker 3: I caught a six pounder out of their one. Did
- 6:22Speaker 3: you really? Yeah? I'm still chasing it all right, Still
- 6:24Speaker 3: chasing that high one.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yeah, still chase that same fish.
- 6:28Speaker 5: Saying it's it's a little past its hey day, but
- 6:30Speaker 5: it's it's still a solid spot.
- 6:32Speaker 3: So let's say, when were you in high school? I
- 6:34Speaker 3: graduate high school in twenty eighteen, so we.
- 6:37Speaker 4: Were fishing when you were in elementary school. Yeah, pretty
- 6:42Speaker 4: much for sure. Maybee his year of his birth.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Uh. Yeah.
- 6:46Speaker 4: So we would go to the CCL lake right in
- 6:49Speaker 4: the front, and we'd park in that little bank parking
- 6:51Speaker 4: lot and then we would kind of just walk to
- 6:53Speaker 4: the bank. We'd walk the bank past the gate and
- 6:56Speaker 4: we'd just go into CCL and fish never stopped us,
- 6:59Speaker 4: never stopped us. Yeah, well they had some good fish.
- 7:01Speaker 4: That was some really good fishing back there. Now, I
- 7:03Speaker 4: think it's like we're too old to get in trouble
- 7:05Speaker 4: for doing that.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Yeah, to sneak into c CL when you were eighteen,
- 7:08Speaker 3: nineteen twenty, Yeah, maybe it's just kids. They're just kids.
- 7:13Speaker 3: They're young and dumb. I'm like, just got a gray beard.
- 7:17Speaker 4: Quit sneaking in the properties your father, sir, Stop sneaking in.
- 7:22Speaker 4: It's still in these golf course fish.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Taylor, what's up, dude? How was the weekend?
- 7:28Speaker 7: Do?
- 7:28Speaker 5: I worked a lot on Saturday? You know, like, excuse
- 7:32Speaker 5: me for taking two weeks off. You know, I got
- 7:35Speaker 5: to step up, you know, that's what I do. They make,
- 7:38Speaker 5: they make the.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Call to the bullpen. They say, give me the lefty
- 7:40Speaker 2: out of the pen.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Yep, I run out enter Sandman's blairing behind me and
- 7:44Speaker 5: we just make it out.
- 7:45Speaker 2: That's what happened this weekend. Are you saying that ten
- 7:48Speaker 2: minutes of practice you went to that was your work?
- 7:50Speaker 5: All I'm saying is, Matt, pretty detailed practice report on
- 7:54Speaker 5: our website. Don't know who wrote it. Not a huge deal,
- 7:58Speaker 5: but it's probably the best you're gonna get for ten minutes. Yeah, yeah,
- 8:01Speaker 5: I did. I uh, I did the practice report on Saturday,
- 8:05Speaker 5: and then I was already scheduled to work a flag
- 8:07Speaker 5: football event and sent them all four to six. So
- 8:10Speaker 5: basically I went home, helped out Victoria with the baby
- 8:14Speaker 5: for two hours, left again.
- 8:15Speaker 2: So it was a it was a busy Saturday.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Okay.
- 8:17Speaker 4: So when Taylor sharp six sits down to write a
- 8:22Speaker 4: practice report after watching ten minutes of individual drills, how
- 8:29Speaker 4: long does this report take to me?
- 8:31Speaker 2: About ten minutes? Now, Credit to Gordy Rush.
- 8:35Speaker 5: Gordy showed up to you because he was like, hey,
- 8:37Speaker 5: you're only gonna have ten minutes. He's like, I'm gonna
- 8:39Speaker 5: tell you the D line and rotation, the secondary and
- 8:41Speaker 5: all that. He's like, you can just you can go
- 8:43Speaker 5: to the offensive sort of thing. So yeah, Gordy. Gordy
- 8:45Speaker 5: helped out a good bit. So uh, I went back
- 8:47Speaker 5: to Guarantee wrote it up ten minutes, right. I mean
- 8:50Speaker 5: we covered the highlights, Matt, the quarterback throws, the D
- 8:53Speaker 5: line rotation.
- 8:54Speaker 2: The date was it paton Go again? It was it
- 8:56Speaker 2: was pat and go again.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Look, I told you Keasha Blair in the background, one
- 9:01Speaker 5: of the more electric pattent goes I've seen.
- 9:03Speaker 2: So if that's any indication, why is.
- 9:06Speaker 4: The Kesha songs coming out a good reports every single day?
- 9:09Speaker 4: It's Kesha Ha been played every day at practice.
- 9:12Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 9:12Speaker 3: I've only been to one practice. Well that's what I
- 9:14Speaker 3: saw it on social media yesterday. They're like interesting music choice.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I've heard it for multiple days from people at
- 9:20Speaker 4: Kesha has been blaring. Not necessarily the hits either, we're
- 9:25Speaker 4: talking the deep cuts, Kesha deep cuts, which is some
- 9:28Speaker 4: sicko stuff to listen to. I don't know the deep cuts. No,
- 9:32Speaker 4: I don't think anybody does, except for the LSG football team.
- 9:35Speaker 6: You know, at least they're listening to music and not
- 9:37Speaker 6: the sound of a jet engine less. Miles didn't really
- 9:41Speaker 6: play a lot of music when we've got ready on
- 9:43Speaker 6: Thursdays when they start playing music.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Originally it was like.
- 9:47Speaker 6: Oh yes, right, yeah, they would just play like big
- 9:51Speaker 6: it was I guess it was a it's just like
- 9:53Speaker 6: loud white noise. There was no music. They would just
- 9:56Speaker 6: play something as loud as possible to give you a headache.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:58Speaker 4: It was pretty like revolutionary when people just started playing
- 10:02Speaker 4: music instead of for crowd noise, which is like, okay,
- 10:05Speaker 4: really that's really nice. And somebody made that that song
- 10:11Speaker 4: to the Sweet Home Alabama, yeah tune, but it was
- 10:14Speaker 4: for LSU remember, and they would play that, Go Tiger's Bebama.
- 10:19Speaker 3: What you're talking about? They play that? That was like
- 10:23Speaker 3: it was like, wow, we playing music out here. This
- 10:25Speaker 3: is wild. Yeah. It was just like super loud.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Just think of like white white noise for Razor that
- 10:31Speaker 4: you play while there's something just turn that up to
- 10:34Speaker 4: eleven and blaired on the biggest speakers ever. And that's
- 10:37Speaker 4: what we had to practice. It doesn't sound great now
- 10:40Speaker 4: they get Kesha deep cuts.
- 10:42Speaker 3: So would you rather the Kasha deep cuts?
- 10:47Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Taylor said it was electric, Well, the patent go was
- 10:50Speaker 4: an electric up. When did we getting to practice? I
- 10:54Speaker 4: assume that was at the practice fields. Are we getting
- 10:56Speaker 4: into practice at Tiger Stadium anytime soon?
- 10:59Speaker 2: I think that this is Saturday.
- 11:00Speaker 5: They have a scrimmage closed through the media, though, I
- 11:03Speaker 5: would imagine that's the Tiger Stadium.
- 11:05Speaker 4: One rich when we used to have like either spring
- 11:09Speaker 4: practice or training camp scrimmages, Like I always hated scrimmages.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Yeah, for whatever reason.
- 11:14Speaker 4: I don't know why, because a lot of times it
- 11:18Speaker 4: is you do like a week's worth of install right,
- 11:21Speaker 4: so you do day one, day two, day three, four,
- 11:23Speaker 4: and then the scrimmage is basically the test on the
- 11:27Speaker 4: installation days. But as an offensive player, it's like, Okay,
- 11:34Speaker 4: we're about to do a test, but they've seen these
- 11:36Speaker 4: plays over and over and over for four straight days.
- 11:39Speaker 4: It's kind of like in the NFL when you go
- 11:42Speaker 4: have an enter team practice with another team for a
- 11:45Speaker 4: week and then you got to play them on the
- 11:47Speaker 4: game day, Like you'all've all seen each other. You know
- 11:49Speaker 4: your moves, you know you know how everybody likes to
- 11:52Speaker 4: run their route, you know which, like, okay, this week
- 11:55Speaker 4: they worked on slant flats this week.
- 11:58Speaker 6: Well, not to mention the entire scrimmage that's scripted and
- 12:02Speaker 6: coaches most likely go over the plays that they know
- 12:05Speaker 6: that you're going to run.
- 12:06Speaker 3: It's true.
- 12:07Speaker 6: So then the defense is getting the same script. So like, hey,
- 12:09Speaker 6: when you get this look and they're gonna do this,
- 12:11Speaker 6: this is where I want you to do it. They
- 12:12Speaker 6: know everything that's happening. Everybody's looked like I would go
- 12:15Speaker 6: over all the plays that I'm in just to make
- 12:16Speaker 6: sure that I'm going over all my reads and you
- 12:19Speaker 6: know what I'm supposed to do. So it was like
- 12:21Speaker 6: my study guide, right, Well, the defense had the same
- 12:24Speaker 6: study guide, and then you're gonna get out there and
- 12:26Speaker 6: everybody knows what's about to happen.
- 12:28Speaker 8: Yep.
- 12:28Speaker 4: And it is funny because you'll have like ones versus ones,
- 12:32Speaker 4: twos versus twos, and then you'll go ones versus twos, twos
- 12:35Speaker 4: versus one, and usually the twos are not set up
- 12:38Speaker 4: for success because if it's the two offense, usually the
- 12:42Speaker 4: number one defense look with the coordinator, they get to
- 12:45Speaker 4: see the offense a's plays and then they get to
- 12:48Speaker 4: base their defense on that and then vice versa. For
- 12:51Speaker 4: the defense. If it's the number one offense versus the
- 12:53Speaker 4: two defense, they get to see basically choose their play
- 12:56Speaker 4: and then choose the defensive look that.
- 12:58Speaker 3: We want to run this play into this.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Yeah, and a lot of times you gotta be careful
- 13:02Speaker 4: on scrimmage numbers because sometimes coaches, when they're trying to
- 13:06Speaker 4: get something out of an individual player, they will set
- 13:08Speaker 4: him up for failure as well to see, like, Okay,
- 13:11Speaker 4: this is a cornerback, I really want to isolate him
- 13:14Speaker 4: on trade as because I just want to see how
- 13:17Speaker 4: he does, or I want him to get his ass
- 13:19Speaker 4: kicked real quick, like I want him to see how
- 13:21Speaker 4: I want to see how he responds to that, So
- 13:24Speaker 4: you do have to be careful.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Or a quarterback situation.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Like he has struggled versus this coverage with this read,
- 13:29Speaker 4: I'm gonna give that to him ten times today, and
- 13:33Speaker 4: so defensive coordinator, I need you to play this or
- 13:35Speaker 4: I need you to I need you to bring a
- 13:36Speaker 4: week side corner. I need you to bring a guy
- 13:38Speaker 4: off the slot because my quarterback's just not seeing it.
- 13:40Speaker 4: The same thing with like my right tackle, right guard,
- 13:42Speaker 4: like they have missed, they have they've missed. They've missed
- 13:45Speaker 4: the nickel blitz four times this past week because they
- 13:49Speaker 4: haven't seen it and they have it, they're not fanning
- 13:51Speaker 4: out to it.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Correctly give it to me. Oh like yeah, like constantly.
- 13:55Speaker 4: So uh, Scrimmages are always tough because I do feel
- 13:58Speaker 4: like the coaches do set you up for failure hoping
- 14:02Speaker 4: that you overcome it because it's something you've struggled with.
- 14:05Speaker 4: So scrimmage stats are can be misleading, but they can
- 14:08Speaker 4: also be really good indicators of from an individual performance
- 14:12Speaker 4: on who is making those improvements. And Taylor, you said
- 14:17Speaker 4: it before. We like the best ability is what availability,
- 14:19Speaker 4: That's what they say map. It's also coachability. The best
- 14:22Speaker 4: ability can also be coachability because they coaches, so huck starts.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Practice today, they've sparked tackled football today over at I.
- 14:31Speaker 4: Said, hey, look, you got to be coachable. Coaches hate
- 14:35Speaker 4: it when they have to tell tell a player the
- 14:37Speaker 4: same thing twice, So like that's that's what they That's
- 14:40Speaker 4: what the coaches want to see in scrimmages. Like if
- 14:42Speaker 4: they teach you and they've y'all gone over right guard,
- 14:46Speaker 4: right tackle, this is the look. This is what you
- 14:48Speaker 4: have to see. This is where your eye discipline has
- 14:50Speaker 4: to be out to the slot. You got a fan,
- 14:52Speaker 4: this is what you do to this pressure. If they've
- 14:54Speaker 4: told you that three four times in the week and
- 14:57Speaker 4: then you still miss it in the scrimmage. That's when
- 14:59Speaker 4: you start losing your job.
- 15:01Speaker 6: That's when you start getting people replacing you on that
- 15:03Speaker 6: following Monday. So what age group is playing fifth and sixth?
- 15:07Speaker 6: I think the third and fourth and sixth. Yeah, we're
- 15:11Speaker 6: still you know, we're that nine you it's tough, man.
- 15:18Speaker 6: Coachability is very tough.
- 15:21Speaker 4: That's a really good ability to have because they're always
- 15:24Speaker 4: going to be available. Can you listen three plays in
- 15:28Speaker 4: a row? No, no, that's the answer. That's absolutely not.

- 19:37Speaker 4: real strong coffee right now. They said, you're you're sounding
- 19:40Speaker 4: a little sleepy.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Yeah, you're usually a morning person, usually a morning person.
- 19:45Speaker 6: But you know, we've had the kids with the flu
- 19:46Speaker 6: for a week. Oh, that's right. We had one of
- 19:49Speaker 6: the kids in the hospital. It's just been it's been
- 19:51Speaker 6: a long last about five Everything's good.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Everything's good, everybody's helping. Y you little extra hydration. Yeah,
- 19:59Speaker 3: it's a little bit more tired than usual. Well, you
- 20:01Speaker 3: combine the flu with one hundred and ninety degree temperatures outside, Yeah,
- 20:05Speaker 3: it's a hydreation important. It's pretty crazy. I mean I've
- 20:08Speaker 3: never had them all three at one time, get it. Yeah.
- 20:10Speaker 6: But it started like, I mean, we were all in
- 20:12Speaker 6: the car driving back from Nashville last weekend, and then
- 20:15Speaker 6: Charlotte started feeling kind of bad and we drove eight hours,
- 20:19Speaker 6: got to the house. My wife went straight to urgent
- 20:21Speaker 6: care and she tested positive. Monday, the kids were kind
- 20:25Speaker 6: of sluggish. Tuesday, Jackson started going down just Dominez. Yeah,
- 20:30Speaker 6: so I made Jackson practice Monday, okay, and that's when
- 20:34Speaker 6: it went really downhill. After that, I was like, you're
- 20:36Speaker 6: not sick, you're earlier.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Oh, is that the that's the sign you're eating.
- 20:45Speaker 6: But he was acting normal and eating junk food and
- 20:47Speaker 6: I was like, okay, you no, it's the junk food
- 20:49Speaker 6: that's making you feel bad. No, he had a one
- 20:52Speaker 6: hundred and two fever for about three days. No fod
- 20:55Speaker 6: it was rough.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Well.
- 20:59Speaker 4: Yeah, Unfortunately, with the house full of kids, it's like
- 21:03Speaker 4: if there's something, if somebody gets sick, now, might not
- 21:06Speaker 4: all happen at once. We ours usually kind of waterfalls
- 21:10Speaker 4: a little bit, more like as soon as one's getting
- 21:12Speaker 4: over it, the next one gets it, and then eventually
- 21:14Speaker 4: it makes its way to to Lacey and I. Yeah, yeah,
- 21:17Speaker 4: all of them at the same time. That's a tough situation.
- 21:20Speaker 6: You know, I felt like I was I started to
- 21:22Speaker 6: get that little rough you know, it's in your throat
- 21:24Speaker 6: and knows was running and I was trying to fight it.
- 21:28Speaker 6: That's denied that we were gonna get it the whole time. Well,
- 21:31Speaker 6: that's really great parenting advice. I know where there's a
- 21:33Speaker 6: lot of people going to carpool right now driving kiddos
- 21:35Speaker 6: to school. Great parenting advice. Just because your kids are
- 21:38Speaker 6: eating skittles doesn't mean they're not sick. Yeah, so just
- 21:42Speaker 6: make sure that's not your telltale sign right there.
- 21:47Speaker 3: All right, let's get to.
- 21:50Speaker 4: This amazing Everyone's on the edge of their seat, I know,
- 21:53Speaker 4: because they gots to hear this practice report from Saturday
- 21:56Speaker 4: LSU practice report, our own Razor Dad right over here.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Taylor's sharp. You didn't like the way that sounded, Razors Dad.
- 22:06Speaker 2: It could have flowed better. It could have flo could
- 22:08Speaker 2: have been better. Well, there's a lot of things that
- 22:10Speaker 2: I do when I'm hosting this show that could be better.
- 22:13Speaker 4: So, uh, you just gotta kind of roll with the punches, Taylor. Taylor,
- 22:17Speaker 4: you were at practice. You were there for all ten minutes.
- 22:21Speaker 4: I gotta tell you. It felt quicker than that being
- 22:23Speaker 4: out there too, Like.
- 22:24Speaker 2: They're just saying the South so they're like, all right,
- 22:27Speaker 2: media this way.
- 22:27Speaker 5: They're like, oh, they're letting us go to the other field,
- 22:29Speaker 5: and they're like, a right, thanks for coming out.
- 22:31Speaker 2: I was like, oh, okay, we're done. Yeah, it felt quicker.
- 22:34Speaker 4: It like when you walk through the gate, is two
- 22:36Speaker 4: of the ten minutes walking to your spot and then.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Two I think it's I think it's ten from gate
- 22:42Speaker 2: to gate, then.
- 22:43Speaker 4: From gate to gate. Pretty sure you go in a
- 22:45Speaker 4: different gate or like you get.
- 22:47Speaker 5: That you got that northwest corner right there by that
- 22:50Speaker 5: drainage ditch.
- 22:52Speaker 4: So I would say two minutes walking in, two minutes
- 22:54Speaker 4: walking out, six minutes actually watching practice.
- 22:57Speaker 5: Probably, so when we got there, we throwing two uh
- 23:01Speaker 5: tight ends, and we talked about this the other day.
- 23:04Speaker 5: Remains true. Trade has Green exclusively working with Sam Levitt,
- 23:08Speaker 5: Like anytime levit's up there, if there's another rotation, he
- 23:11Speaker 5: gets pulled out. Trade as is up there, so that
- 23:13Speaker 5: connection is going to be strong. On Malakai Thomas seems
- 23:16Speaker 5: to be the tight end two. I know that there's
- 23:18Speaker 5: kind of a big question marked behind Trade des there's
- 23:20Speaker 5: a lot of new there. Malachai Thomas was the two
- 23:23Speaker 5: in every drill. I mean, love, it looked good throwing,
- 23:26Speaker 5: but guys, it's it's routes on air, It's it's it's
- 23:29Speaker 5: pat and go. Like you to say, man, he had
- 23:31Speaker 5: some good zip on his slants and he had a
- 23:33Speaker 5: nice touch on his deep ball. Sure, he absolutely did.
- 23:35Speaker 5: He threw the ball well against no defense. I look
- 23:38Speaker 5: at more of the rotation, like there's kind of a
- 23:41Speaker 5: clear quarterback rotation now because remember the beginning of spring
- 23:45Speaker 5: Land and Clark was kind of that guy while Levitt
- 23:47Speaker 5: was out and then Long Street kind of passed him up.
- 23:50Speaker 5: It's it is Levitt who's on Long Street, Land and
- 23:52Speaker 5: Clark one, two three right now. Yep, every single drill
- 23:55Speaker 5: they did, every single rep they took, it was a
- 23:56Speaker 5: long Street to Land and Clark three. So that seems
- 23:59Speaker 5: to be the pecking order, and really a wide receiver
- 24:02Speaker 5: as well. Jace Brown, Jackson Harris are your top two
- 24:05Speaker 5: and then Malik else has been the third guy. At
- 24:08Speaker 5: least he was all day this past Saturday. So I
- 24:11Speaker 5: like to look more at rotations who's taking those first
- 24:14Speaker 5: reps more than performance against a non defense. So that's
- 24:17Speaker 5: kind of what stood out on offense, the pecking order
- 24:19Speaker 5: at quarterback and receiver. Defensive wise, this came straight from
- 24:23Speaker 5: Gordy Rush. A good eye on him because as we're leaving,
- 24:27Speaker 5: the defense is running out there to line up for
- 24:29Speaker 5: seven on seven. It was CJ Jim Coyley at star
- 24:32Speaker 5: with the first team defense instead of Deshaun Spears. First
- 24:34Speaker 5: time we had seen that out there. I remember we
- 24:37Speaker 5: talked on Friday, Tomarcus Cooley wasn't the starting safety with
- 24:41Speaker 5: the first group. He was on Saturday. So my guess
- 24:44Speaker 5: is they got their top four or five guys and
- 24:47Speaker 5: a few other guys they think are going to play
- 24:49Speaker 5: a lot. They're giving them their run with the ones.
- 24:51Speaker 5: That's more than likely what's happening. So a little bit
- 24:54Speaker 5: there for you for the offense and the defense.
- 24:56Speaker 6: Richard, if you were confused at what a star position is,
- 25:00Speaker 6: it's just it's just like it's like a nickel. Sam, Yeah, it's.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Matt Heats the star hates it.
- 25:09Speaker 6: How do you feel about the star position? I just
- 25:11Speaker 6: think it's just coming up with another name. That's all
- 25:17Speaker 6: it is, exactly what a new name.
- 25:21Speaker 4: And I hate how it's common, Nate, like just common,
- 25:24Speaker 4: like everybody's just like, yo, yeah, it's a star position.
- 25:26Speaker 5: Like the Saints do it. We talk about it with
- 25:28Speaker 5: the Saints. You're on a sinker, we're going at the star.
- 25:30Speaker 5: In Staley's defense, what you here all the time?
- 25:33Speaker 3: When when did that become a thing?
- 25:34Speaker 2: I know, I didn't hear about it until Baker got here.
- 25:37Speaker 2: I don't know. He was just making stuff up. A
- 25:40Speaker 2: bunch of sheep out there.
- 25:41Speaker 6: The old Brett Farve interview, he talks about what difference
- 25:45Speaker 6: between nicol and dime, and he's asking the backup quarterback.
- 25:50Speaker 6: You never seen Brett Farve you anything? What do they
- 25:52Speaker 6: mean when they say Nicholas? Like, well, they take the
- 25:53Speaker 6: lineback aroud, they bring in another d Beacos, that's it,
- 25:56Speaker 6: that's it.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Who gives her? He's like all the stuff he think
- 26:00Speaker 3: gives a darn. He's in the middle, he's the starting
- 26:02Speaker 3: quarterback and he's asking the backup quarterback. What do they
- 26:05Speaker 3: mean when they go to what.
- 26:06Speaker 4: Like they're saying all these words, man, but like they
- 26:08Speaker 4: still got eleven out there.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Right, So you're just taking a linebacker and put a
- 26:12Speaker 3: DV who used it? Yeah? Yeah, So Harold Perkins. Some
- 26:17Speaker 3: don't know this. He played three positions. He played defensive end, linebacker,
- 26:21Speaker 3: and star. Completely different thing than linebacker. So glad to
- 26:26Speaker 3: see that report on the Star.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Man. You'll love this one.
- 26:30Speaker 5: I gotta I got a depth chart pulled up for
- 26:32Speaker 5: you for the University of Alabama their defense.
- 26:35Speaker 3: You've done this to me before and it enraged me.
- 26:37Speaker 2: So they have a wolf, they have a sting, and
- 26:43Speaker 2: they have a husky.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Yeah, Mike Simon, yeahs not making it much wolf sting.
- 26:49Speaker 5: Yeah, they appear to be just judged about the size
- 26:52Speaker 5: of the guys. Appear to be linebacker. Husky looks like
- 26:55Speaker 5: the nicker.
- 26:56Speaker 3: So what happened to Mike Salmon? Will? And they're still there.
- 27:00Speaker 3: There's just people call him different names.
- 27:02Speaker 6: You take out the Sam and yeah, he's the star,
- 27:06Speaker 6: is gonna be I mean usually, I mean he's usually
- 27:09Speaker 6: gonna be this Sam.
- 27:10Speaker 3: He's gonna be the nickel pretty much.
- 27:12Speaker 4: They just he's the nickel, a little little bit more
- 27:15Speaker 4: meat on his bones like a Sam.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Just so he's a linebacker.
- 27:22Speaker 4: No, no, he's a defensive back, but he's not quite
- 27:25Speaker 4: the size of anyway. So who So who was the
- 27:29Speaker 4: who was running with the one nickel sam position?
- 27:32Speaker 2: It was c J Jim Coyley, who had been the backup.
- 27:35Speaker 5: He was on the team a year ago, actually ran
- 27:38Speaker 5: with the the second team Star a year ago behind
- 27:40Speaker 5: Perkins and times in fall camp.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Uh, he's a guy they really like.
- 27:45Speaker 5: You can play him at linebacker, you can play him
- 27:46Speaker 5: at safety, and apparently out in the nickel as well.
- 27:49Speaker 5: So getting a little bit of run for him, first
- 27:52Speaker 5: time we've seen him at that first team Star instead
- 27:54Speaker 5: of Deshaun Spears. So somebody to keep an eye on
- 27:57Speaker 5: with still out there. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's just again.
- 28:00Speaker 5: It was like for Thursday to market school. He didn't
- 28:03Speaker 5: run with the ones. They give Jase Thomas an opportunity.
- 28:06Speaker 5: So I think they're just trying to find some guys
- 28:08Speaker 5: that they know we're going to play a lot, and
- 28:09Speaker 5: they're like, hey, let's see how they look with the
- 28:11Speaker 5: first team.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Have we got any reports out of Alabama about how
- 28:15Speaker 4: their Husky positions doing.
- 28:17Speaker 2: No, but the wolf good play, good player? Yeah, good
- 28:22Speaker 2: play player?
- 28:23Speaker 3: That actually is its transfer.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Now you sent team last year?
- 28:27Speaker 4: Oh good for them? Well yeah, all those those dumb
- 28:30Speaker 4: names like the boys not. He doesn't making it long.
- 28:32Speaker 4: He's not making it at twenty thirty.
- 28:33Speaker 3: For sure.
- 28:35Speaker 2: You got that extension which was wild.
- 28:40Speaker 3: How long is his face is so red too? You're one,
- 28:43Speaker 3: this will be there one year, Yeah.
- 28:45Speaker 2: This will be three, This will be three already.
- 28:47Speaker 3: I thought it was going into two.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Yeah, this will be three.
- 28:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:52Speaker 6: Oh time flies, buddy, it does. Yeah, definitely, do not
- 28:55Speaker 6: make it at twenty thirty. He ain't making it all right, Well,
- 28:58Speaker 6: there are you going to do to get fire? I mean,
- 29:02Speaker 6: if they go I know, That's what I'm saying. It
- 29:07Speaker 6: is funny.
- 29:07Speaker 4: So you talked about the quarterback position in the clips
- 29:10Speaker 4: and looking good against air and do we do you
- 29:12Speaker 4: have to you can overanalyze LSU's posting a lot of clips,
- 29:16Speaker 4: which sure is great, and a lot you see some
- 29:18Speaker 4: really good throws on Long Street. But it's like, also,
- 29:21Speaker 4: they're not going to post bad throats, so you're only
- 29:23Speaker 4: going to see the what it's worth.
- 29:25Speaker 2: I uh, but it watched every throw.
- 29:27Speaker 5: Sam Levitt miss three and one was a drop, so
- 29:30Speaker 5: he a little bit over threw a back shoulder thrown.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Uh overthrew his first deep post a.
- 29:38Speaker 5: Little more on the money, and then a drop by
- 29:39Speaker 5: Jason Brown on a slant.
- 29:42Speaker 4: The mechanics mechanically sound, yeah, look fun, that's great. Injury,
- 29:48Speaker 4: no limping, no, but again he's taking a fifty percent speed,
- 29:53Speaker 4: three step drop and throwing it.
- 29:54Speaker 2: So even if he even if he.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Was yeah, yes, that's a lot of stuff out.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Of even if he probably wouldn't be able to tell.
- 30:03Speaker 2: But now we didn't look hurt.
- 30:05Speaker 3: The receivers don't look fast either because they're running fifty
- 30:09Speaker 3: All right.
- 30:09Speaker 4: There it is price report, LSU going undefeated this year.
- 30:12Speaker 4: That's what I got from it. Now we will we'll
- 30:17Speaker 4: look forward to uh. It is that that's why it
- 30:19Speaker 4: is interesting and fun to watch, like the clips at
- 30:20Speaker 4: LSU's posting and other clips that come out from there
- 30:24Speaker 4: of LSU receivers going against the DB's and stuff and
- 30:27Speaker 4: getting to see.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Your LSU Tigers actually play a little football.
- 30:30Speaker 4: And that's pretty much the only place you're getting it
- 30:31Speaker 4: right now is from LSU social media posts and so.
- 30:36Speaker 4: But we're going to look forward to media availabilities hopefully
- 30:39Speaker 4: picking up throughout the throughout training camp and more information
- 30:42Speaker 4: and we will bring it to you all here on
- 30:45Speaker 4: off the bench every single day. All right, let's go
- 30:49Speaker 4: to break, we come back. We're going to talk a
- 30:50Speaker 4: little bit of Saints when we get back. Are you

- 31:08Speaker 4: You were plumbing experts in the greater Baton Viage area
- 31:12Speaker 4: and Lafayette as well. They got that new office opened
- 31:14Speaker 4: up over there in Lafayette. Central Plumbing been doing it
- 31:18Speaker 4: a long long time, a third generation plumbing company, the
- 31:21Speaker 4: Pain family has been doing it a long time and
- 31:24Speaker 4: they are your experts in commercial plumbing, residential plumbing, it
- 31:28Speaker 4: doesn't really matter. And we're talking anything with water lines,
- 31:31Speaker 4: talking anything with gas lines.
- 31:32Speaker 2: They've done it for me. They've done it for me
- 31:34Speaker 2: both at my house. If we've had we.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Had a leak when we first got in, we moved
- 31:38Speaker 4: into an older house, had a lot of stuff that
- 31:40Speaker 4: we had to do at our house. But also at
- 31:42Speaker 4: the business side of things. They took a warehouse that
- 31:45Speaker 4: was four cinder block walls and a roof and basically
- 31:49Speaker 4: turned it into a full food and beverage manufacturing facility.
- 31:52Speaker 4: We're talking with water lines, gas lines, a full boiler, everything,
- 31:56Speaker 4: so there is nothing too big, nothing too small. Twenty
- 31:58Speaker 4: four to seven emergency service as well. Check them out
- 32:00Speaker 4: two day at Central Plumbing dot org.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Still pay say.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Tigers turn talkers. This is off the.
- 32:17Speaker 9: Bench, all right, welcome back here Off the Bench Monday morning, Monday, Monday, Monday,
- 32:36Speaker 9: Welcome in.
- 32:36Speaker 2: If you are in the car.
- 32:38Speaker 4: Listening, headed a car pool, whatever it is, I hope
- 32:40Speaker 4: you'll have a great day at school, have a great
- 32:42Speaker 4: day at work. We appreciate you tuning in to off
- 32:45Speaker 4: the Bench on Monday, Monday, Monday.
- 32:46Speaker 3: We talked sports.
- 32:48Speaker 4: Jacobe Pastor, of course, is still traveling the countryside. Uh
- 32:52Speaker 4: bring them doing a lot of great content too, with
- 32:54Speaker 4: a serious show and serious ExM. Not like serious content.
- 32:59Speaker 4: We're serious content here but at a different training camp
- 33:03Speaker 4: every single week. Really great content. I mean he's interviewing
- 33:08Speaker 4: Josh Allen all the head coaches, had a great interview
- 33:11Speaker 4: with Aaron Rodgers a couple of days ago.
- 33:13Speaker 3: That has been I heard it. They were playing.
- 33:15Speaker 4: They played like a two or three minute clip of
- 33:17Speaker 4: it this morning on the morning show Driving in. Aaron
- 33:21Speaker 4: really opened it up to Jacob and his and his
- 33:23Speaker 4: co host over there at Serious XM.
- 33:24Speaker 3: I like to take a lot of credit for that.
- 33:26Speaker 4: I gave him some good icebreakers to lead in on
- 33:28Speaker 4: the conversation with Aaron. All the secrets let us guard down.
- 33:32Speaker 3: A little bit. So a lot of great stuff. So
- 33:36Speaker 3: we'll see if we.
- 33:36Speaker 4: Can throughout the week, if we can catch up with
- 33:39Speaker 4: Jacob and see where he is at Taylor.
- 33:40Speaker 2: Do you know where he is today?
- 33:44Speaker 3: I can't.
- 33:44Speaker 2: I don't know if he told us, but he has been.
- 33:47Speaker 2: I was gonna make something. I don't know.
- 33:49Speaker 6: Yeah, I know he's doing a really good job though.
- 33:50Speaker 6: That's probably even better than Jake. Kat Oh my god,
- 33:55Speaker 6: imagine what's to deal with five kids?
- 33:58Speaker 3: School, starting football, starting football practices. I mean, she's running
- 34:03Speaker 3: a freaking ship over there with five kids by herself.
- 34:08Speaker 6: Just gallavant and talking to football life like he's in
- 34:10Speaker 6: his He's loving every second of it.
- 34:12Speaker 3: Everything he's got. And Katie's got.
- 34:14Speaker 6: You know how many different practices she got this week,
- 34:16Speaker 6: no doubt, different school, no doubt they all know at
- 34:20Speaker 6: least they all go to all of you high now
- 34:23Speaker 6: yeah except for the baby.
- 34:24Speaker 4: Except for the baby. Had a great conversation with her
- 34:29Speaker 4: Harlow a couple of weeks ago. Jacob's football camp fantastic,
- 34:33Speaker 4: no favorite color, animal, all the things I got it anyway. Yeah,
- 34:38Speaker 4: we'll see if throughout the week can catch up with Jake,
- 34:39Speaker 4: maybe get some more interviews. He had a great interview
- 34:41Speaker 4: with our guy Kelvin Sheppard the other day that we
- 34:44Speaker 4: played on Friday, So great stuff over they were Richard
- 34:47Speaker 4: Dixon filling in the Launder's out as well, got Luke
- 34:50Speaker 4: holding down the audio.
- 34:51Speaker 6: Of course, Razor's dad, Taylor Chilling throwing it down. What
- 34:56Speaker 6: did you shake your head for? You hate that?
- 34:59Speaker 3: Not to be proud or.
- 35:02Speaker 6: I don't think he's being identified now, not as Taylor
- 35:05Speaker 6: but his razors.
- 35:06Speaker 2: It's fine, I'll take it, all right.
- 35:10Speaker 3: What are kids missed the bus this morning? Huh?
- 35:13Speaker 6: I'm just looking at the text messages kids, Miss Jackson
- 35:16Speaker 6: did believe now they're all the way to school.
- 35:19Speaker 3: All right.
- 35:19Speaker 4: It's always something, all right, Let's go take a look
- 35:24Speaker 4: over at Saints Price or Ross Jackson bring in the
- 35:28Speaker 4: Saints report almost daily over there at Louisiana Sports Dot.
- 35:32Speaker 4: That very in depth. You can get as in depth
- 35:34Speaker 4: as you want to with Saints practice. You can go
- 35:37Speaker 4: every day. He's basically given you a play by play
- 35:39Speaker 4: report on how everybody's looking plays, what happened, you know,
- 35:43Speaker 4: incompletes here runs left, runs right, completion, touchdown, path, interception.
- 35:47Speaker 4: He's kind of got it all down, and then he
- 35:49Speaker 4: kind of also breaks it down as well. And it
- 35:51Speaker 4: kind of sounds like for most of training camp so
- 35:53Speaker 4: far with the Saints that the defense has been the
- 35:58Speaker 4: winner of most days.
- 35:59Speaker 3: If you're having to pick, which is not.
- 36:01Speaker 4: Uncommon for the training camp, Trent usually training camp first
- 36:04Speaker 4: week or two, defense really kind of takes over.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Well.
- 36:07Speaker 6: It takes a lot more time for the offense to
- 36:08Speaker 6: get their stuff together, get on the same page, get
- 36:12Speaker 6: all your steps down together. And the defense is just reacting,
- 36:14Speaker 6: so they're flying around a lot faster. I always had
- 36:17Speaker 6: a little less thinking defense. People are dumb. Yeah, you know,
- 36:20Speaker 6: you don't have to think as much on defense. You
- 36:22Speaker 6: got your keys, guy moves go.
- 36:27Speaker 4: But I do believe Ross Jackson's reports at day eight
- 36:30Speaker 4: the offense really came alive. Tyler Shuck had a very
- 36:33Speaker 4: nice day. Uh And I got it. Which day was day?
- 36:36Speaker 4: Would that be?
- 36:37Speaker 2: Think that was Saturday?
- 36:38Speaker 6: I believe because now you're seeing the day they got
- 36:41Speaker 6: the starting offense lineman out for the year with an
- 36:42Speaker 6: ACL it's.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Right, mm hmm.
- 36:45Speaker 4: Now, I don't know if he was in the starting
- 36:47Speaker 4: five rotation, but certainly like the epitome of what a
- 36:50Speaker 4: six man is on offensive line. But I believe he
- 36:53Speaker 4: did start ten games past. But I mean, the sixth
- 36:57Speaker 4: man is a very important position. Like in Green Bay
- 36:59Speaker 4: we had every every team you got that guy.
- 37:02Speaker 2: He ends up. He's a sixth man.
- 37:03Speaker 4: He's not a start in five at the beginning of
- 37:05Speaker 4: the year, but he's gonna start three games of right guard,
- 37:08Speaker 4: going to start a couple at right tackleitation. Yeah, and
- 37:12Speaker 4: just plays a lot so a big a big loss
- 37:15Speaker 4: and a training camp casualty and every team deals with
- 37:19Speaker 4: this stuff, every team.
- 37:20Speaker 3: That's not you know, it's not just the Saints. It's
- 37:22Speaker 3: not just like the bad luck Saints.
- 37:24Speaker 6: But it just seems like the Saints offensive line definitely
- 37:27Speaker 6: the last few years that's been the kind of the
- 37:30Speaker 6: bugger booth for them. They keep getting injuries on the
- 37:32Speaker 6: offensive line and they haven't had been able to keep
- 37:35Speaker 6: a you know, a good group together.
- 37:39Speaker 4: If the Saints want to make a run, win a
- 37:43Speaker 4: weak division and have a chance at the playoffs, like
- 37:47Speaker 4: they have to stay healthy, like they have to have
- 37:50Speaker 4: an above average year from a health standpoint. Of course,
- 37:53Speaker 4: no one's going to be healthy. Obviously, it happens. It's
- 37:57Speaker 4: a collision sport. It's got some big, big not a
- 37:59Speaker 4: luck to it. There is a lot of luck. But Taylor,
- 38:03Speaker 4: we've talked about like they're starting twenty two, that they
- 38:07Speaker 4: roll out there on Week one is going to be
- 38:09Speaker 4: able to at least play with anybody. They're not going
- 38:11Speaker 4: to get blown out of the water. It's when you
- 38:13Speaker 4: start getting into second string, the second team to backups.
- 38:18Speaker 4: What that depth is going to look like. Can you
- 38:21Speaker 4: can you maintain that, but the starting the starting players
- 38:25Speaker 4: for the team are going to be really good. It's
- 38:29Speaker 4: the depth that creates the issue.
- 38:31Speaker 5: Well, and now that Dylan Raidins is out, you have
- 38:34Speaker 5: Jeremiah right who's a rookie who has never played. And
- 38:37Speaker 5: then you have tours Ally Simpkins. He had to start
- 38:40Speaker 5: ten games a year ago because you had so many injuries.
- 38:43Speaker 5: Starting to the fire a little bit, that's fine, but
- 38:45Speaker 5: he's still just the second year player. So yeah, I
- 38:48Speaker 5: mean was Raidn's going to start? Probably some spots starts
- 38:51Speaker 5: here and there, but he was your top depth piece. Also,
- 38:54Speaker 5: Brian Brazy toward his knee last week, Like, let's let's
- 38:57Speaker 5: not forget about that. That was your starting defensive tackle.
- 39:00Speaker 5: Christian Miller, who you drafted in the second round. You're like, okay,
- 39:03Speaker 5: time for him to step up. Christian Miller didn't practice
- 39:05Speaker 5: this weekend. Yeah, you see, he's on the injury repoard
- 39:08Speaker 5: right now. So what does that spot look like? Both
- 39:10Speaker 5: of your interiors right now, there's some injuries. There's some
- 39:14Speaker 5: depth issues there.
- 39:15Speaker 4: Yeah, there is how many just you can't withstand too
- 39:18Speaker 4: many blows, But of course it's tackle football. There's going
- 39:22Speaker 4: to be blows dealt. Can those young guys step up
- 39:24Speaker 4: and play well? Can they step up and grow up fast?
- 39:28Speaker 4: And I'll tell you what, there's a bright spot that
- 39:30Speaker 4: I've seen, a very very bright spot for the Saints team.
- 39:33Speaker 4: A guy that looks like he has grown up really
- 39:35Speaker 4: fast and it looks like he's healthy. Jordan Tyson to me,
- 39:39Speaker 4: has been a wow factor. And Okay, I know that
- 39:44Speaker 4: we're the camp Darling Berry on Brown is having is
- 39:47Speaker 4: having a great camp as well, which we are fired
- 39:49Speaker 4: up about. We think is gonna be a great player
- 39:51Speaker 4: and a great contributor early on as a rookie. But
- 39:54Speaker 4: when I say Jordan Tyson has elite route running abilities,
- 40:01Speaker 4: he might be one of the best route runners in
- 40:03Speaker 4: the NFL by the time the season's over if he
- 40:05Speaker 4: can stay healthy. Now health has been the big issue.
- 40:08Speaker 4: But this guy, the way he can get in and
- 40:10Speaker 4: out of a break, the way he can sky's a route,
- 40:11Speaker 4: the way he can he can his body control and
- 40:15Speaker 4: his acceleration from going from zero to sixty in the
- 40:19Speaker 4: middle of our route is elite. And I'm watching him
- 40:22Speaker 4: and he's playing with a lot of football like us.
- 40:23Speaker 4: Saw a clip the other day where where Schuck was
- 40:27Speaker 4: at the line of scrimmage and he points to the
- 40:28Speaker 4: nickel Sam, not the star, the nickel Sam.
- 40:31Speaker 3: He blitzes off the edge.
- 40:32Speaker 4: Jordan Tyson recognizes it, breaks off his route, and they
- 40:35Speaker 4: hit him off the blitzing edge as two young players.
- 40:39Speaker 4: As a second year quarterback recognizing a blitz. That's a
- 40:42Speaker 4: rookie receiver recognizing a blitz and changing his route and
- 40:46Speaker 4: breaking it off to catch a pass and making an
- 40:47Speaker 4: explosive play. So a lot of good stuff, but absolute
- 40:51Speaker 4: elite route running abilities that I'm seeing from him something
- 40:55Speaker 4: for Saints fans to be very excited. We just still
- 40:58Speaker 4: I think we're all still holding our breath a little
- 41:00Speaker 4: bit from the health factor with him. But I mean,
- 41:03Speaker 4: the way I see him accelerating and running routes, it
- 41:06Speaker 4: doesn't look like he's got any issues right now.
- 41:08Speaker 3: No.
- 41:08Speaker 6: Route running is definitely something that everybody's high on them with.
- 41:11Speaker 6: I didn't even know who you were talking about till
- 41:13Speaker 6: he started going, and I was, like, everything I've seen
- 41:14Speaker 6: on social media. They're breaking down his routes. They're comparing
- 41:17Speaker 6: him to other receivers and other guys that you know,
- 41:19Speaker 6: Hall of Fame receivers and how they ran their routes.
- 41:22Speaker 6: He does an awesome job. I mean, they've compared him
- 41:25Speaker 6: to every one of the great route running receivers you've seen,
- 41:27Speaker 6: and he's great. It comes right out of his break
- 41:30Speaker 6: just like him. Yeah, it's been good stuff. So excited
- 41:32Speaker 6: to see that all year long. All Right, we're gonna
- 41:35Speaker 6: got a break. And guess what.
- 41:36Speaker 4: Somebody got inducted to the Hall of Fame this past weekend,
- 41:39Speaker 4: played for the Saints, mister Drew Brees. We're gonna talk
- 41:41Speaker 4: about that when we come back right here and off
- 41:43Speaker 4: the bench.
- 41:44Speaker 9: Off the bench, all right, go to trash rangers dot com.
- 41:48Speaker 4: Trash rangers dot com the most reliable trash removal service
- 41:52Speaker 4: in all of Louisiana. And hey, don't also forget about
- 41:55Speaker 4: the waste removal trash Rangers sanitation department.
- 41:59Speaker 3: That's portable toilets, y'all.
- 42:01Speaker 4: Don't rely on these national brands, these portable toilet companies.
- 42:05Speaker 4: If you have a company that works outside, a construction company,
- 42:08Speaker 4: some sort of crew that's working outside, and you got
- 42:10Speaker 4: a special project, maybe you just have a big event
- 42:12Speaker 4: coming up in the fall that you're throwing a party
- 42:15Speaker 4: or something like that, and you need that portable toilet.
- 42:17Speaker 4: Make sure you give trash Rangers a call. They got
- 42:19Speaker 4: their sanitation department, it's the best in the business. Their
- 42:23Speaker 4: customer service, their delivery times, everything's that pick up, all
- 42:27Speaker 4: the removal, everything first class that go check them out.
- 42:31Speaker 4: But at the heart of everything, they are best at
- 42:33Speaker 4: trash removal. We're talking a commercially, we're talking residential trash cans.
- 42:37Speaker 4: They'll give you those text reminders, Richard. I know that
- 42:39Speaker 4: won't help you. You'll still forget, but they will text

- 42:45Speaker 4: at trash rangers dot com.
- 43:00Speaker 3: It represents you. God bless you.
- 43:10Speaker 4: All Right, there is mister Drew Brees getting inducted getting
- 43:14Speaker 4: the gold jacket this weekend. Of course, we've known Drew
- 43:19Speaker 4: Brees getting inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame
- 43:22Speaker 4: for quite a while now, but it is officially official.
- 43:26Speaker 4: Great scenes this past weekend from Canton As What seemed
- 43:32Speaker 4: like the inductions and the speeches kind of went on
- 43:35Speaker 4: all day, didn't they. It seemed like every time I
- 43:37Speaker 4: turned it on, you know, it was Larry Fitzgerald or
- 43:40Speaker 4: Vinetaria started about eight am.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Early some eight nine somewhere in there.
- 43:44Speaker 4: That's a big to do, but rightfully so, a huge event,
- 43:49Speaker 4: star studded situation, and just some really great speeches that
- 43:53Speaker 4: came out of out of the Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
- 43:58Speaker 4: Most notable for all of us, of course Sean Payton
- 44:01Speaker 4: and Drew Brees. Sean Payton introducing and how.
- 44:06Speaker 2: How long was Drew Brees's speech? Do we know? Does
- 44:10Speaker 2: it say about ten minutes? Yeah?
- 44:12Speaker 3: It was, it was, but it was very good.
- 44:16Speaker 4: Said all the things that you want to hear as
- 44:19Speaker 4: a as a Saints fan, all the things that you
- 44:21Speaker 4: kind of you know, expected to hear. But you never
- 44:24Speaker 4: really know how these speeches are going to go, where
- 44:26Speaker 4: where they're going to take it. And certainly a lot
- 44:28Speaker 4: of credit and a lot of admiration and a lot
- 44:33Speaker 4: of emotion went into his speech when talking about.
- 44:36Speaker 3: Louisiana and in New Orleans. So awesome deal.
- 44:40Speaker 6: Congratulations to Drew Brees, one of the greatest quarterbacks to
- 44:45Speaker 6: ever put on a helmet and throw football. So some
- 44:48Speaker 6: of his former teammates got to go up there with him.
- 44:49Speaker 6: Alvin Commatamas practice to be there, yep. Cameron Jordan rightfully.
- 44:54Speaker 2: So he went almost he went almost twenty Drew Drew
- 44:58Speaker 2: had almost twenty.
- 45:02Speaker 6: Seohn Payton missing practice as well. Yeah he's still you know,
- 45:05Speaker 6: coaches football.
- 45:08Speaker 3: He put the script together before you leave.
- 45:10Speaker 2: He put a couple of scripts together for sure.
- 45:12Speaker 3: All right, we're gonna break be Back hour a number
- 45:14Speaker 3: two on.
