- 0:08Speaker 1: We praise the Lord. I am Michael Jackson. Welcome to
- 0:11Speaker 1: The Bible Speaks Live. This is our Hot Topic Tuesday.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Glad you could join us. We're streaming right now live
- 0:17Speaker 1: over Facebook and YouTube, Facebook times two. And YouTube, once again,
- 0:21Speaker 1: glad to have you here. We pray that your time
- 0:23Speaker 1: spent here in God's Word will be a fruitful one. Amen. Amen.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Tonight we are kicking off a brand new series, a
- 0:31Speaker 1: series entitled For Believers Only. Straight talk, very straight talk
- 0:38Speaker 1: on this great salvation. And so we pray that you
- 0:42Speaker 1: will stay with us and join us as we get
- 0:46Speaker 1: into some of the meat of God's word in the
- 0:51Speaker 1: weeks to come. And we pray that you'll be blessed.
- 0:57Speaker 1: That's all we can say. We can only do that
- 1:01Speaker 1: which we believe the Lord has called us to do.
- 1:04Speaker 1: And that's what we will be doing here for the
- 1:07Speaker 1: next several weeks. Amen. We have a lot to talk
- 1:10Speaker 1: about concerning this great salvation. We'll be talking about a
- 1:16Speaker 1: variety of subjects concerning this great salvation. And so we
- 1:22Speaker 1: believe that it's important that that we understand what this
- 1:26Speaker 1: great salvation means and the different, all of the tentacles,
- 1:33Speaker 1: I will call it, all of the different tentacles that
- 1:35Speaker 1: are associated with it. Amen. And so we're going to
- 1:37Speaker 1: take the time in these studies to get to know
- 1:44Speaker 1: and get to understand this great salvation that we have
- 1:48Speaker 1: been given and that we have been called into. Amen.
- 1:51Speaker 1: So once again, we pray that you'll be blessed by
- 1:53Speaker 1: this offering. And also, let me just make this statement.
- 2:01Speaker 1: We welcome your questions and your comments as we move
- 2:06Speaker 1: along in this study. I'm sure that there may be
- 2:08Speaker 1: some questions and comments as we move along. So you're
- 2:15Speaker 1: welcome to do so as we get into God's word here. Amen.
- 2:20Speaker 1: God bless you, Dana. God bless you, Terrence. Amen. Amen.
- 2:23Speaker 1: So God is good. God is on the throne. And we,
- 2:25Speaker 1: once again, we honor him and we bless him and
- 2:27Speaker 1: we thank him for once again, giving us another opportunity
- 2:33Speaker 1: just to be able to open up his word. Amen.
- 2:35Speaker 1: God continues to be good all the time. Amen. So
- 2:40Speaker 1: we thank the Lord for that. Amen. Alrighty. We're going
- 2:43Speaker 1: to pray and we're going to get right up to it.
- 2:47Speaker 1: So Lord, we bless you. We honor you. We thank you, Lord.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Once again, you've given us Lord, another opportunity to be
- 2:52Speaker 1: able to come before you. Now, Lord, we devote this
- 2:56Speaker 1: time to you as we get into some of the
- 3:00Speaker 1: meat of your word, Lord Jesus. And we know that
- 3:04Speaker 1: some of the things that will be spoken of will
- 3:06Speaker 1: be some things that may be difficult to talk about.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Maybe things that will be, that maybe some may not
- 3:16Speaker 1: be familiar with, maybe, but Lord, Lord, We lay it
- 3:20Speaker 1: all before you, Lord Jesus. And Lord, we pray that
- 3:24Speaker 1: you would be blessed by this time spent in your word.
- 3:28Speaker 1: So Lord, we pray that you would have your way.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Bless us together. Draw those who need to hear these
- 3:31Speaker 1: words at this time to this place on the World
- 3:32Speaker 1: Wide Web. We want you to be the teacher, Lord.
- 3:35Speaker 1: So Lord, we pray that you would have your way
- 3:37Speaker 1: in Jesus' name. Amen and amen. Well, hallelujah. Hallelujah. God
- 3:41Speaker 1: is good. God is good. Once again, we just bless him.
- 3:44Speaker 1: We thank him and we honor him. Amen. Well, you know,
- 3:50Speaker 1: it's so important that you and I do not fall
- 3:54Speaker 1: into the trap of becoming comfortable in our Christianity. And
- 3:59Speaker 1: by comfortable, I mean, believing that we have everything down,
- 4:03Speaker 1: believing that we know everything. And I'm not sure if
- 4:06Speaker 1: I know that people don't walk around thinking that way,
- 4:08Speaker 1: that they know everything and not even thinking that they
- 4:12Speaker 1: understand everything. Even for those who believe that they have
- 4:15Speaker 1: some sort of a hold on, on doctrine. Amen. Those
- 4:22Speaker 1: who are heavy on doctrine never come to a conclusion
- 4:26Speaker 1: that you have it, you understand it, that your understanding
- 4:31Speaker 1: and what you need to know is complete. No, no, no.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It's never complete. We are ever learning, ever learning. We
- 4:40Speaker 1: are disciples. What you don't want to happen, if you
- 4:44Speaker 1: fall into that trap of believing that you have it,
- 4:46Speaker 1: that you know it, that you understand it, that you
- 4:49Speaker 1: get it. What can happen to you is that you
- 4:54Speaker 1: can become bamboozled, you can become hoodwinked, you can become
- 5:00Speaker 1: a hornswoggle. For those watching from somewhere around the world,
- 5:05Speaker 1: those are American phrases. Those are American phrases that simply
- 5:09Speaker 1: mean you can be tricked, you can be deceived. And
- 5:13Speaker 1: we don't want to fall into that category of being
- 5:16Speaker 1: individuals who have been deceived because we have become comfortable.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I know enough. I'm good. I understand. And listen, even
- 5:27Speaker 1: settling in and saying, listen, I understand the basics. And
- 5:31Speaker 1: you should definitely understand the basics. And Paul the apostle
- 5:37Speaker 1: talks about moving on and not just staying staying on
- 5:41Speaker 1: an even level. He says, I fed you with milk.
- 5:44Speaker 1: And he says that I can't go any further because
- 5:46Speaker 1: you haven't even gotten the milk. You're missing the meat
- 5:49Speaker 1: in your life. And so it's necessary that we move on,
- 5:52Speaker 1: but we need to get a hold of this great salvation.
- 5:56Speaker 1: We need to have an understanding of this great salvation.
- 5:59Speaker 1: It doesn't mean that you have to be a scholar.
- 6:01Speaker 1: It doesn't mean that you have to have certificates all
- 6:04Speaker 1: up on your wall and everything. And if you have that,
- 6:06Speaker 1: That's well and fine. I have that. That's well and fine.
- 6:09Speaker 1: But that doesn't define who you are in Christ. That
- 6:12Speaker 1: does not define who you are. You need to know
- 6:19Speaker 1: the Bible and especially this great salvation, this great salvation
- 6:25Speaker 1: that we have been given, that we have been blessed with. Amen.
- 6:29Speaker 1: So let's get underway. And listen, let me just say
- 6:32Speaker 1: this also. it's not enough just to simply say, and
- 6:36Speaker 1: once again, these words are good. These words are good.
- 6:39Speaker 1: You know, all I know is that I'm saved and
- 6:42Speaker 1: I'm sanctified and I'm filled with the Holy Ghost. That's
- 6:46Speaker 1: all I care about. Well, that's what you should care about.
- 6:50Speaker 1: You should care about being saved and sanctified and baptized
- 6:54Speaker 1: and filled with the Holy Ghost. But you can't stop that.
- 6:57Speaker 1: You just can't say, that's all I care about. Just, just, that's,
- 7:00Speaker 1: I don't want to hear anything else. I don't want
- 7:02Speaker 1: to hear, no, no, you need to hear anything else.
- 7:05Speaker 1: You need to know what is your salvation all about? Okay.
- 7:08Speaker 1: What is the value? What is the greatness of this salvation? Alrighty.
- 7:12Speaker 1: And so that's going to be, uh, that particular verse
- 7:15Speaker 1: in Hebrews, uh, chapter number two, uh, verse number three,
- 7:18Speaker 1: that's going to be our foundational scripture for this study,
- 7:21Speaker 1: at least for this portion of the study, that's going
- 7:24Speaker 1: to be our foundational scripture. How shall we escape? We'll
- 7:28Speaker 1: get more into it as we move along, but let's,
- 7:31Speaker 1: let's move into it. Let's get into it and see
- 7:36Speaker 1: if we can understand some things about this great salvation
- 7:40Speaker 1: that we have been blessed with. Amen. As believers, as believers,
- 7:49Speaker 1: we are called to be responsible. We need to be well-read.
- 7:55Speaker 1: We have to be wise and we need to be discerning,
- 7:58Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. When we're not, We are in no
- 8:02Speaker 1: uncertain terms, whether or not you realize it or not,
- 8:04Speaker 1: you are neglecting your salvation. If you don't take care
- 8:09Speaker 1: of your salvation, you are neglecting your salvation. Okay? Well-read, responsible, wise,
- 8:17Speaker 1: and discerning. These are necessary characteristics for every child of God.
- 8:24Speaker 1: And once again, we're not talking about being a scholar.
- 8:28Speaker 1: We're not talking about being scholarly at all. Being uninformed
- 8:34Speaker 1: concerning your salvation is neither useless, it's not unnecessary, and
- 8:40Speaker 1: it's not extra. Why do I need to know all
- 8:44Speaker 1: of that? Listen, I will guarantee you that there are believers,
- 8:50Speaker 1: that there are believers who have been saved for years, years,
- 8:57Speaker 1: And I'm not saying they're not saved, but they are
- 8:59Speaker 1: believers that don't know the first thing about sanctification. And
- 9:06Speaker 1: don't know anything about justification. All of these Asians, all
- 9:12Speaker 1: of these big words. I guarantee you that there are
- 9:16Speaker 1: believers who don't know the first thing about any of
- 9:18Speaker 1: those types of things. Yes, yes. They've just been in
- 9:24Speaker 1: church and going and doing. And for whatever reason, whether
- 9:27Speaker 1: the church just doesn't go down there and talk about
- 9:29Speaker 1: those things, for whatever reason, they have not been taught
- 9:33Speaker 1: or they have not taught themselves. They have not allowed
- 9:36Speaker 1: themselves to know these things. There are definitely believers who
- 9:40Speaker 1: don't know. And I'm not talking about the baby Christian.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I'm not talking about the one who just came to
- 9:45Speaker 1: the Lord. We don't expect anybody who is fresh. in
- 9:50Speaker 1: Christ to know these things. But if you've been saved
- 9:52Speaker 1: for years, if you claim to know the Lord and
- 9:56Speaker 1: been saved for years and to say that you don't
- 9:59Speaker 1: know anything about sanctification or justification or the glorification, then
- 10:05Speaker 1: your walk with the Lord is lacking. I'm not saying
- 10:10Speaker 1: you're not a Christian, of course not, but I'm saying
- 10:12Speaker 1: that your walk is lacking. You need to know what
- 10:16Speaker 1: are the components of this great salvation. this great salvation
- 10:21Speaker 1: that has been given to us. Okay? We can't just
- 10:25Speaker 1: let it sit. Don't do that. Amen? Okay? Doing so,
- 10:36Speaker 1: if you don't, in other words, if you neglect this
- 10:40Speaker 1: great salvation, your salvation, it's going to promote, doing so
- 10:45Speaker 1: will promote your spiritual education. Okay? When we When we
- 10:49Speaker 1: devote ourselves to knowing and understanding this great salvation, it
- 10:54Speaker 1: is going to promote your spiritual education, but more importantly,
- 10:59Speaker 1: it's going to enhance your daily sanctification. Yeah, yeah. Knowing
- 11:04Speaker 1: more about this great salvation will give you a fresh
- 11:09Speaker 1: understanding and will help you just to appreciate the salvation
- 11:15Speaker 1: that you have. The more you know about it, the
- 11:18Speaker 1: more you learn about it. Will you learn everything about it? No,
- 11:21Speaker 1: none of us are gonna learn everything about it. There
- 11:23Speaker 1: are things that the Lord has not told us that
- 11:26Speaker 1: we don't understand, that we yet don't know and we
- 11:30Speaker 1: wouldn't understand. But maybe that's the reason why he hasn't
- 11:32Speaker 1: told us certain things because we would not understand. But
- 11:36Speaker 1: the greatness of this salvation, when we look at it
- 11:39Speaker 1: from a distance and when we look deep into it, listen,
- 11:42Speaker 1: this salvation is something to behold. okay this salvation is
- 11:47Speaker 1: something to behold okay and that's what this series is
- 11:50Speaker 1: all about that's what this series of studies is all
- 11:53Speaker 1: about we want to dig in and learn about this
- 11:56Speaker 1: salvation what makes it work what makes it work what
- 12:00Speaker 1: makes it tick and we know what makes it work
- 12:01Speaker 1: and work what makes it tick it's jesus it's jesus
- 12:05Speaker 1: of course the short answer to that answer that question
- 12:08Speaker 1: is jesus he makes this he makes it all work
- 12:12Speaker 1: he makes it all come together but once again There
- 12:14Speaker 1: are certain components of this great salvation that we need
- 12:19Speaker 1: to learn so that we can learn the richness of
- 12:23Speaker 1: this great salvation, okay? So let's establish first the greatness
- 12:29Speaker 1: of this salvation. Let's try and establish the greatness of
- 12:32Speaker 1: this salvation as best we can. Now here's that scripture verse,
- 12:36Speaker 1: our foundational scripture, Hebrews 2 and 3. How shall we
- 12:39Speaker 1: escape if we neglect So great salvation, which at the
- 12:44Speaker 1: first began to be spoken by the Lord and was
- 12:48Speaker 1: confirmed unto us by them that heard him. Now, the
- 12:54Speaker 1: Greek word there, and I'll let you know at a
- 12:56Speaker 1: time that we will get into some Greek and maybe
- 13:00Speaker 1: even some Hebrew as we move along in this series. OK,
- 13:04Speaker 1: not not for the only reason that so that we
- 13:06Speaker 1: can understand what these words mean, having faith. having an
- 13:11Speaker 1: understanding of what the original language is talking about will
- 13:14Speaker 1: help to enhance the understanding of this great salvation. The
- 13:21Speaker 1: Greek word translated here, neglect, means to be careless of,
- 13:25Speaker 1: to disregard, or to simply pay no attention to. It's
- 13:30Speaker 1: to make light of. It's to deem a thing as
- 13:34Speaker 1: unimportant or unvaluable. Okay, and that's not how we want
- 13:39Speaker 1: to look at this great salvation. No, we don't want
- 13:43Speaker 1: to be careless. We don't want to disregard it. We
- 13:46Speaker 1: want to pay attention. Okay, we don't want to make
- 13:48Speaker 1: light of it. Okay, this salvation is great for a purpose. Amen.
- 13:56Speaker 1: So what is the meaning of great salvation when it
- 14:00Speaker 1: talks about being great? Okay, we read this scripture verse.
- 14:06Speaker 1: In Psalm 3, in verse number 8, salvation belongeth unto
- 14:10Speaker 1: the Lord. Thy blessing is upon thy people, Selah. This
- 14:14Speaker 1: means that in part, in part, that salvation begins, we're
- 14:21Speaker 1: talking about the greatness of this salvation, that salvation begins
- 14:26Speaker 1: and ends with God. Salvation belongeth unto the Lord. He
- 14:33Speaker 1: is the owner. He is the architect. He is the creator.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Let me just say he is the protector. Let me
- 14:40Speaker 1: add that one in there. It's all about God, this
- 14:44Speaker 1: great salvation, okay? Additionally, the word great speaks of the magnitude,
- 14:51Speaker 1: the vastness, and the comprehensive nature of God's salvation plan.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Jonah 2.9. says, but I will sacrifice unto thee with
- 15:04Speaker 1: the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay that which I
- 15:08Speaker 1: have vowed. Once again, salvation is of the Lord. Jonah
- 15:15Speaker 1: knew it. The psalmist knew it, that salvation is his.
- 15:21Speaker 1: The owner, operator, creator, protector, salvation is of the Lord. Amen. Now,
- 15:30Speaker 1: this also will include, when we're talking about this great salvation,
- 15:35Speaker 1: this also includes the immense price that was paid to
- 15:40Speaker 1: bring this great salvation about. Okay? Revelation 7.10, And cried
- 15:50Speaker 1: with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God, which
- 15:54Speaker 1: sitteth upon the throne and unto the Lamb. The Lamb, okay?
- 16:02Speaker 1: The Lamb of God, which was slain from when? From when?
- 16:06Speaker 1: From the foundation of the world. From the foundation of
- 16:11Speaker 1: the world. This great salvation is not something that popped up.
- 16:17Speaker 1: This great salvation was not something that happened simply because
- 16:24Speaker 1: of what happened in the Garden of Eden. God knew,
- 16:28Speaker 1: let's put this right out there, because of God's sovereignty
- 16:32Speaker 1: and because he is God and because he is omniscient,
- 16:36Speaker 1: meaning he knows everything, that means he knows the end
- 16:39Speaker 1: from the beginning. So did God know that Adam and
- 16:44Speaker 1: Eve would fail? Did he know that they would sin? Yes, yes.
- 16:48Speaker 1: It did not catch God by surprise. The salvation plan
- 16:53Speaker 1: was already put in place Before Adam and Eve were
- 16:57Speaker 1: ever created, the Lamb of God was slain. The plan
- 17:02Speaker 1: of salvation was already in place before the foundation of
- 17:07Speaker 1: the world. So no surprises in the Garden of Eden
- 17:12Speaker 1: as far as God is concerned. Okay, God didn't say, okay,
- 17:16Speaker 1: now I have to come up with another plan. I've
- 17:19Speaker 1: heard it put that way. by some teachers that what
- 17:22Speaker 1: happened in the Garden of Eden took God by surprise
- 17:25Speaker 1: and he had to come up with another plan. No, no, no, no.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Let's not blaspheme and look at God in such a
- 17:33Speaker 1: way that he didn't know something and something actually caught
- 17:37Speaker 1: the sovereign God by surprise. No, that has never happened
- 17:43Speaker 1: because God knows the end from the beginning. But once again,
- 17:49Speaker 1: this great salvation includes that immense price that was paid
- 17:53Speaker 1: to bring about this great salvation. Now, when we talk
- 17:56Speaker 1: about salvation itself, it refers to rescue or deliverance from enemies,
- 18:04Speaker 1: from danger, from affliction, and can also obviously include healing
- 18:10Speaker 1: and forgiveness of sins. We'll talk more about that as
- 18:14Speaker 1: we get along in this study. And so salvation is
- 18:18Speaker 1: something that we all needed. We all needed and all
- 18:23Speaker 1: men needed. All people need it because all have sinned
- 18:30Speaker 1: and all need deliverance from danger, the danger of hellfire,
- 18:37Speaker 1: the enemy, Satan, from affliction. And we need that type
- 18:42Speaker 1: of healing. And so it's important. that we understand, once again,
- 18:47Speaker 1: this great salvation. Let's talk about some of the blessings
- 18:51Speaker 1: and the benefits of this great salvation. Because a salvation
- 18:57Speaker 1: that is so great, there's a reason why it's so great.
- 19:03Speaker 1: We talked about the vastness and everything about it, but
- 19:06Speaker 1: there's a reason why salvation is so great, okay? Why
- 19:12Speaker 1: it's so, why the writer of Hebrews calls it so
- 19:16Speaker 1: great a salvation. Could have said this great salvation, okay?
- 19:21Speaker 1: This good salvation, okay? No, this so great a salvation, okay?
- 19:28Speaker 1: That's how the Holy Spirit put it. So great a salvation.
- 19:33Speaker 1: The blessings, some of the blessings. Now, once again, when
- 19:36Speaker 1: we talk about the blessings and benefits of this great salvation,
- 19:39Speaker 1: there's no way that we can be comprehensive. There's no
- 19:42Speaker 1: way that we can cover them all. We would be
- 19:44Speaker 1: here for years trying to talk about all of the
- 19:48Speaker 1: blessings and benefits of salvation. And so we will comprise
- 19:55Speaker 1: the majority of these blessings and benefits. We will come
- 19:59Speaker 1: from the book of Romans. I know for me, the
- 20:03Speaker 1: book of Ephesians is the go-to book when it comes
- 20:05Speaker 1: to the blessings of salvation. You read You read Ephesians
- 20:09Speaker 1: chapter one, especially, and chapter two, but read Ephesians chapter one,
- 20:13Speaker 1: and it talks about the blessings of this great salvation,
- 20:17Speaker 1: spiritual blessings in high places that we have. Read the
- 20:22Speaker 1: first chapter of Ephesians, but you can also find out
- 20:24Speaker 1: about the blessings and benefits of this great salvation by
- 20:28Speaker 1: reading the book of Romans, and especially Romans chapter number five.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Once again, here we go. In Ephesians 1 and 3,
- 20:36Speaker 1: blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
- 20:39Speaker 1: who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly
- 20:45Speaker 1: places in Christ. And, you know, when we look at,
- 20:48Speaker 1: when we think of blessings, okay, when we think of
- 20:52Speaker 1: blessings and benefits, our mind, many minds go immediately to
- 20:58Speaker 1: material things, financial prosperity. And we know the prosperity gospel
- 21:04Speaker 1: has taken us there. But no, this is talking about
- 21:08Speaker 1: spiritual blessings. Spiritual blessings. And spiritual blessings are blessings that
- 21:14Speaker 1: are not necessarily tangible. You can't put your hand on it.
- 21:19Speaker 1: You can't put your finger on it. But they are
- 21:22Speaker 1: nonetheless real. These are spiritual blessings in high places because
- 21:29Speaker 1: that's where they are founded. And that's how we receive them. Amen.
- 21:34Speaker 1: So it's important that we understand that this great salvation
- 21:38Speaker 1: is chock full of spiritual blessings. It is chock full
- 21:43Speaker 1: of spiritual blessings. Here's the blessing number one. Let's talk
- 21:47Speaker 1: about this first one here. Romans chapter five and verse
- 21:51Speaker 1: number one, therefore being justified by faith. And that's a
- 21:54Speaker 1: blessing in itself. We have peace with God. We have
- 22:00Speaker 1: peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We have peace.
- 22:08Speaker 1: We have peace. Did you know that in Christ you
- 22:11Speaker 1: have peace? You are no longer at war with God.
- 22:16Speaker 1: You are no longer his enemy. There is no more
- 22:19Speaker 1: rebellion that you were in before you came to Christ.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Maybe you didn't think you were in rebellion. Maybe you
- 22:25Speaker 1: didn't feel like you were God's enemy. Maybe you were
- 22:27Speaker 1: in church for a bulk of your life and you
- 22:30Speaker 1: didn't see yourself as an enemy or in rebellion. But
- 22:33Speaker 1: that's exactly what it was. Okay? But now, in Christ,
- 22:38Speaker 1: we have peace with God. He doesn't view us as
- 22:43Speaker 1: an enemy. Okay? He doesn't view us as rebels. Okay?
- 22:48Speaker 1: We have now peace with him. And I know you
- 22:52Speaker 1: can sense that peace many times when things go wrong.
- 22:56Speaker 1: And I know when things go wrong sometimes in our lives,
- 22:59Speaker 1: that sometimes the enemy tries to bring turmoil and frustration
- 23:02Speaker 1: and all these things. But all we need do is
- 23:05Speaker 1: to remember, is to remember who our God is. And
- 23:09Speaker 1: remember Romans 8 and 28, for God causes all things
- 23:13Speaker 1: to work together for good to those who love God,
- 23:16Speaker 1: to those who are the called according to his purposes.
- 23:18Speaker 1: if we can keep that scripture, if we can keep
- 23:21Speaker 1: that scripture and tuck it away in our hearts, we
- 23:25Speaker 1: can maintain the peace that we have with God, the
- 23:30Speaker 1: peace that we have with God. He has given us,
- 23:34Speaker 1: he has given us peace, amen? That is so important, okay?
- 23:40Speaker 1: Romans chapter five in verse number two, the first part,
- 23:44Speaker 1: it says, by whom also we have peace. Access by
- 23:50Speaker 1: faith into this grace wherein we stand. We have access. Access.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Do you see your salvation that way? That now you
- 24:03Speaker 1: have access by faith into this grace. Okay? And once again,
- 24:11Speaker 1: The grace that we talked about, the justification is a
- 24:14Speaker 1: blessing in itself. The grace is a blessing in itself,
- 24:17Speaker 1: but we have access by faith, okay, into this grace
- 24:23Speaker 1: wherein we stand. We are standing in grace. Think about that.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Think about that. You and I are standing in grace.
- 24:35Speaker 1: The way I've the way I like to describe it myself,
- 24:38Speaker 1: we are standing neck deep in grace. We are right
- 24:44Speaker 1: up to here in grace. Grace surrounds us, okay? We
- 24:52Speaker 1: are enamored by his grace. We can't get away from
- 24:56Speaker 1: his grace. Everything that happens, everything about us in Christ,
- 25:01Speaker 1: it's all about his grace, his grace. And I know, yes,
- 25:07Speaker 1: his grace is amazing. And any other great word that
- 25:11Speaker 1: you can think about, that's what grace is, okay? It's powerful.
- 25:16Speaker 1: It's matchless. It's amazing, okay? God's grace. And we have
- 25:22Speaker 1: access by faith into this grace. What kind of access
- 25:28Speaker 1: do we have? We have access to the presence of God.
- 25:34Speaker 1: We have access to the presence of God. Hebrews 4
- 25:38Speaker 1: and 16, let us therefore come boldly. How are we
- 25:42Speaker 1: to come? Boldly, boldly unto the throne of grace that
- 25:49Speaker 1: we may receive, that we may obtain mercy and find
- 25:53Speaker 1: grace to help in time of need. We have access
- 25:58Speaker 1: to the presence of God. We're not to be shy
- 26:01Speaker 1: about coming to the Lord, not to be shy at all.
- 26:05Speaker 1: We have to come. We must come. We have the
- 26:08Speaker 1: right to come boldly, boldly to the throne of grace. Amen.
- 26:14Speaker 1: That is important. We have access to the protection, the
- 26:19Speaker 1: protection of God. Here's what it says in Psalm 710.
- 26:22Speaker 1: It says, my defense is of God. which saveth the
- 26:28Speaker 1: upright in heart. He's talking about those who are righteous.
- 26:31Speaker 1: He's talking about those who trust him, okay? We have access.
- 26:36Speaker 1: God is my defense. He is my protection. We have
- 26:40Speaker 1: access to the protection of God. We have access to next.
- 26:45Speaker 1: We have access to the provision. the provision of God.
- 26:50Speaker 1: And we are familiar with this verse, but my God
- 26:52Speaker 1: shall what? Shall supply all your need, all my need,
- 26:57Speaker 1: according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. And
- 27:02Speaker 1: there are those times, there are those times where we
- 27:07Speaker 1: don't have the resources that we need. And it's seemingly
- 27:13Speaker 1: that we don't have the provisions that we need to live.
- 27:18Speaker 1: But we have to trust God. We have to trust God.
- 27:22Speaker 1: What does it say? But my God shall supply all
- 27:28Speaker 1: your need, all your need according to his riches in
- 27:33Speaker 1: glory by Christ Jesus. We can have to continue to
- 27:38Speaker 1: trust God. Amen. We got to continue to trust God.
- 27:42Speaker 1: We have access to our God in prayer. access to
- 27:47Speaker 1: our God in prayer. 1 John 5, verses 14 and 15.
- 27:53Speaker 1: And this is the confidence that we have in him,
- 27:58Speaker 1: that if we ask anything according to his will, underline that,
- 28:07Speaker 1: highlight that in your Bibles, anything according to his will,
- 28:11Speaker 1: doesn't say if we ask anything, okay? Anything according to
- 28:15Speaker 1: his will, He hears us. And if we know that
- 28:19Speaker 1: he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we
- 28:24Speaker 1: have the petitions that we desired of him. Once again,
- 28:28Speaker 1: as long as it is in alignment with his will. Okay?
- 28:34Speaker 1: We can trust that we will receive that which we
- 28:37Speaker 1: have prayed for in line with his will. That always
- 28:43Speaker 1: must be the case. Amen? Okay? Okay? So those are
- 28:46Speaker 1: just some of the things that we have access to.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Let's get back to the blessings and benefits of this
- 28:53Speaker 1: great salvation. In Romans chapter five, verse two, the second part,
- 28:58Speaker 1: it says, and rejoice in the hope of the glory
- 29:02Speaker 1: of God. We have a blessing and benefit of this
- 29:07Speaker 1: great salvation is that we have hope. We have hope
- 29:14Speaker 1: in the glory. in the glory of God. Amen. We
- 29:19Speaker 1: have hope in the glory of God. Now, what do
- 29:24Speaker 1: we have? What exactly is it that we have hope in? Well,
- 29:29Speaker 1: here it says that we have hope in the return
- 29:34Speaker 1: of the Lord. We have hope in the return of
- 29:38Speaker 1: the Lord. Looking forward, for that blessed hope and the
- 29:42Speaker 1: glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Looking for. We have hope in the fact that he
- 29:52Speaker 1: is coming again. That he is coming back for us.
- 29:58Speaker 1: As Scripture says, he's coming back for a church without
- 30:00Speaker 1: spot or wrinkle. Okay? He is coming back for us. Amen?
- 30:07Speaker 1: And we look forward to his coming. We're looking for
- 30:11Speaker 1: that blessed hope. Amen? We have hope in the redemption
- 30:16Speaker 1: of our bodies. Ah, here's what it says. Behold, I
- 30:21Speaker 1: show you a mystery here in 1 Corinthians 15. I
- 30:25Speaker 1: show you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but
- 30:30Speaker 1: we shall be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling
- 30:36Speaker 1: of an eye, at the last trump, for the trumpet
- 30:40Speaker 1: shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and
- 30:44Speaker 1: we shall be changed. You read that with 1 Thessalonians
- 30:50Speaker 1: chapter four and you can shout all you want, okay?
- 30:55Speaker 1: Because this is the inside look at the rapture. This
- 31:00Speaker 1: is talking about the rapture right here. This is another
- 31:05Speaker 1: couple of verses that are talking about the rapture of
- 31:09Speaker 1: the church. Amen. The rapture of the church. So once again,
- 31:14Speaker 1: we have hope in the redemption of our bodies. Listen,
- 31:19Speaker 1: you can't get into heaven in this body that you
- 31:23Speaker 1: have right now. Okay, it's corrupt. Okay, your body is corrupt.
- 31:31Speaker 1: It is full of sin. And I'm saying that in
- 31:34Speaker 1: the light of this great salvation that we have, this
- 31:37Speaker 1: body is full of sin and it's full of the
- 31:41Speaker 1: effects of sin. Amen. You have a sin nature. You
- 31:46Speaker 1: can sin. Listen, don't, don't, don't, Don't believe that because
- 31:55Speaker 1: you are a Christian and you love the Lord and
- 31:59Speaker 1: you praise his name, that grievous sin is something that
- 32:03Speaker 1: is not possible in your life. Because it is. I'm
- 32:07Speaker 1: not saying I'm not trying to wish something bad on somebody.
- 32:11Speaker 1: I'm just saying that as long as you are in
- 32:14Speaker 1: these feeble, moral, immoral and corrupt bodies that has a
- 32:20Speaker 1: sin nature yet in it. that is still active, that
- 32:26Speaker 1: sin is still yet possible in your life. You can sin.
- 32:31Speaker 1: You can still sin. Okay? You can sin very badly. Okay?
- 32:38Speaker 1: It is possible. Okay? This is why we must continue
- 32:43Speaker 1: to look to the Lord and stay under the blood
- 32:46Speaker 1: and once again begin to appreciate this great salvation that
- 32:50Speaker 1: we have. But we have this hope, once again, that
- 32:54Speaker 1: our bodies are going to be redeemed. We also have
- 32:58Speaker 1: a hope in the reunion with our loved ones. Amen?
- 33:05Speaker 1: And here we go in 1 Thessalonians 4 and 16
- 33:08Speaker 1: and 17. You got to put the last two verses,
- 33:11Speaker 1: 1 Corinthians 15, 51 and 52, put it right here
- 33:15Speaker 1: with these two verses from 1 Corinthians. For the Lord
- 33:18Speaker 1: himself shall descend from heaven with a shout with the
- 33:23Speaker 1: voice of the archangel and with the trump of God,
- 33:25Speaker 1: the same one they were talking about in first Corinthians
- 33:28Speaker 1: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we,
- 33:33Speaker 1: which are alive and remain shall be caught up together
- 33:36Speaker 1: with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in
- 33:39Speaker 1: the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Praise God. We will have, we have hope in the
- 33:49Speaker 1: reunion with our Lord. loved ones we have hope in
- 33:53Speaker 1: that reunion with our loved ones now i am of
- 33:57Speaker 1: the view that the rapture and the resurrection are two
- 34:01Speaker 1: separate events and i know that there are those who
- 34:03Speaker 1: say that the rapture and the resurrection are the same
- 34:06Speaker 1: thing that's not what that's not what uh that's not
- 34:09Speaker 1: the take that i have because they are two different
- 34:12Speaker 1: words the word rapture means to snatch away uh and
- 34:17Speaker 1: that's not what's going to happen to those who are resurrected.
- 34:21Speaker 1: To be resurrected is to be raised from death to life.
- 34:25Speaker 1: So there are two different phrases with two different meanings,
- 34:29Speaker 1: two different understandings. So the rapture is a snatching and
- 34:33Speaker 1: the resurrection is a raising up. So I don't put
- 34:36Speaker 1: those two together, but they both will happen. They both
- 34:40Speaker 1: will happen at that particular time, okay? But we call
- 34:44Speaker 1: it the rapture. Some people call it the resurrection, but
- 34:48Speaker 1: however you call it, they are two separate events happening
- 34:52Speaker 1: within one. That's how I view it. Nevertheless, we have
- 34:57Speaker 1: this particular hope. We have this particular hope in the
- 35:01Speaker 1: reunion with our loved ones, amen? Continuing with these blessings
- 35:08Speaker 1: and benefits of this great salvation. In Romans 5, first
- 35:12Speaker 1: part of verse number five, It says, and hope maketh
- 35:16Speaker 1: not a shame because the love of God is shed
- 35:19Speaker 1: abroad in our hearts. We have the love of God
- 35:26Speaker 1: poured out into our hearts. That's what that phrase shed abroad.
- 35:30Speaker 1: It means poured out into. And I know that it
- 35:34Speaker 1: is something that we don't display all the time. It's
- 35:40Speaker 1: something that is not always in view in our lives.
- 35:45Speaker 1: in all of our lives, but we have the capacity
- 35:49Speaker 1: to love as God loves. This love that he pours
- 35:54Speaker 1: out into our hearts when we become born again is
- 35:58Speaker 1: agape love. We have the ability to love as he loves.
- 36:07Speaker 1: What happens is there's so much, there's so much flesh
- 36:12Speaker 1: And so much sin nature that is still in us
- 36:18Speaker 1: that we do not always execute the love of God
- 36:24Speaker 1: as we can, as we ought. It doesn't always show itself.
- 36:28Speaker 1: And I know it does show itself. It most definitely
- 36:32Speaker 1: does reveal itself in our lives. But I think maybe
- 36:37Speaker 1: for many of us, not enough. Not enough. But we
- 36:41Speaker 1: have that capacity as we continue to look to the Lord.
- 36:45Speaker 1: We have the love of God poured out. Think of
- 36:53Speaker 1: a big barrel of something. We have the love of
- 36:58Speaker 1: God poured out into our hearts. We can love as
- 37:06Speaker 1: he loves. It's a blessing. It is a benefit of
- 37:10Speaker 1: this great salvation. Okay? Next, we see that in the
- 37:18Speaker 1: second part of this verse, it says, by the Holy Ghost,
- 37:22Speaker 1: the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts
- 37:29Speaker 1: by the Holy Ghost, which is given to us. We
- 37:32Speaker 1: have the Holy Ghost. Oh, you and I have the
- 37:38Speaker 1: Holy Ghost. what the book of ephesians calls the the
- 37:43Speaker 1: the seal we have the seal we have the holy
- 37:47Speaker 1: ghost where would we be without the holy ghost well
- 37:51Speaker 1: we wouldn't be saved without the holy ghost in us
- 37:56Speaker 1: amen he leads us he guides us he directs us
- 38:00Speaker 1: okay we have the holy ghost and i and i
- 38:05Speaker 1: know and i know That many look at the Holy
- 38:10Speaker 1: Ghost as the giver of gifts. And of course, that's
- 38:14Speaker 1: exactly what he is. And that's exactly what he does.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Go to Ephesians chapter number four. You read about some
- 38:19Speaker 1: of the gifts. Then you read about the five-fold ministry
- 38:22Speaker 1: there and the reason why he's given us these gifts.
- 38:25Speaker 1: But let's not just put the Holy Ghost, the Holy
- 38:29Speaker 1: Spirit in a box and say, that's all he's about.
- 38:32Speaker 1: The Holy Ghost is just about the gifts of the Spirit.
- 38:34Speaker 1: The Holy Ghost is just about speaking in tongues. No, no, no. Wrong, wrong, wrong.
- 38:39Speaker 1: The Holy Ghost is about much more than the giving
- 38:42Speaker 1: of gifts and the Holy Ghost or speaking in tongues.
- 38:47Speaker 1: There's much more to the Holy Ghost than that. And
- 38:52Speaker 1: when we do that, when we do that, we do
- 38:55Speaker 1: put the Holy Ghost into a box and we say,
- 38:58Speaker 1: that's what he does. That's what he's about. That's what
- 39:01Speaker 1: he does. He makes us jump. He makes us shout.
- 39:03Speaker 1: He makes us dance. And no, no, no, no, no, stop. Now,
- 39:06Speaker 1: I didn't say stop doing that, but that's not what
- 39:09Speaker 1: he's all about, okay? That's not what he's all about.
- 39:13Speaker 1: He's a discerner. He teaches. Once again, we said he guides.
- 39:19Speaker 1: That's another teaching all in itself, what the Holy Ghost
- 39:23Speaker 1: does for believers, amen, and for the church, okay? But
- 39:28Speaker 1: let's not let's not put the holy ghost in a
- 39:30Speaker 1: box and say this is what he does right here
- 39:32Speaker 1: and that's it no no come out of that come
- 39:36Speaker 1: out of that the holy ghost is not just about
- 39:39Speaker 1: that and i'm not saying that those other things are
- 39:42Speaker 1: not important but you got to expand your horizons the
- 39:48Speaker 1: holy ghost is more than speaking in tongues and shouting
- 39:52Speaker 1: and dancing. And he's more than that. Okay. Way, much
- 39:56Speaker 1: more than all of that. Amen. So much more. Number six,
- 40:03Speaker 1: we have been saved from wrath. We have been saved
- 40:10Speaker 1: from wrath. Romans five and nine, much more than being
- 40:13Speaker 1: now justified by his blood. That's a teaching right in there.
- 40:17Speaker 1: We shall be saved from wrath Through him, we have
- 40:22Speaker 1: been saved from wrath. Scripture says that God has not
- 40:25Speaker 1: called us unto wrath, but to receive mercy. Okay, so
- 40:30Speaker 1: that's one of the blessings, the benefits of this great salvation.
- 40:33Speaker 1: We've been saved from wrath. God is not angry at us.
- 40:38Speaker 1: He's not gonna pour out judgment on his people. That's
- 40:41Speaker 1: why he's gonna take us up out of here before
- 40:44Speaker 1: the tribulation, amen? We have been saved from wrath. Now,
- 40:50Speaker 1: don't let that statement also give you license. Don't let
- 40:55Speaker 1: any of these statements give you license. Oh, well, hey, look,
- 40:57Speaker 1: my salvation is so great, man. All I got to
- 40:59Speaker 1: do is just kick back and sit back and relax
- 41:02Speaker 1: because he's coming. No, no, no, no, no, no. That
- 41:06Speaker 1: is never the attitude that we should have concerning our
- 41:09Speaker 1: great salvation. We still talked about it at the beginning.
- 41:11Speaker 1: If you have that kind of attitude concerning your salvation,
- 41:14Speaker 1: then you're missing out and you are purposely missing out
- 41:18Speaker 1: and you are being rebellious. okay, and disobedient if you
- 41:22Speaker 1: just think that because you're so blessed that there's nothing
- 41:26Speaker 1: that you need to do. There's plenty that you need
- 41:28Speaker 1: to do. There's plenty that you need to do. Amen?
- 41:33Speaker 1: Finally here, it says that we have been reconciled to God,
- 41:37Speaker 1: Romans 5 and 10. For if when we were enemies,
- 41:41Speaker 1: and that's exactly what we were, we were reconciled to
- 41:45Speaker 1: God by the death of his son, much more being reconciled,
- 41:48Speaker 1: we shall be saved by God. his life. You can
- 41:52Speaker 1: go on and on and on. We are saved by
- 41:55Speaker 1: his life. We are reconciled. We are reconciled. We were enemies.
- 42:01Speaker 1: We were disassociated with God. We were alienated from God,
- 42:07Speaker 1: but we have now been reconciled. We've been brought back
- 42:12Speaker 1: to him. Amen. To the place where we belong. That's
- 42:16Speaker 1: a blessing. That's a benefit of this great salvation. And
- 42:21Speaker 1: we need to keep that in mind. Amen? So now,
- 42:25Speaker 1: how can this great salvation, how can it be neglected?
- 42:32Speaker 1: Because that's what we're talking about. How shall we escape
- 42:36Speaker 1: if we neglect so great a salvation? How do you
- 42:41Speaker 1: go about neglecting this salvation? Okay? You neglect this salvation
- 42:48Speaker 1: for the unbeliever. For the unbeliever, Neglecting this great salvation involves,
- 42:53Speaker 1: number one, ignoring Christ and the gospel. Number two, it
- 43:00Speaker 1: involves despising Christ and the gospel. This is what an unbeliever.
- 43:05Speaker 1: And finally, and probably most important of all, is not
- 43:08Speaker 1: believing Christ and the gospel. It is unbelief that will
- 43:14Speaker 1: bring any person to hell. Whoever is in hell, whoever
- 43:18Speaker 1: will be in hell, it is because of unbelief. We
- 43:22Speaker 1: read about the children of Israel that they could not
- 43:25Speaker 1: enter into the rest that God provided because of unbelief. Unbelief.
- 43:31Speaker 1: And bring that to where we live today. A person
- 43:35Speaker 1: will not go to hell because they drink, they smoke,
- 43:37Speaker 1: they lie, they fornicate, commit adultery and do all sorts
- 43:39Speaker 1: of evil sins. That's not the reason why people go
- 43:43Speaker 1: to hell. And those things are terrible. People will go
- 43:47Speaker 1: to hell because they do not believe. They do not believe.
- 43:53Speaker 1: And not believing, all of those things I mentioned, they
- 43:56Speaker 1: are byproducts of unbelief. When you don't believe, that's your life. Okay?
- 44:04Speaker 1: But the root of those things is unbelief. Okay? And
- 44:09Speaker 1: so this, this, this is how this great salvation happens.
- 44:16Speaker 1: is neglected for the unbeliever. Now, what about the believer? Okay,
- 44:23Speaker 1: but for the believer to whom the book of Hebrews
- 44:25Speaker 1: is primarily written, this great salvation is neglected when we
- 44:34Speaker 1: don't understand salvation's worth, okay? When we don't understand, when
- 44:41Speaker 1: we as believers don't understand the value The worth of
- 44:46Speaker 1: this salvation. When we don't understand the sanctity of it.
- 44:50Speaker 1: How holy it is. When we don't understand the power.
- 44:55Speaker 1: The power that is in it. The power that it is. Amen.
- 45:00Speaker 1: What does the Bible say? Let me go to Romans.
- 45:04Speaker 1: Let me go real quick to the book of Romans.
- 45:08Speaker 1: Chapter number one. Romans chapter number one. I'm going to
- 45:13Speaker 1: make sure I get the scripture right. All righty. For
- 45:20Speaker 1: I am not, for I am not ashamed of the
- 45:24Speaker 1: gospel of Christ, for it is, it, it, what? The gospel,
- 45:29Speaker 1: where our salvation is. For it is the power of God.
- 45:34Speaker 1: This salvation, this gospel is the power of God unto
- 45:37Speaker 1: salvation to everyone that believe it, to the Jew first
- 45:41Speaker 1: and also to the Greek. And so as a believer,
- 45:44Speaker 1: if you don't understand the value of your salvation, if
- 45:48Speaker 1: you don't understand the holiness of your salvation, and if
- 45:51Speaker 1: you don't understand the intrinsic power of this great salvation,
- 45:57Speaker 1: you're on rocky ground, okay? Finally, if you don't understand
- 46:02Speaker 1: the limitations of this great salvation, you say limitations? This
- 46:07Speaker 1: salvation is of the Lord. We've already said that. What
- 46:09Speaker 1: do you mean? There are limitations to this great salvation? Yes. Yes. Yes.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Limitations meaning that you don't have license to do whatever
- 46:19Speaker 1: you want to do. Okay? This great salvation gives us freedom,
- 46:25Speaker 1: but not the freedom to live and do as you please.
- 46:30Speaker 1: So there are limitations on this great salvation. There are
- 46:35Speaker 1: certain limitations that do exist. Okay? There are those who
- 46:42Speaker 1: are in the mindset that because they are saved now,
- 46:45Speaker 1: They are safe and protected and they can, I'm saved.
- 46:50Speaker 1: So I'm good now. Wrong, wrong. If you're thinking that way,
- 46:56Speaker 1: either you have not been taught properly or you're really
- 46:59Speaker 1: not saved as you think you are. If you think
- 47:02Speaker 1: that because you're saved, you can still do the things
- 47:05Speaker 1: that you used to do. No, you still can't. No,
- 47:08Speaker 1: you can't do the things that you used to do.
- 47:11Speaker 1: No way, no way. How? Okay. We're going to close
- 47:17Speaker 1: with these three things. Three things explicitly characterize this great salvation.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Three things. Okay. Number one, the divine source. The divine
- 47:36Speaker 1: source of this great salvation. We talked about it earlier.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Salvation belongs to the Lord. Thy blessing is upon thy people.
- 47:47Speaker 1: What blessing? The blessing of this great salvation is upon
- 47:51Speaker 1: your people. Once again, we talked about that in Psalm 3, 8. Secondly,
- 47:58Speaker 1: when we talk about this great salvation, it's all encompassing scope.
- 48:05Speaker 1: The scope. For God so loved a few. For God
- 48:10Speaker 1: so loved some. For God so, no. For God so
- 48:15Speaker 1: loved the world that he gave his only begotten son,
- 48:20Speaker 1: that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
- 48:23Speaker 1: everlasting life. There are those who take this verse, and
- 48:28Speaker 1: we're going to be talking about this down the line.
- 48:30Speaker 1: There are those who take this verse to mean that
- 48:33Speaker 1: God so loved the world that would put their trust
- 48:36Speaker 1: in him. Meaning that there is what, what is called
- 48:41Speaker 1: a limited atonement, meaning that Jesus only died for the
- 48:46Speaker 1: ones who would put their trust in him. Jesus did
- 48:49Speaker 1: not die for the entirety of the world because if
- 48:52Speaker 1: Jesus died for the whole world, then the whole world
- 48:55Speaker 1: would be saved. That's the doctrinal view of many. That's
- 49:00Speaker 1: not the doctrinal view of me, but that's what that
- 49:03Speaker 1: verse means to many that are within the body of Christ.
- 49:07Speaker 1: So we have to understand the all-encompassing scope of the gospel.
- 49:13Speaker 1: God so loved, or he loved the world so much.
- 49:19Speaker 1: The world so much. Amen? Finally, its central focus. The
- 49:29Speaker 1: central focus of this great salvation. We mentioned it in
- 49:35Speaker 1: passing earlier. For other foundations, Can no man lay, then
- 49:43Speaker 1: that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. He is the central.
- 49:51Speaker 1: He is the absolute central focus of this great salvation.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Tangi says, I believe if you are truly saved, you
- 50:03Speaker 1: don't want to do the same thing you used to.
- 50:05Speaker 1: I want to please my Savior. That is correct. That
- 50:08Speaker 1: is absolutely correct. If you're truly saved, you don't want
- 50:11Speaker 1: to do those things anymore, okay? You don't want to
- 50:14Speaker 1: do those things anymore. Listen, you have become a new creation.
- 50:18Speaker 1: You have become a new creature. You have been given
- 50:20Speaker 1: a new heart. You have been given new desires. You
- 50:24Speaker 1: don't want to do those things. Now, once again, let
- 50:26Speaker 1: me just say this also, that you're not going to
- 50:30Speaker 1: get perfect. You're not going to be perfect. Sin is
- 50:32Speaker 1: still going to happen in your life. We mentioned that.
- 50:34Speaker 1: Sin is still going to happen. But once again, you
- 50:36Speaker 1: have new found desires. You don't want to do that
- 50:40Speaker 1: no more. You don't want to act like that no more.
- 50:44Speaker 1: You don't want to go over there anymore. You don't
- 50:46Speaker 1: want to. It's not natural anymore. Before, it was natural.
- 50:51Speaker 1: It's what you would normally, you were bent in that direction. Now,
- 50:57Speaker 1: it's unnatural. I can't do it. I don't want to
- 50:59Speaker 1: do it. And that's, once again, that's because of Jesus.
- 51:03Speaker 1: That's the work that this great salvation is doing in
- 51:08Speaker 1: your life. Amen. with jesus as the central focus amen
- 51:14Speaker 1: so god is good god is good we're gonna stop
- 51:17Speaker 1: right there we're gonna stop right there we're gonna pick
- 51:20Speaker 1: this up next time we come together we pray that
- 51:23Speaker 1: uh somehow uh that you've been blessed uh by the
- 51:28Speaker 1: word of god tonight amen we know that we've uh
- 51:31Speaker 1: we we've said much here uh but we pray that
- 51:36Speaker 1: you will take these uh that you will take uh
- 51:40Speaker 1: Take these scriptures and take these lessons as we are
- 51:43Speaker 1: presenting them here and in your Bible as you follow
- 51:51Speaker 1: along with us. Amen. God is doing the work. God
- 51:55Speaker 1: is doing the work. And I'm sure, I know, I
- 51:58Speaker 1: know that he wants us to get a handle. He
- 52:01Speaker 1: wants us to get a handle on this great salvation
- 52:05Speaker 1: that we have been given. Amen. It is immense. this
- 52:09Speaker 1: salvation that we have. Amen. So we just bless the
- 52:13Speaker 1: Lord and we honor him. Thank you, Tangie and Bishop Brown.
- 52:16Speaker 1: Tara Marie, good to see you. Amen. Terrence, amen. Pastor Jeff, Dana,
- 52:24Speaker 1: God bless you all. Thank you for stopping by. Once again,
- 52:27Speaker 1: we ask that you share this page out. If you're
- 52:30Speaker 1: watching us on Facebook, share this page out that others
- 52:32Speaker 1: also may be blessed by the word of God. Amen.
- 52:37Speaker 1: God is good. God is on the throne. We honor him.
- 52:40Speaker 1: We bless him. We thank him for what he is
- 52:43Speaker 1: doing in our midst. Amen. Uh, and we will come
- 52:46Speaker 1: back with, uh, we'll, we'll come back and we will continue, uh,
- 52:51Speaker 1: in this series. Now, once again, let me just say
- 52:53Speaker 1: before we close, um, that, uh, maybe nothing, uh, quote
- 52:59Speaker 1: controversial has been spoken here in this sitting, but I
- 53:03Speaker 1: am sure that there are going to be some things
- 53:06Speaker 1: that will, um, maybe I'm sure that there are going
- 53:11Speaker 1: to be some things that will be spoken that may
- 53:14Speaker 1: either rub people the wrong way, or either they won't
- 53:17Speaker 1: have a, either an understanding or agreement. I'll use the word.
- 53:22Speaker 1: They won't agree fully. And, and, and whatever, whatever the
- 53:25Speaker 1: case may be, that's, that's fine. I'm not trying to
- 53:27Speaker 1: make enemies. I'm not trying to, you know, I'm not
- 53:31Speaker 1: trying to, you know, throw any monkey wrenches in anybody's
- 53:35Speaker 1: life or no, no, we're, We are just trying to,
- 53:38Speaker 1: once again, align ourselves with the word of God. That's
- 53:42Speaker 1: all we're trying to do. Amen. That's all we aim
- 53:45Speaker 1: to do. Amen. So we bless the Lord. We honor
- 53:48Speaker 1: him when we thank him. Amen. So everybody, thank you
- 53:51Speaker 1: so much, everybody, for being a part. We'll be back
