- 0:00- What if kneeling at the throne became more
- 0:02- than a moment?
- 0:04- Kneeling at the throne was written to help
- 0:05- you experience the power of prayer through God's
- 0:09- word.
- 0:09- But prayer was never meant to end when
- 0:11- you closed the book. It was meant to
- 0:14- become a way of living.
- 0:16- That's why we created the inner chamber.
- 0:18- The inner chamber is more than a membership.
- 0:21- It's a Christ centered community where believers come

- 0:26- intentional prayer, biblical teaching, and authentic encouragement.
- 0:31- Whether you are just beginning your prayer journey
- 0:33- or you've been walking with the Lord for

- 0:45- bible based teaching that strengthens your faith, guided
- 0:48- prayer experiences rooted in scripture,

- 1:01- If kneeling at the throne helped you take

- 1:06- you continue the journey
- 1:08- because prayer isn't simply an event.
- 1:11- It's a lifestyle.

- 1:30- Welcome to the divine five one five podcast.
- 1:34- Here is today's prayer.
- 1:41- Hello, and welcome to divine five one five
- 1:44- daily prayers with Valerie Rocha.
- 1:47- I'm your host, and I'd like to welcome
- 1:49- you to today's prayer addressing
- 1:52- how to handle when you're feeling overwhelmed and
- 1:54- finding strength in God.
- 1:57- Scripture text comes from Isaiah forty one ten
- 1:59- and says, do not fear for I am
- 2:01- with you. I will strengthen you and will
- 2:04- help you.
- 2:07- You know, there are seasons when every responsibility
- 2:11- feels
- 2:13- urgent. Whether you're
- 2:15- single,
- 2:16- married, married with children,
- 2:20- young, old, you name it,
- 2:22- it can just seem like
- 2:25- life is coming at you
- 2:27- at breakneck
- 2:28- speed.
- 2:30- Work,
- 2:31- family, finances, health, and relationships
- 2:34- all compete for your attention until you get
- 2:37- to a point where you feel emotionally and
- 2:39- spiritually
- 2:40- exhausted.
- 2:43- But what we forget sometimes,
- 2:45- often, actually,
- 2:47- is that God never intended
- 2:49- us to carry tomorrow's burdens with today's strength.
- 2:53- In fact, he encourages us to take
- 2:56- whatever the task is at hand,
- 2:59- give it to him, and drop it at
- 3:01- his feet,
- 3:03- and
- 3:04- ask him to help us, and he will.
- 3:08- It's as if that task is a boulder
- 3:11- and that boulder is so heavy,
- 3:14- it is beyond
- 3:15- the capability
- 3:16- to to carry it.
- 3:19- So take today's task,
- 3:22- drop it at his feet,
- 3:24- and know that he's right there with us.
- 3:27- And because of it, we don't need to
- 3:29- be afraid
- 3:30- of what's gonna happen or how it's gonna
- 3:33- happen because he always has our best interest
- 3:36- at heart.
- 3:39- And most importantly,
- 3:41- it's not about a feeling,
- 3:44- but about faith and trust and knowing that
- 3:46- regardless of whatever the situation is,
- 3:49- he promises instance by his word that he's
- 3:52- gonna be with us. And when we give
- 3:54- him whatever that overwhelming
- 3:55- task is or that overwhelming burden is, he
- 3:58- will give us the strength that we need
- 4:00- to make it through.
- 4:02- Having said that,
- 4:04- let's pray.
- 4:07- Dear Lord,
- 4:08- we confess that we've been trying to do
- 4:11- everything
- 4:12- in our own strength.
- 4:15- But today,
- 4:16- we surrender the weight we've been carrying and
- 4:18- receive the strength
- 4:20- you freely give.
- 4:22- Remind us that we don't have to solve
- 4:25- every problem today
- 4:26- because you already
- 4:28- are working on our behalf.
- 4:31- Bring you our spirit, steady our heart, and
- 4:34- help us to depend on you instead of
- 4:37- ourselves.
- 4:40- Let your strength become visible in our weakness
- 4:43- for your glory. In Jesus' name, amen.
- 4:47- Pause today before tackling your next task and
- 4:50- simply
- 4:52- say,
- 4:53- dear Lord, our heavenly father,
- 4:57- I receive your strength for this moment
- 4:59- and believe that he will give it to
- 5:01- you because he will.
- 5:04- If today's prayer encouraged you,
- 5:07- share it with someone who may also be
- 5:09- feeling overwhelmed.
