- 0:15Speaker 2: You work for Chris Christie, you've been in politics, a
- 0:17Speaker 2: lot of public service stuff. Rich Valdez, columnist now with
- 0:19Speaker 2: the Washington Times.
- 0:20Speaker 1: This is America.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Rich TV, you're on the air with the nation. This
- 0:24Speaker 2: is America with your host, Rich Valdez. What's up, America?
- 0:29Speaker 2: I am Rich Valdez. Valdez with an S at Rich
- 0:31Speaker 2: Valdez on all of the social media. Sitting in for
- 0:33Speaker 2: the great one, Mark Levin, tonight. Mark will be with
- 0:37Speaker 2: you on Monday. And by the way, check out the
- 0:39Speaker 2: new Life, Liberty & Levin that's coming out tomorrow. Prime
- 0:43Speaker 2: Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sitting down one-on-one with Mark Levin. You
- 0:47Speaker 2: don't want to miss that. And on Sunday, Newt Gingrich.
- 0:52Speaker 2: You don't want to miss that back-to-back Life, Liberty &
- 0:54Speaker 2: Levin this weekend on the Fox News Channel. And of course,
- 0:57Speaker 2: the phone number if you want to join the program.
- 0:58Speaker 2: You know what to do.
- 0:59Speaker 3: 877-381-3811. 877-381-3811.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Earlier, I got so excited about talking about what America
- 1:10Speaker 2: you want that I didn't talk about me. Some of
- 1:17Speaker 2: you guys know me, Rich Valdez, with an S, at
- 1:19Speaker 2: Rich Valdez on all the social media. If you want
- 1:22Speaker 2: to follow me, feel free. I am the host of
- 1:25Speaker 2: This Is America. Rich Valdez, This Is America. And let
- 1:29Speaker 2: me tell you, what a joy it is to be
- 1:31Speaker 2: here with Mr. Producer, with Bill Barnett, These guys have
- 1:35Speaker 2: been my producers for a long time. And a big
- 1:39Speaker 2: shout-out to all of my radio familia. Of course, I'm
- 1:42Speaker 2: getting a text message from one of my radio familia,
- 1:44Speaker 2: Chris Libertini. He says, Que Mala Eres. That's right, my
- 1:47Speaker 2: nickname for Kamala Harris. Shout-out to Chris Libertini, one of
- 1:50Speaker 2: the best voices in radio. And I don't want to
- 1:53Speaker 2: belabor too many thank yous and hellos. I just want
- 1:55Speaker 2: to say it's always great to be back here serving
- 1:57Speaker 2: as Mr. Call Screener here for many years. Love coming
- 2:00Speaker 2: back to visit. But that's the question that I'm posing.
- 2:03Speaker 2: What America do you want? Because let me tell you,
- 2:06Speaker 2: there is absolutely a lot on the line. I mean,
- 2:11Speaker 2: this is a big deal. I don't know if I
- 2:14Speaker 2: can stress this enough. Think of 2024. And I remember
- 2:19Speaker 2: being on this show, 2024. Mark had called me, Richie,
- 2:23Speaker 2: I need you to take over. I said, no problem, sir.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Yes, sir.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I'm coming in. And I go right ahead and I
- 2:28Speaker 2: come on this show and I gave a monologue. And
- 2:31Speaker 2: that monologue that night, it was right before the election.
- 2:35Speaker 2: And I wasn't scared, but I was very concerned, deeply
- 2:40Speaker 2: concerned for the America that my daughters grow up in.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I got a 21-year-old and a 25-year-old. And guess what?
- 2:50Speaker 2: This country's not the same. It's not the same country
- 2:53Speaker 2: it was when they were in high school, let alone
- 2:55Speaker 2: the same country it was when I was in high school.
- 2:58Speaker 2: And there's a choice before us right now. A lot
- 3:01Speaker 2: of people complaining, well, I don't like gas prices. I
- 3:03Speaker 2: don't like this. I don't like that. And I say,
- 3:05Speaker 2: I don't like commies. I don't like socialism. I don't
- 3:11Speaker 2: like all the crazy that comes with that. Whatever complaining
- 3:14Speaker 2: you're doing right now, think about the administration of President
- 3:19Speaker 2: Kamala Harris and what that would look like and what
- 3:23Speaker 2: that would be like. Is that the America you want?
- 3:28Speaker 2: Just take a second and visualize it, you know? I
- 3:30Speaker 2: believe in visualizing things. You got to see things. You know,
- 3:34Speaker 2: close your eyes. If you're on the road, you're a trucker.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Don't close your eyes. But think about this in your
- 3:40Speaker 2: mind's eye. It's Inauguration Day, right? All the new members
- 3:47Speaker 2: of Congress are coming in. Are we talking about hanging
- 3:51Speaker 2: our heads in shame because it's a blue wave and
- 3:53Speaker 2: we got spanked? And now we just got to sit
- 3:56Speaker 2: back and watch them go for it with the impeachment
- 3:59Speaker 2: of Donald Trump? Part three and four, five, six and seven,
- 4:04Speaker 2: because they won't stop. He's the first one to say it, right?
- 4:07Speaker 2: He said it months ago. Said, boy, if we don't win,
- 4:11Speaker 2: they're going to impeach me. They're going to make something up.
- 4:14Speaker 2: They're going to make it up. They're going to impeach me.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Of course they are. Why wouldn't they? Right now, the
- 4:22Speaker 2: Democrat Party stands for two things. One, hating Trump. The other,
- 4:26Speaker 2: moving to the left. That's it. You've got the likes
- 4:30Speaker 2: of Adam Schiff and the likes of AOC all out crazy.
- 4:33Speaker 2: My least favorite congresswoman from the Bronx and Queens. Those
- 4:36Speaker 2: are the two options that you have. Tax and spend.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Tax and spend. Then you have the Republicans. Oh, they
- 4:45Speaker 2: want data centers. Oh, they want tax cuts for the rich. Listen,
- 4:50Speaker 2: I'll take tax cuts for the rich. First of all,
- 4:52Speaker 2: they're not for the rich. They're for everybody. But I'll
- 4:54Speaker 2: take the tax cuts for the rich and the data
- 4:57Speaker 2: centers all day. over leah thomas over boys being girls
- 5:03Speaker 2: girls being boys everything is good except for jesus he's
- 5:08Speaker 2: bad right i mean that's sadly to put it simplistically
- 5:13Speaker 2: that's where we've arrived at it it bewilders me right
- 5:18Speaker 2: i'm always like wow i can't believe we're here i'm
- 5:22Speaker 2: not that old i'm 48 i was born in brooklyn
- 5:26Speaker 2: new york in a hospital back then called brooklyn jewish
- 5:29Speaker 2: hospital Guess what? That was okay back then. Shortly thereafter,
- 5:34Speaker 2: it got a new name. What's the new name? Interfaith
- 5:38Speaker 2: Medical Center. I don't know if they've changed the name
- 5:39Speaker 2: since then. They might have. But this leftward process that
- 5:44Speaker 2: we've been going through has been affecting our society for
- 5:47Speaker 2: a long time. And now here we are. We've got
- 5:51Speaker 2: Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who's as crooked as can be, who's
- 5:58Speaker 2: out here telling us that she doesn't like america she's
- 6:00Speaker 2: ashamed of america got former congressman jasmine crockett she's all
- 6:07Speaker 2: over youtube talking about this is a fishing expedition are
- 6:12Speaker 2: these the people that you want representing you people of
- 6:15Speaker 2: texas are you listening i know we're on in texas
- 6:22Speaker 2: is tallow recall the representation of america that you want
- 6:25Speaker 2: is that the person you want representing you in the
- 6:27Speaker 2: united states senate that talks in texas people i hear
- 6:30Speaker 2: things like i don't know you know paxton always wife
- 6:34Speaker 2: i don't know and i don't see is me do
- 6:37Speaker 2: you know tell a recall i mean what where's your
- 6:39Speaker 2: head wake up people enough of this i'm staying home
- 6:44Speaker 2: enough of this everybody's gotta get up and do their
- 6:46Speaker 2: part alone earlier this year i've been on a lot
- 6:50Speaker 2: of trips this year One of my trips was to Dallas, Texas.
- 6:56Speaker 2: The great Matt Schlapp. Matt and Mercedes Schlapp from CPAC.
- 7:00Speaker 2: They hosted CPAC in Texas. I graciously got an invitation
- 7:06Speaker 2: to speak there. I did. And I enjoyed myself in Dallas.
- 7:12Speaker 2: It was a nice place. Good steak. Wonderful. Do I
- 7:16Speaker 2: have to worry about that now? The next time I
- 7:18Speaker 2: go to Dallas, I got to worry about Tallarico?
- 7:20Speaker 3: No.
- 7:21Speaker 2: And all the crazy stuff going on there. Do we
- 7:24Speaker 2: have to worry about Motor City?
- 7:26Speaker 4: Right?
- 7:27Speaker 2: Michigan becoming the next... No, you fill in the blank.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Do we want Abdulrahman El-Sayed? And I'm not saying that
- 7:36Speaker 2: for any emphasis other than he said, take your name
- 7:39Speaker 2: out my mouth. Or take my name out your mouth.
- 7:42Speaker 2: That's what he said, right? He said, if you can't
- 7:44Speaker 2: say Abdulrahman, Abdulrahman, then don't say it. So I'm saying
- 7:47Speaker 2: it the way he said it. We've come to a very,
- 7:51Speaker 2: very interesting place where it's almost comical. Seems almost fake.
- 7:56Speaker 2: You scroll through the social media and you see people
- 7:58Speaker 2: saying things. I mean, they will stick to their guns
- 8:01Speaker 2: on any argument.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Any.
- 8:03Speaker 2: There's one black influencer out there and he's like, hey,
- 8:06Speaker 2: do black lives matter? And they're like, you bet. Hell yeah.
- 8:10Speaker 2: And he's like, do they matter when we're aborting them?
- 8:14Speaker 2: And they're like, oh, hold on, hold on a second. No,
- 8:16Speaker 2: you can't do that. All sorts of people. He gets
- 8:18Speaker 2: everybody from every race and they're like, oh, no, no, no,
- 8:20Speaker 2: hold on. That's it. It's just a blob. And they
- 8:23Speaker 2: go into their backpedaling. The left is devoid of logic.
- 8:29Speaker 2: It thrives on emotion. We know this. And we're seeing
- 8:33Speaker 2: it play out in real time. Every day a little
- 8:36Speaker 2: bit more. It's sad. It's sad to see how it's
- 8:40Speaker 2: playing out every single day. But here we are. Now what?
- 8:47Speaker 2: What do we do? We vote. We vote like our
- 8:50Speaker 2: lives depend on it. We vote like America depends on it.
- 8:55Speaker 2: This is not a game. That energy that we felt
- 8:58Speaker 2: in 2024 when Trump was out there talking about lawfare,
- 9:03Speaker 2: when Trump was out there on the campaign trail like
- 9:05Speaker 2: he is now, and then some psycho tried to take
- 9:08Speaker 2: him out, grazed his ear. We can't play this game anymore.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Too many things have happened. You know, I don't like
- 9:21Speaker 2: to live in the past, but I was with Mr.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Producer one time at a party, a gala at Mar-a-Lago.
- 9:30Speaker 2: And it was being hosted by Charlie Kirk. And we
- 9:32Speaker 2: spent some time with Charlie Kirk and talking to him and,
- 9:36Speaker 2: you know, getting to know him a little bit. And
- 9:38Speaker 2: to think that he's not around today because of some
- 9:44Speaker 2: crazy lefty. I know there's a lot of people who
- 9:47Speaker 2: think they want to blame everybody from Netanyahu to the
- 9:49Speaker 2: wife to everybody else. I got it. And I reject it.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I trust Kash Patel on this one. These crazy lefties
- 9:59Speaker 2: have been killing people left and right they do it
- 10:03Speaker 2: all the time I'll roll the dice on almost any
- 10:07Speaker 2: situation when you show me these crazy people almost always
- 10:11Speaker 2: they're crazy lefties because the radical left is always happy
- 10:15Speaker 2: to kill their opposition They don't see you as people.
- 10:21Speaker 2: That's why they embrace abortion the way they do. That's
- 10:23Speaker 2: why they dehumanize the way they do. Orange man bad.
- 10:29Speaker 2: He's not a person. He's an obstacle. And he correctly
- 10:35Speaker 2: said it. They're coming after me because they're really going
- 10:42Speaker 2: after you. That's you and me. That's my children. My
- 10:47Speaker 2: future grandchildren. Your future grandchildren. I don't want to be
- 10:51Speaker 2: all panties in a bunch over here on the radio,
- 10:54Speaker 2: but come on. We've got to school a few people, right?
- 10:58Speaker 2: We've got to put a few spankings on people. We've
- 11:00Speaker 2: got to wake people up and say, hey, look, it's
- 11:01Speaker 2: time to get out to these polls. It's time to
- 11:04Speaker 2: make things happen. Listen, this isn't 2020 anymore, right? We're
- 11:08Speaker 2: not afraid of the Chinese flu. We're in a new place.
- 11:16Speaker 2: It's a different time. And right now, We have more information,
- 11:23Speaker 2: more ability to fight back than we've ever had.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Right?
- 11:27Speaker 2: Am I right or am I right? We've never had
- 11:30Speaker 2: so much power on X, Instagram, Truth Social, Facebook. Those
- 11:38Speaker 2: guys were all the enemy ones. Now, they're whining and
- 11:43Speaker 2: dining in the White House, trying to check out the
- 11:46Speaker 2: new ballroom that El Trompito is building. We've got to
- 11:50Speaker 2: use all that to our advantage. Nobody memes better. Nobody
- 11:53Speaker 2: trolls better than the right.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Right?
- 11:56Speaker 2: That's just a fact. So again, I'm going to keep
- 12:00Speaker 2: harping on this. Which America do you want? The one
- 12:04Speaker 2: where Bernie Sanders holds up something other than the Holy
- 12:08Speaker 2: Bible to swear in whomever he feels like in Congress?
- 12:14Speaker 2: Where Kamala Harris feels like, you know what, I know
- 12:16Speaker 2: I said I wouldn't run, but hey, maybe I will.
- 12:19Speaker 2: where everybody seems to think that they're the best option
- 12:23Speaker 2: for America. Because why? Oh, because I had to pay
- 12:26Speaker 2: $ 4 and something cents for gas. Oh, because I don't
- 12:29Speaker 2: like America. Oh, because I don't like the Jews. And
- 12:33Speaker 2: I'm tired of being their puppet, right? Because that's the
- 12:35Speaker 2: latest propaganda, right? They have done a number on our movement.
- 12:40Speaker 2: And it's time that we show them, you didn't really
- 12:42Speaker 2: do the number you thought you did. I, for one,
- 12:45Speaker 2: can tell you, I see through all this stuff. Most
- 12:50Speaker 2: of it's fake phony and fraud. And we got to
- 12:53Speaker 2: call it out for exactly what it is. Can't sit
- 12:56Speaker 2: here and keep playing this game. So we're going to
- 12:58Speaker 2: talk about the midterms, your thoughts on that, your calls
- 13:02Speaker 2: on that. We're going to get into a bunch of things,
- 13:03Speaker 2: a little update on Iran. Part of me, I don't
- 13:07Speaker 2: know how much of a part of me, but part
- 13:09Speaker 2: of me says October surprises, Trump announcing the regime is gone.
- 13:15Speaker 2: We were going to try and do it after the
- 13:16Speaker 2: election because we didn't want to influence anybody's politics or
- 13:19Speaker 2: their votes. We had to take action. They died like dogs, right?
- 13:24Speaker 2: I would love that. I'd love hearing a message like that. Sir,
- 13:27Speaker 2: if you're listening, let's go on Iran a little quicker, please,
- 13:32Speaker 2: with all due respect. And Katie Zachariah deciding to move on, apparently.
- 13:39Speaker 2: We're going to get into that in a little bit.
- 13:41Speaker 2: And what do you think? What do you think about me?
- 13:44Speaker 2: I mean, listen, I think I could tussle with the press.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 13:47Speaker 2: You guys let me know what you think. 877-381-3811 is
- 13:50Speaker 2: the phone number. We're going to continue our conversation when
- 13:54Speaker 2: we return. Mark Levin will be with you guys on Monday.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I'll be with you tonight and for the rest of
- 13:58Speaker 2: the show. And I'm coming right back. Don't go anywhere.
- 14:02Speaker 1: This is America. This is America. He's brown, he's bald,
- 15:19Speaker 1: and he's.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Breaking it down.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Oh, he's so handsome.
- 15:22Speaker 2: What's his name? Rich Valdez. All right, familia, welcome back.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Rich Valdez, Valdez with an S, at Rich Valdez on
- 15:29Speaker 2: all of the social media, welcoming you back. Pay attention
- 15:33Speaker 2: to what I'm about to tell you, because, and you
- 15:35Speaker 2: know this, I'm just repeating the obvious, MAGA, Trump, patriotism,
- 15:42Speaker 2: is a threat to domestic corruption and the deep state
- 15:47Speaker 2: bend the holes this is why they hate us maga
- 15:52Speaker 2: is a threat the body politic is has been awakened
- 15:56Speaker 2: by the truth and now they're scared right because mag
- 16:01Speaker 2: is a threat to gender norms it's a threat to
- 16:04Speaker 2: income taxes it's a threat to continued deep state corruption
- 16:10Speaker 2: they don't want to deal with that so of course
- 16:14Speaker 2: they do what they do right they laugh in the
- 16:17Speaker 2: face of the authorities you'll handle marcia's she doesn't care
- 16:21Speaker 2: i want to know you guys think about this eight
- 16:24Speaker 2: seven seven three eight one thirty eleven eight seven seven
- 16:26Speaker 2: three eight one three eight one one let's go to
- 16:29Speaker 2: callous spell montana checking with lance lance what's going on.
- 16:34Speaker 5: Yes good evening rich thanks for taking my call yes
- 16:37Speaker 5: sir just wanted to say that i agree with you
- 16:40Speaker 5: that i'd doubt Ilhan Omar will see any prison time
- 16:45Speaker 5: or any consequential, I guess, reaction to her actions. Just
- 16:52Speaker 5: for a simple fact, she's got a lot of friends
- 16:54Speaker 5: in powerful places, and they're going to do everything to
- 16:57Speaker 5: protect her from that. You know, she'll probably wind up
- 17:01Speaker 5: on a talk show somewhere. Secondly, I think you would
- 17:05Speaker 5: make an exceptional press secretary. I do miss hearing... I
- 17:12Speaker 5: do miss hearing your voice on the other radio show
- 17:14Speaker 5: that new guy had.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Let's be gracious and kind. You can always listen to me, right?
- 17:21Speaker 2: Rich Valdez, this is America. You can listen. We have
- 17:23Speaker 2: a new show every day at 9 o'clock. So I
- 17:26Speaker 2: appreciate your kind words, Lance, for sure. And make sure
- 17:29Speaker 2: you check me out at richvaldez.com. But to agree with you,
- 17:33Speaker 2: I think, you know, I do agree. You're agreeing with
- 17:35Speaker 2: my sentiment. But I'll say this. Ilhan Omar, I hope.
- 17:39Speaker 2: I hope, I hope, I hope. that we're able to
- 17:42Speaker 2: have some accountability, because I think the American people are
- 17:46Speaker 2: desperate for accountability. And in some cases, some cases, excuse me,
- 17:50Speaker 2: we have created a missed sized version of accountability, where
- 17:56Speaker 2: we think we're on heaven, you know, we're in heaven,
- 17:59Speaker 2: heaven on earth. And sadly, we know that there is
- 18:02Speaker 2: still corruption in this life. And as far as the
- 18:05Speaker 2: press secretary role, I appreciate it. I think some might
- 18:07Speaker 2: think I'm a little bit too much of a nice guy,
- 18:08Speaker 2: a little bit too much of a pushover for that.
- 18:10Speaker 2: But I can get gangsta if I have to. Anyway, Lance,
- 18:14Speaker 2: nice to hear your voice. Thanks for your call, my brother.
- 18:16Speaker 2: I appreciate you. And familia, we continue with our conversation
- 18:20Speaker 2: straight ahead. 877-381-3811 if you want to weigh in. More
- 18:24Speaker 2: to come straight ahead is Rich Valdez hosting the Mark
- 18:27Speaker 2: Levin Show. Mark is coming back on Monday. Don't go anywhere.
- 18:43Speaker 1: This is America.
- 18:53Speaker 2: President Donald J.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Trump, Mr.
- 18:54Speaker 2: President, welcome to the program, sir.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Well, thank you, Rich, and thank you for everything.
- 18:59Speaker 2: I know you very well, and I listen, but I
- 19:02Speaker 2: have a lot of people that listen.
- 19:03Speaker 5: And they love your show, and I appreciate it very much.
- 19:06Speaker 2: All right, America, welcome back. Rich Valdez keeping you company tonight,
- 19:09Speaker 2: Friday night, sitting in for the great one Mark Levin,
- 19:12Speaker 2: 877-381-3811 is our phone number. And many of you know
- 19:17Speaker 2: I had a longtime rivalry with my least favorite congresswoman
- 19:21Speaker 2: from the Bronx and Queens, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, AOC, all out
- 19:25Speaker 2: crazy herself. And Congresswoman AOC, all out crazy, she was
- 19:29Speaker 2: at a rally today with El-Sayed, Abdul Rahman El-Sayed. And
- 19:36Speaker 2: she says the GOP doesn't want women to go to college.
- 19:40Speaker 2: I think she might be right about that. I think
- 19:42Speaker 2: they don't want anybody to go to college. Charlie Kirk,
- 19:44Speaker 2: God rest his soul, he wrote a great book called
- 19:45Speaker 2: The College Scam. And he and I did an interview
- 19:49Speaker 2: about that. and they made a lot of good points
- 19:51Speaker 2: in i used to work in higher ed but it's
- 19:53Speaker 2: not the same higher ed at once was listen to
- 19:55Speaker 2: a m c today with al-sayed check.
- 19:57Speaker 3: This out what they're making harder what they're not going
- 20:03Speaker 3: to give people student loans for and it's nurses.
- 20:09Speaker 2: It's social workers.
- 20:11Speaker 3: They don't want women to go to college, y'all. And
- 20:16Speaker 3: they're defunding the ability for people to become nurses, teachers,
- 20:21Speaker 3: social workers. We have to understand what the deal is here.
- 20:26Speaker 2: We do have to understand the deal here because we
- 20:28Speaker 2: have a nursing shortage. So I think we need to
- 20:31Speaker 2: make sure we're still doing this. Now, I think what
- 20:35Speaker 2: she's talking about is that there are loan caps. because
- 20:39Speaker 2: graduate nursing programs are classified as non-professional degrees. So she's
- 20:43Speaker 2: really misrepresenting it, right? Because in reality, there's reality and
- 20:47Speaker 2: then there's preference. You can get, in many states, you
- 20:51Speaker 2: can get a registered nurse degree at the associate level, right? 60,
- 20:55Speaker 2: 70 credits, something like that, and get a job. Now,
- 20:59Speaker 2: many hospitals might turn to you and say, oh, you know,
- 21:01Speaker 2: we prefer that you have the BSN, the Bachelor of
- 21:04Speaker 2: Science in Nursing. Okay, but that's, Even that, and I'm
- 21:09Speaker 2: sure you can get a loan for that, they're talking
- 21:12Speaker 2: about beyond graduate programs and that they're not professional programs. Meaning,
- 21:20Speaker 2: you can't be a lawyer without a JD, a Juris
- 21:22Speaker 2: Doctor degree, but you can be a nurse at the
- 21:25Speaker 2: baccalaureate level. You don't have to be a nurse at
- 21:30Speaker 2: the Master of Science level or where you become a
- 21:35Speaker 2: higher level nurse, advanced practice nurse. And they're terrific, right?
- 21:38Speaker 2: In many places, they replace doctors in many ways in
- 21:43Speaker 2: initial patient care. So the point I'm making is AOC
- 21:46Speaker 2: is misrepresenting this, right? She's saying that we're limiting this.
- 21:51Speaker 2: And we're not limiting that. They're not saying that women
- 21:54Speaker 2: can't do that. We're saying that you don't need that, right?
- 21:57Speaker 2: And who made these needs in many ways, right? Why
- 22:01Speaker 2: did so many teachers go for a master's degree? And
- 22:04Speaker 2: you might argue and say, well, they have more education. No,
- 22:07Speaker 2: it's really because most of them get more money if
- 22:11Speaker 2: they have a master's and their union pays for it.
- 22:15Speaker 2: So a lot of this is at the behest and
- 22:18Speaker 2: the whim of a labor union. So this is why
- 22:23Speaker 2: AOC is mad because her donors, the labor union base,
- 22:28Speaker 2: they don't like this. They don't like it one bit.
- 22:31Speaker 2: So she goes on to say, that we can't be
- 22:34Speaker 2: replaced with algorithms. Otherwise, you wouldn't have to throw out
- 22:39Speaker 2: vegetables every week. What? Listen to this.
- 22:42Speaker 3: I want to thank you as well for your service,
- 22:45Speaker 3: but to also know that we cannot be replaced with
- 22:48Speaker 3: these algorithms. If we could, we wouldn't be having to
- 22:51Speaker 3: toss out our vegetables every single week. And so thank
- 22:55Speaker 3: you for your service. And I'm sorry for what has
- 22:57Speaker 3: happened to you. I'm sorry to so many of our
- 23:00Speaker 3: federal workers that have done good, valuable, strong work and
- 23:05Speaker 3: have been treated in such undignified ways.
- 23:10Speaker 2: How undignified? We're not going to give you money anymore.
- 23:13Speaker 2: You know, look, some people get student loans. Other people
- 23:18Speaker 2: don't get student loans. I understand. I'd be upset, too,
- 23:22Speaker 2: if I wanted to get a master's in teaching or
- 23:25Speaker 2: a master's in nursing. I'd be mad right now because
- 23:27Speaker 2: I'd say, wow, you mean now there's going to be
- 23:29Speaker 2: a cap on it? I can only get up to $ 20, 000
- 23:31Speaker 2: as opposed to what I used to? That's the reality
- 23:34Speaker 2: of it. You're going to have to find somewhere else
- 23:35Speaker 2: to borrow this money. Get a scholarship. Pay more towards it.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Find a cheaper school. That's life. I get it. But
- 23:42Speaker 2: she's trying to weaponize this, as all politicians do, right?
- 23:46Speaker 2: To say, look, this is an issue that matters to
- 23:48Speaker 2: you and framing it like it's the Republican war on women.
- 23:52Speaker 2: And quite frankly, this is really the Republican war on
- 23:56Speaker 2: the deep state and on spending. But she loves to
- 23:59Speaker 2: misrepresent it. Now, what it has to do with throwing
- 24:03Speaker 2: out vegetables every week has escaped me. Perhaps it didn't
- 24:06Speaker 2: escape you. Maybe you guys are on the same wavelength,
- 24:08Speaker 2: but I am not. I don't possess the intellectual depth
- 24:12Speaker 2: to capture what she's putting down over here. But I
- 24:16Speaker 2: understood enough to say, look, She's making a play, and
- 24:21Speaker 2: it's a valuable play. This is where I'll give her credit.
- 24:25Speaker 2: When you're talking to people who are teachers and nurses
- 24:30Speaker 2: and others that are typically represented by labor unions, those
- 24:34Speaker 2: are the people you want to say. We can't be
- 24:37Speaker 2: replaced by algorithms because you can't. Right? Public schools are
- 24:41Speaker 2: going to be defended tooth and nail. Listen, I'm the
- 24:43Speaker 2: first one to say I believe in education wholeheartedly. I've
- 24:46Speaker 2: worked for a number of... Educational institutions actually have the
- 24:52Speaker 2: good pleasure of being one of the founders of a
- 24:54Speaker 2: charter school in New Jersey. And I can tell you this.
- 24:58Speaker 2: By the way, big shout out to the beloved community
- 25:00Speaker 2: charter school in Jersey City and all of the amazing
- 25:04Speaker 2: work happening there. But AOC here is just politicizing this.
- 25:12Speaker 2: And again, she's a politician, so she's entitled to do that.
- 25:16Speaker 2: The bigger issue here is People are being lied to
- 25:20Speaker 2: left and right. These people don't leave here and go,
- 25:22Speaker 2: I wonder if there's another side to this argument. I
- 25:26Speaker 2: wonder if people truly hate us. They don't. They just
- 25:30Speaker 2: automatically assume it's true. Quick ADHD moment for you. The
- 25:36Speaker 2: other day I made a comment on some Instagram post.
- 25:40Speaker 2: It was about Puerto Rico, about status, something, you know,
- 25:43Speaker 2: political status of Puerto Rico. And and they were basically,
- 25:49Speaker 2: you know, just to give you some background, AOC and
- 25:51Speaker 2: Mitch McConnell and many Republicans have a similar view. Puerto
- 25:56Speaker 2: Rico should never be a state. That's the view of AOC.
- 26:00Speaker 2: That's the view of many Republicans today. It wasn't always
- 26:04Speaker 2: the view, right? There was a time when it was
- 26:06Speaker 2: part of the Republican Party's platform for Puerto Rico to
- 26:09Speaker 2: become a state. We've got away from that. I haven't, but,
- 26:13Speaker 2: you know, the party largely has. Marco Rubio is actually
- 26:17Speaker 2: a huge proponent of Puerto Rican statehood, because when you
- 26:21Speaker 2: look at the numbers, and this is not a big
- 26:24Speaker 2: tangent I'm going to go on here, but when you
- 26:26Speaker 2: look at the numbers, a good majority of the statewide
- 26:30Speaker 2: elected officials in Puerto Rico have been Republicans, including the
- 26:34Speaker 2: Trump Republicans sitting in office now. But yet, a lot
- 26:37Speaker 2: of people buy this line, hook, line, and sinker, automatic
- 26:41Speaker 2: two new senators for Puerto Rico. I don't know why
- 26:44Speaker 2: we would think that. Before this woman was governor, she
- 26:48Speaker 2: was the one congressperson they have, a Trump Republican, Jennifer
- 26:52Speaker 2: Gonzalez Colon. So, again, I don't have a real reason
- 26:56Speaker 2: based in reality to think that Puerto Ricans are somehow
- 26:59Speaker 2: radically left-wing crazy people that want all of these things.
- 27:05Speaker 2: I would say if you've ever been there, spent any
- 27:06Speaker 2: time there, understand the culture, it's quite the opposite. Now,
- 27:12Speaker 2: are there some AOCs amongst us, some Bernie Sanders? For sure.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Are they the majority? Are they the majority here? Are
- 27:19Speaker 2: most people like AOC? Are most people like Bernie Sanders?
- 27:22Speaker 1: No.
- 27:22Speaker 2: So why would they be in Puerto Rico? They're not.
- 27:25Speaker 2: And that's the point I'm making. So when AOC is
- 27:27Speaker 2: selling this story here, falsely labeling Republicans as people that
- 27:31Speaker 2: are against women and don't want them to be educated,
- 27:35Speaker 2: their naivete is their own downfall because they believe everything
- 27:40Speaker 2: they're being told. You can't believe everything you're being told.
- 27:43Speaker 2: You have to test things. You have to say, hey,
- 27:44Speaker 2: what's going on? What is the reality here? Why is
- 27:48Speaker 2: it that there is a limit now on student loans
- 27:51Speaker 2: for nurses? Well, it's only on the graduate level. It's
- 27:55Speaker 2: not on the baccalaureate level. That makes sense. I understand.
- 28:00Speaker 2: And that's my point. We've got to stop with these
- 28:02Speaker 2: knee-jerk reactions to things where, you know, blanket statements. We
- 28:07Speaker 2: don't stop to consider anything. We don't stop to say,
- 28:10Speaker 2: hold on a second. You mean to tell me that
- 28:14Speaker 2: We've been getting our butts handed to us by Iran
- 28:20Speaker 2: for the better part of half a century. On and off.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Whether it was the TWA Airlines flight that they hijacked
- 28:27Speaker 2: or the bombing of the troops in Beirut. Today I
- 28:30Speaker 2: saw a video of some guy screaming at the top
- 28:32Speaker 2: of his lungs talking about Iran hasn't killed any American civilians.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Why does that matter to me? They killed American soldiers.
- 28:46Speaker 2: That matters to me. Am I automatically going to dismiss
- 28:51Speaker 2: the fact that they did that? Now, I get the
- 28:53Speaker 2: point he was trying to make. He was trying to
- 28:55Speaker 2: make the point that soldiers die in every war. We
- 28:58Speaker 2: can't sit here and freak out because some bad guys
- 29:01Speaker 2: got some good guys. But I would say, yes, we can.
- 29:06Speaker 2: And guess what? Thank God they gave the hostages back. What,
- 29:08Speaker 2: you're going to give them a pass on that? No.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Come on, I'm not giving anybody a pass. And this
- 29:14Speaker 2: is not a disagreement per se. This is just a
- 29:16Speaker 2: difference of opinion, right? It's an observation that I see
- 29:21Speaker 2: from a different perspective. I don't think one view is
- 29:25Speaker 2: right versus wrong per se. I think this is we're
- 29:28Speaker 2: just looking at things from a perspective where we're looking
- 29:32Speaker 2: to have an isolationist point of view. And I understand that.
- 29:36Speaker 2: That's popular. It's very popular in certain circles. But I
- 29:40Speaker 2: don't have that view. I never have had that view.
- 29:44Speaker 2: I think that the United States has a duty that's
- 29:48Speaker 2: incumbent upon it or upon us to do some of
- 29:53Speaker 2: the heavy lifting that others aren't willing to do because
- 29:55Speaker 2: we are the big guy on the block. And that's
- 29:57Speaker 2: part of the responsibility of being the big guy on
- 29:59Speaker 2: the block. When you have a family, a mom, dad, daughter, son,
- 30:05Speaker 2: when push comes to shove, who's the one making the sacrifices, right?
- 30:10Speaker 2: It's mom and dad. Typically dad if it's a financial
- 30:13Speaker 2: one or a working one where you've got to go
- 30:15Speaker 2: out there and get a second job to make ends meet.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Traditionally speaking, that is dad that does that. If it's
- 30:21Speaker 2: mom making a sacrifice, maybe to stay home, to work
- 30:24Speaker 2: inside the home, to be with the kids. God forbid
- 30:27Speaker 2: one of the kids has a special need that requires
- 30:30Speaker 2: more attention. Sometimes you see dad do it and mom
- 30:33Speaker 2: is off to work. But in most cases, it's the
- 30:36Speaker 2: other way around. Well, the same way here. The United
- 30:40Speaker 2: States is the big guy on the block. The old
- 30:42Speaker 2: lady is getting robbed. And there's a big giant man
- 30:45Speaker 2: the size of Shaq. What are you going to do?
- 30:47Speaker 2: Sit there and go, I'm sorry, we don't get involved
- 30:49Speaker 2: in foreign wars. We don't do that. We're going to
- 30:53Speaker 2: focus on, you know, come on. Let's get real here. Right?
- 30:58Speaker 2: You don't get the biggest, baddest army in the world
- 31:02Speaker 2: for nothing. Why are we the biggest, baddest army in
- 31:05Speaker 2: the world?
- 31:06Speaker 1: Why?
- 31:06Speaker 2: Because we're tried. Because we're tested. I was talking to
- 31:09Speaker 2: a general not too long ago. And he said, I
- 31:13Speaker 2: don't care what kind of aircraft carriers China puts out.
- 31:18Speaker 2: I don't care about any of that. Because those people
- 31:20Speaker 2: don't have any experience in live combat. And that includes
- 31:26Speaker 2: flying drones. It was a valid point. So valid that
- 31:31Speaker 2: people are actually paying. Mercenaries from the cartels are currently
- 31:35Speaker 2: paying to go get fighting experience in Ukraine. Imagine that.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Imagine that. Wild stuff. So anyway, I want to take
- 31:47Speaker 2: a quick pause right here. But when we come back,
- 31:49Speaker 2: I want to continue on this theme of crazy lefties.
- 31:53Speaker 2: And there's one from New York. And this one, her
- 31:56Speaker 2: name is Daria Lisa Avila Chevalier. And she did an
- 32:00Speaker 2: interview politically yesterday. And she says Democrats can learn from us,
- 32:06Speaker 2: the DSA, the radical leftist socialists, how to create a
- 32:11Speaker 2: bold vision instead of taking excuses. So that's coming up
- 32:14Speaker 2: straight ahead. It's Rich Valdez in for the great one.
- 32:17Speaker 1: This is America. This is America. Para Inglés, o Primal
- 32:40Speaker 1: Número Dos.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Para Rich Valdez.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Y esto es America. Ahora.
- 32:46Speaker 2: All right, America, welcome back. Rich Valdez keeping you company tonight.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Friday night, live and national. Sitting in for the great one,
- 32:54Speaker 2: Mark Levin. You know the phone number, 877-381-3811.
- 32:55Speaker 1: 877-381-3811.
- 32:55Speaker 2: And I am happy to be here with you guys
- 33:04Speaker 2: this evening talking about my beloved new york city i
- 33:07Speaker 2: was born and raised in brooklyn new york came to
- 33:09Speaker 2: jersey as a teenager and love it jersey still in
- 33:12Speaker 2: jersey work in new york and it always is uh...
- 33:17Speaker 2: takes a toll on my heart if you will to
- 33:20Speaker 2: see that bernie sanders has so many disciples and so
- 33:23Speaker 2: many of them are in new york the latest from
- 33:26Speaker 2: the democrat socialists of america the d s a is
- 33:31Speaker 2: the candidate that replaced their beat uh... in as the
- 33:36Speaker 2: piano is spiked yet in uh... inward washington heights and
- 33:41Speaker 2: that is that the at least uh... avila chevalier she
- 33:44Speaker 2: did an interview yesterday with political and she says it's
- 33:47Speaker 2: the democrats that can learn from us and what is
- 33:50Speaker 2: it that we can learn uh... with the democrats that
- 33:52Speaker 2: we really but the democrats uh... she's saying that the
- 33:56Speaker 2: d s a teaches how to cast of bold vision
- 34:00Speaker 2: instead of taking excuses like democrats It's because they have
- 34:04Speaker 2: a very militant view, a very communistic view of what
- 34:11Speaker 2: they're here to do. They're here to change the world,
- 34:14Speaker 2: change the government, right? Abolish ICE, abolish jails, abolish the police.
- 34:20Speaker 2: These are the things they want to do. Abolish prisons.
- 34:24Speaker 2: What else do they want to get rid of? They
- 34:25Speaker 2: want to get rid of the United States Senate. They
- 34:28Speaker 2: want to pack the Supreme Court. These are all things
- 34:32Speaker 2: they support, because in their minds, this is a good idea.
- 34:35Speaker 2: These are the reforms that America needs. And I just think,
- 34:40Speaker 2: how does an old man, you know, as he's known
- 34:44Speaker 2: by Curtis Lee and others, the Alta.
- 34:47Speaker 4: Caca, Bernard Sanders, Senator Sanders, how is it that this
- 34:52Speaker 4: grandpa with the funny mittens, he breaks through to the
- 34:56Speaker 4: minds of so many young Latinas?
- 34:59Speaker 2: How does that happen? I'll explain to you how it happens.
- 35:02Speaker 2: It happens in a place called college. The same place
- 35:05Speaker 2: AOC was saying, they don't want you to go. Well,
- 35:07Speaker 2: the reason they want you to go is because you
- 35:09Speaker 2: turn into those people there. You take an otherwise very conservative...
- 35:12Speaker 2: This girl is from the Dominican Republic, right? Her family.
- 35:16Speaker 2: I'm not sure how many countries have the Holy Bible
- 35:21Speaker 2: on their flag. But I know that the Dominican Republic
- 35:24Speaker 2: is one of them. And as far as I understand,
- 35:27Speaker 2: they might be the only one. But they have an
- 35:29Speaker 2: open Bible in the middle of their flag. This is
- 35:33Speaker 2: what they believe. They believe in Christianity. They believe in God.
- 35:41Speaker 2: So how does a young Dominican girl, I'll tell you how,
- 35:44Speaker 2: how does she end up getting brainwashed by Bernie Sanders?
- 35:48Speaker 2: Very simple. She goes to a place called college, and
- 35:52Speaker 2: she spends a little bit more time there than everybody else.
- 35:55Speaker 2: How long? She's Dr. Daria Lisa Avila Chevalier. She has
- 36:00Speaker 2: a Ph.D. say no more, say less, right? I don't
- 36:06Speaker 2: need to hear any more. I know exactly how this
- 36:08Speaker 2: brainwashing happens. By the time you're done with a, you know,
- 36:13Speaker 2: a master's level, doctoral level, professional degree, you have been
- 36:17Speaker 2: convinced by what L. Rushbow, God rest his soul, would
- 36:21Speaker 2: call the feminazis. The feminazis that run academia, they have
- 36:27Speaker 2: taught you that violence comes at the hand of a
- 36:32Speaker 2: man A white man. All things that are bad in
- 36:37Speaker 2: life stem from men. Right? Then you have the commies
- 36:43Speaker 2: come in and tell you that it's about workers of
- 36:45Speaker 2: the world uniting. Evita Peron had it right. Man, I
- 36:50Speaker 2: did so much leading, they're cutting me off. The music
- 36:52Speaker 2: means I gotta go. You gotta stick with me for
- 36:53Speaker 2: the power hour so I can tell you what Daria
- 36:56Speaker 2: Lisa Chevalier had to say.
- 36:57Speaker 4: Plus.
- 36:58Speaker 2: Tallarico, Speaker Mike Johnson, so much more in the most
- 37:01Speaker 2: coveted hour of this show, hour number three. Don't miss it.
- 37:05Speaker 2: I'm Rich Valdez coming right back.
- 39:24Speaker 1: This is America. Thank you.
