God is oftentimes depicted in the Bible as light because He is indeed Light personified. Everything about Him is light, and His people, by association are also light just as Jesus declared that they that believe in Him are the light of the world, just as He is the light of the world. Today's Daily Devotional emphasizes this truth that God is light and that the light in which He is clothed is so brilliantly pure that it is unapproachable and can make people, especially His adversaries, to go blind.
