- 0:00Speaker 1: The mystics Christmas all hail. The bells of Christmas rang
- 0:07Speaker 1: all hail. The monks at Christmas sang the merry monks
- 0:11Speaker 1: who kept with cheer the gladdest day of all their year,
- 0:17Speaker 1: But still apart, unmoved thereat. A pious elder brother sat
- 0:23Speaker 1: silent in his accustomed place, with God's sweet peace upon
- 0:29Speaker 1: his face. Why sittest thou, Thus his brethren cried, It
- 0:34Speaker 1: is the blessed Christmas tide. The Christmas lights are all aglow,
- 0:40Speaker 1: The sacred lilies bud and blow above our heads. The
- 0:45Speaker 1: joy bells ring without the happy children sing, and all
- 0:50Speaker 1: God's creatures hail the morn on which the Holy Christ

- 2:01Speaker 1: through God's exceeding grace, release from form and time and space.
- 2:09Speaker 1: I listen from no mortal tongue to hear the song
- 2:14Speaker 1: the angels sung, and wait within myself to know the
- 2:19Speaker 1: Christmas lilies bud and blow. The outward symbols disappear. From
- 2:26Speaker 1: him whose inward sight is clear and small. Must be
- 2:30Speaker 1: the choice of days to him who fills them all
- 2:34Speaker 1: with praise. Keep while you need it, brother's mind, with
- 2:39Speaker 1: honest seal your Christmas Sign. But judge not him who
- 2:45Speaker 1: every morn feels in his heart, the Lord Christ born
