- 1:52Speaker 1: going to make one change to it, but my bracket
- 1:56Speaker 1: is pretty much filled out. The writer will be here
- 2:01Speaker 1: in the second hour of the program. The Aggie basketball
- 2:06Speaker 1: team is not headed across country. They're going up I
- 2:10Speaker 1: thirty five and beyond to Oklahoma City, where they will

- 2:22Speaker 1: on Thursday evening. Dough toot it at six thirty six.
- 2:25Speaker 1: You'll miss a minute. It will be on True TV.
- 2:29Speaker 1: We will carry the broadcast beginning at six here on
- 2:33Speaker 1: our partner station sixteen to twenty wta W Alabama star
- 2:42Speaker 1: Aiden Holloway has been arrested on a felony drug charge.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Tuscaloosa County Police say that Holloway was arrested this morning,
- 2:52Speaker 1: transported into county jail. Bond set at five thousand dollars.
- 2:58Speaker 1: He has been bonded out six to one Juniors is
- 3:04Speaker 1: their second leading score, averaging almost seventeen points per game.
- 3:10Speaker 1: He was charged with the first degree possession of marijuana
- 3:15Speaker 1: more than a pound, paraphernalia and cash, so it is
- 3:21Speaker 1: a third degree felony. Natoates is used to that. Remember,
- 3:26Speaker 1: there was a murder a few years ago. Their best
- 3:32Speaker 1: player didn't do it. He allegedly provided the gun, the
- 3:36Speaker 1: weapon in the murder. But hey, that was fine. He played.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I expect Holloway to play little Grass Pop is not
- 3:44Speaker 1: going to keep him off the court. Butlerstad Mada is retiring.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Mada will remain with the school as special Assistant to
- 3:54Speaker 1: the President and Athletic director. Fourth season as his second
- 4:00Speaker 1: stint with the Butlers, won over five hundred games thirteen
- 4:06Speaker 1: tournament appearances. Xavier, Ohio State led the Musketeers to three
- 4:11Speaker 1: straight in seed double as an elite eight run in
- 4:14Speaker 1: two thousand and four, and all was with the Buckeyes
- 4:21Speaker 1: thirteen years and went to nine tournaments. Penny Hardaway is
- 4:26Speaker 1: coming back as head coach of Memphis, which may surprise some.
- 4:32Speaker 1: After multiple meetings with the administration. According to ESPN, Hardaway
- 4:37Speaker 1: presented a plan for next season which meant changes on
- 4:41Speaker 1: the coaching staff, hiring a general manager that were thirteen
- 4:46Speaker 1: and nineteen. This year his first losing year in Memphis.
- 4:50Speaker 1: After eight seasons. He has one in ced double, a
- 4:54Speaker 1: tournament win and three appearances in eight years. Aggie baseball
- 5:01Speaker 1: team is hosting tomorrow Steven F. Is it Stephen F.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Austin?
- 5:08Speaker 1: That didn't sound right. That was last week. I got
- 5:11Speaker 1: them all mixed up. They just lost two out of
- 5:14Speaker 1: three up in Norman. They played in Whether yesterday. No
- 5:18Speaker 1: baseball team should should have to play in Frankly, but
- 5:23Speaker 1: I mean, that's not why they lost Texas State. They're
- 5:27Speaker 1: better than Steven F. Austin. I do know that that
- 5:31Speaker 1: game is at six tomorrow. That will mean we will
- 5:35Speaker 1: be off the air at five forty five for the
- 5:39Speaker 1: pregame show tomorrow. There will be no sports Talk Thursday
- 5:44Speaker 1: and Friday. Plan accordingly, we have Wall Thewall in CAA
- 5:50Speaker 1: basketball which will be interrupted on Friday by Aggie Baseball.
- 5:57Speaker 1: So keep that in mind, okay, and we'll talk baseball
- 6:03Speaker 1: coming up here in a little bit in with the
- 6:06Speaker 1: writers as well. Speaking of baseball, the United States beat
- 6:16Speaker 1: the Dominican Republic two to one last night. The DR
- 6:23Speaker 1: was averaging ten runs a game. They will be in
- 6:27Speaker 1: the World Baseball Classic Finals against either Italy or Venezuela.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Those two teams play in the semifinals tonight between the
- 6:38Speaker 1: US and the DR. Listen to this. The lineups had
- 6:43Speaker 1: combined for over twenty eight hundred home runs. This is
- 6:49Speaker 1: in major leagues, okay. Eighty eight hundred runs scored, seventy
- 6:54Speaker 1: six hundred walks. Fourteen of the starting eighteen received the
- 7:00Speaker 1: PEE votes last year. Aaron Judge called it the best
- 7:05Speaker 1: of the best, and he said the WBC crowds are
- 7:09Speaker 1: quote bigger and better than the World Series. The crowd
- 7:14Speaker 1: here meeting in Houston, the crowd we had when we
- 7:18Speaker 1: played Mexico. It's bigger and better than the World Series.
- 7:22Speaker 1: The passion these fans have nothing like it. The US
- 7:27Speaker 1: kept the DR fans mostly quiet last night in that
- 7:32Speaker 1: two to one game, and they were helped out by
- 7:37Speaker 1: a horrible third strike call to end the game with
- 7:40Speaker 1: the tying run for the dr on second base last night.
- 7:44Speaker 1: But hey, we don't care. The US won. They're in
- 7:48Speaker 1: the finals. And new Rangers manager Skip Schumacher announcing that
- 7:55Speaker 1: Nathan of Valdi will start the season opener March at
- 8:01Speaker 1: Philadelphia and Jacob de Gram will be the home opener
- 8:07Speaker 1: starter April third. We will be at that game on
- 8:14Speaker 1: that Friday in Arlington for the Rangers home opener, reporting
- 8:21Speaker 1: for you the listener on Friday, April third. It's been
- 8:26Speaker 1: a while since the Rangers started the season on the
- 8:30Speaker 1: road and not at home, so forgot that going now
- 8:36Speaker 1: tomorrow we have our we'll have our high school report,
- 8:42Speaker 1: we'll have some more in basketball preview. We will also
- 8:47Speaker 1: have author John Butler. His book is called Heartland Highways
- 8:56Speaker 1: in Search of America. It's a finalist for the Book
- 9:00Speaker 1: the Year Award and the winner of the American Writing Award.
- 9:06Speaker 1: John Butler will join us tomorrow to talk about his book,
- 9:11Speaker 1: Heartland Highways in Search of America. And I think you
- 9:17Speaker 1: will enjoy that. Okay, we're going to take a break,
- 9:23Speaker 1: We're going to come back. We got a lot of basketball.
- 9:27Speaker 1: That's tomorrow's show. Wednesday, Scott Clindennon will be with us.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Mallory will be with us on Wednesday. Steve Ditton, a
- 9:35Speaker 1: and m men's tennis coach, will join us on Wednesday

- 11:35Speaker 3: Fans come from Saturday night fans, not back up from
- 11:40Speaker 3: singing whine.
- 11:43Speaker 7: It's organic and it comes.
- 11:45Speaker 1: From the vine. It's also legal line it gets you
- 11:49Speaker 1: so high, not sung me whine. Viv Terlingua was the
- 11:58Speaker 1: album that started the Texas music scene. It could be
- 12:03Speaker 1: argued or that took it, I would say to another level,
- 12:11Speaker 1: and it just it became one of those iconic albums,
- 12:18Speaker 1: and Jerry Jeff became one of those iconic Texas singer
- 12:23Speaker 1: songwriters from New York via Key West at New Orleans.
- 12:30Speaker 1: But when he showed up in Austin, everything changed. We're
- 12:35Speaker 1: celebrating Jackie Jack's birthday. He would have been eighty four today.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Glad to have you with us. Yesterday, Man one of
- 12:45Speaker 1: the last team announced, and I kept saying they're good.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I mean they're in there, we know they're in and
- 12:51Speaker 1: then it was seven to ten and you're going, well,
- 12:54Speaker 1: I don't think they jumped up to a seventh but
- 12:56Speaker 1: you know, you never know what the committee's going to do.
- 12:59Speaker 1: But in that South regional, uh, they got the ten seed.
- 13:06Speaker 1: They will play Thursday evening. Here is Bucky after the announcement.
- 13:12Speaker 8: You know, Frank caught it.
- 13:14Speaker 9: Frank coach eighth, caught us that I think we're gonna
- 13:15Speaker 9: get Saint Mary's in Oak City. Like really, all right,
- 13:20Speaker 9: Saint Mary's in Oak City. We got good memories in
- 13:22Speaker 9: Oak City, don't we? For the Aggies's just not find
- 13:24Speaker 9: ourselves down by twelve about a minute, Well, what do
- 13:29Speaker 9: you know about Saint Mary's any any initial I mean
- 13:32Speaker 9: they're good every year.
- 13:33Speaker 8: They're tough.
- 13:33Speaker 9: I mean they're tough, they're well coached, they smart, got
- 13:36Speaker 9: good guard play. Usually they've got size, you know, dangerous team.
- 13:43Speaker 9: You know, like they all are all right. So you know,
- 13:46Speaker 9: if someone asked me anybody that you, uh, you don't
- 13:48Speaker 9: want to play, He's like, yeah, I don't want to
- 13:49Speaker 9: play any of them, you know, but that's just adventure.
- 13:51Speaker 9: Then say tournament. I mean, there's it's always a it's
- 13:53Speaker 9: always gonna be a tough matchup. So you play well,
- 13:57Speaker 9: you give yourself a chance. That's what it comes down.
- 13:58Speaker 10: To up would you rather be going in?
- 14:03Speaker 11: Hop you set?
- 14:04Speaker 8: You say, as how do you feel about.
- 14:06Speaker 10: Just about where the team is going into determined.
- 14:09Speaker 12: Off but a game that obviously wasn't one of your
- 14:11Speaker 12: best feel somewhat confident that that will fuel them and
- 14:19Speaker 12: the way that they will react a positive way, or
- 14:21Speaker 12: you know, how do you feel like the mindset?
- 14:23Speaker 9: The good thing is that we're able to practice, like
- 14:26Speaker 9: we had two practice yesterday, one to day and we
- 14:28Speaker 9: haven't been a really practice in a while just because
- 14:30Speaker 9: we're trying to get through that gauntlet of sec play.
- 14:33Speaker 9: And so the positive since we did lose on Thursday
- 14:38Speaker 9: that we got to really practice hard.
- 14:39Speaker 8: Which I think is gonna help us.
- 14:40Speaker 9: We need to get back to that and being able
- 14:42Speaker 9: to practice and clean some things up, which I thought
- 14:45Speaker 9: we had some really good practice here.
- 14:47Speaker 10: What does it mean to you to be here in
- 14:49Speaker 10: their first first year here?
- 14:51Speaker 8: It means a lot.
- 14:52Speaker 9: I mean, like when we set out, like I know
- 14:56Speaker 9: a lot of people probably when we didn't have a roster,
- 14:58Speaker 9: we're piecing together a lot of people know, hey could
- 15:00Speaker 9: you could we get in there?
- 15:01Speaker 8: And I thought this script could I did?
- 15:04Speaker 10: I did?
- 15:04Speaker 9: From the start, I thought we could get in there.
- 15:06Speaker 9: Mackenzie gets hurt, and we knew we have to really
- 15:08Speaker 9: play well in SEC League play. But you know, to
- 15:12Speaker 9: to the SEC's the toughest league in the country top
- 15:16Speaker 9: to bottom. To finished tied for fourth in that league.
- 15:19Speaker 9: It would have been a travesty if these guys didn't
- 15:22Speaker 9: get the opportunity, because that means they brought it pretty
- 15:25Speaker 9: much every night over over the course of eighteen games, and.
- 15:29Speaker 8: So it means a lot.
- 15:30Speaker 9: And I'm really happy for these these players here that
- 15:31Speaker 9: because a lot of them hadn't got to experience it,
- 15:33Speaker 9: and there's nothing like it, you know, to.
- 15:35Speaker 8: That point the uniqueness of it.
- 15:38Speaker 10: Having veterans that have been there, like Ryland, how important
- 15:40Speaker 10: is it to lean on guys like that in a
- 15:41Speaker 10: moment like this.
- 15:42Speaker 9: I think it's important because I think you got a
- 15:44Speaker 9: decision to make. You can either go to be a
- 15:46Speaker 9: part of the show, you know, and part of the circus,
- 15:49Speaker 9: or you can go to play good basketball. And I
- 15:52Speaker 9: think those that have been there can you know, really
- 15:55Speaker 9: affect others by telling them like, look, we're going there,
- 15:58Speaker 9: we want to be back here next weekend talking about
- 16:00Speaker 9: Sweet sixteen, not that we just had a fun trip, right.
- 16:03Speaker 9: I mean the feeling when you play in the NC Tournament.
- 16:07Speaker 9: Our coaching's the same way. When I was at Sanford
- 16:08Speaker 9: and we did it like we were a thirteen seed
- 16:11Speaker 9: playing Kansas, but when they tipped that ball up, it
- 16:14Speaker 9: hits you that you're playing for a national championship. Like
- 16:17Speaker 9: That's what makes nca tournaments so great. I don't care
- 16:19Speaker 9: if the sixteen seed the thirteen seed like we were, ten.
- 16:23Speaker 8: Doesn't matter. You're playing for a national championship.
- 16:25Speaker 9: And so many seeds from have done things and made
- 16:28Speaker 9: it deep in the tournament, got to the final four,
- 16:31Speaker 9: and that's what makes the tournament so great.
- 16:33Speaker 10: How was this roster kind of grown and developed over
- 16:36Speaker 10: the course of the year to get themselves to this game.
- 16:39Speaker 9: It's a true definition of a bunch of individuals coming
- 16:42Speaker 9: together to form into a team. I mean, there's no
- 16:44Speaker 9: greater example than that. We had more turnover than every
- 16:47Speaker 9: other team in college basketball. We had no returning scholarship players,
- 16:52Speaker 9: so we literally and go I'd be interested to see
- 16:55Speaker 9: those that got in that large bid if anyone had
- 16:58Speaker 9: dealt with that, Like, go look at the large bids.
- 17:01Speaker 9: You know, most of the teams that were in our situation.
- 17:04Speaker 9: They're not in the tournament right now. They may have
- 17:06Speaker 9: had some glimpses, but they didn't. They weren't able to
- 17:08Speaker 9: sustain it because they didn't have enough invested in each
- 17:10Speaker 9: other when things got tough to keep going. So for
- 17:14Speaker 9: this group to make it, they literally had to take
- 17:16Speaker 9: guys and never played with each other and become a
- 17:18Speaker 9: true team to fight through that verse. You're gonna see
- 17:20Speaker 9: through the season and play play good enough basketball to
- 17:22Speaker 9: make it.
- 17:23Speaker 12: Fucky, you said that you got of you expected this
- 17:27Speaker 12: and everybody knows the situation. You've walked into here and
- 17:31Speaker 12: you were what pick thirteenth or fourteenth and this he said,
- 17:33Speaker 12: So what did you see and know about this team
- 17:36Speaker 12: that nobody else did?
- 17:38Speaker 9: They were older. I saw that they were good people.
- 17:42Speaker 9: And you will say, I know that sounds like cliche.
- 17:44Speaker 9: Is everybody that sounds like their runner up trophy a
- 17:46Speaker 9: lot of times when people say that, But like, I've
- 17:48Speaker 9: just been a part of this long enough that if
- 17:50Speaker 9: there's a baseline level of talent and they're good enough people,
- 17:53Speaker 9: they're gonna have an opportunity to get through the tough
- 17:57Speaker 9: And I think that's probably what separated our group more
- 17:59Speaker 9: than a lot of teams that that you know, they
- 18:01Speaker 9: had a better non league, may had a little more,
- 18:03Speaker 9: you know, maybe had more NBA players or something.
- 18:06Speaker 8: Is that we were able to.
- 18:09Speaker 9: Win close games and then when we things didn't go great,
- 18:12Speaker 9: we were able to snap back and keep improving. And
- 18:16Speaker 9: that's what kind of separated You do that with good
- 18:18Speaker 9: people that are mature enough with the base on level
- 18:20Speaker 9: of talent. You know, I'm not going to say that
- 18:25Speaker 9: I was doing jumping jacks for joy when Mackenzie got hurt.
- 18:28Speaker 8: I mean, you know that was tough. I didn't.
- 18:31Speaker 9: I wasn't concerned when we I really wasn't concerned when
- 18:35Speaker 9: we lost to Oklahoma States as bad as we did
- 18:36Speaker 9: early in the season because I knew just where we
- 18:40Speaker 9: were and that.
- 18:41Speaker 8: Was up front about that.
- 18:43Speaker 9: But if you go back and you look at some
- 18:46Speaker 9: of the the tough losses early or where we were
- 18:50Speaker 9: early and see where we are and where some of
- 18:52Speaker 9: the other teams are not, speaks a lot about our team.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Right.
- 18:56Speaker 9: It's about where you can get to and how you
- 18:57Speaker 9: can persefere to get to play for a national championship.
- 19:01Speaker 10: How do you kind of balance the excitement and staying
- 19:03Speaker 10: focused at the same.
- 19:04Speaker 9: Time, I just think that if you have the right
- 19:08Speaker 9: mindset with these players and these veterans, they're not eighteen
- 19:11Speaker 9: years old and seventeen years old, and this isn't about
- 19:15Speaker 9: going to the county fair like their competitors, and they're
- 19:19Speaker 9: great competitors, so they want to do well in it.
- 19:21Speaker 9: And you know, anything can happen tournament basketball, but nothing's
- 19:27Speaker 9: going to happen if you don't play well.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Well.
- 19:29Speaker 13: You're talking about diversity.
- 19:30Speaker 10: You did mention you know you're going to go through
- 19:32Speaker 10: some adversity.
- 19:33Speaker 7: You guys have some.
- 19:34Speaker 14: Downfalls in sec play.
- 19:35Speaker 2: How are you guys going to overcome it? And what
- 19:36Speaker 2: do you hope to see the.
- 19:37Speaker 10: Guys do in March?
- 19:39Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean you got to know that, Like you know,
- 19:42Speaker 9: years ago when A and M was down by twelve
- 19:44Speaker 9: in Oklahoma City City, it was the greatest example of
- 19:46Speaker 9: the adversity that you're going to see that they were
- 19:48Speaker 9: able to overcome to get past that round and make
- 19:51Speaker 9: it the Sweet sixteen. You have that through a course
- 19:53Speaker 9: of the season, You're danger're going to have it through
- 19:55Speaker 9: the course of the game. We've shown glimpses this season
- 19:58Speaker 9: where things weren't great. We've come back and made great runs.
- 20:01Speaker 9: But it's just going to be that steady consistency in
- 20:04Speaker 9: this tournament versus a team that is known to be
- 20:06Speaker 9: really consistent. I mean, you know, Saint Mary's is a
- 20:08Speaker 9: very consistent, level headed team. They've been to tournament several times,
- 20:12Speaker 9: they've made runs, They've had NBA players, So you know,
- 20:16Speaker 9: to give yourself a chance, you can't, you know, mentally,
- 20:19Speaker 9: let one play effect the next play.
- 20:22Speaker 1: A lot of people bought into the ideology of you relying,
- 20:24Speaker 1: and I bought into it. So can you talk a
- 20:25Speaker 1: little bit about what this needs for the twelve man?
- 20:27Speaker 3: Is the community here and.
- 20:29Speaker 8: We wouldn't do it without, you know, the support here.
- 20:32Speaker 9: And like when like I, when we got here, we
- 20:36Speaker 9: had one player on the roster, so you go to
- 20:39Speaker 9: meet with the team, there's one player and then you
- 20:42Speaker 9: look at selection Sunday and it's the whole community here.
- 20:45Speaker 9: That's I mean, that speaks volumes about what this is
- 20:47Speaker 9: about here. And this won't be our first n State tournament.
- 20:51Speaker 9: You'll one day we'll get to a final four here,
- 20:54Speaker 9: hopefully in two weeks. But if it's not one day,
- 20:57Speaker 9: one day we'll get there. And the most fun times
- 21:02Speaker 9: is when everyone had ownership in a program and everybody
- 21:05Speaker 9: had to come together in a community, had to rally
- 21:07Speaker 9: together to make it happen. And that's what that's what
- 21:10Speaker 9: we've done this season to make this happen. And we
- 21:12Speaker 9: got to keep going on.
- 21:13Speaker 7: Until you talk about the honesty you are about the
- 21:15Speaker 7: talent and the roster you have.
- 21:17Speaker 1: So when you look at tournament play, you always said
- 21:18Speaker 1: this is tournament's sport.
- 21:19Speaker 8: Do you think your team is built to have its
- 21:21Speaker 8: best run at this time of year.
- 21:23Speaker 9: I think that we're a hard matchup for teams after
- 21:27Speaker 9: the first game because there's a little prep time. Right
- 21:32Speaker 9: when our guards are playing well, we're a very tough matchup.
- 21:35Speaker 9: Guards are gonna guards have to play well in March.
- 21:38Speaker 9: Like when you look at it, you look at who
- 21:40Speaker 9: won the SEC this year, this year the tournament, you
- 21:43Speaker 9: have pretty good guard there, right, you look when we
- 21:46Speaker 9: played well, our guards have played really well.
- 21:48Speaker 8: I think we got very capable guards and some that have.
- 21:52Speaker 9: Been in this moment and when they're playing well, I
- 21:54Speaker 9: think we're capable playing with anybody in the tournament.
- 21:57Speaker 8: Went to the last region of announci guys or the
- 21:59Speaker 8: or the Earth.
- 22:00Speaker 9: There's lesson say I mean I knew we were in
- 22:02Speaker 9: like just watching it and knowing where it all stacked up,
- 22:05Speaker 9: So it was just who we're gonna play? Who would
- 22:08Speaker 9: be the two? See where were we going? So I
- 22:10Speaker 9: love that we're in Oak City because it's close, close
- 22:12Speaker 9: by and there's a history to it. And then from
- 22:15Speaker 9: there it's just like I said, you know, people can say, well,
- 22:18Speaker 9: I wish we'd played this team, or I wish we'd
- 22:19Speaker 9: played that team, or I wish this would have been
- 22:21Speaker 9: the second round game we got past the first one.
- 22:24Speaker 9: But I mean, you don't even know who you're gonna
- 22:27Speaker 9: play in the second round. Honestly, in this tournament, you
- 22:29Speaker 9: know who're gonna play play in the third round. You
- 22:31Speaker 9: only know you got one game, and there's just been
- 22:33Speaker 9: so many deals where it's like, well, hey, if we
- 22:35Speaker 9: get by the first one, we're gonna play this team,
- 22:37Speaker 9: and then if we get back, we're gonna play this team.
- 22:39Speaker 8: You know, all these upsets is crazy. It's just your path.
- 22:42Speaker 9: So it's a one game season right now, and it's
- 22:45Speaker 9: all about you know what we got to do to
- 22:46Speaker 9: play best basketball for Saint Mary's.
- 22:47Speaker 10: And you can go back to the last thing you're Okay,
- 22:49Speaker 10: see were you watching those games?
- 22:52Speaker 8: Where do you do?
- 22:52Speaker 7: You see the highlights?
- 22:53Speaker 10: You remember kind of where you were when you learned
- 22:55Speaker 10: about what happened in that game.
- 22:57Speaker 9: I was watching it live when it happened, and I
- 22:59Speaker 9: texted Mitch Cole and I actually found the text recently
- 23:02Speaker 9: because he had an old phone. And I said, man,
- 23:04Speaker 9: that is unbelievable. He said crazy, and and he said
- 23:08Speaker 9: and he and and in that game, so we we
- 23:12Speaker 9: we run a press. Our press is kind of based
- 23:15Speaker 9: on a little bit of that. This guy that I
- 23:17Speaker 9: played for in college. You know, we didn't press a
- 23:19Speaker 9: lot that the way we line up, and we called
- 23:22Speaker 9: it one forties, right, the press and the press they
- 23:26Speaker 9: ran to get back in that game was our one
- 23:28Speaker 9: forty press. It's the same position. Like it's kind of
- 23:30Speaker 9: unique and how it's described. You know, I just remember
- 23:33Speaker 9: Coach Cole sent me back at one forties, you know,
- 23:35Speaker 9: because the press got still still still and got right
- 23:37Speaker 9: back in the game.
- 23:38Speaker 10: What doesn't mean to be in Okay, see, with the
- 23:41Speaker 10: community aspect of a lot of bagg he's getting to
- 23:43Speaker 10: make the trip up there.
- 23:44Speaker 8: It's great. I mean we need everybody there. I mean,
- 23:46Speaker 8: this is going to be you know, it is what
- 23:48Speaker 8: it is.
- 23:49Speaker 9: You don't get many chances to it's gone rally around
- 23:53Speaker 9: a group like this and it's it's tournament played. There's
- 23:55Speaker 9: nothing greater than say tournament. So well we needed it flooded.
- 23:59Speaker 9: Same bring some people. But uh, last time I checked
- 24:03Speaker 9: the aggies and the Aggie's got the aggies. Man, we
- 24:06Speaker 9: got to show up.
- 24:07Speaker 8: Since you were talking about they came in Oklahoma City.
- 24:10Speaker 4: I want I asked about this.
- 24:12Speaker 12: Billy Kennedy was out of here from the same tonight.
- 24:15Speaker 8: Does you know any you know, what do you think
- 24:17Speaker 8: that says?
- 24:18Speaker 9: I love coach Kennedy. I mean it hangs out comes
- 24:20Speaker 9: by the office and I first got the job.
- 24:23Speaker 8: We talked.
- 24:23Speaker 9: I me, I've known him a long time, and I
- 24:26Speaker 9: mean I know coach Cole had worked for him whenever
- 24:28Speaker 9: that was ten, ten years or whatnot. But you know,
- 24:32Speaker 9: I mean it if it wasn't for what Coach Kenny
- 24:35Speaker 9: them did here. Look, you know he has affected our
- 24:38Speaker 9: team to the positive because we've been able to recruit
- 24:40Speaker 9: better because there's a history of doing something and getting
- 24:42Speaker 9: to the sweet sixteen and having top ten teams in
- 24:44Speaker 9: the country. And one thing that you gotta like about
- 24:47Speaker 9: coach Kennedy. I mean, he could go live wherever he wants,
- 24:49Speaker 9: and you know he stays right here. You know, part
- 24:51Speaker 9: of this community.
- 24:52Speaker 8: The player hasn't experienced the nciator before. He think there's
- 24:55Speaker 8: any explaining you can do what it's like or the instrective.
- 24:58Speaker 7: Figure out themselves did.
- 25:00Speaker 8: The one thing I would say is you can't take
- 25:02Speaker 8: ten minutes.
- 25:03Speaker 9: And I said this said the SEC tournament like someone
- 25:05Speaker 9: had asked me, what is it like, because hey, it's
- 25:07Speaker 9: going to be difficult in the SEC tournament, And you
- 25:10Speaker 9: saw that the teams that had to buy in the
- 25:12Speaker 9: first game the SEC Tournament really struggled because the team
- 25:15Speaker 9: that came to night before, even though they may have been,
- 25:17Speaker 9: you know a little more fatigued, they kind of have
- 25:20Speaker 9: that experience to come right in there and play well.
- 25:22Speaker 9: Then say, tournament's a level playing field with that. But
- 25:25Speaker 9: you can't go into the deal and have a ten
- 25:27Speaker 9: minute you know, start a look in your eye or
- 25:30Speaker 9: the game's over. That's what happened to us for Oklahoma.
- 25:33Speaker 9: Now I can't say that was necessarily the reason. We
- 25:35Speaker 9: just didn't play well. We missed a lot of shots
- 25:37Speaker 9: are in the first ten minutes. But you just can't
- 25:39Speaker 9: have a ten minute warm up into this deal. What
- 25:41Speaker 9: I would say is, look court, it's the same court,
- 25:43Speaker 9: free throw line, the same free throw line. Find your
- 25:45Speaker 9: spots we're supposed to be on defense, run the lane
- 25:47Speaker 9: you're supposed to run on offense.
- 25:49Speaker 8: Do what the heck we do.
- 25:50Speaker 9: There's no difference between that court and the one we
- 25:51Speaker 9: practice in every day. We can't we can't have a
- 25:55Speaker 9: ten minute warm up where we're looking around like this
- 25:57Speaker 9: is really cool and we start playing with we're down
- 25:59Speaker 9: by twenty fucking You talked last week about the Est
- 26:02Speaker 9: City Tournament, going to it kind of when you were
- 26:05Speaker 9: a younger coach instead of White tournament. You got any
- 26:07Speaker 9: early memories of going to games or maybe watching a
- 26:11Speaker 9: crazy game when you.
- 26:12Speaker 15: Were a kid.
- 26:13Speaker 8: I mean, we all watched the NCA Tournament. I mean,
- 26:15Speaker 8: it's a great show on Earth.
- 26:16Speaker 9: I mean it is. It's why is it so great?
- 26:18Speaker 9: Because anybody can win in tournament basketball. Anybody can win,
- 26:22Speaker 9: and it's your path to make it happen. I mean,
- 26:24Speaker 9: there is, you know, I mean, that's what you're playing for.
- 26:27Speaker 9: I mean, if you think about it, we're two really
- 26:30Speaker 9: good games away from being back here to talk about
- 26:33Speaker 9: sixteen teams left and then from there you're two really
- 26:37Speaker 9: good games away from going to the Final four.
- 26:39Speaker 8: And I mean that's what makes it so unique, and
- 26:41Speaker 8: it's all your path to get there. But I mean
- 26:43Speaker 8: I could.
- 26:44Speaker 9: I mean, I don't know if I'd be coaching basketball
- 26:46Speaker 9: if it wasn't for the n SA Tournament. I mean,
- 26:47Speaker 9: just has a everybody can remember then, say tournament, what
- 26:52Speaker 9: do you remember the most? You probably remember all those
- 26:54Speaker 9: runs from the teams that pulled up sets to make
- 26:56Speaker 9: something magical happen. So we want to be that team
- 26:58Speaker 9: at some point that makes that happen.
- 27:01Speaker 1: That's Bucky and he was, man, he was so close
- 27:04Speaker 1: to being part of that beating Kansas a few years
- 27:07Speaker 1: ago with Sanford number thirty. When he say he was
- 27:11Speaker 1: thirteen seed, right, I guesst four. Let me let me
- 27:16Speaker 1: pull this up here. Kansas is a four seed. They're
- 27:20Speaker 1: playing a team I've never heard of in Division one.
- 27:22Speaker 1: It's like cal Baptist, California Baptist. I think Kansas is favored.
- 27:29Speaker 1: By the way. Let me see what else were we
- 27:34Speaker 1: have in the four and thirteen? I mean that's four
- 27:37Speaker 1: and twelve. I beg your pardon, it's got to be
- 27:41Speaker 1: three and thirteen, right, No, three and eleven, four, four
- 27:49Speaker 1: and thirteen, Yeah, I was right. Nebraska Troy, Yeah, Nebraska Troy.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Nebraska has never won an NC doublea tournament game ever.
- 28:00Speaker 1: They've never won a tournament game. They almost did. Remember
- 28:03Speaker 1: they played A and M a few years ago in
- 28:05Speaker 1: the tournament. They've never won a tournament game. So yeah, Kansas, California, Baptist, Nebraska, Troy, Arkansas, Hawaii.
- 28:21Speaker 1: I heard somebody like on the radio making a case
- 28:24Speaker 1: for Hawaii today, and you got to be kidding me.
- 28:29Speaker 1: I'm not saying it couldn't happen. It's the tournament, Like
- 28:31Speaker 1: Bucky said. You can tell Bucky's excited. It's only a
- 28:34Speaker 1: second tournament, right.
- 28:39Speaker 8: Am?
- 28:39Speaker 1: I right about that Tray, Yeah, he had to run
- 28:42Speaker 1: against Kansas, and let's see Kennesaw State and Gonzaga. Yeah,
- 28:51Speaker 1: that's not happening either, and then Wright State and Virginia
- 28:57Speaker 1: that's not happening either. So the five twelves are the
- 29:01Speaker 1: ones we usually look at. We'll talk about all of
- 29:03Speaker 1: that with the brackets coming up, with the writers coming
- 29:09Speaker 1: up too. So we got that going on for us

- 34:15Speaker 1: to the contest page. It is ready for you to pick.
- 34:21Speaker 1: The brackets are there, but all you have to do

- 34:28Speaker 1: want to choose all ten teams from one regional, See,
- 34:30Speaker 1: it doesn't work that way. Go to the bracket and
- 34:35Speaker 1: figure out the teams you like the best. You think
- 34:39Speaker 1: it's easy, Oh it's not easy. If it were easy,
- 34:45Speaker 1: anybody could do it. I suggest you pick my mascot,
- 34:49Speaker 1: my color, my blindfold. But we're gonna get prizes away
- 34:56Speaker 1: because somebody is gonna win. Okay, ten teams. We will
- 35:03Speaker 1: every weekend on Sunday evening update the tournament. So you know,
- 35:08Speaker 1: the first round you get one point and two points,
- 35:11Speaker 1: at three points and four points, it's gonna ask you
- 35:14Speaker 1: to pick a tiebreaker, which is the total point scored
- 35:19Speaker 1: of the championship game. In other words, if you think
- 35:22Speaker 1: it's gonna be seventy five to seventy, you can put
- 35:24Speaker 1: one hundred and forty five points in there.
- 35:26Speaker 16: Got it.
- 35:27Speaker 1: That's how we determine a tiebreaker. I think we've used
- 35:31Speaker 1: that tiebreaker once or twice over the years. Anyway, go
- 35:35Speaker 1: to chip Hoer dot com. You only have until eleven
- 35:38Speaker 1: am Thursday morning. Okay, when the main part of the
- 35:42Speaker 1: tournament tips off. That's it. So between now and Thursday
- 35:47Speaker 1: morning at eleven go in Sports Talk Madness, brought to
- 35:52Speaker 1: you by Zornaman Flooring and Chad Jones Law all right.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Over the weekend, the Aggies played their first SEC Conference series. Pitching. Pitching,
- 36:12Speaker 1: It's all about pitching. They scored enough runs to sweep
- 36:17Speaker 1: the series for sure. Uh, it didn't happen in any
- 36:23Speaker 1: of the three they got the They've got the middle
- 36:26Speaker 1: game of the series. Yesterday was tough. Yesterday was tough
- 36:32Speaker 1: for a number of reasons. The weather was brutal. But
- 36:37Speaker 1: you know, I know both teams play. I get that
- 36:41Speaker 1: in the same weather. It just they just didn't pitch
- 36:45Speaker 1: well enough. Okay, they hit plenty well enough. I mean,
- 36:54Speaker 1: that's just they did. They scored seven runs on Friday night,
- 37:03Speaker 1: they had a four run inning that they gave to
- 37:06Speaker 1: Shane Sedeo. He wasn't good enough on Friday. They had
- 37:13Speaker 1: four home runs and scored nine runs on Saturday and
- 37:18Speaker 1: won that middle game. They scored eleven runs yesterday. That's
- 37:26Speaker 1: twenty seven runs in three games. My Richards and II
- 37:30Speaker 1: Matt tells me that's nine runs a game. You're averaging.
- 37:35Speaker 1: I'm just saying, you averaged nine runs a game. You
- 37:37Speaker 1: should win three, right, I mean, you should win three.
- 37:46Speaker 1: But like I said, they hit well enough, they didn't
- 37:50Speaker 1: pitch well enough. They have to pitch better. They get
- 37:57Speaker 1: Georgia coming in this weekend at home. Always like to
- 38:02Speaker 1: play take three, but hey, get two, Just get two, right.
- 38:13Speaker 1: You got Vandy at home two weeks after that, right,
- 38:21Speaker 1: So just have to be better on the mountain. That's
- 38:26Speaker 1: all there is to it. And because Man, they're they're
- 38:30Speaker 1: hitting the ball. I mean, these these guys are and
- 38:35Speaker 1: they've been hitting and you wanted to see that because
- 38:39Speaker 1: we talked about last week how Oklahoma was pitching the ball.
- 38:44Speaker 1: And you go out and get four runs in that
- 38:46Speaker 1: first inning, I mean against Cameron Johnson who had just
- 38:53Speaker 1: been lights out. He walked seven, he walked seven batters,
- 39:06Speaker 1: and man, you've got to take advantage of that. That
- 39:09Speaker 1: that first game, that's that's a killer. The first game
- 39:13Speaker 1: when you think it's gonna be like two to one.
- 39:15Speaker 1: You know, you have your Friday night pitchers going, and
- 39:19Speaker 1: it didn't turn out that way. You gotta find a
- 39:22Speaker 1: way to win. And they couldn't do that. You know,
- 39:26Speaker 1: Oklahoma didn't pitch either. It was one of those weekends.
- 39:30Speaker 1: But hey, Texas State tomorrow six o'clock, we'll be on
- 39:35Speaker 1: the air with our coverage at five point forty five
- 39:37Speaker 1: tomorrow and Georgia coming in on Friday. All right, So okay,
- 39:46Speaker 1: we're gonna take a break, I'm gonna come back. I'm
- 39:49Speaker 1: gonna play an interview I did a couple of weeks ago,
- 39:54Speaker 1: and I played it last week during spring break, and
- 39:57Speaker 1: I really liked it. I realized some of you weren't around,
- 40:02Speaker 1: so I'm gonna replay It's it's actor Rob Morrow. Rob
- 40:09Speaker 1: Morrow first became part of the public consciousness with playing
- 40:18Speaker 1: doctor Joel Fleischmann in a little TV series called Northern
- 40:21Speaker 1: Exposure thirty something years ago, and he has been very
- 40:26Speaker 1: busy and been an incredible projects ever since. So we're
- 40:30Speaker 1: gonna hear from that after this for Oscar and Sons. Oh,

- 42:26Speaker 1: of all, we are honoring the late great Jerry Jeff Walker.
- 42:30Speaker 1: Today would have been his eighty fourth birthday. As I
- 42:33Speaker 1: mentioned before the break, got a chance to visit with
- 42:37Speaker 1: actor Rob Morrow. It's been a couple of weeks, but
- 42:41Speaker 1: I wanted to replay the interview that we played last
- 42:44Speaker 1: week during spring break. I thought it was great. He's
- 42:47Speaker 1: in a new streaming series called The Greyhouse. Based on
- 42:52Speaker 1: a true story during the Civil War. He is very busy.
- 42:56Speaker 1: He's done a lot of things. Here is Rob Brrow. Rob,
- 43:01Speaker 1: how are you.
- 43:02Speaker 7: I'm excellent, sir. How are you doing today?
- 43:04Speaker 1: I'm doing great. Thank you so much for your time.
- 43:07Speaker 1: I have not seen the entire Gray House, but i
- 43:10Speaker 1: have seen a couple of episodes, and I'm thinking, how
- 43:15Speaker 1: do you pick your projects when they came to you?
- 43:19Speaker 1: You know, what are the factors when you decide you're
- 43:21Speaker 1: going to be involved in something?
- 43:24Speaker 7: Well, and it varies, you know, depending on what I've
- 43:27Speaker 7: done recently. You know, I'm always trying to shake it
- 43:30Speaker 7: up and do something different. So that's a very that's
- 43:33Speaker 7: a factor this in this case, the first variable that
- 43:38Speaker 7: caught my eye and that made me know I was
- 43:41Speaker 7: going to do it was when they got the offer.
- 43:44Speaker 7: There was a you know, came with an offer sheet
- 43:47Speaker 7: the terms and everything, and it said it was shooting
- 43:49Speaker 7: in Romania, and I was like, okay, I'm going I
- 43:51Speaker 7: knew it because I'm a quarter Romanian. My grandfather grew
- 43:57Speaker 7: up there and he was a big influence on me,
- 44:00Speaker 7: so that that kind of caught me my attention. And
- 44:04Speaker 7: then you know, then the pedigree you know that can
- 44:08Speaker 7: you know, if you see the right people attached, you know,
- 44:11Speaker 7: you know, I mean I saw Roland Joffey, who I've
- 44:13Speaker 7: now worked with three times. He just doesn't miss he
- 44:17Speaker 7: doesn't mess around. He's one of the great master filmmakers.
- 44:20Speaker 7: And then you bring Kevin Costner and and Morgan Freeman
- 44:24Speaker 7: and uh and John Sales and Leslie Grife and then
- 44:28Speaker 7: this the cast that was starting to come together, you know,
- 44:31Speaker 7: and then and then and then the character. You know,
- 44:33Speaker 7: I'm looking at this guy who's so fascinating, but a
- 44:36Speaker 7: real life figure who was full of contradictions. That was
- 44:41Speaker 7: a challenge for me to try to get into his
- 44:43Speaker 7: head and try to understand what was going on in
- 44:46Speaker 7: the times. He was a he was a he was Jewish,
- 44:48Speaker 7: the first Jewish US senator, but he was also a
- 44:51Speaker 7: slave owner. So I was like, I couldn't quite figure
- 44:53Speaker 7: out how that worked. So there's always different different things,
- 45:00Speaker 7: you know. My wife has this thing called the five p's,
- 45:03Speaker 7: which are you know, what's the what's the production, what's
- 45:06Speaker 7: the play meaning the screenplay, what's the pay, what's the part,
- 45:11Speaker 7: what's the place? You know, and if you get two
- 45:13Speaker 7: places or one, you know, sometimes I've tooken jobs in
- 45:17Speaker 7: Spain just because it was in Spain. I was like,
- 45:18Speaker 7: you're going to fly him into Spain. I was like,
- 45:20Speaker 7: I'm going, you know, So.
- 45:22Speaker 1: That's why Romania? Why was it filmed there?
- 45:27Speaker 8: Well?
- 45:28Speaker 7: Bang for your buck? Yeah, you really, first of all,
- 45:31Speaker 7: and they have great crafts people and artists there, and
- 45:36Speaker 7: it's surprisingly doubled well for the South. But really it's
- 45:41Speaker 7: about bang for your buck. We shot that for about
- 45:44Speaker 7: half of what it would have to shoot here.
- 45:46Speaker 1: So if I told you you could only direct, you
- 45:49Speaker 1: could only act in films, you could only be part
- 45:53Speaker 1: of a huge TV series, You could only be in Broadway.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Could you choose one of those?
- 46:01Speaker 7: Right now? It would be if it could be musicals,
- 46:04Speaker 7: I'd do Broadway.
- 46:05Speaker 1: Really yeah? Why well, I just love music. I love
- 46:11Speaker 1: being a part of it.
- 46:13Speaker 7: So it's irrefutable. You know, there's something about the way
- 46:17Speaker 7: the vibrations affect us that it's joy to be to
- 46:22Speaker 7: be doing. I sing every day a lot, you know.
- 46:25Speaker 1: And it's had no idea. I had no idea fills
- 46:28Speaker 1: my day, you know. I I what kind of music?
- 46:32Speaker 7: Well, the stuff that I write and perform we call soulful, rock, funky, pop,
- 46:37Speaker 7: you know. But I just wrote a pop song with
- 46:40Speaker 7: Lisa Lowbe. It's the second song we've written together. And
- 46:44Speaker 7: you know, I'd love to do I'd love to go
- 46:48Speaker 7: play King George on Broadway and Hamilton. I'd love to
- 46:51Speaker 7: do Manela Mancha. You know. So there's just something irrefutable
- 46:57Speaker 7: about music that I'd love if I could, if I
- 47:00Speaker 7: could choose, like you said, that's where I would put
- 47:02Speaker 7: my my energy.
- 47:03Speaker 1: So it's amazing you bring this up because I wasn't
- 47:06Speaker 1: gonna talk about it. But the original music in the
- 47:09Speaker 1: in the Greyhouse is like unbelievable. Willie Nelson, Lady Wilson,
- 47:14Speaker 1: Shanaia Twain, John Bon, Jovie. I mean, that's that's pretty incredible.
- 47:19Speaker 7: Killer Mike, Yeah, it's endless.
- 47:22Speaker 8: You know that.
- 47:22Speaker 7: Diane Warren, who's nominated for her seventeenth Academy Award this year. Yeah,
- 47:28Speaker 7: it's They're really smart. And it also modernizes the piece
- 47:32Speaker 7: in a in a in a cool way. It's a
- 47:34Speaker 7: bit of a thing that's going on now. A lot
- 47:35Speaker 7: of times, historical pieces will use modern music to kind
- 47:39Speaker 7: of bridge the gap and make it more relevant, and
- 47:42Speaker 7: this piece is wildly relevant. Somewhat intended and somewhat unintended.
- 47:48Speaker 7: I think the timing of its release could not have
- 47:51Speaker 7: been better. Yes, and it's somewhat accidental or or providential,
- 47:56Speaker 7: you know.
- 47:57Speaker 1: So I'm I'm I'm looking at at all of this
- 48:01Speaker 1: and the list of your work, and I'm I'm I
- 48:03Speaker 1: know I'm old, but I'm amazed. It's been thirty six
- 48:07Speaker 1: years for Northern Exposure. Is that hard to is that
- 48:12Speaker 1: hard to put your hands around?
- 48:15Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 48:15Speaker 7: When you said it, I was like, God, dang, thirty
- 48:17Speaker 7: six years.
- 48:19Speaker 1: But are you ask about that? Like I'm asking now,
- 48:23Speaker 1: do you go very long without people mentioning that show?
- 48:26Speaker 1: Because that was it was obviously an incredible show.
- 48:30Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 48:30Speaker 7: Almost daily someone will say something and it's it's having
- 48:34Speaker 7: a bit of a resurgence. Now it's also on I
- 48:37Speaker 7: have everything I do is on Amazon. It seems numbers,
- 48:40Speaker 7: is there, billions? Is there? Yep, And it's on. It's
- 48:43Speaker 7: having a bit of a moment and bringing in all
- 48:46Speaker 7: these new generations of fans to the show. Janina Turner
- 48:51Speaker 7: and I have a podcast about it, and so I've
- 48:55Speaker 7: been so I watched the show, which I hadn't watched
- 48:57Speaker 7: in thirty years. Wow, But it whole us up it
- 49:00Speaker 7: holds up wild. It's timeless. It's just timeless. The themes
- 49:05Speaker 7: are universal, and the aesthetics don't seem dated. It's jeans
- 49:10Speaker 7: and pickup truck.
- 49:12Speaker 1: At what point do you do you remember if there
- 49:15Speaker 1: was a point where you said to yourself, Hey, people
- 49:19Speaker 1: are watching this. I think we may have a hit
- 49:22Speaker 1: on our hands.
- 49:24Speaker 7: Yeah, you know, it becomes you know, your life changes
- 49:26Speaker 7: pretty especially then you know, all of a sudden, wherever
- 49:30Speaker 7: you go you're noticed, and whatever you want you can get.
- 49:34Speaker 7: And if you know, for the first time in my life,
- 49:36Speaker 7: I had money where I could buy anything I wanted,
- 49:39Speaker 7: you know, and and uh, and then also just the
- 49:44Speaker 7: the regularity of the work, you know, yes, and being
- 49:48Speaker 7: immersed in this world. And I was living in Seattle,
- 49:51Speaker 7: which was a new was new to me, and you know,
- 49:55Speaker 7: it became clear somewhere around Uh. Technically it was season three,
- 50:00Speaker 7: but season one was on the eight episode Season two
- 50:03Speaker 7: was on the eight episodes. When we got an order
- 50:06Speaker 7: for fifty episodes, which was unprecedented. Two seasons in advance
- 50:12Speaker 7: were ordered, and that's when it was like, oh, wow,
- 50:15Speaker 7: this is the big time.
- 50:16Speaker 1: So I don't have a lot of time, but but
- 50:20Speaker 1: I know you worked with Rob Reiner, how would you
- 50:22Speaker 1: describe him as a as a director on the set?
- 50:26Speaker 7: Oh man, God, that was so devastating. His death and
- 50:32Speaker 7: the way he died. A sweet, you know, talented, easy going,
- 50:38Speaker 7: you know, had news because he was a performer. Actors
- 50:42Speaker 7: that were directors that were actors are always great because
- 50:45Speaker 7: they they they understand what they're going through. I worked
- 50:49Speaker 7: with Martye Gorsese as an actor and I asked him
- 50:52Speaker 7: why he was acting, and he said, because I like
- 50:55Speaker 7: to know what you guys are going through. And you know,
- 50:57Speaker 7: Rob had such a great career as a performer before
- 51:01Speaker 7: becoming director and then still acted and he just had
- 51:04Speaker 7: a great touch, you know, I mean, he knew how
- 51:07Speaker 7: to deal with people. I mean he got Jack Nicholson
- 51:09Speaker 7: and Morgan Freeman. That's where I met Morgan, who is
- 51:12Speaker 7: one of the producers of Greyhouse, you know, and he
- 51:17Speaker 7: he he could allow Jack to do what he did.
- 51:21Speaker 7: You know, Jack is a you know you want to
- 51:23Speaker 7: be you have to you have to really be smart
- 51:24Speaker 7: to be able to deal with someone like Jack and uh.
- 51:27Speaker 7: And then he could deal with you know, a novice
- 51:30Speaker 7: as well and allow he allowed me to play around.
- 51:34Speaker 7: He allowed me to add lib and improvise and and uh,
- 51:38Speaker 7: and he runs a great ship.
- 51:39Speaker 1: You know.
- 51:40Speaker 7: It was it was good hours and it was a
- 51:43Speaker 7: fun environment. And uh, he's really missed. He had a
- 51:49Speaker 7: lot of he had a lot of work. I don't
- 51:50Speaker 7: know if you saw the sequel to Spinal Tap. It's
- 51:55Speaker 7: so funny. It's really funny.
- 51:58Speaker 1: Rob Rob Marrow latest project, and there are many it's
- 52:02Speaker 1: called The Greyhouse. It's it's an eight episode limited series. Uh,
- 52:06Speaker 1: it is really terrific. And Robi, I really appreciate your
- 52:10Speaker 1: time today.
- 52:11Speaker 7: Well, thank you so much. Thanks for having me. Have
- 52:13Speaker 7: a good day.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I hope you I hope you enjoyed that. You know,
- 52:18Speaker 1: we talked to lots of entertainers here, musicians, and it's
- 52:24Speaker 1: just like everything else, you know, some some are just
- 52:27Speaker 1: better than others, more engaged. And I just I really
- 52:31Speaker 1: enjoyed that interview. And this is a guy that's really talent,
- 52:36Speaker 1: has been in this business for a long time and
- 52:39Speaker 1: has done a lot of things that most of you,
- 52:40Speaker 1: I'm sure have have probably seen. We're going to take
- 52:45Speaker 1: a break and we're going to come back and then
