- Hey, everyone, welcome to bless This Messau the True Grund Podcast. I don't care here, what's do say? Hey? Stu? Hi, all right, so we're back. We've been gone for a little bit. We apologize, but you know, shit happens. We're gonna try to be better. I know we say that all the time, but we're really going to go gung ho on this. Gung ho, sure, gung ho on this this summer, We're gonna try to stick to it because we don't have any like vacations played or anything until September. We're just me hanging out around this house that has held damage all over it. So that was what happened last time we had I had an episode written, well, we had family come in and then it was Memorial Day and then we were going to record before we went on vacation because we went to South Padre Island. However, we had a massive hell storm and it just destroyed all of our cars, our house, Like we need a whole new roof, everything. It's it's an ordeal. So we now have a free minivan. Hopefully they haven't come back. Yeah, we bit the bullet. We bought the mini van literally three ten days before and then helstorm comes and before you guys give us a hard time. No, our garage is not cleaned out. It's exactly like every other garage in America. There's a shit in it that needs to be organized. So this is like a freak. They get hell out here, but it's not like it. This was another level. So anyways, we just bought the van and then this helstorm came and there's like a tornado nearby. It was like real scary. We had to get in the closet and everything, and so it destroyed the van. It totalled my rab four that we were about to sell to pay for hcause we bought the van. Wh're gonna pay for sell the raft four and then pay off the van or whatever. But that it destroyed the raft four and then beat up the tundra, beat up the jeep. Yeah, my jeep didn't. My jeep only had liability unders but the comprehensive whatever. It was really expensive for that, and when I did the calculations, it paid off. Just to have the liability. I just got to replace like the back like plastic part, but it like just shredded that. So anyway, so yeah, we're gonna get the van for free, and then we're just called that yeah, because apparently in Texas pretty much depends on what the salvage value is gonna be. Oh yeah, we'll have to pay a little bit for the salvage value because apparently in Texas, because Hell is so bad, if your car is damaged due to Hell, they don't salvage title the vehicles. So if they total your vehicle, you can keep it with just a regular title. It just has like Hell damage on the outside that's cosmetic, and then you can just go. You just pay the entrance company the salvage price and you just get like this are that's you know, super aerodynamic. Now because it looks like a golf ball. Mine's really bad. My vein's really bad. But i don't really care what people think. So I'm just gonna drive it with all the dents. I don't it looks I can't tell it's dinded from the inside. So I'm gonna fix that. I'm going to figure out still claims he's gonna figure how to fix heal damage. But I'm going to become a PDR tech. Okay, anyway, if there's a PDR tech out right now, you just insulted them to do it by acting like you could just pick this up casually anyway. So that's what's been going on with us. That's why we failed to record. And then we went on vacation. And then there apparently is tar all over the beaches of South Padre, which we weren't aware of, which would have been fine unless you got young children that run right for it, especially a two year old that are soon to be a two year old that just wants to stomp on it, so destroyed like bathing suits, water shoes, anything he touched was just tar all over it. Then when he picked him up, whatever you were wearing. Yeah, but we had a good time. But we don't have any vacations or anything. We're just hanging around the house for the rest of the summer, so until September, and then we're going on a cruise. Just tell everybody in the world listening when we'll be away from my own They don't know what days in September. It's a crapshoot, all right. So we'll try to be better this month or this summer and try to stick get on track. I figured out how to write cases though, when I go when I'm like pumping at work. I can't do anything because I have what are you pumping at work? Pumping milk? So I have a baby, so I go twice a day, I go in there and pump in the pumping room. Well, I can't really do anything while I'm in the pumping room, so I usually play on my phone or I read. But now figured out, I'm just taking my computer and I can like write, you just figured that out? Yeah, Like, let Stuart stop saying there you just figured that out. You're so annoying. I told you to do that years ago. No you didn't. It's a lie anyways. So I can just take it in there because I'm not do anything anyways, Like I can. So I like pump for like thirty minutes each time, and I just write and then by the end of the week, I have a case. It's great, all right. So that's what's happening right now. And you can follow us or if you want to support the podcast, check out our Patreon in the notes, and then we have buy me a Coffee, which is much appreciated, and then we have you can just like us on Facebook, follow us on Instagram. I've been trying to do more on the Instagram. I was just posting about my and my stories about my neighborhood find that I got for free. That's dou hates when I go pick up free stuff in neighborhood. You've already posted that five minutes ago. I know that I've been trying to do it in real time for everybody. All these other bitches put stuff out in real times. Do it. I'm terrible at it. I just all I have right now is everybody just gets to see pictures of my food. Not because where I work, they bring lots of food for free. So anyway, so I always have like good food everything. Anyway, you're putting that on Instagram, I need to monitor what you're doing. I thought you were. It's on Facebook too, you are on the Facebook page. Okay, well you're about to see a lot because I posted our dinner last night that I cooked. I posted about my five am wake up because I tried to. I woke up at five am the other day because I'm trying to think where you wake up at five am so you can be like more productive and everything. Because every single day I wake up and I feel like I'm already behind before I've even started. So we're gonna try this out on the weekdays. I'm not gone. I'm not gong ho? What Why am I obsessed with that word? I don't know. I'm not gung ho? What does gung ho even mean? Go? Where does gung home come from? I don't know what the origination is. I'd like to know, because it's a funny. I just know it's super motivated, mean super motivating. Well, I'm not gung ho enough drink. I'm just hoe enough to you are a ho do it on the weekdays, but not on the weekend. So anyways, all right, Well, I guess is there anything else do? No, You've done taken up enough time, Stuart. I get people saying that they enjoy our chit chat beginning, and if they don't, that's what the fast forwards for people. People have been telling me that they're like, oh yeah, I like when you guys give us a little update. Well I'm going to have anyways. All right, so this this week we're going We're having it. We have it, We're having are we have a case out of good old Louisiana where we moved from, not the one that you just saw on the news, which is that was terrible. I don't even want to talk about that one was terrible, all right. So. Tammy Lane Bowers was born March eighth, nineteen seventy one in Louisiana to Dean and Joyce Bowers. Tammy was the oldest of four siblings. She was described as outgoing and just always wanted to be the center of attention when she was growing up, Like, she would get into the room and she was everyone was drawn to her because she's always just trying to be you know, loud and big personality and stuff. So she would always tell everyone that she wanted to be an actress one day. And this was before but then she would want she wanted to go on be an actress, go on and marry and then have a family was her ultimate goal. Now her mother and father would divorce and he would remarry a woman named Eugenia. Tammy grew up in Ascension Parish, which is between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, and back when Tammy was living there, it was a much smaller place. It was around the guys Meer Louisiana areas too. You're familiar. I am not too familiar with the Baton Rouge suburb towns around such things. Yeah, we don't go we never. We didn't spend a lot of time going to Baton Rouge. We always seem to be going west. We're more familiar, and we were going to New Orleans. But yeah, I mean I did a lot of work in Baton Rouge, but it wasn't really So this was a much smaller place because, as you know, Baton Rouge has grown a lot in the last decade or so ever since Hurricane pushed a lot of people to the Baton Rouge area. And it's just I just slay it there. Yeah, So where was I? Yeah? So when when Tammy was eighteen years old, she decided to move out on her own with some friends that she met at a local grocery store where she worked. Now they would move into a trailer together and Tammy would begin going to nursing school at a local college while still working. Tammy was very connected with her family and friends, and she didn't have a home phone back then, but she did have a she would have to stop at the payphone. Stoo, your payphone? Really, what is this payphone you speak of? Yeah, so she would stop at the payphones because this was back in like the like late late eighties, nineteen eighty nine, nineteen ninety realm like. So having a home phone was maybe more of a luxury, I guess, especially if you're broke. If you're broke people working at Groce store, going to school, having a home phone was like, well, we can do without, you know, Oh hell yeah, we did without for you know. You know that'd be nice, though. I'm tired of being have to be connected all the time. Just if you're not home, they can't get to you. No phone, no no, no, not no page or no nothing back when you could use that. That's saying here, here's a quarter, go call somebody the carrig Yeah. I think there's a country song about that. Oh is there? Yeah? So anyway, so this phone. So she always used this payphone to check in with her friends and family, and the phone was located not too far from her work, just a little It was just a short walk from the Little Palace Convenient or short walk to the Little Palace Convenience Store where it was located on Louisiana Highway seventy three. Now, her mom was used to hearing from her every day, and sometimes even twice a day, Tammy would stop buy and talk to her on her way to work, and then stop buying and talked to her on her home way home from work. So, like I said, they were very close. On March sixth, nineteen ninety, just two days shy up nineteenth birthday, Tammy was doing her usual routine. She left work, she walked to the payphone down the road, and at around eleven pm she called her mom and then right after that she called a male friend of hers. As he is talking to her, he hears her say, oh, you surprised me, like she's talking to somebody next to her, and then the next thing the guy hears is a scuffle, and then he doesn't hear anything that sounds like it's straight out of a horror film or like when the dad was talking to the girl on taking the man with a special set of skills m h and based that on my life. You do not have a special set as all. I got a special set of skill. Oh you do, it's just not those we would we would be fucked if we were taking in another country. Anyways, when she's talking on the phone under the bed because he told her to go like hide under the bed and everything that, and then he can hear all of it going the background, and all of a sudden, it's just scream and then nothing. Guy, he's the cord out of wall or whatever it is, or hangs up her phone. I don't remember. Well, I think she was on a cell phone, but he just dragged her out of the room, so he heard her screaming as she's the screams getting distant, and then then he finds the phone and hangs it up. Is that what happened? Uh? Yeah, I think so. It's been some time since I've seen the movie. Been sometimes start, It has been sometime quite sometimes. So the fella quickly jumped in his car rushes down to go check on Tammy. And when he arrives at the payphone, she's not there. Alls he sees is the phone receiver hanging down off the court, kind of like a scary movie, thriller movie. Moly' said, nice enough God to get in his car and go down there and check, because a lot of men these days would be like, oh, let me just swipe right and try somebody else. Huh, Well, you didn't have that option back then, so no, you got to fish out the line. You had to like keep it, you had to work for it back back when. Now he finds besides the phone receiver hanging down, he sees her eyeglasses on the ground. Her car ist sitting there with the door wide open, keys in the ignition. So he contacts the police, and the police head to the scene to see what's going on. After arriving, it was clear that Tammy had been abducted. Not only had the friend heard the interaction, Tammy also left her pers in the car. Now it was clear that she was taken in a hurry and did not appear that robbery was the motive, since all her valuables were left. Yeah, she didn't have time to close her car door, for God's sake, Like, there was definitely, I mean, all the points, all the signs were pointing this. They didn't have to question this whatsoever. Exactly. Now, along with her broken glasses, car and purse, they found an open pocket knife and a black baseball cap that did not belong to Tammy. They started contacting family and friends to see if they had seen Tammy, but nobody knew where she was. Everyone, as you can imagine, was very concerned because it was clear that Tammy was in harm's way. They continued to search for her, and they tried to get the word out to the community with no luck, leaving the community questioning as to what happened to Tammy. It's not like they had Facebook and they could just jump on the social media and say, hey, somebody's missing. Not to mention this is she's only eighteen years old. I mean, she's still basically a child. Fledgling. Yes, the Stude's been obsessed with fledgling because of fledgling. Almost drowned in our pool. Yes, we were out swimming a couple of weekends ago before we went on vacation. And this is after the hailstorm. We sound like we have champagne problems stores. I mean, you're making it sound we sell like assholes. Anyways, we were swimming at our pool next to the hot tab, next to the hot time. They're the cabanaana. They now it has holes in it. Can you imagine the horror the lifestyle we're living right now? This is horrible. Anyways, So the bird like starts hopping. We're all swimming the birds like hop pop pop, and he's just coming right on over into the pool. About the fall in, because this was after the hell storm. So I'm assuming the nest and everything, I mean everything was destroyed. All of our plants and everything that we had been watering and tindering and everything just ripped. It looked like someone just took like a machine gun and just shot up our fence and all of our plants. It was bad. So anyway, so this little fledgling came in, so but we looked it up. We put them in a little area area like thing, and then I looked up and it's like, no, you should just leave, put them someplace safe and the parents will come back because they actually just leave them like that so they can learn how to survive. This one he's probably dead now because he's about to drown in a pool if we hadn't intervene. But if you touch them, it's like a myth though. If you touch them, it says that the like people think the bird's not gonna come back, but that's not true. I read quite a bit up on fledgling stew So anyway, she's a fledged Thanks thanks for the sidetrack on the fledgling thing, because you you're been talking about fledglings so much. I said, Oh, the baby's hair looks funny, like when those birds it sticks up, you know, like like a fledgling. This has been going on for quite some time with you, so you believe that all the tons of people that listen to this podcast need to know our inner workings. Yes, Oka of where fledgling? Yes, because it's a weird thing to say. Anyways, my point is is that Tammy is very young. She's eighteen, about to term nineteen. I mean that's I feel like people were a little more mature back then. But still these eighteen year olds today, they can't make it. Man tough out there. Yeah, Okay, getting back to the case, because it's about to get serious. It would only take a day and a half to get those answers that the community was searching for. On March eighth, nineteen ninety, what would have been Tammy's nineteenth birthday, which is absolutely terrible. Yes, the body of a young woman was found in the woods near River Road by a utility worker. The woman was partially clothed, her sweatpants were pulled down, she was severely beaten, and they were able to quickly identify the body as that of eighteen year old Tammy Bowers. An autopsy report would later reveal that she had been stabbed in the chest and neck. Now, while those rooms were wounds rooms. While those wounds were not fatal, were non fatal. Same thing. Tammy had sustained blunt forced injuries to her face, neck, and head. Her skull, upper jaw and lower jawbone were fractured. There was also a blunt injury on Tammy's upper spine, dislocating and fracturing her first and second vertebrae. Now, along with seamen, they were able to recover hairs from Tammy as well as on her body, and a green shirt not belonging to Tammy with bloodstains on it, so this was a shirt laying near her body. The murder weapon was also recovered. They believed she had been beaten with a log that lay nearby. During the autopsy, the medical examiners also collected blood and urine samples, strands of hair found on filmed on her left hand and chest. Now, Clipping's fingerprints, a fiber from under her buttocks, and palm prints. That sounds like a brutal way to go. Yeah, yeah, it's pretty bad with a log, for God's sake. Yeah, how many blows do you gotta take. I can't even imagine picking up a log and hitting somebody. That's just crazy. Obviously a man did this. What Yeah, if the seamen didn't give it away the terrible way she died. Did women are quiet? I don't know. I was watching a Dayline episode after you went to bed last night, and a woman did it and she was brutal. Oh well, sometimes we could be bitches. Police began retracing Tammy's movements that day. They started with the phone call to Tammy's mom. She told police that they were discussing the plans for Tammy's birthday, which was two days away from when she was found. Tammy also discussed with her mom about her ex boyfriend, Kevin Fonteneau. Tammy had broken up with Kevin Reese and trust a font No Stu. Are you sure all those font Nos we got listening to us. We didn't go to font No Dentistry and we really liked them. I'm sorry, but the doctor's out here are terrible. The providers, the providers. We can't even get a real pediatrician for our children. We have a provider anyway, Let's get back to Tammy. I'm kidding. They're very nice and they probably know more than the doctors do. We just really liked our doctor about out in pediatrician over there. Yeah, we just really liked our pediatrician. No, No, these ladies are really good. They're really good. It's my doctor that I'm having. It's Stu's doctor. Stu has a provider and he is like fresh out of what is it. I don't know. They're like nurse practitioners or whatever, but he has no like our pediatrician. The ladies that run our pediatrician office, they're providers so they're not doctors, so they have like advanced nursing degrees and stuff like that, but they've spent like twenty years in pediatrics. Stu went and had to go find a doctor, and like he had to. We had to like google this stuff and like I was having a Google stuff for medication, be like, yeah, this is what you need. This is and then he'd tell the he'd tell the provider. I swear to god, that red muscle I know there's a red Mustang revving outside of our house. Just sounds like a car farting in a coffee can. I don't think they work. They just drive around the neighborhood all. No, I don't know what they do this Jesus take the wheel where we'll probably be here another year or two, but not going to miss it when we go. We like our house a lot. That's why we bought it so we could stay. Yes, we could stay there. So we don't go do anything fun like spend money on eating out or anything. We just sit at our house. That's why we have the pool, because the neighborhood pools are a disaster. Don't get me started on the neighborhood group and the neighborhood everything. Don't even get me started. Stue. I don't even get in the neighborhood groups. I know you don't, but I like to be in the neighborhood group because drama. Yeah, it's drama because one of your reality shows aren't on. You get yeah, because then, like today, someone was like, we're having people over, can whoever owns this car come and move it? Because I guess it was because calmon courtesies. If you're in a neighborhood, the cars that park on the road, you park in front of your own home, but I guess they parked in front of somebody else's home and someone was like, good luck getting her to move. That's a public parking space. Got allan jumping in there. Yeah, so I need to go back and check and see what happened. But sounds like that. I don't think the car is going to get a group. I almost got kicked out of Oh yes, I got madness STU almost got kicked out of the Paris Busy Visiting Paris group or whatever because someone we were talking about going to. Anyways, it's a long story. We'll save that one for later because we're going to talk about Tammy's mother telling the story of Kevin going over to Tammy's home after the breakup and he got into an altercation with her, which ended in Tammy scratching him up. I guess she's threw some some cat claws at him now. After the incident, Tammy stated that she was afraid of Kevin because he was so upset about the breakup. Tammy was nearing the end of her rope with him and she was ready to go to the police and file a restraint in order over his behavior. With this information, police are now thinking that they might have their guy. They bring in Kevin for questioning and immediately notice he has scratches on his body, similar to what you would see in defensive wounds from an altercation. They asked him his whereabouts that night, and he gives them an alibi. They continue to question Kevin, but he denies any involvement. He hands them a sample for them to test his blood type. And back then they didn't really have the DNA testing, so they could only test the seamen to see if it secreted the blood type and test for a blood type. Yeah, that's the secretor non secret thing. Mm hmm. But yeah, but they knew back then in the police circles, in the law enforcement circles, they knew this technology was, the science was advancing, it just wasn't there yet. So they were It's like they knew, like, maybe it's not gonna be useful now, but someday in the near future, they're gonna be able to test all this stuff. So they did collect everything and store it properly. So after getting that alibi, they ran down what he's where he said he was, and they did verify that it was in fact true. Stupid, so you can trust a fond no if they are always the boyfriend or the spouse. Well, apparently he like beat her though, So he's not great. He's not great. Do we know that the depends of wounds came from that altercation? Or was he was he in an altercation? Oh? Those came from that altercation. That altercation was was was just before she went missing. So that's why he was highly suspectus suspicious, suspectful. Sure, I thought she just scratched him up. Highly sus as the as the as whatever the new generation is that they call, is it the gen Z's what are you a gen I'm a millennial. Sorry, I'm an older millennial. I like to call myself a grand millennial. That's a grandma millennial. It's where we skipped the midlife crisis of the boomer and we just the millennials go straight into like grandmall activities and whatnot. Yes, and tea and reedy. But you have to post it on Instagram. Let me do it. Huh, but you post you do it. If you don't post it there, it didn't happen. Okay, So they ran it down. Kevin's good. They also ran that blood type and Kevin was not a match and he was cleared. At this point, they continued to look for suspects and were starting to lose hope that they would find her killer. They continued to receive tips, one from a truck driver who calls seeing a black man pull up near Tammy in a Ford to Reno around that time. Do you know what a Ford Trino is? To I do? What does it look like? It looks like a Ford Terreno? What is it Ford Charino? Look Is it like a sedan, Yeah, it's kind of like a sedan ish car. I think it's like a twudor like a little hatchbag. No, you don't have to look it up. Just never mind. I was going to show you what it looks like. I don't want you to show me any things to You've seen it. Nothing whipping out anything. I've seen enough. So this matched with evidence that they found at the scene, because they believed that the hairs that they found belonged to a black male. So things are adding up. So now they've at least narrowed it down to they're looking for a black male that drives a Ford Terreenum. However, this would not do them any good. It would not. No, no, it would not because years would pass with no new leads. Then in the early two thousands, a serial killer in the Baton Rouge area would emerge. It was not until two thousand and three that they knew that the serial killer was a black mail man named Derek. You say mail, You couldn't decide you're gonna say mail or man? Sure that's what you just said. You were like mail, and then you didn't. Okay, Well you gotta call me on on them, because because somebody else is calling you out out there, and I just want them to be aware that we are aware, that you're aware, and then you're gonna shame me, podcash, I'm going to podcast shame. The family thought possibly he could have been the one to murder Tammy, as she was killed near the time frame that he was active in, which was from nineteen ninety two to two thousand and three. Yeah, so this is nineteen ninety so easily he could have This could have been an early kill like something easy seeing the seeing some a woman by herself near a payphone late at night and just grabbed her. Because a black serial killer is very rare, rare. Yes. Now with the advancements in DNA, they were able to run the samples that they had. However, Derek Tudley was not a match to Tammy's killer. The family would have to continue to wait. The DNA sample was a bench continually ran through the code of system until finally, in December two thousand and six, they had a hit. Full body shivers, full body shivers. I think we got to make that a saying full body shivers. Yes, now it came back, just started saying it randomly. We have not plagiarized us from anybody and whatso came up with that on our own? Yeah, the original thought it came back to a man named Herman. Some thoughts spelled thot that ho over there. Wow, I'm gonna go there. It came back to a man named Herman Fraser. He was thirty nine years old and lived in California, but he was from Ascension Parish. Come on, Herman and nobody. Herman's don't kill anybody. You think he's related to German, Uh, German, the Herman or whatever? Her German? No, No, what's that Herman the frog? I don't know who Herman is. Sherman, Herman, Herman, the Sherman. There's a song, there's a Sherman and mister Peabody. But there's a song called like Herman the Sherman, Herman the Frog, Herman the Frog. Sure you want to go with it? Herman the Turtle. Okay, we expected more from you. Herman. I was gonna say, do you think he's related to Jamie Fraser like from Outlander? Yeah? Oh you really want to go there? No, No, I'm so annoyed. We finished that. We like we So we had started watching this years ago, and due to my work schedule, we would miss I would be gone for a while, and then due to my work schedule and being annoyed with stew I'd be gone and we went able to finish the series. So then we just recently started it since season one, episode one watched all the way through then had then we ran out of episodes on Netflix, so then we had to sign up for Showtime to get the other season. And I was like, oh, I was because we knew they were coming out with the last season. So I'm like, oh, we've waited long enough. By the time we finished the seventh season or Stars or whatever, then they should be putting out the eighth season and we'll be all caught up and stuff. No, we finished that. Apparently I've been working on this eighth season for like two years. They just started filming. But they did go to the Taylor Swift concert. Who did the Outlander crew? They're gonna put it in the series. No, but they were filming it whenever she was in Edinburgh, so they went, and he's like, I'm gonna steal Taylor Swift from old Travis Kelsey. Who did Jamie Kadie Steeler? No? No, I don't even think she met him? What a what A? Well, maybe she did, I'm sure they apparently, though she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to say her voice, which makes sense, yeah, because it's already terrible as it is. Yeah, she can't really interact with people and stuff. So anyways, hopefully she met him. She really missed an opportunity. If she didn't, I all have to apply apologize to everybody because that's my fault that Taylor Swift came up. I did not know that talking about Outlander would lead to Taylor Swift. STU. It's like the Seven Degrees of Kevin Bacon, it all leads back to Taylor Swift. I thought it was Kelly Clarkson. No, Kelly Clarkson is the lesbian version of Seven Degrees of Kevin Bacon's Well, yeah, for the ones that I know. Anyway, they love the Kelly clarks They love the Kelly Clarkson. And she's going to go see Atlantis Harring Houston here shortly, Yeah, don't come at us. Okay, this is a joke with our friends about Kelly Clarkson. Yes, which we all think she might be. We are they They think that she might, she hopes. No. The new one though, is this Morgan Wade from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. That's the hot ticket. You shut up, I know. And she's going to be playing with the Morrison I know you don't, Stuart, So anyway, all right, just we're getting canceled now, so just go on. They got mister Herman Stewart, we just did this. I can't believe you would do such a thing. I know. Trouble now. Herman Fraser was arrested in California transported back to Louisiana to face charges of abduction, rape, and first degree murder. When Herman was brought in, he quickly named an accomplice by the name of Talbert Morris Junior. Herman said that him and Talbert were driving around that night and came upon Tammy by happenstance. That means just by accident, Kara, Yeah, just so you know, they in that moment decided to attack her. Herman said Talbert helped abduct her and then raped her first, and then herman raped her. This is just terrible what these men did. Call them that they then beat her to death and left her body, left her to die. Basically, Talbert was arrested and charged with Tammy's rape and murder. They ran the DNA evidence found on that green shirt and they were able to confirm that it did belong to Talbert and Herman. Hermann pled guilty on September twenty one, twenty ten, to second degree kidnapping, forcible rape, and manslaughter. He was sentenced to fifty years imprisonment with hard labor, no chance of parole in Louisiana. You get the hard labor, you'd be working out in them fields. Oh we're in Angola, Angola. Yeah. Now. As part of his plea deal, he was required to testify against Talbert Morris. Talbert went on trial and was found guilty on all charges on September thirteenth, twenty twelve. He really thought he was going to go on trial and get away with this idiot. Just take the take the plea, yeah, and save everybody some time. We got your DNA and your blood. Yeah, everything's now. He was sentenced to two consecutive life terms along with thirty years without the chance of pearl. So him and his buddy Herman are out there in Angola most likely doing whatever, digging a hole. I mean, they should have got the death penalty, but well, I don't know what the rules were at the time. You know, some weird things were happening there, like eighties nineties with death sentence. Yeah, thank god, I adhere to the punishment laws that were on the books at the time that you committed the murder, even though they didn't catch you till years later. Yeah. Anyways, this goes to show you, though, the Talburt guy got way worse because he went on trial. So if you ever murdered somebody, just take the plea deal. Just do it. If they got you, yeah, yeah, just take the plea deal. So not that we advocate you murdering anybody, do it. Not that we advocate you murder. We don't advocate it. We're just telling you what you should do it. After you do it. We got to put that in there so that we don't get sued. I'm yesing we're not going to get sued too. Nobody's listening to us. You just said nobody's listening to us, so I said we had tens of listeners. Okay, Well, if you're thinking about killing someone, please make sure we're the first interview, the first interview. Yeah, don't be giving it to Dateline. Don't be giving it to I Am a Killer on Netflix. Yeah, I don't know that. Probably get a lot of money from them. No, they don't pay them at all for that stuff. They don't know. They're not paying the killers, not putting nothing in their commissary. That's terrible that they don't get paid anyways. All right, Stu, you have a yell need jesus I do, so we can hurry it before these children wake up awaken. Yeah, we're about to get in under the gun with all this, uh, with this whole episode that we did it in peace. Well, they're all asleep except for the three year olds. She doesn't take a nap, so, but we did. I did put her in our bed watching her favorite show, which is Mika and Blippy and dino at she's obsessed with dinosaurs and so and then she also she never gets her like her pad or whatever unless we're traveling. She's telling people what terrible parents we are. She got it today. We don't allow our children to have any screen time whatsoever. They only do education, they have screen time. I said she doesn't get her pad because she was saying that we don't allow our children to have screen time. Oh yeah, strictly ed she learned from Meka. She won't learned about Meka from because we acted out in the play Interactive Parenting interact who plays Meka? I do you know what's a shame? Though? They just interchange Meka Blippy Like watching one show and they'll just put a new person in there playing Meeka. I'm like, what they should do that in the eighties and sitcoms all the time, they just swap somebody out and be like, yeah, this is the so and so now so yes, She's like they haven't. That's a different Meka from the series to the dinosaur one. And then the Blippy is the same, Like you got a watching he'll be he'll be switched out on you? So anyway again or y'all need Jesus. Coming to us from the New York Post per usue because they do have a plethora of funny stories. We have A drugged up driver hands over bag of meth and fentanyl pills and three thousand dollars cash when cops asking for his ID. Florida or not Florida. Wait, what was it? You know? I was listening to you? Wow, you never do. Drugged up driver hands over bag of meth, venting all pills and three thousand cash when cops asked him for his ID. Just hands it over, Just hands it over. I'm gonna go with not Florida. A Kentucky driver. Yeah. Brought to us by Patrick Riley from the Washington Post May eleven four. Now Patrick got jokes because he starts his piece off with what a myth? That's messed up? That's mepped up. A Kentucky man pulled a bag of drugs and a wad of cash when police officers asked him for his ID. David Ratliff, forty three, was passed out behind the wheel of his car on Friday in the parking lot of a video store on US Route four. Video store, that's the bigger story. Where's this video store. I'm gonna let you know that it's probably not like a Blockbuster. I don't care if it is porn on in the videos. Who is getting their Who is getting their porn or any other type of entertainment from a video store? Some of them don't want to put their idea out there to get it for free off the internet. If that's a rule in Kentucky too, I don't know. How would you know about these laws in any other states. That's why I keep moving from state to state. We got to leave Texas now evidently too. So Now this is about This town is about one hundred miles south of Lexington. When police arrived at the scene, they asked a drugged out ratler for his ID. He basically woke up whipped out a baggie of meth pills and a large sum of US currency. I'm glad that he had to mention it was US currency. What other what's he going to do? Pull out a bag of euros and maybe could have been a foreign method. Now police confirmed that he had nine grams of myth, several fentanyl pills, and three thousand and thirty four dollars in cash. He was arrested on charges of trafficking and a controlled substance and public intoxication. He was taking the Clay County Detention Center, where he may or may not currently be it. Let that be a lesson to the kids too, that if you're going to deal drugs, don't get high on your own supply because you'll pass out behind the wheel and then when a cop ask you for your ID and be so fucked up, you'll hand over the drugs and the cash that you were just hand over the ID. That's the Morald story. Well, he was so high, I didn't know what he was doing. Actually, I don't like this guy. He has that fentanyl which is killing everybody these days. Yeah. So if you see old David Ratlift, laugh at him and then helped this son a bitch put him in a drug program or something, help work, Stewart, then none of it works. None of it works work for me, like five or six times. The relapse rate is not great. It's not good. This is we're a broken country, Stewart. We're broken. That's why we stay home because it's crazy out there. Unless I'm going to get free stuff, yes, free neighborhood stuff. Yeah, because if you, because they'll put stuff up for selling the neighborhood. But if you wait long enough, they get frustrated and they just give it away. Because I do similar things, like you want to buy these children's clothes and then nobody does. I'm like, just come take the bag please. Yes, so we participate in the trading trash around this neighborhood. Yes, I could. I get good stuff though, really look at them, them chairs. I got out there for twenty five bucks. All that lawn furniture or the outdoor furniture twenty five dollars. You shut up. Yeah, Stuart, you know I only paid twenty five dollars for that. Yeah. No, I had to go pick it up. It's one of my proudest moments. It's staying here when we leave. What that furniture that won't make the mo it'll fall apart, that'll make the move. That won't make it move. One of the chairs and the table will. We'll sell it for ten dollars. That's a pretty good uh ate white chair, one table with a little automan. All right, Well, I think the two year old he's going to be two on Thursday, So the two almost two year old is up he's doing his oil like so I guess we will see you next time. Bye, everyone, say bye ste Don't you know it's bad to be superstious find nothing else is working and it's really learning and sack. This's worry, can
