- 0:16Speaker 4: The Hodaki Big Show. The Hodaki Big Show. Thank you.
- 1:20Speaker 5: Did you just sigh in the National Anthem, Keezy? I
- 1:24Speaker 5: bloody well hope not.
- 1:26Speaker 6: No, no, no. I was just like, are we going
- 1:29Speaker 6: to talk over this or do we just stay silent?
- 1:31Speaker 6: I was trying to remember what we did.
- 1:32Speaker 1: We have respect, man.
- 1:33Speaker 6: Oh, I was respecting it the whole time. G'day, you
- 1:36Speaker 6: mad bastards.
- 1:37Speaker 5: Great to have your company this Monday morning. You're listening
- 1:41Speaker 5: to The Big Show Breakfast, brought to you by Bunnings Trade.
- 1:45Speaker 6: Build big rewards with new PowerPass Pro rewards by Bunnings.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Yeah, great stuff. And speaking of which... Mogi, you absolute stallion.
- 1:55Speaker 1: You Adonis, you Greek god.
- 1:57Speaker 6: How's life?
- 1:59Speaker 7: Going pretty grassy, you mad dog. You sick son of
- 2:01Speaker 7: a bee. I love setting the day with the National Anthem, fellas.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:04Speaker 7: Inspires you to get out of bed. All those lazy
- 2:07Speaker 7: dogs out there lying in bed thinking, oh, I can't
- 2:09Speaker 7: be bothered.
- 2:10Speaker 6: Yeah, Monday morning. You hear the National Anthem. You're far up.
- 2:15Speaker 6: You think about all we've gone before you, Keezy, don't you?
- 2:17Speaker 8: Yeah, man.
- 2:17Speaker 7: You think to yourself, I could drag my raggedy arse
- 2:19Speaker 7: out of this fart sack. Get out there and put
- 2:23Speaker 7: in a hard eight hours graft.
- 2:25Speaker 8: Hmm.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Huh?
- 2:27Speaker 6: Wow. Or two or three. Yeah, closer to four. Just
- 2:28Speaker 6: here on the radio.
- 2:29Speaker 9: Four for us.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Four, man.
- 2:31Speaker 6: Come on. And I've got to go home for a
- 2:32Speaker 6: nap after that. Well, two or three quality hours. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:36Speaker 6: A couple of shitters.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Yeah, an hour and a half of absolute crap.
- 2:40Speaker 6: Which I guess is now. How you going there, Keezy, man? Yeah,
- 2:44Speaker 6: not too bad, Mike. Had a bit of an average
- 2:46Speaker 6: sleep last night. A lot of sort of processing, a
- 2:49Speaker 6: lot of sadness.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Um.
- 2:52Speaker 6: Yeah, but at the same time, a great weekend. I
- 2:54Speaker 6: hosted Come Dine with me. We'll get into that later
- 2:55Speaker 6: in the show, of course. That was a joy. It
- 2:58Speaker 6: was also quite stressful.
- 3:00Speaker 10: Yes.
- 3:01Speaker 6: And the pack down was a lot as well. So
- 3:03Speaker 6: we're glad that's out the way. Yes, it's good to
- 3:06Speaker 6: get it done, isn't it?
- 3:07Speaker 1: It certainly is. It's good to get it done.
- 3:09Speaker 6: I wish I was first so that I could get
- 3:12Speaker 6: mine out the way and then just go, ah, and
- 3:14Speaker 6: then just enjoy everyone else's and not have to worry.
- 3:17Speaker 1: And now all the pressure, of course, just... Axe on
- 3:20Speaker 1: to old Pugzarn.
- 3:21Speaker 6: Yeah, man. Pressure building. It's going to be great stuff.
- 3:23Speaker 6: How are you, Jase?
- 3:24Speaker 1: Yeah, not bad.
- 3:25Speaker 5: Look, you know, like you guys, I'm a bit disappointed, genuinely.
- 3:30Speaker 5: I'm not a big fan of Monday morning, I'll be
- 3:31Speaker 5: honest with you. And I was one of those. pieces
- 3:35Speaker 5: of crap this morning, Mogi, that woke up and was like, oh, God.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Give me two more hours. Two more. But it wasn't
- 3:42Speaker 1: to be. And I'm fired up now that I'm here.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I'm fired up, New Zealand. How are you going on 3483?
- 3:47Speaker 11: Hey, big show coming up.
- 3:50Speaker 6: What's happening?
- 3:54Speaker 11: What's happening on the big show with old Mogi?
- 3:58Speaker 7: We're going to be talking to Charlie Gubb later in
- 3:59Speaker 7: the show to dissect that game last night.
- 4:02Speaker 6: Warriors v. Newcastle.
- 4:04Speaker 7: We'll also be breaking down Keezy's Come Dine With Me
- 4:07Speaker 7: experience over the weekend. All the fellas and their partners
- 4:10Speaker 7: went over to Keezy's house.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Flat.
- 4:13Speaker 7: Over in West Auckland there. And we'll be talking about
- 4:16Speaker 7: the experience that we had there. God, it was another
- 4:19Speaker 7: ripper of a weekend, wasn't it, fellas?
- 4:21Speaker 6: Yeah, mate.
- 4:22Speaker 7: And probably the thing people are most looking forward to
- 4:25Speaker 7: is we are going to be announcing.
- 4:27Speaker 6: The winner of Would You Rather.
- 4:29Speaker 7: Somebody today is going to find out that they and
- 4:30Speaker 7: a friend are going to be either heading off to Bathurst.
- 4:33Speaker 6: Or the NRL Grand Final in Sydney.
- 4:36Speaker 8: That's right.
- 4:36Speaker 6: We're going to have another couple of chances potentially to
- 4:38Speaker 6: put you in the draw. Last chances. That will be
- 4:41Speaker 6: announced after eight. We'll be calling a winner. How good, man.
- 4:44Speaker 6: How good. Oh, what a way to start the week.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Oh, that's really made my Monday. It's been a green day.
- 4:51Speaker 2: The Hodaki Big Show. Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hodaki.
- 4:56Speaker 5: Super groove there on the Big Show. Breakfast this Monday morning.
- 4:59Speaker 5: The time is 6.14 and.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Yeah, she was a big day yesterday, fellas, for the
- 5:05Speaker 1: big match. And I was thinking of you afterwards, how
- 5:08Speaker 1: you were feeling, how you were coping.
- 5:11Speaker 5: With the devastating loss for the Waz. How's it going, fellas?
- 5:15Speaker 5: Talk me through it.
- 5:17Speaker 6: Happy to do so. I'd also like to know how
- 5:19Speaker 6: the audience are going.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:20Speaker 6: On 3483, how are you feeling after yesterday? Any thoughts,
- 5:24Speaker 6: feelings you might have, please do share with us on 3483.
- 5:27Speaker 6: I'm weird. I did a lot of my grieving last
- 5:30Speaker 6: weekend at the Dolphins game because I was there. And
- 5:34Speaker 6: so going into this game, I had convinced myself that
- 5:37Speaker 6: I didn't think we were good enough, but I still
- 5:40Speaker 6: sat there with my Waz jersey on, fizzed up watching
- 5:44Speaker 6: the game. First half, all G, and very, very exciting game.
- 5:47Speaker 6: But the second half where I thought I'd be a
- 5:49Speaker 6: lot more devastated, I think I'd processed a lot of
- 5:52Speaker 6: my grief already.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Right, okay.
- 5:53Speaker 6: Because I had already convinced myself, the way we've been
- 5:55Speaker 6: playing the last month isn't good enough to win a
- 5:57Speaker 6: grand final. Right. Is what I thought. Yes. Having said that, though,
- 6:00Speaker 6: I was still like, the Wahs have got it in them.
- 6:02Speaker 6: I've seen them. I've seen them do it. And, yeah.
- 6:06Speaker 6: I don't know. Obviously, we were robbed.
- 6:10Speaker 8: Ah.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Yes, a couple of shocking decisions.
- 6:13Speaker 6: Absolutely dudded.
- 6:14Speaker 7: And that's what devastates you, Keezy, and you'll know this, Jase,
- 6:17Speaker 7: as well, obviously.
- 6:20Speaker 6: But you play all year round and then the refs
- 6:23Speaker 6: absolutely bend you over. Totally, man.
- 6:26Speaker 7: They bend you over and they bend you over in
- 6:28Speaker 7: front of 50,000 of your own fans.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Yes.
- 6:31Speaker 7: Is that necessary, man, to do that in front of
- 6:33Speaker 7: 50,000 of your own fans, man, to bend you.
- 6:36Speaker 6: Over like that, have your way? Which ref was it,
- 6:39Speaker 6: Ashley Klein? It was all of them. The bunker, the worst,
- 6:42Speaker 6: in fact.
- 6:43Speaker 7: I thought it was an absolute disgrace that ultimately an
- 6:48Speaker 7: opportunity to make your way to the grand final, and
- 6:52Speaker 7: who knows, Keezy, they may have lost next week, but
- 6:54Speaker 7: they were robbed of an opportunity to find out if
- 6:57Speaker 7: they were good enough because of the decisions.
- 7:01Speaker 6: Of a few men in weird shirts. 100% correct. It's
- 7:04Speaker 6: a disgrace. Now, can I just play devil's... It's a disgrace, Keezy!
- 7:10Speaker 6: Which moment are we talking about, Jase?
- 7:11Speaker 5: Well, there was one moment at the towards the very
- 7:13Speaker 5: end there where Martin, they said he stripped the ball.
- 7:17Speaker 6: Well, his hand did rake and his fingers closed.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, but it hardly touched the damn thing. He
- 7:21Speaker 1: dropped it.
- 7:24Speaker 6: Clearly bumped off. The guy was just trying to hold on.
- 7:27Speaker 6: There was no raking motion.
- 7:28Speaker 7: And then you have the bunker saying he's made a
- 7:30Speaker 7: raking motion with his fingers.
- 7:32Speaker 6: Well, he's just been grabbing. Absolutely ridiculous. It is a
- 7:35Speaker 6: 50-50 call. But what would you say? And this is
- 7:37Speaker 6: Devil's advocate stuff. It was a 100-0 call, Keezy.
- 7:40Speaker 1: That was the game right there. Right there, Keezy.
- 7:44Speaker 6: Because we were.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Right on their try line.
- 7:47Speaker 6: Jase, what would you say to people that say, hey,
- 7:49Speaker 6: to win a grand final, you've got to take the
- 7:51Speaker 6: ref out of it? You know what I mean? Relying
- 7:52Speaker 6: on 50-50 calls like that.
- 7:54Speaker 7: And if we got to the grand final, then we
- 7:55Speaker 7: could talk about it. But this wasn't a grand final.
- 7:57Speaker 1: No.
- 7:58Speaker 7: And when you've got an opportunity... Look, we're all watching
- 8:00Speaker 7: the same pictures. Every single commentator saw exactly the same thing.
- 8:04Speaker 7: When you've got that escort, when you get Leka Halasima
- 8:06Speaker 7: being taken out, a clear penalty right in front of
- 8:08Speaker 7: the post. They've been talking all week about how they're
- 8:10Speaker 7: going to penalise that. And then when the opportunity comes,
- 8:13Speaker 7: they chickened out. And once again... The Warriors get robbed.
- 8:19Speaker 1: And, Keezy.
- 8:21Speaker 8: What?
- 8:21Speaker 5: You can't just go into a game and deduce the referee, man.
- 8:25Speaker 1: That's not cool. I know.
- 8:26Speaker 6: I don't want to do it.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Well, you said take him out.
- 8:29Speaker 6: And I'm not.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I mean, you can't take out the referee.
- 8:32Speaker 6: You can't leave it up to the ref. You need
- 8:34Speaker 6: someone to award the tries, Keezy, or the tries we score.
- 8:37Speaker 1: What about that bloody pass where they said he touched
- 8:40Speaker 1: the ball and went over his hand? He was nowhere
- 8:42Speaker 1: bloody near it.
- 8:44Speaker 6: Nah, definitely touched his hand. So do you want to
- 8:46Speaker 6: do a big poll on this?
- 8:47Speaker 7: I do want to do a big poll. And the
- 8:56Speaker 7: question is simple. Were the Warriors robbed?
- 9:00Speaker 6: Yes or no? You can go to the Hodaki Big
- 9:04Speaker 6: Show's Instagram story and vote on the big poll. Pugs
- 9:07Speaker 6: is just slapping it together now. Yeah, good stuff. Also,
- 9:11Speaker 6: text us. I know, you go. Text us, 3483. How
- 9:14Speaker 6: are you feeling after that Waz loss?
- 9:16Speaker 8: Yeah, man.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Here's Queens of the Stone Age.
- 9:22Speaker 10: The Chills sounds of Alice in Chains there on the
- 9:31Speaker 10: Radio Hauraki Big Show breakfast.
- 9:33Speaker 5: And the country's processing the big loss from yesterday, and
- 9:38Speaker 5: we've been flooded. With texts on 3483, Keezy.
- 9:42Speaker 6: Certainly have, Jase. So upset for the boys. Worked hard.
- 9:46Speaker 6: Feeling flat today.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:47Speaker 6: It's from one man.
- 9:48Speaker 8: Yeah, man.
- 9:48Speaker 6: That's the thing.
- 9:49Speaker 1: That's pretty accurate.
- 9:50Speaker 6: Well, we've really gone through this journey with them, haven't we,
- 9:53Speaker 6: over the last few years, but certainly this year, because
- 9:55Speaker 6: this year really did feel different. It did feel different. However,
- 9:59Speaker 6: it stopped feeling different.
- 10:01Speaker 7: Yeah, when the referee got that whistle in his mouth
- 10:03Speaker 7: last night.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Yeah, just blew it for everyone.
- 10:05Speaker 6: Just ruined the spectacle.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 10:08Speaker 6: An absolute abomination. That's from Mitch. Yeah, Mitch gets it.
- 10:12Speaker 6: You know what happened, man? The bunker absolutely did us
- 10:15Speaker 6: last night. Yeah, totally. Yeah, totally.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I wouldn't be surprised if there was money involved.
- 10:18Speaker 6: Thank you. Shout out to the Wright family who have
- 10:22Speaker 6: sent through, absolutely gutted, robbed of an opportunity, up the whas.
- 10:26Speaker 6: Up the whas.
- 10:27Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 10:28Speaker 6: A lot of people are upset. A lot of people
- 10:30Speaker 6: texting in things like classic Kiwis blaming the refs. Pack
- 10:33Speaker 6: it up, go home, mate. Pack it up, go home.
- 10:36Speaker 8: Yeah. I mean.
- 10:38Speaker 6: Get your stuff and get out. This person here, interesting
- 10:42Speaker 6: how many league fans always point out that they prefer
- 10:44Speaker 6: league over union because there's less TMO involvement.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I was going to make that point, actually.
- 10:50Speaker 6: Oh, so you're a union fan?
- 10:51Speaker 1: It was just, God, they bang on. You know, you've
- 10:53Speaker 1: got this great spectacle. Ruined. By TMOs and bunkers and referees.
- 11:02Speaker 6: Get rid of all the refs.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Just let the men go out into the field, smack
- 11:06Speaker 1: the crap out of each other, and the strongest wins.
- 11:09Speaker 6: And what about the women's sport?
- 11:11Speaker 1: Same.
- 11:12Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 11:24Speaker 12: Time for your latest sport headlines, thanks to Export Ultra,
- 11:27Speaker 12: the beer for here. Now, these are the real headlines.
- 11:30Speaker 12: I screwed them up at 6am.
- 11:31Speaker 6: Yeah, I heard those, and... Who's going to bring it
- 11:34Speaker 6: up with you? Yeah, shock and burst.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Anyway, we'll just carry on.
- 11:37Speaker 6: That's all on top of the Warriors losing last night.
- 11:39Speaker 6: I know. It's really compounded things for me.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Kind of broke me.
- 11:42Speaker 6: I thought I could count on you, at least. Yes. Yeah.
- 11:45Speaker 12: Well, apparently they lost last night.
- 11:47Speaker 6: Yeah, but I heard Andrew Johns saying he's looking forward
- 11:50Speaker 6: to the game this weekend.
- 11:51Speaker 7: He is, yeah.
- 11:52Speaker 8: Mmm.
- 11:53Speaker 6: Shocking.
- 11:56Speaker 12: They lost last night. I'm not laughing at that. 12-10
- 12:00Speaker 12: to the Knights.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Yeah, we know the score, man.
- 12:03Speaker 6: Jase, let him read the news, man.
- 12:05Speaker 12: So the Knights, they are playing the Panthers on Sunday.
- 12:09Speaker 6: As if anyone cares.
- 12:11Speaker 12: Do you care about the Dolphins meeting the Roosters?
- 12:14Speaker 8: No.
- 12:14Speaker 12: I can just skip that line too?
- 12:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 12:16Speaker 12: Okay, I'll just move on. The government's keen to see
- 12:19Speaker 12: Christchurch get an NRL team. with South Island minister James
- 12:23Speaker 12: Meagher backing the bid after meeting the group behind it.
- 12:25Speaker 12: But ministers are making it clear the call is up
- 12:28Speaker 12: to the NRL.
- 12:29Speaker 6: Jim Hubcap.
- 12:32Speaker 12: And the Breakers.
- 12:34Speaker 6: Some good news.
- 12:35Speaker 12: Have opened their ANBL basketball season and welcome new coach
- 12:38Speaker 12: Gordon Herbert with a 95-81 win over the Hawks at
- 12:43Speaker 12: Spark Arena.
- 12:44Speaker 6: Big buttface.
- 12:48Speaker 12: I went to that game last night.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Oh, did you?
- 12:50Speaker 8: The.
- 12:51Speaker 12: At Eden Park.
- 12:52Speaker 6: I heard you had a streak. Well, no.
- 12:55Speaker 12: I actually, I don't know if I've got time to
- 12:59Speaker 12: bring this up. I was accosted. You may notice I've
- 13:01Speaker 12: got quite a gash on my forehead this morning.
- 13:04Speaker 6: Yeah, it's huge. And, yeah, so. What happened?
- 13:09Speaker 12: Do you want me to tell you the embellished story.
- 13:11Speaker 6: Or the real story? Either way, just crack on with it.
- 13:15Speaker 12: I walked into a bathroom door.
- 13:17Speaker 6: Oh, wow. Were you pissed up again?
- 13:20Speaker 12: Just play the song if you want.
- 13:21Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 13:22Speaker 6: Pissed up again, Bryn. Hey, thanks for doing that, by
- 13:24Speaker 6: the way. What are you having for breakfast, New Zealand?
- 13:27Speaker 6: Text us 3483. Let us know. Yeah, man. Thanks, Bryn.
- 13:33Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 13:36Speaker 2: in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 13:39Speaker 5: She had there on the Big Show breakfast this Monday morning.
- 13:42Speaker 5: Keep those texts coming on 3483 for what's on the
- 13:45Speaker 5: breakfast with me.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Keezy, what are you having for breakfast? And tell us
- 13:48Speaker 1: your name.
- 13:49Speaker 6: Also, sorry, and I want to know, where are you
- 13:51Speaker 6: going to work?
- 13:52Speaker 1: Yeah, true.
- 13:54Speaker 6: 3483, and Pugs has just said we've got some lying
- 13:56Speaker 6: around re-burger vouchers to dish out. Oh, how good.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Also, would you rather we announce the winner at 8
- 14:02Speaker 1: o'clock today, but it's not too late, New Zealand, so
- 14:05Speaker 1: we're going to do a bit of a blitz before
- 14:07Speaker 1: 8 o'clock so you can get into that draw.
- 14:10Speaker 6: That's right. It's been a huge one. Thousands and thousands
- 14:13Speaker 6: of people have been calling in to try and get
- 14:14Speaker 6: themselves into the draw to go to either the NRL
- 14:17Speaker 6: Grand Final or Or Bathurst. Now, what's going to be
- 14:20Speaker 6: interesting today is whether people that originally said grand final
- 14:25Speaker 6: may be going to pivot and go to Bathurst and see. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Do a swapsie.
- 14:29Speaker 6: Can you say that you wanted one thing and then
- 14:31Speaker 6: change your mind?
- 14:33Speaker 1: I don't see why not, Mogi.
- 14:34Speaker 6: I mean, Jason, I have no idea. Yeah, yeah. I
- 14:36Speaker 6: don't know. I guess so. I guess so. I don't know.
- 14:40Speaker 6: That's actually an interesting point. Maybe we should talk to
- 14:42Speaker 6: someone that knows.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Is the NRL final a spectacle in itself?
- 14:47Speaker 6: In and of itself.
- 14:48Speaker 1: In and of itself, yes.
- 14:50Speaker 8: 100%.
- 14:50Speaker 6: Like, it's a packed out, massive stadium in Sydney. And
- 14:53Speaker 6: the thing, too, with the boys trip,. co. nz trip I
- 14:56Speaker 6: put together, you've got the Renwick races on the Saturday.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Now you can have a blowout.
- 15:00Speaker 8: Yes.
- 15:00Speaker 6: Responsibly. Exactly. And then the next day you've got a
- 15:03Speaker 6: river cruise up to the stadium and then a big
- 15:05Speaker 6: night on the Sunday and flights and transfers and stuff
- 15:08Speaker 6: taken care of.
- 15:08Speaker 8: Yes.
- 15:09Speaker 6: So if it was me, fellas, I would still go
- 15:12Speaker 6: NRL Grand Final.
- 15:13Speaker 11: Yes.
- 15:13Speaker 6: Personally.
- 15:14Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:14Speaker 6: What about you, Jase?
- 15:16Speaker 1: Oh, it's a tough one because I'm a bit of
- 15:17Speaker 1: a petrolhead as well.
- 15:18Speaker 5: So, you know, I'm really sort of vacillating between the two.
- 15:23Speaker 6: Is that a word?
- 15:25Speaker 1: I think so.
- 15:25Speaker 6: We're going to do a blitz.
- 15:27Speaker 1: It's Monday morning, Keezy. I mean, it's 20 to 7
- 15:30Speaker 1: in the morning, man. I'll just make up words if
- 15:32Speaker 1: I want to.
- 15:33Speaker 6: Fair enough. We will be doing a blitz, one final
- 15:36Speaker 6: round of Q2 calls after 7 o'clock today. So if
- 15:39Speaker 6: you want to get yourself in the draw, it is
- 15:41Speaker 6: not too late. Keep an ear out for the Q2 call.
- 15:43Speaker 6: Get ready to call 0800 HODUCK.
- 15:45Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 15:49Speaker 6: Yes, indeed.
- 15:50Speaker 5: Welcome back, you massive backbones. You're listening to The Big Show.
- 15:53Speaker 5: Breakfast is Monday morning. The time is 6.44. Hope you're
- 15:56Speaker 5: surviving your Monday morning, by the way.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Now, listen, when you got up this morning before you
- 16:00Speaker 1: headed off for work, what did you have for brekkie?
- 16:02Speaker 1: We really want to know about it on 3483.
- 16:05Speaker 6: We certainly do. Please text through your name. Where are
- 16:08Speaker 6: you off to? Where are you from? What are you doing?
- 16:10Speaker 6: But most importantly, what are you having for breakfast? We've
- 16:13Speaker 6: got a whole heap of re-burger vouchers left over we'd
- 16:15Speaker 6: like to dish out, so text us through on 3483
- 16:17Speaker 6: and we'll be getting into what's on the breakfast next.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Did you guys bring anything in?
- 16:21Speaker 5: Because you both usually bring something and it looks like
- 16:23Speaker 5: you haven't done it this morning.
- 16:24Speaker 6: What's going on? No, I've only got a piece of toast.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Oh, right, okay.
- 16:29Speaker 7: When I say toast, I mean two pieces of bread, Vogel's.
- 16:32Speaker 7: I had one earlier on, put it in the old
- 16:34Speaker 7: toaster there, burnt the hell out of it.
- 16:36Speaker 8: Yeah, nice.
- 16:36Speaker 6: And then I've been chomping on that for the last
- 16:39Speaker 6: sort of 30, 40 minutes. Disgusting.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Oh, good stuff.
- 16:42Speaker 6: Moggy also drove in with his percolator, his coffee. Is
- 16:45Speaker 6: that a percolator?
- 16:46Speaker 7: Yeah, it's one of those stovetop little percolator numbers and
- 16:48Speaker 7: you put it on the old gas there and it
- 16:50Speaker 7: cooks away. But I realised I left both of my
- 16:53Speaker 7: takeaway cups that I use, I left them here at work.
- 16:56Speaker 7: So I brought in the whole percolator, spilled it all
- 16:59Speaker 7: over the passenger seat, the coffee there, and yeah, it'll
- 17:02Speaker 7: be an issue going forward. Yeah, but I needed my coffee, man.
- 17:05Speaker 7: I wasn't going to go with that.
- 17:06Speaker 6: Was it yum? It was delicious, Keezy. Just ask my
- 17:09Speaker 6: passenger seat.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Yeah, great stuff.
- 17:11Speaker 5: I'm a little concerned you haven't brought anything, Keezy, because
- 17:13Speaker 5: I know how hangry you get. And it's been a
- 17:17Speaker 5: rough night for you and a rough morning, so I'm
- 17:20Speaker 5: a bit worried you don't have some sort of foul
- 17:22Speaker 5: poppy seed concoction or muesli of some description.
- 17:26Speaker 6: I've got muesli.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Oh, you do?
- 17:27Speaker 6: A little Tupperware container out in the office. What kind
- 17:29Speaker 6: of muesli are you running there? I don't know, some
- 17:31Speaker 6: sort of.
- 17:33Speaker 6: Oats and apricot and raisins.
- 17:35Speaker 9: Or some crap.
- 17:35Speaker 6: Yeah, that sounds like a muesli. Yeah, it sounds like
- 17:37Speaker 6: a muesli. But what are you having, New Zealand? 3483,
- 17:40Speaker 6: let us know up next what's on the brekkie.
- 17:44Speaker 1: In the meantime, here's Smashing Pumpkins.
- 17:46Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 17:50Speaker 5: Smashing Pumpkins there on the Big Show. Breakfast this Monday morning.
- 17:53Speaker 5: The time is 10 minutes to 7, which means it's
- 17:56Speaker 5: time for.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 17:57Speaker 6: Hey, guys. Text here from Steve. What's on the breakfast?
- 18:02Speaker 6: With me, Keithy. That's right. What's on the breakfast? You
- 18:09Speaker 6: text through on 3483. What are you having for breakfast?
- 18:11Speaker 6: What's your name? Where are you from? What do you
- 18:13Speaker 6: do for a job? That sort of stuff. And then
- 18:14Speaker 6: we read it out on the radio and dish out
- 18:16Speaker 6: Reburger vouchers. G'day, fellas. Will here.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Smith.
- 18:22Speaker 8: Yep.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Carling.
- 18:24Speaker 6: No, Smith. Come on, man. G'day, guys. Will Smith here
- 18:27Speaker 6: from Wellington, heading to work, having a bacon and egg
- 18:30Speaker 6: pie and a white monster. Which is an energy drink.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 18:35Speaker 6: No, that's all G.
- 18:35Speaker 1: I'm happy with that.
- 18:37Speaker 6: I like a bacon and egg pie. That sounds delicious, actually.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I love a bacon and egg pie.
- 18:40Speaker 6: Oh, there it is. I've never had a monster drink before.
- 18:43Speaker 1: No, neither have I.
- 18:45Speaker 6: Neither. G'day, guys. Kayla here. Kayla. Kayla. Yes. Kayla, Kayla.
- 18:55Speaker 8: G'day, guys.
- 18:55Speaker 6: Kayla, Kayla here. Had a coffee and two hash browns
- 18:58Speaker 6: for breakfast. Heading to work. I'm a vampire at New
- 19:01Speaker 6: Zealand Blood Service, Wellington.
- 19:02Speaker 8: Cheers.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Right. Yeah, nice. Two hashies. Okay, not bad.
- 19:05Speaker 6: Probably from a drive-through there, drive-through situation. Yeah, I'd say so, Mogi.
- 19:09Speaker 12: Pretty good.
- 19:09Speaker 6: Sounds like she's hungover.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Yes.
- 19:11Speaker 6: Maybe.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:12Speaker 7: I wouldn't want her taking my blood if she had
- 19:14Speaker 7: those shaken hands that she gets.
- 19:16Speaker 6: She does get that. She's a shocking bastard.
- 19:18Speaker 1: But she'll be fine because she had the hashies.
- 19:20Speaker 6: The two hashies, yeah.
- 19:21Speaker 1: They'll soak it all up.
- 19:22Speaker 8: G'day, guys.
- 19:23Speaker 6: Lyndon here.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Bray.
- 19:24Speaker 6: Johnston. Johnston. Johnston. G'day, guys. Lyndon Johnston here, trowning my
- 19:30Speaker 6: sorrows with peanut butter and jam on toast. Filthy at
- 19:32Speaker 6: the wise result. Driving to the building site.
- 19:35Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 19:36Speaker 6: Get to take it out on some nails, though.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm not a fan of peanut butter and jam.
- 19:43Speaker 6: No.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Peanut butter, sure.
- 19:45Speaker 6: I love it.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Jam, no.
- 19:46Speaker 12: No.
- 19:47Speaker 6: It's an abomination.
- 19:48Speaker 8: It is.
- 19:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 19:48Speaker 7: They went for a while, I remember. back in the
- 19:50Speaker 7: day there, Jase, you remember this, where they put the
- 19:53Speaker 7: peanut butter and the jam in the one jar.
- 19:55Speaker 8: Yes.
- 19:55Speaker 6: Do you remember this?
- 19:56Speaker 8: Yes.
- 19:57Speaker 6: Failed, Keezy, miserably. Yeah, that's stupid. I want to make
- 20:01Speaker 6: my own ratio.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you.
- 20:02Speaker 6: Yeah, because I like lots of peanut butter. G'day, guys.
- 20:05Speaker 6: Travis here.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Head.
- 20:08Speaker 6: Travis Bickle. From the taxi driver. You know, old Robert
- 20:12Speaker 6: De Niro there. Travis Bickle. Shocking bastard he was. G'day guys,
- 20:16Speaker 6: Travis Bickle here. I've had 15 Weet-Bix with diced banana
- 20:20Speaker 6: and some blueberries and sugar and a large coffee and
- 20:22Speaker 6: now I'm on the toilet for some reason.
- 20:24Speaker 8: Cheers.
- 20:26Speaker 6: That is a hell of a breakfast. It is.
- 20:28Speaker 1: That's a sturdy breakfast, isn't it?
- 20:30Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 20:30Speaker 1: It's a real filler-upper.
- 20:32Speaker 6: What about this one here from Anonymous? G'day, guys. Anonymous here.
- 20:36Speaker 6: Krispy Kreme had a sale on a dozen donuts, so
- 20:39Speaker 6: I had an American cop breakfast, a coffee and a
- 20:41Speaker 6: donut for breakfast. Yeah, nice.
- 20:43Speaker 7: A coffee and a donut. With a donut, you'd have
- 20:46Speaker 7: to go creamless, though, wouldn't you? It'd have to be
- 20:48Speaker 7: like one of those normal round bastards. It's just a
- 20:50Speaker 7: circle glazed one.
- 20:50Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 20:51Speaker 6: That for brekkie and a black coffee. G'day, guys. Matt here.
- 20:55Speaker 7: Can I say I wouldn't want mine glazed? I only
- 20:57Speaker 7: want the cinnamon sugar coating, you know?
- 21:00Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah.
- 21:01Speaker 6: No glazing. I thought you loved having your donut glazed.
- 21:04Speaker 1: I tell you what. I like a Bavarian. Oh, that's good, Jase.
- 21:12Speaker 6: Donut. Do you like the black rose? You should have
- 21:15Speaker 6: a glazed one like me.
- 21:16Speaker 1: A glazed Bavarian donut.
- 21:20Speaker 6: Here's the black rose.
- 21:24Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 21:28Speaker 2: in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 21:31Speaker 5: You're welcome back, you massive backbones. Hope you're getting through
- 21:35Speaker 5: your Monday morning okay. You're listening to The Big Show Breakfast,
- 21:40Speaker 5: brought to you by Bunnings Trade.
- 21:42Speaker 6: Build big rewards with new PowerPass Pro Rewards by Bunnings.
- 21:48Speaker 6: Great stuff, Keezy.
- 21:49Speaker 1: By the way, big weekend for everyone.
- 21:53Speaker 5: Did you manage to get into Bunnings, Mogi? I know
- 21:56Speaker 5: you were planning to over the weekend. Get some stuff
- 21:59Speaker 5: sorted out, did you?
- 22:01Speaker 6: Well, I did actually, man.
- 22:02Speaker 7: I had a whole bunch of renovations to get done
- 22:06Speaker 7: over the weekend. But mostly I was working on the car.
- 22:10Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 22:10Speaker 6: Had a bit of work on the car. Yeah, nice.
- 22:12Speaker 6: She's a tricky bastard there and there. It's going to
- 22:14Speaker 6: take a little bit longer than I'd hoped. But yeah,
- 22:16Speaker 6: they've got it all down there at Bunnings. Sure do, man.
- 22:18Speaker 8: Sure do.
- 22:19Speaker 1: You'd love Bunnings, Keezy.
- 22:20Speaker 6: Oh, really?
- 22:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, because you're... You're a bit of a handyman.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Like to whack a bit of wood.
- 22:27Speaker 6: You do. You're always whacking your wood. Aren't you? What
- 22:31Speaker 6: are you talking about? Whacking away there. Really? And they
- 22:34Speaker 6: like that at Bunnings. Well, they've got wood down there.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Nails.
- 22:37Speaker 6: I've never even heard of Bunnings.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Wow.
- 22:40Speaker 6: Or even seen.
- 22:40Speaker 1: You need to check it out, man. You definitely need
- 22:42Speaker 1: to check it out.
- 22:43Speaker 6: You simply must.
- 22:44Speaker 5: Now, listen, really, really genuinely big hour coming up. We've
- 22:49Speaker 5: got to get people into the would you rather draw.
- 22:51Speaker 6: Last chance. Last chance.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Last chance. Got to talk to old Gubby about the
- 22:56Speaker 1: devastating loss of the Waz. And also a bit of
- 23:01Speaker 1: chat about Keezy's Come Dine With Me.
- 23:03Speaker 6: It's all happening here, fellas. Up next, Charlie Gubbett, of course.
- 23:07Speaker 6: Last chance coming for Would You Rather. Keep an ear
- 23:09Speaker 6: out for that cuter call. And then ring 0800 HODUCKY.
- 23:12Speaker 6: Good stuff.
- 23:14Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 23:15Speaker 1: KG Elephant, why not? I'm going to have some more coffee.
- 23:17Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 23:21Speaker 2: in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 23:23Speaker 5: KG Elephant there on the Big Show breakfast this Monday morning.
- 23:27Speaker 1: And I'm going to be honest with you, the fellows
- 23:29Speaker 1: are a bit flat.
- 23:31Speaker 5: They're a bit flat after the devastating loss for the
- 23:34Speaker 5: Waas yesterday. And so we thought, you know, what we
- 23:38Speaker 5: need is a rugby league legend to talk us through it,
- 23:42Speaker 5: to talk us down. to go through the nitty-gritty of
- 23:45Speaker 5: what went wrong for the Waas. And with that in mind,
- 23:49Speaker 5: we've got the one, the only, Charlie Gubbin. Charlie, how
- 23:53Speaker 5: are you travelling this Monday morning, mate?
- 23:57Speaker 8: Fellas, I'm heavily deflated. You know, like, what was such
- 24:03Speaker 8: an amazing season, and then it's just been a very
- 24:06Speaker 8: poor finals campaign, and it was just... I just had
- 24:10Speaker 8: a lot of anxiety watching the game last night and thinking, nah,
- 24:13Speaker 8: we're too good, we're too good. But it was just
- 24:16Speaker 8: false hope. We just didn't perform. Our attack was flat.
- 24:21Speaker 8: I'll admit that Ali should have got sent to the
- 24:25Speaker 8: bin in the first half. That ball didn't go the Knights' way.
- 24:27Speaker 8: But then we had three shockers in the second half.
- 24:31Speaker 8: One of them was the strip. um the other one
- 24:36Speaker 8: liquor getting run off the ball which should have been
- 24:38Speaker 8: a penalty in front of the post to make it
- 24:40Speaker 8: 12 all yeah and the other one was uh ali's
- 24:44Speaker 8: hand there was no definite footage of it um touching
- 24:47Speaker 8: the ball and so every every day of the week
- 24:50Speaker 8: that's just uh you just go the rest call yeah
- 24:52Speaker 8: but um they just overturned it the bunker was just
- 24:54Speaker 8: i don't know it was shocking.
- 24:56Speaker 6: It feels like there's a campaign at the highest possible
- 25:00Speaker 6: levels of the NRL to keep the Warriors away from
- 25:04Speaker 6: the grand final and our debut premiership. How does it
- 25:07Speaker 6: feel for you, Charlie? I mean, we're getting robbed, brother.
- 25:12Speaker 8: Those are bad calls, but at the same time, I'm like, man,
- 25:15Speaker 8: we had so many chances down there. We just didn't
- 25:19Speaker 8: look threatening. Our picks in the sets were just not...
- 25:23Speaker 8: I don't know, they just didn't have the class that
- 25:25Speaker 8: we had 10 weeks ago.
- 25:26Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 25:27Speaker 8: Every time we went out back to Tain, they would
- 25:29Speaker 8: slide out and there would be man on defence, whereas
- 25:32Speaker 8: in the past we'd always get overlap or, you know, 50%
- 25:35Speaker 8: of the time we'd get overlap and put the winger away.
- 25:37Speaker 8: But we just, I don't know, we just weren't breaking
- 25:40Speaker 8: them down. Everything was a bit clunky. Yeah. The effort
- 25:44Speaker 8: was all there. Like, the forwards were going forward. Everyone
- 25:47Speaker 8: was going hard. But, you know, effort's not enough to
- 25:49Speaker 8: win games, eh? You have to have a bit more class.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Can I just.
- 25:53Speaker 5: Ask this question, Gabby, because in finals, you know, rugby
- 25:57Speaker 5: league and in any sort of sporting occasion, it's all
- 26:00Speaker 5: about the small margins.
- 26:02Speaker 1: And I wonder if the Warriors.
- 26:04Speaker 5: Just tense up that 5%, you know, that 8%.
- 26:09Speaker 1: They're just a bit more anxious. They're just a bit
- 26:12Speaker 1: more nervous. And maybe that's part of the difference.
- 26:16Speaker 8: Yeah, you might be right, Hoide, because, you know, that
- 26:19Speaker 8: was Lekker's first game back, and he was extremely hard
- 26:21Speaker 8: to handle.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Yes.
- 26:23Speaker 8: But maybe there just was a bit of, yeah, a
- 26:24Speaker 8: bit of tension and fatigue in the team. I think
- 26:27Speaker 8: you saw that long-range try that Knights got. Dolphins scored
- 26:31Speaker 8: the same way last week. They ran in between Laban
- 26:33Speaker 8: and Alia Tawa. And it's just those small moments. Like,
- 26:37Speaker 8: they only scored two tries, but that was one of
- 26:39Speaker 8: them where, like, our young fellas made the same mistake.
- 26:43Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:43Speaker 8: But in saying that, like... they tried real hard, but,
- 26:48Speaker 8: you know, it's just those small moments are what cost you.
- 26:53Speaker 6: Charlie, Keezy here, man. Hope you're well. Obviously, we have
- 26:57Speaker 6: to at least try and take some positives away from
- 26:59Speaker 6: this because the WAs are looking to build, you know,
- 27:03Speaker 6: a sort of a dynasty as opposed to just winning
- 27:06Speaker 6: one grand final. They're trying to set up a situation
- 27:08Speaker 6: where we're producing a lot of good talent and we
- 27:11Speaker 6: can be a real contender for years to come. So,
- 27:14Speaker 6: When you see the likes of, I know Jacob Laban
- 27:16Speaker 6: has looked a bit tired the last few weeks because
- 27:18Speaker 6: it is such a long season, but you look at
- 27:20Speaker 6: the likes of him, Tanner Stowers-Smith, Eddie Itamiatuiava, and of
- 27:24Speaker 6: course Leka Harasima was the best player on the field.
- 27:27Speaker 6: This is a guy who was bumping off Dan Gagai
- 27:29Speaker 6: and scored two tries. Like, you know, there's a lot
- 27:32Speaker 6: of positives there. We've got Webby locked in for a
- 27:34Speaker 6: few more years as well. So are there positives to
- 27:37Speaker 6: take away from this for you, Charlie?
- 27:39Speaker 8: Yeah, definitely. I think like, They're just young boys. They're
- 27:43Speaker 8: experiencing a long season. But the Warriors are in such
- 27:46Speaker 8: a good position now. They're very strong in all the
- 27:49Speaker 8: lower grades, whereas last time they made the grand final, yes,
- 27:52Speaker 8: they had a strong under-20s team. But all those under-20
- 27:55Speaker 8: players were all talent. They hadn't played league before. They're
- 27:58Speaker 8: coming out of first-15 straight into under-20s and then straight
- 28:01Speaker 8: up to NRL, so they still don't know the fundamentals.
- 28:03Speaker 8: But now Warriors are in the hot seat. They're getting
- 28:07Speaker 8: all the best talent in New Zealand from Christchurch, Wellington,
- 28:10Speaker 8: all the way up to Auckland. They've got Mark Robinson
- 28:14Speaker 8: spending a lot of money in these junior academies. So
- 28:16Speaker 8: they're handpicking all the best kids. So all these best
- 28:19Speaker 8: kids from 15, they'll be going to camps all the time,
- 28:23Speaker 8: playing all these games. So still be playing first 15.
- 28:25Speaker 8: But Warriors will have that next Ardy and that next Julian.
- 28:29Speaker 8: They won't be coming for a union anymore. They're coming
- 28:32Speaker 8: through the Warriors system. So there's another one, a young
- 28:35Speaker 8: fella there, Bishop Neal, who's 17, and he's going to
- 28:38Speaker 8: be on that like a halosema trajectory. So hopefully we
- 28:42Speaker 8: can just keep them more long term. But definitely positive signs.
- 28:46Speaker 6: 100% Charlie. Well, look, man, thank you so much for
- 28:49Speaker 6: your work during the Warriors season and chatting to us here.
- 28:52Speaker 6: Big shout out to Charlie Gubb's company as well. Porter King,
- 28:56Speaker 6: they are the experts in Portaloos down in Wellington. If
- 28:58Speaker 6: you ever need one down there, you give them a call. Charlie,
- 29:01Speaker 6: rest up, man. And yeah, hard luck about yesterday.
- 29:05Speaker 8: Yeah, that's all good. And fellas, if you want to pass...
- 29:08Speaker 8: Pass the hat around and send me a generous koha.
- 29:10Speaker 6: That's up to you.
- 29:11Speaker 8: It could be as little as $ 500. It's up to
- 29:12Speaker 8: you guys. Yeah.
- 29:15Speaker 6: We'll see what we can do, Charlie.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Absolutely, Charlie, mate. Good on you. Thanks, mate. Here's a
- 29:22Speaker 1: bit of Soundgarden.
- 29:25Speaker 6: Nice way of wrapping him up as soon as he
- 29:26Speaker 6: asked for cash, Jase. It was well done.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I had to, didn't I?
- 29:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 29:30Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 29:35Speaker 2: One simple question. One weekend of a lifetime.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Would you rather? Yes, indeed, it is the last chance saloon, fellas.
- 29:45Speaker 1: We announced the winner for that at 8 o'clock today,
- 29:47Speaker 1: so if you're in the draw, make sure you've got
- 29:50Speaker 1: your phone on.
- 29:52Speaker 6: That's right. Thanks to boyschip.co.nz. This is one hell of
- 29:55Speaker 6: a prize to win. It is either... Pitchelhead dream. A
- 30:00Speaker 6: full weekend at Mount Panorama for the Bathurst 1000. Flights, hotels,
- 30:04Speaker 6: transfers to Mount Panorama both to Saturday and the Sunday.
- 30:08Speaker 6: Or an NRL lover's dream over in Sydney there. You've
- 30:12Speaker 6: got the Renwick races on Saturday and then on the
- 30:14Speaker 6: Sunday a boat cruise up to the stadium and then
- 30:16Speaker 6: watching the NRL grand final, of course, also with flights
- 30:19Speaker 6: and hotel taken care of.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Bloody good, Keezy. Let's go to the phone lines. G'day Mark,
- 30:24Speaker 1: you mad bastard. How's life?
- 30:26Speaker 8: Hey, g'day, guys. Yeah, pretty good.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Good on you, mate. What are you going to go
- 30:30Speaker 1: with there, Mark? Would you go NRL or would you
- 30:33Speaker 1: go Bathurst?
- 30:34Speaker 8: No, got to be grand final.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Yeah, good on you, mate. I'll tell you what. You're
- 30:38Speaker 1: in the draw, mate. Stay on the line and Pugs
- 30:40Speaker 1: will saw you out.
- 30:41Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Good on you, mate. G'day, Liam, you mad bastard. How's life?
- 30:46Speaker 8: Yeah, not bad, mate.
- 30:47Speaker 1: How are you? Yeah, good. Fired up for your Monday,
- 30:49Speaker 1: are you, Liam? Not really, bro. Not really.
- 30:54Speaker 8: I know.
- 30:54Speaker 1: I know the feeling. Hey, what would you rather, NRL
- 30:58Speaker 1: or Bathurst?
- 31:00Speaker 6: NRL, please. Good on you, mate.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Good on you. Stay on the line. I can't read it.
- 31:04Speaker 8: Natalie.
- 31:05Speaker 6: G'day, Natalie. Natalie.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Hello. How are you? Yeah, good, thank you. Fired up
- 31:09Speaker 1: for your Monday, Natalie? Just like the guy before.
- 31:12Speaker 6: Not really, but hey, we'll give it a go.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Yeah, good on you, mate. NRL, Bathurst?
- 31:17Speaker 9: Well, usually it would be Bathurst.
- 31:19Speaker 8: Bathurst, but not NRL this year.
- 31:22Speaker 6: Okay, good on you, mate.
- 31:23Speaker 1: You're on the draw. Stay on the line.
- 31:24Speaker 6: You hold the line, then Natalie Pugs will grab your deets.
- 31:27Speaker 6: All right, let's keep going, right?
- 31:28Speaker 1: Yeah, let's just do it. Kimmy, how's life? Oh, great, guys.
- 31:31Speaker 8: How are you guys doing?
- 31:33Speaker 1: Yeah, good, good. Good weekend, Kimmy?
- 31:36Speaker 12: Oh, yeah, so good.
- 31:37Speaker 4: Yeah, nice.
- 31:38Speaker 1: NRL, Bathurst? Bogan Christmas, Bathurst, please. All right, one for
- 31:42Speaker 1: Bogan Christmas.
- 31:43Speaker 6: Love that, Kimmy. You hold the line. CJ, how you going?
- 31:50Speaker 8: Good, thank you. How are you guys?
- 31:51Speaker 6: Yeah, good, thanks, mate.
- 31:51Speaker 8: Good, good, good.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Good weekend, CJ.
- 31:54Speaker 9: Yeah, it could have been better, to be honest. Yesterday
- 31:56Speaker 9: would have been the cherry on top.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Yeah, hear you, mate, hear you. NRL, Bathurst.
- 32:01Speaker 9: In light of yesterday's events, I'm afraid it's Bathurst.
- 32:04Speaker 6: Hey, pivoting to Bathurst. I like that, CJ. You're in
- 32:06Speaker 6: the draw, mate. You hold the line, all right? Fair enough.
- 32:09Speaker 6: Fair enough. All right, well, that's the last blitz of
- 32:12Speaker 6: Would You Rather Call Us Follows.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:14Speaker 6: It's bloody exciting stuff, man.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Hell of a trip.
- 32:16Speaker 6: Hell of a trip it is.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Sure is.
- 32:20Speaker 6: It's not Waz or Cars anymore, though, is it?
- 32:22Speaker 1: Nah.
- 32:22Speaker 6: It's Rugby League or Cars. Yeah, yeah.
- 32:26Speaker 7: I think, I mean, for me, I'd probably still pick
- 32:28Speaker 7: the NRL Grand Final just because of all the stuff
- 32:30Speaker 7: that goes on around it.
- 32:32Speaker 6: I've never been before. It'd be a hell of an occasion.
- 32:34Speaker 6: I have.
- 32:34Speaker 7: That's actually an absolute lie. I've never been when the
- 32:37Speaker 7: Warriors haven't been playing.
- 32:38Speaker 6: How about that? Yes. Because why would you?
- 32:41Speaker 7: But then also being able to go to the races,
- 32:44Speaker 7: which are out the gate over in Sydney, and that
- 32:45Speaker 7: boat cruise, even though I lived in Sydney, I never
- 32:47Speaker 7: did that. So that would be a bloody ripper.
- 32:49Speaker 6: Certainly would. And we've sunk a lot of time and
- 32:51Speaker 6: effort and energy into the NRL this season.
- 32:52Speaker 8: We have.
- 32:53Speaker 6: With passion. Yes. Why not see it through at the
- 32:55Speaker 6: grand final? But a reminder, we are calling the winner
- 32:58Speaker 6: after 8 o'clock. Make sure you get your phone on, fellas.
- 33:00Speaker 9: Yeah, beautiful.
- 33:01Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 33:12Speaker 12: Time for your latest sport headlines, thanks to Export Ultra,
- 33:14Speaker 12: the beer for here. The Warriors have been bundled out
- 33:17Speaker 12: of the NRL finals 12-10 by the Knights in front
- 33:21Speaker 12: of a full Eden Park.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Can you stop going on about it, man?
- 33:25Speaker 6: He's reading the news, Jase. I've just about forgotten about that.
- 33:28Speaker 12: Yeah, so that was about the Waz they lost last night, eh, Jase?
- 33:32Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 33:34Speaker 12: To NPC now.
- 33:35Speaker 6: Oh, hang on. Was that the end of it?
- 33:36Speaker 11: Yeah, that was basically it.
- 33:37Speaker 8: Oh, okay.
- 33:37Speaker 6: Hang on.
- 33:38Speaker 8: Ken Radbrim. Sweet.
- 33:40Speaker 12: Thanks for that.
- 33:40Speaker 6: We needed that.
- 33:42Speaker 12: Do you care about NPC?
- 33:44Speaker 6: I do.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Love it. Okay.
- 33:46Speaker 12: Taranaki have beaten Southland 55-19 to complete round eight of
- 33:51Speaker 12: the NPC.
- 33:53Speaker 6: Ten Rust Ken. The break is.
- 34:03Speaker 12: have opened their new ANBL basketball season with a 95-81
- 34:08Speaker 12: win over the Hawks.
- 34:09Speaker 8: Wow.
- 34:10Speaker 12: Have you got another sting there?
- 34:12Speaker 6: I shouldn't have asked.
- 34:15Speaker 12: Do you care about Premier League?
- 34:18Speaker 6: Oh, it depends. I'll find out once I hear it.
- 34:22Speaker 12: Manchester City and Liverpool have had wins. Leeds and Crystal
- 34:28Speaker 12: Palace drew, as did Man United and Fulham.
- 34:31Speaker 6: I don't care about Crystal Palace or Fulham.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I couldn't care less.
- 34:34Speaker 6: Gotta leave those out. Oh, hang on.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Porn Rudd kid.
- 34:38Speaker 6: Porn Rudd kid. Good stuff. Yeah. Is that it done?
- 34:42Speaker 8: That's all.
- 34:43Speaker 6: That's all for now.
- 34:43Speaker 12: I'll be back at 8.30ish.
- 34:45Speaker 6: Look forward to it.
- 34:46Speaker 8: Good on you, Bryn.
- 34:47Speaker 6: Good stuff, man. Good stuff. Hey, fellas, coming up next
- 34:52Speaker 6: this hour, the official scores for Come Dine With Me.
- 34:55Speaker 8: Wow. Yeah, nice.
- 34:56Speaker 6: All right.
- 34:57Speaker 8: Wow.
- 34:57Speaker 6: I hope you're feeling generous this morning. Well... You better
- 35:03Speaker 6: be feeling generous.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Don't just say tune.
- 35:09Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 35:13Speaker 6: Yes, indeed.
- 35:13Speaker 5: Pearl Jam there on the Big Show Breakfast this Monday morning.
- 35:17Speaker 5: The time, 20 minutes, 8 o'clock. Now, it was come
- 35:19Speaker 5: dine with the fellas, Keezy edition.
- 35:22Speaker 8: Yep.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Over the weekend, an Italian theme there, Keezy.
- 35:26Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right. So the three, well, the four of
- 35:28Speaker 6: us actually, Pugs as well, we are each taking turns
- 35:31Speaker 6: to host each other, having a dinner party like the
- 35:33Speaker 6: TV show Come Dine With Me. Mogi, you were first.
- 35:35Speaker 6: Hot Pot Mogi. That's right. Served up a delicious hot pot,
- 35:38Speaker 6: hosted everyone and their partners. We then scored the entree, main,
- 35:42Speaker 6: and dessert and entertainment out of a possible 10 for each.
- 35:45Speaker 8: Yes.
- 35:46Speaker 6: So a total score out of 40. Yes. Jase, you
- 35:49Speaker 6: were second. You did a late winter Christmas.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Yes.
- 35:52Speaker 6: And you had Secret Santa. You had a ham there
- 35:55Speaker 6: and some taties and a lot of duck fat flying around.
- 35:58Speaker 8: Yeah, man.
- 35:59Speaker 6: Good stuff. So it was my turn. I went Italian-themed.
- 36:02Speaker 6: Jase has never been to Europe. He simply must go.
- 36:05Speaker 6: So we had an entree of mozzarella skewers. We had
- 36:08Speaker 6: some lasagna and some cannelloni, some tiramisu as well. And
- 36:12Speaker 6: we will be getting into the full scoring four. Come
- 36:15Speaker 6: down with me next. Mike, you were still working on
- 36:18Speaker 6: your scores this morning. You got them penciled in. I do. Okay. Jase? Oh, yeah,
- 36:23Speaker 6: I do. Oh, God. All right, that's next.
- 36:26Speaker 2: The Hodaki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 36:29Speaker 2: in weekdays at four on Radio Hodaki.
- 36:32Speaker 1: You're welcome back, you massive backbones.
- 36:33Speaker 5: You're listening to The Big Show Breakfast this Monday morning,
- 36:36Speaker 5: but right now it's time for.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Come Dine With.
- 36:42Speaker 6: The Fearless.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Yes, indeed, the Keezy edition.
- 36:46Speaker 6: Yeah, Keezy edition. It was Italian fellas. So in this
- 36:50Speaker 6: first part here, you'll be ranking my dishes, my entree
- 36:53Speaker 6: and my main out of a possible 10. Who'd like
- 36:55Speaker 6: to go first? Where did Jake end? I went first
- 36:57Speaker 6: last time. All right, Jase.
- 36:59Speaker 8: Okay.
- 36:59Speaker 1: So what, we're doing entree?
- 37:01Speaker 8: So, yes.
- 37:01Speaker 6: So for entree, there was mozzarella skewers with buffalo, mozzarella, basil, tomato,
- 37:06Speaker 6: and prosciutto ham, and also a little bonus, some Keezy
- 37:10Speaker 6: ham and pineapple pizza.
- 37:11Speaker 1: I'm going to have to score you very harshly for this, Keezy.
- 37:14Speaker 8: Yep.
- 37:15Speaker 5: There was no cooking per se in this particular element,
- 37:20Speaker 5: but I very much enjoyed it.
- 37:22Speaker 1: So I'm going to give you an eight out of 10.
- 37:26Speaker 6: I mean, I cooked the pizza. Yeah, thanks, Jason. That's appreciated. Okay.
- 37:30Speaker 11: We're going over to me now, fellas.
- 37:31Speaker 6: G'day, guys.
- 37:32Speaker 11: Pugs here.
- 37:33Speaker 3: Keezy, I just want to say, I'd be remiss if
- 37:35Speaker 3: I didn't say your commitment to the atmosphere was the
- 37:37Speaker 3: best that we've had so far.
- 37:39Speaker 6: Okay, thank you.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Getting into your entree, though. Very fresh, great veg alternative there.
- 37:44Speaker 3: A great gag option there with the pizza. That's a
- 37:48Speaker 3: good bit. I think there could have been a little
- 37:50Speaker 3: more risk with this entree.
- 37:53Speaker 11: Maybe a little tiny something extra just on there. But otherwise,
- 37:56Speaker 11: very fresh. So I've rated your entree an 8 out
- 38:00Speaker 11: of 10.
- 38:00Speaker 8: Cool.
- 38:00Speaker 6: Coming up for a very risky entree for Pugson when
- 38:03Speaker 6: he hosts. Wow. Well, I have to judge it based
- 38:12Speaker 6: on how I've judged everybody else's. Chase, I gave you
- 38:15Speaker 6: an 8.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Yes.
- 38:16Speaker 6: But you cooked bread.
- 38:18Speaker 8: Yes.
- 38:19Speaker 6: You made little cheesecakes, handmade the base, all these sorts
- 38:21Speaker 6: of things. Yes. And with this, there was no cooking involved.
- 38:26Speaker 6: I have to give it a six. I have to
- 38:29Speaker 6: give it a six. Man, brutal. Well, I can only
- 38:32Speaker 6: do it based on what I've given other people. And
- 38:34Speaker 6: Jase put a hell of a lot of work into it.
- 38:37Speaker 6: And so I just have to do it. I'm sorry.
- 38:39Speaker 6: That's all right. We don't have a history of packing
- 38:42Speaker 6: a sad over getting a six out of ten on
- 38:43Speaker 6: the show.
- 38:45Speaker 11: Is that the first six since that six?
- 38:48Speaker 6: Yes, it is. Wow.
- 38:50Speaker 1: So Maine.
- 38:51Speaker 6: Time for the Maine. Time for the Maine. The Maine,
- 38:52Speaker 6: which was a hearty beef lasagna. A hearty beef lasagna.
- 38:56Speaker 6: And a spinach and ricotta cannelloni.
- 38:58Speaker 1: And a lovely fresh salad on the side there.
- 39:01Speaker 6: A fresh rocket salad.
- 39:01Speaker 5: Look, it was a very simple meal, but I've got
- 39:05Speaker 5: to say, very delicious. I very much enjoyed the lasagna.
- 39:11Speaker 5: Had a very creamy texture, which I appreciated. Nice fresh
- 39:16Speaker 5: salad on the side there. Look, I enjoyed the main.
- 39:19Speaker 5: I'll give it a 9 out of 10.
- 39:22Speaker 6: That's what I'm talking about, Jase. Thank you, Jase. It's great, man.
- 39:24Speaker 11: I also, I agree.
- 39:25Speaker 3: It was very wholesome West Auckland Italian, as I've been saying.
- 39:30Speaker 3: I was lucky enough to get a little doggy bag
- 39:32Speaker 3: to take home.
- 39:33Speaker 6: Oh, were you?
- 39:34Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 39:34Speaker 11: I smashed it within the hour. It was that good.
- 39:37Speaker 6: It was delicious.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Yes, you did.
- 39:38Speaker 6: You were also massively hungover, weren't you? That's okay, though.
- 39:41Speaker 3: That does not affect my judging.
- 39:44Speaker 8: Muggy.
- 39:45Speaker 11: And I also appreciated, again, the veg option for my partner, cannelloni.
- 39:48Speaker 3: However, that's her specialty dish, so I've been really conditioned
- 39:52Speaker 3: by her cannelloni, which is a 10 out of 10
- 39:54Speaker 3: every time, fellas.
- 39:56Speaker 11: And I like the fresh salad, too.
- 39:58Speaker 3: That was a nice little crisp, cold accompaniment to the
- 40:01Speaker 3: rest of it.
- 40:02Speaker 11: I've given your main an 8.
- 40:04Speaker 6: Out of 10. Thank you. My turn. My turn to
- 40:11Speaker 6: rate them. The problem that I've got with Italian food
- 40:14Speaker 6: is I don't like it. I don't like Italian food.
- 40:17Speaker 6: But I did like this. Keezy's freaking out over here. No, no,
- 40:21Speaker 6: I just wish I'd known this before I did Italy
- 40:23Speaker 6: as my thing. Well, this is a trouble. You don't. But, yes,
- 40:28Speaker 6: I love both of the dishes, but I had to
- 40:30Speaker 6: mark it down because the lasagna was made three days before. Mm-hmm.
- 40:35Speaker 6: And the cannelloni a couple of days before. And with
- 40:38Speaker 6: Come Dine With Me, part of it is you make
- 40:39Speaker 6: your meals on the day. So I had to mark
- 40:41Speaker 6: it down for that. For that reason, I've given it
- 40:43Speaker 6: a seven. Right, I didn't know that was a rule. Okay.
- 40:47Speaker 6: Brutal from Mogi. Oh, my God. There you go.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Far out.
- 40:53Speaker 6: No, no, it's good. I just need to hang on.
- 40:55Speaker 6: He's processing. He's processing. Give him a moment. Slimmy. Maybe just.
- 41:05Speaker 6: No, okay, you just go.
- 41:06Speaker 1: What, with the song?
- 41:08Speaker 6: Yeah, Guns N' Roses.
- 41:09Speaker 1: Yeah, Guns N' Roses.
- 41:11Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 41:15Speaker 5: Guns N' Roses there on the Big Show breakfast this
- 41:21Speaker 5: Monday morning, and we're doing the marking for.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Come.
- 41:27Speaker 6: Dine With.
- 41:29Speaker 6: The feelings kisi edition you came out to my trattoria
- 41:33Speaker 6: in west auckland and we had an italian meal um
- 41:36Speaker 6: we've had the entree in the main so far which
- 41:39Speaker 6: have been all g yeah um so i'm excited to
- 41:44Speaker 6: hear about the dessert which was a tiramisu which i
- 41:46Speaker 6: know was not good.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Enough can i also just give you credit kisi for
- 41:51Speaker 3: the homemade limoncello Thank you.
- 41:52Speaker 11: Because that was really yum. Those cocktails were great.
- 41:55Speaker 3: And you were, your service as a barman was out
- 41:58Speaker 3: the gate.
- 41:59Speaker 6: It was excellent.
- 41:59Speaker 3: There was not a moment where you weren't booking it
- 42:02Speaker 3: through your lounge to get another one made for everybody.
- 42:04Speaker 6: To be honest, I thought my vibe was too stressful.
- 42:08Speaker 11: It was a little bit stressful, but you were loving it.
- 42:10Speaker 6: In a funny, flamboyant way. This is the thing that
- 42:13Speaker 6: doesn't get scored. We don't get scored on the theme.
- 42:16Speaker 6: You don't get scored on how much laughing you did.
- 42:18Speaker 6: You don't get scored on the drinks at the start.
- 42:23Speaker 6: or the stress you don't get scored on any of
- 42:25Speaker 6: that it was yet again the same as all of
- 42:27Speaker 6: the others we had an absolute ball but sadly for
- 42:29Speaker 6: you Keezy or happily you don't get marked on any
- 42:32Speaker 6: of that no you know you going you and your
- 42:35Speaker 6: wife going back and forth to the kitchen there was
- 42:37Speaker 6: just absolutely magnificent thoroughly enjoyed I mean we didn't see
- 42:41Speaker 6: you for an hour and a half closed the little
- 42:44Speaker 6: door well the lasagna took a lot longer than the
- 42:47Speaker 6: old recipe said but that's okay we should probably move
- 42:50Speaker 6: on so it's time for the dessert rankings and I'm
- 42:52Speaker 6: very Very confident with the dessert.
- 42:53Speaker 8: Yes.
- 42:54Speaker 1: The tiramisu.
- 42:56Speaker 6: Aye.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Which I'm very fond of, by the way. Now, look,
- 42:59Speaker 1: I'll be honest with you, it was a visual abomination.
- 43:02Speaker 6: It was.
- 43:05Speaker 1: But I've also got to be honest with you, that
- 43:08Speaker 1: is right up my alley.
- 43:10Speaker 12: Right.
- 43:10Speaker 5: In terms of taste and textures for dessert. It was
- 43:16Speaker 5: really delicious.
- 43:17Speaker 6: I loved it.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I'm giving your dessert, Keezy. A nine.
- 43:22Speaker 6: No, you can't.
- 43:23Speaker 8: Why?
- 43:23Speaker 6: This is bullshit.
- 43:24Speaker 8: Why?
- 43:24Speaker 1: Because it looks terrible.
- 43:25Speaker 6: This is ridiculous.
- 43:26Speaker 8: Why?
- 43:26Speaker 6: You can't just be throwing around nines and eights because
- 43:30Speaker 6: you don't want to hurt Keezy's feelings. I like the tiramisu.
- 43:33Speaker 6: What's the problem?
- 43:34Speaker 1: I love the tiramisu. I'm basing it on the taste,
- 43:37Speaker 1: not on how it was visually presented. Which is part
- 43:40Speaker 1: of it. Taste-wise, I loved it.
- 43:43Speaker 6: Thanks, Jase.
- 43:45Speaker 11: Now I'm nervous for mine.
- 43:47Speaker 6: There you go.
- 43:50Speaker 11: Absolutely scrumptious, Keezy.
- 43:52Speaker 6: Looked like shit, though, folks.
- 43:53Speaker 11: It certainly lacked a bit of structure.
- 43:56Speaker 6: It was a bowl of soup. Well, not soup, but.
- 43:59Speaker 3: And, look, the entertainment factor at dessert time was 10
- 44:03Speaker 3: out of 10. So I'm going to give your tiramisu
- 44:06Speaker 3: an overall 8 out of 10.
- 44:07Speaker 6: Right, thank you. Okay. Now it's Mogi's turn. I don't
- 44:12Speaker 6: like tiramisu. LAUGHTER I don't.
- 44:18Speaker 7: I have never liked tiramisu in my life. I don't
- 44:20Speaker 7: like anything that tastes like coffee that isn't coffee. And
- 44:25Speaker 7: that said, I've had one good tiramisu in my life,
- 44:29Speaker 7: and it was absolutely delicious. So done right, it can
- 44:32Speaker 7: absolutely be amazing. Now, I would have given, I said
- 44:36Speaker 7: at the time, that is the second best tiramisu I've
- 44:39Speaker 7: ever had. So I would have given your tiramisu an eight,
- 44:43Speaker 7: except we spent the entire time We were eating the tiramisu, listening.
- 44:48Speaker 6: To you bag the tiramisu. Yeah. So if we just
- 44:53Speaker 6: moved on, it was what it was, but you were
- 44:55Speaker 6: pointing at how terrible it was for a solid 25 minutes.
- 44:59Speaker 6: You're freaking out. And we had to spend all of
- 45:01Speaker 6: our time telling you how great it was, and so
- 45:04Speaker 6: for that reason, I'm giving it a seven. Okay, yeah,
- 45:07Speaker 6: fair enough. Yeah, that's fair. It was shit, though, fellas,
- 45:09Speaker 6: and I apologize.
- 45:12Speaker 1: I really enjoyed it.
- 45:13Speaker 8: I did.
- 45:13Speaker 11: It was so yum.
- 45:14Speaker 8: Yeah, it was delicious.
- 45:15Speaker 6: It was very yummy. It was just gutted, you know?
- 45:16Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Right, entertainment. This was challenging.
- 45:19Speaker 6: Okay, because it was a wine tasting. I had three
- 45:22Speaker 6: bottles of wine. We have to be quick with this too, fellas.
- 45:23Speaker 6: We had three bottles of wine, one expensive one, one mid-range,
- 45:26Speaker 6: and one dirt cheap one that I opened three days prior.
- 45:29Speaker 8: Yes.
- 45:32Speaker 5: Look, I wasn't a fan of that because it was
- 45:34Speaker 5: just foul. I found everything I tasted to be foul
- 45:37Speaker 5: and then I had to spittoon it out.
- 45:39Speaker 1: So that was challenging. So for that reason, I'm giving
- 45:43Speaker 1: you a seven, Keezy.
- 45:44Speaker 6: Right, okay.
- 45:45Speaker 11: For me, I thought it was really well thought out.
- 45:48Speaker 11: You structured everything.
- 45:49Speaker 3: You had set up a separate room and it was
- 45:52Speaker 3: a fun exercise and activity for me.
- 45:53Speaker 1: I love wine.
- 45:55Speaker 3: But I'm shit at wine tasting. So I really enjoy
- 45:58Speaker 3: doing that, and the competition element was a fun dynamic,
- 46:00Speaker 3: and you reading everything out at the end was very funny.
- 46:03Speaker 3: So for that reason, entertainment, I'm giving you an eight.
- 46:05Speaker 6: Thank you. Oh, Moggy. I don't like wine tasting.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I hate wine tasting.
- 46:11Speaker 7: I've never done a wine tasting before, but it was
- 46:15Speaker 7: really good because it got all the partners involved as well.
- 46:19Speaker 7: What that pretty much meant was I just parked my
- 46:22Speaker 7: opinion And we went with whatever she said, ultimately.
- 46:26Speaker 6: And you won. Well, this is the thing, Keezy. Now,
- 46:29Speaker 6: you know, if my opinion had any sort of weight
- 46:35Speaker 6: in the room, you know, we would have won outright.
- 46:37Speaker 6: But sadly, it didn't. That's not your fault. No. Now, normally,
- 46:43Speaker 6: I would have given that an eight. Okay.
- 46:46Speaker 7: But because I won, I'm going to give it a nine.
- 46:49Speaker 6: Nine. No, but because two of the people there don't
- 46:53Speaker 6: even drink, and you made them participate, I'm giving it
- 46:57Speaker 6: a 10 because that was hilarious. There's a whole story
- 47:02Speaker 6: around that which we'll get into later. But in the meantime,
- 47:04Speaker 6: coming up after 8 o'clock, would you rather, if you
- 47:07Speaker 6: got yourself in the draw for that competition, make sure
- 47:10Speaker 6: your phone is on. We'll be calling you soon.

- 47:58Speaker 6: One simple question. One weekend of a lifetime. Would you rather...
- 48:03Speaker 6: That's right fellas, over the last three weeks we've given
- 48:06Speaker 6: you the chance to get in the draw for our
- 48:07Speaker 6: latest epic boys trip across the ditch. Later on this month,
- 48:12Speaker 6: sorry in October, it is Would You Rather, the NRL
- 48:14Speaker 6: Grand Final or Mount Panorama Bathurst 1000. It's either the
- 48:19Speaker 6: weekend of your life at the NRL Grand Final with
- 48:21Speaker 6: the races on the Saturday and a pre-match cruise to
- 48:23Speaker 6: the game on Sunday or three nights in Sydney with
- 48:26Speaker 6: Shaddles 2 in front Bathurst both Saturday and Sunday. Whichever
- 48:29Speaker 6: trip you chose, it was all thanks to the legends,
- 48:32Speaker 6: our mates at boystrip.co.nz who organise every single thing. So
- 48:36Speaker 6: all you need is a passport and a mate and
- 48:38Speaker 6: you're sorted. Over 240 people got themselves in the draw.
- 48:41Speaker 1: Fellas, should we call a winner? I think we do it, fellas.
- 48:45Speaker 1: I can just see all these New Zealanders, everyone across
- 48:48Speaker 1: the nation, poised by their phones.
- 48:51Speaker 6: Here we go. Please pick up.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Come on.
- 49:02Speaker 8: Now. Speaking.
- 49:04Speaker 1: G'day, is that Richard, is it?
- 49:07Speaker 9: It sure is.
- 49:08Speaker 6: G'day, Richard.
- 49:08Speaker 5: It's Hoity, Jay, Mogi and Keezy from the big show Breakfast.
- 49:12Speaker 5: How are you going, you mad bastard?
- 49:15Speaker 8: Oh, very well.
- 49:16Speaker 9: Very well indeed, fellas.
- 49:17Speaker 1: How are you? Yeah, very good. Thank you.
- 49:28Speaker 9: Oh, I went to the NRL.
- 49:30Speaker 6: The NRL. Yeah.
- 49:32Speaker 1: Hey, well, great news for you, Richard. You and whoever
- 49:35Speaker 1: you choose to take with you are off to the
- 49:38Speaker 1: NRL grand final. Woo-hoo! Oh, mate.
- 49:44Speaker 6: Oh, no way.
- 49:45Speaker 9: Oh, jeez.
- 49:47Speaker 6: That is awesome.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Good.
- 49:51Speaker 6: Congratulations, Richard, mate. You're heading over to Sydney, man. You're
- 49:55Speaker 6: going to go to the Randwick races on the Saturday,
- 49:57Speaker 6: on the Sunday, a little boat cruise, and you want
- 49:58Speaker 6: to watch the NRL Grand Final as well, mate. Who
- 50:00Speaker 6: are you going to take with you?
- 50:03Speaker 9: Oh, gee. I guess first rider refusal might have to
- 50:06Speaker 9: go to my wife, but hopefully I might be able
- 50:08Speaker 9: to get it. Yeah, hopefully there might be a mate
- 50:11Speaker 9: or two hanging in the wings to get on board.
- 50:14Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 50:14Speaker 6: How bloody good, mate.
- 50:15Speaker 7: I don't know if you had a rough one watching
- 50:17Speaker 7: the Warriors yesterday, and if you woke up feeling a
- 50:20Speaker 7: little bit down in the dumps, but this has got
- 50:21Speaker 7: to cheer you up.
- 50:23Speaker 9: Oh, mate, that's going to help along. Yeah, I've been
- 50:26Speaker 9: sad last night, but at least I'll be able to
- 50:28Speaker 9: watch the grand final without that stress as well, though.
- 50:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true, mate. That's a really good point, Richard. Hey, well, congratulations, mate.
- 50:36Speaker 1: You enjoy that prize.
- 50:38Speaker 6: All right?
- 50:40Speaker 9: Oh, thanks, guys. Really appreciate it. And big ups to
- 50:44Speaker 9: Boyce Tripp as well. Really appreciate it.
- 50:46Speaker 6: No worries at all, Richard. Oh, thanks.
- 50:48Speaker 1: Good on you, mate.
- 50:51Speaker 6: You hold the line there. Have a bloody good trip,
- 50:53Speaker 6: all right?
- 50:55Speaker 8: Will do.
- 50:55Speaker 9: Cheers, fellas. Thanks a lot. No worries.
- 50:57Speaker 1: No worries.
- 50:57Speaker 6: Guys, top bloke.
- 50:59Speaker 1: Lovely fella. Yeah, lovely fella.
- 51:00Speaker 6: Stoked. Such a good point, though. The grand final with
- 51:03Speaker 6: no pressure. You're just there, probably in your Waz jersey.
- 51:06Speaker 7: I mean, I've got a ticket, I've got flights. I
- 51:08Speaker 7: was literally been thinking about going, you know, when the
- 51:10Speaker 7: wars were in it and how little I'd be enjoying it.
- 51:13Speaker 7: You'd just be sitting there just dying a death the.
- 51:16Speaker 6: Entire time, completely unable to enjoy it unless you're up
- 51:18Speaker 6: by 50 or down by 50. Yes. So this is
- 51:22Speaker 6: an interesting topic we might have to touch on shortly,
- 51:24Speaker 6: which is what's Mogi going to do with his ticket
- 51:26Speaker 6: and flights?
- 51:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 51:28Speaker 1: Well, there's also the cruise and all that, sort of
- 51:30Speaker 1: the races.
- 51:31Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 51:31Speaker 1: Everything's paid for, your accommodation, your flight's all good.
- 51:34Speaker 6: It'll be hissing over in Sydney as well. Big shout
- 51:37Speaker 6: out to boystrip.co.nz for sussing everything out. Very jealous of Richard.
- 51:41Speaker 6: He's got one hell of a trip coming up, fellas.
- 51:44Speaker 8: Hey.
- 51:45Speaker 6: At a Lincoln Park.
- 51:45Speaker 2: The Hodaki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 51:49Speaker 2: in weekdays at four on Radio Hodaki.
- 51:51Speaker 5: Oasis there on the Radio Hodaki Big Show this Monday morning.
- 51:56Speaker 1: The time is 8.22. Now, Mogi, of course, you were
- 51:59Speaker 1: fully anticipating the WAs being in the final. Well, you
- 52:02Speaker 1: were hopeful.
- 52:03Speaker 5: You were very hopeful that they'd be in the final.
- 52:06Speaker 5: So you got stuck into the idea of going to
- 52:08Speaker 5: that grand final. What are you going to do now?
- 52:11Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right. I got flights. I got tickets. It
- 52:15Speaker 6: felt like this year was different, didn't it, Keezy? It
- 52:17Speaker 6: certainly did.
- 52:17Speaker 1: It did.
- 52:18Speaker 6: Especially when you booked those. The wars were flying. Not
- 52:21Speaker 6: long after. I think probably we went Penrith. We beat Penrith.
- 52:24Speaker 6: The following week we flogged the Broncos. So riding in
- 52:27Speaker 6: and around there, everyone's feeling pretty, pretty good.
- 52:31Speaker 7: And what I didn't want to happen was to miss out.
- 52:33Speaker 7: So you've got to get in. So now I've got
- 52:36Speaker 7: a flight there. I don't have a flight back. Never
- 52:38Speaker 7: got the flight back. And I've got a ticket to
- 52:41Speaker 7: the grand final, which now has two teams. Now, I
- 52:43Speaker 7: don't know who's in the grand final, but what I
- 52:45Speaker 7: do know is I don't care who wins out of
- 52:48Speaker 7: any of them.
- 52:48Speaker 6: I hope they all lose. Yes.
- 52:50Speaker 7: So I've got an option here. One of my options,
- 52:52Speaker 7: of course, is to sell my grand final ticket because
- 52:56Speaker 7: they will sell easily. Once everyone knows who's in the finals,
- 52:58Speaker 7: the fans will.
- 52:59Speaker 6: Snap them up. But I'm sort of thinking maybe... I
- 53:02Speaker 6: just hold on to that ticket for the grand final
- 53:05Speaker 6: because that way I'm depriving a fan of a team
- 53:08Speaker 6: that I hate. Like a Roosters fan. A Roosters fan
- 53:11Speaker 6: or a Panthers fan.
- 53:13Speaker 7: The opportunity to see their team raise the trophy, raise the.
- 53:17Speaker 6: Shield of victory. We should buy more tickets. We should
- 53:20Speaker 6: buy as many tickets as we can to deprive other
- 53:22Speaker 6: fans because why should... Why should we have to watch
- 53:25Speaker 6: other fans enjoy the success of their team when we've
- 53:27Speaker 6: been robbed?
- 53:28Speaker 8: Yeah, totally.
- 53:28Speaker 6: Well, because this is what's great is that the Waas,
- 53:31Speaker 6: I think, had bought the highest percentage of tickets to
- 53:33Speaker 6: the grand final, right? Yes, that's right. And now today,
- 53:36Speaker 6: Waas fans are going to be listing their tickets.
- 53:38Speaker 8: Don't.
- 53:38Speaker 6: Keep them and make it an empty grand final. An
- 53:42Speaker 6: absolutely empty stadium. How good would that be?
- 53:45Speaker 1: Guys, I.
- 53:45Speaker 6: So in that way, we're kind of there.
- 53:47Speaker 1: Yes.
- 53:48Speaker 6: We're a part of the big day without being obviously
- 53:50Speaker 6: on the field, but we can make our presence known
- 53:52Speaker 6: by not being there often.
- 53:54Speaker 5: A picture paints a thousand words, Mogi, and an empty
- 53:57Speaker 5: seat says a lot.
- 53:59Speaker 6: Boom, Jase, that was awesome.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you. I actually bought 20 tickets.
- 54:04Speaker 6: To the grand final?
- 54:05Speaker 1: Yeah, because scalping is my kind of sideline.
- 54:09Speaker 6: You know what I mean? That's right, yeah. What are
- 54:11Speaker 6: you going to do, sell them?
- 54:12Speaker 1: No, I'm going to be like Mogi. I'm not going
- 54:14Speaker 1: to sell. I'm just going to keep them.
- 54:16Speaker 6: Empty seats.
- 54:16Speaker 1: There'll be a row of empty seats as a protest
- 54:20Speaker 1: from the Warriors fans.
- 54:22Speaker 6: Boom, that's what we're doing. We should honestly start this.
- 54:25Speaker 6: We should start this. discussing this on the show and
- 54:27Speaker 6: putting it out across our socials. Yeah, okay, so if
- 54:30Speaker 6: you're a Warriors fan, do not sell your grand final ticket.
- 54:33Speaker 6: Keep it, eat the loss financially, and make it so
- 54:37Speaker 6: the grand final is empty. Yeah, yeah. Real scumbag mentality.
- 54:42Speaker 2: The Hodaki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy.
- 54:45Speaker 6: Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hodaki.
- 54:58Speaker 12: Time for your latest sport headlines, thanks to Export Ultra,
- 55:01Speaker 12: the beer for here.
- 55:03Speaker 1: The Warriors....
- 55:05Speaker 11: Do you want me to mention this?
- 55:06Speaker 6: Yeah, no, carry on.
- 55:07Speaker 12: The Warriors' bid for a first NRL title will continue
- 55:10Speaker 12: into next year. Hopes have been removed after a 12-10
- 55:13Speaker 12: defeat to the Knights in front of a full Eden Park.
- 55:17Speaker 12: Fans have rained debris on the referees as they left
- 55:20Speaker 12: the field.
- 55:22Speaker 7: Can I just say, no matter what happens, that is
- 55:24Speaker 7: an absolute bullshit move.
- 55:26Speaker 8: Yeah, it is.
- 55:27Speaker 6: I was gutted when I saw that. It's an embarrassment
- 55:29Speaker 6: to the country, so congratulations.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Especially because Eden Park was so magnificent.
- 55:34Speaker 9: It was.
- 55:34Speaker 1: It was packed to the gunnels. It was a really
- 55:36Speaker 1: great spectacle.
- 55:37Speaker 6: What we want is the NRL loves the Waz fans.
- 55:40Speaker 6: Magic Round, packing out. What we don't want them to
- 55:43Speaker 6: do is start hating us, which is a real possibility
- 55:46Speaker 6: if we keep whinging. Anyway, carry on, Tin Rust Can.
- 55:50Speaker 8: Tin Rust Can.
- 55:54Speaker 12: Gordon Herbert's ANBL basketball coaching tenure at the Breakers has
- 55:58Speaker 12: started with a 95-81 win over the Hawks at Spark Arena.
- 56:03Speaker 6: Grim Nutskin.
- 56:07Speaker 12: The Black Foils have finished fifth. at the SailGP regatta
- 56:12Speaker 12: in Switzerland. Spain won that.
- 56:14Speaker 6: Oh, did they?
- 56:14Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, how good.
- 56:15Speaker 6: Oh, great. Not Spanish. Good stuff. You're Spaniol. Hey, um... Sorry, go, man.
- 56:21Speaker 6: Sorry there, Kizzy. Big butt face.
- 56:23Speaker 8: Sorry.
- 56:24Speaker 6: Just don't end, do that. Sorry.
- 56:25Speaker 1: Go, Jase, what were you saying? Yeah, I was going
- 56:27Speaker 1: to say, but... Jim Blomkin. It's been a pleasure as always, mate. Yes.
- 56:31Speaker 1: I'm having you on board, and all the best for
- 56:34Speaker 1: your future.
- 56:35Speaker 6: Yeah, sorry we had to let you go.
- 56:37Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 56:37Speaker 6: It sounds like Jase is sacking you, yeah.
- 56:39Speaker 8: Oh.
- 56:39Speaker 6: We're done.
- 56:40Speaker 7: Sadly, well, you know, look, it'd be great if you
- 56:41Speaker 7: could continue on, but the, you know, the Breakfast Boys,
- 56:44Speaker 7: Minaya and Jerry, have been quite clear. They don't want
- 56:47Speaker 7: you anywhere near the studio.
- 56:49Speaker 8: Yeah. Yeah, okay.
- 56:50Speaker 12: Fair enough, too.
- 56:51Speaker 6: But it's been fun, mate. Done a great job.
- 56:53Speaker 12: It has been a good time.
- 56:56Speaker 6: Bryn Rudkin, thank you so much for reading our sports news.
- 56:58Speaker 6: The Big Show will be back on Drive as of
- 57:00Speaker 6: tomorrow afternoon. Yeah, yeah. Minaya and Jerry will be back. Gene.
- 57:04Speaker 8: Bit of.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Velvet Revolver.
- 57:06Speaker 2: The Hodaki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 57:10Speaker 2: in weekdays at four on Radio Hodaki.
- 57:12Speaker 6: Yes, indeed.
- 57:13Speaker 5: Velvet Revolver on The Big Show. Breakfast this Monday morning.
- 57:16Speaker 5: The time, 25 minutes to nine o'clock.
- 57:19Speaker 6: If you didn't hear, just before eight o'clock, we did
- 57:22Speaker 6: the official scores for Keezy's Come Dine with the Fellas.
- 57:25Speaker 6: We're each hosting one another. We're having a dinner party.
- 57:27Speaker 6: If you'd like to see the videos, you can see
- 57:29Speaker 6: Jase and Mike's on the Hodaki Big Show Instagram page.
- 57:32Speaker 6: It's pinned to the top there.
- 57:34Speaker 3: And Keezy's edition will be out this evening, probably at
- 57:37Speaker 3: about 6 or 7 or something like that.
- 57:39Speaker 6: Good work, Pugs. You've got a mountain of footage to
- 57:41Speaker 6: get through there, fellas. But just one thing I'd like
- 57:43Speaker 6: to bring up. Oh, Pugs is here, by the way.
- 57:45Speaker 12: Hi.
- 57:46Speaker 6: One thing I decided to do, fellas, just to help
- 57:48Speaker 6: me process getting reviewed by you guys. Can I just say,
- 57:54Speaker 6: I think that was one of the most enjoyable pieces
- 57:56Speaker 6: of radio I've ever been a part of. The reviews
- 57:59Speaker 6: before 8 o'clock, I think, is some of the funniest stuff.
- 58:03Speaker 6: But I decided to rate the guests just because it
- 58:06Speaker 6: felt unfair being the only one getting rated. So I
- 58:08Speaker 6: was like, you know what? Let's rate the guests. Who
- 58:11Speaker 6: wants to go first? I think I should go last.
- 58:14Speaker 8: Okay.
- 58:16Speaker 6: We'll start with Mike. Mike arrived first, dressed in theme
- 58:21Speaker 6: because it was Italy. That's right. I did, but we
- 58:23Speaker 6: made a real effort on that. You did. You and
- 58:25Speaker 6: your partner, you guys were, you actually made an effort
- 58:28Speaker 6: in terms of dressing in theme. Yes. You arrived early.
- 58:31Speaker 6: You bought a bottle of Chianti Classico red wine, which
- 58:34Speaker 6: is in theme as well. Very nice bottle of wine.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Laughed a lot. Great source of vibes.
- 58:39Speaker 6: Ate tiramisu despite hating tiramisu. I gave you a 9
- 58:43Speaker 6: out of 10.
- 58:43Speaker 3: Oh, that's very good.
- 58:47Speaker 6: I try and be a good gift. Seriously, man. Yeah, yeah. Now,
- 58:50Speaker 6: I just need to let everyone know I wrote these
- 58:51Speaker 6: scores last night.
- 58:53Speaker 1: The pot off the bat.
- 58:56Speaker 6: Pugs.
- 58:57Speaker 1: Hello.
- 58:57Speaker 8: Hello.
- 58:58Speaker 6: Do you want to go next? Sure, man. Okay, bonus
- 59:01Speaker 6: points for showing up in a beret.
- 59:02Speaker 11: You're welcome.
- 59:03Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 59:04Speaker 11: You're welcome.
- 59:04Speaker 6: That was off-theme, though. Well, no. Europe.
- 59:07Speaker 11: Beret, massive shorts, and tassel loafers.
- 59:10Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right. That was for you guys.
- 59:11Speaker 1: And can I just say that it was my mother-in-law's beret.
- 59:15Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Which was tiny.
- 59:17Speaker 6: Long story, but yes, he was wearing Jase's mother-in-law's beret.
- 59:21Speaker 6: He was, however, also wearing a T-shirt and weird three-quarter shorts.
- 59:24Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 59:25Speaker 6: You're welcome. You arrived hungover, as did your partner. Both hungover.
- 59:29Speaker 6: I was gutted to hear that.
- 59:30Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 59:30Speaker 4: What?
- 59:31Speaker 6: I was gutted to hear that. Well, actually, my wife
- 59:34Speaker 6: and I had had a discussion the night before about
- 59:37Speaker 6: what we might get up to that evening.
- 59:40Speaker 7: And we was like, well, we can't do that because
- 59:42Speaker 7: we can't turn up. We've got Keezy's tomorrow. We can't
- 59:44Speaker 7: turn up hungover.
- 59:45Speaker 6: Yeah, so that genuinely. And then to have Pugs and
- 59:48Speaker 6: his partner turn up, it's like, oh, maybe I care
- 59:50Speaker 6: too much. No, no, no. Like, you guys were fine.
- 59:54Speaker 6: I didn't take anything away. I was just gutted to
- 59:55Speaker 6: hear that. I was like, oh, crap.
- 59:57Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 59:57Speaker 6: Because I had all these drinks. Yeah, but so?
- 59:59Speaker 11: I was driving.
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: Hey, hey, hey.
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: Hey, this is.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Hey.
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: We're not getting defensive around here, man.
- 1:00:05Speaker 11: It was date night, man.
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: I got on the hammer. You're not going to take
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: a fist to my ratings, are you?
- 1:00:09Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: Because that's not what the show is about, right? No comment. Okay.
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: You took a doggy bag. I like that.
- 1:00:15Speaker 11: Yeah, I was so grateful for that.
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: I've got a lot of lasagna still. There's so much lasagna.
- 1:00:19Speaker 11: Got your Tupperware, by the way.
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: Yeah, thank you. Did you wash it?
- 1:00:23Speaker 11: No.
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: Very complimentary of the food. However, one thing I don't
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: understand is when we were at Jace's place, we practically
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: couldn't get you out of the toilet. Yes. We had
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: a little joke in the toilet. We had a candle
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: and a box of matches, and it had a little
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: sign saying, For Pugsan XX. But you didn't go to
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: the toilet once. Why are you surprised I didn't go
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: to the toilet once?
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: Even if I were you, though, I would have thought something.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: Nah.
- 1:00:47Speaker 8: Nah.
- 1:00:47Speaker 11: Take your toilet and shove it.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: I knew that you weren't doing it deliberately because of that,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: because at one stage you went purple.
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: You were just holding on.
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: I was very careful about the amount of food that
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: I ate and the rate in which I ate it.
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: Yeah. just do poos at my house I don't care
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: man if that's your thing that's your thing nah shove
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: your poos everyone knows that that's your thing it's fine
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: okay 8 out of 10 oh wow okay Jase here
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: we go come on man okay Jase spent most of
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: his time vaping.
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: Yeah 100% he did um can I just say I
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: went out for a vape with him that is the
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: strongest thing I've ever had it's good stuff it was
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: unbelievable I couldn't I couldn't even it just canes the
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: back of your throat it was impossible it's beautiful.
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: Um Walked in with his CBD boots on straight onto
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: our white rug.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: I didn't know it was shoes off.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: Walking past all the shoes already at the door because
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: you were the last to arrive.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: I always find it, I've never sort of got that.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Take your shoes off, please.
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: But we take your shoes off at your place.
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: Well, that was just purely because of the banging downstairs.
- 1:01:58Speaker 8: That's all.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: But normally I don't do shoes off. No, totally.
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: It's just a joke.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: Let's not take these ratings personally, fellas.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Not at all.
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: Wore a Reburger hat, which, and I quote, you put
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: on when you can't be bothered doing your hair. They
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: sent a message to me. It was like, I can't
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: be bothered doing my hair for Keezy's. However, didn't complain
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: about late coffee service. You ordered a coffee. It took
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: 15 minutes. I'm sorry about that. It did take a long.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: Time, yeah.
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: But you were out in the kitchen. You didn't hear
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: him bickering out in the lounge. That's true. Well, he
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: hit it well. And great anecdotes. Best anecdotes of the night, Jase. Thanks, mate.
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: I do have to give you a 7 out of 10,
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: by the way, and I'm sorry about that. That's okay, Keezy.
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: I feel better now. This is good.
- 1:02:38Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: It's a new element to come down with the fellas,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: rating the guests.
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right.
- 1:02:44Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: That's right.
- 1:02:45Speaker 11: Do we all kind of get to do that now
- 1:02:46Speaker 11: for each one that you've been to?
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: No.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: The Hauraki Beat Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki. Taskmaster NZ is back.

- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Yes, indeed, your chance to win $ 500 cash, cash, cash.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: That's quite a healthy dollop of money on a Monday.
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: It's not bad, is it? This season of Taskmaster, you've
- 1:03:19Speaker 6: got Ray, Rose, Matafio, Dave Farne, Morgana, O'Reilly, Rhys Mathewson
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: and Hoane Hortene. Of course, every Monday and Tuesday night,
- 1:03:28Speaker 6: 7.30 on TVNZ2 and, of course, on TVNZ +, you
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: can stream it whenever you want to. All you have
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: to do is listen to the task that we set.
- 1:03:35Speaker 6: Jase is going to set the task today. And if
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: that person can get it right on 0800 HODUCKY, boom,
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: $ 500 cash.
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: Yes, man.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: G'day. Hope, how's life?
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: Life's good. How's yours?
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: Yeah, good, thanks. Good weekend there, Hope.
- 1:03:49Speaker 8: Oh, it wasn't too bad. It wasn't too bad.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Yeah, good on you, mate. Now, listen, the task we're
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: going to set you today, are you good with tongue twisters?
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: Um.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: We're going to find out.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: Hope, before we get started, what do you do for
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: a crust?
- 1:04:08Speaker 9: I'm not actually working at the moment.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Backbone.
- 1:04:12Speaker 7: You take a bit of time out for yourself, mate.
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: People who take time out for themselves are the backbone
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: of this country.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Bloody oath they are. Bloody oath.
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: All right, so, Hope, here's what's going to happen. Jase
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: is going to set you a tongue twister. You then
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: have to repeat it after him, all right? You get
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: three goes to get it correct.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Three?
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: I think so.
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: You ready, Hope?
- 1:04:34Speaker 8: Yep.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Peter Piper picked a pack of pickled peppers.
- 1:04:38Speaker 12: Peter Piper picked.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: A pack of pickled peppers.
- 1:04:41Speaker 12: No.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: No.
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: One more time, Jase.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: Peter Piper picked a pack of pickled peppers.
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: So that is Peter Piper picked a pack of pickled peppers.
- 1:04:49Speaker 8: Yep. Peter Piper picked a pack of pickled peppers. No.
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: Last chance. One more chance. One more chance, Hope.
- 1:04:56Speaker 8: Come on, you can do this.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Come on, you can do this, Hope.
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: Jase, one more time from you.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Peter Piper picked a pack of pickled peppers.
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peas peppers.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: No, I'm sorry.
- 1:05:07Speaker 11: I hope you've missed out.
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: You've missed out. No, no, you've missed out. So we've
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: got to be tough, man. Got to be tough. We're
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: not here to make friends. That's devastating. Yeah, we'll go
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: to another person now, I suppose. Who are we going
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: to go to there? Natalie. Oh, no. Yeah, Natalie.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Natalie, are you there?
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: Hello?
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: How are you going, Natalie?
- 1:05:27Speaker 9: Yeah, good. Thanks, guys.
- 1:05:29Speaker 7: Jeez, Natalie, you sound like you're a bit nervous, mate.
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: Are you excited to do a tongue twister with old
- 1:05:34Speaker 7: hoody jizz bot?
- 1:05:35Speaker 9: Oh, yeah, for sure.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: Did you hear what it was there, Natalie? Yes. All right,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: away you go.
- 1:05:42Speaker 12: Peter Piper picked a pack of pickled peppers.
- 1:05:50Speaker 8: Yay!
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: That's how you do it.
- 1:05:53Speaker 9: I'm never good with those things normally.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Yeah, that's great.
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: Well done, Natalie. You stepped up. You were a surprise
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: late inclusion and you nailed it straight away.
- 1:06:01Speaker 11: Well done.
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: Oh, thank you so much, guys. Your pure fear got
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: you over the line.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: Totally. Can I ask you, Natalie, what do you do
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: for a crust? Dairy farmers.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Oh, backbone.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: I tell you what, no one loves the farmers on
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: this show like the big show boys.
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: That's a great way of framing it.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: Yeah, it's been a.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Major of a morning.
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: Had a cow down first thing, a milk fever, so
- 1:06:23Speaker 5: that kind of pushed us back.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Half an hour.
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: Oh, well, there you go, Natalie. $ 500 and you're back
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: on track, mate. You hold the line and Pugs will
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: hand it to you personally, all right?
- 1:06:33Speaker 9: Oh, thanks so much, guys.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: No worries.
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: Have you ever had the milk fever before, Jase?
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: I do recall on my uncle's farm that there's a
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: little thing that happens with the cow urine. Right. And
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: it affects the farmer's lungs quite badly.
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: My uncle had it a couple of times and he'd
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: get very, very sick.
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: Because you're meant to drink the milk, eh? And often
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: the farmers will get confused. Yes, yes. A reminder, Taskmaster
- 1:06:58Speaker 6: New Zealand is back Mondays and Tuesdays, 7.30 on TVNZ2 and,
- 1:07:01Speaker 6: of course, on TVNZ +.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: I'm not going to be safe on the streets again,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: am I?
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: Stop offending the farmers. Jeez.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Here's Blink-182.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: Kings of Leon there on The Big Show. Breakfast this
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: Monday morning.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: Fellas, let's talk TV. What's on the telly with Mike Minogue.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: That's right.
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: Well, obviously over the weekend, fellas, well, I certainly watched
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: The Warriors.
- 1:07:36Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: Watched a little bit of Warriors.
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: But other than that, I watched the latest Harry Potter, well,
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: the latest in the series that I'm watching with my daughter,
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban or something.
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: Number three, yeah. Number three.
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: So my daughter and wife, they read the books and
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: then we watched the movie. I think the great direction,
- 1:07:58Speaker 7: really enjoyed it. Great film. I think I prefer the
- 1:08:01Speaker 7: second one more. But yeah, really well directed. The kids
- 1:08:05Speaker 7: have sort of all grown up a bit, you know,
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: which is good. It just made me think anybody would
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: have seen this. But it made me wonder why they
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: haven't done Harry Potter as an old dude, as a
- 1:08:14Speaker 7: grown up. Harry Potter as a man would be out
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: the gate. Harry Potter going around on the hammer and
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: all that sort of carry on.
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: They kind of like do a wee bit at the
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: end of the last book. Oh, do they? And I
- 1:08:24Speaker 6: believe one of the spinoff books is from the point
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: of view of Harry Potter's son.
- 1:08:28Speaker 8: Ah.
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: But like not a lot of that. I'd like to
- 1:08:30Speaker 6: see Harry Potter sort of go off the rails. Yeah,
- 1:08:32Speaker 6: from a life of a childhood star. Yes, that's right.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: In retirement.
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: And sort of stardom, because he's only at school, you see. Now,
- 1:08:38Speaker 7: what happens when Harry gets out in the real world?
- 1:08:41Speaker 6: Exactly. And stardom goes to his head, you see.
- 1:08:43Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:08:44Speaker 7: And then he's off the rails, he's on the gear,
- 1:08:45Speaker 7: he's on the booze, he's womanising, he's manising, all of
- 1:08:49Speaker 7: that stuff.
- 1:08:49Speaker 6: I'd love to watch that. Anyway, this one, four buzzies
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: out of a possible five. The third one's one of
- 1:08:54Speaker 6: my favourites. The fourth movie and book, he actually does
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: turn into a bit of an a-hole who thinks he's
- 1:08:59Speaker 6: the man.
- 1:08:59Speaker 8: Oh.
- 1:09:00Speaker 6: Great, does he?
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: I look forward to that. Yeah, it's quite good.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Fellas, I've been carrying on with The Tudors on Netflix.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: And actually, it is a pretty solid drama. Actually, I
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: like my period dramas. Of course, basically the premise of
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: Henry VIII. What a piece of work he was. So
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: many wives. And the pressure, the pressure of the wives
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: to have a son. Yeah. You know, in those times.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: They kept buggering it up. They kept having bloody daughters
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: all the time. And he was absolutely fuming.
- 1:09:32Speaker 6: He wasn't happy.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: And then, you know, his leg starts rotting away and
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: he starts eating heaps of food and then he doesn't
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: like his new wife. Has he got the sif yet?
- 1:09:45Speaker 6: He ends up with the cyst. Yeah, he does. The madness.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. But he's, despite all this power, despite all this,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: you know, all the stuff that he has in his life,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: he's a very miserable bastard. You know what I mean?
- 1:09:58Speaker 6: Careful what you wish for, Keezy. That's the thing, man.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: You've got to be careful what you wish for. I
- 1:10:02Speaker 6: worry about this with you. Well, like, I'll keep that
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: in mind if I find a genie. But isn't it
- 1:10:07Speaker 6: such a common thing where you see someone and you think, man,
- 1:10:08Speaker 6: they're They've got it all. They've got everything. Yeah, that's right.
- 1:10:11Speaker 6: They're still a miserable prick. You've got everything. You've got Sif.
- 1:10:14Speaker 6: You've got Gangrene in your leg. You've got Gangrene. You've
- 1:10:16Speaker 6: got eight wives, two of them without heads. You know? Yeah,
- 1:10:19Speaker 6: more daughters than you can throw a stick at.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: It's just not good.
- 1:10:23Speaker 6: How many buzzies out of five?
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: Look, it's really solid. I'll give it three and a half.
- 1:10:28Speaker 6: And that's on Netflix, The Shooters. Fellas, over the weekend,
- 1:10:32Speaker 6: I watched a documentary called Chef Jonathan Trang on the
- 1:10:37Speaker 6: Something Express show. It's on YouTube there. Big fabulous guy
- 1:10:41Speaker 6: who rides this really fancy train from Singapore up through
- 1:10:44Speaker 6: Malaysia and stops at restaurants along the way. What's the
- 1:10:46Speaker 6: sound of that? I love stuff like that.
- 1:10:48Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: What's the train like? The train was amazing. It was
- 1:10:50Speaker 6: very one of those old books, the Orient Express.
- 1:10:54Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:10:54Speaker 6: That sort of vibe, like old antique and really amazing.
- 1:10:59Speaker 6: Proper dining. The servants all have like bow ties and
- 1:11:02Speaker 6: make your bed for you and it's all very fancy. Nice.
- 1:11:05Speaker 6: Highly recommend. Can't remember the name of it.
- 1:11:07Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: I feel like I've seen it, actually. The name rings
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: a bell.
- 1:11:11Speaker 6: It's on YouTube there. Very, very good. Just search Fabulous
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: Man Train. Yeah, good stuff, Keezy. Bow tie.
- 1:11:18Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: How many buzzies was it?
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: 3.8.
- 1:11:22Speaker 8: No.
- 1:11:23Speaker 6: Yeah, it's good stuff.
- 1:11:23Speaker 8: Yeah, good.
- 1:11:24Speaker 6: Do you like REM? Have you heard of them?
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 1:11:31Speaker 5: The Black Crowes there on the Big Show Big Breakfast
- 1:11:33Speaker 5: this Monday morning. Now, we did a big poll today,
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: the Big Show Big Poll.
- 1:11:37Speaker 6: That's right. It was to do with the Warriors. We
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: talked about the Warriors at length earlier in the show,
- 1:11:41Speaker 6: if you missed it. Listen to the Hauraki Big Show podcast,
- 1:11:44Speaker 6: which comes out later today. But the Big Poll.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: The Big Poll.
- 1:11:49Speaker 8: The Big Poll.
- 1:11:55Speaker 6: Now, Mogi, you were the one that actually came up
- 1:11:58Speaker 6: with this big poll. Yeah, the Warriors robbed, yes or no? Yes.
- 1:12:02Speaker 7: You were fired up. There were, you know, I mean,
- 1:12:06Speaker 7: count them. How many decisions, particularly in the last 10 minutes,
- 1:12:08Speaker 7: there were three massive decisions, at least two of which
- 1:12:12Speaker 7: should have gone the other way. I'm not saying we
- 1:12:13Speaker 7: would have won the grand final, but we lost an
- 1:12:14Speaker 7: opportunity to play in the grand final, or at least
- 1:12:16Speaker 7: the semi-final, so... Look, that's how I'm feeling. That's how
- 1:12:20Speaker 7: people seem to be feeling about it.
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: I've seen a lot of commentary come out of Australia,
- 1:12:23Speaker 6: you know, videos on Instagram there of different commentaries that
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: were broadcasting around the game and whether it be radio
- 1:12:29Speaker 6: or television, and all of them agreed we were robbed. Yeah,
- 1:12:34Speaker 6: all of them. All of them. It's weird that they
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: would all agree on something like that. Very rare.
- 1:12:38Speaker 7: It is weird, but it was good to see the
- 1:12:40Speaker 7: live commentaries and people saying, particularly with that... when Halasima
- 1:12:44Speaker 7: was taken out in front of the post with a
- 1:12:45Speaker 7: minute to go.
- 1:12:46Speaker 6: Yeah, that was a big one.
- 1:12:47Speaker 7: And everyone was saying, well, that's a definite penalty, so
- 1:12:50Speaker 7: we're going extra time, we're going extra time, and then
- 1:12:53Speaker 7: we're not going extra time.
- 1:12:54Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: Wow, was that in the Aussie commentary? All the Aussie stuff.
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: Because the New Zealand did it. Yeah, all the Aussie stuff. No,
- 1:12:59Speaker 6: that's right. So the New Zealanders were just sort of waiting.
- 1:13:01Speaker 6: But the Aussies, obviously, as commentators, are happy to be like, oh,
- 1:13:04Speaker 6: because it's the former players.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: Oh, we're going extra time, then fellas, blah, blah.
- 1:13:07Speaker 8: Blah, blah.
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: Andrew Voss. Andrew Voss.
- 1:13:09Speaker 7: That's been two points all year, and then absolutely shocked
- 1:13:13Speaker 7: that it was just waved away.
- 1:13:14Speaker 6: Absolutely shocked.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: It was weird how that was done, to be honest.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: It was just like, carry on, fellas.
- 1:13:19Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right. Now, look, should we have won the
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: game with a better attack?
- 1:13:25Speaker 7: You don't want to leave these decisions in the hands
- 1:13:27Speaker 7: of the refs, as you say, but you also don't
- 1:13:30Speaker 7: want a fair result to be lost as a result
- 1:13:34Speaker 7: of a lack of a decision or a bad decision
- 1:13:36Speaker 7: by the bunker.
- 1:13:36Speaker 6: And the thing they always say, and what Vossi touched
- 1:13:39Speaker 6: on there, is as long as you're consistent in the rulings,
- 1:13:43Speaker 6: then we're sweet. We don't care what the rule is.
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: And they're consistent with robbing the whas, Keezy. It's the
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: only thing they're consistent with, Jase. Yeah, man. The big
- 1:13:49Speaker 6: poll is up on the Hauraki Big Show's Instagram story.
- 1:13:52Speaker 6: You can vote yes or no. Do you guys want
- 1:13:54Speaker 6: to guess?
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Go on.
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: I think it's going to be pretty close. I think
- 1:13:57Speaker 6: probably 50-50. 50-50? The closer it is to the event, actually,
- 1:14:01Speaker 6: I'll probably go 70-30 that it is a robbery.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: 70-30?
- 1:14:05Speaker 6: Yeah, and as time goes on, people will go, oh, whatever.
- 1:14:07Speaker 6: What about you, Jase?
- 1:14:08Speaker 12: 60-40, yes, robbery.
- 1:14:11Speaker 6: Okay, well, it is 75% of the audience said yes,
- 1:14:14Speaker 6: we were wrong.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: Yeah, totally. Well, there you go.
- 1:14:16Speaker 6: Three quarters.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:14:18Speaker 6: See you next year. Up the wires. And 25% were wrong.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike, and Keezy. Tune

- 1:14:43Speaker 5: four to seven tomorrow, won't we, fellas?
- 1:14:45Speaker 6: We will. Looking forward to getting back in amongst our people.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, mate.
- 1:14:50Speaker 6: I love an early start, although my sleep has been
- 1:14:53Speaker 6: absolute garbage.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: It's been terrible.
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: So bad. It's really bad. I was literally awake from,
- 1:14:59Speaker 6: what was it, quarter to two this morning.
- 1:15:01Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:15:02Speaker 6: So I'm going straight home.

- 1:16:02Speaker 6: Something's going on.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: Well, I think, you know, the change of schedule hasn't helped.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: That's for sure. No, true. Keezy, your plans for the
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: rest of the day.
- 1:16:10Speaker 6: I'm going to go home and start packing my house.
- 1:16:12Speaker 6: We're not start. I'm still packing my house. I've got
- 1:16:14Speaker 6: to move out. And now that Come Dine With Me
- 1:16:16Speaker 6: is out of the way, the next big thing to
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: focus on is packing my entire house up.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Yeah, nice.
- 1:16:20Speaker 6: Because I have to move out soon. Yeah. Don't have
- 1:16:22Speaker 6: a house to go to. But that's all good. I'm
- 1:16:23Speaker 6: not freaking out. Yeah, don't worry about it.
- 1:16:25Speaker 9: It's chill.
- 1:16:25Speaker 6: It's chill.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: It'll work out, man. It'll work out.
- 1:16:30Speaker 6: One way or the other.
- 1:16:31Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:16:31Speaker 6: What does that mean?
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: It'll work out, Keezy. It'll be okay.
- 1:16:34Speaker 6: One way or the other. What are you doing, Jase?
- 1:16:36Speaker 6: Hot pot? No.
- 1:16:37Speaker 8: No.
- 1:16:38Speaker 6: Whoa, don't take offense to a hot pot.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Yeah, whoa. I don't know at this stage. Go home,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: just chill out for a little bit. Then my wife
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: gets back, maybe go and have some lunch and try
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: and get some sleep. I can't do nana naps. It
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: annoys me.
- 1:16:53Speaker 6: Well, with that attitude, you can't.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: But, you know, it's been a pleasure doing breakfast. As
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: I say, we'll be back on normal time tomorrow, four
