- 3:01Errol's got it Errol. It's the NBA trade deadline day.
- 3:05It happened at 3:00. We're going to do a segment on
- 3:07it right after this. I went back in time Errol, and
- 3:11found the most recent weird names that have been traded at
- 3:16the deadline. Let's start today, sounded.
- 3:21Out. First one up here he is.
- 3:24I think Brooklyn had him sounded.
- 3:29Chimezi Metu. Oh, Speedy.
- 3:33That's good. Oh, let's give him the the Ding
- 3:37Ding Ding. I got 1.
- 3:40He got one. Everybody all right?
- 3:44Kiss my ass everybody, You can't laugh at me tonight.
- 3:47Start the music back up one for one.
- 3:51Can't get better than that. Only one way to go from here.
- 3:54Next name coming on down the Pike.
- 3:59Coming down the pipe. There it is.
- 4:02Oh my God, sound it out. One at one point was thought of
- 4:10as a pretty good three and D guy.
- 4:12I believe in Sixers. Sixers.
- 4:15May TC Fibul. See Buell.
- 4:22Here that your version is pretty good.
- 4:25That's Matisse Tibal. All right, one for two.
- 4:30That's not half bad. Let's get the music back up for
- 4:33one more. Here it comes.
- 4:38The last one. We've already gone down the Pike
- 4:41now around the corner, down the stream.
- 4:44Oh. My God, dial it up.
- 4:46You got to be kidding me. Yeah.
- 4:48I don't even know this one, Chuck.
- 4:54Would it be here Mad you Boom. What the hell is this?
- 5:06This is. Ridiculous.
- 5:10Hold on, I spent literally the last 10 minutes of the last
- 5:13segment learning how to pronounce this Chukwudiabere
- 5:17madua boom. You knew I was getting this one.
- 5:20From Nigeria, obviously. All right.
- 5:23I mean, good luck on that one. Well, one for three that would
- 5:28make the All Star game in any any year in.
- 5:30Baseball. Baseball.
- 5:32Nice job. That's the only sport I think.
- 5:35That works for it, but great job sounding it out.
- 5:39Oh my God, what a show. Man, you got to be kidding me.
- 5:46All right, ladies and gentlemen, we, we got to go to the NBA
- 5:50trade deadline, aren't we? We're getting into that.
- 5:52Yeah, All right, let's get it going.
- 5:55Tommy. Get the NBA music on.
- 5:58Here it is. Starting it off.
- 6:00We'll just pull it on over to the side with our new graphic.
- 6:05Wherever it is. There it is.
- 6:08And our top story, The Mavericks have traded Anthony Davis.
- 6:15Let's get that a little bit lower.
- 6:17But Anthony Davis last year was traded for Luka Doncic.
- 6:22Unbelievable story that no one saw coming.
- 6:26They fire Nico Harrison beginning of this season and
- 6:29less than a season later threw plenty more injuries.
- 6:33Anthony Davis is gone. Here's the details of the trade.
- 6:36The Washington Wizards acquire Anthony Davis, Jaden Hardy, D
- 6:41Angelo Russell and Dante Exim. Dallas receives Chris Middleton
- 6:47from Washington, AJ Johnson, Tyus Jones from Charlotte,
- 6:51Marvin Bagley the third from Washington.
- 6:55This year's first round pick from Oklahoma City so not a good
- 6:59first round pick and 20 thirties first round pick from Golden
- 7:03State might be good and three future second round picks from
- 7:07Washington. Charlotte gets some guy no one's
- 7:10ever heard of. It's just one of the most
- 7:14embarrassing trades of all time now, right, Errol?
- 7:16First of all. Washington wins this trade,
- 7:19there's no doubt about it, because we've seen this with the
- 7:22Knicks with Porzingis. Those first round draft picks
- 7:24could be absolutely nothing. And Anthony Davis is still a
- 7:27competent guy. He's a double, double machine
- 7:30when he gets back and he's healthy in the second-half of
- 7:32the season. I mean, it bodes well for the
- 7:34Knicks if they if, if, if the Wizards fall out of the top 8,
- 7:39which right now they're 4th or 5th, the Knicks get their pick.
- 7:42So if it's nine or 10, the Knicks will be sitting pretty
- 7:45for this year's draft, sitting at 9 or 10.
- 7:47So it's good news for the Knicks and not good for the East
- 7:50because the Wizards are getting better.
- 7:52Say whatever you want. You got Trey Young and you have
- 7:55Anthony Davis, you have D'Angelo Russell and and and by the way,
- 7:59going back to the Dallas Mavericks, all they're trying to
- 8:02do is get rid of contracts. Those guys, Begley, all of them,
- 8:05they're not even going to be under contract next year.
- 8:07So they're opening up free agency, maybe Giannis next year
- 8:11playing with Cooper flag and whoever they draft in the top
- 8:13three, because it looks like that's where Dallas is going to
- 8:16land once again. Maybe Cam Boozer or one of those
- 8:20guys sitting there pretty playing with Cooper flag next
- 8:23year with be honest. I mean, Dallas could
- 8:27automatically be a contender contender in the in the in the
- 8:31Western Conference next year if this all happens.
- 8:34I I mean it, it works for both teams, but Dallas got nothing
- 8:39out of that trade. So I think it was great for the
- 8:41Wizards. I think the Wizards are set up
- 8:43pretty well and if they could stay in the top 8, they're going
- 8:46to get themselves a very high draft pick and they still have
- 8:49two competent superstars that can help this team move forward,
- 8:52which they probably couldn't get in free agency.
- 8:55Yeah, you're, you're dealing with a trade of three backup
- 8:58point guards, essentially. Russell's probably the best one,
- 9:00but then Tyus Jones and and Dante.
- 9:02Actually could trade for them. I mean, yeah, they get a lot of
- 9:04guys, but those are all expiring contracts.
- 9:05It doesn't matter. Marvin Bagley is the guy that
- 9:08was two number two pick that turned out to be a boss.
- 9:10So far, so good job. Nico Harrison, That's all you
- 9:12guys been trading for. Luka Dodgek was just that guy
- 9:15that this amazing condition today.
- 9:17As Knicks fans now, we're hoping that your conditioning tactics
- 9:19with Anthony Davis could actually come true and he could
- 9:21say health. It's a great move for the
- 9:23Wizards. I mean, think about it, Anthony
- 9:25Davis and Trey Young. Anthony Davis is going to love
- 9:28it there. He's going to be the go to guy.
- 9:30Trey Young will be #2 and I think it's going to be fun to
- 9:32watch. I think the Wizards are going to
- 9:34be pretty good. Now, if they can get healthy,
- 9:36Davis could stay healthy. They're going to win a lot of
- 9:39games, maybe not this year, but next year, especially in the
- 9:42draft if they can get that top a pick.
- 9:44So I think it's a good move for the Wizards.
- 9:46Not a very, very good move for The Mavericks, but The Mavericks
- 9:48are looking for the future, trying to add to draft.
- 9:51So I think that's what they're trying to do, build a round
- 9:53flag. If that's what they're trying to
- 9:55do, Errol, they all they got and this is the net trade
- 9:59acquisition for Luca Doncic now. So now they they got what they
- 10:02got for him in the first trade. Now they moved Anthony Davis.
- 10:05This is the total return now for Luca, Chris Middleton, Max
- 10:09Christie, who's actually been pretty good, Marvin Bagley, the
- 10:11third who's on his like 13th team, AJ Johnson, Malachi
- 10:16Branham, along with three first round picks in 2026 that we said
- 10:21was the last pick of the draft or close to it. 29 and 30 and 3
- 10:24second round picks. Garbage that doesn't.
- 10:27I wouldn't want that for Luka Doncic.
- 10:30That's crazy. Well, let's move on to the next
- 10:33one, which is James Harden wanted out of a place again and
- 10:37gets his wishes again. I don't know how this guy keeps
- 10:40getting it done. There was some broadcaster who
- 10:44just went in on him. I forgot the guy's name, but he
- 10:47just basically said that he's been enabled his entire career.
- 10:49Daryl Morey gave him everything. Then he turned on Daryl Morey.
- 10:54Well, he wanted to go to the Clippers and all of a sudden he
- 10:57doesn't want to be there anymore.
- 10:58He asked for a trade in the middle of a game and just just
- 11:03really stupid, really ugly. So what do they get for him?
- 11:07They get Darius Garland back in a second round pick.
- 11:10It's almost a straight up deal. Darius Garland for hard for
- 11:13Harden. Basically Harden had veto power
- 11:16over anything. But Harden, of course, is going
- 11:19Oh, I wanted them to have a chance to build in the future.
- 11:22That's why I waved my my no trade clause, trying to act like
- 11:27he's this, you know, great Samaritan for the team he is.
- 11:31Now cry baby, Cleveland's making a big mistake.
- 11:35I understand that Darius Garland and Mitchell, Donovan Mitchell
- 11:40weren't getting along on and off the court, and that's probably
- 11:42Garland wanted to be traded last year, but they couldn't move
- 11:45them. Garland is getting a little bit
- 11:47more healthier now. The Clippers are getting a good
- 11:49guard, a guy that can do a lot of different things.
- 11:52He actually plays somewhat defense, something that Harden
- 11:55doesn't do. Harden is a prolific offensive
- 11:58player, but he's the same kind of player as Donovan Mitchell.
- 12:01He needs the ball in his hand. This is not going to work,
- 12:04ladies and gentlemen. It's not.
- 12:05They think they got better. They got worse.
- 12:08I think Darius Garland is a better overall player than James
- 12:11Harden. I think it's a bad move for it's
- 12:13a good move for the Clippers, bad move for the Cleveland
- 12:16Cavaliers. They the Cleveland Cavaliers got
- 12:17worse for this move. Yeah, Josh hinted on his show on
- 12:21Tuesday this trade was pending at that time.
- 12:23It happened at 2 a couple hours later after his show.
- 12:25And it just makes no sense for the Cavs.
- 12:27Like, yes, I know the Cavs need 3 point shooting.
- 12:29They need guys that can be knocked down shooters.
- 12:31They needed that in more of quantity, not as much like one
- 12:34player. We know Harden loves to shoot at
- 12:36a volume. He loves to hog the ball, which
- 12:38doesn't help a case like Donovan Mitchell, who's already a bad
- 12:40usage rate guy as it is. James Harden's another bad usage
- 12:43rate guy. I just can't see that kind of
- 12:44thing working at all. And I feel bad for Kenny
- 12:46Atkinson. You had to get out of Harden
- 12:49when he was with the Nets and now has to get back with him
- 12:51again. And I just think it's really
- 12:52hard to be able to manage that kind of thing.
- 12:54The Clippers, I think, will benefit this trade in the long
- 12:56term. But even that, like, it's not
- 12:58like amazing either. Or Kenny Atkinson.
- 13:00I feel like that stuff like this happens to Kenny Atkinson all
- 13:03the freaking time. That's just awful.
- 13:06Whatever. It's just you know, it's not
- 13:08going to work for very long. Maybe true.
- 13:12Here's the next one. This one I thought was really
- 13:14surprising. Not so much that he was traded
- 13:17because we knew that Jaron Jackson Junior was on the
- 13:19market, but that it was to Utah, who is going nowhere this
- 13:23season. It's an 8 player deal.
- 13:26It was actually the first trade that happened yesterday.
- 13:29A lot of trades happened all at the same time.
- 13:31It was three first round picks along with rookie guard Walter
- 13:36Clayton Junior. You might remember him from
- 13:38winning the national championship with Florida.
- 13:39He was the big guy making all the plays last year, playing
- 13:43like a mini, mini Jalen Brunson out there and he gets they get
- 13:46forward Kyle Anderson back, Taylor Hendricks and Georges
- 13:50Nyang and that's the deal. The Jazz also get centre Jacques
- 13:54Landale and guards John Conchar and Vince Williams juniors in
- 13:58the deal. There's also the picks are 2027.
- 14:02It looks like swaps. He's one of the better.
- 14:04You know, we're listening to I was listening to people talk
- 14:07about it. He plays centre on the offensive
- 14:11side, on the defensive side of the ball, except he's better
- 14:14playing with the centre is what they say because he's
- 14:17undersized. So he's kind of like a tweener
- 14:204-5 type guy. But he's good enough outside
- 14:23shooting that you can kind of get away with them at other
- 14:26spots. As far as Utah, they got
- 14:28marking. They got marking in still.
- 14:29They didn't have to give him up to get him.
- 14:31So now you got that core. Walker Kessler comes back next
- 14:34year. Maybe they have something.
- 14:36I guess Kessler is going to do the rebounding.
- 14:37I this triple J5 rebounds a. Game.
- 14:40I do not get this trade. Jaron Jackson is one of the best
- 14:44defensive players in the league. Two way players can do
- 14:46everything. And again, Danny Ainge obviously
- 14:50screws another organization and steals another player from
- 14:53another team. He's done it many, many times
- 14:55with the Boston Celtics and now he's doing with the Utah Jazz in
- 14:59This is a horrible trade, a horrible trade for the
- 15:02Grizzlies. Terrible, terrible move.
- 15:05I, I think there's no doubt Utah wins this trade. 2027 picks.
- 15:10Are they really going to be that high of a picks?
- 15:13I don't think it's going to work.
- 15:14I I think it's wrong. So I it's a slam dunk for Utah.
- 15:18Yeah, I think Jaren Jackson still going to create good
- 15:21value. I I think it's weird because
- 15:23they have a lot of those forward prototypes now that I feel like
- 15:25marketing seems like he would have been maybe, maybe an
- 15:28offseason trade. Now Kessler has been in rumors
- 15:30for an offseason trade because they have now three of those
- 15:32same types. I don't think any of these guys
- 15:33can transition into a three. So that's the only thing that's
- 15:35a bad value. But Jackson's a great player.
- 15:37Like I think you can't go wrong with it.
- 15:39I I it's weird. Memphis, we saw them do this
- 15:42with Bane in the offseason. They got four first round picks
- 15:44out of that. Now they're accumulating a lot
- 15:45more. I think they're kind of knowing
- 15:46that they can't get good value for John Moran.
- 15:48So they're trying to trade everything else at this point.
- 15:49So I'm not going to fault the Grizzlies for trying to get good
- 15:51value because I don't know how many.
- 15:53Get a good value for Jackson. That's not good value.
- 15:56I mean, what do they get to get out of that?
- 15:58Yeah, nothing. They're not winning because.
- 16:00This is the same thing the Knicks did with Porzingis.
- 16:04They get they they thought they were getting first round draft
- 16:06picks and high first round draft picks because they didn't think
- 16:09the Dallas Mavericks were going to be any good because Luka
- 16:12Doncic was trying to figure out and he can't stay healthy and
- 16:15Porzingis never stays healthy. They thought they were going to
- 16:17get high picks. What did they get?
- 16:18They got 2 second round draft picks for Kristaps Porzingis
- 16:21that helped the Boston Celtics win a championship.
- 16:23Yeah, it's not this year's draft.
- 16:25That's the only downside, I think to this deal when you look
- 16:27at it because the Grizzlies did dwell getting some with those
- 16:30Orlando picks and some of the picks they got from the other
- 16:32teams. It's a horrible move.
- 16:33Yeah, this. That's the only downside with
- 16:35this trade. But Utah now is probably going
- 16:37to have to trade one of those other guys.
- 16:38Danny Ainge is sitting pretty right now.
- 16:40He's smiling to the bank because he got himself a two way player
- 16:44that you probably don't get what what you're, what you're
- 16:47getting, what you're trading for.
- 16:48You got a really, really good player, an elite player who's an
- 16:52All Star. So Danny Ainge hit a home run on
- 16:55this move and he gave up three first round draft picks that are
- 16:58going to probably be bad first round draft picks.
- 17:01So. Yeah, they're down the road.
- 17:03So let's get into the next topic.
- 17:05And that one is a former Nick Kristops.
- 17:08Porzingis on the move again. He's an expiring deal.
- 17:11Who does he go for? The Warriors figure out how to
- 17:14get rid of Jonathan Kaminga. They move him in.
- 17:16Buddy Hield, one of the great chuckers of the last decade.
- 17:21It's. A great move, by the way.
- 17:24The entirety of the deal looks like that's it.
- 17:27There's no other picks involved in it.
- 17:30It's an expiring contract for Porzingis.
- 17:34The Warriors Cominga's five season tenure with the Golden
- 17:38States over it gives the Warriors a veteran stretch
- 17:41center on his expiring $30.7 million contract.
- 17:46He has this weird illness, Porzingis, we were talking
- 17:49about, it's called POTS. I don't know if you've ever
- 17:51heard of POTS. Maybe Britney knows a little bit
- 17:53more about this. It stands for post postural
- 17:56orthostatic tachycardia, which is heart syndrome if I'm not
- 18:01mistaken. I could be wrong about that, but
- 18:03it's about I know he has problems with his feet.
- 18:05I know it's something with circulation.
- 18:07I know he he, it's really hard for him to be effective for long
- 18:11stretches. So I don't know what they're
- 18:12getting out of him. At the same time, it's better
- 18:16than whatever they were getting out of Kaminga, isn't it?
- 18:18I think they're getting a good player and a player that can hit
- 18:21up a, you know, shoot a bunch of threes.
- 18:23They're going to with playing with a guy like Steph Curry,
- 18:26it's going to open up the court. Playing in a triangle offense is
- 18:29going to make Porzingis a little bit better.
- 18:30He actually played in a little bit of the triangle offense when
- 18:34he was with the Knicks, so he knows a little bit about this
- 18:36offense. I think this is a good move for
- 18:38the Golden State Warriors. Even if you get 12 to 13 points
- 18:42of Porzingis, you're going to get war for Porzingis or when it
- 18:45comes to rebounding and blocks then you would get from Caminga
- 18:48who didn't want to be there. I think this is a good move for
- 18:51the Golden State Warriors if they want to sneak into the
- 18:52playoffs and make some kind of run.
- 18:54I think this is a good move for a one year deal for the Golden
- 18:59State Warriors, Not a good deal for you know who.
- 19:03Hawks yeah, it's it's weird because Trey Young they trade
- 19:07away another Oklahoma guy and Buddy Heal they bring another
- 19:09Oklahoma guy that's just as much of A streaky shooter as Trey
- 19:11Young is. It was also turnover prone
- 19:13coming has been injury prone and.
- 19:14What are the Hawks do it? Yeah, it seems like a middling
- 19:18team for a while that I just think.
- 19:20They got a good young player in Johnson, I mean.
- 19:22Yeah, they have. They have a core that is rising,
- 19:25but it seems like. This is a bad team.
- 19:27They're missing something still and I don't think they're
- 19:30missing a lot. I don't think this was the move
- 19:32to do it. You're getting 2 very big
- 19:33question marks here with the with the Hawks.
- 19:35I think they're going to be stuck as a play in team again
- 19:37this year. Porzingis to the Golden State.
- 19:39Yeah, they've been eyeing A4 for a while.
- 19:41I think they realize that Draymond Green is undersized for
- 19:43a four at this in this today's NBA.
- 19:45Like you could get away with it maybe 7-8 years ago when the
- 19:48league was a little smaller. Now they're all these stretch
- 19:50guys are in the in there and now they need somebody like
- 19:53Porzingis. They keep them long term.
- 19:54I don't think so, but at least it will help them try to elevate
- 19:57them to another chance to not be a play in team and not have to
- 20:00play those extra games. But Even so, will that be
- 20:02enough? 1st of.
- 20:04All I mean the hulks full rebuild right?
- 20:05Yeah, the Hulks are terrible. And now if I was Johnson, I want
- 20:08to get out of there too. Trade me, Get Me Out of here.
- 20:12I don't want to be there. So he's going to be their guy.
- 20:14They're going to Max him out. We'll see what happens with the
- 20:17rest of the the Hawks. I expect them to be tanking.
- 20:20Right. Let's go through the rest of the
- 20:22the other deals. We'll get to the Nixon next Nets
- 20:24and what they did at the deadline.
- 20:26Last one trade and one superiors cut.
- 20:28But here's a list of the other deals that happened.
- 20:31The Celtics traded for Nicola Butschevich, they traded Anthony
- 20:36Anthony and Ferny Simons and a second round pick.
- 20:39They got Simons from Portland either a year ago or or less or
- 20:44two years ago, I don't remember, but it just didn't seem to be
- 20:47working over there. They get a scoring center.
- 20:50Makes a lot of sense over there. Another one, Chris Paul was on
- 20:54the move, but I don't think he's reporting.
- 20:56This is probably it for Chris Paul.
- 20:57Vu Savitch is a great move for the Celtics.
- 21:00They added another big a good offensive big.
- 21:02It makes them a lot better. He's a he's a mean player.
- 21:06He's going to go up, he's going to give you how hard fouls.
- 21:08I remember Vu Savitch. I think he played for the the
- 21:11Orlando Magic for a while our. Latest career?
- 21:13Yeah. And I like Vu Savitch.
- 21:16I wanted him for the Knicks when he became a free agent.
- 21:19The Knicks obviously didn't make that move.
- 21:21I I like that move. Logical Bull is going to be a
- 21:23free agent. He's going to get waved.
- 21:25He's going to choose where he wants to go.
- 21:27Don't be surprised if he goes to the Lakers again or he goes to
- 21:30the Golden State Warriors as a backup point guard.
- 21:32That's what I think is going to happen.
- 21:34He hasn't been healthy this year, so we'll see if he comes
- 21:38back and he's healthy. If he is, if he does come back
- 21:40and he's healthy, he could be a good option off the bench as the
- 21:43number 7 #8 guy. So I I I probably go with that.
- 21:47Shay's got a abdominal injury. He's going to be out till the
- 21:51All Star break. McCain gives them a real point
- 21:53guard to run the offense while he's out.
- 21:56He's McCain had that meniscus injury after he started his
- 22:00rookie season super hot, super hot from Duke.
- 22:03Like right out of the gate, he was looking like he was going to
- 22:05be like a surprise rookie of the year candidate.
- 22:08And you know, he got hurt. It just didn't come back full
- 22:11strength. I, I think the Thunder know what
- 22:13they're doing, man. The Thunder know what they're
- 22:16doing. This guy can play as a year ago
- 22:19people were talking about him as like this can't miss guy going
- 22:21forwards and now the Thunder just get him for a late first
- 22:24round pick. Pretty wild.
- 22:26Let's get to the Knicks and the Nets.
- 22:28The biggest one was the Knicks, at least of the two of the
- 22:32teams, acquiring point guard Jose Alvarado, Brooklyn native
- 22:38from the New Orleans Pelicans, in exchange for Dalen Terry, 2
- 22:42second round picks and cash. This came right after the Knicks
- 22:46found out Miles McBride is going to go under, undergo core muscle
- 22:49surgery. He's out probably for the rest
- 22:52of the regular season with that injury, or at least to the late
- 22:56season. They don't know exactly yet, but
- 22:58they definitely needed to have something else.
- 23:00They got Tyler Kolek there, but Alvarado is a defensive whiz.
- 23:04Errol, I told you his nickname earlier.
- 23:06They call him GTA Grand Theft. Alvarado.
- 23:11And on the other side, the Nets, curiously, simply just cut their
- 23:17top scorer from the last two seasons, Cam Thomas.
- 23:21They hasn't been playing well this year.
- 23:23But at the same time, I don't know how you get nothing for a
- 23:27guy that was your arguably your best player for two years.
- 23:31I love the Jose Alvarado move. I love it.
- 23:34The Knicks have been trying to go after him for the last two
- 23:36years. He was their number one guy.
- 23:37They were going after him at the trade deadline.
- 23:39Everybody thought it was Yannis. It was Alvarado.
- 23:42Alvarado was from Brooklyn. He's a scrapper.
- 23:44He's a great defender. He's going to get up on you.
- 23:47He's going to put a lot of pressure on you.
- 23:48He can shoot threes. He's he's a clips guy.
- 23:52He's a guy that's going to go out there and he's going to do
- 23:54something in a game that you're going to remember him, you know,
- 23:57in the playoffs. So you're going to remember him
- 23:59during the season. I think he's fun to watch.
- 24:01I think he's going to be explosive for the Knicks and
- 24:03remember McBride could be out until the playoffs.
- 24:05So he's going to fill in for McBride.
- 24:07He's going to give them that depth that they need off the
- 24:09bench and he might eventually get that six man off the bench
- 24:13over Kolek. He's that kind of guy and he's
- 24:15always wanted to play New York. He grew up a New York Knicks
- 24:18fan. He grew up.
- 24:19If I'm not a Pablo Prigione thing.
- 24:23Wow. I think I think it was.
- 24:25Pablo. I love Pablo me.
- 24:27Too. Yeah.
- 24:27So I think he was. He grew up a Pablo Prigione fan,
- 24:30so he's always loved the New York Knicks.
- 24:33And now he gets a chance to play at home in front of his family,
- 24:36in front of the fans. Madison Square Garden is the
- 24:38place to be. And.
- 24:39And he said it. He didn't know this was going to
- 24:42happen. He said it and he said it that
- 24:45it was a lot of back and forth, but he didn't think this was
- 24:47going to get done. And me and Speedy were talking
- 24:50about it. When the Knicks made that move
- 24:53yesterday, I said they're going to use that guy to cuz I, I
- 24:56never even heard of this guy, Dak or back, whatever his name
- 24:59is. They moved him and a in a couple
- 25:02of draft picks. They gave up nothing for a guy
- 25:04like Jose Alvarado and Jose Alvarado has the ability to do a
- 25:08lot of things that the Knicks have needed in the playoffs
- 25:11needed against the Indiana Pacers.
- 25:13And now they got that guy explosive defensive player and
- 25:16option in the Mike Brown defense.
- 25:17So Lovett as far as the Cam Thomas move, I I don't if he
- 25:21clears waivers, I think the Knicks should definitely look at
- 25:23him. I think he stays in the
- 25:25tri-state area. The Knicks could use another
- 25:27offensive option off the bench Cam Thomas.
- 25:30The fact that they they put him on waivers makes no sense.
- 25:33I don't really think he wanted to be there and now whoever
- 25:36picks him up off a waivers are going to get themselves, I think
- 25:38a good offensive option. So they'll be teams lining up
- 25:41for him if if he if he passes waivers, there is I, I think the
- 25:44Knicks should absolutely sign him.
- 25:45Yeah, he's a scorer that has been in Volume 2 and also can
- 25:48just score efficiently as well. He had a bad year this year,
- 25:51Understandable. But again, you're in a bad
- 25:53situation with the Nets right now.
- 25:54They have not much young players around him and against between
- 25:58the injuries and all that, it's going to wear out and all the
- 25:59coaching changes the Nets have had.
- 26:01It's it's good for a fresh start somewhere else.
- 26:03He came from Phoenix, obviously was a good part a good bench
- 26:06player off the off the bench with the OR not.
- 26:09I should say that he was a LSUI should say he was a good player
- 26:12scorer over there. And I think with the Nets, I
- 26:15think they're just going another direction.
- 26:16I'm surprised they cut him directly.
- 26:18I was surprised they just weighed out and then maybe try
- 26:21to sign and deal him in the offseason.
- 26:22It's just kind of surprising. But the Knicks I I love the
- 26:25Alvarado move. He's fast too.
- 26:27Like this is a guy that moves up and down the court very well.
- 26:29I think explosive. You mentioned good defender and
- 26:32good floor spacer. I think when he does the.
- 26:34Ball, He wants to be here. That's the thing when you have a
- 26:37player that wants to be here, wants to play for this team, his
- 26:41hometown, his family. Brooklyn native.
- 26:44This is a great move for the Knicks and another Leon Leon
- 26:47Rose move. If you're a Knick fan, you
- 26:49should love what Leon Rose is doing.
- 26:51He's doing everything right and he's keeping it pretty simple.
- 26:55He's going after guys that think he thinks will fit this team on
- 26:59a playoff run and the Knicks have a chance to win.
- 27:01They decided to stick with the same guys they didn't want to
- 27:04make and go crazy with the Giannis move.
- 27:06They'll wait until the offseason.
- 27:07If this team fails to win a championship or get into the
- 27:10Finals, I could see a Giannis move some way or another in the
- 27:14offseason. Yeah, and again, you look at the
- 27:15Knicks are trying to move all these extra picks around, too.
- 27:18And you're right, Terry was never going to stay with them.
- 27:20You told me earlier he was just a.
- 27:22Piece. I didn't even know who.
- 27:23He was. I remember him being drafted.
- 27:25He was out of Stanford. He was a good player in college
- 27:28on a really bad team and I think Dallas drafted him in the second
- 27:31round. When I heard they made a trade
- 27:33with, you know, obviously moved him, I, I had no idea, but I
- 27:36said speedy, I, I wouldn't be surprised if they're going to
- 27:39move him in the trade. And, and we were talking about
- 27:41in a 4 minutes later it was posted that they used him in the
- 27:44trade to get Alvarado. And he's, as you said, that
- 27:47that's what they were going to do and that that was probably
- 27:49what they were trying to do. And by the way, they get rid of
- 27:52what's his name against Contra ABBA, Shelly, Michelle.
- 27:55So they got rid of his contract. So it benefits the New York
- 27:58Knicks in the offseason if they try to bring in some free
- 28:00agents. And Alvarado has a player option
- 28:03next year. So, you know he will take that
- 28:05player option, stay in New York where he's from.
- 28:08So I think it works both for the Knicks and Alvarado.
- 28:11It's a. Slim I love, I love Leon Rose
- 28:13Arrow. This guy, if look, he obviously
- 28:16didn't work out. A lot of teams will hold on to
- 28:19their guys too long. They'll get nothing for him.
- 28:21Look at the Nets. They're they, they're best
- 28:23player. They got nothing for him.
- 28:25He looks at Yabi. So he's like, oh, I could turn
- 28:27that into something that I can turn into Jose Alvarado.
- 28:30That's the difference between a good organization and bad
- 28:33organization. I, I'm so happy that the Knicks
- 28:36have Leon Rose that I get to actually root for a good well
- 28:38run organization. What I'm seeing from the Nets is
- 28:41what I saw from the Knicks the last 20 years.
- 28:43That's it's just embarrassing. That can't happen.
- 28:46That's a fireable offense in my opinion.
- 28:48And everybody out there that couldn't stand the move to bring
- 28:51Leon Rose in because he is an agent.
- 28:54It doesn't make sense. He brought in Worldwide W, he
- 28:57brought into his own GM. He put it all together and
- 29:00they're all working together hand, hand in hand.
- 29:03And you can see this team and this organization is moving in
- 29:06the right direction, something that this organization has not
- 29:09been since Pat Riley and Jeff Van Gundy.
- 29:12It's been a long, long time that this organization actually has a
- 29:16competent guy running their organization.
- 29:18This is a great, great move for the New York Knicks.
- 29:21And if you're a Nick fan, you should be excited.
- 29:23And if you're Alvarado he, you're going to see him.
- 29:26He's a good performer. He gives you about 7 or 9 points
- 29:29off the bench. Kenny.
- 29:31Kenny Smith was talking about it today on ESPN.
- 29:34He said when you get a chance to go home and play in front of
- 29:37your home fans and your family, you're a different player.
- 29:40You get to play in Madison Square Garden with a team that's
- 29:42a playoff team. You're leaving a team, the
- 29:44Pelicans that weren't even close to making the playoffs.
- 29:47They're a terrible organization. And now you're going to an
- 29:49organization that has a chance to win a championship.
- 29:52You could be a completely different player.
- 29:53And the Knicks need a point guard, a shutdown point guard
- 29:56that can defend and be a Nat. This is the guy that is a Nat at
- 30:01the point guard position. He'll get on to you.
- 30:03He'll disturb you. He'll get he'll make you make
- 30:06your life a royal hell the whole game and he will run up on you
- 30:10and be a really a flea and I'll try to bite you and bite you and
- 30:13bite you until you, you know, fly, swat him off, fly swat him
- 30:17off. I think he's a great move for
- 30:19the New York Knicks and a great, great, great.
- 30:22And here's another thing that I I was looking at too with this.
- 30:25He has a player option back to what I was saying they can bring
- 30:29him back next year, which you know he's going to take the
- 30:31player option they you know he is and they still can get Dante
- 30:35Divacenzo, who's going to be a free agent in the offseason.
- 30:38And trust me, that's what the Knicks are gunning for in the
- 30:41offseason. They'll move if this fail, if
- 30:43this team fails, they'll move to get Giannis and they'll still
- 30:47bring in Dante Divacenzo another another guy that played with the
- 30:51villain over Knicks. So I I think it'll make a lot of
- 30:54sense in the offseason and you still have José José there.
- 30:58So I think it's a great move for the Knicks, slam dunk for Leon
- 31:01Rose. And if you would ask me right
- 31:03now who won the trade deadline, the Knicks are a top three right
- 31:07now. I mean, they got a guy that's
- 31:09going to be competent, could be a six man, 7th man off the bench
- 31:12and play plays a big part of the Knicks playing the Celtics in
- 31:16the second round cuz that's where they'll be matched up
- 31:18against in the second. If the season were to end right
- 31:20now, the Knicks playing at 2 and the Celtics at 3:00, there's a
- 31:24very good chance the Knicks would be playing the Celtics in
- 31:26the second round. So.
- 31:27Yeah, and the Knicks get a guy that in Alvarado too, that was a
- 31:31good leader of a a Pelican second unit.
- 31:34A younger Drew Holiday. That's what I think he.
- 31:36Yeah, a younger, a younger team. When the Pelicans first got CJ
- 31:40McCollum and a couple of those other guys and they were making
- 31:41the playoffs a couple times, he was the leader of that second
- 31:44unit that was actually a relatively good bench with with
- 31:47Herb Jones, Larry Nance, junior. And he was the he was the guy
- 31:50that was now again, he was not scoring on the same clip the
- 31:52last two years as he was in his previous in his career where he
- 31:56was prolific attacking the ball hoop guy, not an amazing
- 31:59shooter, but could suit efficiently.
- 32:01And I think the way he spaces the floor and on both sides of
- 32:04the ball is something that the Knicks definitely need.
- 32:06Because you're not saying that obviously, with Jordan Clark.
- 32:08Because we were hearing, we were hearing Drew Holiday, that's
- 32:11what we were hearing. And he's an older version of
- 32:15Alvarado. And Alvarado can give you that
- 32:18kind of defense. He can give you that, that
- 32:21prominent offense, especially shooting.
- 32:23The guy could shoot threes and he could spread out.
- 32:25He could, you can use them and spread it and spread the offense
- 32:29out on the perimeter. And he's very fast.
- 32:31Like Speedy said, he can get to the hole as quick as anybody.
- 32:34And, and you, you might see him play with Jalen Brunson on some
- 32:38place. So you might have the
- 32:39opportunity to see a very fast pace.
- 32:42And that's what Mike Brown wants to do.
- 32:43He wants to play the game fast. He fits like a glove in the Mike
- 32:47Brown offense. I love it too because I love
- 32:51Josh Hart and he's been out for a while and they've been going
- 32:54on this run of like 5-6 games in a row without him.
- 32:57It's like if you put Josh Hart at point guard, he would play
- 33:01like Alvarado Place. It's just you're running around
- 33:03like reckless, abandoned, just harassing everybody and then
- 33:08explosive to the whole you don't hit the shot, whatever, take the
- 33:11foul, get the foul shots. It's just more possessions for
- 33:14us, and I love guys that play that way.
- 33:17And look, now you can again reduce Brunson's minutes even
- 33:21more as we get into the second-half of the season.
- 33:24Keep him fresh so that he can hit those shots at the end of
- 33:27the games in the playoffs. That's all that matters.
- 33:29You know, he's capable. He just got to keep him fresh.
- 33:31Tibbs never did. This is a very different type of
- 33:34situation they're going into this year because of how much
- 33:37depth they have, and I just can't wait to see Brunson fresh
- 33:40for the first time in the playoffs this year.
- 33:43It's going to be great. And I think they needed Alvarado
- 33:46for last year against the Indiana Pacers because they had
- 33:48a lot of guard play and, and, and they are two competent point
- 33:52guards and the Knicks didn't. They couldn't guard Halliburton,
- 33:55they couldn't guard any of the guards.
- 33:57And, and now you see what they're doing, you see what
- 34:00Indiana's doing. They're they're practically
- 34:01giving up on the season and that's what you're seeing.
- 34:04And they'll be back next year, ladies and gentlemen.
- 34:06So if the Knicks have a chance to win a championship, it is
- 34:09now. It is now.
- 34:11And by the way, Indiana made a good move, too.
- 34:13They had it a big. Yeah, I was just going to say
- 34:15there was, I left one out, the Benedict Matheran one for
- 34:18Zubach. Zubach is is going to be a play
- 34:21a big dividends next year when Hal Burton comes back because it
- 34:25adds a big they lost a big in free agency.
- 34:28What was it a year and a half ago and he goes to the
- 34:31Milwaukee, Milwaukee hockey Bucks and and now they add a guy
- 34:35that can rebound. He can he can score, he can do a
- 34:38lot of things that they were missing in the playoffs last
- 34:41year and losing a great 3 point shooter.
- 34:45That was a big part of their offense and a big part of their
- 34:47run last year, especially against the Knicks.
- 34:50That was that was interesting too.
- 34:51But I think he's a free agent after this year.
- 34:54So they could actually re sign him.
- 34:56Isn't he a free agent? Yeah, yeah.
- 34:58I think what was it, a two year? No, I think he's a free agent, I
- 35:02think. How do you pronounce his name?
- 35:03Matheran. Matheran, I think.
- 35:05Oh no, you're right. 22 drafts. He is a free.
- 35:07Agent, I think it's restricted free agent, but he's going to be
- 35:11a free agent for. Sure, Yeah.
- 35:13And I think I could see Indiana bringing him back next year.
- 35:16I could see them doing that. They getting Zubov, Zubov and
- 35:20and get somebody like they get the big that they need.
- 35:22And now they have Hal Burton coming back next year.
- 35:24Watch out for Indiana. I think Indiana will be really,
- 35:26really good. They got a great coach and a
- 35:28very good organization. There's just they're not winning
- 35:31this year. I think they practically gave up
- 35:33on the season in, you know, the last couple of weeks.
- 35:36So but they're still going to fight and they might sneak in as
- 35:39a play in team, But I I don't think Indiana's any good.
- 35:43I think they're looking towards the draft and getting better in
- 35:45the draft. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 35:47we call this Let's Parley. It's time for Let's Parley.
- 36:01Do we have Chaz coming? In he was supposed to come in.
- 36:04I'm texting him now to come in all right.
- 36:06Thought he was going to join. We got Reno Johnny in, and if
- 36:11you don't know how this game is played, it's pretty simple what
- 36:13we're going to do. Hopefully Chaz will pop in,
- 36:16they're going to give you their top three picks of the week, and
- 36:18then they're going to give you one more for their parlay and
- 36:21here comes Chaz. Let's bring him in.
- 36:23So we're going to go Chaz first, then Reno Johnny, and they're
- 36:27going to give you 4 picks and the last one will be their
- 36:30parlay. You guys ready?
- 36:31Ready. I am ready, Arrow.
- 36:34Who's your lean on this game? On what the the Patriots in
- 36:38Seattle. All I'm talking to super.
- 36:39Bowl all right, yeah, I got Seattle winning this game.
- 36:42I think they're obviously they've got the defense, they
- 36:44got the secondary. They're going to play one-on-one
- 36:46man against to me, the Patriots have one wide receiver in digs
- 36:51and and what they're going to do is they're going to shut him
- 36:53down and they're going to try to make them and force them to run
- 36:56the ball and use things use offensive.
- 36:59You know, they're the Henderson they're going to use, you know,
- 37:02Stevenson a little bit more. They might even use them as a
- 37:05pair out on the field to try to open up the offense.
- 37:08And Drake Mays going to have to make passes against a very, a
- 37:10very good secondary. I think.
- 37:12I just think Seattle's just built to win a championship this
- 37:15year. And Sam Donald, as long as he
- 37:17doesn't get himself into Trump but doesn't go any interceptions
- 37:20and make mistakes, I think Seattle will run away with this
- 37:22game. I think Seattle wins by 10,
- 37:24maybe even 12 in this game. There's very few times in my
- 37:28life to humanize words. I can actually just go home now.
- 37:31You just said everything I was going to say.
- 37:33But So what I'm doing is I'm doing 4.
- 37:35I hit it last week. It was 30 to 1.
- 37:38I hit a four team anytime touchdown and I'm going to try
- 37:41to do it again. And and guess who I'm starting
- 37:43with? JSN.
- 37:44All right, so his. His.
- 37:45I mean, do I need to say more? No, no, no.
- 37:48And I think JSN, I think JSM is going to get of 100 yards in
- 37:51this game, even against Gonzalez because what they're going to do
- 37:53with JSN is they're going to move them all over for the
- 37:56field. Gonzalez is going to play
- 37:58one-on-one with JSN. Gonzalez has never played
- 38:01one-on-one all season against probably the second best wide
- 38:05receiver, if you could argue the best wide receiver in the
- 38:07league. So and again, the Patriots had
- 38:10one of the easiest schedules in the NFL.
- 38:12They played against The Jets. Garrett Wilson was hurt
- 38:14practically the whole season. So Gonzalez barely he played, I
- 38:17think he played them once this year.
- 38:19And Miami, they they lost Tyree Kill and Jaden Waddle was up and
- 38:23down all season because he wasn't 100% healthy.
- 38:26So so the he really and and and Buffalo doesn't have a number
- 38:29one wide receiver. So they played in a division
- 38:32that really barely had playmaker.
- 38:35So this guy is as good a playmaker as anybody in a
- 38:38league. So I agree with you.
- 38:39JSM is going to get a touchdown in this game.
- 38:42All right, Reno, Johnny, give us your first.
- 38:46Yeah. So I'll start off by saying no
- 38:50disrespect to my team colleagues here, but I don't like the fact
- 38:56that I'm going to agree with a lot of what y'all said.
- 38:59I will preface this by saying I'm 16 and three since 2007.
- 39:03The last 19 Super Bowls ATS. I'm really good at the Super
- 39:08Bowl. All three losses involved games
- 39:12that the Patriots are in. I took them both times against
- 39:15the Giants and I took them to the Falcons against the
- 39:18Patriots. So that being said, I do not see
- 39:22a way this game is close. I think we're kind of going to
- 39:25be in blowout territory. I look at Drake May as maybe
- 39:29he's going to find out that he just isn't ready.
- 39:32Mike McDonald defenses are absolutely phenomenal against
- 39:36quarterbacks under 24. I believe they're like one and
- 39:39eight overall. Six straight losses by
- 39:42quarterbacks under 24, one touchdown, 8 interceptions.
- 39:46In those games you're going to make him throw the ball because
- 39:50I think that the Seattle defense will, they'll be able to stifle
- 39:53the Patriots running game. That being said, I think this
- 39:55game is going to come down to Sam Darnold.
- 39:58Does he make mistakes? Does he see ghosts out there?
- 40:01I think not. This is probably one of the best
- 40:04stories of redemption. You got a guy that was on The
- 40:06Jets that was thrown away to the Panthers, that went to the
- 40:09Vikings and even the Vikings said.
- 40:12We're going to go to Mike McCarthy, get rid of him, and he
- 40:15goes to Mike McDonald team and they go to the Super Bowl at 14
- 40:19and 3. This is an ultimate story of
- 40:21redemption. Now, I hate that it's 4 1/2.
- 40:23I just don't see a way because one of the situations where if
- 40:27you look at all the money going in, all the tickets going in,
- 40:2980% of jackasses like y'all and myself think the Seahawks are
- 40:36going to run away with this game.
- 40:38That's typically not a side I want to be on because I just
- 40:41feel like the public is never right.
- 40:44But I do have a couple of connections over there, sharp
- 40:47players, respected by the books who are also on the Seahawks
- 40:52now. Why hasn't the line moved?
- 40:54That worries me a little bit. I just think this game is going
- 40:57to be a mismatch for Drake, man. I do think the Seahawks defense
- 41:02is as good and you will not win this game if you score 10
- 41:06points. If you score one offensive
- 41:07touchdown because you get a muck punt, you will not win this
- 41:10game. You're going to have to put up
- 41:11more points. I don't think they do it.
- 41:13Give me the Seahawks. I'm going to lay the four and a
- 41:15half. I do think they blown this game
- 41:18open. All right, Chaz, give us your
- 41:21number 2. All right, so yeah, I've got a
- 41:27lot of circles here in front of you, but I'm going to go with
- 41:30Walker any time touchdown. So again, what you know, the
- 41:35first two I got there, the team, he just said.
- 41:39I, I agree with you. I think Walker gets a touchdown
- 41:41in this game. I think they're going to be able
- 41:43to run the ball. Everybody knows the Patriots had
- 41:45one of the best run defenses. I think there were.
- 41:47Second, Jacksonville was #1. Yeah, boy were corrected us last
- 41:50week. So the Patriots were #2 but the
- 41:54Patriots are very good stop in the run.
- 41:56What they're going to do and I believe what, what Seattle's
- 41:59going to do is they're going to open up the offense with the Jig
- 42:01BA and and Barner. They're going to be able to open
- 42:04it up. And what they're going to do is
- 42:05they're going to leave gaps. And this is a good offensive
- 42:07line. Seattle's a very good offensive
- 42:09line and they're very good running team.
- 42:11And I think Walker is very elusive.
- 42:13You, you saw it against a very good run stopping team in the
- 42:16Rams this year, accepting it the last four games of the season
- 42:20and throughout the playoffs. I, I, I think they're going to
- 42:22be able to run in this game and I think they're going to open up
- 42:24the game. So I, I agree with you, Chaz, I
- 42:26think Walker scores a touchdown on the goal line.
- 42:29All right, you know, Johnny, give us your number 2.
- 42:32I think a lot of people are talking about JSM just braised
- 42:35on my I have a dynasty fantasy league.
- 42:36I have him as one of our receivers who's number draft
- 42:39pick #8 or something and another one of my leagues.
- 42:42I think he's great. I think AJ Farmers come on
- 42:45strong, but I think we forget about the little great White
- 42:48Cope and Cooper Cup. Remember, this guy is a Super
- 42:50Bowl experienced receiver and you forget about him.
- 42:53I think with Walker being A1 back now, because you do not
- 42:57have Charbonnay, you're going to try to extend the running game
- 43:00away. And the way you do that is you
- 43:02actually get Cooper Cup in the slot, move around a little bit.
- 43:05You're going to get a lot of attention on JSN, deservingly
- 43:08so. You're going to forget.
- 43:10But I think Cooper Cup is going to be that guy in 3rd and four,
- 43:13third and five. He's going to be the security
- 43:16blanket. He's going to step into the
- 43:17extension of the run game. He's going to be a guy that's
- 43:20going to get targets. I do think he's going to go over
- 43:2333 1/2 passing, receiving yards. I just think that he's going to
- 43:26be used and he's going to have enough pieces around him where
- 43:29he kind of, you forget that this guy has played in the Super
- 43:33Bowl, has had a lot of success in the Super Bowl.
- 43:36He's been in this moment. And if a quarterback like Sam
- 43:39Darnell, who's probably shitting his pants a little bit, biggest
- 43:42game of his career, total redemption moment.
- 43:45I think Cooper Cup is going to be that guy to settle him down
- 43:47and know that he's there for him.
- 43:49I think 3rd 3 1/2 passing yards is is very doable.
- 43:52He's had this three last four games for our last five games.
- 43:55Give me Cooper Cup over 33 1/2 passing overseeing yards.
- 43:59All right, Mr. Chaz, give us your #3.
- 44:03OK, one thing I think he he he was so superlative about the
- 44:09company on the rest of the understated well, I mean, he was
- 44:11freaking MVP. He didn't have a good game.
- 44:14He was an MVP. What is a receiver an MVP the
- 44:16quarterback after right? Am I right?
- 44:19If the if the, if you have a free game almost always.
- 44:22So, so he he came off the field, NFC or NFC Championship and Bobo
- 44:28got the touchdown, right. And I had cup in the parlay.
- 44:31And then later, because we kept saying Cups got a play in the
- 44:33playoffs. You know it, you got a young
- 44:35quarterback, you got a guy that's been there and we need
- 44:37him. And another touchdown got us to
- 44:39parlay. So I got Henderson.
- 44:41I think New England's going to score a touchdown and I think
- 44:43Henderson's going to get one. I will say this, and I do
- 44:46believe this is going to be a defensive game.
- 44:48I could see I could see Drake May throwing an interception and
- 44:51fumbling the ball once in this game.
- 44:53So if if there's anything on that turnovers, I think they'll
- 44:56be a fumble and an interception by the Patriots.
- 44:59And I think Sam Darnold will throw an interception in this
- 45:02game. But it's.
- 45:03Not I will. You know one of the plays I
- 45:04always make is there will be a special team or a defensive
- 45:08touchdown and they're fricking refs stole it from me.
- 45:10Fuck your whistle up man. That was a fricking touchdown.
- 45:13I had a ticket in my hand was worth 75 bucks I was so pissed.
- 45:17I will have that again this game.
- 45:19All right, Reno, Johnny, give us shoe number.
- 45:22Three, it's kind of cheap, but I'm gonna I'm gonna stick with
- 45:24Cooper Cup and take his receptions.
- 45:25I just think he's gonna have enough targets and we can kind
- 45:29of split the difference. If he doesn't get, if he has,
- 45:31you know, 4 catches that are all 6-7 yards, then I do think I'll
- 45:34still get over that catch radius.
- 45:37I'm working and I'm live right now.
- 45:38Give me one second money. I do think that it's kind of a
- 45:42cheap way to do it. It's a way to kind of double up.
- 45:44I do. I just think Cooper Cup is going
- 45:45to be a big part of this game plan.
- 45:47I think we're going to forgetting about it because we
- 45:49have JSN give me Cooper Cup, the other prop that I like form and
- 45:53I got another. I'm going to go on a Patriots on
- 45:55my next, my next, my next one. All right, So that was all
- 45:59right. Your final, your parlay, Chaz,
- 46:02what do you got? I gotta again, I'm going to pat
- 46:04him on the back. I know the guy a long time and
- 46:07he's gonna get a handicapper. But really, if you like
- 46:10something like that, why not go with both of them?
- 46:12It's stupid not to almost, you know, what you're saying is if
- 46:16you think it's going to be over 33, that he's going to have a
- 46:19big play. But 33 isn't a big play number,
- 46:22right? 79 is a big play #33 is, you
- 46:25know, you're playing the football game.
- 46:27And yeah, I just love both of those props.
- 46:30All right, so here's what I got. Seattle calls it right because
- 46:32they're the way team, aren't they?
- 46:35OK, They lose it. He is New England, the first he
- 46:38could go. Oh, no way.
- 46:40It'll be my second time I've won the Super Bowl.
- 46:43I'm the first player to score in the opening kickoff.
- 46:45So who do you think I got? You got.
- 46:49Marcus Jones I got. Marcus Jones, Shaheed.
- 46:52Oh, Shaheed from the Seahawks. There you go.
- 46:54All right. Won't he be getting the kickoff?
- 46:56Yes, he was. Yes, he.
- 46:57Won't he be running very fast? He's got to hope that they don't
- 47:02tackle. He's been some weapon since the
- 47:04trade deadline when they made that move.
- 47:05He he really has been and he's been something of a blanket for
- 47:10Sam Donald in in the playoffs. So he's been.
- 47:15I can cash 2 tickets with him because that's the special teams
- 47:18or defensive touchdown that I'm looking for as well.
- 47:20And you know he can do it anytime he touches the ball.
- 47:23Yes, I won't have him for for I may know I'll have him in the
- 47:26partly for any time, but I will have him for first also.
- 47:30All right, Reno, Johnny, give us your final pick of the night.
- 47:36Here's what I do think that's going to be kind of against the
- 47:38grain. I like both teams to record an
- 47:42interception. Now I look, I think the Seahawks
- 47:45will run away with this game. I think they will get Drake,
- 47:48man, throw an interception. He's 23 years old.
- 47:50He is not ready for this moment. They played a weak schedule.
- 47:53They played my middle school coach football team schedule.
- 47:56I'm not impressed by it. He's a throw interception.
- 47:58But what I do know about Sandarno is he will also make a
- 48:00mistake. Now that team is good enough to
- 48:02bounce back from that. I do think that plus 185 getting
- 48:05a lot of value on 2 quarterbacks, one with the gross
- 48:09inexperience and one that's really had a rocky career at
- 48:12best, both throw interception you're getting plus almost 2 to
- 48:16one to it. I think this game is a blow up
- 48:18out of the Seahawks, but maybe an early turnover by Sam Garneau
- 48:21before he gets his footing right.
- 48:23But again, I'm making my biggest play of the year.
- 48:25Seahawks -4.5 is my biggest Super Bowl play I've ever made
- 48:30actually. So I'm actually, I'm going to be
- 48:32shining some bricks on on Sunday, but I'm that confident
- 48:35that they do blow it out again. If we come here next week and
- 48:40the Patriots win, we're gonna blame the fact that everybody on
- 48:43this show is on the same side. And that's just never a good.
- 48:46Sign in my defense, I also sell Patriot football, so I'm good
- 48:50either way. Boys, we really appreciate your
- 48:54time. Enjoy the football, enjoy the.
- 48:55Super Bowl. Enjoy the weekend, enjoy the
- 48:57game. Hopefully you all have a
- 48:58wonderful game. Always be cashing good.
- 49:00Luck guys. Reno, Johnny and his son and the
- 49:04one we call Chaz, fantastic as always, always great giving us
- 49:09their picks and, and these guys know what they're talking about
- 49:11and, and on the weekend crunch, they're like at 77% right now
- 49:16since the beginning of the year. They're they're always so
- 49:19fantastic with their picks and they give you 3-4 picks a week
- 49:23and, and they're going to give you a chance to win some money
- 49:26and that's what we're doing. That's why we do these handicap,
- 49:29this handicap segment to kind of draw you guys in to, to bet on
- 49:33their picks. So thank you to Chaz and Reno

- 49:51the season for Hutch and his son Carter Chamberlain.
- 49:56As a lot of Division One schools are looking at Carter and
- 49:59hopefully he picks the right school and eventually becomes a
- 50:04top and first round draft pick like his dad is.
- 50:06So we're rooting for him. A shout out to Carter.

- 51:19I, I think he said this morning it was like 40 something degrees
- 51:22over there, but it's going to hit its highs at 73.
- 51:25So it's, it's beautiful right now.
- 51:28He's enjoying the, the beautiful weather at 70°.
- 51:31So enjoy the, the time with Shaddor Sanders as you're
- 51:35sharing whatever that is, whatever that is.
- 51:38I, I don't know what it looks a little bit different to me.
- 51:42I, I wouldn't share anything with Shaddor Sanders when it
- 51:44comes to eating, that's for sure.
- 51:46Anyways, that's it. Ladies and gentlemen, we will
- 51:48see you next week. Have a very good weekend, Enjoy
- 51:51the Super Bowl. Go Seattle, go Hawks baby.
- 51:55Good night. It is the worldwide sports radio
