Three new K9s—Koda, Legend, and Maverick—were sworn in at the Franklin County fair, joining the sheriff’s Crisis K9 unit and community outreach team. Brothers Koda and Legend, both Labradors, are now part of the nation’s largest Therapy K9 unit, while 11-month-old Maverick helps recruit new community members. Two of the pups came from the Franklin County Dog Shelter, showcasing a powerful partnership that saves lives and builds trust.
