Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: This is Kiss Breakfast. Some celebrity gossip, what do you got?
- 0:04Speaker 2: You know how Nick Cannon has about 400 children? Yeah.
- 0:07Speaker 2: He's got 12.
- 0:08Speaker 3: One of the baby mamas being Mariah Carey, but yeah,
- 0:10Speaker 3: 12 kids, six different mums. And he's also one of
- 0:13Speaker 3: those people that practices consensual non-monogamy, which basically means that
- 0:18Speaker 3: both parties in the relationship know.
- 0:20Speaker 2: That you're not a monogamous partner. At least you know
- 0:22Speaker 2: what you're getting into.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 0:25Speaker 3: And I mean, if the other person's on board with that,
- 0:27Speaker 3: they benefit from it too, I guess.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Are they though? Are they on board happily?
- 0:31Speaker 3: I mean, I never believe that anyone would want that,
- 0:34Speaker 3: but that's just not my, like, I'm too jealous.
- 0:36Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Like, could you ever be in an open relationship?
- 0:39Speaker 1: Only if I didn't care at all about her. Yeah.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Right?
- 0:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:44Speaker 2: But that's because I think, yeah, we must be very
- 0:46Speaker 2: emotional beings.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I think most people can't be in a relationship like that.
- 0:49Speaker 3: I've heard from, like, we've had people on the show before,
- 0:51Speaker 3: women as well, which would surprise more people because women
- 0:54Speaker 3: are more emotional, who were like, no, it was my
- 0:56Speaker 3: idea and we're happier than ever.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Okay.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Each to their own.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 1:02Speaker 3: So one of his current girlfriends is Brie Tiesi, who...
- 1:05Speaker 3: It's from Selling Sunset, you know, that real estate show
- 1:07Speaker 3: over in the US. And she, in a recent interview,
- 1:10Speaker 3: was asked, like, what is her deal breaker when it
- 1:12Speaker 3: comes to dating Nick? And it's not that he needs
- 1:14Speaker 3: to stop dating other women, but this is what it is.
- 1:17Speaker 5: I only have, like, one deal breaker.
- 1:19Speaker 4: One.
- 1:19Speaker 5: And if it ever happens, then I might be out.
- 1:21Speaker 2: What's the deal breaker?
- 1:22Speaker 5: If he has another baby.
- 1:23Speaker 2: I was going to ask you, girl. I'm out of here.
- 1:25Speaker 1: No more?
- 1:26Speaker 5: No more.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I just think.
- 1:28Speaker 5: You know, there's only so much time in a day.
- 1:30Speaker 5: There's so many kids.
- 1:31Speaker 2: There's so much going on.
- 1:32Speaker 5: Like, if you're already all over the place, how the
- 1:35Speaker 5: hell are you going to add? I don't even want
- 1:36Speaker 5: to add another one because I feel the guilt of
- 1:39Speaker 5: not having enough time, having a career. You got the
- 1:43Speaker 5: Brady Bunch.
- 1:43Speaker 2: We're not doing 13.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I mean, why would he even want any more?
- 1:46Speaker 3: I don't understand how he even splits his time with 12.
- 1:50Speaker 1: It wouldn't be around much. Yeah. How would you remember
- 1:53Speaker 1: their names?
- 1:54Speaker 3: I think there was an interview once where he asked
- 1:56Speaker 3: to say all the names and he did.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Get stumped on a couple of them.
- 2:00Speaker 1: So it's 12.
- 2:00Speaker 2: There's 12.
- 2:02Speaker 6: Yes.
- 2:02Speaker 3: And Brie and he have a child together. But yeah,
- 2:05Speaker 3: she's saying even she won't do anymore because you just
- 2:07Speaker 3: can't parent 12 children properly.
- 2:10Speaker 1: It's mental. Yeah.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Also, there's a new.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Celebrity that wants to run for president of the United States.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Do you feel like when Trump got in power, it
- 2:19Speaker 3: kind of like opened the door for heaps of other people?
- 2:21Speaker 3: Because he wasn't a politician, of course. He was like,
- 2:24Speaker 3: he was a marketing, but also a marketing guy. Isn't
- 2:27Speaker 3: that his background? Yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Business guy, built bloody skyscrapers and shit.
- 2:30Speaker 3: But then, of course, Celebrity Apprentice is where he got
- 2:33Speaker 3: his fame. The interesting thing about him is he was
- 2:36Speaker 3: actually quite broke before that, but they made him look
- 2:39Speaker 3: more successful than he was.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Yeah, and then he obviously made a lot of money.
- 2:42Speaker 1: For the purpose of the show.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:44Speaker 7: If you go back and look at all the history
- 2:46Speaker 7: of him, I'm not saying he was full-blown broke, but
- 2:48Speaker 7: he'd had a lot of failures. There were a lot
- 2:49Speaker 7: of casinos and stuff, remember, Sean, that didn't work out
- 2:52Speaker 7: for him?
- 2:52Speaker 6: Yeah, there's been a lot of these business dealings that
- 2:55Speaker 6: have gone sour.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:56Speaker 6: But, yeah, like you said, the show sort of burst
- 2:59Speaker 6: him back into the spotlight.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Made him look really successful.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:02Speaker 7: I mean, the other thing is, though, we had Arnie
- 3:05Speaker 7: run as governor in California.
- 3:07Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:07Speaker 1: So they've had a few celebrities there.
- 3:10Speaker 3: I think these people believe that because they've got influence
- 3:13Speaker 3: and they have the right intentions that they should– you know,
- 3:17Speaker 3: potentially put their, throw their hat in the ring. Because
- 3:19Speaker 3: even recently after like the wildfires in LA, Spencer Pratt,
- 3:22Speaker 3: who was on the hills, tried to be mayor of
- 3:25Speaker 3: LA or something like that.
- 3:26Speaker 7: Talking to Trump, I heard, I was listening to this
- 3:28Speaker 7: podcast over the weekend and they had a quote from him.
- 3:30Speaker 7: He was doing one of his town hall things where,
- 3:32Speaker 7: you know, and he said, he said, I know more
- 3:35Speaker 7: than anyone about anything.
- 3:38Speaker 1: About In the whole world.
- 3:42Speaker 4: He literally thinks he knows, and I believe that he
- 3:46Speaker 4: believes that. He said, I know more than anyone about
- 3:51Speaker 4: anything in the whole world.
- 3:53Speaker 2: What a crazy thing to say.
- 3:55Speaker 3: He knows more than me about myself.
- 3:59Speaker 6: Anything.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Anything. Than anyone in the whole world. You name a subject,
- 4:03Speaker 1: he knows it.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Well, the latest celebrities, of course, we famously had Kanye
- 4:09Speaker 3: West who ran for president and didn't get in.
- 4:12Speaker 2: And the latest is just ridiculous.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Do you remember Soulja Boy? Soulja Boy. Wabi Krabi Wabi.
- 4:22Speaker 3: He wore the white glasses with the whiteout on them
- 4:25Speaker 3: that said Soulja Boy across the lenses.
- 4:28Speaker 2: He's running for.
- 4:28Speaker 3: President of the United States in the 2028 election. So
- 4:32Speaker 3: he's posted on Instagram in front of the American flag
- 4:35Speaker 3: with the caption Soulja Boy 2028. And then he went
- 4:38Speaker 3: on to say, a new chapter, a bigger vision, a
- 4:41Speaker 3: commitment to creating opportunities for the next generation. My focus
- 4:44Speaker 3: is on four things, economic opportunity, criminal justice reform, education,
- 4:49Speaker 3: and the future of technology and AI.
- 4:51Speaker 7: You know, it's not actually a bad platform, but does
- 4:54Speaker 7: he know more than anyone about anything in the whole world?
- 4:58Speaker 1: Because I'm not sure I'd be voting for him if
- 5:00Speaker 1: he doesn't. If he doesn't, no. He's got big shoes
- 5:02Speaker 1: to fill.
- 5:02Speaker 7: I love how they, like, you could literally just say
- 5:04Speaker 7: I'm running for president.
- 5:05Speaker 1: It doesn't mean anything. Like, he'll get nowhere.
- 5:07Speaker 2: But to create a party. Like, to run. That is
- 5:11Speaker 2: very expensive.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not going to happen. He had one song. Yeah.
- 5:16Speaker 1: He can say it. Anyone can say it. I can
- 5:18Speaker 1: say I'm running for president. I think that's what it is,
- 5:21Speaker 1: isn't it?
- 5:21Speaker 6: A lot of the time they just go, ah, well,
- 5:23Speaker 6: you know, nothing's really happening at the moment. I might
- 5:25Speaker 6: just announce that I'm going to become the president one day.
- 5:27Speaker 3: But in, like, the case of Kanye West, right, where
- 5:29Speaker 3: he actually ran, he actually ran, where did his votes go?
- 5:33Speaker 3: Because you know how in Australia if you vote for,
- 5:35Speaker 3: you know, the Greens, they go on to Labor.
- 5:38Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:39Speaker 1: But if, yeah, did Kanye's votes go... Oh, so his
- 5:42Speaker 1: votes just... Just goes on the floor.
- 5:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:44Speaker 1: They don't have that system we have.
- 5:46Speaker 2: What do you think of that system in Australia?
- 5:48Speaker 1: I like it.
- 5:48Speaker 7: Because basically what you're saying is I want... Natalie, but
- 5:52Speaker 7: if Natalie doesn't have enough, I want, what's her name again?
- 5:57Speaker 6: Chelsea.
- 5:58Speaker 3: But do your votes always align? If you voted for
- 6:01Speaker 3: the Greens, do you necessarily want Labor in?
- 6:03Speaker 7: Yeah, if you're going to vote for the Greens, help
- 6:05Speaker 7: me out here, Sean, you'd prefer Labor over the Liberals.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Labor over the.
- 6:09Speaker 6: Liberals, yeah.
- 6:09Speaker 2: So you'd go in voting for the Greens knowing that
- 6:11Speaker 2: that would be where you're- There's.
- 6:12Speaker 6: A chance that your vote might end up with Labor
- 6:14Speaker 6: and you're happy with that.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Yeah, so, like, if you're a One Nation voter, you'd
- 6:17Speaker 1: prefer the Liberals.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Yep.
- 6:18Speaker 7: You wouldn't prefer Labor, although sometimes... When is our next election?
- 6:22Speaker 1: Next year?
- 6:22Speaker 7: 2020.
- 6:23Speaker 6: I thought ours was... Yeah, 2028, I thought ours was.
- 6:26Speaker 1: There's a Victorian one in November soon.
- 6:28Speaker 6: Yeah, but our federal one's 2028, I believe.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Oh, God, so... Yeah, ages away. Correct, May 2028.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Oh!
- 6:35Speaker 1: Well, Albo's got heaps of time to recover.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And you've still got time if you want to run
- 6:38Speaker 2: as Prime Minister.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll just announce it.
- 6:40Speaker 7: Because I know more than anyone about anything in all
- 6:43Speaker 7: of Australia.
- 6:44Speaker 1: No, just Australia. Oh, of course, of course.
