[SPEAKER_01]: All right, welcome back another out-to-pass to your dolphin.
• 0:09
[SPEAKER_01]: She's got done with the practice out here.
• 0:11
[SPEAKER_01]: Jim Boe camp for Joe Rose and Joe was there where we're kind of getting into the mold of training camp, getting ready for a preseason game next week.
• 0:22
[SPEAKER_01]: What have you seen so far out of this group?
• 0:25
[SPEAKER_01]: And just to practice this in general, and the theme of this football team.
• 0:29
[SPEAKER_00]: So I think just because we've been throwing a nut that we're know at all, it's that.
• 0:34
[SPEAKER_00]: The highs and lows have gone through camp to good days and bad day, especially your rookie year.
• 0:40
[SPEAKER_00]: And learn a new system and try to make splash plays and get noticed.
• 0:45
[SPEAKER_00]: And then they want to find out, do you know your assignments?
• 0:49
[SPEAKER_00]: And then are you consistent in what you're doing?
• 0:52
  [SPEAKER_00]: Can I trust you?
• 0:53
[SPEAKER_00]: And to me, this next week, going to Washington, starting bow with the practice against the commanders before
• 1:00
[SPEAKER_00]: co-chaffees already said that's is important for a lot of these young guys as the pre-season game.
• 1:06
[SPEAKER_00]: I happen to think pre-season games still count, but we're going to watch a lot of young guys and to me it starts with this draft class.
• 1:13
[SPEAKER_00]: It starts actually with the 21
• 1:16
[SPEAKER_00]: draft picks and we've had over the last two years but especially this 13 guys because of what we've done to this roster we got to go young early and we're really counting on those guys and so this week's about consistency making some plays and getting your confidence where it needs to be leading in the later in the preseason.
• 1:36
[SPEAKER_01]: yeah and they look they didn't get a lot of work i mean we saw watch them inside it was a little little inclement weather they went in and got to see them close up and i was kind of looking at the offensive linemen technique wise and seeing what they're doing there uh but the defensive liners one there's a lot of question marks uh and you want to see how you want to see how these guys first of all they're going to you know they're going to get their first big test when they go against the uh the the commanders in practice
• 1:59
[SPEAKER_01]: then you go into the lights for preseason days later and for a rookie joe you and I both went through it for a rookie that first time you walk out into the lights on an NFL team for a game in a game situation where you're gonna play a lot that's a that's a that's a that's a nerve-racking uh that's a nerve-racking moment for you know what it's funny you said that i still remember being out there going i can't believe i got this golfing in a format
• 2:23
[SPEAKER_00]: And like I'm on the team right now.
• 2:25
[SPEAKER_00]: It was pretty seasoned, but it was like man, I was one of the guys.
• 2:28
  [SPEAKER_00]: I had it.
• 2:29
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, man, make sure you get this picture, man.
• 2:31
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how many you're going to be around.
• 2:32
[SPEAKER_00]: Don't know how I'm going to be here.
• 2:33
[SPEAKER_00]: I want to be on this 45-man roster here.
• 2:36
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's great.
• 2:37
[SPEAKER_01]: So let me ask you this, Joe.
• 2:38
[SPEAKER_01]: This is a whole different one thing.
• 2:40
[SPEAKER_01]: So when did you know?
• 2:43
  [SPEAKER_01]: When did you know?
• 2:43
[SPEAKER_01]: When did you feel like you could play and we're going to play in the NFL?
• 2:47
[SPEAKER_00]: So I was lucky enough to catch a lot of footballs my rookie year in preseason.
• 2:52
[SPEAKER_00]: David Woodley was my roommate at the time and the quarterback and so I was able to catch some footballs my rookie year, which really, my rookie preseason which really helped.
• 3:02
[SPEAKER_00]: But I got to tell you what, man.
• 3:03
[SPEAKER_00]: The first guy to came up to me on the plane because guys always busted your chops.
• 3:08
  [SPEAKER_00]: I do, man.
• 3:09
[SPEAKER_00]: It's been great having you for preseason, man.
• 3:11
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll call you when you get home, man.
• 3:13
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, veterans are all bushing your chops.
• 3:16
[SPEAKER_00]: and I'll never forget Uncle Don Stroke, man, as we call them, said, hey kid, you're in good shape, you're going to be on this team.
• 3:23
[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, he was with the quarterback with the coach, yeah.
• 3:26
[SPEAKER_00]: So I was like, am this, I hope he's not rooted in this screen, man.
• 3:31
[SPEAKER_00]: And then you wait on the day you, they asked all the rookies to get there early for the last cut.
• 3:36
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
• 3:37
[SPEAKER_00]: And I sat next to the locker and sat and a carl test of did all the chopping back there telling guys go see Coach Uli your careers over and it didn't happen man it was amazing you know our later we have the meeting and we're off and running and ready for the first regular season game.
• 3:53
[SPEAKER_01]: I remember my rookie year and I don't know how it was years all the rookie we had 17 graphics on our draft.
• 3:58
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean it was we had the one that's right and so and so I and you're you're
• 4:06
[SPEAKER_01]: Ricky's working and you call everyone those Ricky, Ricky, Ricky was and they had the roster They had the roster set up there and they're in it whether they played so the they'd like I've had a bad day to down.
• 4:15
[SPEAKER_01]: They moved themselves down Hoping not to get cut off.
• 4:18
  [SPEAKER_01]: I had a good day today.
• 4:19
  [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe and so it's a it's a tedious time Look, I was I was fortunate.
• 4:24
[SPEAKER_01]: I was the first round pick so I really didn't have to worry about that I know I knew that was a little different
• 4:29
[SPEAKER_01]: But the first time I really felt like because the guy thought I thought I was in true to the whole time, you know, I went through small schools and came out of nowhere and going, I'm going to lose this guy, I haven't ever heard, you know, and so I come that I remember we were playing the jets and that a guy on their office and I'm in Gary Pets.
• 4:46
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll never forget Gary Pets and, um, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh,
• 4:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Here's a big, there's a guard or there's a guard and he had a, he's the one thing you knew about, got a big head and his face mask was like, so smashed right to it.
• 5:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, smell like his nose was hitting the ball.
• 5:03
[SPEAKER_01]: And we're just going, look at this guy, Pat.
• 5:05
[SPEAKER_01]: So, so there's a, I go in, I go in for a series, come out, going for another series and I get moved around to where I'm blind with against Gary Pats, right?
• 5:15
[SPEAKER_01]: And so we we will go through the series and we come back in the defense line and we'd sit together and say hey How's your guy or how you know how you got I go I go man that guy's a piece of crap and I and I stopped myself Or I'm going I'm in the NFL.
• 5:28
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I'm calling the guy's right right and that was that was my yeah
• 5:32
[SPEAKER_00]: was my I belong here mobile that's why you know when we talk we started this same about confidence for these guys that to get it early you know the first week of all the guys that have had a good start I think it's important man get off to a good start get confidence and and you know the coaches it's a pretty positive group here
• 5:50
[SPEAKER_00]: that coaching these guys up so it's a good start and now it goes to the next level is you're ready for a week of your first free season.
• 5:57
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's talk about some of the guys that we think are going to have chances to play, have chances to start, or make the team just what we've seen right now and they're not always going to be the first draft picks, but certainly we're going to talk about the first draft pick came proctor.
• 6:15
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's this kind of a you're kind of in a situation now when what's happening on the on the right side With the Jackson if there's something there, but but from from what you're seeing from them now and and and what you expect them I you know, I like the way goes about his business.
• 6:31
[SPEAKER_01]: We had a good chance to see him earlier inside because I'm standing right at top watching them and It takes good coaching coaches are good with him
• 6:40
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he's going to be what's what's exactly what you expect he's going to be.
• 6:45
  [SPEAKER_01]: Very athletic.
• 6:47
[SPEAKER_01]: He gets that can get out in front of plays and he is a big, big dude.
• 6:51
[SPEAKER_00]: He's not going to get pushed around.
• 6:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: We know that.
• 6:54
[SPEAKER_00]: He just got to work on his technique.
• 6:55
[SPEAKER_00]: But Bow when it's all said and done this year with this draft class.
• 7:00
[SPEAKER_00]: He needs to absolutely be a guy that we're going.
• 7:02
[SPEAKER_00]: We got our number one pick and we got to really good offensive line in the weather.
• 7:06
[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be guard or the future attack.
• 7:08
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he's going to be the guy.
• 7:10
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 7:11
[SPEAKER_01]: And so the other guy, although he's a draft pick last year, Jonah moved over to the other side more comfortable in that guard position, a little bit a little bit of issue because he doesn't have the guy that you'd like by him, Austin Jackson, to help him out.
• 7:25
[SPEAKER_01]: But I think when you look at him and look at him, I just think that his pedigree, the way he moves, and I think that he just got beat down.
• 7:38
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think anybody got beat down.
• 7:39
  [SPEAKER_01]: He got beat down.
• 7:41
[SPEAKER_01]: But he even talked about it.
• 7:43
[SPEAKER_01]: I kind of lost my confidence last year.
• 7:47
[SPEAKER_00]: It looks like right now.
• 7:51
[SPEAKER_01]: He's more of a confident player, and I think he's been playing pretty well on that side on that right side.
• 7:55
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, listen, I like the fresh start in a very honest about what he went through last year, and you know, the whole football focus ranking and stuff.
• 8:03
[SPEAKER_00]: It's out of his head.
• 8:04
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a fresh start, and honestly, as a high pick, we drafted up in the second round to get him last year.
• 8:11
[SPEAKER_00]: We need that guy to be a solid player, and he's got a chance.
• 8:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 8:15
[SPEAKER_01]: We look around the others.
• 8:15
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go all stand the offense wide receivers.
• 8:18
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, there's the the offensive line is what it is.
• 8:21
[SPEAKER_01]: You're running back out of good running back room in there.
• 8:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Think the tight end position is going to be pretty strong here.
• 8:26
[SPEAKER_01]: But that wide receiver position, very, very questionable coming in to those wide receivers.
• 8:33
  [SPEAKER_01]: Those rookies.
• 8:34
[SPEAKER_01]: They got a big order.
• 8:35
[SPEAKER_00]: And Douglas, your third and fifth round picks.
• 8:38
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 8:39
[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to be in the rotation.
• 8:41
[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to rotate four or five guys in there.
• 8:44
[SPEAKER_00]: Malik Washington's off to a really good start.
• 8:46
[SPEAKER_01]: So we got the Malik and Malik show that's going pretty well.
• 8:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Eminem, Eminem, and then the other guy I think most of the people have been talking about saying, wow, this guy is pretty good.
• 8:58
[SPEAKER_01]: It is Caleb Douglass, a third round draft show.
• 8:59
  [SPEAKER_01]: He's 6-4 to start with.
• 9:01
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he can run.
• 9:02
  [SPEAKER_00]: I think there's going to be a package.
• 9:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: There's some big houses.
• 9:05
[SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, the thing they do like about him, they're hoping.
• 9:09
[SPEAKER_00]: when he's got tight coverage he can go up as a big body and he can make plays with his body and he's done that here in the first week made some nice catches with guys all over and so it's been nice start.
• 9:20
[SPEAKER_01]: And having said that until what they've done with the wider sea
• 9:24
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the tight ends gonna play a big role.
• 9:26
[SPEAKER_01]: They're gonna play a lot of two two two tight ends A lot of three tight ends in this in this game and certainly, you know, you're looking for Dalchitch I think he's dinged up a little bit.
• 9:34
  [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I think we'll catch Mary.
• 9:35
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll learn how to pick his.
• 9:37
[SPEAKER_01]: So look, look at it.
• 9:38
  [SPEAKER_01]: We'll catch Mary.
• 9:39
  [SPEAKER_01]: He's a guy.
• 9:40
[SPEAKER_01]: Look, your thought he was just gonna be an online in my blocker.
• 9:43
[SPEAKER_01]: He's showing the ability to catch the football.
• 9:45
[SPEAKER_01]: He's showing the ability to run route.
• 9:48
  [SPEAKER_01]: But he's a bumper.
• 9:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's a guy that's going to, he's going to block you and he's going to stay on you.
• 9:54
[SPEAKER_01]: He can be one of those guys that, you know, you're running down, you're trying to stretch a plate and he's just glued to you and it just, just being a, just being a pain in the hands.
• 10:04
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 10:04
[SPEAKER_01]: For people who are trying to get off of him.
• 10:06
[SPEAKER_00]: But he, he's going to help this running game a lot and I think they're going to do a lot of two tight in, maybe some three tight in in there, but with that, you got to be able to throw it and I think, again, Will is going to be able to do that as well.
• 10:20
[SPEAKER_00]: is the biggest reason he's here right now is they need a blocking tight-end.
• 10:24
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
• 10:24
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, if not, you got to play the next draw offense alignment.
• 10:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, you know, we're three tight in.
• 10:29
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we had three tight ends last year and a little bit, and they worked pretty good.
• 10:33
[SPEAKER_01]: But then, and so I think you could do that with some of the other guys in there.
• 10:36
[SPEAKER_01]: But I just think that's gonna be a nice addition.
• 10:39
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 10:39
[SPEAKER_01]: To that room and look, I think there's gonna be times where, especially when you look at the wide receivers, if you're not getting the production, then you're gonna have to rely on the running game a little more.
• 10:49
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's gonna have, if you had a blocker like that, did you can put in there?
• 10:52
[SPEAKER_00]: But I think if I could be wrong, I don't really start to believe Malik will
• 10:56
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and listen, it's everything around him gets better.
• 10:58
[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be better, but I think he's in trouble when things break down.
• 11:03
[SPEAKER_00]: his athletic ability and that big arm and his ability runs really going to help this offense and some some plays a look like they have no chance he's going to make positive points out.
• 11:13
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we're going to see what he can do with his legs, Joe.
• 11:16
[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're talking about this earlier until game one.
• 11:19
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I agree.
• 11:20
[SPEAKER_01]: So tell us the doc and show any thing here.
• 11:23
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and don't just but but you know, he's one of those guys.
• 11:27
[SPEAKER_01]: You can tell he's an instinct run.
• 11:29
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 11:30
[SPEAKER_01]: And this thing's right there.
• 11:31
[SPEAKER_01]: If they got that instinct, that goes a long way down.
• 11:34
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, great.
• 11:34
[SPEAKER_01]: Plus you got the wheels, plus you got the building moving around.
• 11:37
[SPEAKER_01]: So there's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, and I'd say today came out of practice with some bejeweled, bejeweled cleats.
• 11:43
[SPEAKER_01]: You look like Dorothy from Wizard of Oz, except they're all jielded, but they're awkward.
• 11:48
[SPEAKER_00]: That means he's got confidence when you start wearing those coming out like that, you better have caught him.
• 11:53
[SPEAKER_00]: You might take a couple of shots, you know, you guys might say something to him.
• 11:56
[SPEAKER_00]: That's when you know you got the guy.
• 11:57
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's exactly.
• 11:58
[SPEAKER_01]: But you look good him.
• 11:59
[SPEAKER_01]: I tell you how good.
• 12:00
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if he's going to, I don't know if he's going to break him out during the regular season.
• 12:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
• 12:04
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 12:05
[SPEAKER_01]: But they look good on him.
• 12:07
  [SPEAKER_01]: Cornerback.
• 12:08
  [SPEAKER_01]: Chris Johnson.
• 12:09
[SPEAKER_01]: He's got to be he's got to play.
• 12:10
[SPEAKER_01]: You go play from day one.
• 12:11
[SPEAKER_01]: Got to get a lot of SNS day one starter.
• 12:13
[SPEAKER_00]: I know we're just going to look.
• 12:15
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, about cover corners and they're all going to be important.
• 12:18
[SPEAKER_00]: We need them all by the time this is over.
• 12:20
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to need four or five corners to be a lot of zone defense, but they're going to mix it in there.
• 12:25
[SPEAKER_00]: The Johnson needs to be again a first round pick.
• 12:28
[SPEAKER_00]: He needs to be a key piece of this.
• 12:30
[SPEAKER_00]: He's had some great plays out here and listen.
• 12:33
[SPEAKER_00]: He's got there some things to learn.
• 12:35
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 12:35
[SPEAKER_00]: You got your, I call him growing pains and he's going through those.
• 12:39
[SPEAKER_00]: But, but that's what this camp's about man.
• 12:41
[SPEAKER_00]: It's about when you, you do get beat or you have a bad play.
• 12:45
  [SPEAKER_00]: You can't fall apart.
• 12:46
[SPEAKER_00]: You get back up, you learn from it.
• 12:47
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't let it happen again.
• 12:48
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then look, sometimes especially the young guys, it's hard to do that.
• 12:51
[SPEAKER_01]: You kind of, you kind of go back to your room and you, oh, God damn, what did I do?
• 12:55
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you're under a microscope every day, every day.
• 12:57
[SPEAKER_00]: And you got your family back home on this reading about, you had a bad one today, huh?
• 13:00
  [SPEAKER_00]: Let's get it.
• 13:01
  [SPEAKER_00]: Well, we're not bad, wasn't it?
• 13:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so that happens.
• 13:05
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 13:06
[SPEAKER_01]: So we got to go corner back.
• 13:09
[SPEAKER_01]: So then then you look inside.
• 13:10
[SPEAKER_01]: You look in safety guys in the opposite corners So one of the guys it just seems to keep flashing is it to me is is Michael Taff You see him getting the hands hand on the ball.
• 13:21
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he made an interception and that did that He broke coverage
• 13:28
[SPEAKER_01]: You made your all come, but you know, you know, you and I have played with guys that were, you know, guys supposed to, guys supposed to rush the pass when he drops and it makes an interception, or he's supposed to, you know, so guys, it just, you know, it sticks, we find the ball, but that position, but he's been around it, and look, that to me,
• 13:46
[SPEAKER_01]: you know I think I think some people don't realize how important the safety position is when you got the two safety's because they control the middle of the field and usually Joe those are the guys that are given that are looking at the formations and given and given given given tidmits to linebackers, corners when they recognize formations they cheat here do this they're they're a source of information and if you get a good a good
• 14:12
[SPEAKER_01]: two good safeties that can disseminate plays on on the run and help your guys.
• 14:18
[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's a big yeah and hopefully they're in these two guys or guys these guys.
• 14:22
[SPEAKER_01]: And then look even boner out there on the corner but I think it's his time to this this time to stay healthy right and and play.
• 14:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: He's having a good camp.
• 14:30
[SPEAKER_00]: He pulled his hamstring last year and it really setting back even though I had an interception later in the season.
• 14:36
[SPEAKER_00]: But Bo getting getting back to your
• 14:42
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's not about a 4 3 40 back there.
• 14:44
[SPEAKER_00]: We play with guys that couldn't be a lot of guys in races and the Blackwood brothers.
• 14:49
[SPEAKER_00]: Their instincts were so good.
• 14:51
  [SPEAKER_00]: They were physical.
• 14:52
  [SPEAKER_00]: They were smart.
• 14:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: They were great actors.
• 14:54
[SPEAKER_00]: They could hide coverage as like nobody's business.
• 14:57
[SPEAKER_00]: Man, it was fun to play with those guys.
• 14:59
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you let those guys, there was a couple of games we played and were you getting to the second half in the locker room and had figured out what they were playing calling the line of scrimmage.
• 15:08
[SPEAKER_01]: And they knew what they knew what the
• 15:09
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they knew what they were trying to use.
• 15:11
[SPEAKER_01]: And you're going with them.
• 15:12
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what their dummy calls were, right?
• 15:14
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 15:14
[SPEAKER_01]: And they knew, and they put, hey, they're going to run this and so.
• 15:17
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 15:18
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that one safety position is with Dante Trader's wide open.
• 15:22
  [SPEAKER_01]: Look right there.
• 15:22
  [SPEAKER_01]: Michael Taff out there.
• 15:25
[SPEAKER_01]: Right, stand out, work out, work out, all those things mean something I agree, all those things we guys in eating and he's out here, yeah, still working on it.
• 15:35
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's go to what maybe one of the big, one of the big of things on the defensive side, this going to dictate how this defense, it's just that defensive front, and really it's the guys that you drafted last year.
• 15:49
[SPEAKER_01]: the Kenneth Gratz, uh, figures, uh, Phillips, those three guys.
• 15:56
[SPEAKER_01]: have to play like the guys that expect them to be now Sealer's Sealer's gonna be and this helps Sealer too, with these guys in their second year, because you don't have to babysit those guys.
• 16:06
[SPEAKER_00]: That Sealer's gonna have a better year this year than last year because of the experience of those guys.
• 16:12
[SPEAKER_00]: I think the key really one of the guys is Bigger's, because I think they can play him a lot different way.
• 16:17
[SPEAKER_00]: He's a big, big long man and I think they really like him.
• 16:21
[SPEAKER_00]: He's gotten off to a nice start here.
• 16:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Get him going some more and get more out of being a first round pick out a Michigan a year ago He played a lot of football.
• 16:33
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure he's getting tired of hearing about everybody else in his draft class And I'm hoping he can step it up Jeff.
• 16:38
  [SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely the defense.
• 16:39
[SPEAKER_01]: It's gonna be the defense of court And he's gonna be the guy that's gonna put this defense in here And he likes to do a lot of different combinations and a lot of scams every day You see all different kind of things that are that are moving within within a fort like that They'll do what do what eight plays and then they come out or 12 plays and they come out
• 16:55
[SPEAKER_01]: And you'll see a bunch of different formations.
• 16:57
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a bunch of different fronts So it's you so you can go from three four to four three to two to two to two to a wide where you got two wide guys Two interior guys, but it all depends on those guys Being able to fill those roles.
• 17:10
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and the one the one thing with bigger's bigger's complete.
• 17:12
[SPEAKER_01]: He can play out in the edge I mean, I think you well it's hard to see how big he is and and and what is what is build is but you've seen the athletic ability You can do that
• 17:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, listen, have to have a lot of packages.
• 17:24
[SPEAKER_00]: They're all running them out here.
• 17:25
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I was looking today in different nickel packages and passing situations, the run situations.
• 17:33
[SPEAKER_00]: And I've learned Jacob Rodriguez, Traymore and Kyle Lewis are going to be involved in a lot of those packages.
• 17:39
[SPEAKER_00]: And I just named three linebackers that they drafted.
• 17:42
[SPEAKER_00]: that are going to be a big part of this too.
• 17:44
[SPEAKER_00]: I think a lot of guys going to play bull.
• 17:45
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 17:46
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to get caught up in who starts and who plays the first play.
• 17:49
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 17:49
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of guys going to have kids to make a lot of play.
• 17:52
[SPEAKER_01]: This one of those defenses is that you know, you could you could have three downs and you could have three different linebackers.
• 17:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 17:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: Coming and going.
• 17:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever you do best is going to happen.
• 18:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Interesting to see and and again, I just keep going back to the way the way this
• 18:06
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, I sit outside and I see who's staying out, who's doing this, and you watch out their practice and after yesterday's practice.
• 18:17
[SPEAKER_01]: The whole defense gets into a total, and the whole offense gets into a total, and then the coaches talk it.
• 18:22
[SPEAKER_01]: Then they break away, and then they get in a line-backer group, then they get in with these defensive line group.
• 18:27
[SPEAKER_01]: They get a wide receiver, and they're all, it's kind of a bonding just, just get us together.
• 18:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's all talk about what we need to do, and I think the makeup of this team from a personality standpoint, and I think you get to this when you don't have all the
• 18:41
[SPEAKER_01]: you know the jail or the you know the guys that we've gotten rid of that were mal-contents, guys were missing practices, guys didn't want to do that, guys didn't want to do that.
• 18:51
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to do it my way, not your way.
• 18:53
[SPEAKER_01]: I think this is a group that's young enough.
• 18:56
[SPEAKER_01]: to take those situations and turn it into a bonding situation.
• 19:01
[SPEAKER_01]: Where the guys you know, you like them so much or you, they're going to depend on you, you want to depend on them, and you can trust where they're going to be and what they're going to be and not off kind of stay or stay in the air.
• 19:15
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I want to know what the fuck to do.
• 19:16
  [SPEAKER_00]: They got that.
• 19:17
[SPEAKER_00]: They got chemistry with these guys.
• 19:19
[SPEAKER_00]: They're all going to be on the same page.
• 19:20
[SPEAKER_00]: And now we got to develop and see if we have stars, how many good players we have.
• 19:25
[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to be a lot about this year and try to figure it out through 17 regular season games of what's happening.
• 19:31
[SPEAKER_00]: I think chemistry of this team is going to be solid.
• 19:33
[SPEAKER_00]: The character of this team is going to be solid all year.
• 19:36
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see anybody floating away and going their own way and having issues.
• 19:40
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think South Beach is going to be an issue.
• 19:43
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't believe Miami and hangovers in next day are going to be an issue.
• 19:46
[SPEAKER_00]: I think these guys understand this a great chance to have it make a great living and it really good organization.
