- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's fuck ya Friday.
- 0:01[SPEAKER_00]: Fuck you!
- 0:02[SPEAKER_00]: Get ready for some wins!
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: and it's the antidote to fear.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: Each week my guess will bring bold, executable, intrinsic, and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and be it until you see it.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's a practice, not a perfect, let's get started.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, be it babe, welcome to your fucking Friday.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a little fired up today to be honest.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: Well, things to share.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_00]: So let's get into it.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_00]: If you're new to the be upon, we do interviews and recaps on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: I've been doing some more solo episodes and you guys are loving that.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll get more into that.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_00]: If there's a topic on me to do, we got to tell me.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_00]: I want to make sure these are fun for you.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: Then, our Fridays, I need a moment.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: I give a win.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: I share one of yours, and that is how we end our week because I love, if you are not celebrating the wins that you have in a week, it can just feel like everything is just really hard.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_00]: So, my, I need a moment.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I need a moment is something that we do in our communities for our elevate members, or in our mentorship program, and our agency members, or in our business coaching program.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: And there's a channel where they get to the grant, but they have to go share a win.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 1:35[SPEAKER_00]: This is where I get to ran.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: So I ran is that everyone thinks that they should update their platforms without asking what do I want?
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: So I was just going to do this work right now and it took me six minutes to get started instead of the regular one because my platform that I use is like, oh, we're going to change your button note that tells me where your all your work is.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's my work.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: I need it to be where I need to be a button where I can see it and it's like, oh, would you, would you like to go back to your original profile?
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I would.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: And you know what?
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: I also don't like my freaking tool that we use for projects.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not gonna put on Blaster because we do love them, but I'm a little mad at them.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_00]: Is that you did this the same week that Slack also made updates?
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: And Slack is like, oh, look at this new way of doing it here.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: As if it's easier.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's not.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's still showing me
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: My rant is that I should be the only reason why I'm behind.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: Not the platforms, not the platforms.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, more to say on that, but I just feel like this is the ultimate in the old talking, right?
- 2:44[SPEAKER_00]: My win is, okay, this is a big one.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: Normally our fuck-ifriteries are like little wins, but my win is you guys, I taught over 300 people at the Elector Daisy Carnival.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, EDC, Las Vegas.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: They invited me to teach.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: I was so freaking nervous to do it.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_00]: Over 300 people did it in 98 degrees, under a tent with misters, and then they did a family photo.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: And it was just,
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: frickin' me on, and my dream of more body's being polarized is really coming true because, of course, I love doing the conventions that we do and the things like that.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: But like, more importantly, I want non-teachers to get to do pilates.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that's why OPC exists.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, we have lots of teachers who take on it, and you should, because it is...
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: a place for you to have your personal practice, but I really also want to do these big events where I'm going to people who've never done Pilates or have only heard of Pilates a little bit, and so it's just a massive win, and I looked so good.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not as another win.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: My hair looked amazing.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: My outfit was amazing.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_00]: If you hear a panting dog that's our fostered Darla, so...
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's she'll be another win later on in the program.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: So anyways, that's my win.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: I put myself on a big stage that scared the fuck out of me and I loved it and I can't wait to do it again and they definitely are talks for next year.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_00]: So now that we've celebrated me, actually, let me just put a little thing on that.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: You guys, you really should put yourself into situations that scared the fuck out of you.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: You should.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_00]: The whole drive there about like, are you okay?
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I'm really nervous right now.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so nervous because this is like, and I really care about, I really want to do a good job.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: I want to be asked back.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: I want these people to love the type of applies that I teach, which I think is really important and really good.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm nervous that they're not going to like me or that no one's going to show because it's so hot and they put me on at one o'clock and it's so hot.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: And so we called my public.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_00]: This was a dear friend of we told her what we were doing and she got.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: appropriately excited and sort of screaming and getting so excited for me.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: So thank you, Allison, for being you.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_00]: I would just say everyone like make sure that you have people in your corner that you can celebrate or like at least talk to when you're feeling a little nervous, because like other people in my life are great.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: I need someone to get appropriately excited so that I could get out of my nervous energy and my nervous head.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_00]: So get that in your life, right?
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: So that might be another win.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's scary, but it's good.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, you're win.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: But anyways, yeah, go be a beginner.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: So this is also on the same team.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_00]: My Marie Louisa, she said, I'm beginning classical plays instructor training with Leslie Logan dream come true.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: I'll have to find out in the next episode what that means.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: All right, loves as you know.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: We must do a mantra.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: Also, you should send your wins in.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: then your Wednesday because my Maria Luisa is going to hear this on a data.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_00]: She's probably stressed out about that program that she's doing with me and you need to hear a win that you had in the past.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: So you go, oh, I'm doing new things.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: I can do hard things.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: This, I had a win a couple weeks ago.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: So this day is going to be better.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: Cause like, I'm like, my life is really fucking hard.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: Isn't it hard?
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot going on.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: I just talking to my,
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm just going to ramble for a second before I give you your mantra, so I have my client this morning and she's like, how is like everything going?
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: How's that like your Daisy carnival?
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I told her how great it was because she's been to it and she loves it.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: And so we're talking about it.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, yeah, you know, like it was so fun.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: And then, you know, Ebola is out now break.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: like, you know, there's all these things going on.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_00]: So it's really important that we take a moment to celebrate the things we are doing because there is a lot for our nervous system to deal with on a daily basis and you are doing good things.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I love that, Maria.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for sending your wind in.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: You can send your winds into the be at pod.com slash questions.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: You also send in topics.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: You want me to do two or more episodes on my opinion.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: Things like that.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: Your mantra for the weekend is, I'm a source of kindness to myself.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: I, I'm a source of kindness to myself.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: you are a source of kindness to yourself.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: My love, my love, share those of your needs to hear it.
