- 0:14Speaker 2: car breaks while you're borrowing.
- 0:16Speaker 3: It, who's gotta pay the tab?
- 0:17Speaker 2: Judge Matthews is gonna pimp this ride? And if you're
- 0:20Speaker 2: paid to be a stripper and you stripped down the draws.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Are you gonna find money over there?
- 0:27Speaker 3: Or underwear? Judge Karen doesn't real people.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Underwear under there? Underwear under there? Helloay, welly, good to
- 0:44Speaker 2: do another episode of the old Gabble Gavel. You ran,
- 0:47Speaker 2: Itt Stan. We're talking courtroom TV.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Yeah we are. You were so excited with your joke.
- 0:52Speaker 3: I didn't hear who the judge was. Just judge Karen Karen,
- 0:55Speaker 3: That's what it was.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Back to Karen. Back to Karen obviously, first time joining us.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Thanks for doing it. We're talking courtroom TV shows. Maybe
- 1:02Speaker 2: that's something that you love. Maybe it's something that you
- 1:05Speaker 2: don't know if you love, and you want to find out.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Because I've watched a case. I'm gonna tell my buddy
- 1:09Speaker 2: Dan here and you at home about that case.
- 1:12Speaker 3: You can guess the verdict and.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Then Dan's gonna do the exact same thing to me afterwards.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I'm a judge, Karen, you are judge Mathis judge my faith,
- 1:22Speaker 2: Judge Mathis, you want to get to it.
- 1:24Speaker 3: I would love to brand. I'm gonna go first today.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Jerry Worley give him all the money.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Jerry, Jerry Boberry.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Jerry Worley is suing Emmanuel Hooper for seven hundred dollars
- 1:36Speaker 2: for car repairs. Seven hundred dollars. Jerry says, I met
- 1:42Speaker 2: Emmanuel last summer working security at Cabrini Green.
- 1:46Speaker 3: That is what he says. Immediate, So Mathis immediately goes,
- 1:50Speaker 3: that's been demolished. You're lying immediately, That's what Matthis says.
- 1:54Speaker 3: What apparently it's a project that was like they're gonna
- 1:58Speaker 3: demolish and build new buildings. And he said, now you're
- 2:01Speaker 3: on her last year and it was the last building
- 2:03Speaker 3: still standing, and he gives the street name. In Matthis
- 2:05Speaker 3: is like, oh, you're right, it was still there.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I don't know anything else about it, but basically these
- 2:11Speaker 2: folks were hired security for like a low income housing
- 2:16Speaker 2: neighborhood and they ran security together Jerry and a manual.
- 2:20Speaker 1: So love it.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Jerry's like, we built a relationship, we were good friends.
- 2:24Speaker 2: We watched these other backs. Sometimes security is a tough gig.
- 2:27Speaker 2: He was my boss. He showed me the ropes. We
- 2:30Speaker 2: moved when that building went down. We moved together to
- 2:33Speaker 2: a different building to continue to run security and help
- 2:37Speaker 2: people in the projects, like hopefully do the best that
- 2:41Speaker 2: they can.
- 2:42Speaker 3: They were doing today.
- 2:43Speaker 2: They were the dream team. That's right, security double double time.
- 2:46Speaker 2: We enjoyed it. And Emanuel's like, yeah, what he says
- 2:48Speaker 2: is true. I was this boss. I was a shifts supervisor.
- 2:50Speaker 2: It's a tough job. We're fully armed, we got full
- 2:53Speaker 2: kevlar on. It's tough, and he goes. I had to
- 2:56Speaker 2: make sure he's capable of doing the job. Some people
- 2:58Speaker 2: show up and quit in the same day. But also like,
- 3:00Speaker 2: we have an important job. We have good folks here.
- 3:02Speaker 2: We got single moms working two jobs trying to make
- 3:04Speaker 2: ends me. We got all these blah blah blah. We
- 3:06Speaker 2: had young kids in the projects that we would help.
- 3:08Speaker 2: They would come and he goes, I had a really
- 3:10Speaker 2: nice car, like with big rims and nice speakers, and
- 3:13Speaker 2: these boys used to like love to listen to the music.
- 3:15Speaker 3: And Massives was like, why didn't you tell him to
- 3:18Speaker 3: stay in school? Were you handing them a joint while
- 3:20Speaker 3: you were at it, and like it was like just
- 3:22Speaker 3: come on, and then mathies because I'm joking around. You
- 3:24Speaker 3: guys are doing the lord's work. He does say that later,
- 3:26Speaker 3: but he does come On's exactly right, come on real strong.
- 3:30Speaker 3: So Jerry says, while we were working there, Emmanuel told
- 3:34Speaker 3: me he was going to move into trucking. He was
- 3:36Speaker 3: going to be a trucker. He was gonna leave security
- 3:38Speaker 3: and be a trucker. Wow. And so just because he
- 3:41Speaker 3: wanted more more money at different hours, was just getting
- 3:44Speaker 3: burned out on him.
- 3:44Speaker 1: So there's nothing about trucking that is no.
- 3:47Speaker 3: No, no, no super easy. Yeah.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Truckers just kind of like have a pretty cush it's easy, yeah,
- 3:53Speaker 2: and they gonna make a ton of money. Jerry's like,
- 3:56Speaker 2: I did training to be the supervisor, and when my
- 3:58Speaker 2: training was done, he became a trucker. And when he
- 4:02Speaker 2: was gonna leave, I said, hey, you got this car.
- 4:04Speaker 2: The kids love the car. What are you planning on
- 4:06Speaker 2: doing with this car? I have it while you're going
- 4:09Speaker 2: up to do to be a trucker. And he goes, well,
- 4:12Speaker 2: I'm probably just gonna leave it here, you know, and
- 4:14Speaker 2: I'm gonna for this first trucking thing.
- 4:16Speaker 3: He had to go do this training. He said he's
- 4:17Speaker 3: gonna be up for a few months. And Jerry's like, hey,
- 4:20Speaker 3: can I can I Can I borrow it? Can I
- 4:22Speaker 3: use the car while you're gone playing the music?
- 4:24Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 4:24Speaker 3: And I mean he was like, yes, you can use it.
- 4:26Speaker 3: You need daily drive it. It was a ninety three Bonneville
- 4:29Speaker 3: if you care. Oh, he said you could daily drive it. Yeah.
- 4:32Speaker 3: He was like, you can drive.
- 4:33Speaker 1: You can use the car, not just for not just
- 4:35Speaker 1: for entertainment. That's right, you can use a car.
- 4:37Speaker 3: And uh so two weeks after I start using it,
- 4:40Speaker 3: Jerry says that the belt snapped. There's a serpentine belt.
- 4:43Speaker 3: It snapped, and I called the serpentine beat. Yeah. I
- 4:47Speaker 3: called Emmanuel and I was like, hey, I got a
- 4:50Speaker 3: quote from this one mechanic. It's gonna be one hundred
- 4:53Speaker 3: and thirty dollars okay.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Uh.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Maths goes, were you buying this car? And Jerry goes, no, Oh,
- 5:00Speaker 3: I was just borrowing it while I was gone. And
- 5:02Speaker 3: Emmanuel never sent me the money to fix it. So
- 5:04Speaker 3: this mechanic was just a friend and he wasn't going
- 5:06Speaker 3: to fix it until he had the money. So it
- 5:09Speaker 3: never it didn't get fixed, and I was just.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Sitting there and thinking that he should fix this since
- 5:12Speaker 1: he was the one on driving it.
- 5:13Speaker 2: So Emmanuel then says, I told him i'd send him half. Clearly,
- 5:17Speaker 2: the belt was old, he was driving it, he's using
- 5:20Speaker 2: my car for free.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I felt like half was fair. I told him i'd
- 5:24Speaker 3: send him half totally. But then a few days later,
- 5:27Speaker 3: before i'd sent the money, he called back and said
- 5:29Speaker 3: it wasn't just the belt, it was the alternator too.
- 5:32Speaker 3: So now the total is over four hundred. And I
- 5:34Speaker 3: told him point blank, somebody's ripping you off. I'm not
- 5:36Speaker 3: paying it. I'm not paying the money. Jim Jerry says, listen,
- 5:41Speaker 3: you're honor. This first mechanic told me it was one
- 5:43Speaker 3: hundred and thirty dollars. I never got any money from
- 5:45Speaker 3: a manual, so I didn't pay him. So then he
- 5:48Speaker 3: said he wasn't doing it. So then I took it
- 5:50Speaker 3: to a different mechanic who said the bearings on the
- 5:53Speaker 3: alternator were almost completely worn down, that's why the belt snapped.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Both things need to be replaced. The car was undriveable.
- 6:02Speaker 3: They took it and said they'd fix it as soon
- 6:04Speaker 3: as they had the money. I told him this.
- 6:05Speaker 2: He said he wouldn't send me the money because because
- 6:10Speaker 2: he thought I was getting ripped off.
- 6:11Speaker 3: I kept telling him the car is stuck at this garage.
- 6:14Speaker 3: They have to fix it, and they began to charge
- 6:16Speaker 3: me a storage fee for fixing the car. I just
- 6:20Speaker 3: needed the half of the money that Emmanuel was gonna
- 6:23Speaker 3: send me. Mathis says, I need to see the paperwork.
- 6:26Speaker 3: He goes to, you have the estimate. He goes, No,
- 6:28Speaker 3: the estimate was from a different guy. All I have
- 6:30Speaker 3: is this this bill that they sent me.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I don't feel like I've ever had to pay before.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I don't. I don't feel like I've ever had to
- 6:37Speaker 1: do that.
- 6:37Speaker 3: No, but every garage is different, and I think that's
- 6:39Speaker 3: this side of towne. I think maybe that's that's fairy possible.
- 6:42Speaker 3: It's like La Wing doesn't start your meal. Do they
- 6:45Speaker 3: walk in and see your dad? It's part of the deal. So, uh,
- 6:49Speaker 3: Mathis goes the storage fees more than the work here.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Did you call him to let him know? And he goes, yes,
- 6:53Speaker 3: your honor, I did call him. I told him I
- 6:55Speaker 3: need the money. He never sent it. The garage had
- 6:58Speaker 3: this car because he's waiting on the money too. Emmanuel says,
- 7:01Speaker 3: you gotta be kidding right now. You didn't call me,
- 7:03Speaker 3: You didn't tell me any of this. Three hundred dollars
- 7:05Speaker 3: for an alternator is crazy. I have my own mechanic.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I can do that myself for way less than three
- 7:10Speaker 3: hundred dollars. Jerry's like, look, the bearings were gone. There
- 7:13Speaker 3: was nowhere the car could go. It would have cost
- 7:15Speaker 3: more to toe. It's that's why the belt goes with it.
- 7:18Speaker 3: This had to be done. And I was waiting on
- 7:20Speaker 3: his half of the money. And Mathis is like, they
- 7:24Speaker 3: do I have an estimate from him? He goes, No,
- 7:27Speaker 3: the first mechanic gave me the estimate for hundred thirty.
- 7:30Speaker 3: He goes. The first he goes, I'm just confusing, he goes.
- 7:32Speaker 3: But when they found out about the alternator, that's all
- 7:36Speaker 3: I could do. The car is sitting there, and and
- 7:40Speaker 3: after that first one hundred and thirty I didn't pay it.
- 7:42Speaker 3: I had to go to this other mechanic. Mathis is
- 7:44Speaker 3: ready to rule. At this point.
- 7:46Speaker 2: I this is interesting because I what's the guy who
- 7:51Speaker 2: owns the car that's not there?
- 7:52Speaker 3: Manual A.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Manuel doesn't have to let him use the car.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Correct, right, And so if a manual feels like hey,
- 8:01Speaker 2: when I could see myself just being like, I'm gonna
- 8:03Speaker 2: deal with this when I get home, right, I know
- 8:06Speaker 2: that I can do this myself. I feel like it's
- 8:08Speaker 2: getting ripped off. Why would I pay for this? You know?
- 8:11Speaker 3: And so I see what you're saying. What you're saying
- 8:14Speaker 3: is he should have said, don't deal with it, yes
- 8:16Speaker 3: at all, don't don't deal with me it all does
- 8:18Speaker 3: say he told him to get it fixed. So the belt,
- 8:22Speaker 3: the belt, the belts, not the rest of it. The
- 8:24Speaker 3: belt he said to get fixed when he got it alternator.
- 8:27Speaker 3: That was when he's like, no, I'm not doing this.
- 8:28Speaker 3: That was when your your line of reasoning would would hold.
- 8:32Speaker 3: It's interesting, it's interesting.
- 8:34Speaker 2: And he's saying it's one of these belts last for
- 8:37Speaker 2: tens of thousands of miles.
- 8:38Speaker 3: If I, like, I don't have a car with a
- 8:40Speaker 3: belt anymore. But if I had one like my truck,
- 8:44Speaker 3: and I had driven it for ninety some thousand miles
- 8:47Speaker 3: and then you drove it for ten miles and the
- 8:50Speaker 3: belt snapped on you, I would feel as though I
- 8:53Speaker 3: needed to.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Do I think the fifty to fifty thing that makes sense.
- 8:55Speaker 1: That makes sense to me.
- 8:56Speaker 3: I would pay the whole thing if you'd I let
- 8:58Speaker 3: you borrow my truck and in the ten miles you
- 9:00Speaker 3: drove it, I would pay the whole thing because I'm.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Like fair fair. The alternator is the interesting thing, like.
- 9:06Speaker 2: If he, if he as the owner of the car,
- 9:09Speaker 2: doesn't buy it, you know, it is like, hey, I
- 9:12Speaker 2: thought there's just a belt thing.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Now I'm being told to an alternator. I don't believe
- 9:16Speaker 1: that it is.
- 9:16Speaker 2: And if it is, it's something that now I feel
- 9:19Speaker 2: like I want to take care of myself. I think
- 9:20Speaker 2: as the owner of the car, he has the right
- 9:22Speaker 2: to make that decision. And so I feel like he
- 9:25Speaker 2: is going to make him pay the fifty percent of
- 9:29Speaker 2: what the quote was for the belt. Since he said
- 9:32Speaker 2: that he would pay that seventy five dollars, I think
- 9:35Speaker 2: it's gonna be Yeah, seven seventy sixty five dollars.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Yeah, he'll give him that, and I think that's it.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Mathis, You're very close. Mathis gives him the entire one
- 9:44Speaker 2: thirty Okay, he goes, you were driving the car. You
- 9:48Speaker 2: told him it was going to be one third price
- 9:49Speaker 2: of the belts. Yes, the price of the belt. He
- 9:51Speaker 2: didn't send anything. It's his car. He told you to
- 9:55Speaker 2: get it fixed. You get the one thirty. The rest
- 9:57Speaker 2: of that is on you. What you did after that.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Clearly he didn't want to get it fixed. You're not
- 10:03Speaker 2: getting a penny more than that. Here's one hundred and
- 10:05Speaker 2: thirty dollars. Get out of here.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Where's the car now?
- 10:07Speaker 2: I don't know that's I'm sure that Emmanuel got it
- 10:10Speaker 2: fixed and just has it back with this whole storage thing.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Would you if you just went like, I'm deciding I
- 10:16Speaker 2: don't want to.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Do this anymore. Can I just I just want to take.
- 10:19Speaker 2: My car back. You have to pay the storage shoe.
- 10:21Speaker 2: They wouldn't like, you can't just get your car back
- 10:23Speaker 2: because you got to toe it.
- 10:23Speaker 3: No, but that's that's not a that's not unusual for
- 10:28Speaker 3: garages that are doing work that they don't have.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Then, I'm just trying to think of how I would
- 10:33Speaker 1: handle the situation.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Well, I would say this, I don't know what's going
- 10:36Speaker 2: to happen there, because he's got to pay the somebody's
- 10:38Speaker 2: got to pay that storage seet.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I would feel like seven.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Hundred dollars I think I think he does pay for it. Eventually.
- 10:45Speaker 3: I may have been wrong on that.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Oh.
- 10:46Speaker 3: I think he did pay the whole seven hundred eventually
- 10:49Speaker 3: to get the car. I could be wrong. I don't
- 10:50Speaker 3: remember that, but I do think they allude to the
- 10:52Speaker 3: fact that the car's.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Out, car's got to get out sometimes yeah, or else
- 10:54Speaker 2: it's still it's still running up, trying the meters running.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I think once they called me and said, hey, we're
- 11:00Speaker 2: gonna start charging.
- 11:02Speaker 1: The thing, then I would toe it.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Well.
- 11:04Speaker 2: I would have towed it at that point and probably
- 11:08Speaker 2: brought it back and then let him deal with it.
- 11:10Speaker 3: But also, and this case is taking place in twenty ten,
- 11:13Speaker 3: and as soon as I heard alternator three hundred dollars,
- 11:16Speaker 3: I was like, if you were paying three hundred dollars
- 11:18Speaker 3: for an alternator, you were getting ripped off. Like if
- 11:23Speaker 3: you were, this is just a PSA. And I gotta
- 11:25Speaker 3: be honest, I don't know what they cost him twenty
- 11:26Speaker 3: twenty four, inflation and whatnot, But if you were paying
- 11:30Speaker 3: three hundred dollars for an alternator in twenty ten, you're
- 11:32Speaker 3: getting ripped off for a car that's seventeen years old.
- 11:35Speaker 3: You're just getting ripped off, plain and simple.
- 11:38Speaker 2: So I I think if he brought it to that
- 11:41Speaker 2: other mechanic and they threatened the storage.
- 11:46Speaker 1: If you toe it, I think he would have gotten
- 11:48Speaker 1: that money too.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it would have been like, hey, guy, he's doing
- 11:53Speaker 2: everything that you're asking him to do. He calls you up,
- 11:55Speaker 2: he said, it's going to be this amount of money
- 11:57Speaker 2: for the alternator.
- 11:58Speaker 1: You don't believe it. Tow it back.
- 11:59Speaker 2: You should pay that money. So I think, just tough,
- 12:03Speaker 2: just tough there. That's a tough situation. It's gonna judge Karen.
- 12:05Speaker 2: This is a fun one. Carter Steel ste his stripper name,
- 12:12Speaker 2: but uh, there it is. He doesn't say that. He
- 12:14Speaker 2: says his name is Carter Steel.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 12:16Speaker 2: He's suing Uh Stephanie Kelton for fifteen hundred dollars.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Oh my goodness.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Carter Steele is an exotic dancer, does private events.
- 12:26Speaker 3: He has a crew.
- 12:27Speaker 1: They go out, they'll do some stuff, dancing and whatnot.
- 12:31Speaker 2: He meets Stephanie through a mutual friend, and Stephanie was
- 12:34Speaker 2: planning a show, a Mother's Day special. Stephanie says the
- 12:40Speaker 2: plan was for the women to have some fun, watch
- 12:42Speaker 2: them dancing, but that the performers were to stay on stage.
- 12:46Speaker 2: It was a classy event. Okay, classic classy event.
- 12:50Speaker 3: We're not.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I'm not putting dollars in your draws anything like that.
- 12:55Speaker 3: This is a classic no dollars in draws.
- 12:57Speaker 2: That's exactly pay you fifteen hundred dollars when your boys
- 13:00Speaker 2: come up, do your dance, get out out.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Obviously that didn't happen.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Carter says, we never got to do the closing number
- 13:08Speaker 2: because she shut us down and she didn't pay us.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Stephanie says, I stopped a show after one of the
- 13:15Speaker 2: dancers grabbed a woman's hand and put it on his body.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Doesn't sound so class he does it?
- 13:24Speaker 3: It is. This is a very very interesting like what
- 13:29Speaker 3: the contract says is very important here.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Uh, she brings in a witness. Her name is Rebecca.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Rebecca and her mom went to the Mother's Day special
- 13:43Speaker 2: Mother's Day. You haven't taken your mom to an exotic
- 13:48Speaker 2: dance Mother's Day extravagance of what are you doing?
- 13:52Speaker 3: What do you do?
- 13:54Speaker 1: I take my mom to one every year.
- 13:56Speaker 3: It's a big deal for you.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Sit and sit and enjoy.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Classy.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Right, it's classy. You just walk just watched. Rebecca's mom
- 14:09Speaker 2: is friends with Stephanie. That's how they found out about
- 14:12Speaker 2: the event. To begin with, they were expecting to see
- 14:14Speaker 2: hot men dancing, but it ended up being more than
- 14:17Speaker 2: they bargained for. She explains that her and her mom
- 14:23Speaker 2: they showed up. She says they're both big supporters of
- 14:26Speaker 2: the arts.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Now after she.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Says that there's a woman behind her in the crowd
- 14:32Speaker 2: who laughs, but then no one else laughs and she
- 14:36Speaker 2: feels embarrassed by it. And it's a little things like
- 14:39Speaker 2: that that really But then Karen calls around and it's like,
- 14:43Speaker 2: this is an arts what are you talking about. You
- 14:45Speaker 2: could have gone to a play if you wanted to
- 14:46Speaker 2: support the arts. Instead, you went to a burlesque show,
- 14:49Speaker 2: So stop being all all up aty about it.
- 14:52Speaker 1: She says, okay. She explains that they started to take
- 14:55Speaker 1: off their clothes and Karen's like, well, they supposed to
- 14:59Speaker 1: take off their clothes, and she says, yes, but they
- 15:01Speaker 1: went too far. How Karen says, how far? She says, underpants?
- 15:09Speaker 3: Underpants?
- 15:10Speaker 1: Underpants. Karen says they're exotic dancers, don't know what they're
- 15:13Speaker 1: supposed to do that.
- 15:15Speaker 3: She says, that's what you played to win the game,
- 15:16Speaker 3: Like that's why that's why.
- 15:18Speaker 2: I was I was under the impression that that's what happens,
- 15:20Speaker 2: you know, with the whole whole thing there, it's the
- 15:23Speaker 2: whole ball game.
- 15:24Speaker 3: She says.
- 15:25Speaker 2: We were promised to classy events, and once they got
- 15:27Speaker 2: down to their under underpants, it was no longer a
- 15:30Speaker 2: classic event. Karen asks to see the contract that you mentioned,
- 15:36Speaker 2: Dano and gives that a gives that a read, and
- 15:38Speaker 2: asked Carter to bring in his witness. He brought in
- 15:41Speaker 2: a witness as well. Uh. He was the dancer in
- 15:44Speaker 2: question that ultimately had the event stopped on once he
- 15:50Speaker 2: uh did his number. He comes in and is like, okay,
- 15:55Speaker 2: so there was a girl named Rebecca and Karen's like,
- 15:58Speaker 2: that girl's name is Rebecca. He's like, yeah, it's her.
- 16:01Speaker 2: I don't forget a smile. Oh oh she smiles. Not
- 16:05Speaker 2: helping yourself there, buddy, She smiled too. No, she smiled
- 16:10Speaker 2: when he said oh wow. Yeah, He's like. I caught
- 16:15Speaker 2: her eyes and uh said that she was just really
- 16:18Speaker 2: staring at me. You know how you stare at somebody
- 16:21Speaker 2: when you're really attracted to him, And I could tell.
- 16:23Speaker 2: So I go over there to the handstand area.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Yeah, and you thought they weren't getting down of their
- 16:29Speaker 3: underpand and there's a handstand and at this point women
- 16:33Speaker 3: had gotten had gone up to the stage.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Okay, So women were out of their seats stand and
- 16:40Speaker 2: they were up close to the stage. Okay, And I
- 16:45Speaker 2: turn around. She sees my back muscles, and he says
- 16:50Speaker 2: that it was like she was possessed by the devil
- 16:54Speaker 2: or something. She grabs me and just starts screaming. She
- 16:59Speaker 2: gets it's on the stage. She starts dancing too, and
- 17:05Speaker 2: Karen asks how he knows that her name is Rebecca,
- 17:08Speaker 2: and he said, she whispered in my ear.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Why my name is Rebecca? So you saying it?
- 17:16Speaker 2: So her and her mom run up on stage, turn
- 17:20Speaker 2: on the lights, stop the show, and they refuse to
- 17:24Speaker 2: pay the fifteen hundred dollars.
- 17:26Speaker 3: So there's a bit of a difference in recollection of
- 17:29Speaker 3: story here between he grabbed her hand.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Now. What's interesting, Dan is after she her opening remarks
- 17:37Speaker 2: about grabbing someone's hands and putting it on their body,
- 17:41Speaker 2: she never dives into that side of the story.
- 17:45Speaker 1: She just mentioned it at the top. And basically, I'm.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Inclined to believe the strippers. I gotta be honest, Like,
- 17:51Speaker 3: it just seems like there's a lot more detail there.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Well, she's ready to rule.
- 17:55Speaker 3: I'm judge Karen has got a rule in favor of
- 17:58Speaker 3: the of Connor Steele. Here, you own the fifteen hundred bucks.
- 18:02Speaker 3: You can't if if some woman's out of control that
- 18:05Speaker 3: and you stop it. Because this woman's out of control,
- 18:08Speaker 3: you still paid them for a service. You gotta pay them.
- 18:11Speaker 2: She says, I'm not saying anything in this contract about
- 18:15Speaker 2: touching or about not about where they're supposed to be
- 18:20Speaker 2: on the stage versus off.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Just savee definitely gott to pay them. Now.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Can you show me in the contract where it says that,
- 18:24Speaker 2: And she says that may have been more of a
- 18:26Speaker 2: verbal agreement. She says, your verbal agreement ain't worth squat
- 18:29Speaker 2: here you owe him fifteen hund dollars to mister Steele
- 18:34Speaker 2: in the and the crew stealing the crew st the crew, guys,
- 18:39Speaker 2: I can't.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Properly portray how.
- 18:45Speaker 2: It was it Rebecca, how Rebecca was responding as the guys, she.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Did it and she would do it again.
- 18:52Speaker 2: So she if she comes in and she's acting like
- 18:55Speaker 2: she's all up and he we're a fan of the arts,
- 18:57Speaker 2: we were appalled, and as he begins to talk She
- 19:01Speaker 2: is flustered, she is blushing. She is like, yes, this
- 19:05Speaker 2: was a night I didn't expect him to be here today.
- 19:09Speaker 2: It was like she you could tell she was so embarrassed,
- 19:12Speaker 2: and it was it was wonderful. Yes, the strippers get
- 19:15Speaker 2: their money as they should, as they should pay the
- 19:18Speaker 2: strippers what they are We did.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Everybody.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Congratulations, gonna be back next week with two more cases. Yeah,
