- 0:00How would we feel if half of our stock portfolio went away?
- 0:05What if we had a major market crash because we are in a
- 0:09bubble? We need to pay attention double
- 0:12because we are in major big bubble bubble double trouble.
- 0:16Wait till you see this data that I'm going to share with you.
- 0:20It is absolutely stunning and astounding.
- 0:24We're also going to talk about silver confiscation.
- 0:27We all often talk about gold confiscation, which occurred in
- 0:30the 1930s, but I uncovered, thanks to the some help from one
- 0:34of our fellow basement dwellers, some startling information about
- 0:38when silver was also confiscated.
- 0:41Could it happen again? And of course, we're going to do
- 0:43a big update on the silver price.
- 0:45Hey guys, let's dig in right now.
- 0:47Could our stock investments drop by 50%?
- 0:50Are we in this massive, massive double?
- 0:53Let's run out to the Kobe C letter and wait until you see
- 0:56this. Be prepared.
- 0:58This is not good news, says Breaking.
- 1:00The S&P 500 market capitalization to world GDP
- 1:05ratio officially hits a new all time high of 46%.
- 1:10I understand just hearing that isn't going to startle you, but
- 1:14when you see the graph that we're going to look at here in
- 1:16one second, it is crazy. Over the last 15 years, that
- 1:21ratio has quadrupled. This percentage is now even
- 1:25higher than the 39% recorded at the 2000 theyear2000.com bubble
- 1:34peak. Again, this compares the S&P
- 1:36500, the big index, right? The capitalization, the value of
- 1:41that to the world GDP. Additionally, the S&P 500 now
- 1:45has a market cap that's over 50 trillion for the first time in
- 1:48history in blue. Meanwhile, the US stock market
- 1:52cap to USGDP ratio also hit a new record of 205%. the US
- 1:58market has never been bigger. So take a look at this guys.
- 2:02We are in massive. I mean, what is this telling us?
- 2:06This is S&P 500 market cap as a percentage of the world GDP.
- 2:12How big is the United States stock market compared to the
- 2:17entire economy of the world is essentially what this is showing
- 2:21us. And as we can see back in the
- 2:2370s, yeah, it was around 8%, six percent, 8% maybe got up to 15%.
- 2:29Remember the roaring 80s when yuppies were remember that term?
- 2:33Yuppies, wasn't it Yuppies, young, urban, professional,
- 2:37whatever. That was 15%.
- 2:40Then we had this.com bubble. Here, let me draw this.
- 2:43This this is so crazy. And and there's a big, big
- 2:48warning sign. wehadthe.com bubble.
- 2:51OK, I'll circle that in red right around here.
- 2:54Right around the year 2000, we got up to 40%.
- 2:57Then we had the big correction. OK, Now look where we are, 46%.
- 3:03OK, guys, look, this tells us only one thing.
- 3:08We have massive bubble being formed right now in the US stock
- 3:13market. We also know that we've got a
- 3:16debt bubble in the US economy. This will not end well.
- 3:20Look, the potential I'm not trying to be, you know, the, the
- 3:24Sky's falling bad news guy or anything, but you know, a lot of
- 3:29people in the United States have blindly put money into four O 1
- 3:32KS. They've never experienced a
- 3:35painful period. A lot of people my age have only
- 3:38experienced that well, I put money in my 4 O1 Ki don't have
- 3:42to do any work right. I just blindly put this money
- 3:45into the market. Not everybody, not everybody,
- 3:48but most people blindly put the money into the market.
- 3:51They don't really have any understanding of what they're
- 3:54buying and it only has gone up and up and up and up.
- 3:58And when we look at this chart, right when we look at this chart
- 4:02again one last time, we are evaluation which are higher than
- 4:08what we had duringthe.com bubble burst.
- 4:11We could be in for some bad times.
- 4:13I don't think that means bad times for the silver and gold
- 4:17price. Hold on, let me get back to you.
- 4:18I forgot the most important thing, guys, thank you for being
- 4:21here. Thank you for being part of the
- 4:24basement, OK? I know through the ups and
- 4:26downs, we always come together. We love gold and silver.
- 4:29It's a big deal. You're here.
- 4:31You are welcome here. Share comments in the comments
- 4:34section. Please subscribe to the channel.
- 4:36Give the video a thumbs up. And that's all I'm going to beg
- 4:39for today. OK, Let's get back to this
- 4:42because there's more. There's more.
- 4:43There's more. There's more.
- 4:45Let's go. Oops.
- 4:48Here we go. All right, man, I was really
- 4:51struggling before I came on this live stream.
- 4:54I don't know what was going on. And then the camera stopped, the
- 4:57microphone stopped. Hopefully you guys can still see
- 5:00me and hear me. Let's go to this from global
- 5:03market. He put this as a comment at the
- 5:05the AI bubble has grown biggerthanthe2000.com bubble.
- 5:09The top ten S&P 500 stocks forward price to earnings ratio
- 5:14hit about 30X, much higher than the 25 X seen during the 1990s
- 5:20dot com boom. The market has almost never been
- 5:24so expensive. This is from the Global Market
- 5:28investor looks like a sub stack, I think I don't know anyway,
- 5:32yeah so the sub stack, why don't I see sub stack?
- 5:35Well, anyway, doesn't doesn't really matter.
- 5:37Let's go down here and look at this chart, OK, the current AI
- 5:42bubble here we are in 2024. This is the forward 12 month
- 5:46forward price to earnings ratio. The green bar are the top 10
- 5:51companies. Look at that guys, look at that
- 5:53OK, look where it was at the tech bubble.
- 5:56This is another another data point to look at even if you
- 6:00exclude the top ten. But that right there is the AI
- 6:03bubble. So we looked at the market cap
- 6:06of the S&P 500 compared to the world economy.
- 6:09This looks at the price to earnings ratio, which is a
- 6:12critical metric we use to value the stock market.
- 6:17But nobody cares. Let me tell you something.
- 6:19Let me tell you something. Unless you're talking about
- 6:22silver and gold plus nobody else cares.
- 6:27People only look at price. They don't look at value, OK?
- 6:31The all they look at is what's the price?
- 6:33What's the price of Bitcoin? What's the price of Apple stock?
- 6:35What's the price of NVIDIA stock?
- 6:38They don't dig in. They don't do what you do, which
- 6:40is dig in and just say what's the real value behind this?
- 6:44You know why? Because that takes using this
- 6:46thing up here and most people, not you, right?
- 6:50Not you. You're you're a digger if you're
- 6:52here in the basement. I got news for you.
- 6:54Your intellectual actual horsepower is a little bit
- 6:56higher than the average bear. OK?
- 6:59You don't You don't enjoy listening to discussions like
- 7:02this. Unless you're a thinker, you're
- 7:04intelligent, all right? Most people just want to watch
- 7:07TV. They don't care, right?
- 7:09All they care about is price. Oh, it went up.
- 7:11It went up. Bitcoin went to 100,000.
- 7:13OK, well, what's the real value? You're the type person that
- 7:17wants to dig in and find the real value.
- 7:20OK, The cherry on top of all of this, and then we're going to do
- 7:25a, we're going to do a review of where we are with the silver and
- 7:28gold price and we're going to talk about silver seizure.
- 7:31But the cherry on top of all of this is that all of this
- 7:34overvalued stock market, stock prices, all that alone are
- 7:39crazy, right? We are headed for in real terms,
- 7:46we are headed for very challenging times in the
- 7:49markets. Now, on top of it all, they
- 7:51measure it in paper dollars. They measure the whole thing's
- 7:54measured in paper money. This right Federal Reserve
- 7:58notes, which a lot of people would also argue is another
- 8:02overvalued Ponzi Fiat, whatever you want to call it, paper money
- 8:06system. It's really scary what's going
- 8:09on right now in the world. Very, very scary.
- 8:13I know. You know, I know, right?
- 8:15That's why we decide to invest in the precious metals.
- 8:18It can be hard, it can be challenging, no doubt about it,
- 8:22OK. But again, right, Most of these
- 8:25other people, they can't even balance their checkbooks.
- 8:28A lot of them more or less understand what's really going
- 8:31on in the markets, what's really going on in the world economy.
- 8:34I'm not putting anybody down. To each their own, but we when
- 8:38we dig in, we're not crazy. OK, this is real.
- 8:42Let's go out and we got to go on our daily field trip.
- 8:45It's been a couple days. I got one a few days without
- 8:48going out here. Let's see if this is this is
- 8:52real. the US national debt, 36 trillion oh boy, interest on the
- 8:57debt right passed over a trillion dollars per year.
- 9:01The budget deficit. These things are real.
- 9:04These are big problems. There is no solution to this.
- 9:08Even if, even if Trump and Elon Musk and, and, and Vivek
- 9:14Ramaswami get this under control, right, we're spending 2
- 9:18trillion more right now per year than we're bringing in.
- 9:21Even if they make some cuts in it, right, they're likely not
- 9:24going to get rid of, let's not, let's be real, the federal
- 9:27budget deficit, all right? The, the, the debt is continuing
- 9:31to skyrocket. It is.
- 9:33There's no way out. Let's run over and take a look
- 9:35at our one of our favorite numbers to check on.
- 9:38Of course, it continues up the dollar to silver ratio.
- 9:42We've almost made it to 1100. We'll have a big party, basement
- 9:46dwellers when we hit that. But again, this ratio is going
- 9:49to show us it was working. Yeah, it's working again.
- 9:52Hold on. So when you're on the US debt
- 9:54clock, guys, if you hover over like right now, you see my
- 9:57yellow finger hovering over the dollar to silver ratio, it gives
- 10:02us the official definition. The US dollar to silver ratio is
- 10:05the year over year increase in the USM 2 money supply, right?
- 10:11The increase in the money supply divided by the yearly world
- 10:15production of silver oz. So that tells us that for each
- 10:19one ounce of silver being produced in the world, the M2
- 10:22money supply, which measures basically all the bank money,
- 10:27all the liquid money that is out there is increasing by almost
- 10:31$1100. Today is the 7th of December.
- 10:37We missed a day. Hold on here, we'll just fix
- 10:40that. And uh oh, I forgot boy,
- 10:44somebody got really mad at me the other day because I put the
- 10:47wrong number in there. 1091. All right, we're keeping a tally
- 10:51here as this explodes. I just want to share with you
- 10:55that when we started doing this back on October 21st, right, the
- 11:00dollar to silver ratio was 729. In just less than two short
- 11:07months, we've gone from 7:29 to darn near $1100.
- 11:12We'll continue to keep an eye on that.
- 11:14We are not saying that the silver price should be $1100,
- 11:18but we are saying that the government is printing make
- 11:21believe paper Unicorn fart dust money and eventually the true
- 11:25price of silver, and gold for that matter will be realized
- 11:29when the real physical market overtakes the paper manipulated
- 11:34COMEX LBMA market. And just as one more since I
- 11:39forgot to go there for a day, one more point to show you on
- 11:42the US debt clock over on the right hand side near the bottom
- 11:45below the dollar to silver ratio, we have the paper to
- 11:49silver ratio which is climbing, not climbing at the rate that
- 11:52the dollar to silver rate. The dollar to silver ratio guys
- 11:56as the as the debt spiral worsens in the United States,
- 12:00this will continue to explode. I wouldn't doubt that a year
- 12:04from now we're looking at 3 or $4000 of paper printed money for
- 12:09each ounce of silver being being produced.
- 12:13Is we, if we look at the five year average, it's at 1500.
- 12:17So it's been higher in the past. But if we go down here to the
- 12:20paper to silver ratio, this measures for us the amount of
- 12:25paper make believe contracts being being traded on the COMEX
- 12:31and the LBMA for each real ounce of silver again right levered to
- 12:36the hilt. So when this real market, when
- 12:38the real market overtakes the paper market for silver and for
- 12:43gold for that matter, which is happening right now, happening
- 12:47right before our very eyes as the Shanghai Gold Exchange,
- 12:51right? The Chinese market for silver
- 12:53and gold continue to grow in dominance, continue as the
- 12:57Chinese and the Indians are sucking all the physical metal
- 13:02from the West to the east. So when it happens, it will be
- 13:07it'll it'll happen quickly, right?
- 13:09They're going to keep fighting, fighting, fighting like they're
- 13:11doing now, probably near the end of the battle for the Comex and
- 13:16the LBMA. And when the physical price
- 13:18overtakes the paper market, it's going to happen very quickly.
- 13:22It's going to be a very emotionally charged period of
- 13:26time for us who, you know, have spent years following the silver
- 13:31and the gold price. What about let's look at the
- 13:35current price action in gold and silver.
- 13:36I know it's been frustrating. All right, we'll do a review.
- 13:39We're going to look at the charts.
- 13:41Here's what I wrote down the current current gold and silver
- 13:44price action for some can be a little frustrating, but it's
- 13:47necessary. We are in a consolidation period
- 13:51right now. I've, I've read all the top
- 13:54analyst, I've listened to what people are saying, the people
- 13:57that and everybody has a bit of a different opinion, but there's
- 14:00one big common thread that we're hearing as we look at the gold
- 14:04and silver price. We're in a period of
- 14:06consolidation. We're building a base right now,
- 14:09and we've done that over the last year or so.
- 14:12As we've moved up and up and up, we've hit the same periods where
- 14:15we're building a base from which we can move to much higher
- 14:19prices in the metals. Let's go out here.
- 14:22You know what? First, let's go to channel
- 14:24sponsor Pendex and get an update on the price.
- 14:27I'm going to press the gold triangle, the Pendex magic
- 14:31button and see where we landed yesterday.
- 14:33Silver $30.99 Come on guys, couldn't we just bought a little
- 14:39more silver, so we got it at 31, we'll say $31.00 an ounce in
- 14:43silver. Gold 2635.
- 14:47Hey, I want to say thank you and recommend that you check out
- 14:51channel sponsor Pembex next time you are looking to buy some
- 14:54gold, silver or platinum group metals.
- 14:57They're going to give you a great selection of products.
- 15:00They're going to give you ultra competitive pricing so that you
- 15:04will get more pedal for your money.
- 15:07Do your own comparison shopping, OK, And on top of that, probably
- 15:11the most important thing is they're a company you can trust.
- 15:14Overwhelming positive response from our community.
- 15:18People sending me emails, messages saying thank you to pin
- 15:24backs for providing such a great service.
- 15:26And and before we go to the charts, major warning, I'm
- 15:31serious about this. And this is not a plug for pen
- 15:34backs, OK, But if you ever please, big warning you or
- 15:39anyone you love, if you ever decide to convert an IRA into
- 15:44precious metals, there are some highly advertised companies.
- 15:49OK, I'll leave it at that. Highly advertised with celebrity
- 15:52endorsements that that offer you these IRA conversions.
- 15:57I'm not going to put any particular company down or say
- 16:00anything negative about these companies, but I will tell you
- 16:03this, please be very, very careful.
- 16:06There's no such thing. I see some of these companies
- 16:09saying if you act now, you can get $10,000 of free silver or
- 16:1315,000. I think one of them even said I
- 16:16got news for you, Buttercup. And I say, Buttercup, because I
- 16:19love you. I care about you.
- 16:22There's nobody that's going to give you $10,000 of free silver.
- 16:26There's nobody who's going to give you $5000 of free silver.
- 16:30There is nobody who's going to give you any free silver.
- 16:34If you're getting silver one way or another, you are paying for
- 16:38it. And if they're, I'm just saying,
- 16:40and if a company is trying to, let's say I don't, I'm trying to
- 16:45think of a nice way to say this. Well, anyway, look, be careful,
- 16:50OK? Take your time.
- 16:52Don't get pressured into anything if you ever, cuz you're
- 16:56usually talking about large sums of money.
- 16:58Look at all your different options.
- 17:00Compare how much actual gold and silver you can get from the
- 17:04different options. Because I'm just going to tell
- 17:07you, and I've heard Andy Schickman say this, I've heard
- 17:09there's some unsavory characters out there, OK?
- 17:12And a lot of times they'll do very confusing things like sell
- 17:16you these off weight silver coins or gold coins.
- 17:19And when you and when you really do the math and figure out how
- 17:23many actual what you really care about, right?
- 17:26One of the key things you want to look at, I'm not giving
- 17:28financial advice, but one of the key things that you want to look
- 17:31at is how much, how many actual ounces of silver, How many
- 17:35actual ounces of gold? There are reports you can Google
- 17:40at a people that have really gotten bad deals.
- 17:42So Long story short, be careful if you ever convert an IRA, OK?
- 17:49Be suspicious. Talk to all the different
- 17:52options. You may benefit from talking to
- 17:55the guys at Pimbex as well and seeing what they can do for you
- 17:59in terms of how many of the of real ounces of gold and silver
- 18:03they can get you for, for the same amount of money that you
- 18:06may be converting from an IRA. I'm not giving financial advice,
- 18:10I'm just telling you please, please, please you or anyone you
- 18:13love. Always be careful with that.
- 18:15Woo, that was long. I didn't mean to go that long on
- 18:17that one. Let's go look at the gold price
- 18:19and silver price. Oh, it's so frustrating.
- 18:22OK, this is silver futures on Yahoo Finance.
- 18:28This is a down here in the bottom left you see a six month
- 18:31chart of silver and I saw something very interesting on
- 18:34this chart. OK.
- 18:36Basically from here to here, OK, for the last month, OK.
- 18:45And I'm going to get rid of that.
- 18:46But what I have, where I have circled there, remember that
- 18:49because for the last month right from about where my plus sign is
- 18:54to where it is now, the silver price has really been trading in
- 18:59a super narrow range. Like basically from in the
- 19:03futures market about 3150 down to about 3050, I mean in a $1.00
- 19:09range when and it's weird because if you notice we've had
- 19:12some volatility right up a buck, down a buck up a buck.
- 19:16Now the good news is, excuse me, that right now we're at 3150 in
- 19:22the futures market, OK? So we are on a bit of a back of
- 19:25an uptrend. I want to point out also we've
- 19:28been went through some other periods of time like this, like
- 19:32where you see my, my plus sign there about another month from
- 19:36about mid-september through mid-october ish, right before we
- 19:41went on some big moves. If we zoom out a little more and
- 19:45look at it on a one year basis, there we go, right, there's that
- 19:49period, see my plus sign from there to there that we've been
- 19:52moving through. We did that back in, in the
- 19:57beginning of the year. We consolidate it.
- 19:59Remember that was the wedge, OK? That went on for a couple months
- 20:04from about the beginning of the year all the way through the
- 20:08end. So about two months where we
- 20:10just traded sideways. So it's not unusual, but I want
- 20:14to point out to you guys that back then less than a year ago.
- 20:18Silver was $10.00 an ounce less, OK.
- 20:21And since we're here and we like to be positive, happy, good
- 20:25things, don't forget, OK, if we look at the kind of the March,
- 20:29February low and draw a line, do you see what I see?
- 20:34Right. Let's hope for that.
- 20:37OK, look, it could go like that, no doubt about it.
- 20:42But the trend is definitely up. And when we consider everything
- 20:47going on in the world, the national debt, the demand for
- 20:50silver, everybody I talked to is like, dude, buckle up, 2025 is
- 20:55going to be a crazy year. Now, look, I owe you an apology.
- 20:59One year ago right now, I was saying 2024 was going to be a
- 21:03crazy year. It was a little crazy, but not
- 21:06out of the normal crazy, OK? And that's what we were
- 21:09predicting. I mean, maybe the coil got the
- 21:13spring got coiled up a little more. 2025 is, you know, look,
- 21:18nothing's going away for silver. Mining companies are not
- 21:23suddenly going to be producing more silver that the supply of
- 21:27silver is inelastic. That means not flexible.
- 21:32Anytime there's N at the beginning of the word, it means
- 21:35not. I learned that in Latin or
- 21:36Greek, whatever class in high school, it's inelastic.
- 21:40OK, The the, the, the mining companies can't suddenly start.
- 21:44And we know that the demand for silver is relatively inelastic
- 21:49also, and they're discovering new ways, new uses.
- 21:52Do you know that silver, silver is like the second most used
- 21:56product in the world from a like industrial uses only behind oil.
- 22:01I think it is. I mean, so we're we're in for
- 22:04some good runs. Let's go look at the gold price
- 22:06and see what the gold chart is showing us.
- 22:10Gold's looking good as well. Guys, we are consolidating again
- 22:14right here's let's see we're at six month, around six month
- 22:18chart. There's that high we we reached
- 22:2128 looks like we were we got up the 2800 right, right around
- 22:27Halloween, right then we went down after the election and we
- 22:31hit this 2550 did so the gold rally hit 2550 that seems, but
- 22:37it did. But we're really in this range
- 22:40now what I see on this chart, which is interesting.
- 22:43And we know that what happens to gold will happen to silver.
- 22:50But man, do you see this right? This descending wedge triangle
- 22:55pattern. That's that's being that's bad.
- 22:59Darn it. Hold on here.
- 23:01Let's get my eraser out. OK, We're going to try that
- 23:06again. You know what, I'll just start
- 23:08it from right here. Do you see that?
- 23:10Right? That's the wedge pattern.
- 23:12Triangle pattern. I don't know whatever you want
- 23:13to call it, but it makes sense. As we go forward, the gold price
- 23:17will either have to break up or down.
- 23:19So we're going to keep a close eye on that as well.
- 23:23The consolidation periods, this one month of flatness, I know
- 23:29it's frustrating, but you hear all the top people talk about
- 23:32how healthy it is in any bull market.
- 23:36They have a pullback, right? People selling people that that
- 23:40want to get out, get out. And it builds a new base from
- 23:44which, as we head into 2025, we could have much, much higher
- 23:49silver and gold prices. I mean, I don't know.
- 23:53Do you see silver going to $26? Leave a comment in the comment
- 23:57section. I just don't see it happening.
- 23:59OK? I just don't see it happening.
- 24:01We're going to talk about silver seizure next.
- 24:04But before we do that, I want to say one quick thing and show you
- 24:08guys one way you can protect yourself from silver seizure.
- 24:12Don't forget about The Dirty man safe.
- 24:14I got 1 hanging right here right above me and I tried to put my
- 24:17code on there. Ron 10 that says Ron 10 where
- 24:20you get 10% off. But this is a nifty product.
- 24:24I was very impressed when they sent it to me.
- 24:26Were you right? I put a Unicorn horse in there.
- 24:30Don't do that. Put things like silver and gold
- 24:33in here and you can bury this in your yard.
- 24:36You can be like a pirate. It's a safe that you bury in
- 24:38your yard. I think it's a great Christmas
- 24:40gift. You know, right now everybody's
- 24:42worried, what am I going to get this person for Christmas, That
- 24:45person for Christmas? I think The Dirty man safe is a
- 24:48great gift for any stacker that you may know, right?
- 24:51And then they can be like the pirates.
- 24:53And where did the pirates bury their silver and their gold?
- 24:56They buried it in the ground, right?
- 25:00You be your own pirate if you like.
- 25:01And it's a very, very well made, well constructed.
- 25:05I think they have some patents pending on it.
- 25:07You know, this is not just a couple pieces of PVC glued
- 25:11together. It's much more than that.
- 25:12You can go to their website. Don't forget there's a discount
- 25:15code here. Let me show you.
- 25:16I'll show you a real quick. And then we're going to get the
- 25:18silver seizure. That's a way to protect yourself
- 25:21from getting your silver seas because we did have silver
- 25:24seizure in this country. And where is it?
- 25:27Here it is. There you go.
- 25:29There's dirty man safe. There's the code Ron 10.
- 25:32Here's a couple quick pictures. There's the safe comes with this
- 25:35black tube. So you dig yourself a hole, put
- 25:38the tube in the hole, then you lower your safe into the tube.
- 25:42Then you put the white cap on top.
- 25:44Then you cover it with dirt. Nobody knows where it is and
- 25:46you're like a pirate. You got your own and it's, you
- 25:48know, safe from fire. You can put spare keys in there.
- 25:51Whatever, right? Just you got to remember where
- 25:54you bury it. I think that's the big key.
- 25:57OK, let's talk about silver seizure.
- 26:00I didn't know this. We learned some.
- 26:04There was actually silver. We know about the gold seizure,
- 26:08but there was actually silver seizure.
- 26:10And one of the basement dwellers emailed me yesterday, and I
- 26:14apologize, I'd forgot the name and I wish I'd written it down,
- 26:17but you know who you are here. So this is an old article, but I
- 26:21investigated this and I'll show you another data point on this.
- 26:24Silver was confiscated by Frank Roosevelt two OK the best
- 26:30financial market analysis articles anyone who follows the
- 26:33gold market knows the President Roosevelt confiscated gold in
- 26:371933 with executive order 61 O2 but in yellow.
- 26:41What seems to have been forgotten is that silver was
- 26:45effectively confiscated as well. I've been involved with silver
- 26:49and this was written by Paul Behan for over 25 years and this
- 26:53fact was unknown to me until recently honestly, it was kind
- 26:58of unknown to me until last night as well.
- 27:01In fact, many silver bugs don't even know that this happened.
- 27:05OK, so on August 9th, 1934, sixteen months, 16 months after
- 27:11signing the gold confiscation order, Roosevelt signed an
- 27:14Executive Order 6814 confiscating silver.
- 27:18The order is reproduced in full below.
- 27:21It's an interesting in an interesting comparison to gold,
- 27:25once the silver had been confiscated, it rose by around
- 27:2940%, leaving those law abiding citizens who surrendered their
- 27:33silver worse off financially. OK, we're going to read more
- 27:38about this. Make sure I got you on the right
- 27:40screen. But guys, I had no idea.
- 27:42I, we all know that Roosevelt confiscated gold.
- 27:46Where has this been? This may be news to you as well,
- 27:50right? And then we're going to talk
- 27:51about some new laws that are coming out, hopefully coming to
- 27:54your state soon that will protect you from the federal
- 27:58government potentially attempting again to confiscate
- 28:02your silver. OK, here, I'll just read this.
- 28:05What he This is what Roosevelt did his Executive Order 6814.
- 28:10By virtue of the authority invested in me by the Silver
- 28:13Purchase Act of 1934, and of all other authority vested in me.
- 28:17I, Franklin D Roosevelt, President of the United States,
- 28:20do hereby require the delivery of all silver situated in the
- 28:25continental United States on the effective date here of, by any
- 28:29and all persons owning, possessing, or controlling any
- 28:33such silver, and do hereby require any and all persons
- 28:37owning, possessing, or controlling any such silver to
- 28:41deliver the same in the manner upon the conditions and subject
- 28:44to the exceptions herein contained, Such an action being,
- 28:48in my judgement, necessary to effectuate the policy of the
- 28:52Silver Purchase Act of 1934. OK, you can go read and do some
- 28:58there. There were some exceptions, such
- 29:01as silver coins, whether foreign or domestic.
- 29:04Silver that was less than .8% fine.
- 29:08OK, but most silver we have now is all 99 fine.
- 29:11Any silver mine? Very interesting thought.
- 29:13Is this real? So I went out to Wikipedia who I
- 29:16trust and here's what they said. Executive Order 6814 In August
- 29:23of 1934, President Roosevelt implemented the seizure of all
- 29:28silver situated in the United States with Executive Order 6814
- 29:33requiring the delivery of all silver to the United States for
- 29:37coinage. So basically what I get out of
- 29:39this is Roosevelt, what he wanted was any silver, not
- 29:45coins, not silver that was in jewelry, not silver that was
- 29:49being used for industrial purposes at that time, but like
- 29:53maybe silver like this here, look at this.
- 29:57I haven't shown you silver for a while.
- 29:59That is a nice three ounce silver heart that I bought for
- 30:04my lovely wife Susie for Valentine's Day a few years ago.
- 30:07As I remember, I think I paid like $70.00 for it.
- 30:10It had a pretty good premium on it.
- 30:12So silver must have been around $18 at the time, but that
- 30:15President Roosevelt would have wanted back from me.
- 30:18OK, this this from what the how I read that this beautiful
- 30:25Morgan silver dollar would not have been Can you guys see that
- 30:30would not have been required. Come on, focus these darn
- 30:34cameras. There we go.
- 30:35Look at that man. Who doesn't love a Morgan silver
- 30:38dollar would not have been required.
- 30:40But they see silver now. Where is it?
- 30:44I've got one down here somewhere.
- 30:45This hopefully this doesn't screw up.
- 30:47This would have been seized. One of the pieces of silver that
- 30:51I keep at the house, that's a 10 oz .999 silver bar that would
- 30:56have been seized. OK, Now, this was about 100
- 30:59years ago. We aren't saying that we think
- 31:02this is happening or imminent right now in the United States.
- 31:05But no, who knows what could happen, right?
- 31:08Who knows what could happen, right?
- 31:11They've they seized gold in the past.
- 31:13They seized silver in the past. Next we're going to talk about
- 31:16legislation. This is so important guys, legal
- 31:20tender legislation that would outlaw Missouri, right?
- 31:24What are what are what are legislators in Missouri
- 31:26proposing that they would outlaw any attempt?
- 31:29That's pretty interesting, like how they how they set up the
- 31:32Constitution with silver and gold and allowing states to have
- 31:36these rights to say no, we aren't going to participate in
- 31:40this to protect their citizens. First, I want to say thank you
- 31:42to channel sponsor First Mining Gold and Fortuna Mining.
- 31:47Both companies help make this live stream, our group possible.
- 31:51Fortuna Mining is is an operating producing gold and
- 31:54silver producer operations in Latin America and West Africa.
- 31:58First Mining Gold is a development stage company.
- 32:01They have two multi million ounce development stage projects
- 32:04in Canada. Golden the ground in Canada.
- 32:06You can learn more about both of these great sponsors at their
- 32:10respective websites. It's a link to which I'll have
- 32:12in the description of this video.
- 32:13What is going on in Missouri. And I've got an update.
- 32:18OK, I with with the states that now have legal tender
- 32:22legislation, that is it. It's an evolving situation.
- 32:26It's tough for me to keep on top of it, on top of everything
- 32:29else. But I think I have a pretty good
- 32:31list for you. We're going to go out to Mike
- 32:34Mahari. This is interesting what's going
- 32:37on in Missouri, and I will have another video coming out about
- 32:40this this afternoon, but the 10th Amendment Center Missouri
- 32:43Constitutional Money Act would recognize gold and silver as
- 32:47legal tender. Remember, guys, we live in a
- 32:50country that has a history of confiscating gold and now as far
- 32:55as we know, silver as well. So the two bills filed in the
- 33:02Missouri in red, the Missouri Senate would officially
- 33:04recognize gold and silver as legal tender, eliminate state
- 33:08capital gains tax on both and ban support for any federal
- 33:13confiscation schemes. Missouri is rebelling.
- 33:17We are rebelling. I live in Missouri, OK.
- 33:20But this is this is happening all across the country.
- 33:23This can happen in your state as well, guys.
- 33:27Senator Mike Moon introduced SB-25, the Constitutional Money
- 33:32Act Gold and silver would be in yellow.
- 33:34Gold and silver would be accepted as legal tender in
- 33:38physical or electronic form. And we know what Texas, right,
- 33:44Texas is one of the biggest growing, most innovative states.
- 33:48They've got this proposal for basically an asset back for like
- 33:51a gold and silver electronic money system that they want to
- 33:55develop. And they've got their own state
- 33:57depository in Texas. But we're talking about Missouri
- 34:01electronic form and would be a gold and silver would be
- 34:04receivable and payment of all debts contracted in the state of
- 34:08Missouri. In Orange, the state would be
- 34:11required to accept gold and silver for the payment of public
- 34:14debts. Private debts would be settled
- 34:16in gold and silver at the party's discretion.
- 34:19The proposed law would also permit any entity doing business
- 34:22and the state to compensate its employees.
- 34:25Listen to this in full or in part in the dollar equivalent
- 34:30specie legal tender. That means gold and silver in
- 34:34physical or electronic transfer form.
- 34:38Wow. Wow.
- 34:40You can pay your employees in gold and silver.
- 34:44Welcome to Missouri. We're going to get a lot of
- 34:46people moving here. The passage of SB-25 would make
- 34:49Missouri the 6th state. So is your state.
- 34:54Is your state OK? One that has officially
- 34:56recognized gold and silver as legal tender.
- 35:00OK, as they should have always been doing that Utah was number
- 35:05one OK re establishing constitutional money in 2011.
- 35:09Utah was the trailblazer. Now we have Wyoming, Oklahoma,
- 35:14Arkansas and Louisiana, Louisiana.
- 35:17Now it gets even more interesting.
- 35:19Senator Rick Branton introduced Senate bill SP194 with similar
- 35:23provisions, but in addition right it would ban the state
- 35:27from from accepting CBDC central bank digital currency.
- 35:33I'll talk more about that, but banning CBDC's and Missouri and
- 35:38would require this is crazy. Wow.
- 35:42Missouri's going off the rails with gold and silver would
- 35:46require the state to hold gold and silver equal to or greater
- 35:50than 1% of state funds. It would require the state of
- 35:55Missouri. Treasurer, let me look you in
- 35:57the eye when we talk about this. To hold physical gold and
- 36:02silver, it kind of sounds like a little bit of a move back to the
- 36:05gold silver standard to me. I mean, think about that.
- 36:08We're talking millions and millions of dollars, right?
- 36:11The state of Missouri, don't forget people, they go on
- 36:14Missouri. And it is, you know, I, I, I, I,
- 36:17I like it here. But what does that tell you
- 36:20anyway? Missouri's a big, we have Saint
- 36:23Louis, right? We have Kansas City, there's
- 36:26Springfield, there's Saint Louis.
- 36:28Is, is a, I'm sorry, Missouri is a big state.
- 36:30There's a lot more money in Missouri than you may realize.
- 36:34Let me remind you of something also about the Federal Reserve
- 36:38banking system. Missouri, as far as I know, is
- 36:41one of the only states, if not the only state that has not one,
- 36:46but 2 Federal Reserve Banks. There's Saint Louis Federal
- 36:50Reserve Bank and Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank.
- 36:53And think about that. That same state is proposing,
- 36:58right? Like what I think is some
- 37:00groundbreaking legislation about gold and silver.
- 37:04How do you think the guys at the Fed, the guys and gals at the
- 37:07Federal Reserve Banks in Missouri feel about that?
- 37:10I bet they're not real thrilled. OK, back to this.
- 37:14We'll wrap this one up. Oops, Sorry about that.
- 37:19OK. In practice, passage would allow
- 37:22Missouri residents to use gold or silver in physical or
- 37:25electronic form as money rather than as mere investment
- 37:29vehicles. You can use gold and silver for
- 37:32what they really truly are, money.
- 37:37Article 1, Section 10 of the Constitution for the United
- 37:40States expressly prohibits from quote anything but gold and
- 37:45silver coin, making anything making anything but gold and
- 37:50silver coin a tender and payment of debts.
- 37:53OK, and let's go down here removing taxes.
- 37:57Both these bills would also exempt the sale of gold, sale of
- 38:01gold and silver from the states capital gains tax.
- 38:04Missouri is already 1 of 45 states that do not levy sales
- 38:09tax on gold and silver bullion. That just blows me away that
- 38:14they did. Some 5 states still charge sales
- 38:17tax on silver and gold. The best example I can have of
- 38:21that is like would be like if you went to your bank with $100
- 38:25bill and say I want five 20s and they said, sorry, we're going to
- 38:29charge you sales tax on this, right?
- 38:31I mean, we're going to, do you need to give us $106.00 or
- 38:34$108.00 to get $520 bills. Just completely unbelievable.
- 38:41Now imagine if the IRS sent you a bill, then they talk about,
- 38:44OK, they also exempt bullion from capital or exempting the
- 38:48sale of bullion from capital gains tax.
- 38:51Guys, I know I I'm an accountant, so it's second
- 38:53nature to me there. There's obviously a big
- 38:56difference between sales tax and capital gains tax.
- 39:00Sales tax is just that percent you pay any time there's a
- 39:02transaction that occurs. Capital gains tax is a tax you
- 39:05pay when something you own goes up in value.
- 39:08So if you buy a a stock for $10 and it goes to $15.00, you made
- 39:16a $5 profit. You would owe tax on the $5
- 39:20profit that you made. That's a capital gains tax.
- 39:23And exempting paying capital gains tax on gold and silver is
- 39:28insane. It's like paying capital gains
- 39:30tax on dollars. And that's what he says.
- 39:33Imagine the IRS sent you a bill every time the dollar
- 39:36strengthened against the euro. That's effectively what a
- 39:39capital gains tax and gold and silver do.
- 39:42So the sales tax was the first to pretty much get wiped out the
- 39:45next year is the capital gains tax because it makes no sense.
- 39:50Federal confiscation schemes, SB-25 includes provisions
- 39:55prohibiting any state or local cooperation with federal actions
- 40:00to confiscate gold or silver or that interfere with a person's
- 40:04right to use legal tender in Missouri.
- 40:09So there you have it guys. OK, big change is coming, right?
- 40:14There's so much we are in this ultimate bubble economy right
- 40:18now. And at the same time there's
- 40:22this movement going on like this ultimate fantasy world bubble
- 40:29paper debt driven. It's it, it really is.
- 40:33I mean, like the best way to sum it up is like, it's like a
- 40:35funhouse or like a fantasy world economy that we're living in.
- 40:39But at the same time, there's a strong group of, of, of what I
- 40:43would think solid minded people that are kind of leading the
- 40:47charge. And I would include you in that.
- 40:49I think I would include myself in that too, that are that are
- 40:52leading the charge towards this real money.
- 40:54Gold and silver are coming back. It's going to be fun.
- 40:57It's going to be a very interesting ride.
- 41:00Thank you for being here. OK, Thank you for being part of
- 41:03the basement. Oh, my gosh.
- 41:04Hold on here. I almost forgot.
- 41:06My Lord. Hey, thank you, Silver Sparky.
- 41:09Silver Sparky gave a super chat. Thank you, my friend.
- 41:13Good morning, family. Thank you.
- 41:14Thank you, my friend. Hey, Frank.
- 41:17Boy, I almost forgot. If I ever forget one of your
- 41:19super chats, e-mail me and yell at me.
- 41:21OK? When trust runs out, so does its
- 41:24value. Interesting, Frank.
- 41:27Wow, we got to talk about that, Frank.
- 41:29I like that. When trust runs out, so does its
- 41:33value. At the end, Fiat money returns
- 41:36to its intrinsic value. 0 That's from volunteer.
- 41:42Yeah, right. Like this stuff, this paper
- 41:45money. Look, look, I'm brainwashed.
- 41:48I grew up. I was born in 1970 right here in
- 41:50St. Louis, MO This is paper, right?
- 41:53There's nothing more. It's based on nothing but
- 41:56confidence and trust. And what do we know?
- 41:59What is history taught us right? Any form of money, electronic
- 42:06paper, you name it, has has eventually gone to 0.
- 42:10Now, sure, that thing, that paper money still holds some
- 42:13quote UN quote value right now. But if we look at history, it
- 42:17always goes back to 0, right? It's like the fact that with
- 42:22cryptos, all people look at is price, price, price, price,
- 42:26price, price. Look, the price of Doji coin,
- 42:29the price of this crypto, that crypto, there's a new crypto out
- 42:35that they come out all the time and it's just price driven, not
- 42:40value driven. Gold and silver investors are
- 42:42value driven. All right, guys, thank you for
- 42:44being here. Thank you, Frank.
- 42:46Thank you, Silver Sparky, everybody have a great day.
- 42:49OK, I'll see you soon. Thank you.
- 42:56Thank you.
