- 0:43SPEAKER_00: I knew it.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: I said it and I knew it.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: I said, I'm not feeling good about today.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: No one's gonna win today.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: Isn't that?
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: I mean By the way, thank you to Hasselsons for sponsoring this.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: I know it's a crappy attitude.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: No, it's it's not.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: You're just that was the feeling you had today.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: I was feeling a little different.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: I thought, okay.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: Were we close?
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: Yes, we had somebody call.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: This is true.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: And theirs was the day before.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: And it wasn't called them.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: And the aunt was wrong.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: That is such a good ant, though.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: Always looking out.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: And remember your birthdays.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: I don't remember everyone's birthday.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: You know what would make that ant better?
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: That screw up buying dinner at Libs.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: For your nephew.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: You screwed that right up.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: You owe him.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Bring them to Centertown Social and get a dinner there tonight with us.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: Better yet.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: Five to seven.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: And uh we're gonna be slinging drinks and lots of prizes too.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, speaking of uh losers with the birthday wheel, here's another set of losers.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: Fantasy football, it's too deep.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: Fantasy football, and it's every day, Remember.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: It's football's blender.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: We'll keep me busy every day from now until December.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's fantasy football draft day, and I say there's gonna be a lot of people that are gonna be losers with that.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: I mean, somebody ultimately wins, but rarely does it seem to be you.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Uh, my boyfriend's a big baseball guy.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: And one thing we haven't gone through together, not really, not really, is the full football season.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Now, did we meet at a Bill's tailgate watch party?
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: Yes, we did.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: But I don't know how fantasy football he gets.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: Or some people are so, so into it.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: I know, I'm sure Natalie, what's Natalie's husband's name?
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: Luke.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: Luke.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: I'm sure Natalie and your father.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: Each have their own teams.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: I'll bet you money.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: Natalie, I know you're listening.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: Do you have your own team?
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: And I know Luke has his own team.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: She's a Broncos fan.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: He's a Bills fan.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: But the thing with fantasy football, you don't have to, it just it can be players from all over the place.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: This is like a following of the stats.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: It's too much work for me.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but what I'm saying is, she like she has a team.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: She is she is a diehard.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: She is somebody that really pays attention.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: But Scott and I were talking about this off the air a second ago, and I said, I used to always do fantasy football.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: And I did it with all of my friends from back home, which is fine, but I think there's two things that happened.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: One, when you're not with each other to razz each other all the time.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: Like, did you guys ever watch the league?
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: That was a great show was great.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: So they get together and you you bust a little bazaal.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: So if I'm not there for the ball busting, it just doesn't make it as fun.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: And well, didn't and also losing.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: I mean, let's say, didn't you have one year you did well, or was that with the Super Bowl picks?
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: Uh no, I always lose Super Bowl picks.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: But at one year I did do pretty decent on the fantasy football.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: Until the end, it just I mean, and she was picking based on, you know, the size of the bulge with the cup.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's how that was going.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: But I lost so much that it it it just isn't worth it.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: I know you kind of have to do it.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: But no, I know a lot of people that do.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: Uh from soccer, Valerie and Brian.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: I think they both have individual teams.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: In fact, I know they do.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: So anyway, today's draft day for that.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: I you know, if you're excited for that, good luck to you because I can tell you the odds not with you.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: Um, no.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: But have fun with it.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: Now, I need your help.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: Today is Hawaiian shirt day.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: Oh, this takes a certain kind of man.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: You remember when we were at that radio conference and our friend Mahoney, he always, every day, every day Mahoney had it.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: Wears a Hawaiian shirt.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: So here's the thing.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Tonight we have the Centertown Social Scott and Alley Afterwork Social.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: I have one Hawaiian shirt in my closet.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: Do I do I?
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: I'll put a Scott and Alley shirt underneath it in case, you know, well, in case the buttons are fighting too hard around this, but uh but Why do you have a Hawaiian shirt?
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: You're not a Hawaiian shirt guy.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: Even though you have a big personality.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: I thought you were gonna say Belly! No!
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Even though you're a big personality, I don't think that you're a Hawaiian shirt guy because you don't tend to dress that way, but I always say this.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: This is an uh I'm going against my own argument.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: Whenever women say, I can't wear red lipstick, because I always wear red lipstick, I say, yes, you can.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: You just got you just gotta start once.
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: So are we gonna actually draw this to conclusion right now?
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: Am I wearing the Hawaiian shirt tonight?
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: I think that would just even bring up the vibe a little bit more.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: Then it is a sole deal.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: You've seen me one time in the Hawaiian shirt.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: You know who else always wears a Hawaiian shirt?
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: Guy Fieri.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: You know he does.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Who is also getting surprised?
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: Did you spike my hair tonight?
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: Yes, you should.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: Uh he's also getting ridiculously skinny.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: He must be on a GLP one.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: I didn't notice that.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: Is he really dropping it?
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: He was on something that my parents, I was at my parents' house like three weeks ago, and they watch some terrible TV.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: They watch 69-year-old people TV.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, yes.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: Between all the reruns of CSI, Dancing with the Stars, and then this.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: I'm like, Guy Fury, that's who you're picking.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: But anyway, that's here nor there.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: But yeah, he's dang skinny.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: I didn't notice that, huh?
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: I think if even if you started today, you could keep it going.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: You can get your collection boosted up.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: And that way, every time somebody goes to a location, they see one.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: This is what I love about things.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: I love cherries.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: So whenever people go places and they see cherry things, they always bring me a cherry thing.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: And you're thinking now people should start bringing me Hawaiian shirts because I only have one on the closet.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: You're getting to that age of you are you are the Hawaiian Hawaiian shirt guy.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: Well.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: That could be your new thing.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: Uh tonight I'll I'll whip out the Hawaiian shirt.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: And I'll put on social.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: If you guys really like it, I think that you should be the Hawaiian shirt guy.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: We all know like one Hawaiian shirt guy, right?
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: All this because it's National Hawaiian shirt day today.
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: My best friend used to be the Hawaiian.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: My best friend used to be the Hawaiian shirt guy.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: Grew out of it?
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he grew up of it.
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: Until he's 60?
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: And then it comes back around.
