0:00
[rock music] Hey, everybody.
0:18
It's Full Spectrum Cycling number 268. 2-6-8. [laughs] A little technical difficulty with the beginning of the show there. I know, well, but, uh, it's coming in through nicely. That's me tuning.
0:31
Yeah, that's- But it's, it's, it's, it is in a funk, funk. Funky. Apologies in advance, everybody. Uh, JK's here in the studio. Hello, hello. Tony, where are you? In- where in the world is Tony?
0:44
Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. I am at Three Sheeps Brewing in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Ah-ha-ha. Oh, right on. I almost picked up a, a sixer of that. Almost. I found out they sell liters. Oh. Oh, that's a good thing.
1:03
So, uh, how was your ride up to Sheboygan? Tell us about that a little bit. Uh, it was a heavy, heavy headwind all the way up. Uh, it was very beautiful weather-wise other than that, just a lot of wind.
1:20
And I gotta give Daniel a lot of credit, 'cause he sat behind me for two and a half hours and only asked when we were getting to the water park 60 or 70 times.
1:30
[laughs] I was gonna say, it was a- The, the, the carrot, you know, the stick, the carrot, the... Right. But he learned all the cities between Milwaukee and Sheboygan.
1:43
He learned about Queensville and Mequon and Cedarburg, and we crossed over the bridge, and then we got to Port Washington, and he- Bernie's, Bernie's, Bernie's... got off the bike and he looked around at the ban-
1:56
We, we, we, we did in fact go past Bernie's, and we got off the bike at the bandshell, and he looked around and he's like, "Well, where's the water park, Daddy?"
2:02
[laughs] I'm like, "Y- you got another half an hour by car now, buddy."
2:07
And then Molly and Cleon showed up right after and swooped him away, and I finished the last half of the ride with a heavy headwind [laughs] all the way to Blue Harbor.
2:18
And I have to say, the mid-drive with a 18 and a half amp hour battery was, the battery was flashing when I arrived, but it made it. [laughs] That's, that's awesome. Yeah, yeah, that's a good cruise. You know,
2:34
6- 60 miles with a 240-pound human, if you include Daniel, and I, he's actually 88 pounds now. It's almost 250 pounds of human.
2:43
And then, uh, the last half, me at, you know, 160, casually riding at 14 and a half miles an hour. It was a good time. Are you riding back? A bi- I am leaving tomorrow morning, yes, sir.
2:58
Uh, is Daniel going with you or is he taking the, the car chariot? N- no. No, Daniel's smarter than that. He's gonna get in the car.
3:05
[laughs] And I do feel, tomorrow's supposed to be a, uh, tomorrow's supposed to be a six mile an hour tailwind, and I figure without wide loaders on the cargo bike and without the extra 88 pounds, I should make it back with,
3:21
yeah, a quarter of a battery without any problem. Right on. Unless you- The weight really makes a huge difference. Unless you, well, you can offset and get back to weight if you stop at Bernie's.
3:33
[laughs] Stop at Bernie's in Port. [laughs] No, no, I did way better. I stopped at Slow Food, which is, uh, uh, Joe Nadolski's... He's the butcher at, at that facility, and I have,
3:50
uh, a lot of very tasty meats that this gentleman makes. It's a very, very interesting company. They know all of their butchers. Um, they do full cattle butchering, um, so you can get any cut of meat you ever wanted.
4:04
Uh, I got some, some really nice Cajun jerky that I'll be bringing to next week's show. It's not too hot. Uh, it's got a nice Worcestershire flavor to it. What's, Worcestershire? Um, I picked up some coffee beans.
4:15
For sure. E- exactly. [laughs] Uh, I picked up some nice, uh, hot, some nice regular old beef sticks and some cheddar jalapeno sticks. Uh, he- They have beef cheeks... made me this, he gave me some of this...
4:30
He made me, yeah, they do, but he made me this hot dog that he discovered in Germany, uh, which sounds really exciting. I'm pretty stoked to, uh, to be able to take it home and, and pan fry it up.
4:42
It's a pretty interesting story that I'll tell you about after I've tried it. Uh, so pretty, pretty neat, uh, I have to say, Sheboygan. Livin' a lot of, you know, riding through a lot of, uh, Republican countryside.
4:54
[laughs] Uh, it's been a pretty enjoyable ride up here, and, and ride, and hopefully tomorrow's ride back will be equally as cool.
5:02
Well, since you're on the horn, why don't we do a quick, uh, top of the hill stop and see what [bell ringing] you got going from Sheboygan up there? Um, I have, oddly enough, you might be shocked to hear this,
5:15
but I have a Fresh Coast from Three Floyds. Oh, I was gonna say chaos. From Three Sheeps? Yep. Uh, I did have... I'm sorry. Three Sheeps, not Three Floyds. Excuse me.
5:26
Um, but I was really excited, JK, just so you know that at the water park yesterday they have a very nice full pint pour of Chaos patterns for eight bucks. [laughs] I'm like, you know,
5:41
given that you have a captive audience here, you could easily be getting a lot more than that. And thank you for pouring me a really nice pint of beer for eight bucks. [laughs] What are you guys drinking?
5:52
Uh, today JK picked up Patasszie Tangerine IPA. Ooh, that's a good beer. It is tasty. I do like that beer. It's, it's better than I thought with the fruity name. Yeah. It's not overly in the sourness.
6:11
No. If you've ever not made the... If you've ever not. If you've never made the trip to Potosi, I highly recommend it. I was right- Really cool brewery...
6:18
I was, like, on the same road that it was on, and I failed to stop. We were on a, we were kind of on a timeline. It is what- I, I feel bad. No? I, I will tell you- [hums]... the beer is okay. The food is exceptional.
6:34
Yeah. And they have, they have a great menu. We've got a little, uh, a little blurb in the show notes about how it, uh, it was founded in 1852, became the fifth-largest brewery in Wisconsin, distributed coast to coast.
6:46
It- Yep... survived prohibition- Coast to coast... but closed in 1972. Like a comatose man. Uh, they reopened in 2008 after the... I know the building got donated to the Potosi Brewery Foundation,
6:57
and they reopened the brewery- Yep... in 2008. So they have the National Brewery Museum there in, in Potosi. They do. They also, all of their profits go to charity. Yes. That's what I n- just noticed. So. Yeah.
7:11
Well, that's awesome. Probably right on the label. Market Street. Yep. Their, uh, their actually, their NA is pretty good too. Right on. All right. Um, I don't even... Let's see what we got going on here.
7:25
What do we got going on here? Sorry, I was drinking beer. [laughs] Our, our, uh, our good friend Steve from over at the Uptown, or Steven, uh, Bostwick was on Fox6 News for the, uh, the Center Street Days happening.
7:39
Oh, shit. I missed that? No, it was... Yeah, it was like, uh- It was, uh-... the morning of on Fox6. And [laughs] I missed it. I was... I mean, I saw him, and I had a bloody Mary from him, but- Yeah.
7:52
They were talking about, "What drinks are you offering today?" It was like the, you know, the special interest piece kinda thing on the- Yeah. Yeah... morning, the morning show.
8:02
I'm, uh- It's like, "Hey, we're talking with Steven Bostwick here." I'm thankful at that- Da, da, da, da, da. And yeah.
8:07
Uh, I'm thankful at that event that after you guys showed up at my house, and then I met up with Molly later, that she decided I needed a nap because that nap saved my bacon for the rest of the day having fun.
8:19
Oh, hell, dude. I ended up riding down to Boone & Crockett for the homecoming, home- homecoming, uh, fireworks and drone show. Uh- Oh, that was- Ooh... that was drones? 'Cause I saw some pictures of it. Yeah.
8:33
'Cause yeah, I was gonna... [laughs] And then Henry, Henry, Henry Buttersauce, he was DJing like a block away, but I couldn't... I was like, "What? I can't..." I mean, it was herding cats, you know?
8:46
I went from like- Yeah. Well... hey, hanging out with other people to being like, "Okay, yeah. Thanks for the invite, Henry, but [laughs] I can't get seven people. I can't even find them during this damn show." So.
9:00
A- and I beat them down there. Right. They went by car. I went by bike, and I beat them to premises. Sorry. I was very happy about that. [laughs] And then I took a slow roll and stopped at Reel Chill on the way home.
9:12
[laughs] I'm like, "Yeah." Nice. "There's my reward like a good boy." It's, it's, it's been a day of, uh, of m- brain farts I guess.
9:22
I, I sent Chris Daisy the phone number to call in, but I, I didn't, uh, I didn't send the right one to him. Hey, man. [laughs] It's like just- Yeah.
9:31
It's- [laughs] We're, we're in the wash of the whatever, the, um, the whatever moon. It was a moon. Oh, a big blue moon. There's a moon in the sky. There was. It's called a moon.
9:40
[laughs] Can't, can't rem- no, it had a funky name. It was beautiful last night- Yeah... from our, uh- It was a blue moon or something... it was a blue moon, but it was like a blue- It was a harvest moon, wasn't it?
9:47
A blue s- The blue-... a blue Aquarius moon or something like that, or a blue something something. Well, it was gorgeous from our, uh, hotel room at the water park. I trust everyone's pictures.
9:59
Yeah, that water park is fun up there. I've been up there a couple times. At Sheboygan. Oh, Greg, they, they've added a, uh, a wave pool. Not a wave pool, a surf thing. Oh-ho. And it's packed... with the locky hecky.
10:13
Daniel had, Daniel had such a great time, and they were so patient with him. Yeah. It, it, they... It is my, gonna be my go-to water park from until he's old enough to not wanna do water parks anymore. Totally worth it.
10:27
It's clean. Way better than- It is clean... Lake Geneva. Yeah, yeah, it is clean, and it's smaller than- It's not seedy... going to the Dells, so I would lose him. Yeah. So yeah. Yeah. It's definitely a...
10:39
You know, for, for a quick getaway for a couple of days, totally worth it. Right on. And, and the thing is, they don't gouge you everywhere else. They're... The whole thing across the board is reasonable.
10:51
[laughs] So I, I like that theme park. A Sheboygan all-inclusive- Yeah... getaway. It's, it, it, and it's a nice setting. Totally jealous. You're right on the lake. It's nice. Yeah. No, I, I- Yep.
11:02
S'mores at night, campfire. Although, uh, Cleo didn't bother to tell us the weather, and we were too dumb to look, and man, a hoodie would've been a nice thing to pack. Aw. But no, that's why you gotta buy local.
11:15
Then you come back with your souvenir. Mm-hmm. Yeah, I'm kicking around a Three Sheeps hoodie for the, for the trip back. Yeah. Like the, uh- Yeah, get a Three Sheeps hoodie... Three Sheeps. Yeah.
11:26
It's supposed to be- There you go... supposed to be chilling, and then it's supposed to be hot, so. Yeah. Next, uh, over the weekend- Yep... back to 80-ish. So everyone, we can dunk, uh, the Dr. Sushi for you.
11:39
[laughs] Oh, that's right. That's Saturday. Yep. And, uh- That is a boy scout's trophy... DJ, DJ Faux Eyes as well is, is gonna be in the tank. Yep. And oh, who's... There's a couple.
11:52
I mean, besides The Exotics, there's one other band I really wanna see. I'm drawing a total mental blank. Um- Buffalo Nichols... help me out, JK. Buffalo Nichols- Um-... is awesome.
12:02
O- oh, yeah, I definitely wanna see Buffalo Nichols. Um, one more. Uh- Jinxie? Jinxie Nukes. Jinxie. Thank you. Yes. Yeah. They're very Go-Go's- Vibe. Well, they're, they're fast, they're fun. Yeah. Pretty cool.
12:19
Yeah. I just get a total Go-Go's vibe, in the, in the best of ways when I say that. [clears throat] Right. Totally. So, yeah. I, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's always a, it's always that damn bass player. Always gets me.
12:33
Boom. [humming] [laughs] You're, you're, you're on the, you're on the bass theme today. Yeah. Well, it was funny.
12:39
When they played at Liliput, she was, like, right at the edge of the damn stage, and, like, the one heel is, like, one half off. I'm like, "Oh, my God. I'm gonna be an audience of this." But never.
12:51
Yeah, I could not imagine- Yeah... stepping off the stage. It's not like it's, it hasn't happened before, but oof. Right. But, I mean, when you're watching it just, like, constantly right, right, right there.
13:01
Oh, my anxiety was flying. So, that's my thoughts on Jinxy. [laughs] No, that's gonna be an awesome freaking day, man. I still didn't- Yeah, it'll be good... get, I don't have my, my backstage or VIP
13:19
access. I haven't pulled the trigger- Oh, you're not VIP... I haven't pulled the trigger on the Guitar Smasher Club yet. You mean Greg and I will drink free beer, and you won't.
13:27
[laughs] Well- You can smuggle it out like a good human would. [laughs] I mean, I'll have my own of course, but... Well- [laughs]... Greg, if you don't have a number two, though, you could bring JK.
13:39
Um, I, yeah, I'm not sure about this year. Right. I, actually, it's ba- it came up so fast. I'm not even like, "Oh, yeah, it's already coming up, uh, in a couple days? Whoa." Yeah. And Friday is
13:50
Strummer Fest at Club Garibaldi, and I gotta go to that. Ooh. I've been... It's only the third year, and I've been there the last two years, and it's a fucking awesome event. And all, I mean- Keep that tradition going.
14:04
I mean, yeah, I gotta keep that part of it, definitely. But, I mean, it's just an awesome... Like, all the proceeds go to the MPS, uh, you know, music programs. [coughs] Yeah. And it's- It'll be-...
14:17
nine bands doing some, like, 15-minute sets of interpretations of Joe Strummer, either in The Clash or with the Mescaleros- Love it... or just solo shit. All good shit. You can- Yeah, yeah.
14:29
Can you stream that somewhere, do you think? [sighs] I don't... they- Yeah, that's about- It's, it... I was trying to get damn set lists, and whatever, from years past, and never been really successful with it.
14:43
Um, I think, well, like, uh, one year Dick Satan Trio did a couple tunes, so he was able, or like Russ was able to say, "Yeah, we did blank, blank, and blank." Um, but- Mm... I don't know. It, it, it really is fun.
14:58
It's really fun. It's really fun to, like, 'cause it's definitely different vibes of music- For sure... doing an interpretation of it. And I'm riding my goddamn bike down there. It's Friday.
15:08
Hey, uh- Ooh, I went goddamn on it. You goddamned that thing. [laughs] It's been a long- I've been-... work day.
15:15
[laughs] I've, I've, I've been messing around with the, uh, the Omnium, and f- and found a camera box that fits, like, almost perfectly into the, uh, cargo box area on said Omnium. Sure. And put some wider bars on today.
15:31
Boy, was that a ordeal. [laughs] I... Yeah. It just [laughs] with all the, the wiring and the hydraulic hoses and all the stuff- Oh, yeah...
15:41
it's like, um, those are, those need to be a little longer, but they don't stretch, so. [laughs] Oh, who knows? Yeah. I don't know. At some point I'll, I might have to r- redo it, but so far so good.
15:53
And, uh, I don't know. I think maybe we'll do a test run of the- Uh... of the camera rig on it one of these days soon. I'm kicking around mechanical hydraulics for the exercycle. I don't hate that idea.
16:10
I've got them on a bike or two, the TRP, uh, whatever they call it. Right. HYRD or something to that effect. I could look it up. But yeah, it's a, it's a cable-operated hydraulic.
16:24
As long as you're not, you know, racing down mountain passes and heating everything up, and, you know- Mm-hmm... if it's more for commuting- Yeah... and whatnot, I think you'd be fine.
16:33
Uh, you just don't, I don't- Yeah... think they can dissipate the heat like, you know, maybe a more advanced brake could, but still. It's all hydraulic. Lots easier to run stuff. They, they make four-piston... Right.
16:46
They make four-piston m- you know, mechanical hydraulic, hydraulic brakes. I'm like, that sounds like a really [laughs] good idea. The best of both worlds. [sings] Fairness of both worlds. Yeah.
16:57
Sounds like a Sammy Hagar album you're talking about there. Van Hager. Van Hagar. It was a Van Hagar. Sammy Hagar. It, it, not Van- Sammy, Sammy Van Hagar. Yep, yep, yep. That guy. Yep, yep, yep, yep. Um.
17:09
[laughs] Hey, maybe when you're, uh, doing the Strummer Fest thing, we could mosey all the way down to the, check out phase two of the Powerline Trail. Oh. It's, it's way south. Dude. Well, um- Yeah.
17:23
Uh, no, no, no, no, no. Yeah.
17:25
It's kinda, it's on the way to my mom's house, which is awesome, 'cause I could, like, spit off a- any part of that, ding, ding, ding, go up to Beloit on one version of it, which probably is the best version for traffic.
17:40
The other one is going to Grange, 'cause- Oh, yeah... it's kind of- It's, it's all the, uh, the feeder- Triangulator... the feeder trails. Yeah. Well, 'cause those, both those streets suck. I mean. Yeah.
17:53
It's like a county highway kinda feel, especially Grange. There's, like, no shoulder, so. [clears throat] Mm-hmm. Yeah, it's dicey. It's hairy. Very. Very. Uh, what else we got going on here?
18:08
I, I put some links on here for Tony. Tony, when you get to the show notes- Tony... sometime, check these out. Check them out. There, there's, like... Okay. So, if, if a bike has four wheels, is it still a bike? Uh, yes.
18:20
Because- Well, does being, does being pedal-powered make it a bicycle? Hey, training, training wheels. Training wheels Oh, yeah. Well, training wheels. Training wheels. Training wheels. Come on, now. Well- Come on.
18:27
All right It's an interesting- Yeah, it makes sense. All right I know... I, I got the 1% question right for the 1% Club on TV last... [laughs] Only 1% of the people got it right. Yeah. And I was one of them. Sweetness.
18:39
Thank you. Clever. I'm looking at the... Maybe the Schionos now. They maybe had the old ones, but- Oh, outside the- Oh, no. It's just that one... you have to reload. Yeah.
18:49
It's, uh, it's, it's, uh, it, it's a ki- I don't know if it's actually being built yet, but it's definitely an interesting concept to take a bunch of stuff in a cargo bike.
18:58
It's obviously European, just you can see from the very first picture that it's not something somebody would come up [laughs] with here- Oh... in the good old US of A. Is this a solar-powered thing?
19:11
No, that's different, but that's another good thing. Oh, I can see- Yeah, there's-... his button's going on... oh, I saw, I saw Tony Burger sign. I saw, I saw his, his n- uh, yeah, I saw it...
19:18
uh, yeah, the, those, those- I saw it... those solar-powered things are interesting, too. One of them's using a Grin motor on, on her bike, the, the lady that's doing this across the country, solar-powered,
19:28
uh, with battery, obviously, uh, bike ride. But yeah, she's got a Grin motor and, uh, uh, the other guy has something European. I'm not sure what it is. European. Like my man bag. My man purse. Right here.
19:46
It's sitting, it's sitting where you would be sitting, Tony. My man bag. Oh. Yes. It'll warm up, I think. Oh. Yeah. Yeah. It's sitting there look- It's not really doing much. It's just sitting there.
19:57
Thought you were talking to him. Huh. I actually- What do you need? What do you need?... yeah, during our [laughs] during our technical difficulties, I, I was using- Sorry about that...
20:04
I was using Tony- Sorry about that. Sorry... Tony's headset because I couldn't hear anything in my dang headphones. Here's the deal. Look here. When it's green and it's bright, can't hear anything.
20:14
And I have to turn it off, then you can hear things. Yeah. But it looks still kind of lit green. Mm-hmm. But it's not. You know? Can you hear yourself? Can you separate the- Can I? Can I? Yes. Yes. Yeah, I know.
20:23
It's kind of weird. I, at any rate, it, it's just- There's varying degrees of green, of brightness... it still confuses me to this day. Red versus green. So with the red... So red, it's r- we are recording, right?
20:32
Red is go. Yeah. Red means- Okay... red is, is record, not go. And you- I'm just making... I'm just- Yeah... I'm, I'm not questioning. [laughs] I'm just- No, I get it... reaffirming. Reaffirming- I get it...
20:43
is what I'm trying to- When, when you don't come from the, uh, the r- the radio business, that red doesn't mean the same thing. Wait, you do come from the radio business. Yeah, but n- not with- Red is like- No...
20:52
don't come in the room. [laughs] Stay out of the room. Yeah. Yeah. There's n- yeah. It's like a, a bunch of sherbet factory right here. Uh, there's a lot of colors on there. Yeah. And they're all very pastely. Yeah.
21:04
And soothing. I, and I get the idea behind it, but for moments of, "I don't know what the fuck's going on" [laughs]- Yeah. There's a little bit of-... they, no...
21:14
little bit of, uh, not anxiety, but just why isn't- Frustration... this working when I want it to work the way I want it to work? Oh, now I have to...
21:23
Yeah, I picked up the, uh, the CD of Taking the City by Storm, De Creutz and the Haskels and The Swivels. Oh, I would, I would, I would watch that. They had- Cool...
21:33
they had an event during Center Street Days over at Falcon Bowl, where Graham used to work. Rest in peace, Graham. Yep. Um, Quarters had- Rest in peace...
21:44
a bunch, had a bunch of bands, and had the little memorial going on. It was, it was good h- homage on all fronts. And then to go to Falcon Bowl for an independent event, and I was like, "Shit, for 20 bucks? Whatever."
21:58
Oh, I like that idea. I'm like, "Yeah." It's a good idea. You're like, "Ugh, it'll be- 'Cause I was at-... it, it'll be available- So-... digitally or streaming soon," and I'm like, "Whatever." What were the bands?
22:07
Excleavers? Uh, Haskels, De Creutz and The Swivels. Oh, The Swivels. I... Throw the Excleavers in there. I want to see them, too. [laughs] 'Cause they were a band that I saw a lot during the- Oh, and rest in peace-...
22:19
during that whole time... Rob, Rob Atwood from The Probers and Dos Proberros and Thy Dirty Deuce. Lots of people been, uh, taking- Yeah... that long walk down the road to heaven, everybody. Mm-hmm.
22:32
Including, uh, Todd Wargala. Yeah. Todd. Your, your musical nemesis. Right. [laughs] Yeah. One, [laughs] one nemesis down. Uh. No. No. He, uh- Not at all. I mean- He was- I never, I never-... a wonderful manager...
22:44
yeah, I never wished death or that discomfort. Grudges are grudges. Yeah. You know, but then they're not death. Well, there was a, there was a classic...
22:52
I, he was a manager of a place that Michael and I used to go to many years ago. And, uh, like, it just, there's music issues about, you know.
23:01
[laughs] Mostly it's about music, I think, not playing or- Yeah, pretty much... playing the wrong kind of music. We don't do that here, blah, blah, blah. So Michael got, uh, I would say asked not to come back in.
23:13
I don't know, how do you want to say [laughs] that? Uh, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Um- Yeah. Banished until I would, uh, apologize- Apologize... uh, on certain deceased terms. [laughs] Yeah. Right. And the terms just sucked.
23:26
It was just- And it was like, "No, no, no. We're not doing this." It was just great. It was like- I'm like, "No. I'll stand my ground on this one." He's like, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry." [laughs] Oh, yeah. "I'm sorry."
23:36
You know, I had to get into the Pee-Wee because it was like- "I'm sorry"... okay, can we just move on and be adults? And then whatever, you can still take my money as a owner of your... No. Yeah.
23:45
And then there was- And it just didn't work that way, so. And then, and then there was the beer drop. Not mic drop, but beer drop right on his foot and out the door. [laughs] Those were good times. Well- Oh, yes.
24:01
Uh- And from my old, uh, employer, the Ian McCain, he had... He just, I guess he just, like, uh, had a COVID hit and it took him. Wow. And that's still- And, uh-... a thing out there, folks. Yeah.
24:18
If you- And it w- I used to have a, I used to have a PSA- Yeah, definitely... on, on the old board. We could play the PSA for COVID. And it was just like, dun, dun, dun, dun. You know, and I, you know, I mean-
24:28
Anything with that [laughs] station, I've kept at complete, like, five arm's lengths. But, um- Mm-hmm... yeah, that's where he worked and, um, yeah, he touched a lot of people, and they had a lot of good things to say.
24:42
I was tempted to go to the memorial at, [laughs] well, tempted to go to the memorial, but it was at The Rave. I think he would appreciate that. Oh. [laughs] I'm just gonna say, get a little choked up now.
25:00
So, I'm gonna mention this 'cause it's in the show notes. Uh, I, technical difficulties may have prevented Chris Daisy from getting through to us or- [laughs]...
25:09
something else, but, uh, Chris Daisy used to own Zion Cyclery. We had him on the show several times- Mm-hmm... back in the olden times. Um, and he's been in several bands. He has a new album.
25:18
A new Did you, did you give the album a listen, Tony? Uh, I did. It, it, it, there, I... It was in- I like it. There's some w- it's weird stuff in there, and fun, and I, I wanna talk to him about it. Yeah.
25:32
So, we'll, we'll hook up with him again in the not too distant future. I just, uh, gotta actually... Instead of, instead of- Mm...
25:39
trying to set this stuff up by, uh, text, it's probably a better idea to s- talk on the old telly ringer, hey? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what these hand- Well-... computers do too. [burps] Excuse me.
25:51
I, I called someone for the first time today in forever. I had to use that to make sure my phone worked. [laughs] Yeah.
26:00
It's not, I mean, we have call-in guests pretty regularly, that your phone is not the highest quality whatever. I- if you're using... Are you using Wi-Fi or are you doing it over the air?
26:12
Uh, I am actually on Wi-Fi at Three Sheeps, outside. Are you, are- Trying to soak up some sun- I, I just don't know what was wrong with copper wiring. It's, no, no. Copper wiring worked fine.
26:23
[laughs] I'm just saying, okay, the Google Pixel, ev- any one of them, are great for taking pictures. And guess what? Not for phone calling. Yeah. For phone calling- They're the worst phones... they don't suck.
26:35
They just suck. [laughs] So- So, that's out. Take that- They, they suck... take that Johnny Google. Stop, stop selling him his phones then, yeah. Elon, wait, no. What's that other guy's name? I don't know. Jeff Google.
26:47
Jeff, Don Google. Donny Google. Um, all right. Googleplex. Well, Tony, thanks for calling in. Without you, uh, we would've been twiddling thumbs or, I don't know. You know.
26:59
But, uh- Talking about the power line, power line... got some pictures. Take some pictures on the way home. You know, to take some pictures of the lake. Uh- At Bernie's Well-... you know, ride on it. Ride-...
27:07
you know, I'm gonna tell you, the- Sir James Bond... I'm gonna tell you right now, the trip from, from Port Washington to Sheboygan is boring as dirt. Yeah, that's true.
27:19
It, it, it's Port home that's actually really nice. Yeah, yeah. For sure. When, you know, you, you get some, you get some shade. You get, you're not riding through fields and on country roads.
27:31
I was really, like, after I dropped Daniel off, I'm like, "Boy, the rest of this ride [laughs] kind of blows." Ha. Um, until you get to, you know, yeah. But- Did you-... yeah, I will try to snap a couple of shots...
27:45
did you get anywhere near the l- the lake- Yeah... where you could see beach or not beach? Uh, I mean, you come down right by the power plant.
27:57
You mean, y- you, you get it through Sheboygan and then a little bit in Port, but not a whole lot of beach view, no. Yeah. Gotta go do some recon.
28:05
It's also been windy out of the, the east, northeast, so it's kind of pushing water up. But, uh- Yeah, it's been, it's, uh...
28:13
So Cleone played a joke on us last night by, uh, setting a, uh, a beach scene sleep, you know, whatever, ambient noise. And I woke up in, like, 2:00 in the morning. I'm like, "What's this weird sound?"
28:32
And then I realized it was her phone doing that, and I wanted to pull out a full-on Simpsons where Homer's, like, standing next to Marge and just wanted to do a, "Mm." [laughs] But Molly said I couldn't do it.
28:46
All right, brother. Uh- Well, that would have been a perfect way to wake, wake Cleone up. So you're back next week, right? I should be back for next week's show.
28:55
Off the following week because Molly's working, and then, yeah, we'll go from there. All right. Well, enjoy the- And then we'll work it out from there... no, we'll work it out.
29:02
Well, enjoy the ride back, uh- We'll work it out... on your fancy e-bike Molly's gotta work it out. Yeah, we will... try to see it my way. Electric bicycle. Only time will tell if you're right or I am wrong.
29:12
Uh, but, you know, I'm gonna tell you, I'm gonna, I'm gonna end it, I'm gonna end it with this. I'm gonna end it with this, and I'm really pissed my bike got stolen, but good God, is this so much better of a bike.
29:21
[laughs] Ta-da. Hey, just out of cur- what time are you leaving? That's the thing is- What time are you leaving Sheboygan tomorrow? I don't have a plan. I don't really know. I'm thinking, like, 11:00.
29:33
I got all day to get home. I'm off the rest of the week. Oh. Well, I don't know. I'm not saying it would work, but give me a shout. Maybe I'll, uh, ride up the trail and meet you and escort you [laughs] back into town.
29:47
[laughs] That'd be a blast. I'll let you know how I'm doing. Yeah. Right on. All right. Okay, Tony Berger. Cool. Have a good one. Goodbye to you. Goodbye- Goodbye to you. Uh, oh, oh, ooh. Goodbye to you. Ooh, ooh, ooh.
30:01
However that song goes. Yeah. Scandal. Patty Smyth. Yeah. The other Patty Smyth, the one that's married to B- John McEnroe. Not Patty Smythe. Yes. Doesn't one of them spell it with a Y? Yes. Okay. This is the one.
30:13
This is the one. This is the one. Not the one with the horses and the [clicks tongue] pit- Nope, not the horses. The warrior. I am the warrior, with the face paint and all the- Yeah...
30:24
John McEnroe married- I like The Warriors. That's a great movie. Yeah. Mm-hmm. [laughs] Mm-hmm. All right, everybody. Baseball Furies. It all goes back to the Baseball Furies in that picture. You got that right.
30:32
I swear to God. Well, thank, thanks, Tony Berger, for calling in from Sheboygan. We'll get Chris Daisy on, I'm sure, in the future at some point. Just gotta figure out where the [sings]
30:41
lack of communication, lack of na-na. Some song I'm singing over here. Uh, yeah. [laughs] Communication breakdown. [laughs] Right. Why you there? That's what I'm talking about. Devil's in the details!
30:59
You want to know how I...
31:01
