- 0:39Speaker 6: He had practice.
- 0:40Speaker 7: We had to go to Hobby Lobby to get supplies
- 0:41Speaker 7: for his project that he's working on. But I had
- 0:44Speaker 7: to literally drag him out of the dentist office yesterday
- 0:47Speaker 7: because I don't remember the dentist being this coal when
- 0:50Speaker 7: we were kids. No, no, Mario Kart in the backside
- 0:55Speaker 7: of the dentist office, like right in front of the chairs.
- 0:58Speaker 6: So like he would come sit down, you know.
- 1:00Speaker 7: We talked to the dentists and then he was like
- 1:02Speaker 7: really wanting to go back and play Mario Kart, and
- 1:04Speaker 7: the dentist was like no, go for it.
- 1:05Speaker 6: I'll call you back when I'm ready.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07Speaker 7: So he went between the dentist chair, Mario Kart, back
- 1:10Speaker 7: and forth. I just thought we didn't have this.
- 1:13Speaker 1: No, not only did we not have that, we didn't
- 1:15Speaker 1: even have like novacane.
- 1:18Speaker 8: We didn't have like laughing gas.
- 1:20Speaker 1: We did it.
- 1:20Speaker 8: I remember them just yankee teeth out of my head
- 1:23Speaker 8: with nothing.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Yeah, they were so mean. My dentis was so mean.
- 1:26Speaker 1: He scarred me for life. Oh, doctor Roth, you were
- 1:30Speaker 1: so rude. Oh he was so mean. I'd be like
- 1:33Speaker 1: that hurts. He'd be like, well, get over it. Yeah,
- 1:36Speaker 1: Mario Kart.
- 1:38Speaker 7: Yeah, this dentist office is next level. The dentist is incredible,
- 1:42Speaker 7: and I like it. After he was done, he went
- 1:45Speaker 7: back to playing, and the assistant was like, I mean,
- 1:48Speaker 7: just you can leave him there.
- 1:49Speaker 6: She was like, go up and check out and just
- 1:51Speaker 6: come back and get it when you want.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I was like, oh, wow, yeah, I go. I was
- 1:54Speaker 1: drive by a dentist office by my house. It's got
- 1:56Speaker 1: a slide inside, it's gonnah, it's got a whole plane
- 1:58Speaker 1: land wow, Donald's Okay, yeah, kids are there better? Yeah.
- 2:03Speaker 1: We used to drive by when my son was real
- 2:04Speaker 1: little and he'd be like, Dad, I want to stop
- 2:05Speaker 1: at the plane land. I'm like, that's a Dennis. He's like, really,
- 2:09Speaker 1: why don't I go there. I'm like, I don't know,
- 2:11Speaker 1: but it's pretty awesome looking. It is, well.
- 2:13Speaker 8: Good for the kids, yeah, I mean good for the
- 2:15Speaker 8: kids nowadays.
- 2:16Speaker 1: We had it. I know, we sound so old. My
- 2:18Speaker 1: back in my day, we.
- 2:19Speaker 7: Didn't have a TV screen on the ceiling either, like
- 2:22Speaker 7: they do to watch TV while they're you know, getting
- 2:24Speaker 7: their mouth worked on screen.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Time in your mouth and shut up. Literally, that was it.
- 2:30Speaker 1: That's all we got. Well, I'm glad everything went well. Yeah,
- 2:33Speaker 1: producer Poo is here. What's up, Poop? I got got yesterday?
- 2:36Speaker 5: So I found a lottery scratch off here when I
- 2:40Speaker 5: was at work.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I mean, you found it.
- 2:41Speaker 5: I felt it was it was for me, but it
- 2:43Speaker 5: was in my desk or whatever. So I scratched it.
- 2:46Speaker 5: Have a desk, yeah, yeah, my little table back there.
- 2:48Speaker 5: I got a little tablets. So I scratched it all
- 2:51Speaker 5: won five bucks. So I go to a little gas
- 2:53Speaker 5: station over here off Spring Valley and I was like, here,
- 2:56Speaker 5: I need my five bucks.
- 2:57Speaker 1: He goes, oh, man, you should get these.
- 2:59Speaker 5: Everybody's been winning with these So there were dollars scratch off.
- 3:03Speaker 5: So I was like, okay, yeah, give me five of them. Yeah,
- 3:06Speaker 5: of course, got all five of them.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Scratched them off.
- 3:09Speaker 5: Got twenty dollars. Wow, yeah on one of them. So
- 3:12Speaker 5: I'm like hi, and I was like, okay, just give
- 3:13Speaker 5: me my twenty dollars. He goes, oh, man, you're gonna
- 3:15Speaker 5: do it like that, you might as well just get
- 3:18Speaker 5: this one. Everybody wins on this one. So I spent
- 3:20Speaker 5: the twenty on this big one.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Didn't win. Man was so bad that I thought him.
- 3:28Speaker 4: I was like, do you work with a lottery or what?
- 3:31Speaker 9: He go?
- 3:32Speaker 1: Everybody else has been winning. I don't know about you,
- 3:34Speaker 1: but now do you scratch all of them off? Or
- 3:36Speaker 1: do you just scratch the bar code and see if
- 3:38Speaker 1: you want? No?
- 3:39Speaker 4: I scratch every so do.
- 3:41Speaker 7: I stretch of the game, right?
- 3:43Speaker 1: No excitement to this guy in front of me?
- 3:45Speaker 8: A quick trip today?
- 3:47Speaker 1: This guy spent one hundred and fifty dollars what and
- 3:50Speaker 1: scratch offs? Right?
- 3:52Speaker 8: So I was like oh wow, And I was.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Looking and then he sat next like just the next
- 3:56Speaker 1: to the register and just scratched off the bar. Didn't
- 3:59Speaker 1: play the game, just scratched off the bar to see
- 4:01Speaker 1: if you win. Problem. Yeah, and then he just scan
- 4:03Speaker 1: it real quick and then throw it away, scan it
- 4:05Speaker 1: boom boom boom, one after another.
- 4:07Speaker 6: No, I enjoy the suspense. Are the numbers going to match?
- 4:09Speaker 6: Did I get a seven?
- 4:11Speaker 4: Say my winning numbers?
- 4:13Speaker 1: Yeah? But I do get nervous that my add kicks
- 4:15Speaker 1: in and I won't figure out if I want or not.
- 4:18Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying, Oh, yeah, totally.
- 4:20Speaker 5: You know what worries me is if I'll win. And
- 4:23Speaker 5: then the guy behind the counter and goes, oh no,
- 4:25Speaker 5: it's not a winner, you know.
- 4:26Speaker 7: Yes, and then he takes it.
- 4:31Speaker 1: That's why you got to check it yourself exacty. We
- 4:33Speaker 1: got a lot going on on the show today. I forgot.
- 4:35Speaker 1: You know what. We're not happy. We're mad at Pooh.
- 4:38Speaker 6: Yeah, well not yet. We will be at six fifty.
- 4:40Speaker 1: All right, wait, we can turn it on.
- 4:42Speaker 7: Well, we are mad, we're kind of.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Mad at me. Yes, why we might have to have
- 4:48Speaker 1: an impromptu Candice court.
- 4:50Speaker 8: You know what family meeting?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, that's what we'll call it. We'll call it
- 4:54Speaker 1: a family meeting at six fifty because Pooh won an
- 4:56Speaker 1: award at work here okay, and they him this big
- 5:00Speaker 1: trophy yesterday. Oh, huge trophy. Congratulations poof for going above
- 5:05Speaker 1: and beyond. And I was like wow, and we're clapping
- 5:07Speaker 1: and we're getting all excited for him. Then we find
- 5:10Speaker 1: out why he won it. Let's go over that at
- 5:13Speaker 1: six fifty exactly his.
- 5:17Speaker 10: Tough stories on the tents with Billy the Kid in the.
- 5:19Speaker 9: Morning only on the new Mixed one or.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Two point nine the Mesquite Mamacita, here she is, Candice
- 5:26Speaker 1: Lopez with everything you need to know cannics. What's going on?
- 5:28Speaker 6: Yeah, well, we'll starting off warm this morning.
- 5:30Speaker 7: It's already seventy one outside, muggy and cloudy. Rain and
- 5:34Speaker 7: storms are headed our way later this afternoon, though the
- 5:37Speaker 7: severe weather risk is low, but hail, damaging winds, and
- 5:40Speaker 7: isolated tornadoes are possible. Then rain chances go down tomorrow
- 5:45Speaker 7: and backup Friday and Saturday. But we pretty much have
- 5:47Speaker 7: rain in the forecast for the next week.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Oh, I know. I saw that. I was like, it's
- 5:50Speaker 1: gonna rain until June. Yeah, it looks like it's gonna
- 5:52Speaker 1: rain non stop. I mean sure, but it's one of
- 5:54Speaker 1: those things where is it really gonna happen or is
- 5:57Speaker 1: it just gonna be cloudy and kind of chance of.
- 5:59Speaker 6: Right being dramatic, right, yes.
- 6:01Speaker 7: We are, yeah possibly, I mean you never know.
- 6:04Speaker 1: It's springtime daylight savings too.
- 6:06Speaker 7: It is this weekend. Good okay, Yeah, absolutely. You were
- 6:08Speaker 7: talking about your allergies or whatever. Yeah, tree pollen they're
- 6:11Speaker 7: saying is like super high. So if you have any
- 6:13Speaker 7: allergies going on, that's why.
- 6:15Speaker 6: Yeah, tree pollen.
- 6:16Speaker 1: My eyes are all swollen and I feel like I
- 6:19Speaker 1: can't stop, like something's in my throat, tickle in my throat.
- 6:22Speaker 7: Yeah, I kind of have that throat thing too, like
- 6:23Speaker 7: you just need to clear your throat here and there.
- 6:26Speaker 7: But yeah, just say it's up today, guys. Dictionary dot
- 6:29Speaker 7: Com has added over fifteen hundred new entries into its
- 6:33Speaker 7: twenty twenty six Winter word Drop. So a lot of
- 6:36Speaker 7: these words are like science and tech words, some are
- 6:39Speaker 7: from other languages, but one that did make the list
- 6:42Speaker 7: this year is swifty, as finally earned its spot into
- 6:46Speaker 7: the Dictionary, the Online Dictionary. Other new entries are Glamazon,
- 6:51Speaker 7: which I've never Heardlamazon, So it's a woman who is
- 6:55Speaker 7: beautiful and glamorous as well as being tall, strong.
- 6:58Speaker 6: Or powerful.
- 6:58Speaker 1: It's a Glamazon woman Amazon.
- 7:00Speaker 6: Yeah, Yeah, what a weird word.
- 7:03Speaker 1: That is a strange word. I mean, the Internet and
- 7:06Speaker 1: the dictionary is out of control lately.
- 7:08Speaker 7: Yeah, no, I love it. Smashburger is also one of
- 7:10Speaker 7: the new entries which I think everyone knows what a
- 7:12Speaker 7: smashburger is. Right.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I heard someone at a restaurant the other day explaining
- 7:17Speaker 1: to another person what a smash burger was. Oh, I'm like,
- 7:19Speaker 1: isn't it in the name? Right? Yeah? You smash the burger.
- 7:24Speaker 7: Literally, you just put the burger on like the griddle
- 7:27Speaker 7: or whatever you're cooking it on, and press it really thin. Yeah, okay, okay, guys,
- 7:31Speaker 7: remember last week we were talking about Benny Blanco's dirty feet.
- 7:36Speaker 7: So he launched a podcast, thank you, called Friends Keep Secrets,
- 7:40Speaker 7: and there was a video from like the first episode
- 7:43Speaker 7: where he's laying on the couch and you can see
- 7:44Speaker 7: the bottom of his feet just look dirty, like completely dirty.
- 7:49Speaker 7: Fans were jumping in saying, Selena Gomez, divorce him. That
- 7:53Speaker 7: is not happening, because yesterday we saw a new clip
- 7:56Speaker 7: and it shows Selena Gomez kissing his feet. Guys, you know,
- 8:05Speaker 7: as nasty as last week, but they were not exactly clean.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Geez, I saw this and as soon as I saw it,
- 8:12Speaker 1: I sent it to canvas, right, and she just leans
- 8:15Speaker 1: over there and she's just smooching.
- 8:19Speaker 6: I mean she kisses them.
- 8:21Speaker 7: And then like nuzzles into his foot with her face,
- 8:24Speaker 7: and I just I couldn't watch.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I just could not believe it was happening. I'm looking
- 8:29Speaker 1: at this like this is real life. Yeah, she is
- 8:32Speaker 1: nuzzled up to this man's foot, right, And I mean,
- 8:35Speaker 1: I listen, I've been in love before.
- 8:37Speaker 8: I don't know if I've been in.
- 8:37Speaker 1: That level of Yeah. I mean, did you kiss Eric's foot.
- 8:41Speaker 7: If it was dirty like that, you know, but otherwise
- 8:44Speaker 7: the top, Yeah.
- 8:45Speaker 6: Would Yeah, I'd kiss it on the top.
- 8:47Speaker 8: See that's true love.
- 8:48Speaker 7: But even then, like his feet were just like I've
- 8:51Speaker 7: never seen nastier feet. Oh you know it looked like
- 8:54Speaker 7: he'd been walking around the Vegas Strip.
- 8:56Speaker 8: Yes, yes, like a dollar general airfoot.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Would you kiss my foot? No?
- 9:04Speaker 8: For how much money?
- 9:06Speaker 11: Is there a price? Is there a price? Come on down?
- 9:15Speaker 11: At least three zeros behind that three?
- 9:17Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 9:18Speaker 1: No? You first of all, you do it for a
- 9:20Speaker 1: hundred bucks. No, I'm not going you would not your feet,
- 9:23Speaker 1: You would nibble my pinky saw?
- 9:25Speaker 6: Could we start to go fund me for this.
- 9:26Speaker 7: Everyone is shipping just so those of us don't want
- 9:29Speaker 7: to see this happen.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Take it.
- 9:31Speaker 5: What about Cannas's foot, Oh, Cannas probably got clean feet.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I kissed and clean. Yeah. Probably She's not gonna
- 9:38Speaker 1: let you, Eric, No, I definitely.
- 9:41Speaker 7: Wouldn't let you.
- 9:43Speaker 6: I need to get the money anyways. I'm cana slow.
- 9:48Speaker 7: Pezels are your Texas top stories?
- 9:50Speaker 1: All right, let's do it right now. Reel are fake news.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I give you three headlines. You gotta tell me which
- 9:54Speaker 1: one is fake? Canda, you're ready?
- 9:56Speaker 6: Ready?
- 9:56Speaker 1: Who You're ready? I'm ready. Research shows that those people
- 10:00Speaker 1: who use emoji's more are sixty five percent more likely
- 10:04Speaker 1: to get into a traffic accident. What yes, Research shows
- 10:09Speaker 1: that those people who use emojis more are sixty five
- 10:12Speaker 1: percent more likely to get into a traffic accident.
- 10:15Speaker 8: Okay, Headline number two.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Man busted for dui during his driving test. Oh, man
- 10:23Speaker 1: busted for dui during his driving test. Headline number two.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Headline number three, new trend at Bars, Bone Broth Cocktails. Okay,
- 10:35Speaker 1: new trend at Bars, Bone Broth Cocktails. You have three headlines.
- 10:40Speaker 1: You give to me, which one you think is the
- 10:42Speaker 1: fake headline. Would you can't juste like to go first?
- 10:45Speaker 1: Or would you like to pass it to.
- 10:46Speaker 8: The poop poop?
- 10:47Speaker 7: I'll go first today?
- 10:49Speaker 6: Yeah? Uh, lock me in for that first story.
- 10:51Speaker 7: The emoji's equaling accidents?
- 10:53Speaker 1: Yeah, why don't you think that's real?
- 10:55Speaker 6: I just don't see the correlation there.
- 10:57Speaker 8: I do what. People who used too many emojis are reckless.
- 11:01Speaker 7: They are unless they're using doing the emojis while they're driving.
- 11:04Speaker 7: I don't see how that makes sense.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I think in general it's just people who use a
- 11:08Speaker 1: lot of emojis just don't care about life.
- 11:11Speaker 7: No, we're expressive and colorful.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but it's kind of lazy.
- 11:16Speaker 7: No, it's not lazy. We're trying to give you a
- 11:18Speaker 7: visual of what we're saying to help you with the communication.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Have you ever written somebody a very serious text and
- 11:24Speaker 1: they hit you back with an emoji? H?
- 11:26Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 11:27Speaker 1: Can we use words? Because that makes me feel like
- 11:29Speaker 1: I just wasted all that time to get a smiley
- 11:32Speaker 1: face and a thumbs up.
- 11:34Speaker 4: But the emoji conveys what I'm trying.
- 11:36Speaker 6: To text exactly.
- 11:37Speaker 7: It's clear, very clear communication with the emoji.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Well, then just don't next time you text me you're
- 11:42Speaker 1: getting nothing but emode. I'm down for that, all right,
- 11:46Speaker 1: locked in? Yeah, there you go, producer, But which one
- 11:48Speaker 1: do you think is the fake story?
- 11:50Speaker 5: Lock me in for that last story, bone Bro. Mocktails,
- 11:53Speaker 5: that's nasty.
- 11:54Speaker 8: Mocktails are cocktails?
- 11:56Speaker 1: Cocktails? Okay, mocktails would be a thing too different.
- 11:59Speaker 8: Yeaheah, big difference. All right, you want that? Locked in?
- 12:02Speaker 1: Yes, locked in? And the winner today is Candie La Pass.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Congratulations Cannas. Okay, how did you know you're so good
- 12:11Speaker 1: at this game?
- 12:12Speaker 7: Yeah, emoji's accidents.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I was trying to think of something to make up
- 12:17Speaker 1: and I was stretching on that one. Okay, But the
- 12:19Speaker 1: real stories. This man was busted for a DUI during
- 12:22Speaker 1: his driving test at Florida. No police in the UK
- 12:29Speaker 1: oh okay, stopped this vehicle because I guess it was
- 12:33Speaker 1: driving a ratock or something like that. Something was going on.
- 12:35Speaker 1: They noticed it also had a defective brake lights, so
- 12:37Speaker 1: they're like, well, let me see what's going on.
- 12:39Speaker 8: Because this guy's all over the place.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Okay. They pulled the driver over, spoke to the driver.
- 12:44Speaker 1: There was somebody in the car as well, who was
- 12:46Speaker 1: the driving instructor. The police smelled marijuana, so they conducted
- 12:51Speaker 1: a drug test and the guy failed. They found drugs
- 12:55Speaker 1: on him. He was caught red handed, and the twenty
- 12:58Speaker 1: six year old man who wasn't fully license was in
- 13:00Speaker 1: fact taking his driving test at the time.
- 13:03Speaker 6: Oh my gosh.
- 13:05Speaker 1: So literally he was taking his driving test, pulled over
- 13:08Speaker 1: and arrested.
- 13:09Speaker 4: Wow.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Yeah, the driving test was terminated obviously, and the officer
- 13:14Speaker 1: said the young man's mother at the test center was
- 13:16Speaker 1: shocked to see a police officer.
- 13:18Speaker 8: So mom is waiting. No, ye, you're twenty six years old.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Your mom's waiting for you to finish your driving test,
- 13:26Speaker 1: and the police bring you back. Like, hey, he's going
- 13:28Speaker 1: to jail right Why he was driving under the influence man? What?
- 13:34Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Okay, next story, New trended bars. Bone
- 13:39Speaker 1: broth cocktails. Bone broth cocktails are the hot new trended bars.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Food and Wine just did this big story on it.
- 13:47Speaker 1: See it's part of the protein trend.
- 13:49Speaker 6: Okay.
- 13:50Speaker 7: Yeah, I had a feeling because you can get like
- 13:52Speaker 7: nine ten grams of protein out of a cup of
- 13:53Speaker 7: bone broth.
- 13:55Speaker 8: Here we go, in fact, fun.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Fun, I don't know about the fun. I'm not having fun.
- 14:02Speaker 8: Up with the protein stuff going on right now.
- 14:05Speaker 7: I know it's a new trend.
- 14:06Speaker 6: We'll see what's next.
- 14:06Speaker 1: You know, since bone broth are typically used as a
- 14:09Speaker 1: base obviously for soups, it's just made by boiling beef,
- 14:12Speaker 1: chicken or other types of bones and water for a
- 14:14Speaker 1: few hours. Most people just buy to the store. But
- 14:16Speaker 1: it is a thing right now, as weird as it sounds.
- 14:18Speaker 1: It's taken off in bars and people are making drinks
- 14:21Speaker 1: with it. Of One of them is called a bloody
- 14:23Speaker 1: bull Oh. It's basically just a bloody marry with a
- 14:26Speaker 1: little bone broth mixed in. Ah. Okay, yeah, so that's
- 14:30Speaker 1: catching on, and there's people who've been serving these in
- 14:33Speaker 1: bars that are older or like older bars since the
- 14:36Speaker 1: nineteen fifties. They said, really, so this was.
- 14:39Speaker 8: A thing even back in the day.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Pooh, was that a thing in the fifties. Yeah, see
- 14:46Speaker 1: bone bourbon scene. Actually, give me two, give me one
- 14:53Speaker 1: for the young lady. There's another one, another cocktail that's
- 15:01Speaker 1: me with bone broth called we gotta be careful when
- 15:04Speaker 1: you say this.
- 15:05Speaker 8: It's called bull shot.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's basically just bone broth in vodka.
- 15:10Speaker 6: Oh wow, sounds delicious.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Jimmy two of those. Yeah, see a bone Bok cocktail.
- 15:19Speaker 1: This wasn't one of the stories, but this was a
- 15:21Speaker 1: funny story that I just had to mention because it's crazy.
- 15:25Speaker 1: One of the craziest headlines I've seen it in a while,
- 15:28Speaker 1: because it just takes a weird turn. I see this
- 15:30Speaker 1: headline today and it says breakfast when that unwanted side
- 15:34Speaker 1: of sausage?
- 15:35Speaker 6: What?
- 15:35Speaker 1: So of course I start reading it. You ready for
- 15:38Speaker 1: the first line, Yeah, breakfast with an unwanted side of sausage.
- 15:42Speaker 1: A worker at Denny's in Pittsburgh's facing charges after he
- 15:46Speaker 1: was caught exposing himself to female diners. Didn't order that, sir,
- 15:54Speaker 1: I did not order that.
- 15:56Speaker 10: It's yours to win a vacation for four to the
- 15:59Speaker 10: Disney Leeds.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Right now though, poo, congratulations he won an award here
- 16:03Speaker 1: at work, right He won the other day and we
- 16:08Speaker 1: were all excited for him. They came in. It was
- 16:10Speaker 1: like a big presentation that, I mean literally physically a
- 16:13Speaker 1: big trophy. Yeah that we give them all. I guess
- 16:17Speaker 1: we give out every week here at work. I've never
- 16:19Speaker 1: won it, so I wouldn't know. Yeah, yeah, either way,
- 16:22Speaker 1: I guess it's a certain award that who didn't know
- 16:25Speaker 1: anything about because he doesn't even check his email that
- 16:27Speaker 1: the boss sends.
- 16:29Speaker 6: They send it give it out monthly.
- 16:31Speaker 7: Yet money it's weekly.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I thought it was weekly. And it's a little tradition
- 16:35Speaker 1: here at work where we put something whoever wins it,
- 16:38Speaker 1: you know, they put like a note in it, and
- 16:40Speaker 1: then whoever wins it next they get the note and
- 16:42Speaker 1: then they put something else in it. They can leave
- 16:44Speaker 1: something behind as a motivational thing. So Cannis and I
- 16:47Speaker 1: were all excited about the fact that Poo won it
- 16:50Speaker 1: and that he went above and beyond, and we're clapping.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, good job. We're recording the whole thing
- 16:55Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh, that's awesome. And the boss comes
- 16:57Speaker 1: in and you know, he's like, just want to thank
- 17:00Speaker 1: you for always bringing smiles and not only that but
- 17:03Speaker 1: going above and beyond, especially last weekend, and we're like, oh, okay,
- 17:08Speaker 1: so you know, we're like, good for you. Yeah, and
- 17:10Speaker 1: then the boss walks out and this is why we've
- 17:12Speaker 1: called a family meeting.
- 17:14Speaker 8: Yeah, why because.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Well because what started off is us very happy for
- 17:18Speaker 1: Pooh because he's a hard worker.
- 17:20Speaker 7: Yeah, he's on our show. It feels like the show
- 17:23Speaker 7: one kind of yeah, not really, Well it should.
- 17:26Speaker 1: It should, you know, because when one person wins, like yesterday,
- 17:30Speaker 1: it's a team. Like yesterday, we got to know, we
- 17:33Speaker 1: kind of got some good news that we were, you know,
- 17:35Speaker 1: nominated one of the twenty best radio shows in the country.
- 17:39Speaker 1: We were at fifteen, yeah, which kind of felt like awesome, Yeah,
- 17:44Speaker 1: we all want it. I felt like, this doesn't feel
- 17:48Speaker 1: like that. So bottom line is, we start talking to
- 17:50Speaker 1: Pooh on what happened and why and like what did
- 17:53Speaker 1: you do? Because the boss kept being very specific about
- 17:55Speaker 1: him going above and beyond last weekend? Right, Oh, so
- 17:59Speaker 1: can I tell you what happened?
- 18:01Speaker 10: Please?
- 18:01Speaker 1: We find out Cannas Cannas, and I find out that
- 18:05Speaker 1: so Pooh me canis we're supposed to go to a
- 18:09Speaker 1: charity event to help out. We weren't making it a
- 18:11Speaker 1: big deal. It's something we just wanted to do as
- 18:14Speaker 1: a show together to kind of give back. And we
- 18:17Speaker 1: all kind of got together and we're like, well, let's
- 18:19Speaker 1: not go this weekend because it's gonna be a tough
- 18:22Speaker 1: weekend for all of us, right for at least for
- 18:24Speaker 1: a couple of us, because Cantas had a wedding right.
- 18:27Speaker 7: Down in Austin area, just getting back for it, just
- 18:30Speaker 7: a whole thing.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I had something to do. So we all agreed that
- 18:34Speaker 1: we weren't going to go, and we were just going
- 18:35Speaker 1: to go another weekend. Yes, that none of us wanted
- 18:39Speaker 1: to go just alone, because we wanted to go as
- 18:41Speaker 1: a show.
- 18:42Speaker 8: Yeah, guess who went?
- 18:44Speaker 5: Okay, but I went as a representative of the show.
- 18:49Speaker 8: So Poo tells us he's not going to go.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I wasn't gonna go it.
- 18:53Speaker 1: First, I say, I'm not gonna go either. Yeah, cannas,
- 18:56Speaker 1: I'm not gonna go.
- 18:57Speaker 7: If we all don't go, and we all just go
- 18:58Speaker 7: the next time, that's perfect.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Well Pooh does not translate that to the boss and
- 19:04Speaker 1: he just goes alone and says, well, and what did
- 19:07Speaker 1: you say to the boss and to everybody at this
- 19:09Speaker 1: charity event?
- 19:11Speaker 5: I just told him that y'all were busy, and I
- 19:13Speaker 5: said that I would go as a.
- 19:20Speaker 4: Y'all were busy. I mean, but I was repping the show.
- 19:24Speaker 7: But that makes us look like we right, it seems
- 19:26Speaker 7: like we didn't want to go, or we just couldn't
- 19:28Speaker 7: make it.
- 19:29Speaker 6: A price couldn't work at that time.
- 19:34Speaker 1: But why go? Here's my thing. Why go?
- 19:38Speaker 8: And I know it's for charity, and I'm so glad.
- 19:40Speaker 1: That you can help out of course, But at the
- 19:42Speaker 1: same time, if why say you're not gonna go and
- 19:45Speaker 1: we're going to go as a show, and then you
- 19:46Speaker 1: go and then you tell everybody at the charity event
- 19:50Speaker 1: that we were too busy, which is not the case.
- 19:53Speaker 1: We thought another weekend would work better. So then you
- 19:57Speaker 1: show up alone and then get in a war.
- 20:00Speaker 5: Well but I told the charity did y'all? Hey, I said,
- 20:04Speaker 5: we'll reschedule. Everybody will club next time. But why'd you go?
- 20:08Speaker 4: Well, I just wanted to rep the show, you know.
- 20:11Speaker 1: But you're not anybody else.
- 20:14Speaker 7: Yeah, Well, it's like if we all agree to something.
- 20:16Speaker 7: It's like one time, I think there was a meeting
- 20:18Speaker 7: or something and they said, oh, Candice can't go, and.
- 20:21Speaker 6: Then I think you guys all went to lunch without me.
- 20:24Speaker 7: Similar situation where I thought, well, if I can't go,
- 20:27Speaker 7: we're going to reschedule it.
- 20:28Speaker 8: Because it was different.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that was that was something that but we we
- 20:34Speaker 1: went in your place, like you know, first of launch.
- 20:38Speaker 1: That was a show thing because well that was our
- 20:40Speaker 1: boss wanted to get us all together before the holidays,
- 20:43Speaker 1: and we were like sure. I'm like, yeah, I can go,
- 20:46Speaker 1: and then Peuh said yeah I can go too, And
- 20:48Speaker 1: then you said I can't go.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Right.
- 20:50Speaker 8: But it wasn't a charity event. It was just a
- 20:52Speaker 8: lunch right.
- 20:52Speaker 6: But I know, I'm just saying, like.
- 20:54Speaker 5: God, bringing that back, A woman's going Listen, y'all can't
- 20:58Speaker 5: get mad at me.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Did you mad?
- 21:01Speaker 4: They're cool with it. I told him we're gonna go again,
- 21:03Speaker 4: like all of us.
- 21:05Speaker 1: You know what I mean.
- 21:06Speaker 6: I can't see you for the trophy.
- 21:08Speaker 1: It's so big, the trophy. It just doesn't it sound
- 21:12Speaker 1: like maybe I'm wrong. It sounds like he set himself up.
- 21:18Speaker 4: Man, Would I do that? Billy? I mean, I don't know.
- 21:27Speaker 1: I'm just saying. I'm just saying, it's a little weird
- 21:32Speaker 1: you showed up. Okay, Well, I just want to know
- 21:34Speaker 1: the real reason.
- 21:34Speaker 8: Why shout up?
- 21:35Speaker 1: And then he gets a then he gets an award
- 21:37Speaker 1: for it, and I'm like, oh, wow, he went above
- 21:40Speaker 1: and beyond what you do. Well. He showed up at
- 21:41Speaker 1: a charity event that everybody else was too busy for.
- 21:44Speaker 1: We weren't too busy. We were moving it to another
- 21:47Speaker 1: weekend that worked better for us. Yeah.
- 21:49Speaker 7: Well, they that we weren't going to do it.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Yeah, they DM me and they were like, hey, looking
- 21:53Speaker 4: forward to seeing you.
- 21:54Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, and I forgot to tell
- 21:57Speaker 1: so I just took good. So now now we look
- 21:59Speaker 1: like the bad So I told him.
- 22:01Speaker 5: I said, oh, oh for god, they had something come up.
- 22:03Speaker 1: You see what it was saying.
- 22:04Speaker 7: Anyone here thinks we were too busy, right, which wasn't
- 22:07Speaker 7: the case.
- 22:07Speaker 1: We were just doing it another weekend that worked better.
- 22:09Speaker 1: We were too busy for a charity. Don't tell that
- 22:12Speaker 1: charity we're too busy. It wasn't that we were. I
- 22:15Speaker 1: can't wait to do this today.
- 22:17Speaker 4: I'm gonna do this to you.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Next time. I'm gonna be like, hey, no, pooh, we
- 22:21Speaker 1: don't have to show up to this work meeting. Yeah,
- 22:23Speaker 1: And I'm gonna show up anyway and go, yeah, pooh
- 22:25Speaker 1: was too busy.
- 22:27Speaker 12: What I said tas tough stories on the tents with
- 22:31Speaker 12: Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 22:32Speaker 9: Only on the New Mixed one or two point nine.
- 22:35Speaker 1: We got Dirty Little Secret coming up at seven thirty.
- 22:37Speaker 1: We get a lot going on this morning. Cannie Lowpez,
- 22:39Speaker 1: what's up?
- 22:40Speaker 7: Yeah, Well, the results are in from the Texas primaries.
- 22:42Speaker 7: Democratic state Representative James Talerico defeated Representative Jasmine Crockett to
- 22:47Speaker 7: become the Democratic nominee for US Senate in November's mid
- 22:50Speaker 7: term elections, and then on the Republican side, incumbent Senator
- 22:54Speaker 7: John Cornyn and Attorney General Ken Paxson they will go
- 22:57Speaker 7: to a runoff in May. Since neither can It got
- 23:00Speaker 7: more than fifty percent of the vote. That runoff election
- 23:03Speaker 7: will happen May twenty six. And we should shout out
- 23:07Speaker 7: to the Dallas Stars winning ten games in a row. Ude, dude,
- 23:11Speaker 7: I love seeing this from them and people getting on
- 23:13Speaker 7: the bandwagon.
- 23:14Speaker 6: It's so funny online.
- 23:16Speaker 1: I know, I mean, I know people hop on the bandwagon,
- 23:18Speaker 1: but hey, guess what if people are getting into it,
- 23:20Speaker 1: thinking into it, It's fine.
- 23:22Speaker 7: Yeah, I'll save you a seat because I enjoy that.
- 23:24Speaker 1: We had a tough year when it comes to sports. Yes,
- 23:27Speaker 1: you know, considering I'm still not over the Luca thing. No,
- 23:30Speaker 1: so at least give us the Stars just thriving and
- 23:34Speaker 1: succeeding and killing it.
- 23:35Speaker 6: Absolutely.
- 23:36Speaker 7: I was thinking about this driving through downtown Dallas this
- 23:38Speaker 7: morning because the green building that's typically green was blue,
- 23:42Speaker 7: and then the Omni Hotel was green, and I was like, oh,
- 23:44Speaker 7: it looks like old school MAVs colors, and then I
- 23:46Speaker 7: got my feelings about it. But then I was happy
- 23:49Speaker 7: for the stars.
- 23:50Speaker 6: So some light in our.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Sports shout out to the stars. Ten in a row.
- 23:54Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 23:55Speaker 7: Keep it going, guys. It is official. Being a woman
- 23:58Speaker 7: is expensive. According to a new report, the average woman
- 24:03Speaker 7: spends sixteen hundred dollars a year on wellness and hygiene.
- 24:07Speaker 7: So this includes everything from doctor's visits and prescriptions to undergarments,
- 24:12Speaker 7: hygiene products, vitamin skincare, and beauty products.
- 24:15Speaker 1: There's no way it's that cheap. Yeah, sixteen hundred dollars.
- 24:20Speaker 1: I feel like they're saying is on the low end here.
- 24:22Speaker 7: Yeah, no, I agree.
- 24:23Speaker 1: I mean because if you're including doctor's visits, right, there's.
- 24:27Speaker 7: That was number one our most expensive expense.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I know how you ladies roll the lotion, you get everything.
- 24:32Speaker 1: So and I'm not saying hold on, yeah, I'm saying
- 24:35Speaker 1: you shouldn't, right, that's something who would say.
- 24:37Speaker 4: No.
- 24:38Speaker 1: What I'm saying is it's expensive.
- 24:41Speaker 7: It is, and the prices are just going up and
- 24:44Speaker 7: up and up. Even more than half of women say
- 24:46Speaker 7: they struggle to afford their wellness needs. And with all
- 24:50Speaker 7: this spending, the average woman says they only feel seventy
- 24:53Speaker 7: two percent healthy.
- 24:55Speaker 6: So yeah, there you go, ladies.
- 24:56Speaker 1: What can we do for you?
- 24:58Speaker 8: Can we do something?
- 24:59Speaker 1: Is there anything we can do?
- 25:00Speaker 7: I mean, chocolate would be good. You know, you know,
- 25:03Speaker 7: alone time sometimes in the studio.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Chocolate. Now you want to leave the studio?
- 25:08Speaker 6: Yeah, just you know, once a show.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I want to show me a minute to you know,
- 25:12Speaker 1: you tell us, you tell us when camp exactly. Here's
- 25:15Speaker 1: your card where you just sa When you hold this
- 25:17Speaker 1: card up, we leave immediately.
- 25:19Speaker 6: Okay.
- 25:19Speaker 1: So when you hear dead air, it's because I'm gone
- 25:23Speaker 1: and you needed some alone time exactly. Even like the
- 25:27Speaker 1: lotions you ladies use are so expensive.
- 25:30Speaker 6: Yeah, and vitamins and stuff.
- 25:32Speaker 7: I mean, have you bought vitamins lately because they're expensive.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Flints are up this year, That's what I take.
- 25:40Speaker 7: We're not taking flint stoves, Yeah.
- 25:41Speaker 1: We are.
- 25:42Speaker 8: The gummy ones are so good.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I still got some from the eighties
- 25:45Speaker 1: fighting off diseases in my system.
- 25:49Speaker 7: Good for you, I do can't it's a real quick guys.
- 25:52Speaker 9: In.
- 25:52Speaker 7: Netflix announced the cast of a new Squid game competition
- 25:56Speaker 7: show starring eight celebrity contestants. So this is you know,
- 26:00Speaker 7: people like Melby the Spice Girl, she'll be on the show,
- 26:02Speaker 7: Chloe Kardashian's ex Tristan Thompson, Kim from Real Housewives of Atlanta.
- 26:07Speaker 7: We got people from The Bachelor Nation, Traders, Dylan Ephron,
- 26:11Speaker 7: and a few others. Netflix says they will have to
- 26:13Speaker 7: step into the high stakes game and put their wit, strategy,
- 26:17Speaker 7: and skill set to the ultimate test. Curious to see
- 26:20Speaker 7: what those kind of tests are going to be like
- 26:22Speaker 7: because Squid Game is intense.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I love it though.
- 26:24Speaker 6: Yeah no, I.
- 26:24Speaker 7: Couldn't watch it, but this I think I could watch.
- 26:26Speaker 8: I still haven't been over to the Netflix house though.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Across the street at the gallery they had like that
- 26:31Speaker 1: Squid Games experience and I gotta go over there.
- 26:34Speaker 8: We should do a show field trip.
- 26:35Speaker 6: That'd be fun.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:36Speaker 7: No release date for this show yet, but it is
- 26:38Speaker 7: coming soon. I'm Kandaslowpez. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 26:43Speaker 9: Get it off your chest to promise you'll feel better.
- 26:46Speaker 10: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.

- 26:49Speaker 1: to Disneyland. That little vacation on us coming up next,

- 26:59Speaker 1: get off your chest, bring it anytime you want eight
- 27:01Speaker 1: three three seven eight seven one o two nine, or
- 27:03Speaker 1: you can always hit me up on Instagram. It is
- 27:04Speaker 1: at Billy on the Radio. At Billy on the Radio.
- 27:07Speaker 1: I'm excited for this one. And by the way, when
- 27:10Speaker 1: I call this guy unique, I said it to his face,
- 27:12Speaker 1: like I even said, like, I wasn't trying to be rude. Yeah,
- 27:15Speaker 1: he just got You've got a different vibe about you,
- 27:17Speaker 1: you know.
- 27:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I've been told I'm a little different.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Uh.
- 27:22Speaker 3: I work in a funeral home, and it's not just
- 27:28Speaker 3: you know, needed a job now I work here. It's
- 27:32Speaker 3: been in our family for four generations. Really yeah, I
- 27:37Speaker 3: like started helping my dad as a kid, probably younger
- 27:41Speaker 3: than a kid should see bodies. Now I run it
- 27:46Speaker 3: since he passed a few years ago. Okay, And even
- 27:50Speaker 3: though I've been around it for years and years and years,
- 27:54Speaker 3: it's always creeped me out. I've never gotten used to it,
- 27:59Speaker 3: and honestly, I don't really like it. But it's been
- 28:03Speaker 3: in the family so long, I had to keep it going.
- 28:06Speaker 1: That's interesting to me because I thought by now you'd
- 28:09Speaker 1: probably be like, that is what it is, But it's
- 28:10Speaker 1: never It's always kind of been weird to you.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I not. I know how to do it,
- 28:16Speaker 3: but I've not gotten used to it. Being there at
- 28:19Speaker 3: night all alone, that's the worst.
- 28:23Speaker 1: I can't even imagine. That would freak me out. I
- 28:26Speaker 1: do not like I would not want to be in
- 28:28Speaker 1: a funeral home at night with all no.
- 28:29Speaker 4: Because they'd be popping up and stuff like that.
- 28:32Speaker 1: No, yeah, you guys get it.
- 28:35Speaker 3: I always think, I always think I.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Hear things, and my mind just.
- 28:40Speaker 3: Races with all sorts of crazy thoughts I've seen.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I know for a fact, I've seen bodies move like
- 28:50Speaker 2: bodies that shouldn't move.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Okay, hold on, what do you mean you've seen bodies move?
- 28:56Speaker 8: What mean you've seen a move?
- 28:58Speaker 3: I know it happens sometimes after they passed, but I
- 29:02Speaker 3: believe there's more to it. Okay, I can't. I can't
- 29:06Speaker 3: fully explain it. But something I would do when I
- 29:10Speaker 3: was younger that no one would really know about. I
- 29:14Speaker 3: started tying fishing wire around the ankles of the bodies
- 29:20Speaker 3: when they were fully prepared, prep before they would go
- 29:26Speaker 3: to the service.
- 29:27Speaker 1: You why wait a second, you would tie fishing wire
- 29:33Speaker 1: around there? Why would you do that?
- 29:35Speaker 3: I'm sure because sometimes they move and that way, if
- 29:40Speaker 3: there's ever a zombie apocalypse, they wouldn't be able to walk.
- 29:45Speaker 7: What are you serious?
- 29:51Speaker 3: Yeah no, I look, look, I know it sounds wild,
- 29:55Speaker 3: but as a kid, this felt right.
- 29:58Speaker 7: Oh my god, I'm not.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Trying to laugh at you. I just didn't expect that.
- 30:07Speaker 1: So I'm just picture. I feel so bad. As as
- 30:10Speaker 1: a kid, you do have these things to go through
- 30:11Speaker 1: your mind where you're like, what is? What is? Because
- 30:16Speaker 1: I remember still to this day, I remember what was
- 30:18Speaker 1: that movie I watched as a kid and it haunted
- 30:20Speaker 1: a Night of the Living Dead? Oh yeah, where it was?
- 30:22Speaker 1: It was zombi and they would get up and they'd
- 30:25Speaker 1: move and they So as a kid, if I had
- 30:27Speaker 1: to work at a funeral home, I might tie something
- 30:29Speaker 1: around there. That's actually kind of small.
- 30:31Speaker 4: Melon zombie Aply, you're a kid.
- 30:36Speaker 1: We still discussed to this day what our zombie apocalypse
- 30:38Speaker 1: plan would be. Goat Island Lake Lewisvilley, That's where you'll
- 30:43Speaker 1: find me. Zombies can't swim and they can't walk with
- 30:47Speaker 1: this guy around.
- 30:48Speaker 7: Yeah, so, oh my god.
- 30:52Speaker 3: Look, I don't do it anymore. I know logically that
- 30:56Speaker 3: that's not the thing. Logically I know, but but I'm
- 31:01Speaker 3: still not sure that I shouldn't do it. I don't,
- 31:04Speaker 3: but I kind of don't think about it.
- 31:07Speaker 1: You still think, like every once in a while, like
- 31:09Speaker 1: maybe I should tie Grandma's legs up in case she
- 31:11Speaker 1: comes back to life. Yeah.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Yeah, especially you know the old ones, if they turn
- 31:19Speaker 3: into zombies, they won't move that quick. But someone that goes.
- 31:22Speaker 8: That's a good point, you know what, excellent point.
- 31:25Speaker 4: So the young ones you tie?
- 31:27Speaker 8: Well, yeah, because how fast is Memo gonna go?
- 31:30Speaker 9: Right?
- 31:30Speaker 7: But if Memo is a zombie, doesn't she have like
- 31:32Speaker 7: new capability.
- 31:34Speaker 4: A zombie power?
- 31:35Speaker 1: No? No, no, no, no, they don't. Zombies are slow in
- 31:38Speaker 1: general once they got the arthritis, Yes, go fast exactly,
- 31:42Speaker 1: And every movie you see it young the younger zombies
- 31:45Speaker 1: are faster, wild rush. Now you're one hundred percent right.
- 31:49Speaker 1: I actually am on your side. I think these people
- 31:52Speaker 1: will be the first to die in a zombie apocalypse.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Can is your brain is eaten?
- 31:59Speaker 7: There?
- 32:00Speaker 1: You first?
- 32:00Speaker 4: She said she's served on cookies.
- 32:02Speaker 1: They they don't want him, they want brains. You're safe, though,
- 32:07Speaker 1: like I said, they want brains, sir, Thank you, sir.
- 32:13Speaker 1: You'd be careful out there. Okay, all right, okay.
- 32:20Speaker 6: I did not exact.
- 32:25Speaker 1: He's doing it as a kid. I could picture your
- 32:27Speaker 1: mind going different places. I can't imagine being a kid
- 32:30Speaker 1: working at a funeral. Is that normal?
- 32:32Speaker 6: No, that's not normal.
- 32:34Speaker 1: We should find out it is still on hold. We
- 32:36Speaker 1: should find out this guy single. We hook him up.
- 32:39Speaker 1: We need to hook him up. I don't know somebody's
- 32:42Speaker 1: into this, but he's got me thinking about my zombie
- 32:44Speaker 1: apocalypse plan now, like I'm going to goat Island and
- 32:48Speaker 1: you have no plan. Candice who said he's climbing in
- 32:51Speaker 1: Reunion Tower. If there's zombies, take the steps.
- 32:56Speaker 4: I'm not take the steps up.
- 32:59Speaker 7: I just picture all that outside your spider pooh, yeah, exactly,
- 33:04Speaker 7: spider who.
- 33:06Speaker 1: You're not climbing anything.
- 33:07Speaker 8: You can make it up two flights.
- 33:11Speaker 1: I'm winded.
- 33:12Speaker 4: I guess I just die here.
- 33:15Speaker 10: Going for Candace Court.
- 33:17Speaker 12: It gets settled here with Billy the kid in the morning, all.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Right, for the Honorable Judge Candace Lopez. The mesquite Mamacita
- 33:26Speaker 1: the Queen of Kale, the something of justice. Yeah, I
- 33:30Speaker 1: don't know, I forgot what was justice? Yes, yes, exactly,
- 33:36Speaker 1: thank you. It's mixed one or two point nine. All right,
- 33:38Speaker 1: Billy to kid. Judge Candas is here, Producer Poo is here,
- 33:41Speaker 1: and yes, your cases are heard in this court room.
- 33:44Speaker 8: Your issues, your problems.
- 33:45Speaker 1: She'll solve it at Candas on air on Instagram if
- 33:48Speaker 1: you got one. All right, So this guy writes and
- 33:50Speaker 1: he says, so I'm in a fairly big argument with
- 33:52Speaker 1: my girlfriend. I would love some thoughts on this. So
- 33:56Speaker 1: we never planned on this, but we got a cat together. Okay,
- 34:02Speaker 1: it was pretty random, but there was a pet adoption
- 34:04Speaker 1: van set up next to where we were going to
- 34:06Speaker 1: have a little lunch a while back, and we couldn't
- 34:08Speaker 1: help ourselves when we saw this kitty. Everything was exciting
- 34:12Speaker 1: for a while, and I felt like the cat adjusted
- 34:14Speaker 1: pretty fast to our place. Well, now my girlfriend is
- 34:18Speaker 1: mad because the cat just doesn't like her, and she
- 34:25Speaker 1: has decided she wants to get rid of it. Oh
- 34:30Speaker 1: oh no, the only problem is the cat loves me.
- 34:36Speaker 1: I'd probably be I'd probably be upset too if I
- 34:39Speaker 1: was her. And when I told her that it loves
- 34:42Speaker 1: me because I play with it and of course I
- 34:44Speaker 1: take care of it, so of course it loves me.
- 34:47Speaker 1: We are pretty much at a standstill with this cat.
- 34:50Speaker 1: I don't know what to do. She doesn't know what
- 34:52Speaker 1: to do. Candice Court, please settle this issue.
- 34:55Speaker 4: Okay, this is bad.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Rough, rough, because well it's always tough when you know
- 35:03Speaker 1: an animal doesn't like you. I've never had that issue, yeah,
- 35:07Speaker 1: because I don't know. I've just I've never been in
- 35:09Speaker 1: a situation where the animal doesn't like me, right, they
- 35:14Speaker 1: all like he does.
- 35:16Speaker 7: I feel like I've been around more cats. They're just
- 35:18Speaker 7: like not agreeable animals, you know, than like dogs, which.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Are like number one, But usually cats are just like
- 35:25Speaker 1: I'm not. I necessarily don't have like some desire to
- 35:29Speaker 1: get a cat, right, Like my ex had a cat,
- 35:31Speaker 1: and I actually really liked the cat. Yeah, I learned
- 35:34Speaker 1: and like, wow, I love this cat and we were
- 35:36Speaker 1: cool because they're just very simple, like if you feed
- 35:39Speaker 1: them and give them treats, they love you. Yeah, So
- 35:41Speaker 1: she must really not pay attention to this cat, because
- 35:44Speaker 1: I feel like cats are just kind of like whatever.
- 35:46Speaker 6: We can't be bothered.
- 35:47Speaker 8: They can treats.
- 35:49Speaker 7: Yeah, the little toys, right, don't they like a little
- 35:52Speaker 7: stick with the funny feather on the end or something
- 35:54Speaker 7: that it's been so long since I've had a cat, I'd.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Give him some cat nip, which is pretty much like
- 35:59Speaker 1: just cat drugs. Oh, you know, and they get high
- 36:02Speaker 1: and stoned and you just play with them and they're happy.
- 36:05Speaker 1: And cats aren't the necessarily the most I feel like
- 36:08Speaker 1: they're good readers of people, though, you know, so if
- 36:11Speaker 1: they're staying away from her, this cat's staying away from her.
- 36:14Speaker 7: They're kind of judging. Aren't cats kind of judging?
- 36:16Speaker 1: Sure? So are you?
- 36:17Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 36:20Speaker 10: Judging?
- 36:21Speaker 7: And except for Candace course, Okay, well this is you know,
- 36:24Speaker 7: my time to shine judge.
- 36:26Speaker 1: I say this with all respect, of course, but we
- 36:29Speaker 1: all are a little judge at times. Who gosh, what
- 36:33Speaker 1: happens in this situation? You can't get rid of it?
- 36:35Speaker 1: Yeahs ad to suck it up?
- 36:38Speaker 6: I mean, they have to figure it out.
- 36:39Speaker 7: You can't just ditch the cat because it doesn't like
- 36:42Speaker 7: you can't you just live, you know, in the same
- 36:44Speaker 7: house with just That's what it is.
- 36:46Speaker 1: It depends on how it doesn't like you too. It
- 36:48Speaker 1: depends because like, if this is a situation where the
- 36:51Speaker 1: cat's trying to bite me or something.
- 36:54Speaker 7: Now that's a different story, which that wasn't They didn't
- 36:56Speaker 7: say that in the memo, right, we haven't.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Heard her side of the storeorry. Well, so I'm just
- 37:01Speaker 1: assuming in my head if I heard from her, I'm
- 37:03Speaker 1: thinking she'd say, this cat tries to attack me at night.
- 37:06Speaker 8: Yeah, claw my face.
- 37:08Speaker 7: I mean that's the case.
- 37:09Speaker 6: The cat's got to go.
- 37:10Speaker 8: What was she doing though, I don't I don't know.
- 37:13Speaker 5: You know, you got to be doing something that it's
- 37:16Speaker 5: getting on that cat's nerves, like your ex's cat. I
- 37:19Speaker 5: liked it because, well, first of all, we got along
- 37:20Speaker 5: because we were both black.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Wow.
- 37:23Speaker 8: I didn't have no problem instantly bonded.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Yeah yeah. And that cat was cool because you could
- 37:30Speaker 1: just like give it treats and it would just be fine. Yeah.
- 37:33Speaker 1: But he was also the boss, like he would boss
- 37:36Speaker 1: around my big german shepherd.
- 37:37Speaker 7: Oh really, Oh yeah, wow, just.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Punk my shepherd just slap him right across the face.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Cats are they don't care? I know, that's probably what
- 37:47Speaker 1: he's doing in this this girl, you know, just smacking.
- 37:50Speaker 7: Let the claws come out. He's got to go, you
- 37:55Speaker 7: knowing people, Okay, Well we don't know if that's the case,
- 38:00Speaker 7: but I just need to know why.
- 38:01Speaker 6: The cat doesn't like her.
- 38:02Speaker 1: It'd be different if like they you know, he already
- 38:05Speaker 1: had this cat, or he got the cat without her,
- 38:08Speaker 1: you know, accepting it. But I don't know.
- 38:10Speaker 7: I got the cat together, though.
- 38:11Speaker 1: You can't get rid of the cat. That's my vote.
- 38:13Speaker 1: There's no way, Cannas. It doesn't matter what we think,
- 38:15Speaker 1: forget what poo thinks.
- 38:16Speaker 8: It matters what you'll think.
- 38:17Speaker 6: So bad.
- 38:18Speaker 7: Yeah, look, yeah, I think this girl's guilty of being
- 38:21Speaker 7: a fancy feast flow. Whoa, You just gotta start feeding
- 38:26Speaker 7: it the start feeding it right. You gotta take some
- 38:31Speaker 7: time to feed the cat.
- 38:32Speaker 3: Got a cat food?
- 38:34Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, guilty of being.
- 38:38Speaker 7: A fancy feast flow.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 38:41Speaker 10: Top stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid in.
- 38:43Speaker 9: The morning only on the new mix one or two point.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Cannae, Little pis What is going on?
- 38:49Speaker 6: Well, we're starting off warm this morning.
- 38:50Speaker 7: It's already seventy one outside. Muggy and cloudy. Rain and
- 38:54Speaker 7: storms are headed our way.
- 38:55Speaker 6: Later this afternoon.
- 38:56Speaker 7: Though the severe weather risk is low, we could see
- 38:59Speaker 7: some hay. The strongest storms could have fifty to sixty
- 39:02Speaker 7: mile per hour winds, though isolated tornadoes they're saying are
- 39:05Speaker 7: possible but not likely.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Well, severe weather is not possible, the low risk. Well
- 39:11Speaker 1: rist and then you said, hal, well, hail is severe
- 39:13Speaker 1: weather to me?
- 39:14Speaker 7: Yeah, I guess so, yes it is.
- 39:17Speaker 1: I think it is.
- 39:18Speaker 8: But either way, hopefully it doesn't get too bad. But
- 39:19Speaker 8: when's this going to start?
- 39:20Speaker 1: Do we know?
- 39:21Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 39:21Speaker 7: I think in this afternoon, like around four ish. I
- 39:23Speaker 7: think most of it should come through four pm to
- 39:26Speaker 7: two am timeframe. But rain chances go down tomorrow, then
- 39:30Speaker 7: back up Friday and Saturday. But we pretty much have
- 39:32Speaker 7: rain chances every day for the next week.
- 39:34Speaker 8: Yeah, I saw that. Yeah, that time of the year.
- 39:36Speaker 6: It is, guys.
- 39:37Speaker 7: Dictionary dot Com has added over fifteen hundred new entries
- 39:41Speaker 7: into its twenty twenty six Winter word drop.
- 39:44Speaker 6: So a lot of these words.
- 39:45Speaker 7: Are science y and like techie words. Some are from
- 39:48Speaker 7: other languages. But one that stood out to me was
- 39:51Speaker 7: swifty has finally earned its spot in dictionary dot com.
- 39:56Speaker 7: I'm surprised because I think they have is like also.
- 39:59Speaker 1: In there, not already in there?
- 40:00Speaker 8: Yeah, okay, swifty deserves.
- 40:02Speaker 7: Late to the game late.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:05Speaker 7: Other new entries are the word Glamazon, which i'd actually
- 40:09Speaker 7: never heard of.
- 40:10Speaker 1: You have, Oh, yeah, Glamazon woman. Yeah it's someone No,
- 40:13Speaker 1: I haven't. Oh, it's a.
- 40:16Speaker 7: Woman who is beautiful and glamorous as well as being tall, strong,
- 40:20Speaker 7: or powerful.
- 40:20Speaker 1: That's kind of rude, isn't it.
- 40:22Speaker 6: Amazon.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Well, I mean they say if somebody's tall sometimes. I
- 40:25Speaker 1: thought it was a derogatory thing to call a tall
- 40:27Speaker 1: woman an Amazon woman.
- 40:29Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean I think, yeah, I would think so
- 40:31Speaker 6: for sure.
- 40:31Speaker 8: That's basically what you're saying. You're saying she's a Glamazon.
- 40:33Speaker 6: I mean, I know I'm not tall, so I don't know.
- 40:35Speaker 7: But some women who are tall don't like to be
- 40:37Speaker 7: called out as tall, like some short women don't like
- 40:39Speaker 7: to be called out as short. But yeah, Amazon smash
- 40:43Speaker 7: Burger made it, guys. I thought everyone knew what a
- 40:46Speaker 7: smash burger was. But it's a hamburger where you cook
- 40:50Speaker 7: the patty by pressing it.
- 40:51Speaker 1: You know, really thin, you're saying you smash a smash burger.
- 40:54Speaker 6: You smash a burger.
- 40:55Speaker 1: That's wild. Yeah, I know.
- 40:57Speaker 7: Yeah, So there you go. Do words in the dictionary.
- 41:00Speaker 7: Remember last week we were talking about Benny Blanco and
- 41:02Speaker 7: his dirty feet. Remember he launched that podcast called Friends
- 41:06Speaker 7: Keep Secrets, and there's a video of him, you know,
- 41:09Speaker 7: sitting on the couch and his feet are just, I
- 41:12Speaker 7: mean dirty, like he hasn't put on shoes in weeks.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Like he's been walking around Town East barefoot for a week.
- 41:21Speaker 1: Like he's been walking around at Dollar General barefoot, Yeah,
- 41:25Speaker 1: shopping basically.
- 41:27Speaker 7: Yeah, well they were disgusting. Fans were jumping into the
- 41:29Speaker 7: conversation saying, Selena Gomez, divorce him. Those feet are filthy.
- 41:34Speaker 7: That is clearly not happening, because yesterday we saw a
- 41:37Speaker 7: new clip which shows Selena Gomez kissing his dirty feet.
- 41:43Speaker 6: I mean they were.
- 41:49Speaker 7: They weren't quite as nasty as last week, but they
- 41:52Speaker 7: were not clean. No, like you can see that's not
- 41:56Speaker 7: a shadow hold on.
- 41:57Speaker 1: I don't care who how clean the feet are. It
- 42:00Speaker 1: doesn't mean I'm kissing m at all. Yeah, well, you
- 42:03Speaker 1: wouldn't kiss up Martha Stewart Lee, No, No, I would not.
- 42:07Speaker 1: You wouldn't know Martha Stewart Ella Langley. Maybe a little kiss,
- 42:18Speaker 1: maybe just a little peck.
- 42:22Speaker 7: She kisses his feet though, and then she's like nuzzling
- 42:24Speaker 7: into his foot over her face, and yeah, the internet
- 42:28Speaker 7: is just like why Are we seeing so much of
- 42:30Speaker 7: Benny Blanco's feet disgusting?
- 42:32Speaker 6: Yeah, there you go. I'm Kandaslopez.
- 42:34Speaker 7: Those are your Texas top stories.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Oh that's a hot take.
- 42:37Speaker 10: Let us know what you think.
- 42:38Speaker 7: Here's today's hot take.
- 42:39Speaker 1: I take it the day. It's Bailly a kid, Canda
- 42:41Speaker 1: Slopez producer pun don't forget that Disneyland vacation on us
- 42:44Speaker 1: A shot to win it? Coming up next hot take.
- 42:48Speaker 1: This story is fascinating to me. And when I say fascinating,
- 42:52Speaker 1: I mean kind of just awesome, because it's so ridiculous.
- 42:56Speaker 1: This guy wins a twenty million dollars powerball. His ex
- 43:03Speaker 1: wife is now suing him for ten million dollars, claiming
- 43:08Speaker 1: his winning lottery numbers were stolen from their relationship scrap book.
- 43:14Speaker 1: She wouldn't listen to this, okay, So he basically hits
- 43:18Speaker 1: the lot of This is insanely bad luck for her.
- 43:21Speaker 1: He hits the powerball three weeks after their divorce was
- 43:25Speaker 1: final loss. Can you imagine, No, you're going through it.
- 43:31Speaker 1: You're fighting with yours soon to be ex.
- 43:33Speaker 8: Yeah, do you think?
- 43:34Speaker 1: So? It's gotta be right?
- 43:36Speaker 8: And you know he's like, oh man, this is awful.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Gets a divorce. Three weeks later, he hits the powerball
- 43:41Speaker 1: for twenty million and you're the ex wife now who has.
- 43:45Speaker 8: None of that?
- 43:46Speaker 1: Wow, not even a smidge of its house. So you
- 43:52Speaker 1: can have it. So here's the story. Her name is
- 43:55Speaker 1: Brenda Kowalski, oh thirty four of Akron, Ohio. She filed
- 43:59Speaker 1: a ten million dollar lawsuit against her ex husband, Dale Kowalski,
- 44:04Speaker 1: who's thirty seven, he hit the twenty million dollar power balls.
- 44:07Speaker 1: She insists she owns half of everything emotionally, spiritually, and
- 44:13Speaker 1: now legally, according to these core documents. Because the numbers
- 44:16Speaker 1: that he used are numbers from their relationship. And I'll
- 44:21Speaker 1: give you the rundown. Why, Wow, he used four to
- 44:24Speaker 1: twelve Okay, what does that have to do with their relationship?
- 44:28Speaker 8: It's the date they met at Applebee's.
- 44:33Speaker 1: For happy hour. That was the date they met, she says,
- 44:38Speaker 1: and he used it for that reason. Not done? Are
- 44:41Speaker 1: you ready? He also used seven twenty three. Oh that's
- 44:46Speaker 1: their wedding anniversary.
- 44:49Speaker 8: Okay.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Then it gets even better because then you're like, wow,
- 44:53Speaker 1: that is odd. What are the chances maybe he really
- 44:55Speaker 1: did use it because that's special dates to him. She's saying,
- 44:58Speaker 1: it's basically spec dates to them though, so she deserves half.
- 45:02Speaker 1: But then it gets better. Eleven two. You're like, well,
- 45:04Speaker 1: what happened on eleven two? Yeah, that's the date that
- 45:08Speaker 1: Brenda says Dale quote looked at her like she was
- 45:10Speaker 1: the only woman in the room.
- 45:19Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 45:20Speaker 1: No, I'll never forget that day where Dale looked at
- 45:22Speaker 1: me like I was the only woman in Applebee's eleven two.
- 45:28Speaker 1: Then there's another number. You're like, well there's another number, yeah,
- 45:34Speaker 1: three and three. She says, three is her lucky number
- 45:38Speaker 1: since third grade, So she obviously deserves half of this money.
- 45:45Speaker 1: Ten million dollars. She said, those are our numbers. Interesting
- 45:51Speaker 1: from our story, so guess what this is our money?
- 45:55Speaker 1: They found. Reporters found Brenda outside of the courtroom after
- 45:58Speaker 1: the hearing, and she said, quote, he didn't just win
- 46:02Speaker 1: the lottery, he won our lottery, and I want half.
- 46:08Speaker 8: Does she deserve half? I know we're not doing Canis Court,
- 46:11Speaker 8: but hot take the day?
- 46:13Speaker 7: Unfortunately? No?
- 46:14Speaker 1: No, I mean, how could you, right? How could you
- 46:17Speaker 1: just because the numbers were special to you.
- 46:20Speaker 8: You didn't play the lotto.
- 46:22Speaker 1: But the best part about this entire story is when
- 46:25Speaker 1: they reached out to Dale, he wouldn't talk to reporters.
- 46:28Speaker 10: Uh huh.
- 46:29Speaker 4: And then this is the funniest part.
- 46:30Speaker 1: About the entire thing. Dale's like, you know, he just
- 46:33Speaker 1: got twenty million. He's like Brendan who. He's like, I
- 46:36Speaker 1: don't really care. I don't want to talk to you reporters. Whatever. No,
- 46:39Speaker 1: you know this is not going to make it through court. Ye. Whatever.
- 46:42Speaker 1: He wouldn't talk to the reporters, and he declined to comment,
- 46:46Speaker 1: and he was seen are you ready for this? He
- 46:48Speaker 1: was seen leaving court in a brand new escalade with
- 46:53Speaker 1: plates that said not yours. You get it down. You
- 47:03Speaker 1: know I love a good list, Candice, Yeah, can I
- 47:05Speaker 1: hear my list music? Go ahead? Because when I see
- 47:08Speaker 1: a list, I just get excited. There's something about it.
- 47:10Speaker 1: I don't know. So people are sharing the funniest excuses
- 47:14Speaker 1: that they've heard to get out of work, Like some
- 47:16Speaker 1: of the bosses are writing in and I've never really
- 47:18Speaker 1: been a boss that you have to call and you know, oh,
- 47:20Speaker 1: well here on this why I can't come in. So
- 47:22Speaker 1: I don't know the good excuses the people here.
- 47:24Speaker 6: Yeah, it's also hard to not come in when you do.
- 47:27Speaker 1: This job, right, But it's also too like I like
- 47:29Speaker 1: my job. Yeah, Sam, I can honestly say, I don't
- 47:32Speaker 1: know if I've ever really called in for some ridiculous reason.
- 47:35Speaker 8: I haven't.
- 47:36Speaker 6: No, me neither.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Noah, this job, No, not this job. Pooh's ever missed
- 47:42Speaker 1: a day? No, I don't miss the day.
- 47:44Speaker 8: WHOA wait a minute?
- 47:45Speaker 1: Is that why he won the award perfect Attendance?
- 47:49Speaker 4: Yeah he does.
- 47:50Speaker 8: Yeah, has Poo.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Ever missed a day since I've worked with him? Hold on? Never,
- 47:55Speaker 1: which has been almost what twenty something years? I haven't.
- 47:58Speaker 7: Okay, you do deserve that true a sick day?
- 48:01Speaker 1: Have you ever even called them sick? I don't remember.
- 48:06Speaker 4: Never, not even back in the day. Wow, I mean,
- 48:10Speaker 4: Billy's almost the same. Remember you you got your wisdom peopled.
- 48:13Speaker 1: And you showed up.
- 48:14Speaker 4: Yeah, up, take your guys out, did a break down.
- 48:19Speaker 7: It's rare for me too, until I got COVID and
- 48:21Speaker 7: then it was what you're going to do in a lot. No,
- 48:24Speaker 7: I don't, absolutely miserable.
- 48:28Speaker 8: Yeah, no, don't even start.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Candis used an excuse like I'm sorry, I was cooking
- 48:35Speaker 1: garbonzo beans and they burned.
- 48:37Speaker 8: All right, here, let's go over some of these excuses the.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Bosses have got now, you're ready.
- 48:41Speaker 8: This one's pretty awesome.
- 48:44Speaker 1: They needed to leave early because their cat was stressed
- 48:48Speaker 1: out and wouldn't stop meyowing no. I guess they have
- 48:54Speaker 1: the Ferby camera and they're checking it. She's like, something's
- 48:56Speaker 1: going on. I have to leave.
- 48:57Speaker 7: My cat is super streng sad.
- 49:00Speaker 8: No, if you're the boss, you let her go.
- 49:03Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, no, I'm sorry, You're gonna have to
- 49:10Speaker 1: stay here.
- 49:11Speaker 8: Okay.
- 49:13Speaker 1: This person came up to the boss and said they
- 49:14Speaker 1: needed to leave early because their car was low on gas.
- 49:18Speaker 6: What were they.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Sorry? I got to get home at the same time,
- 49:26Speaker 1: so I'll have to leave here early because so no planning?
- 49:31Speaker 1: Is that a no canis?
- 49:32Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 49:32Speaker 1: This is why canus can never be a boss like
- 49:34Speaker 1: this because she let everybody go. Yeah, okay, what about
- 49:40Speaker 1: this one. This person said they worked from home but
- 49:43Speaker 1: had to leave an online meeting because they said a
- 49:47Speaker 1: squirrel fell down their chimney and was running around their house.
- 49:54Speaker 1: That's kind of might actually be that might actually be
- 49:58Speaker 1: a good excuse. A squirrel falls down the chimney and
- 50:03Speaker 1: just starts running around the house all crazy. Yeah, I'm
- 50:07Speaker 1: terrified of animals getting in the house. Have you ever
- 50:09Speaker 1: had an animal get.
- 50:10Speaker 8: In your house.
- 50:10Speaker 6: We had a bird in the house once.
- 50:12Speaker 1: That's bad luck.
- 50:13Speaker 8: Yeah, I heard they say somebody's going to pass away.
- 50:15Speaker 7: Well this was a long time ago, so oh, I
- 50:18Speaker 7: don't know birds.
- 50:19Speaker 1: I had a friend, our friend Katie, a possum got.
- 50:22Speaker 8: Into her house.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Oh remember that she had the front door open or
- 50:26Speaker 1: something and she was taking something. I don't even know
- 50:29Speaker 1: what happened, but that can't luck the possum. The possum
- 50:33Speaker 1: just walked in and then she had to like chase
- 50:36Speaker 1: it out with the broom. Wow, like beat that thing
- 50:39Speaker 1: with the broom. Possums are horrendously Yeah. People say they're friendly,
- 50:44Speaker 1: but I'm like, I don't care.
- 50:45Speaker 6: They just sit up.
- 50:46Speaker 4: There with their mouth open, look like they smile and just.
- 50:50Speaker 8: But I guess they're.
- 50:51Speaker 1: Really clean and we need them in our environment. So yeah,
- 50:53Speaker 1: they get rid of ticks and stuff, and they don't
- 50:56Speaker 1: have rabies. They're like the only animal the cake bies
- 50:59Speaker 1: let them. Yeah, what about this one? A guy called
- 51:02Speaker 1: in for work one time when I was the boss
- 51:04Speaker 1: because he said he got lost in the woods all
- 51:06Speaker 1: weekend and he just got back at four am Monday morning,
- 51:10Speaker 1: so he needed to sleep.
- 51:12Speaker 8: Wild Sir, I have questions.
- 51:14Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you mean he got lost in the woods?
- 51:16Speaker 1: What are we doing? Oh? I was on a height
- 51:17Speaker 1: all weekend. But this one is probably my favorite one
- 51:20Speaker 1: excuses that people have used to get out of work,
- 51:23Speaker 1: call in or whatnot. She had to leave because her
- 51:26Speaker 1: kid got a pee stuck up his nose.
- 51:29Speaker 4: Oh oh, that sounds familiar.
- 51:31Speaker 8: Billity got a pee stuck up her.
- 51:33Speaker 7: Now, what'd you get stuck up your nose?
- 51:35Speaker 1: Oh? When I was a kid, Yeah, He's like, oh
- 51:38Speaker 1: oh me, Well listen. I'm not necessarily proud of this moment.
- 51:42Speaker 1: But when I was a kid, my grandma, my great grandma,
- 51:45Speaker 1: was watching me, so she had to be a good
- 51:47Speaker 1: I don't know, one hundred and twenty.
- 51:49Speaker 8: At least it felt like it.
- 51:51Speaker 1: You know, when you're a kid, old people seem like
- 51:53Speaker 1: they're so old. Yeah, for sure.
- 51:55Speaker 8: I think she was like eighty six, you know.
- 51:58Speaker 1: And I don't know why I was so order over there,
- 52:00Speaker 1: because she would just watch prices right.
- 52:02Speaker 7: Oh yeah, same.
- 52:03Speaker 1: So I decided to see how many peanuts I could
- 52:06Speaker 1: shove up my nose.
- 52:08Speaker 4: What kind of peanuts was it?
- 52:09Speaker 1: Like?
- 52:09Speaker 8: Like those little Spanish peanuts?
- 52:11Speaker 7: Oh yeah, and little skins on them?
- 52:15Speaker 1: Needless to say, I freaked out, felt like I couldn't
- 52:18Speaker 1: breathe and started having like a hyperventilating oh because I
- 52:21Speaker 1: couldn't get him out. I mean I had him Cannie,
- 52:24Speaker 1: I had him stuffed up there. Yeah, oh wow, both
- 52:26Speaker 1: nostrils both and my grandma started panicking. She had to
- 52:30Speaker 1: call my mom at work and she had to come
- 52:32Speaker 1: home and had to almost take me to the hospital
- 52:35Speaker 1: because there was peanuts stuck up my nose. I mean
- 52:39Speaker 1: all both sides.
- 52:40Speaker 6: So your mom had to tell her boss.
- 52:42Speaker 7: Yeah, Mom, he's got peanuts stuck in his nose.
- 52:45Speaker 1: I had to believe. But my son just shoved twenty
- 52:48Speaker 1: eight Spanish peanuts up his nose. She came home. Oh
- 52:53Speaker 1: my god. My mom was like once I was okay,
- 52:55Speaker 1: she was like, really really, because I'm just old enough
- 52:59Speaker 1: to know better.
- 53:00Speaker 8: Yeah, of course, and I was seventeen.
- 53:02Speaker 10: I'll just.
- 53:06Speaker 1: Not quite that bad.
- 53:08Speaker 12: Mix one to two point nine that's investinations of the
- 53:10Speaker 12: two thousands tough stories on the Tents with Billy the
- 53:13Speaker 12: Kid in the.
- 53:13Speaker 9: Morning, only on the new mix one O two point.
- 53:17Speaker 1: Nine will just be nice. I want to go on
- 53:18Speaker 1: a Disneyland vacation for ill. We can make it happen
- 53:21Speaker 1: winning every hour, your shot to win on the forty.
- 53:23Speaker 1: So coming up again soon, Candice Lopez. What's going on?
- 53:26Speaker 7: Well, the results are in from the Texas primaries yesterday.
- 53:28Speaker 7: Democratic State Representative James Talerico defeated Representative.
- 53:32Speaker 6: Jasmine Crockett to become.
- 53:33Speaker 7: The Democratic nominee for US Senate in November's mid term elections.
- 53:38Speaker 6: And then on the.
- 53:39Speaker 7: Republican side, incumbent Senator John Cornyn and Attorney General Attorney
- 53:43Speaker 7: General Ken.
- 53:44Speaker 6: Paxson will go to a.
- 53:45Speaker 7: Runoff in May. Neither candidate there got more than fifty
- 53:48Speaker 7: percent of the vote, but that runoff election will happen
- 53:52Speaker 7: May twenty six, And we should shout out the Dallas
- 53:55Speaker 7: Stars winning ten games in a row, a new franchise
- 53:59Speaker 7: wrecker of course.
- 54:00Speaker 6: Yeah, they beat Calgary last night.
- 54:02Speaker 7: I love seeing the talk on this on online, just
- 54:04Speaker 7: like the bandwagon is coming get on.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Yeah, but you know what I mean, I think there's
- 54:09Speaker 1: a lot of Stars fans. Stars games to me are
- 54:12Speaker 1: one of the best sporting events you can go to.
- 54:14Speaker 7: Oh yeah, for sure.
- 54:15Speaker 1: I mean, hockey in general is so much fun and
- 54:17Speaker 1: I love it, But you go to a Stars game
- 54:20Speaker 1: and it's hard not to be a fan.
- 54:21Speaker 7: Yeah, no, for sure. I used to intern in TV sports,
- 54:24Speaker 7: and part of my job was to go to Stars
- 54:25Speaker 7: practice every week. Even their practices are intense. Oh yeah,
- 54:30Speaker 7: like people would probably pay to go see them practice.
- 54:32Speaker 1: It's so it's so wild hockey in general, Although I
- 54:35Speaker 1: will say I've been in a lot of locker rooms
- 54:37Speaker 1: and played a lot of sports. The stinkiest locker room
- 54:39Speaker 1: is a hockey locker room.
- 54:40Speaker 7: Oh yeah, definitely can't attest to that too.
- 54:42Speaker 6: Spent some time in the locker room for work too.
- 54:44Speaker 1: Yeah, Oh you did.
- 54:45Speaker 6: Interesting experience for sure.
- 54:48Speaker 1: Like the in the Stars line Yeah, would.
- 54:51Speaker 7: Sometimes yeah for the reporters.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Yeah, the game?
- 54:56Speaker 6: Yeah, well after.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Practice, would they sometimes just walk around naked kind of?
- 55:00Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 55:01Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean it was.
- 55:03Speaker 7: It was a wild experience for sure. Those guys are tough,
- 55:08Speaker 7: okay guys. Red Bull obviously known for being an energy drink,
- 55:13Speaker 7: but online rumors are saying they are looking to go
- 55:15Speaker 7: the opposite direction soon by developing a sleep drink. The
- 55:19Speaker 7: drink would guarantee to knock you out for twelve hours.
- 55:22Speaker 7: And I saw this and thought, is this going to
- 55:24Speaker 7: be like an April Fool's joke?
- 55:25Speaker 6: Next month?
- 55:25Speaker 8: They have one out now.
- 55:26Speaker 6: They do.
- 55:29Speaker 7: Well not red Bull Okay, sorry, yeah, well.
- 55:32Speaker 6: Then what happens if you add your red bull sleep.
- 55:34Speaker 1: That's mommy sleepy juice. Okay, don't touch mommy sleepy juice.
- 55:40Speaker 7: Netflix announced it announced the cast of a new Squid
- 55:43Speaker 7: Game competition show starring eight celebrity contestants. So this this
- 55:48Speaker 7: show actually kind of sounds interesting. Spice Girl Melby will
- 55:51Speaker 7: be on the show, Chloe Kardashian's ex Tristan Thompson Kim
- 55:54Speaker 7: from Real Housewives of Atlanta, and then there's people from
- 55:57Speaker 7: like Bachelor Nation. Dylan Efron I think is on the show.
- 56:01Speaker 7: But they say that these celebrities will have to step
- 56:03Speaker 7: into a high stakes game put their wit, strategy, and
- 56:06Speaker 7: skill set to the ultimate test. There hasn't been a
- 56:09Speaker 7: release date yet, but this show is coming soon, and
- 56:12Speaker 7: I think I'd watch this over the actual Squid Game,
- 56:14Speaker 7: even though it was like one of the best shows
- 56:16Speaker 7: on Netflix.
- 56:17Speaker 1: Watch games I tried, which.
- 56:21Speaker 6: Is like too violent. It was just too much, too intense.
- 56:23Speaker 7: I like shows that don't add to my anxiety. Yeah,
- 56:26Speaker 7: and watching that show.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Was just I'll be scrolling in the studio and then
- 56:30Speaker 1: like news is coming up and Canna gets anxiety from.
- 56:33Speaker 8: My feed, right because you just say my feed's intense.
- 56:36Speaker 7: It is very intense, especially today, well.
- 56:39Speaker 1: To do in a nuclear war, and it's just like
- 56:42Speaker 1: stop really stop. Yeah, okay, well don't stress out. It's okay.
- 56:45Speaker 1: We'll watch something fun.
- 56:46Speaker 7: There you go. All right, I'm Kanna Slopez. Those are
- 56:48Speaker 7: your Texas top stories chest commiss you'll feel better.
- 56:53Speaker 10: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Chance of this Disneyland vacation on us coming up next.
- 56:58Speaker 1: Get ready for that. It's mixed one or two point
- 56:59Speaker 1: now a billy a kid, Kata Slopez, producer poo and
- 57:03Speaker 1: your secrets, your confessions. It's like spring cleaning for your soul. Okay,
- 57:08Speaker 1: just flensing, get it out. It will feels so much better.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Get it out of your I don't know heart. This
- 57:14Speaker 1: is now. I said this guy was unique. So I
- 57:16Speaker 1: said he was unique. I said that, you know, No,
- 57:18Speaker 1: you're just definitely different something something different.
- 57:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I've been told I'm a little different. I work
- 57:27Speaker 3: in a funeral home. And it's not just you know,
- 57:32Speaker 3: needed a job now I work here. It's been in
- 57:36Speaker 3: our family for four generations. Really, yeah, I like started
- 57:41Speaker 3: helping my dad as a kid, probably younger than a
- 57:45Speaker 3: kid should sea bodies right now, I run it since
- 57:50Speaker 3: he passed a few years ago. Okay, and even though
- 57:54Speaker 3: I've been around it for years and years and years,
- 57:58Speaker 3: it's always reap me out. I've never gotten used to it,
- 58:02Speaker 3: and honestly, I don't really like it. But it's been
- 58:06Speaker 3: in the family so long I had to keep it going.
- 58:10Speaker 1: That's interesting to me because I thought by now you'd
- 58:12Speaker 1: probably be like, that is what it is, but it's
- 58:14Speaker 1: never It's always kind of been weird to you.
- 58:16Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I not. I know how to do it,
- 58:19Speaker 3: but I've not gotten used to it. Being there at
- 58:22Speaker 3: night all alone, that's the worst.
- 58:27Speaker 1: I can't even imagine. That would freak me out. I
- 58:29Speaker 1: do not like I would not want to be in
- 58:31Speaker 1: a funeral home at night with all no.
- 58:33Speaker 4: Because they'd be popping up and stuff like that. No
- 58:36Speaker 4: get to do.
- 58:37Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys get it. I always think. I always
- 58:40Speaker 3: think I hear things, and my mind just races with
- 58:45Speaker 3: all sorts of crazy thoughts I've seen.
- 58:48Speaker 2: I know for a fact, I've seen bodies move like
- 58:54Speaker 2: bodies that shouldn't move.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Okay, hold on, what do you mean you've seen bodies move.
- 59:00Speaker 1: You've seen a move.
- 59:01Speaker 3: I know it happens sometimes after they passed, but I
- 59:05Speaker 3: believe there's more to it.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Okay, I can't.
- 59:09Speaker 3: I can't fully explain it. But something I would do
- 59:13Speaker 3: when I was younger that no one would really know about.
- 59:17Speaker 3: I started tying fishing wire around the ankles of the
- 59:22Speaker 3: bodies when they were fully prepared, prep before they would
- 59:29Speaker 3: go to the service.
- 59:30Speaker 1: You wait a second, you would tie fishing wire around there?
- 59:38Speaker 1: Why would you do that?
- 59:39Speaker 3: I'm sure because sometimes they move and that way, if
- 59:44Speaker 3: there's ever a zombie apocalypse, they wouldn't be able to walk.
- 59:48Speaker 7: What are you serious?
- 59:54Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I look, look, I know it sounds wild.
- 59:58Speaker 3: But as a kid, this.
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: Right, Oh my god, I'm not.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Trying to laugh at you. I just didn't expect that.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: So I'm just picture. I feel so bad. As as
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: a kid, you do have these things to go through
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: your mind where you're like, what is? What is? Because
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: I remember still to this day, I remember what was
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: that movie I watched as a kid, and it haunted
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: A Night of the Living Dead? Oh yeah, where it was?
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: It was zob And they would get up and they'd
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: move and they so as a kid, if I had
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: to work at a funeral home. I might tie something
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: around there. That's actually kind of smart.
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: Mota zombie apocaly.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: You're a kid. We still discussed to this day what
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: our zombie apocalypse plan would be.
- 1:00:43Speaker 7: Ridiculous.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Goat Island Lake, Lewisville. That's where you'll find me. Zombies
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: can't swim and they can't walk with this guy around.
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: Yeah, so, oh my good.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: Look, I don't do it anymore. I know logically that's
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: not the thing. Logically I know, but but I'm still
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: not sure that I shouldn't do it. I don't, but
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: I don't think about it.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: You still think, like every once in a while, like
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: maybe I should tie Grandma's legs up in case she
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: comes back to life.
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, especially you know the old ones. If they're
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: turn into zombies, they won't move that quick. But someone
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: that goes.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: That's a good point, you know what excellent point you tie?
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: Because how fast is Memo gonna go?
- 1:01:33Speaker 10: Right?
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: But if Memo is a zombie, doesn't she have like
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: new capability.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: A zombie power.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no, they don't. Zombies are slow
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: in general.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: Once they got the arthrit, yes.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Go fast exactly, And every movie. You see it young,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: The younger zombies are faster, wild rush. Now you're one
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: hundred percent right. I actually am on your side. I
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: think these people will be the first to die in
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: a zombie apocalypse.
- 1:01:59Speaker 8: Can is your brain is eating.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: They're getting you first.
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: She said she served them cookies.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: If they they don't want for them, they want brains.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: You're safe, though, like I said, they want brains. All right, sir,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: thank you, sir. You'd be careful out there, okay, all right,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: all right, hold on. And that's what's scary is you've
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: never even seen a zombie movie. Candisy.
