- 0:27Speaker 2: Alan, happy in a healthy media. My brother from another mother.
- 0:33Speaker 2: And I got to tell you that I got to
- 0:36Speaker 2: meet you in nineteen eighty four for the first time.
- 0:39Speaker 2: And whenever I think of the gladiator door at the
- 0:45Speaker 2: Coliseum and how few gladiators have walked through that door,
- 0:51Speaker 2: You're a gladiator in my book. Many people get to
- 0:54Speaker 2: be in the arena, but fewer gladiators, and I commend
- 0:59Speaker 2: you for that. I think you're an incredible New Yorker
- 1:02Speaker 2: and someone that deserves great thanks from people that have
- 1:06Speaker 2: followed him as long as.
- 1:08Speaker 1: I have their I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what, Ellen,
- 1:11Speaker 1: Slowly I turned, step by step. Nineteen eighty four. That
- 1:16Speaker 1: was the year the subway gunman Bernard gets remember that
- 1:19Speaker 1: was right before Christmas, in which while writing downtown on
- 1:24Speaker 1: the Number two train to join his nerdy Wonky friends
- 1:28Speaker 1: talking about the recent edition of Popular Mechanics. He ended
- 1:32Speaker 1: up shooting. Let me see if I can remember Barry Allen,
- 1:36Speaker 1: Troy Canty, James Ramsoor and Daryl Kaby writing two books
- 1:44Speaker 1: about that. They've written two books about that that are
- 1:46Speaker 1: coming out, and now they all want my opinion. Since
- 1:51Speaker 1: I was there side by side knowing what all the
- 1:55Speaker 1: intricate details I see. That's why you got to listen.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Because whether it happened before, or whether it's happening now,
- 2:03Speaker 1: or there are rumors about the future with I'll share
- 2:06Speaker 1: with you towards the end of this show on twelve,
- 2:09Speaker 1: you don't want to go anywhere, and continue to do so,
- 2:12Speaker 1: as I saidstitute for Mark Simone, after the dropping of
- 2:15Speaker 1: the ball, the welcoming in and the New Yeork Year,
- 2:18Speaker 1: the swearing inns are on Mondami and obviously I'll be
- 2:21Speaker 1: here till January second. But I love being a gladiator.
- 2:26Speaker 1: The question is who's better as a gladiator, Russell Crowe
- 2:31Speaker 1: or Denzel Your turn to be heard. Let's go if
- 2:37Speaker 1: we can to Bob, who's patiently waiting on the line
- 2:40Speaker 1: from Long Island. Your turn to be heard here at
- 2:42Speaker 1: seven to ten wr.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Hey, Curtiss, Bob Hey, I want to let you know
- 2:48Speaker 3: you're totally wrong about your snowfall statements at the earlier
- 2:52Speaker 3: part of the show. The snowyret switches we've had in
- 2:54Speaker 3: New York of occur since two thousand and if you recall,
- 2:58Speaker 3: in twenty fifteen, we had six consecutive days that one
- 3:01Speaker 3: is for more snow on the ground in Central Park,
- 3:04Speaker 3: which was a record. So you're saying that way back
- 3:07Speaker 3: when those mountains of snow with the snow east winders,
- 3:11Speaker 3: You're actually absolutely wrong.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Oh ho hoasly checked Central Park records. Hold on a second, Bob,
- 3:19Speaker 1: You know what records? I check? How many times they
- 3:22Speaker 1: had to put on my galoshes in order to get
- 3:24Speaker 1: out there and to go to the snow. So you're
- 3:26Speaker 1: telling me that what we're hearing all this fear of
- 3:30Speaker 1: fright in hysteria about this snow fall might be four
- 3:33Speaker 1: six eight inches or more, that it's comparable to what
- 3:40Speaker 1: was happening.
- 3:40Speaker 3: When I, Curtis just checked the Central Park weather records.
- 3:45Speaker 1: What the hell would I want to check Central Park
- 3:47Speaker 1: weather records? How about my glatches? How about how many
- 3:50Speaker 1: times I was out there? You were going to Compare
- 3:55Speaker 1: this to when you were growing up. Nineteen the six
- 4:00Speaker 1: Rudy Giuliani eleven snowstorms, twenty inches of snow in the city,
- 4:07Speaker 1: thirty in Staten Island. Really, I say the reason when
- 4:12Speaker 1: I'm having these kinds of snowfalls any longer. See, this
- 4:16Speaker 1: is what bugs people because I believe in global warming
- 4:19Speaker 1: and climate change. Oh my god, how could you say that? Well,
- 4:22Speaker 1: because I believe it's true. I'm sure many of you
- 4:26Speaker 1: think it's fake. Well, guess what, it's not fake. That's
- 4:32Speaker 1: God of Jackie is calling from Pennsylvania. Your turn to
- 4:35Speaker 1: be heard? He at what should be a Newfound station
- 4:39Speaker 1: seven to ten war.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Oh, yes, it is Curtis High. I am born and
- 4:45Speaker 4: raised in the Bronx. You could take the kid out
- 4:47Speaker 4: of the Bronx, but you can't take the Bronx out
- 4:49Speaker 4: of the kid.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Oh.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Now, I'm a big, big fan of yours, Curtis. Were
- 4:53Speaker 4: you aware that Greg Kelly during the Democrat Democratic Primary
- 5:00Speaker 4: was asking people to vote for Mendani because he hated Cuomo.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Were you're aware of that? And you know I called
- 5:08Speaker 4: him after the November election and I brought that up
- 5:11Speaker 4: to him and he was taken back my husband is
- 5:14Speaker 4: a witness to this, and he goes, well, I have
- 5:16Speaker 4: a right to change my mind, and I'm like, what
- 5:20Speaker 4: a phony Curtis.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Again, Oh yes, and he said it over and over again.
- 5:27Speaker 1: During the Democratic primary, Greg Kelly, who never does show prep,
- 5:32Speaker 1: who knows nothing about politics, and in fact he'll tell
- 5:35Speaker 1: that to his audience. He goes, I really don't know
- 5:37Speaker 1: anything about politics, and then for the next three hours
- 5:41Speaker 1: he'll tell you everything he doesn't know. But you're right.
- 5:44Speaker 1: All during the Democratic primary he was encouraging the listeners,
- 5:48Speaker 1: which is his right to vote for Zorhanmandami and not
- 5:52Speaker 1: for Angew Cuomo. He called Andrew Cormo the Prince of
- 5:55Speaker 1: darkness constantly and rightfully so talked about the fifteen, ten
- 6:00Speaker 1: and elderly who died as a result of his executive
- 6:04Speaker 1: orders during the lockdown and pandemic. And then, boy, you
- 6:08Speaker 1: talk about a pivot in shift. All of a sudden,
- 6:11Speaker 1: he was a Cuomo sexual. He couldn't get enough of
- 6:14Speaker 1: angewl Cuomo. And there's a reason for that. Again, don't
- 6:19Speaker 1: take these people seriously, Jackie. They are like actors and actresses.
- 6:25Speaker 1: If they're given their script, their lines, they're talking points
- 6:29Speaker 1: they can because this is what they believe and understand
- 6:32Speaker 1: this to all listeners, whether it's talk to your hosts
- 6:35Speaker 1: or hostesses, whether it's politicians, Democrats or Republicans, they believe
- 6:40Speaker 1: that you're all sheep, that you're stupid. I've been in
- 6:44Speaker 1: many conversations where I've defended people because I trust people.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I don't trust politicians. I don't trust talk to your hosts.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I just don't because I've known them. And what they'll
- 6:55Speaker 1: do is they'll say, oh, you don't trust, don't trust them.
- 7:00Speaker 1: They won't remember what you said five seconds ago, five
- 7:03Speaker 1: minutes ago, five weeks ago, five days ago, five months ago.
- 7:07Speaker 1: They need sheap burdise like us. And Greg Kelly is
- 7:11Speaker 1: a perfect example. Come on, he never listened to talk
- 7:15Speaker 1: radio going up. You knew that, Oh Garden City, Long Island,
- 7:18Speaker 1: tough guy out there right protected by his daddy. Was
- 7:22Speaker 1: a great guy. Ray Kelly longest serving police commissioner, but
- 7:26Speaker 1: not a talk radio guy. Maybe talk TV, talk radio. No,
- 7:30Speaker 1: he just he runs out of gas and he doesn't
- 7:34Speaker 1: want you to remember what he was saying during the
- 7:37Speaker 1: Democratic primary. And as much as I hate, I loathe,
- 7:41Speaker 1: I despise Andrew evilized Cuomo. Hey, Andrew, I said them,
- 7:45Speaker 1: he too, So you prove your us fat cheam, and
- 7:48Speaker 1: you are what happened to him. He's hanging out there
- 7:51Speaker 1: in the Hamptons, slid back under the rock, you know,
- 7:55Speaker 1: dystopian as he is hanging out with his billionaire millionaire friends.
- 8:00Speaker 1: And this guy Greg Kelly was actually telling everyone to
- 8:03Speaker 1: vote for Johan Mandami. Hey, by the way, you know
- 8:05Speaker 1: who else was telling him during the Democratic primary that
- 8:08Speaker 1: he chose not to run in Eric Adams Swagerman with
- 8:12Speaker 1: no plan. Yeah, him and his Jewish advisor in city
- 8:16Speaker 1: hall manage and the rest were telling members of the
- 8:19Speaker 1: Orthodox and city community, Hey, a vote for Zoran Mandami
- 8:24Speaker 1: in the Democratic primary is a vote so that Eric
- 8:27Speaker 1: Adams can get back into the race. And it all
- 8:30Speaker 1: knock out Andrew Cormel right, their fake phony, fraudlymph, the Caysies.
- 8:37Speaker 1: And the reason that a lot of people don't want
- 8:39Speaker 1: my voice to be heard is I know where all
- 8:42Speaker 1: their bones are buried, and who buried them? And who
- 8:48Speaker 1: was that Gavon who had called before they would oh no,
- 8:51Speaker 1: you know the snowfall is the same as get out
- 8:54Speaker 1: of here. I'm having flashbacks right now. I went to
- 9:00Speaker 1: a Catholic school for a while. Saint Matthew's Irish actually
- 9:04Speaker 1: Josephite nuns. Irish nuns told me that I had to
- 9:08Speaker 1: repeat that Saint Brendan the Navigator discovering the New World.
- 9:11Speaker 1: That was on Eastern parkla Utica Avenue. And because they
- 9:14Speaker 1: all lived in the convent, you had to get to school.
- 9:17Speaker 1: They don't have that any longer. By the way, the
- 9:20Speaker 1: cardinalist gone dole it ooh foh, thank god did not
- 9:25Speaker 1: like that guy closed all these Catholic schools. And by
- 9:28Speaker 1: the way, how much the Parisian is having to pay
- 9:33Speaker 1: for all these sexual assault charges by priests against kids.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I mean, god, he didn't deal with it. So maybe
- 9:42Speaker 1: the new guy will. This is your place to be
- 9:47Speaker 1: seven to ten wor don't go anywhere, because I'm going
- 9:49Speaker 1: to tell you what I learned up in Albany. How
- 9:53Speaker 1: Republican leaders are now signing with who they call moderate
- 9:56Speaker 1: Democrats to beat socialists. Oh yeah, right across the board,
- 10:01Speaker 1: right across the board. The destruction of the Republican Party,
- 10:06Speaker 1: the Party of Lincoln as we know it,
