- 0:59Speaker 3: we live in I don't like the way you're starting.
- 1:03Speaker 6: Everything's starting great, kid me you face, I know it's
- 1:07Speaker 6: not like I still got a little grimace on my face.
- 1:09Speaker 6: It's fine. I still got a little back pain.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:14Speaker 6: Maybe it was getting a little bit better Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- 1:18Speaker 6: Maybe it reverted back a little bit today. But it's
- 1:21Speaker 6: gonna be all right. We're just losing it now, you know.
- 1:26Speaker 6: I mean, obviously you know there was a lot of
- 1:30Speaker 6: happenings happening at my h at the Flint Household yesterday,
- 1:34Speaker 6: and I just want to start to show out by.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Telling everybody what an absolute unit this man is. Right here.
- 1:41Speaker 6: What a furniture mover he is. It's unbelievable. I seen
- 1:45Speaker 6: it in my own eyes. People, he still got it.
- 1:49Speaker 3: I just moved a lot.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:51Speaker 6: So apparently the furniture that that my wife has, you know, uh,
- 1:56Speaker 6: purchased or received throughout our household. Most of it pretty sturdy,
- 2:03Speaker 6: carved from one piece of wood. Probably some felt like
- 2:08Speaker 6: richie oak.
- 2:11Speaker 2: I don't know what it is, but it's very heavy.
- 2:12Speaker 5: I think I did tell you twice yesterday that I
- 2:14Speaker 5: wish that Lacy would have had akia taste.
- 2:17Speaker 3: It'd have been a lot easier.
- 2:19Speaker 7: A lot you could have done with, like one hand.
- 2:21Speaker 6: Just a lot of that furniture was like stuff that
- 2:24Speaker 6: was her parents that was passed down like yeah, it
- 2:27Speaker 6: was like made by someone in the fan like something. So,
- 2:30Speaker 6: you know, pretty much carved out of a piece of wood.
- 2:33Speaker 5: There was I don't know which one was my favorite.
- 2:37Speaker 5: There was a headboard that was a beast this thing grip.
- 2:43Speaker 5: It was like a red oak, just trying to I
- 2:47Speaker 5: don't even remember where we were moving it, but not
- 2:50Speaker 5: where it was from upstairs to downstairs. Yeah, that's that's right.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:55Speaker 5: There's a treadmill that was fun, not just like a treadmill,
- 2:59Speaker 5: like a walking path like this man went the planet
- 3:02Speaker 5: Fitness and picked the biggest son of a gun they had.
- 3:04Speaker 2: That's a wood way.
- 3:05Speaker 4: That's awkward to carry there, like the shape. You're not
- 3:09Speaker 4: going around any corners with it. It's it's awful.
- 3:11Speaker 2: No, we got it. We gotta we gonna do.
- 3:16Speaker 3: What is that pivot?
- 3:18Speaker 7: You aren't friends people? That's my second friend's reference this morning.
- 3:22Speaker 7: I don't know why, but yeah, and Ross is.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Like episode took us to get our mind right. We
- 3:32Speaker 3: take a door, figure out the treadmill and had to
- 3:34Speaker 3: get it out the door.
- 3:34Speaker 6: And it was impressive, very impressive. Thank you all the
- 3:37Speaker 6: Hester clan. They all came out, showed out.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Harlowe.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I think moved a pillow?
- 3:42Speaker 3: She did?
- 3:42Speaker 6: She crushed it. Yeah, I mean Kati dreg been.
- 3:48Speaker 7: The most important job was moving that pillow.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Who else was gonna do it?
- 3:53Speaker 5: Air traffic control, Katie's moved about nine or ten times.
- 3:58Speaker 6: And in a situation like that's what you got to have.
- 4:01Speaker 6: Whether it's the right decision or not, somebody's got.
- 4:03Speaker 2: To make it.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Yeah, so she's gonna make it go a little bit.
- 4:05Speaker 6: The only wrong decision is no decision in situations like that,
- 4:08Speaker 6: that's very fair.
- 4:10Speaker 3: And this man sprung for Papa John's. Oh I love.
- 4:15Speaker 5: I have to say, like a lot in a situation
- 4:18Speaker 5: like that, you're going with the lower end pieces, little,
- 4:24Speaker 5: I said, Little Caesars or hungry Hollways is getting.
- 4:27Speaker 4: You're going to get six largest for about thirty blocks
- 4:31Speaker 4: Caesar's right.
- 4:31Speaker 3: When I saw Papa John's, I said, not playing around,
- 4:34Speaker 3: and we're.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Not messing around.
- 4:36Speaker 6: So I knew that when you brought the crew, I
- 4:38Speaker 6: knew how much there was some funds that were being
- 4:40Speaker 6: saved because I wasn't having to call college hunks moving company,
- 4:45Speaker 6: so we had some disposable income there that we could,
- 4:49Speaker 6: you know, spring for the Yeah that I saw.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know, I don't.
- 4:53Speaker 6: Know if it got enough, but I built hit triple digis.
- 4:59Speaker 7: I love Papa John's garlic, haven't I know? And I
- 5:01Speaker 7: hadn't had it in a hot minute fire.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Did you say that garlic butter? Nobody's going to be
- 5:06Speaker 4: surprised by us.
- 5:08Speaker 3: With the way that I was as far as sweat
- 5:11Speaker 3: and heat. Yeah, I didn't think that garlic butter was
- 5:14Speaker 3: going to be the move. It's great.
- 5:18Speaker 5: I love the garlic butter. But at the moment, I
- 5:20Speaker 5: looked like I had jumped in a pool. There was
- 5:22Speaker 5: no pull in sight.
- 5:23Speaker 7: Yeah, yet I.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Didn't think not yet. He's still talking to him.
- 5:28Speaker 2: I'll tell you. I'll tell you what though. This man
- 5:29Speaker 2: over here ate his waiting Graham crackers.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I did. That was the best part.
- 5:34Speaker 5: So I'm starving, like we've been moving for about an hour,
- 5:37Speaker 5: hour and a half whatever.
- 5:38Speaker 7: We're all four boys, Like, was Memphis putting it work too?
- 5:41Speaker 3: Uh?
- 5:42Speaker 5: No, it was the three older trade guards, Memphis and
- 5:46Speaker 5: Huck were hanging out.
- 5:47Speaker 3: But the three older boys, and especially like the two
- 5:49Speaker 3: older boys. But it's hungry.
- 5:51Speaker 5: Yeah, And they've kind of had to move the kitchen
- 5:54Speaker 5: to another room because they're renovating whatever.
- 5:56Speaker 3: And I see some Graham crackers.
- 5:58Speaker 5: I'm like, those are about to get like, I love
- 6:02Speaker 5: a good grand and so I get them and I'm
- 6:04Speaker 5: and I'm eating them or whatever, and that comes over.
- 6:08Speaker 5: She goes, hey, don't steal our snacks.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Our snacks.
- 6:16Speaker 3: I was like, I've heard these Okay, okay.
- 6:19Speaker 7: Have you seen all this furniture.
- 6:21Speaker 3: That I have?
- 6:21Speaker 2: Just mister Jacob's eating our snacks.
- 6:25Speaker 5: She did tell me, don't need our snacks. I was like,
- 6:29Speaker 5: you don't understand I need this to survive.
- 6:32Speaker 7: How many people are gonna get Papa John's for dinner tonight?
- 6:35Speaker 7: Because why am I like? Really?
- 6:37Speaker 3: I mean and I tell you it hit.
- 6:39Speaker 6: Yeah, it was really good, Chat said Matt. Still made
- 6:43Speaker 6: them by the mind high though.
- 6:45Speaker 3: There was probably.
- 6:48Speaker 5: I don't know there was six about there were six
- 6:51Speaker 5: of us that were, you know, really helping and really
- 6:53Speaker 5: moving some of my high employees, and we had to look.
- 6:58Speaker 3: For a package of real people there. We had to
- 7:01Speaker 3: look high way longer than we should have.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Not a sweatshop going.
- 7:04Speaker 6: There might have been including including women and children. Probably
- 7:09Speaker 6: had fifteen people there. Yeah, yeah, me, I gave it
- 7:17Speaker 6: my bass, my back, it's really been hurt.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Well, we weren't gonna let you do anything either.
- 7:23Speaker 5: But I did see one moment where Katie and Knox
- 7:27Speaker 5: were moving up a dresser up the stairs and Matt's
- 7:31Speaker 5: got his hand on his stip and he goes, it's
- 7:32Speaker 5: good up there, right.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Well, yeah, that's like the contractor.
- 7:39Speaker 7: You're doing great, right.
- 7:44Speaker 3: But we had fun. It was a good time.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Well I appreciate it.
- 7:47Speaker 3: So it was very I'm not as sore as I
- 7:50Speaker 3: thought I would.
- 7:51Speaker 6: Yeah, you looked rough leaving yesterday. Yeah, it looked like
- 7:53Speaker 6: you had done four crossfoit workouts.
- 7:56Speaker 7: Yeah, like you're a hybrid rock star.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Like you're a hybrid rocks are he wishes.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Yeah, as if it was the last one, I think
- 8:06Speaker 3: they got me.
- 8:06Speaker 5: But we, you know, the last we didn't think it
- 8:10Speaker 5: was going to be able to get done.
- 8:12Speaker 6: Yeah, we saved the heaviest one. Well, I don't know
- 8:15Speaker 6: the treadmill, and so we finished with a treadmill and
- 8:17Speaker 6: that last piece of furniture up the stairs. Yeah, those
- 8:20Speaker 6: are the worst. I'm glad we didn't start with that, No,
- 8:23Speaker 6: because I left. It would have demoralized the whole crew.
- 8:27Speaker 5: Well, actually we did start with like a thousand pounds safe.
- 8:31Speaker 6: The same I had a sweet hydraulic. Almost dropped the
- 8:36Speaker 6: safe on your foot, though, y'all.
- 8:39Speaker 5: When I say we were a second and a half
- 8:43Speaker 5: away from me not having three toes, I really mean it,
- 8:47Speaker 5: because this this really badass like hydraulic.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Like you said, Dolly, it's four pianos.
- 8:54Speaker 2: You said, it's four pianos.
- 8:56Speaker 5: Yes, okay, which I don't know how you're getting a
- 8:57Speaker 5: piano on there, But that's a whole different story.
- 8:59Speaker 3: So we put it on both sides of the safe.
- 9:01Speaker 5: We lifted up or moving it around or whatever, and
- 9:04Speaker 5: I'm kind of moving my part so it's gonna be
- 9:07Speaker 5: a little bit easier to to get off the dolly
- 9:09Speaker 5: or whatever. And MAT's like, hey, I'm slowly going to
- 9:12Speaker 5: take you know, the pressure off it and drop mine.
- 9:14Speaker 5: So I'm thinking, oh, I got some time, So I
- 9:16Speaker 5: kind of wiggling around. Then I moved my foot and
- 9:18Speaker 5: then as I moved my foot from underneath this save, yeah,
- 9:22Speaker 5: he does it and it doesn't slow.
- 9:23Speaker 3: But as soon as he lets any.
- 9:25Speaker 6: Pressure out, it was like a hydraulic left where you
- 9:28Speaker 6: pump it and it comes up and it's now, yeah.
- 9:35Speaker 7: Trying to kill him.
- 9:36Speaker 6: As soon as I let it, I turned that relief
- 9:39Speaker 6: out like a millimeter. I mean it dropped a thousand pounds.
- 9:42Speaker 6: Safe just dropped.
- 9:43Speaker 3: So I'm thinking I probably have lost my toe multiple tones.
- 9:48Speaker 7: Absolutely.
- 9:49Speaker 4: We uh we moved the piano into my house. When
- 9:52Speaker 4: we first got it, we didn't we didn't have a
- 9:55Speaker 4: we didn't have a dollary. I didn't think that far
- 9:57Speaker 4: through delay. A piece of plywood down on our steps
- 10:00Speaker 4: and kind of like slotted up awful, it moved it in.
- 10:02Speaker 4: I was like, Victoria, hope you like it right here
- 10:04Speaker 4: because it's not going anywhere ever, who plays so none
- 10:08Speaker 4: of us. What we did was we have an awkward
- 10:11Speaker 4: looking area. It's almost just like a mini nook. Like
- 10:13Speaker 4: we walk in the back door and there's like this
- 10:14Speaker 4: little open area. Nothing would fit there, but there's a
- 10:17Speaker 4: flat wall perv it for a piano. She had a
- 10:19Speaker 4: friend who was selling one, great shape for like two
- 10:21Speaker 4: hundred and fifty bucks. Yeah, and I'm like, hell, it
- 10:23Speaker 4: looks really good. It's probably cheaper than any other piece
- 10:25Speaker 4: of furniture we're gonna get. Let's just get it. It
- 10:27Speaker 4: looks nice.
- 10:31Speaker 5: We can't talk about that, right, Yeah, like you bought
- 10:35Speaker 5: a piano as a piece of furniture, as a decorative piece.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Sure, and nobody plays the piano in your house.
- 10:41Speaker 4: We had one, We had one growing up all throughout
- 10:43Speaker 4: my childhood. Nobody in miles.
- 10:44Speaker 2: But they are they are nice. It's a nice it's
- 10:46Speaker 2: a nice talking piece.
- 10:48Speaker 4: Yeah, and it looks great. You walk in the door
- 10:50Speaker 4: just to the rite, it's right there. And I mean
- 10:52Speaker 4: it was cheaper get a crappy looking table. This looked
- 10:56Speaker 4: better than that. So it's like, you know, what and
- 10:57Speaker 4: it plays music. Yeah, there's a lot of time on
- 11:01Speaker 4: the top you can play.
- 11:04Speaker 7: Razer could be a musical prodigy. We don't know yet.
- 11:07Speaker 4: That doesn't be somebody can't play it. It's just right now,
- 11:09Speaker 4: we don't.
- 11:10Speaker 7: I mean one of the best Kanye West songs has
- 11:12Speaker 7: like one.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Is like.
- 11:18Speaker 5: D Bar eighty five said, I live in West Monroe
- 11:20Speaker 5: and we go to Johnny's.
- 11:21Speaker 3: I will say.
- 11:22Speaker 5: When the pizza got there, Lacey said, don't you know
- 11:24Speaker 5: your audience here.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Didn't get Johnny's or from the three one eight.
- 11:30Speaker 2: So Papa John's had a higher price tags. I wanted
- 11:34Speaker 2: to show my love.
- 11:36Speaker 3: I'll try to buy ours.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Great, it's not nearly as like readily available.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right. There is one pretty close house.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Its one pretty pretty close to central.
- 11:45Speaker 4: I think it'd be like the closest one to me.
- 11:48Speaker 3: Well, you live in b f E.
- 11:50Speaker 6: So somebody else asks, y'all with that ot B money
- 11:55Speaker 6: can't afford movers in this economy, I think.
- 11:58Speaker 4: So, h you had hastern Sons a moving company.
- 12:02Speaker 2: We did it.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Let me tell you something.
- 12:07Speaker 5: And I don't know why this is, but when I
- 12:09Speaker 5: have to pay for movers, it makes me really angry.
- 12:13Speaker 3: It's one of those things and they do a great
- 12:16Speaker 3: service and it's probably quicker and easier.
- 12:19Speaker 5: But yeah, I can't tell you how many U hauls
- 12:24Speaker 5: Katie and I have done together because we both hate
- 12:27Speaker 5: paying for movers.
- 12:28Speaker 6: Yeah, there's a lot. There's a lot of trades out
- 12:30Speaker 6: there that are that are frustrating.
- 12:32Speaker 5: I think it was the move but when I had
- 12:35Speaker 5: to move from California back to Louisiana and I remember
- 12:39Speaker 5: how much that actually costs, like, I was like, I'll
- 12:42Speaker 5: never do this.
- 12:45Speaker 3: I will only do if I can.
- 12:47Speaker 6: Sometimes it's unavoidable, but it is, man, it's uh, that's
- 12:53Speaker 6: not a route that I really wanted to go. I
- 12:55Speaker 6: did not want to bring in the college hunks.
- 12:58Speaker 3: You brought in the what are your old home?
- 13:00Speaker 2: For year old?
- 13:01Speaker 3: What do you want? And then some high school cheap
- 13:04Speaker 3: labor in middle school? What these old guys?
- 13:08Speaker 6: I was like walking around yesterday and the cards members
- 13:13Speaker 6: forgot this. So the boys come up to us at
- 13:15Speaker 6: some point during the during the movie Yesterday.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Hey can you police this trade? Can you set tell
- 13:20Speaker 2: this is a fair trade?
- 13:21Speaker 6: And it was like a cam Ward and hooks try
- 13:23Speaker 6: to trade a cam Ward card and something else and
- 13:28Speaker 6: and it was this blue Tyler shuck and I see
- 13:30Speaker 6: it and I was like, no, that's not a fair
- 13:31Speaker 6: trade to Memphis because like that's you know.
- 13:35Speaker 2: I don't know. You shouldn't do that one.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:37Speaker 6: And then you come up and you're like, oh, is
- 13:40Speaker 6: that the one you got autographed?
- 13:42Speaker 2: And I was like there's an autograph on it.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I was like, oh, I should have approved that trade
- 13:46Speaker 2: for sure.
- 13:47Speaker 6: It's like, Dad, come on, Dad, you didn't know me
- 13:49Speaker 6: this kid Tyler Shuck autograph on here?
- 13:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:53Speaker 5: Members like, hey, Dad, you grab my cards? No, I
- 13:55Speaker 5: didn't grab your cards.
- 13:58Speaker 7: We were a little bigger at your car.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:00Speaker 5: Why you and hook were on the water slide. We
- 14:03Speaker 5: were about to die up the stairs.
- 14:06Speaker 7: That's right, hockingmph is living their best lives stream cards
- 14:10Speaker 7: on the water slide.
- 14:11Speaker 6: We were rolled out the red car, but we had
- 14:13Speaker 6: a little jump jumps water slide out there.
- 14:15Speaker 2: What a day.
- 14:16Speaker 3: It was good planning. It was good planning performance.
- 14:20Speaker 5: Now we're gonna see if tomorrow, when both of us
- 14:23Speaker 5: wake up, if it was good planning or not.
- 14:25Speaker 3: I think it's the second day. It's the old second
- 14:28Speaker 3: day soreness.
- 14:29Speaker 6: Don't judge my plan by the way your body feels.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Well, you knew who you called? Yeah, exactly, all right.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Should have called the Cleveland brown see if they had

- 17:13Speaker 5: What was that you were saying in the open of
- 17:15Speaker 5: the show about LSU adding a Pleaseland Brown can't be true?
- 17:19Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, Cleveland Brown. Not not sure where Sanders Unfortunately, guys,
- 17:23Speaker 4: that's that's not who we're adding. But de Quon Wright
- 17:26Speaker 4: got waived cleared NFL waivers and uh, it's gonna ben
- 17:29Speaker 4: unless you Tiger. They cleared, he did clear waivers, he's
- 17:34Speaker 4: projected to clear.
- 17:35Speaker 3: I did see the headline.
- 17:37Speaker 5: If Brown's tight end clears waivers, He's going to sign
- 17:40Speaker 5: with LSU. I was like, Wow, that is quite the headline.
- 17:43Speaker 5: Imagine telling somebody that a couple of years ago, things
- 17:46Speaker 5: can change. Imagine telling somebody that, like twenty years ago,
- 17:51Speaker 5: what you mean, like Brown like in the Ivy League
- 17:54Speaker 5: and there's something we don't know about.
- 17:56Speaker 6: Yeah, the headlines were pretty wild, just to snoop around
- 17:58Speaker 6: the internet, and yeah, like in the year twenty twenty six,
- 18:03Speaker 6: it doesn't even seem normal to read these headlines. But
- 18:06Speaker 6: certainly just a year or two ago, this would seem
- 18:10Speaker 6: this would seem science fiction.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Yeah, anytime I think it would.
- 18:15Speaker 5: We've looked last week and I'm trying to think whatever
- 18:18Speaker 5: day it was, last week, we kind of laid out
- 18:20Speaker 5: how we feel about it, and we might be in
- 18:22Speaker 5: the minority there because there was a lot of people
- 18:25Speaker 5: sitting in this room that had a different thought on it.
- 18:29Speaker 5: So instead of just continuing to tell you how much
- 18:32Speaker 5: we disagree with it, because I think We've made our
- 18:34Speaker 5: stance pretty clear.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Is that stupid? Yeah?
- 18:37Speaker 3: Yeah, that it's going to continue to happen.
- 18:42Speaker 5: I don't think this is going to be the only one,
- 18:45Speaker 5: not just for Relishoe, but certainly for anyone. And there's
- 18:50Speaker 5: going to be a slew of players that we talked about.
- 18:53Speaker 5: I think it's up to eighteen now that are going
- 18:56Speaker 5: to be on college rosters playing in Week one, which
- 18:59Speaker 5: is Week zero starts this week. Like we have games
- 19:04Speaker 5: Saturday that count. Yeah, and you're gonna have players that
- 19:08Speaker 5: are coming in and.
- 19:09Speaker 4: That's about seven days from now. It's going to be
- 19:12Speaker 4: a lot more.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:13Speaker 5: When yeah, NFL cuts, it's hard like to not want
- 19:21Speaker 5: to go back to what our stance was a week ago.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Well we can go back to it.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Well.
- 19:27Speaker 5: The thing that, honestly, like the thing that it's for
- 19:30Speaker 5: me that is most troublesome about it is there's roster
- 19:34Speaker 5: limits now. And this isn't just for an LSU discussion.
- 19:37Speaker 5: This is for everyone. There's roster limitations now as far
- 19:41Speaker 5: as the number that you can have. And there's going
- 19:44Speaker 5: to be somebody that has been with the team for
- 19:49Speaker 5: at least eight months working hard. I said it the
- 19:53Speaker 5: other day Spring fourth quarter programs, summer workouts, training camp,
- 19:58Speaker 5: that is going to get told you no longer have
- 20:01Speaker 5: a spot here because we've got to add this guy
- 20:03Speaker 5: from the National Football League. It's going to happen, and
- 20:08Speaker 5: that as somebody has had to go through all of
- 20:10Speaker 5: those things.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Sucks.
- 20:17Speaker 6: Yeah, the whole situation I think sucks for everybody. And
- 20:22Speaker 6: you might not know it. You might not realize it,
- 20:24Speaker 6: but it does. You might think it's okay because it's
- 20:26Speaker 6: happening to your team and our team and our team improved, right,
- 20:32Speaker 6: doesn't mean we have.
- 20:33Speaker 2: To like the way we did it.
- 20:36Speaker 6: And it's it's one thing to like talk about last week.
- 20:43Speaker 6: It's one thing to talk about the speculation and how
- 20:45Speaker 6: these people are going to you know, get their restraining
- 20:48Speaker 6: order to be able to enter the portal. But then
- 20:52Speaker 6: it's another thing to come and talk about it after
- 20:54Speaker 6: it's like the news has drop that it's official and
- 20:58Speaker 6: it's happening that he that somebody has been released from
- 21:03Speaker 6: the team in the NFL, so they you know, again,
- 21:06Speaker 6: this goes back to people always won second, third, fourth,
- 21:10Speaker 6: fifth chances and everything like you weren't wasn't good enough second,
- 21:13Speaker 6: the second team already in this first offseason, first year undrafted,
- 21:19Speaker 6: then to come and get another chance in college when
- 21:23Speaker 6: you've already left college h And now that college football
- 21:27Speaker 6: and college sports is at this place where this is
- 21:30Speaker 6: going to be normal normalized. This is going to be
- 21:32Speaker 6: celebrated by some, it's going to be hated by others.
- 21:35Speaker 6: And I don't know if that's going to be you know,
- 21:37Speaker 6: now that it's officially happened, like last week, we were
- 21:39Speaker 6: in the minority of talking about it. I don't know
- 21:41Speaker 6: what the split was on people that liked it and
- 21:43Speaker 6: didn't like it, let's say seventy thirty. I think now
- 21:46Speaker 6: that's officially happened, maybe that moves a little closer to
- 21:48Speaker 6: fifty to fifty on like the crowd being split on
- 21:51Speaker 6: whether they like it or not. But the truth of
- 21:54Speaker 6: the matter is it's going to be forgotten in a
- 21:56Speaker 6: couple of weeks anyway, once the once the season starts,
- 21:59Speaker 6: people are going to forget about this, forget about the
- 22:02Speaker 6: way whether this is good or bad for the future
- 22:06Speaker 6: of college football.
- 22:07Speaker 2: I think it's awful. I think it's awful for it
- 22:10Speaker 2: and I don't know.
- 22:10Speaker 6: I hadn't seen at least and from the majority of
- 22:13Speaker 6: national media people, anybody that thinks.
- 22:16Speaker 2: It's good for the sport.
- 22:18Speaker 6: Yeah, programs, coaches whatever, trying to trying to find an advantage, right,
- 22:28Speaker 6: and you're using attorneys to find loopholes for ways to
- 22:32Speaker 6: make your roster better.
- 22:33Speaker 2: And I think that is bad for the sport.
- 22:36Speaker 3: So yeah, and I keep questioning, where is the end?
- 22:43Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying, because you can say, well, no, no, no,
- 22:45Speaker 5: it's only this class and this group's going to get
- 22:47Speaker 5: grandfathered in.
- 22:48Speaker 2: And.
- 22:50Speaker 5: How hunt put it is like unlucky. Life's unlucky. When
- 22:53Speaker 5: we get to that whole conversation later, But was it
- 22:58Speaker 5: truly the end? Or is it going to be like
- 23:00Speaker 5: another group that says, yeah, whoa if they got it
- 23:04Speaker 5: and here was our situation and we were unlucky, and
- 23:07Speaker 5: shouldn't we get the same situation? Like what you judge?
- 23:12Speaker 5: Do we call so we can get back in the fold.
- 23:15Speaker 5: I just don't ever see an end because every time
- 23:17Speaker 5: we think that there's an end and there's a rule,
- 23:20Speaker 5: it's just we go to a courtroom and now here
- 23:23Speaker 5: you go you can do it again, and it's like no, no, no,
- 23:26Speaker 5: you're not gonna be able to do that, Like oh bet,
- 23:28Speaker 5: watch this, Yeah, we make this call to this judge.
- 23:30Speaker 6: And I don't know if there is an like look,
- 23:33Speaker 6: and I don't think anybody is ever gonna come and
- 23:35Speaker 6: get my advice on like the specific rules and like
- 23:38Speaker 6: of college athletics and the ins and outs and the
- 23:44Speaker 6: laws and the sub laws of anything, because you know,
- 23:46Speaker 6: I'm pretty surface level and my fandom when it comes
- 23:48Speaker 6: to college. But like, I don't see to your point, Like,
- 23:52Speaker 6: what's the end the only how do you end all this? Well,
- 23:56Speaker 6: you got to you gotta straight away from the NCAA.
- 23:58Speaker 6: You gotta start your own thing, Like you can't go
- 24:00Speaker 6: back and try to redo everything with the NCAAA.
- 24:06Speaker 4: The strength from the NCAAA fix the problem, because I
- 24:11Speaker 4: hate to defend.
- 24:11Speaker 6: The depends on strong. It depends on strong. The leadership
- 24:14Speaker 6: is on wherever.
- 24:14Speaker 2: You just hear.
- 24:15Speaker 4: So many people say, well that's because the NCAA doesn't
- 24:18Speaker 4: have any rules. Yeahly do they have rules in black
- 24:20Speaker 4: and white? You keep getting temporary restraining orders and suing
- 24:22Speaker 4: and getting lawyers and judges. I'm not really sure what
- 24:25Speaker 4: we want them to do and how they fix it.
- 24:26Speaker 2: You're gonna have to you have to ban away.
- 24:28Speaker 6: You're gonna have to embrace that college football is now
- 24:30Speaker 6: professional football.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Right.
- 24:32Speaker 6: You just took like you can't deny it anymore. You
- 24:34Speaker 6: can't say these are contract blah blah blah. Like you're
- 24:36Speaker 6: gonna have to have a players association. You can't sue
- 24:39Speaker 6: the NFL for get whatever you want. In the NFL,
- 24:42Speaker 6: there's association, there's a check and balances. You have to
- 24:45Speaker 6: create a league that has checks and balances. And NCAA doesn't.
- 24:50Speaker 6: And it's and it's and it's said yeah.
- 24:53Speaker 3: And they're always delayed in what they do.
- 24:56Speaker 5: They're always delayed and it's always they react after months
- 25:00Speaker 5: of people talking about it and saying, hey, let's do this,
- 25:03Speaker 5: this is.
- 25:04Speaker 3: How we should do it.
- 25:05Speaker 5: Like if you were going to go and give everyone
- 25:08Speaker 5: five for five, the timing of when you did it
- 25:12Speaker 5: was not great. Like the timing of when you did
- 25:14Speaker 5: it should have been before the combine. So these players
- 25:20Speaker 5: would have at least had the option to do it
- 25:23Speaker 5: before they went to the combine. Uh, you know to
- 25:27Speaker 5: Pro day. We're in NFL camps. So the n CUBA
- 25:32Speaker 5: deserves blame and the timing of how they do things
- 25:35Speaker 5: as well.
- 25:36Speaker 6: And they're trying like the people in the chat saying
- 25:38Speaker 6: NCAA should have you know, they shouldn't allow if you
- 25:41Speaker 6: sign a pro contract, you can't come back.
- 25:42Speaker 2: That rules.
- 25:44Speaker 6: But like the people that came back comes in exactly
- 25:49Speaker 6: like they. I guess the.
- 25:50Speaker 7: Role is there. Yeah, they don't mean there's this loopholes
- 25:54Speaker 7: that they haven't closed.
- 25:56Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 25:57Speaker 6: There, you know, to better your program, attorneys to find
- 26:01Speaker 6: your loophole and like, and I'm speaking at generalities. And look,
- 26:05Speaker 6: I know the only people who've officially done it are
- 26:07Speaker 6: is our school.
- 26:09Speaker 7: I think Texas might have.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Did they, So it does. I mean it stinks to have.
- 26:14Speaker 6: To like air our grievances out when our school is
- 26:17Speaker 6: improving their team.
- 26:18Speaker 5: I get it, But I do. I get that portion
- 26:21Speaker 5: of it too. I understand. And look, they're outside of
- 26:24Speaker 5: my wife and family. There's nothing I love more in
- 26:26Speaker 5: this world than LSU, not one thing. So I understand, like, hey,
- 26:31Speaker 5: if it's going to happen, if teams and people are
- 26:34Speaker 5: going to do it, we might as well do it
- 26:36Speaker 5: too to try to win a championship.
- 26:38Speaker 3: I understand that point. I do.
- 26:40Speaker 5: So this isn't me getting mad at you for being like, hey,
- 26:43Speaker 5: let's go win a championship. It's just mad at the
- 26:45Speaker 5: entire process of how we got here and how this
- 26:48Speaker 5: could have been avoided and just the thought of because
- 26:53Speaker 5: we talked about this last week, there's things that you
- 26:56Speaker 5: learn in an NFL training camp, in an NFL all
- 27:00Speaker 5: that Man, I wish I could have gone back and
- 27:01Speaker 5: played some college football with Like, I felt like I
- 27:05Speaker 5: was a four times smarter player just from learning from
- 27:10Speaker 5: guys that have been doing it for ten years, twelve
- 27:12Speaker 5: years sitting in those rooms.
- 27:15Speaker 6: Yeah, and I was listening to you say, everybody else.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Is going to do it, you might as well do
- 27:23Speaker 2: it too.
- 27:23Speaker 3: That's going to be the thing. That's what That's going
- 27:25Speaker 3: to be the thing.
- 27:26Speaker 6: What when when do you have a conversation when those
- 27:31Speaker 6: words you you tell to your children when you raised them,
- 27:34Speaker 6: Like when when other people are doing when other people
- 27:38Speaker 6: are doing the wrong thing on other people are getting
- 27:41Speaker 6: upper hand to win, You're like, well, when I as
- 27:43Speaker 6: well do it too?
- 27:43Speaker 5: When I said we were in the minority, like Taylor
- 27:46Speaker 5: posted something I don't remember what social media, and I
- 27:49Speaker 5: just kept getting tagged, like telling me and us how
- 27:54Speaker 5: wrong we were about the way that we felt about it.
- 27:57Speaker 3: So that's what I'm saying like.
- 27:58Speaker 5: There's a large at least from the mentions that are
- 28:03Speaker 5: like we got to do whatever we gotta do to
- 28:06Speaker 5: win football games.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Yeah, how do y'all feel about this?
- 28:19Speaker 3: Land?
- 28:19Speaker 7: I think it's overall very stupid that somebody can go
- 28:23Speaker 7: to the NFL and maybe not do as well so
- 28:27Speaker 7: they can sue the NCAA and say, actually, I'm gonna
- 28:30Speaker 7: go back to college. And I do like LSU and
- 28:32Speaker 7: link Kivin have a very big part in doing this.
- 28:35Speaker 7: Like who do you think is helping them make that
- 28:37Speaker 7: decision and telling them, hey, if you do this, you
- 28:41Speaker 7: can come to LSU and you can come play here,
- 28:43Speaker 7: will help you out whatever. I think it's really dumb,
- 28:47Speaker 7: But that being said, I can agree with the I
- 28:53Speaker 7: don't want to fall behind everybody else if everybody else
- 28:58Speaker 7: is going to take advantage of it, Like if me
- 29:00Speaker 7: taking the high road is going to mean that word
- 29:03Speaker 7: is going to be like in this hole of losing,
- 29:06Speaker 7: then I mean sometimes you just got to play the game.
- 29:11Speaker 4: Yeahlin Kivin was hired to win games. You look at
- 29:14Speaker 4: Brian Kelly, like Brian Kelly never had a losing record,
- 29:17Speaker 4: He just didn't have It was big time wins right,
- 29:20Speaker 4: and he didn't even make it four full seasons. On Thursday,
- 29:23Speaker 4: I was all with you guys when it came to
- 29:27Speaker 4: it sucks for the players that are already on the
- 29:29Speaker 4: team whatever, And it does.
- 29:31Speaker 3: No, it royally does.
- 29:32Speaker 4: It absolutely does. But the more I said on this,
- 29:35Speaker 4: I thought these players always wanted to be paid and
- 29:39Speaker 4: going to school for free wasn't enough. And if you
- 29:41Speaker 4: want to be paid like professionals, hell, guy's professional athletes
- 29:43Speaker 4: get cut. Sorry, So like I still think the whole
- 29:47Speaker 4: thing's dumb, but I've changed my opinion just a little bit.
- 29:50Speaker 4: And also like take one right really helps this team.
- 29:54Speaker 3: No, he's a stud the football player. He got cut twice.
- 29:57Speaker 3: I talked about him.
- 29:59Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
- 30:00Speaker 3: He's a good player. I mean I talked about him
- 30:02Speaker 3: when we played Omiss last year.
- 30:04Speaker 2: He didn't record a stat in preseason.
- 30:06Speaker 5: I know, like I know all that I'm saying, he's
- 30:09Speaker 5: a good college football player.
- 30:10Speaker 3: That still didn't change the way I feel.
- 30:13Speaker 5: And sure players do get cut in the NFL, and
- 30:19Speaker 5: now they're making money, but man just feels so different,
- 30:22Speaker 5: like a lot of like there might be a scholarship
- 30:24Speaker 5: kid that chose ls like you're not gonna give me
- 30:27Speaker 5: on that point, Like he chose l s U and
- 30:31Speaker 5: for this entire process was a part of this team
- 30:34Speaker 5: and then all of a sudden, like in the blink
- 30:35Speaker 5: of an eye, like he's gonna get told that we.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Don't have a spot for you anymore. That's different than
- 30:41Speaker 3: a even though they get paid.
- 30:43Speaker 2: That's not even the part that bothers me.
- 30:46Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm not trying to be Dabo at Clemson, where
- 30:48Speaker 7: like Dabo can't get with the times and he's fallen behind,
- 30:53Speaker 7: Like I'm not trying, Bill Belichie. I know it's like
- 30:55Speaker 7: super super different, but like.
- 31:00Speaker 4: I didn't, it don't suck for the guys that like
- 31:01Speaker 4: truly want to be here with that. Honestly, far too
- 31:04Speaker 4: often in recruiting it's we don't have loyalty at school.
- 31:07Speaker 4: We're gonna go whoever's gonna pay us the most money,
- 31:09Speaker 4: you know, Like it sucks that way too.
- 31:10Speaker 6: But there's a lot of cinema that's like you gotta
- 31:13Speaker 6: play the game. If everybody else is doing it, you
- 31:15Speaker 6: got to keep up. Like nobody else is doing it,
- 31:18Speaker 6: we're theerhead, right.
- 31:23Speaker 3: This is what made me laugh real quick for.
- 31:28Speaker 5: Daniel said isn't this a little hypocritical from Jake? Wasn't
- 31:32Speaker 5: he eighteen playing middle school ball? And Angel's a.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Great point, really good point.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Got him?
- 31:38Speaker 2: Got it before you get to break.
- 31:42Speaker 6: So Dea Kwin's signed a twenty thousand dollars sign a
- 31:45Speaker 6: bonus to play in the National Football League before coming
- 31:48Speaker 6: to LSU. How how dumb is it? Tennessee linebacker Aaron
- 31:55Speaker 6: Carter took that four hundred dollars flight.
- 31:58Speaker 7: Yeah, oh yeah, and he got yeah.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Yeah, make that makes sense to you?
- 32:03Speaker 4: And and he's in college college.
- 32:08Speaker 7: He's it doesn't. But we talked about how that was
- 32:11Speaker 7: super weird because how does the NCAA have enforcement over
- 32:14Speaker 7: that but nothing else?
- 32:16Speaker 6: That's what they That's the line in the sand, right, Yeah,
- 32:18Speaker 6: a three hundred and fifty seven dollars Southwest flight place
- 32:24Speaker 6: sat in the middle too.
- 32:27Speaker 4: You got suspended.
- 32:27Speaker 6: He wanted to take he probably he wanted to take
- 32:29Speaker 6: the cheap one, and he paid it back immediately.
- 32:33Speaker 5: All right, we gotta take a break more OTB when
- 32:36Speaker 5: we come back here, Lave from the raising King studio

- 34:08Speaker 3: What you come here?
- 34:09Speaker 9: Fall in four nine and the full five.
- 34:16Speaker 8: But taking me down as the prisoner's riots.
- 34:28Speaker 5: All right, welcome back in OTB here live from the
- 34:31Speaker 5: raids of KNES Studio. I did mention earlier in passing
- 34:34Speaker 5: this is the official start of college football this weekend.
- 34:38Speaker 5: We do get week zero games that actually count, gonna
- 34:42Speaker 5: be like in the standings in the entire deal. I
- 34:45Speaker 5: think we talked about this a little bit last week.
- 34:49Speaker 5: It's not exactly like the who's who of Slate, but
- 34:52Speaker 5: you do get North Carolina and TCU.
- 34:55Speaker 3: That game is going to be in Dublin.
- 34:57Speaker 5: You get NC State in Virginia as we well, that
- 35:00Speaker 5: game is going to be at two thirty over on
- 35:04Speaker 5: ESPN SO and Jacksonville State North Dakota State. Everybody might
- 35:09Speaker 5: not be excited about that one, but I'm looking forward
- 35:12Speaker 5: to it.
- 35:12Speaker 3: So once we finalized rosters here in game week.
- 35:19Speaker 2: You're talking about college rosters.
- 35:21Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, we're about a week and a half away
- 35:23Speaker 6: from those college football rosters getting ironed.
- 35:26Speaker 3: And how have we not heard from Diego Pavia yet?
- 35:31Speaker 4: Yeah, how was he not first in line.
- 35:34Speaker 5: Like at something or to try to get something? Because
- 35:38Speaker 5: he got released by the Ravens a long time ago.
- 35:40Speaker 4: I don't think he's been He haven't been picked up
- 35:42Speaker 4: by anybody either.
- 35:43Speaker 2: I know of who's Vandy's quarterback this year?
- 35:46Speaker 7: Well, that's true to it pre season during Diego camp,
- 35:54Speaker 7: because he's many.
- 35:55Speaker 4: Vandy's started a true crusty.
- 35:59Speaker 2: And he did used Diego then.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Like a number one quarterback. He switched from Georgia to Bany.
- 36:04Speaker 6: Do you think Diego will be Vandy's quarterback at any
- 36:06Speaker 6: point this year?
- 36:07Speaker 2: What are the odds on that you.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Like?
- 36:12Speaker 2: Taylor would like to see it though, No, I would
- 36:14Speaker 2: hate to see it. He'd love to see it.
- 36:17Speaker 4: People playing the game, dude, I don't. You don't have
- 36:19Speaker 4: to like the game.
- 36:21Speaker 6: I don't. I don't like the game either. They don
- 36:24Speaker 6: you love it with the biggest smile on your face.
- 36:27Speaker 6: This morning, we got we got that NFL guy was
- 36:32Speaker 6: soap pumped.
- 36:33Speaker 4: We needed a good backup to trade as I don't
- 36:35Speaker 4: pretty now. We did need a backup trade as I
- 36:37Speaker 4: don't remember remember. I'm fired up about that though.
- 36:40Speaker 7: We ARETI wasn't great.
- 36:43Speaker 5: Real quick like you didn't like Zach Grace and Malachi
- 36:47Speaker 5: Thomas were they're both juniors.
- 36:49Speaker 3: You didn't you don't like one of them?
- 36:51Speaker 4: No, I like them much of the NFL guy, they're
- 36:53Speaker 4: a little Look, they're a little unproven. I mean Melachai
- 36:56Speaker 4: Thomas one hundred and ninety two yards receiving last year,
- 36:58Speaker 4: Pitt the right seven.
- 37:03Speaker 6: Football players, they're proven football NFL football footballers.
- 37:12Speaker 7: You know what cracks me up. I know the Internet
- 37:13Speaker 7: is super stupid, so whatever, but like the Ole Miss
- 37:16Speaker 7: fan base being so out their minds about the lockdown,
- 37:19Speaker 7: Ole Miss guy was like LSU's so evil. They need
- 37:23Speaker 7: to be like they need repercussions, like we're Darth Vader
- 37:28Speaker 7: or something. They're losing their minds. But they just sued
- 37:31Speaker 7: the NC doublea so that Trinidad Schaandlers can play a
- 37:34Speaker 7: sixth year and made up like a fake injury. He
- 37:38Speaker 7: had a sore throat so he gets to play another
- 37:40Speaker 7: sixth year. And you had a Mississippi judge that cried
- 37:45Speaker 7: while he let Trinidad play a sixth year. This man's
- 37:48Speaker 7: crying that Trinidad gets to play another year. But LSU's
- 37:55Speaker 7: the bad guy. I know, it's not the exact same thing,
- 38:00Speaker 7: But I'm just saying it's a little funny.
- 38:01Speaker 4: Yeah, and Papia did this a year ago so that
- 38:03Speaker 4: he could have played last year. But it's only a
- 38:04Speaker 4: problem when the elshue does it.
- 38:07Speaker 7: I mean, Greg Sankey's out here with the basketball.
- 38:11Speaker 4: Team, which honestly shout out to Greg SANKI. If you're
- 38:14Speaker 4: trying to be the adult in the room and it
- 38:16Speaker 4: makes some sort of rules, it's not gonna work because
- 38:18Speaker 4: they're just gonna sue their way out of that too.
- 38:20Speaker 6: Not only a problem with LASU does we we poo
- 38:22Speaker 6: pooed on Trinidad's thing for four months over here. This
- 38:26Speaker 6: is just a different level. I mean, that's the problem.
- 38:30Speaker 6: It just incrementally gets worse and worse. Yeah, it's getting
- 38:32Speaker 6: It's like the frog and the boiling pot of water.
- 38:35Speaker 6: You slowly boiler it's just sitting there and just kill himself.
- 38:39Speaker 6: Well yeah, if you put him into it, jump out,
- 38:44Speaker 6: just slowly degrades. HM college football solely grades where it
- 38:51Speaker 6: is unrecognizable.
- 38:53Speaker 5: Matt, this one's probably for you. Mister Biggs says he
- 38:56Speaker 5: was being cut by the Browns. I mean, are you
- 38:58Speaker 5: really an NFL player?
- 39:01Speaker 6: So you got a helmet a contract too, it's in
- 39:03Speaker 6: a contract. Got paid money, got.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Paid twenty thousand dollars. So yeah, I mean you are.
- 39:14Speaker 6: M hm so yes, that's the answer is yes, you
- 39:17Speaker 6: are got your opportunity.
- 39:20Speaker 4: You're on the roster.
- 39:21Speaker 6: You play college football to have the opportunity to have
- 39:26Speaker 6: the opportunity he has had and he got it, and
- 39:29Speaker 6: he got the opportunity.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Now he gets the he can through a who.
- 39:35Speaker 7: Make a bit of a leap and do you better
- 39:37Speaker 7: in the draft next season. Absolutely give himself a better opportunity.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Wait, it's going to be a feel good story.
- 39:45Speaker 5: Yeah, because these players do have to get released and
- 39:47Speaker 5: the Browns released, right I think? I mean Todd Munkins
- 39:51Speaker 5: comments after the game, like you could tell he was
- 39:53Speaker 5: not happy about the whole situation.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Yeah, because he's a Yeah, he's a football guy. Yeah.
- 40:00Speaker 6: I think the opening line was, isn't this s crazy?
- 40:03Speaker 6: Isn't this S crazy? I was wondering why Lane called
- 40:05Speaker 6: me last week? Yeah I did say I'm glad I
- 40:08Speaker 6: didn't call him back or something like that.
- 40:09Speaker 7: Yeah that's funny.
- 40:10Speaker 6: Yeah, so they got into that, and Okay, what does
- 40:14Speaker 6: NFL not want? It doesn't want distractions as soon as
- 40:16Speaker 6: that comes out, the guy gets released.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Yeah, oh yeah, NFL.
- 40:22Speaker 5: The thing they hate the most is distractions, But they
- 40:25Speaker 5: really hate him the most daring right now for getting
- 40:28Speaker 5: ready for like training camp coming to an end setting
- 40:30Speaker 5: fifty three man roster.
- 40:32Speaker 3: Oh so, because like if Jack Pybrin.
- 40:35Speaker 5: Decided, like right now that he was going to come
- 40:37Speaker 5: to LSU, Tampa Bay would hold his right still because
- 40:41Speaker 5: even though he didn't get drafted, he signed a professional
- 40:43Speaker 5: contract with the Buccaneers, and he would also have to
- 40:46Speaker 5: probably pay whatever signing bonus he got back. I think
- 40:48Speaker 5: he actually got a pretty decent one, if I'm not mistaken,
- 40:51Speaker 5: because he was a priority free agent. Sometimes he's priority
- 40:55Speaker 5: free agents will get six figures as a signing.
- 40:57Speaker 4: But I think he did get a one hundred thousands.
- 40:59Speaker 5: Because they, you know, they think you're a draftable player.
- 41:01Speaker 5: They just didn't have the chance to draft you, and
- 41:03Speaker 5: so they'll I don't want to say overpay, but they'll
- 41:05Speaker 5: give you way more than what's what T Bob always
- 41:09Speaker 5: say that he got, Oh, I don't know, it was
- 41:12Speaker 5: seven hundred and fifty bucks.
- 41:13Speaker 4: Yeah, he's like, I lost money because it took me
- 41:16Speaker 4: more to get out there.

- 42:29Speaker 1: Off the Bench with Hester and Flynn presented by Buyue Automotive.
- 42:51Speaker 3: All right, welcome back you in ot B.
- 43:02Speaker 7: I think the pendulum needs to swing so far this
- 43:04Speaker 7: way for it to get back to That's how it
- 43:07Speaker 7: always works, like throughout history, Like, yeah, what do you
- 43:11Speaker 7: say you had to burn down to rebuild it or whatever.
- 43:14Speaker 7: I mean, the pendulum was so far one way where
- 43:16Speaker 7: the NCUBA had all the power, and now it's swung
- 43:19Speaker 7: in the other direction. I just think like we're gonna
- 43:22Speaker 7: eventually get rid of the nc double A and the
- 43:24Speaker 7: commissioners of like the SEC, Like Greg Sankie is going
- 43:28Speaker 7: to run the SEC, and it's gonna be with like
- 43:32Speaker 7: the TV rights and stuff like that, Like it's gonna
- 43:35Speaker 7: turn into something fully.
- 43:36Speaker 5: Blame for all this, Yeah, because they didn't do anything forever,
- 43:40Speaker 5: right and when like when we were playing the things
- 43:44Speaker 5: that they used to try to get people in trouble for.
- 43:47Speaker 5: I've told the story before it Like I had to
- 43:49Speaker 5: go to compliance one time because my uncle, my blood yeah,
- 43:54Speaker 5: dad's brother bought me groceries and I had to go
- 43:57Speaker 5: to compliance.
- 43:59Speaker 3: Wild like we had like kind of like proved.
- 44:01Speaker 7: Like we were from See that's super extreme.
- 44:04Speaker 3: Literally groceries. He's throwing me a bone.
- 44:07Speaker 5: Yeah, Like that's ridiculous. And then they were that for
- 44:11Speaker 5: so long, and then you know, stuff started to fall.
- 44:14Speaker 5: They started to lose every court battle that they were in,
- 44:17Speaker 5: and so to your point, you're right, like we're on
- 44:19Speaker 5: the complete other side of that now when if we
- 44:21Speaker 5: were in the middle, I think everybody would be happy
- 44:23Speaker 5: with that direction. The n c double A for so
- 44:26Speaker 5: long was so unwilling to change and they had the
- 44:29Speaker 5: same rules in place for like ever, and now it's flawless.
- 44:36Speaker 2: It is.
- 44:37Speaker 6: We were kind of talking about a break about the NFL,
- 44:40Speaker 6: like NFL is doesn't it's gonna think this is really dumb.
- 44:44Speaker 2: They're not gonna like, they're not gonna lie.
- 44:45Speaker 6: I think Todd Munkins feelings is pretty much widespread and
- 44:49Speaker 6: there's probably never been a bigger separation gap between the
- 44:52Speaker 6: people in the NFL and the people in college now.
- 44:55Speaker 6: And it's just like be careful what you yes for.
- 44:59Speaker 6: If the NFL decided, Hey, look, I know we have
- 45:01Speaker 6: this agreement. We kind of work with each other. We'll
- 45:04Speaker 6: just start playing our games on Saturday. Because it's a
- 45:06Speaker 6: big market. We can we can do more prime time games.
- 45:09Speaker 6: We'll take your market share. Yeah, then the money starts
- 45:15Speaker 6: trying up.
- 45:21Speaker 2: Glug glug.
- 45:22Speaker 7: I'm not doing the glug glug. That's Taylor's job.
- 45:25Speaker 3: That's all he does.
- 45:27Speaker 5: Such on it before sometimes you all right, all right,
- 45:32Speaker 5: all right, we'll be back hour number two.
